	It's the David Night Show.
	Welcome on this Friday before Christmas December 21st It's the 105th anniversary of the creation of the Federal Reserve.
	You know, interesting things happen around Christmas time in Washington when most of the people are not paying attention.
	When many of the people in Congress go home, people like Bob Corker, who just basically gave, as the headline said, the middle finger to Republican voters, said, I'm not going to be here to support the president When this bill comes before the Senate.
	And, of course, the House did pass the bill giving President Trump $5.7 billion for the wall.
	No strings attached.
	It now goes to the Senate.
	And Mitch McConnell is saying, oh, we're going to have 60 votes.
	No, you don't.
	There's nothing in the Constitution about having 60 votes for anything.
	You have to have a simple majority.
	A simple majority.
	It's not just Republicans who've gone home, and he's not the only Republican who's gone home.
	He said, I'm not going to participate.
	I'm going to take my ball and go home.
	It's also some Democrats who've gone home.
	So we'll see what happens with this.
	This is now in play.
	And President Trump, I think, we're going to talk about movies a little bit today.
	We're going to go back and take another look at the report that I did on the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Federal Reserve, back in 2013.
	Five years ago, I did It's a Wonderful Lie.
	And I thought it was kind of interesting because, you know, It's a Wonderful Life premiered on December the 20th, back in 1946.
	That was 33 years after they'd created the Federal Reserve.
	The whole image Of J.P.
	Morgan and the bankers and engineering, banking runs and so forth.
	That was fresh on the minds of people that were there, whether they were consciously included in the script or unconsciously there.
	You can definitely see J.P.
	Morgan and the character of the banker, Potter.
	And you can also see what people had lived through previous decades with that.
	And there's amazing parallels in It's a Wonderful Life to what was actually pulled on the American public with the Federal Reserve.
	And folks, it's going on right now.
	That's the other big story that's happening this week.
	The blatant, either, if you want to be charitable, you just say that they are unbelievably incompetent, but I don't think that's ever been the case with the Federal Reserve.
	I think they have deliberately put a throttle, put a lid on our economy.
	They have destroyed the value of our money.
	Taking away over 99% of it in the first 100 years, they continue to rig our economy, taking it through boom and bust cycles.
	Is there any question that the Federal Reserve created the boom back in the early 2000s, that they burst that bubble that they created in 2007-2008?
	Is there any question about that now?
	Is there any question that after that, they engineered an even bigger bubble with real estate and with stock that they're now in the process of puncturing?
	And yet, they were sold to the American public on the very idea that they were going to stop these kinds of cycles.
	Needed to have a central bank in order to stop these kinds of boom and bust cycles, and yet they have been the source of it.
	They're a source of the Great Depression as well.
	Ben Bernanke, former Fed head, even admitted that.
	Yeah, we caused the recession.
	Sorry about that.
	So we're going to talk a little bit about that as well.
	We have Mark Hall joining us today.
	In the third hour, we're going to talk about what's going on in Turkey.
	Turkey, folks, is right at the center of what is going on in Syria and elsewhere.
	They've also been at the center of sanctions.
	There's a back and forth going on between the U.S., Turkey, and Russia.
	So who's going to have sway there?
	And there is an Islamic cleric that is here in the United States.
	We've had an American pastor kidnapped so that Erdogan, the head of Turkey, could try to use him as a bargaining chip, just like we've had the Chinese dictator arrest three Canadians so far as a bargaining chip for the Huawei executive that was arrested in China.
	I'm sorry, in Canada.
	He wanted to get this guy Fatala Gulen.
	Do you realize that it's getting close to a billion dollars worth of subsidies that we're paying this Islamic cleric to educate her children here in America?
	Mark Hall has blown the lid on that.
	He's going to talk to us about the geopolitics of Turkey, Syria, Russia.

	Well you might think that everything is winding down in Washington, but this has been one of the busiest weeks we've seen in a long time.
	And we have a lot of news.
	First, we're going to talk about the fight over whether we're going to have an open border or an open government.
	I say, shut them both down.
	If we're going to have A government that is going to leave the border open as a matter of policy.
	Shut it down.
	It is the enemy of the American people.
	And I think this is shown nowhere more clearly than in the actions taken in the GoFundMe campaign started by a Purple Heart recipient who is a triple amputee.
	He lost three limbs in the Iraq War back in 2004.
	And of course, we reported on him, Brian Colfagy, I think is the way you pronounce his name.
	We reported about the fact that he was booted off of Facebook!
	They don't like him, of course, because he's a conservative.
	He was booted off of Facebook and he was very upset about it.
	He had been encouraged by Facebook to spend $300,000 to promote his organizations and so forth, and then they just kicked him off the platform.
	How's that for torturous interference?
	But he's created a GoFundMe campaign.
	We the people will fund the wall.
	We talked about it yesterday and there's a story from Don Salazar up on InfoWars.com.
	He said it's called we the people will fund the wall.
	They're going to try to get to a goal of $1 billion.
	Triple amputee veteran Brian Kolfagi says that 100% of it will go towards funding President Trump's long-promised border wall.
	He said, we've contacted the Trump administration to secure a point of contact where all the funds will go upon completion.
	When we get this information secured, we will update.
	We have many very high-level contacts already helping us.
	And he also said the government has accepted large private donations before.
	Most recently, a billionaire donated $7.5 million to fund half of the Washington Monument repairs in 2012.
	This is no different.
	So it's been done before.
	We're going to do it again, except this time it's not going to be $7.5 million.
	They're going for $1 billion.
	And to give you an idea of how quickly this is ramping up, We had, when I reported this yesterday, I picked up an article from the previous evening, and it was $400,000.
	And as I was doing that, Julian says, David, it's up over $4 million now.
	I was like, oh, OK, wow.
	It's gone up by a factor of 10 in about 12 hours.
	And then by the time this story went up yesterday afternoon, just after the show, it was up to $5.5 million.
	This morning it was $10 million.
	When my wife sent me an update, it's now $11.3 million, just before the show started.
	So it is going up very, very rapidly.
	President Trump said, while I begrudgingly signed the omnibus bill, I was promised the wall and border security by leadership.
	I promised that it would be done by the end of the year.
	That's now, he said.
	It didn't happen.
	We foolishly fight for border security for other countries, but not for our beloved USA.
	Not good.
	But it's very good that President Trump is now saying that.
	I've been saying that for a very long time.
	We need to understand that what is going on here is the fact that we are told everywhere The same objections that we say, oh, we got to bring the troops home from the border because we don't want them there during the holidays.
	But they don't care the troops are in Iraq or Afghanistan or Syria, quietly in Syria.
	They don't care that they're there for the holidays, whether it's Thanksgiving or Christmas, but we got to bring them home from the border.
	Oh, that's tough duty.
	That's dangerous duty.
	No, it's not.
	But they really are in danger in these other places.
	We don't need to protect the U.S.
	border.
	There's no threat.
	That caravan is too far away.
	How far away is Syria?
	Why are we there?
	Why are they announcing that they're going to be there forever?
	That might have been one of the things that turned President Trump around.
	And of course we're told there's no way to fund this.
	We have no money to fund the defense of our border.
	But you know, yesterday Matt Bracken was doing the fourth hour of the Alex Jones Show and he had a great comment.
	A great comment.
	He said, we're looking at five billion dollars.
	Remember when Obama just came up with $150 billion for the Iranians?
	Remember that?
	Remember the ransom plane?
	I mean, it literally came out of thin air, out of the plane, like manna from heaven.
	$150 billion!
	And folks, I'll remind you, that was mostly foreign currency.
	And people say, where'd this money come from?
	Oh, don't ask me any questions and I'll tell you no lies.
	We still haven't gotten an explanation as to where he got all that foreign currency.
	They did say why they had to use foreign currency was because it was against the law to use the American banking system because we had sanctions against Iran.
	So in order to deal with that ransom deal with Iran of $150 billion, they had to somehow get some laundered, dirty money, foreign currency and so forth.
	Plain loads of it!
	So they took it.
	Didn't have any problem.
	$150 billion.
	Thirty times what President Trump is asking for.
	And to talk about how absurd this is, as I mentioned yesterday, We got a situation here where last year's 2018 budget was four trillion dollars.
	That's what the US government is spending.
	Four trillion dollars.
	We're looking for five billion dollars.
	Billion with a B when they spent four trillion dollars.
	Trillion with a T. That's equivalent to saying we can't find Any way to increase this budget by one-eighth of one percent.
	That's right folks, it's 0.125 percent.
	Or 0.00125 of the budget.
	That's how tiny it is.
	Can't find it?
	Give me a break.
	Give me a break.
	These turncoat Republicans and these Democrats who are traitors to the United States Deliberately keeping this border open.
	It isn't about a wall.
	It is about defending this country.
	We have enough people that are being caught by Border Patrol that are equivalent to a caravan coming in every week to 10 days right now.
	But they're just coming in about one-tenth of that per day.
	And that's what they're catching.
	That's what they're catching.
	And we don't have a large increase in illegal aliens because they're catching everybody, right?
	They're not catching most of the people who come in.
	But just the ones that they catch are equivalent to a caravan every week.
	And so you know that a lot more than that is coming in.
	We're going to talk later in the program about the parallels between It's a Wonderful Life and how they show this banker manipulating the economy there in that one small town of Bedford Falls.
	It's a wonderful lie.
	It was a report that I did talking about what the Federal Reserve had done to us in a hundred years.
	And of course they used the same thing that's happening this week.
	The fact that people are not paying much attention in Washington.
	A lot of people want to get out of town.
	They rammed this thing through very secretly, very quietly, just before Christmas.
	December the 21st, 2013.
	I did the report in 2013.
	two thousand and outside and nineteen thirteen i did report two thousand thirteen uh... they ran it through in nineteen thirteen very quietly and uh... a lot of people not there to vote on it This is a very important time for President Trump to make these bold moves that he's making right now.
	To defend the country and to stop the forever war.
	So we're going to talk about Mattis' resignation coming up.
	But another movie that came to mind when I saw this was Lord of the Rings, or the story Lord of the Rings.
	You know you have the king, Phaedon, And he's been basically gaslighted by this guy in his cabinet.
	Grimer Wormtongue.
	There's a lot of Grimer Wormtongues in Trump's cabinet and in Washington.
	It is filled with them.
	Now, of course, he was also possessed by Sour Man, who's kind of running him.
	So he's in this fog.
	He's in this haze.
	And he doesn't know what is really happening.
	He's actually kind of turned against some of his allies who are telling him to do the right thing.
	You know, people like Ann Coulter or whatever.
	Come on, you can wake up, you can do this!
	You know, Mark Meadows is the one who went to him, and had an insight, and he was more tactful about it, not as direct.
	And said, look, this is it.
	You're either going to do it now, or it's never going to happen.
	This is not only, as I said yesterday, not only a Christmas gift to Pelosi, but it is a Valentine's gift to them as well, because when this comes back, it's going to be Valentine's Day, there's absolutely no way that this stuff is going to go through.
	And he was saying, this is like a bad case of Potomac Fever.
	And it made me think about Lord of the Rings, you know, when Gandalf throws Grimer Wormtongue off the throne, and he throws out Sour Man, and Theoden starts to wake up.
	And they hand him the sword.
	And they said, take a hold of this.
	It'll remind you of who you are.
	And that's what's basically happened with the House Freedom Caucus, with Mark Meadows, with the conservatives, telling President Trump, remember who you are.
	And I think he does.

	It's the Friday before Christmas, and all through the house.
	It was a celebration because they passed the funding for the wall, but we're going to see what happens in the Senate.
	And why did it happen?
	President Trump, it appeared, was sending signals on Tuesday.
	Alright, we'll see what the Democrats will do and so forth.
	It was going to put it off to another time, and Mark Meadows said, this is it.
	This is when we have to do it.
	He and other conservatives from the House Freedom Caucus talked to President Trump and said, it's now or never.
	The conservative media was saying that.
	I was saying it.
	Breitbart was saying it.
	Ann Coulter was saying it.
	Many people were saying it.
	You've got to do this.
	You can't cave on this.
	You've got to stand up.
	You said you're going to do it, you've got to do it.
	And so things reversed after Sarah Huckabee Sanders came out and said that.
	And again, it was, as Mark Meadows said, a bad case of Potomac Fever.
	He said, I think it's appropriate to remind the American people that there is a bad case of Potomac Fever up here in Washington, D.C.
	They forget what they promised the American people!
	And yet...
	What they must do is not forget it this time.
	Mr. President, we are going to back you up if you veto this bill.
	We'll be there.
	But more importantly, the American people will be there.
	They'll be there to support you.
	Let's build the wall and make sure that we do our job in Congress.
	And of course, as I began the program, I said, look, evidence of that is the GoFundMe campaign, which is exploding.
	It's now over $11 million.
	The people saying, I will put money on it.
	We have voted for this time and time again.
	Stop the invasion.
	Protect our borders.
	Use the military.
	You don't even need to get the permission of Congress.
	And I'm hoping that President Trump will do that.
	He's now saying, we're spending all this money to defend other countries, but we don't even defend our border.
	He needs to, and I think it's a big step in the right direction.
	To have Mattis leave.
	I think that is great news.
	Because he, along with a lot of these other people, have been the Grimer Wormtongue, essentially giving President Trump Potomac Fever.
	He's now remembered who he is.
	And hopefully he's going to take control of this, do what he campaigned on, what his instincts were.
	He's had a lot of people who have delayed him on this.
	He's had people like Rex Tillerson, who for six months Delayed him on doing the right thing on the Paris Climate Accord.
	He eventually did the right thing.
	But you gotta get rid of these Grimer worm tongues in your cabinet and not put any more in when they go.
	I mean, that's the key thing here.
	Jim Jordan said, everyone knows the line, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
	But the new line should be, fool the American people four times, shame on Congress.
	Shame on Congress.
	And shame on Mitch McConnell if he lets this stuff go through.
	When we talk about Mattis resigning, and just let me talk about this real quickly and then I'll get on to or lay the groundwork for what the Fed is doing here to us.
	I mean there's so many different swamp creatures and of course the Fed, as G. Edward Griffin pointed out in the great book talking about the creation of the Federal Reserve, the creature from Jekyll Island, perhaps the worst swamp creature in Washington.
	Talk about gaslighting the American public.
	Gaslighting presidents and so forth.
	They don't have to do what President Trump says.
	You know, basically the Fed chairman gave President Trump and the economy and the American people the finger this week, just like the headlines are saying about Senator Bob Corker as he heads out of town.
	That's it.
	I'm not going to do anything to try to get the border protected.
	Basically, they don't have to do anything to help the American people.
	That's not their interest.
	Their interest is in the bank, and the bank's interest, not the American people.
	We'll talk about that in just a moment, but when everybody's talking about Mattis, and we'll have the reactions of various people coming up, you've got all of the neocons and the Democrats, of course, are wringing their hands and saying, this is horrible!
	Mattis is living.
	Of course, a lot of them, a lot of the Democrats didn't support Mattis before, but Gateway Pundit Mattis has put out a document that they obtained.
	It is a linked non-disclosure agreement and it was sent out to multiple political consulting firms in May of this year.
	Mattis and the people around him were sending out kind of inquiries to political consultants and said, you know, sign this non-disclosure agreement.
	we're talking thinking about running against President Trump in 2020.
	Having Mattis run against him in 2020.
	And you can't disclose this to anybody.
	Well somebody disclosed it to Gateway Pundit.
	They've got the document here that you can read at their article.
	But he explored the possibility of running against Trump in 2020.
	And they found that it was favorable for him to run in 2020.
	But they said that it's going to hurt him a bit if the sitting Secretary of Defense campaigns against the president that he serves under.
	That's going to kind of hurt him in terms of running against that president.
	And so they concluded that 2024 would be the best time for him unless things change.
	Ooh, maybe things did change.
	Still, they decided it'd be a good move to assemble a group of consultants to stand by just in case he wants to run in 2020.
	And things turned sour with President Trump and Mattis not too long after that.
	And then we had the revelations back in September and October.
	You know, we had the book come out by Woodward.
	You had Mattis supposedly trash-talking in that book to Bob Woodward, trash-talking President Trump.
	And then President Trump started talking about replacing him.
	That was in October.
	And in November, you had editorials from the same people who are now saying it is a catastrophe that Mattis is going.
	The same people back in the end of November were saying he should leave.
	He should leave now.
	This is politics, folks, and if you don't understand that a four-star general is all about politics, you don't know how the game is played.
	It is totally political.
	What do you do with a general when he stops being a general?
	Well, he runs for president.
	That's right.
	And let's go to the Fed, that other creature in Washington.
	The Fed is done supporting stock prices, so cash is not so bad as an investment now, says David Tepper.
	It's the day after the Fed raised interest rates.
	He said Powell basically told the Fed That the put is dead.
	Everyone is tight.
	China money growth is plummeting.
	The European Central Bank is cutting.
	The last of quantitative easing.
	And the Fed is still tightening down, even though we see real estate markets and stock markets getting really, really shaky and freezing up.
	The next biggest issuance of treasuries and worldwide fixed income is coming next year.
	Something is going to get crowded out.
	Bonds, stocks, etc.
	And so he says cash is not so bad.
	And this is how it happens, folks.
	The Federal Reserve, a hundred years ago, and this is a story that was written by the Washington Post five years ago, December 21st, 2013.
	And even the Washington Post said it was created by secret meetings of plutocrats.
	Yeah.
	Yeah, plutocrats.
	One of the men, a German immigrant named Paul Warburg, carried a borrowed shotgun to Jekyll Island in order to look like a duck hunter despite having never drawn a bead on a waterfowl in his life.
	But he did have quite a bit of experience.
	It was his brother, Max Warburg, who was Germany's leading banker at the time, and he was the guy who gave Vladimir Lenin ten million dollars in gold in Switzerland, put him on a sealed train from Switzerland to Russia to start the Russian Revolution.
	His brother, And of course we were, you know, supposed to be against the Germans at the time.
	His brother was here, creating the Federal Reserve with J.P.
	Morgan.
	He and his brother had been a part of a bank that had, for 60 years, been a part of the Rothschild organization.
	You know, kind of like Emmanuel Macron.

	You know, it was 72 years ago yesterday that the movie It's a Wonderful Life premiered.
	It was not originally a success.
	It became a success after the copyright expired.
	And it became a perennial favorite.
	But it was 105 years ago that the Federal Reserve was created.
	And I thought there were some amazing parallels between the two when I did this report five years ago.
	Yeah, the angel theology, it's a wonderful life, is out there.
	I don't agree with that.
	But it is an amazing revelation of J.P.
	Morgan and the fraud of the Federal Reserve.
	Here's that report from five years ago.
	It's a wonderful lie.
	Over the last 100 years, the Federal Reserve has created bubbles and burst them, enslaved us with debt, and destroyed our purchasing power through inflation.
	Yes, it's been a wonderful lie for the bankers.
	There are striking parallels in Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life to the lies and tricks that real bankers used to create the Federal Reserve.
	Human nature doesn't change, and the greedy elite of 1913 and 2013 look and act a lot like Potter, the banker in the movie.
	And many Americans are left like George Bailey, staring into the abyss as their dreams collapse and they face financial ruin.
	Do we live in a country that looks a lot more like Pottersville than Bedford Falls?
	What does Frank Capra's film show us about how we got here and how we can get out?
	When the Federal Reserve was created two days before Christmas 100 years ago, it was a culmination of six years of fraud, fear, and manipulation.
	I've never really seen one, but that's got all the earmarks of being a run.
	The panic of 1907 was used to shape public support for the Fed.
	The panic was triggered by rumors that two major banks were about to become insolvent, just as we see in the movie.
	George, there is a rumor around town that you've closed your doors.
	Is that true?
	I am going all out to help in this crisis.

	They'll close up for a week and then reopen.
	Just took over the bank.

	Boy, you never miss a trick, do you, Potter?
	Unfortunately, J.P.
	Morgan got away with the deception, and was able to shut down competitors and snapped up assets at fire sale prices.
	Now, take during the Depression, for instance.
	You and I were the only ones that kept our heads.
	You saved the building and the lawn, and I saved all the rest.
	Yes, well, most people say you stole all the rest.
	The envious ones say that, George.
	The suckers!
	Charles Lindbergh Sr.
	warned people at the time of the creation of the Federal Reserve that it would not stop boom and bust cycles, but would actually create them in order to benefit its private owners.
	Here's what he said.
	To cause high prices, all the Federal Reserve Board will do will be to lower the re-discount rate, producing an expansion of credit and a rising stock market.
	Then, when businessmen are adjusted to these conditions, it can check prosperity in mid-career by arbitrarily raising the rate of interest.
	It can cause a pendulum of a rising and falling market to swing gently back and forth, or cause violent fluctuations by greater rate variation.
	And in either case, it will possess inside information as to the financial conditions and advanced knowledge of the coming change, either up or down.
	This is the strangest, most dangerous advantage ever placed in the hands of a special privileged class by any government that ever existed.
	The system is private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money.
	They know in advance when to create panics to their advantage, and they know when to stop panic.
	Inflation and deflation work equally well for them when they control the finance.
	As we see in the movie, not all lending institutions have the same motivations.
	Now, you take this loan here to Ernie Bishop.
	You know, the fellow that sits around all day on his brains in his taxi, you know.
	I happen to know the bank turned down this loan.
	But he comes here, and we're building him a house worth $5,000!
	Why?
	Well, I handled that, Mr. Potter.
	You have all the papers there, his salary, insurance.
	I can personally vouch for his character.
	Friend of yours?
	Yes, sir.
	You see, if you shoot pool with some employee here, you can come and borrow money.
	What does that get us?
	A discontented, lazy rabble instead of a thrifty working class.
	As a former FDIC chair said, all too often the large banks use their models and their algorithms and if you don't fit in their boxes, you don't get the loan.
	And Dodd-Frank legislation is tying the hands of small lenders, shutting out buyers and shutting down lenders.
	Today there are fewer lenders than at any time the government has kept records.
	10,000 banks disappeared between 1984 and 2011.
	This town needs this measly one-horse institution if only to have some place where people can come without crawling the potter.
	In the movie, George gets to see what happens to the small town if Potter didn't have competition from credit unions and smaller lenders.
	If it hadn't been for you... Yeah, if it hadn't been for me, everybody would be a lot better off.
	My wife and my kids and my friends and my... Look, little fella, why don't you go off and haunt somebody else?
	Yeah, so you still think killing yourself would make everyone feel happier, eh?
	Well, I don't know.
	I guess you're right.
	It would have been better if I'd never been born at all.
	Pottersville, the only businesses thriving are vice.
	People are angry.
	The town is filled with signs like, keep moving, keep off the grass.
	Bert the cop actually shoots at George when he's running away and is no threat to anyone.
	Stand back!
	Everyone is a renter, no one has a stake.
	Now, you're Arnie Bishop, and you live in Bailey Park with your wife and kid.
	Look, bud, what's the idea?
	I live in a shack in Pottersville.
	My wife ran away three years ago and took the kid, and I ain't never seen you before in my life, see?
	Private property and everyone having a stake is the antidote to Pottersville.
	Here, you're all businessmen here.
	Doesn't make them better citizens, doesn't make them better customers.
	But whether it's the Trans-Pacific Partnership or a global carbon tax, the global elite don't see you as a stakeholder.
	They want to turn us all into serfs and treat us like cattle.
	Just remember this, Mr. Potter, that this rabble you're talking about, they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community.
	Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath?
	Anyway, my father didn't think so.
	People were human beings to him, but to you, a warped, frustrated old man, they're cattle.
	Well, in my book, he died a much richer man than you'll ever be.
	I'm not interested in your book.
	I'm talking about the building and loans.
	I know very well what you're talking about.
	You're talking about something you can't get your fingers on.
	Speaking of riches, do you find the salary amounts amusing when Potter tries to buy George off?
	Just look at your size.
	Young man, 27, 28, married.
	Make me say 40 a week.
	45.
	Forty-five.
	George, I'll start you out at $20,000 a year.
	Twenty-thousand.
	Twenty-thousand dollars a year?
	You wouldn't mind living in the nicest house in town?
	Buying your wife a lot of fine clothes?
	A couple of business trips to New York a year?
	Maybe once in a while Europe?
	You wouldn't mind that, would you, Jones?
	Would I?
	Even if George had saved a lot of his $20,000 salary, would it have bought much a couple of decades later?
	By even the government's very conservative estimate of inflation, the dollar has lost 90% of its value since 1947, when the movie was made.
	The Fed's deliberate inflation is devastating to anyone trying to accumulate wealth through hard work and saving.
	So what is the answer to all the George Baileys out there a hundred years after the government gave control of our money supply to private bankers like Potter?
	Well, Potter had more money than he could spend.
	But would any of you want to be Potter?
	You sit around here and you spin your little webs and you think the whole world revolves around you and your money.
	Well, it doesn't, Mr. Potter.
	In the whole vast configuration of things, I'd say you were nothing but a scurvy little spider.
	George Bailey finally sees how rich his own life is, as he sees the fruits of relationship, honesty, and compassion.

	We were just playing the commentary I did about the Federal Reserve's creation.
	It's a wonderful lie, showing parallels to it.
	And it's a wonderful life.
	And of course, it's a wonderful life.
	Premiered 72 years ago yesterday, the Federal Reserve was created 105 years ago today.
	You know, the FBI...
	Investigated the film.
	They didn't like it.
	J. Edgar Hoover, specifically.
	I guess it just told too much about who the real government was.
	For J. Edgar Hoover.
	And he was not very happy with it.
	He said it represented a rather obvious attempt to discredit bankers.
	Actually, that was the notes of what they'd said.
	Deliberately maligned, they believed, the upper class.
	Thought it was communist propaganda.
	Well, you know, it wasn't necessarily bankers that were being discredited.
	I mean, George Bailey was a banker, right?
	Savings and loan.
	But, Potter was the very image of J.P.
	Morgan.
	A monopolistic banker.
	As a matter of fact, if you look at the little banker that's running around on Monopoly money, you know, the game Monopoly.
	The little guy with the handlebar mustache and the suit and the top hat and everything.
	I mean, that is a cartoon caricature of J.P.
	Morgan.
	Everybody knew that about him.
	That's why I said, you know, whether this was conscious or unconscious, they knew this was talking about J.P.
	Morgan.
	And I think they knew it was talking about the creation of the Federal Reserve.
	The Federal Reserve was predicated, as I pointed out in that little commentary there, it was predicated on a bank run.
	Probably instituted by J.P.
	Morgan, many people believe.
	Then used that to argue for a central bank that would stop boom and bust cycles.
	That's the way that it works.
	But it's kind of interesting because, you know, the FBI thought that was a very dangerous movie.
	Google thought that my commentary was very dangerous.
	It's the first time I ever had any issues.
	And the only time I ever had any issues with YouTube until they completely deplatformed my show without any warning, without any strikes.
	Never had any strikes.
	As a matter of fact, they didn't give me a strike when they censored that report five years ago.
	It would get up to about 12,000 views and then it would disappear.
	And then somebody else would pick it up.
	We talked about that.
	So some other people started picking it up and putting it on YouTube and it would disappear after 12,000 views.
	And it happened over and over and over again.
	And so we kind of let it go.
	Christmas season was gone.
	After about six months, it came back up and it stayed there for another five years until they just completely took me off without warning.
	When they deplatformed Alex Jones and InfoWars and went around and they deplatformed everything that I had done, including that.
	Now, at the time, they were saying, well, it violates a copyright restriction.
	The entire movie, the entire movie, It's a Wonderful Life, had been up for several years at that point, had a million views.
	That was what I used.
	That was my source material for where I took those comments.
	And of course, even if it was copyrighted material, that was fair use.
	I mean, you look at, uh, uh, the, uh, what is the company that does the, uh, Honest Trailers.
	Honest Trailers takes movies that are currently in theatrical release, uh, or movies that are definitely under copyright protection, and they'll use a lot of clips from it, and they'll talk about it, and it's like, it's constantly, uh, presenting clips from the movie.
	I had a lot of other material that was thrown in there.
	So clearly, under fair use, that didn't apply.
	It was very dangerous material for them.
	And then five years later they decided that everything that we do at InfoWars is very dangerous material for them and they took it down.
	Just a little aside here as we look at the 72nd anniversary of It's a Wonderful Life.
	It was a flop when it came out.
	Nobody went to see it.
	It premiered in 1946 and it didn't get any attention at all until the 1970s.
	There was a clerical error that caused them to not file to re-extend the copyright on it, and so it passed into public domain.
	And Ted Turner's broadcast, his cable channel there in Atlanta, picked it up and played it all through Christmas.
	And then everybody started picking it up and playing it.
	And it was in the public domain for about 20 years.
	And then they reasserted copyright in the United States.
	It's still public domain everywhere else.
	But in the United States, they came back and they played a little trick because, you know, if you know the right people, you can get them to agree with you no matter how absurd the premise.
	They went to court and they said, well, yes, the copyrights for movies expired and we didn't refile that and so it's out of copyright, but we had a script when we wrote the movie.
	We had a script!
	As all movies do, it's not anything unusual, but this is the first and the only case I know of where they have reasserted their copyright basis based on going back to the written script.
	And so now it is in copyright again in the United States, but nowhere else.
	And that was supposedly the game that they were playing with us, but then they took it off.
	No, it was about the politics.
	They were threatened by it just like J. Edgar Hoover was threatened by any exposure of what the Federal Reserve truly is.
	But again, going back to the movie, it was based on a short story, The Greatest Gift, before that.
	But there were some changes to it.
	Frank Capra who did it, a lot of people say Seneca Falls was the model for what he did with Bedford Falls.
	He visited it in November of 1945 as he was working on the movie.
	A retired barber said in the 1990s that he cut Frank Capra's hair in the town in late 1945.
	He also reportedly learned while he was there Capra learned about a man named Antonio Veracalli who jumped off a bridge in Seneca Falls to save an Italian immigrant's life after she tried to commit suicide in 1917.
	The Italian immigrant who was trying to save her drowned in the process of saving the woman.
	And so it's important to note that in the original story That George Bailey never jumped from the bridge, but he did in the movie, after Frank Capra visited Seneca Falls and saw that true story.
	And so, that's the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say.
	But again, that's a 72nd anniversary of It's a Wonderful Life.
	And folks, if you want to keep us from being de-platformed altogether for dangerous information, telling you about the Federal Reserve, telling you about our foreign wars, telling you at the time about the TPP, it was the little man that they didn't care about, right?
	You saw that contempt for the little man embodied in J.P.

	And it was expressed in things not just like the Federal Reserve, but they were about to create The Trans-Pacific Partnership.

	I'm dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know We're going to talk about what's going on in terms of this budget fight.
	Where are we right now?
	What's likely to happen?
	You know, as we look at the criticism that came out, and I'm glad that people criticized President Trump for this.
	What came out of the White House, what Sarah Sanders said in terms of, well, okay, we don't have to have the $5 billion.
	Maybe we can get like the $1.5 billion.
	And they said, you're not getting anything.
	You're not getting a cent for this.
	And you're not going to shut the government down, and so forth.
	And it looked like the White House was caving.
	And President Trump was going wobbly.
	And you know what?
	When President Trump goes wobbly, when he starts to forget why he went there in the first place, That happens, especially when everybody around him is lying to him.
	And he takes some responsibility for that because he put a lot of liars and statists inside the cabinet.
	That may be to protect himself temporarily from some of these people, but he can't start believing these people.
	These people like Rex Tillerson, these people like Mattis, people like Lindsey Graham, people like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.
	You can't believe those people.
	You've got to realize and remember that they really are swamp creatures.
	You went there to defeat them, President Trump.
	Don't let them gaslight you.
	Don't let them lie to you.
	And so telling the truth to President Trump, when he is starting to do the wrong thing, is really supporting him.
	It really is.
	Faithful are the wounds of a friend, right?
	A friend, a real friend, is not going to say, yes, yes, do whatever you want.
	A real friend is going to say, hold you accountable.
	And that's what a lot of people did.
	And he has now been firmed up.
	And he is ready to take back power.
	And I think he's ready to bring home the troops.

	And if Mattis wants to leave, good.

	A fumble means that you've turned over the ball and deep in your territory.
	And that's what they're about to do.

	Ann Coulter and others on the right are blasting the president.
	Coulter says, among other things, her words not mine, the president's gutless.
	And she says he will lose re-election in 2020 if he kicks the can down the road.

	And it's not that he's gutless.
	They believe that he's getting bad advice.
	They know that he's promised not once, not Not twice, but three different times that he would get border wall funding, and here we are about to punt, and I would argue it's not a punt.
	A punt actually helps improve the field advantage.
	This is a fumble, and we need to make sure that the president stays firm, and a lot of people are very nervous this morning about whether the president will cave or not.
	Well, let's stay with the football analogy.
	I want to get to that fumble.
	Let's rewind the tape if we're going back to what happened on a Sunday.
	For two years, you and your colleagues have had control of the House.
	The Senate, you know, you had a majority, but it was slim.
	Why didn't you and your colleagues get new funding for the wall?
	And I don't mean little stuff.
	I mean big money.
	What did you do for the last two years?
	Well, we failed.
	We fumbled.
	And I can tell you that the President was exactly right on this.
	I talked to the President a week ago.
	And he says, Mark, what we need to do is go ahead and pass something out of the House.
	I got on the phone that morning.
	I talked to Leader McCarthy.
	I talked to Speaker Ryan.
	I said, let's go ahead and fund the wall.
	Whether it's $5 billion or $25 billion, let's go ahead and pass something out of the House.
	And you know what we heard from that?
	Nothing.
	We had more than 29 more Republicans than Democrats last week.
	We could have passed it, and we didn't.
	All right.
	Big things happen on December the 21st.
	They pass the Federal Reserve.
	Are we going to take back control of our country in one very important aspect, taking control of our borders?

	And you're going to have a much better standard of living, and then we'll send those ships back completely empty, because they don't buy anything from us.
	And everybody's, oh yeah, that'd be good.

	And you see how this has worked out now, in 25 years.
	And you still got the Potters telling us that lie.
	The Koch brothers.
	You've got libertarian and conservative trade organizations telling us that.
	Think tanks telling us that.
	Think tanks for people who can't think.

	And so now it goes to, you know, they've gotten past, you had Mark Meadows, And people stand up to Paul Ryan who's been able to keep the border open.
	That's been his objective since he first got into politics.
	That and making sure that we had government control of health care.
	That's why they picked him as Mitt Romney's running mate.
	Both Mitt and Paul Ryan were on the same page as Obama when it comes to an open border and Obamacare.
	Mitt Romney had already done it with Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts.
	Exactly the same thing.
	And Paul Ryan has kept any serious reform from that from happening.
	But as we look at where this goes from now, they say, well, Chuck Schumer says everyone knows it can't pass in the Senate.
	We'll see about that.
	We'll see about that.
	President Trump is going to hold Mitch McConnell's feet to the fire.
	He tweeted this out this morning.
	Senator Mitch McConnell should fight for the wall and border security as hard as he fought for anything.
	As hard, Mitch, as you fought for your friends and cronies to make them heads of these different bureaucracies and departments in Washington.
	As hard as you fight for the Koch brothers.
	Maybe you should fight for... Oh yeah, that's right.
	We're on to you, Mitch.
	Elaine Chao, his wife, head of the Department of Transportation in Washington.
	This is the guy, like Paul Ryan, who's a big part of the problem.
	President Trump said Mitch McConnell should fight for this as hard as he's fought for anything.
	Just assuming that he's acting honestly here.
	He'll need Democrat votes, but as shown in the House, good things can happen.
	If enough Democrats don't vote, It will be a Democrat shutdown.
	House Republicans were great yesterday.
	And he goes on to say, thank you to our great Republican members of Congress for your vote to fund border security on the wall.
	The final numbers were 217 to 185, and many have said that the enthusiasm was greater than they have ever seen before.
	So proud of you all.
	Now on to the Senate.
	President Trump shored up by the House Freedom Caucus.
	Listening to conservative voters being reminded of why he is there in Washington, and this is the moment folks This is the moment where there either happens, or it doesn't happen The president informed us that he will not sign the bill said Paul Ryan that was yesterday So we have very serious concerns about securing our border the president said I will not sign this bill So we're going to go back.
	We're going to work on adding border security to this Of course, it wasn't Paul Ryan who was doing that, it was Mark Meadows, the House Freedom Caucus, and Jim Jordan, people like that, they were pushing him.
	And then we hear good stuff now, coming from Sarah Huckabee Sanders, what we have been saying here, and other people have been saying over the last year and a half.
	About protecting our border instead of being an adventurous military force.
	Not just the policemen of the world, folks.
	We have become the unpaid mercenaries of the world under people like Mattis.
	Still pushing for that.
	Under people like Lindsey Graham and John McCain and so forth.
	Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Press Secretary, said we protect nations all over the world.
	But Democrats are unwilling to protect our nation.
	We urgently need funding for border security, and that includes a wall.
	It's not just the wall, folks.
	Understand that Democrats want a completely open border.
	Not only do they not want to have any physical security at the border, they don't want ICE to exist either.
	So if somebody gets across the border, And, you know, the few Border Patrol agents that we've got, they get past them.
	Then, if they're found out to be here illegally, they don't want ICE to do anything about it.
	We've got entire sanctuary states, cities, and so forth.
	Austin is a sanctuary city.
	Come here!
	We're going to let you vote.
	We're going to give you money, welfare, big magnet to bring everybody in.
	That's what the Democrats want.
	They want voters.
	And the Republicans want cheap labor.
	He didn't get just $5 billion, he got $5.7 billion and there were no strings attached, reports Breitbart.
	The funding gives the Trump administration free reign to choose which barriers Homeland Security wants to build at the southern border.
	But of course it has to be approved by both the House and the Senate.
	And that's where the issue is.
	And the Senate.
	And so, as Politico points out, Jim Jordan said, all I know is that just one week ago, Nancy Pelosi was in the Oval Office.
	She said the House can't pass funding with the border security dollars on it, but we just got 217 votes for that bill.
	But what happens when it goes to the Senate?
	Well, you've got a Republican Senator, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson.
	uh... he said at least half of the republicans had gone home and that they've been given notice that they will be called back to washington dc but ron johnson the senator from wisconsin said i'm going back to wisconsin it's kind of a ghost town around here now that's when things get done and he's not the only one bob corker
	As Gateway Pundit puts it in their headline, gives the middle finger to Americans taking off for Chattanooga today.
	He will not vote to support our borders.
	The bill is now headed to the Senate where it has to pass with 60 votes unless McConnell goes nuclear and uses just 51 votes to pass the bill.
	Let's understand this.
	It's not going nuclear.
	There is nothing in the Constitution that says that you need 60 votes for this.
	This was a general rule that was done internally by the Senate a few decades ago or whatever.
	I don't remember when they put it in.
	It wasn't that long ago.
	They decided they would start doing 60 votes and so forth.
	But you don't need to have 60 votes.
	You can do it with 51.
	And it is only a lack of will not to do that.
	He suspends it all the time.
	We've had Democrats suspend it.
	They were the ones first doing it.
	Schumer.
	And McConnell could do it as well.
	But Bob Corker, who is leaving, he was badly trounced by President Trump.
	He knew he wasn't going to get re-elected.
	President Trump didn't go to his farewell party, so now he's throwing a tantrum, as they point out, gateway pundit, and heading home.
	Because this is his way of attacking President Trump.
	He doesn't care what happens to the country.
	It's all, for Corker, about making President Trump look bad.
	And that's really the bottom line.
	Yeah, it really is a middle finger to the American people.
	We're not going to have a country if we don't have a border.
	And it's not just the wall.
	That's one aspect of it.
	If they get into it, we have to have a physical barrier, we have to have the military at the border until they build the wall because we've got a caravan or more being caught each week.
	That's not counting all the people who get passed.
	The border patrol.
	And then, of course, they don't want to throw him out.
	They want to get rid of ICE.
	And then once they get in, they get into the Democrat judicial system.
	And you've got to have unanimous support from every single little federal judge to anything that President Trump does under his lawful duty.

	Spending our lives, our blood, and our treasure to do regime change.
	And of course, this is nothing new.
	It's just been carried to absurd extremes.
	We had Smedley Butler talk about how the big businesses of his day, the fruit companies, were pushing us into different areas of Central and South America where he was fighting as a Marine General to overthrow their government so they could get a regime in there that was going to be friendly to their fruit business.
	That's where we get the idea of banana republics.
	And he said war Fought for any reason other than protecting our home and the Bill of Rights is nothing other than a racket.
	It is organized crime.
	But it's a racket, like the Clinton Foundation is a racket.
	And we've had enough of it, quite frankly.
	And I'm very happy to see President Trump reverse this.
	I think it got up to a peak this week.
	You know, at the same time Sarah Sanders is signaling weakness and caving from the White House in terms of what they're willing to accept.

	And then it comes out from the State Department that they're, you guys can't have a little five billion dollars, again, out of four trillion dollar budget, one-eighth of one percent.
	You can't have that.
	Not even one-eighth of one percent to protect our country.
	But we're going to give twice that amount of money To the people who are invading our country, in Mexico, in Central America.
	We're going to give them over 10 billion dollars, said the swamp creatures at Foggy Bottom, the State Department.
	And I think when you look at that back-to-back failure and you had, it set all of us for paying attention.
	On fire.
	And it set the House Freedom Caucus on fire.
	And I think now President Trump has awakened.
	He says, alright, that's it.
	Not only are we going to protect this country, but we're going to stop this nonsense of foreign intervention and regime change and endless wars.
	You know, we can go in and we can take out a bad guy.
	We've got a great military.
	And we can defeat people like Saddam Hussein, who used to be our ally, right?
	We can defeat people like Manuel Noriega, who used to be our ally.
	That's the problem with making allies out of these tyrants and criminal thugs.
	Still doing that with people like Mohammed bin Salman and so forth.
	Or Erdogan in Turkey.
	That's the problem with making allies with people who are thugs.
	Picking a side.
	I mean, take a look at Turkey for example.
	We're going to be talking to Mark Hall in the next hour about what's going on in Turkey.
	Because Turkey's at the center of all this.
	Turkey was involved in the Flynn stuff.
	Turkey is involved in what's going on in Syria.
	They're a threat to the PKK that's there and so forth.
	They're triangulating between the United States and Russia.
	Turkey's in the center of all this.
	Turkey and a Muslim cleric from Turkey, Fethullah Gulen, protected by the deep state elements that were trying to throw President Trump out of office, is getting nearly a billion dollars in charter school money to educate your children.
	This guy wants to establish a global caliphate operating under Sharia law.
	Now Erdogan, who is opposed to him because they're both fighting for control of Turkey and then both of them want to be in control of a global caliphate.
	So you look at this situation, it's like, who am I going to pick in this situation?
	I'm going to go for Erdogan or for Fethullah Gulen?
	I say neither.
	You don't support either of these guys.
	But that's the kind of calculus that we always get involved in.
	So we go in, we can take out one of these guys and put another one in power.
	But then we stay there and you start to have this war of attrition And every one of these wars, these occupying wars, we're trying to do nation building, we're trying to occupy them, have been a resounding failure.
	They call it asymmetric warfare because, you know, we have all the big guns and so forth, and we can take out a conventional military, but we cannot win asymmetric warfare.
	Can't win it.
	Haven't done it.
	They haven't figured that out.
	And so now we go to General Mattis, who has resigned.
	In his resignation letter, That he writes.
	It is trumpeted by all the press and said, oh, like Bloomberg is cheering it.
	Mattis eviscerates Trump's worldview in his blunt resignation letter.
	CNN crows, Jim Mattis's resignation letter is absolutely stunning rejection of Trumpism.
	It is.
	It is.
	He was never one of us.
	He's not playing on the same team.
	And this is why it's so distressing.
	For many of us.
	I've complained about the people that President Trump has brought in and put around him.
	You've got Goldman Sachs bankers.
	You're not going to be able to get rid of the Federal Reserve if you've got Goldman Sachs bankers.
	If you surround yourself with generals and put yourself under their control, where they're going to be filtering the information that you get, like John Kelly, where they're going to be lying to you, like Mattis, because he's a globalist.
	You're not going to get rid of our permanent involvement elsewhere.
	If you're going to have somebody who is pushing the man-made climate change agenda like Rex Tillerson, he's going to try to keep you in the Paris Climate Accord.
	You've got to get rid of these people!
	Don't bring these people into the administration!
	Personnel is policy because of that reason.
	You can't get somebody in there that is adamantly opposed to what you want to do.
	Who has ties to the other side.
	Let's understand, these people are a fifth column.
	They don't have loyalty to America.
	They have loyalty to a world government, a view, a new world order that they're trying to create.
	They think, maybe the best of them, think that America is going to be the leader of the new world order.
	Now it's going to be China.
	You're working for China ultimately when you do this.
	People like Mattis.
	People like CNN.
	People like Bloomberg.
	And so, yes, it is a rejection of everything that President Trump stands for.
	It's a rejection of everything that people who voted for President Trump voted for.
	And so in Secretary Mattis' resignation, for example, he says in the third paragraph, one core belief I've always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships.
	That is not what America is about.
	That is not America's strength.
	General Mattis, Secretary Mattis, stands diametrically opposed to George Washington who said we will have no entangling foreign alliances.
	These people are in a perpetual state of war.
	And only a Hessian mercenary like Mattis would push that kind of idea on the American people.
	He would have eviscerated George Washington, if he could have.
	That is antithetical to everything that this country was about.
	The understanding of the founders of this country, they did not want to be involved in the eternal wars of Europe.
	They did not want to go abroad seeking monsters to destroy.
	Even the most statist of them, like Adams, John Adams, did not want to do that.
	And they understood that the weapons of defense abroad would be brought back as instruments of tyranny if we had a standing army.
	These people would get to the point where all they wanted to do was to perpetuate war.
	And Jim Mattis is a creature of that system.

	Alright, let's take a look at this Mattis resignation letter that eviscerates the Trump worldview and refudeates it as they say in Bloomberg and CNN.
	As I said, his core belief, he says, one core belief I've always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships.
	No, that is not America first.
	Absolutely is not America first.
	He goes on to say, like you, I have said from the beginning that the armed forces of the United States should not be policemen of the world.
	Instead, we should be using all the tools of American power to provide for the common defense, including things like NATO's 29 democracies.
	Here's a reality, General Mattis, and you know it well.
	You can talk about the 29 nations of NATO, and they keep trying to stuff in these little former Baltic states that, you know, with a gross domestic product smaller than Austin, Texas, but they're not contributing to the defense.
	NATO is the United States.
	The point that President Trump was making and a point of contention between President Trump and General Mattis in the past Was the fact that we're paying the whole bill!
	All of the soldiers, all of the equipment, it is our blood, it's American blood and American money that NATO is about.
	We dominate that because the Europeans don't pull up their shirt.
	We're talking about the big countries like Germany!
	Let alone all these little Balkan states that they have carved in.
	They used to be part of the Warsaw Pact.
	And what is the mission of NATO?
	To fight ISIS, was that it?
	Or is it as a counter to the Warsaw Pact, which no longer exists?
	As a counter to the Soviet Union, which no longer exists?
	And so, he can talk about, you know, oh, it's not America going alone, and we shouldn't be the policemen of the world, we got NATO that we're a part of!
	Come on!
	Come on!
	You think we're that stupid, General Mattis?
	Bloomberg thinks you're that stupid.
	CNN thinks you're that stupid.
	I don't think you're that stupid.
	You understand by now that we are NATO.
	And then it goes on, and then we have the defeat ISIS coalition of 74 nations.
	It's like, that's the first time I've heard about that.
	I'm sorry, I don't see anybody fighting ISIS in Syria except for the US, Russia, and the Syrian government itself, because the Syrian government doesn't want them there.
	Other than those three nations, I don't see anybody fighting against ISIS.
	You can talk a little bit about the small contributions of the UK and France, but again, it doesn't matter.
	It doesn't matter.
	There isn't a coalition of 74 nations that are out there to defeat ISIS.
	This is gaslighting of the American public being put out there by Mattis.
	He came up with this very long letter pretty quickly.
	Because he'd been writing this for quite some time.
	I'm going to go back to the history era and talk about what happened today, what people are saying today, what people were saying a month ago, what people were saying two months ago, three months ago, and seven months ago, what we just learned Mattis was doing in terms of political maneuvering for the presidency.
	Let's go back and look at this timeline of how we got to this point of this long resignation that refutes America First.
	He goes on to say, You have, or he, we must do everything possible to advance an international order.
	Okay.
	End of story for me.
	Sorry Mattis, you're not wanted in Washington.
	You should not be a part of the Trump administration.
	Finally he goes on to say, because you have the right to a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it's right for me to step down from my position.
	That's about the only thing I agree with him on in this letter.
	And I hope that President Trump, you will not put more people like this in your administration without figuring out if they're on your team or not.
	He's playing for the other side.
	He could be the Defense Secretary for Emmanuel Macron or for Angela Merkel, but not for you.
	You don't want more people like Mattis in your cabinet.
	We don't need, you deserve to have, and the American people who voted for you, President Trump, deserve to have somebody who shares your views, who shares an America First view, not the idea that we're going to advance an international order, that we're going to entangle ourselves in every conflict around the globe.
	We have become involved.
	As Pat Buchanan has said for so many times, we have tripwires.
	Set up everywhere in the world, so that if anybody, any Hatfield shoots any McCoy, we get right there in the middle of the feud.
	And the sad thing about it is, that in the feuds that we get into, there's not a good Hatfield or a good McCoy.
	Both of them are people that we shouldn't be aligned with.
	And yet we get into the thick of it, taking sides, or in most cases, we sell weapons to each of them.
	That's what the military industrial complex wants!
	That's the absurdity of all this.
	And so yeah, we have a right to have somebody who puts America's values first and that would not be Jim Mattis.
	And you can see it in his letter here.
	So how did we get to this point today?
	We have Yahoo headline, Mattis puts Trump's presidency in peril.
	That's it!
	You know, I mean, if he doesn't agree with America First, if he doesn't agree with President Trump, then President Trump's presidency is in peril.
	Mattis never agreed with President Trump on this.
	Only the failure, which has now been corrected, is the failure to vet him.
	The failure to do a background check on him.
	The failure to do due diligence on putting people in your cabinet.
	You've got to pay attention to this.
	I mean, when he put in Rex Tillerson, I was tweeting crazily about that.
	I said, look at this guy.
	He's part of this pedophile agenda.
	Look at what he's done to the Boy Scouts.
	Look at what he has pushed at Exxon.
	He's pushing this man-made climate change agenda stuff.
	You don't want somebody like this in their Secretary of State.
	And we saw how that turned out.
	Saw how it turned out with Mattis.
	Everybody's saying, what's going on?
	Why do we have Mattis and Kelly?
	Why do we have these Goldman Sachs bankers and the economic side of this stuff?
	This is a prescription for disaster, a prescription for control.
	And so a month ago, so now they're saying Mattis puts the Trump presidency in peril.
	But a month ago, the headline on Yahoo was a time for General Mattis to move on.
	And they're even talking about who his replacement should be.
	This is not something that is new.
	Two months ago, Foreign Policy, not an America First organization, who will replace Mattis?
	Trump signals in an interview that his Defense Secretary might be out.
	This is October the 15th.
	Rumors have circulated for months that U.S.
	President Trump is souring on Defense Secretary James Mattis and wants to replace him with someone more in line with his views.
	I now have people on standby that will be phenomenal, he told Leslie Stahl.
	Remember that interview?
	She pressed him on it.
	He didn't say with any certainty that Mattis would leave at any time soon, but he also did not deny it.
	And then, as they point out in Foreign Policy, he twisted the knife.
	He said, speaking of Mattis, I think he's sort of a Democrat, if you know the truth, and he may leave.
	Yes, he is, quite frankly.
	He is sort of a Democrat.
	He is sort of a warmonger.
	He is sort of a neocon.
	He is sort of a globalist.
	He is sort of a swamp creature.
	And that was two months ago.
	That was October the 15th.
	Go back another five weeks before that, the beginning of September, that's when we had Bob Woodward's book came out.
	And in that, Bob Woodward was saying that Secretary Mattis was trash-talking Trump to him, saying that Trump acted like and had the understanding of a fifth or sixth grader.
	Mattis issued a statement saying that was totally fiction.
	So he didn't say it, but that made Trump angry, I think.
	Speculation about who replaces Mattis is now more real than ever, said a senior White House official, because it had already been talked about before that.
	Reportedly, going back to, again, the first week of September, September the 6th, reportedly at the top of the short list of possible Mattis replacements, they said at the time, was Jack Keane.
	This was Talking Points Memo saying that.
	But the Washington Post was putting out names like Tom Cotton and Lindsey Graham.
	My wife heard on the radio, she was driving, she said, I heard the BBC saying they thought that the top three possible replacements were either Tom Cotton, Lindsey Graham, or Petraeus.
	And I said, what?
	Lindsey Graham?
	I mean, look at what's going on with Syria.
	I said, I don't think so.
	Where'd they get that?
	They got that from the Washington Post.
	But President Trump deserves to have somebody that shares his views.
	That shares his views of America first.
	And that would not be people like Petraeus.
	Or Tom Cotton.
	Or Lindsey Graham.
	No neocons, no globalists, no America last people this time.

	Let's take a look at some of these reactions that people are having.
	We have, you know, everybody is guessing as to who the replacement will be, but it is nothing new, as I pointed out.
	We have had people talking a month ago, November the 18th, time for Mattis to move on.
	We had two months before that, Trump signals an interview that his Defense Secretary might be out.
	Yeah, he's sort of a Democrat, he said.
	No, he's sort of a globalist.
	Sort of opposed to everything that we voted for in Trump.
	Again, reading from his resignation letter.
	Things like his core belief is that we've got to have a system of alliances.
	Folks, that's foreign alliances.
	That's anathema to the founders of this country.
	Anathema to a free and independent country.
	We want to be like Switzerland.
	It's not the Byzantine Republic, which is really what we've... It wasn't a republic.
	Empire.
	The Byzantine was not an empire.
	That was a republic that was an empire.
	And we have become that.
	A bureaucratic empire.
	And this guy is an example of that bureaucratic empire.
	Again, NATO.
	He says, oh, we don't want to be the policeman of the world.
	We got things like NATO.
	We got a 74-nation coalition to defeat ISIS.
	I'm sorry, you don't.
	That is nothing but a PR ploy.
	We are NATO.
	NATO is nothing but an entangling alliance that we were warned about by the people who founded this country.
	NATO is nothing but a tripwire to get us involved in every little conflict.

	We see the funerals of McCain, the funerals of George H.W.
	Bush, the resignation letter of Secretary Mattis.

	Replacements for Mattis.
	But here's where it really began, folks.
	Even before the letter, and that may be the letter, the book, Fear.
	It was put out by Bob Woodward.
	And it may be that Mattis did say that trash about President Trump and kind of laying a groundwork for undermining Trump and building himself up to run for president.
	Because as I reported in the first hour, Gateway Pundit has obtained a memo, a non-disclosure agreement that was sent to a lot, multiple political consulting firms in Washington.
	Mattis, seven months ago, back in May, was sending out feelers to these political consultants.
	What if I ran against Trump in 2020?
	Oh, you'd do pretty well, they said, except for it'd be a little bit awkward if you run against the guy that you've been his Secretary of Defense for.
	And so maybe you ought to wait until 2024.
	That might be better.
	Unless things change.
	Hmm.
	Well, let's see.
	That was seven months ago.
	And then three months ago we had a book come out from Bob Woodward where he's trash-talking President Trump and then creates friction and then he leaves and says I'm sorry but you know we've got to support NATO and globalism and I'm not on board with you and so forth and so now he's a free agent and now he is being celebrated because he trash-talked President Trump.
	He's being celebrated by the establishment press By the neocons in the Republican Party and especially by the Democrats.

	Aside from Syria, Mattis and Trump have reportedly clashed over a host of foreign policy issues, including the US-NATO relationship, where nobody's paying their fair share, except for the United States.
	That's a figment, again, of Mattis' imagination to think that we've got a NATO alliance that's out there fighting ISIS.
	It's an entanglement, it's not an alliance.
	Military exercises in South Korea, and Trump's decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal.
	See, he wanted to stay in there with the Iran nuclear deal as well.
	It's not the first time they've had this.
	Yeah, he is a globalist.
	He is an America last guy.
	He is one of these people who see themselves as mercenaries for the New World Order.
	And their policies have now been shown to be failures, just like the So-called free trade policies that we've been given by the Wall Street people, the Koch brothers, the Republican neocon think tanks, the people like Bill Kristol and his failing weekly standard.
	Again, you spell that W-E-A-K-L-Y.
	It was always weak in terms of its arguments and now they have disappeared and good riddance to the neocons.
	Get them out of the Republican Party.
	Put them in the Democrat Party, the War Party, where they belong.
	We don't want to make the Republican Party the war party.
	We need to have a party that stands for America first, that stands for not having these alliances and so forth, that stands for peace.

	He was always the whining liberal.
	The way that show was constructed, if you remember, Archie Bunker Norman Lear thought that he would do a cartoon caricature of conservative people.
	Which today, you know, your typical person that they would call racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, all this.
	They're going to vilify people with this cartoon summary characterized by Archie Bunker.
	And then they were going to have Rob Reiner play the son-in-law who was enlightened.
	And he was going to educate Archie Bunker.
	And then to his surprise, he found that everybody identified with Archie Bunker.
	And nobody could stand Rob Reiner, the Meathead.
	But he's out there still doing this, and here's what the Meathead has to say about coming home from these forever wars.
	You know, actually, if you went back to the 70s when they did that, you probably would have had the Meathead lecturing Archie Bunker About getting out of Vietnam.
	We don't belong there.
	It's not our war.
	We don't want to be in wars forever.
	There's no clear victory that we have defined.
	We haven't defined what we're there for.
	We haven't defined what the end point is.
	How long are we going to be there?
	Are we going to be there forever?
	We got drug into this on a false flag and so forth under false pretenses.
	We got a government that has absolutely no intention of trying to win this thing.
	They go in and win a battle and then they walk away from the territory that they've won.
	After it cost us the lives and blood of other people.
	His character would have been arguing the other side of this now.
	But now the Democrats have become the war party on all this and he's coming out saying Trump is committing treason against the United States of America.
	Why, says Rob Reiner, the meathead?
	He is abating and abetting the enemy in the war against ISIS and the cyber war against Russia.
	Well, meathead, the real cyber war is with China.
	You don't even know who the enemy is.
	We know who the enemy is.
	It's people like Rob Reiner.
	He's a youthful idiot.

	Anyway, we look at what happened in Syria this spring.
	The white helmets coming in as there was a massive bombing campaign and people were coming in and eventually it was uncovered.
	By a journalist who actually went there, speaking the language, talked to the White Hats.
	Not the White Hats, they were all out.
	No, that's not who it was.
	I can't remember the guy's name.
	I asked the crew to look up his name.
	I forget who the journalist was, but it was a British journalist.
	Anyway, he came in and he talked to the doctors and said, yeah, we're treating people for massive dust and smoke inhalation because it was such an intense bombing campaign.
	It was like 9-11 with the buildings collapsing and so forth.
	And he said, yeah, this guy with a white helmet came in and he started screaming, they're using nerve gas!
	And it created a panic.
	Well, it's not just a false flag that they've been doing.
	As RT reports, they're not a rescue group.
	They are an extension of the jihadist militants.
	And of course, they all left as part of that.
	But if you want to know people who have been aiding and abetting the enemy, Rob Reiner, you need to go back and take a look at people like John McCain that everybody was just celebrating when he said, we've got to arm the Syrian rebels so we can shoot down Russian airplanes.
	Or you can go back and look at what he had to say about the meetings and how Hillary Clinton and the State Department wanted to use Al Qaeda to take out Syria.

	He was being interviewed by Neil Cavuto and John McCain said in 2015, about three years ago, October 2015, he was asked about whether he would shoot down Russian planes.

	And he says, no, no, but maybe we'll let the Syrian rebels do that.
	He says, I might do what we did in Afghanistan many years ago.
	To give those guys the ability to shoot down those planes.

	And if you remember, I've talked about this before, John McCain, when he was a young congressman, going back to the 1980s, they did exactly that.
	They created the Mujahideen.
	And they became Al-Qaeda.
	Then Al-Qaeda became ISIS.
	That's the pedigree.

	Maybe you don't remember that.

	And that's exactly what they did in Afghanistan.
	They used the Mujahideen.
	As a matter of fact, John McCain would come to Republican fundraisers with rich Republican women and he would bring some of these guys in with him.

	And he had the, you know, you could give them money.
	He called it adopting a Muj.
	That's what the rich Republican women would say.
	No, let's adopt a Muj.
	Yeah, let's adopt an Al Qaeda terrorist.

	And so that's what he was still pushing three years ago there.

	Hillary Clinton has described already the meeting in the White House over two years ago.
	Everyone in the national security team recommended arming ISIS.
	And the President, by himself, turned it down.
	Just like, by himself, he decided not to strike Syria after he said that they'd crossed the red line.

	If the President and John Kerry keep talking about coalitions, how are you going to form coalition?
	With people who do not trust you.
	Who know you are totally unreliable.
	First, there has to be a restoration of American credibility.
	You hear that?
	He said, Hillary Clinton and the National Security Team, they wanted to arm ISIS.
	They said President Obama turned it down.
	He was unreliable.
	He was vacillating.
	John McCain was not criticizing Hillary Clinton and the National Security Establishment for wanting to arm ISIS.
	He was criticizing Obama for purportedly getting in the way of that.
	But he didn't do it enough.
	We've got report after report after report showing, oh look at this, we just dropped a bunch of weapons here and then forgot about them being there and we walked away.
	And they fell into the hands of ISIS.
	It's like they were given to them directly.
	Come on!
	We got people coming from Chechnya saying, yeah, I was picked up by the CIA and I was dropped in there.
	President Trump stopped the CIA from doing that.
	He actually used the US military to fight ISIS.
	And now he says, you know, they've now defeated.
	But it was the Obama administration, it was Hillary Clinton, it was John McCain who were arming ISIS.
	And he criticized them for not doing it enough.
	We got the pictures of them there, right there, that picture, where he met with the terrorists.
	And Lindsey Graham is right there with him.
	Lindsey Graham is pushing that kind of stuff as well.
	And now Lindsey Graham is saying if we walk away from this, this is a failure like Obama.
	Does he mean it's a failure like John McCain criticized Obama for not supporting ISIS enough?
	See, these are the real people who are aiding and abetting ISIS.
	It's the people like Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham.
	And here's Lindsey Graham talking about how if we leave now instead of staying there forever, this is like Obama's failure.

	This came out of left field to me.
	Congress hasn't been informed of this decision.
	Congress needs to call the administration over like we did in Iraq and ask the Trump administration, what are you doing and why?
	The one thing I can assure everybody, that the Kurds are at risk.

	We're going to be seen as having abandoned an ally.

	So here we are, we got the neocons now flipping out over the fact that Rob Reiner is saying we are aiding and abetting ISIS, looking the other way when his beloved Hillary Clinton did it, looking the other way when everybody in the Obama administration was doing it.
	Lindsey Graham saying it was a failure by Obama not to be tough enough.
	We know we should have sent in.
	We should have been the Air Force of Al-Qaeda.
	We know they gave him every excuse they could.
	They mounted false flag attacks on an annual basis.
	Every spring they would have the narrative as Syria and Russia and the United States were closing in on these Al-Qaeda strongholds.
	say, look at this, you know, we got a, we just had them as they were, you know, knocking Al Qaeda out of this city, they decided at the last minute that they would gas everybody so that we would have an excuse to send troops in.
	I mean, it absolutely made no sense, as we pointed out.
	You know, when they are winning, when Assad is taking back his country and ISIS is packing their bags, then he would gas the people there.
	So he would invite involvement from the UK, from France, from the military industrial complex here in the United States.
	Of course it was nonsense, of course it was a false flag and they did it on an annual basis and then this last year they stepped it up with a false flag attack in the UK pretending that it was the Russians who were poisoning A double agent who had been there for years.
	And therefore, because the Russians are also in Syria fighting ISIS, we need to go fight the Russians who are fighting ISIS.
	This is the insanity.
	And Rob Reiner is saying that President Trump is a traitor.
	No, you know who's a traitor?
	The people who arm and communicate and meet with ISIS.
	People like John McCain.
	People who are openly saying, as you just heard him, we should arm ISIS.
	What's the matter?
	The National Security Council wants to do it.
	And Hillary Clinton wants to do it.
	And it was John McCain, again, coming out yet again.
	John McCain Foundation Executive David Kramer passed the infamous Golden Shower dossier to BuzzFeed in early 2017.
	We keep hearing this, keep seeing the details over and over again.
	We knew that John McCain was at the center of this false flag attack to try to take down President Trump.
	The same people who are doing, pushing these false flag attacks in Syria so they could draw us into a deeper presence there, a deeper war and try to get us to be the air force of Al Qaeda.

	Very quietly, Washington Post and other establishment media were saying, we occupy a third of the country, about the size of Louisiana.
	We've got all of our troops in a very dangerous position, surrounded by hostile forces on all sides.
	Part of the hostility is coming from Turkey against the PKK, that they don't like.
	It's a very, very complicated situation.

	For those of you who don't know Mark, we've interviewed Mark before to talk about his film, Killing Ed.
	And again, you can find him on Twitter at both Mark Hall Film and also at Killing Ed Film.
	And Mark did a great documentary, how long has it been?
	Two or three years ago?
	We released that film in March of 2016 in theaters in Manhattan in New York.
	Okay, yeah, killing it.
	Excellent documentary.
	If you haven't seen it, you really should educate yourself.
	It goes over, really, what the worst case example is for charter schools.
	Like, I'm all for choice in education.
	The problem is, is that when you start to filter that money through the political system, some nasty things can happen.
	So you can get some corrupt big corporations come in, and they can buy influence of the politicians who have the purse strings, but you can also have the worst case situation, which is what we've got with the Glennist movement, and Mark was tireless in documenting that, and what he found
	Well, so we have a Turkish cleric, an imam, who has a worldwide network of schools and he is getting a tremendous amount of taxpayer money to run these charter schools and there have been a lot of investigations.
	A lot of allegations about corruption inside the Gulenist movement.
	He is the archenemy of the current president of Turkey, Erdogan.
	And what is the subsidy up to right now, Mark?
	Well, we estimate that there are in excess of 173 taxpayer finance charter schools in the United States now.
	That grows every year by five or six.
	We think that there's over $729 million each year.
	given by the taxpayers to the Gulen movement charter schools.
	This doesn't include other money that they get from the federal government or grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, etc. So it's closing in on a billion dollars a year.
	Now I have to say some of that money is used to run the schools, there's no doubt about it.
	There are American teachers at the schools, there are many many Turkish teachers on H-1B's there, but you know we think that between 20 and 30 percent of that amount of that 700 to a billion dollars is being skimmed off for non-educational goals, for political goals of this Islamist cult.
	Yeah, yeah.
	And of course, even in terms of the H-1B visa issue, That is something, as you pointed out in your film, that was concerning to a lot of people because you had some American teachers who were coming in and saying, well, they're bringing these people in from Turkey and we just discovered that they're paying quite a bit more than they're paying the teachers here in America.
	Typically, they use these B visas to get people that are cheaper labor.
	But they're paying them quite a bit more, and they weren't necessarily very well educated in the subjects that they were supposed to be teaching, science and math.
	Well, that's correct.
	I mean, many, many teachers came in on H-1B visas from Turkey that were followers of Imam Fethullah Gulen, in excess of 5,000 H-1Bs over the past 10 years.
	Wow.
	And they come in and they're supposed to be paid a local market rate, but what happens is they agree to something called a TÜZÜK.
	Which is sort of the bylaws of the Gulen movement before they leave Turkey.
	When they come to the United States, they're given, let's say, $40,000 a year as salary, but it's understood that they're only going to be paid, let's say, $28,000 a year.
	The excess money goes in cash to the Gulen movement and their headquarters in Salersburg, Pennsylvania.
	Wow.
	Which is kind of what you'd expect.
	I mean, when you look at the situation, and they're paid multiples of what the Americans are, the market rate for the teachers, you know, typically when you look at why big corporations like Disney would bring in foreign labor, because they could get them a lot cheaper.
	They tell the Americans, you train these guys, or you don't get any severance pay.
	So, that's typically the business model.
	That's why the corporations are pushing for these B visas, so they can get cheaper labor in.
	But even if it's a job that they can't find somebody, they can't find anybody to teach, let's say, math in the United States, which we know is not the case, you would expect them to not pay quite a bit more.
	So, it's not surprising to find that these accusations that they're kicking the money back.
	Well, and the argument that you hear from politicians that support the Gulen movement or support charter schools is, we don't have enough STEM teachers.
	We don't have enough science or math teachers in our schools.
	We need to find more and we need to bring them in from overseas, including Turkey.
	But when you look at some of these teachers that have been brought in from Turkey that are Gulen movement members, they don't have certifications really in anything.
	In many cases, they haven't taught anything at all.
	And they're oftentimes, as portrayed in Killing Ed, my film about the Gulen movement, they're brought in thinking that they're going to work on an IT project and then they're put in a classroom to teach children and they don't know how to do it.
	They're not often very conversant in our language, in the English language, and it becomes a real problem for the kids, for the parents.
	Which also, I mean, you don't really think of Turkey as being a leader in science and technology.
	Well, why would we be importing teachers from there if we don't have teachers there?
	We're importing them from Turkey.
	But, again, it leads to a question beyond corruption.
	What is the goal, you know, besides, you know, we can get this, we can bring people in, we can get kickbacks from them.
	What, though, is the real goal of the Gulenist movement?
	Well, I think it's to expand their particular belief system, which is, in many views of mainline Sunni Muslims, is a cult group.
	They have a kind of syncretic Islamic belief system.
	They use the schools not to overtly press upon students Islam.
	But in a kind of covert manner, they do get additional followers from the students through extracurricular activities, through going on camping trips, going on other things where, you know, these Turkish male teachers take younger boys off overnight or for late night things.
	And it's believed that that's, you know, that's how they've expanded.
	The Gulen movement, not only in the United States, but elsewhere.
	And you'll see people on Facebook that are, let's say, non-Turk Americans, who truly believe in Hizmet now.
	You're starting to see that.
	And the real question is, as we know, back in 2016, right after we released Killing Ed, there was a very violent coup in Turkey.
	And in my learned opinion, that coup was initiated by Fethullah Gulen and the Gulen movement.
	There's been more and more evidence that proves that.
	And so, you know, the question is, why are we supporting an anti-democratic movement with our tax dollars, through our school system, that would overthrow Turkey?
	Now, you can say we have problems both with Erdogan and other people in other countries in the Middle East, but the fact of the matter is, Fethullah Gulen and his followers are no antidote to the current government in Turkey.
	Yeah, absolutely.
	Yeah, it was three years ago today.
	That I, uh, that the, uh, Erdogan, uh, government was beginning, uh, lawsuits against Vitalik Gulen.
	I reported on that and I recapped some of the stories that we'd had.
	And within a couple of weeks, we had our site here hacked.
	And they put up a story with my name.
	I hardly ever write an article at InfoWars.com with my name saying that there'd been a successful coup against Erdogan.
	And then a few months later, actually tried to pull that off.

	Of course, he has done a documentary on charter school.
	You have to understand, folks, when we talk about our children, we're talking about sending them to school.
	When you go to school, you're not just getting science and math, which is the way the Gulenist movement operates.
	It's like, oh, we got all these schools of science and math and so forth.
	It's not just about reading and writing.
	It's really about culture.
	It's about values.
	It's really ultimately, too, about religion.
	Those things can be conveyed without being done explicitly.
	And, of course, a charter school is not going to be allowed in the United States to openly talk about religion.
	But, of course, Mark, they do do that elsewhere.
	In other countries, the Glennist movement, and he's got how many worldwide?
	It's over a thousand a couple of years ago when I was looking at it.
	Absolutely.
	It's well over 1,000.
	At last count, it was 1,200, but quite a few of those have been closed, of course, in Turkey after the coup.
	The government has attempted to purge Turkey of the Gulenist schools, as well as Gulen movement members that were in the military, the judiciary, and the police force.
	Yeah, he was quite embedded with a lot of people in high places, and that brings this up too.
	But before we do, real quickly, when I'm talking about education, and this is why it's very important for people to understand, we're talking about charter schools or anything else.
	It's one of the reasons why I homeschooled my kids, because I want to know what they are being taught.
	It's not just religion, it's also the culture, the values.
	Think about how secular humanists have taken over the schools, are preaching environmentalism to your kids, preaching the kind of preoccupation with outing everybody as racist, or the political correctness that we see rampant in the schools.
	Values are taught, whether it's religion or not, and all those are really You pull the culture, you pull the value together, you really got kind of a religious worldview that's being taught, whether it's being done implicitly or explicitly, whether it is de facto or, you know, it's just kind of working in its way there.
	And so that's why it's very important for us to be aware of what is being taught in the schools, to be aware of who these people are, but they are also This particular movement, just like I would say many of the people on the left who have taken over the schools and universities who are Americans, these people from Turkey also have a political agenda.
	They're very political about what they're doing, and it's very directed, just like many of these people in the environmentalist movement that have taken over many aspects of our schools.
	If you don't mind, it's important to point out that the Gulen movement is about 8 million followers of Fethullah Gulen, who now lives in Pennsylvania for some reason.
	We have to wonder why he's been protected and is staying there in a very nice compound of 200 or 300 people in the Poconos.
	But you have to understand that that's a small segment of Turkish society.
	There's many Turks that have really been oppressed by the Gulen movement, just as many people here in the United States are seeing that type of oppression from this cult group.
	And it's just a really strange thing to think that here in Texas, where we're sitting today, That there's 62 of these schools earning over $300 million a year from our taxes and they're actively teaching our kids.
	Over 80,000 students in their schools now in the United States.
	And as you say, it doesn't necessarily take an overt discussion of beliefs or culture.
	They're not teaching them the Quran, but they are teaching them the culture and they're having junkets to take these top students to Turkey and so forth.
	It used to be the case that they were taking many people over to Turkey, many students each year, many politicians.
	You know, the politicians are a part of this too.
	Oh yeah.
	And they've received a tremendous amount of support through campaign donations, etc.
	from the Gulen movement.
	And that's why it seems as though they're protected in places like Texas.
	And Republican politicians.
	Absolutely.
	That's the problem with getting the government involved in education because it is corruptible when you do that.
	It doesn't matter which group you're talking about.
	But I want people to actually see Fatala Gulen and hear what he has to say in his own words as he's talking about making an implied threat About how this movement, which you might think that it's an educational movement, you might think that it's a religious movement, but it's also political.
	And he's talking about sleeper cells, and he makes the analogy of the human mind, but he is really talking about all the people that he's left behind in the establishment in Turkey, people who are in the judiciary, people who are in the military, the police force, and so forth.
	Here is Fethullah Gulen in his own words.
	How many cells do we have in our brains?
	Yeah, why?
	Yes.
	According to scientists, we have more than 10 billion.
	These 10 billion cells in the brain are waiting for a command to take action, to think and reflect.
	Since God has put them in those positions with many soldiers, He says, I think you can conquer many things.
	But I think they are asleep now.
	But I think they are asleep now. Yes, asleep.

	And that compound, it used to be called, until the coup occurred, it was the Golden Generation compound and worship center.
	So they know that they can also use this strategy, I think, in other countries beyond Turkey, like the United States, and they can use their schools and their educational, if you want to call it a jihad, let's say a jihad of the mind, to infect our country with a similar type of golden generation.
	And that may be one goal.
	I mean, this is a very mysterious group.
	It took us five years to put together this film.

	that he's talking to here in Houston and uh... talking about how this charter school has invited uh... charter school system has invited corruption with a foreign imam uh... who is setting up as he has it set up as a uh... science and school uh... schools of science and math here in texas uh... but there's a lot of allegations of misconduct and other issues but it's also
	I guess the left would call it cultural imperialism that's going on here.
	But let's talk about the corruption aspect of this.
	Tell us a little bit about Walt Simms.
	Well, Walt Simms is a young Texan.
	He grew up in East Texas in Tyler.
	He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003.
	And he contacted me earlier this year.
	He'd seen some videos that I'd done speaking at an event in Washington, D.C.
	this summer.
	And at first I was a little bit incredulous that this young man had so much information, inside information, about the Gulen movement.
	It turns out what had happened is Walt, while he was at university, started taking free Turkish classes offered by members of the Gulen movement.
	And they were very impressed with his ability to speak Turkish, so they offered him a job.
	And the job was to go and teach at Fatih University in Istanbul.
	Now, Fatih University has been closed after the coup by the Turkish government, but it was a Gulen-operated university.
	We have Gulen-operated universities here in the United States.
	North American University, for example, in Houston.
	Um, but Walt is very concerned about what he has seen during his eight years working in the midst of this hub of Gulen activity in Istanbul.
	And he recorded a series of videos for me, which I put together, and we're starting to put that out on social media.
	Essentially, he's very concerned about the exodus of high-level Gulenists from Turkey, where they're being prosecuted for their activities in the coup.
	To the United States and especially to Texas and Houston.
	One of the men that he mentions in his video that we'll see here in a moment is a man by the name of Sarif Ali Takalan.
	Sarif is openly now the Dean of the North American University, the school and university.
	And he was also the Dean of Fatah University where Walt studied and taught English.
	And why in the world are we seeing high-level Gulenists resettling here in the United States after they were involved in this coup attempt in Turkey?
	Why are we allowing them to receive federal funds to operate universities?
	Why are we welcoming this political Islamist cult?
	Into our country.
	And why are we paying for it?
	That's right.
	Because he wants to set up a worldwide caliphate.
	Let's understand.
	That's really a big part of the goal.
	And we understand that Islam is both a religion and a political system.
	I mean, that's the key part of it.
	Yeah, I mean, the Quran is very specific in how it sets up societies.
	And I would say that both Gulen and other members of current Turkish political structure believe in kind of a neo-Ottomanist viewpoint.
	They would love to see Turkey become, let's say, a new Ottoman Empire.
	And I think they are, you know, that's their philosophy.
	I don't agree with it.
	But, you know, they are more modern and, let's say, less chaotic than other factions in Sunni Islam.
	So perhaps they have an argument.
	I don't know.
	Yeah, yeah, because there's a lot of different Islamic factions.
	I mean, you've got the Shias, you've got the Sunnis, you've got the Wahhabis, you know, and so forth.
	Let's show a little bit of the video that you've got there on your site.
	Walt Sims talking about his experience with the Gulenist movement.
	Yeah, what should Texans know about the Gulen movement?
	That's the first question.
	Well, first off, they need to know that you can't trust or believe what these people say.
	They're very good at spin.
	They've done this for many years.
	They know exactly what to say in different parts of the world, different systems, and I've seen them do it.
	Second, you have to look at what they're doing behind closed doors.
	You have to see that There's a two-phase system going on here, and that it's a cycled system of money stays inside, loyalties rewarded, disloyalties punished.
	We would define so many of the attributes of them in a cult, that's what I call them.
	And it's a system where these people, people such as Shri Fali Tekkalaan, have fled abuses towards Americans such as myself, have escaped justice, and are in places such as Texas.
	And we are letting this Abuse continued.
	You have to really peel behind that curtain to look to see what's happening.
	And when you do...
	As an American, it's going to alarm you.
	Because that openness you might have, they don't have.
	And that toleration you have, they don't have.
	And that their ultimate goal is going to be to be in power, in wealth, and to infiltrate all systems.
	It hurts to see this happen here.
	It really hurts to see it happen in the U.S., where my home is.
	And I can't stress that enough.
	No matter what your thoughts are about the religion, you have to realize that this is a cult.
	And they operate at every level like a cult.
	And of course, again, he's a native of Tyler, Texas, a graduate of Texas A&M.
	He was working in Turkey.
	He saw how this was being set up there, and now it grieves him to see this happening in Texas, because Texas is really where they have their biggest footprint.
	Something's just happened in Houston.
	Tell us about that.
	Well, yes.
	The so-called Emam of Houston, this was Fethullah Gulen's wording, not mine, but the head of the Gulen movement in Houston, After the coup, he fled to Armenia, of all places.
	He was very much against Armenia.
	He set up a company and was in hiding there.
	He was basically on the lam because he had gone before Congress and lied to Congress about his activities in bringing US politicians on a free trip to Turkey, to Baku.
	uh... in azerbaijan and so he went on the lam for two years to finally caught up with him he's been brought back to the united states he's been he's pled guilty to lying before congress and he is uh...
	uh... being sentenced for his crimes in february twenty nineteen My guess is he won't do any time because I think he's a weak man and he's going to turn over a lot of evidence that's going to lead us to ever larger problems within the Gulen movement, within our country, the United States, and within these schools that are generating hundreds of millions of dollars for this.
	Kind of interesting when I read this about this case.
	Because what he did was, he paid for junkets for, what was it, about ten congressmen or so forth, and about three dozen staff that were going over there.
	And that's not allowed because he was doing it on behalf of a government organization, and yet, in Azerbaijan, but yet, if it's an NGO, they can do exactly the same sort of thing, and curry influence and favor, which is what the Glenis movement has been doing.
	They can get away with it because of an NGO.
	This man, Kemal Aksus, the Imam of Houston, who has now, you know, pled guilty to these crimes in our country, he was not only, you know, taking, giving trips to these politicians, but he ran the Raindrop Foundation in Houston, Texas, which is a large hub of Gulen activity, operate many non-profits, they generate companies out of there that go on to receive other tax dollars from us, some of which we haven't even really found out yet.
	Because this is such an opaque group and what Walt gets back to though is the problems of the Gulen movement and in their friendliness for some reason within our government to allow them to live here openly and to do the things that he witnessed Directly while he was working for them in Istanbul at Fatih University, the school and university.
	And he is very frustrated at this point and I want to bring it to your attention and thanks for showing Walt's video because he's tried to reach out to Governor Abbott here in Texas, to Ken Paxton, the AG, the Attorney General of Texas.
	He's reached out to the FBI.
	And his very valuable information, inside information, about how he was asked to go and make friends with Senators' daughters on visits to Turkey and find out what they could about the Senator so that that could be used here in the United States to influence the Senator.
	All of this documentary evidence doesn't seem to be of interest.
	Of course, it's not Russians.
	It's not Russians.
	It's okay if the Turks really do all the stuff that we accuse the Russians of doing.
	And, you know, you have to wonder why would our government, you know, why would the FBI, why would Governor Abbott here in Texas where this problem is so terrible.
	Why would they not, you know, at least take the phone call of this guy and listen to what he has to say and vet him if you don't believe him and see what might be useful.
	It provides another set of data points for our government leaders to understand the truth about what they've allowed to grow here in our country.
	This cult group and its operation of these schools and nonprofits I wish you'd get him on.
