	We're going to take a look at the updates to what's going on with immigration.
	But of course, it's not just DACA. It's also NAFTA. And that is now back in the news, as well as some updates to the Russian investigation, if you can call it that.
	I don't know. They're not investigating Russia.
	They're not investigating manipulation of our election.
	What they're doing is they're investigating President Trump and trying to entrap him.
	And the good news today is that he has said that, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't have to talk to Mueller.
	There's no collusion here, right?
	I mean, if there's not any crime, why would he need to testify and be deposed by Mueller?
	Mueller. I mean, that is simply entrapment.
	Maybe he should have somebody and his staff meet with Mueller on the tarmac and go have a private meeting in an airplane somewhere so they can work out what the questions in advance are going to be so that nobody finds him guilty of lying on any minor detail.
	That's what I think was going on with that meeting on the tarmac between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch, the former Attorney General.
	But nevertheless, he's wise to that.
	I mean, he's seen that with Flynn.
	But we're going to talk about what's going back and forth with everything that was going on with DACA the last couple of days.
	We didn't cover some important developments in the fake Russian narrative here.
	And we're also going to take a look at what just broke today, earlier.
	The... Newest Project Veritas investigation, where they found a senior engineer with Twitter saying, yeah, yeah, I'd love to find some dirt on President Trump, essentially.
	We'll play you the tape so you can hear what they have to say.
	But it's also very instructive for you to understand that they consider that anything that you send people, even in terms of direct messages, that they store that.
	They consider that to be their property, and they will share it or do with it whatever they wish.
	If you read those microscopic stories, Rules that go on and on and on with these organizations.
	When you sign up to use their services or accept their app, there's a lot of fine print there.
	And they're saying, hey, according to our rules that we put out there, we're entitled to do that.
	So we're going to take a look at some recent retirements, a lot of shifting landscape in the coming elections in 2018 as well.
	We've got people leaving left and right for the Republicans, and the Democrats are celebrating.
	They're saying, wow, this is looking great.
	And yet the news isn't all that good for the Democrats.
	Some of the people in the heartland are pointing out that they have got the lowest level of office holders that the Democrat Party's had.
	And it's not getting any better.
	And some of the people who have been successful in the heartland of America, in rural areas, have been successful because they don't play this identity politics game that we see Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi and all these people in Washington doing.
	And they say, you're dragging us down.
	We're not going to exist as a party if you don't stop that.
	That's precisely why I think if we look at Oprah, it's like, yeah, bring it on.
	Yeah. It's going to be more of that identity politics that's coming through.
	When we look at the news that's coming out today, the Trump administration says that it is going to allow states to test Medicaid work requirements.
	That's an interesting choice of words, isn't it?
	Allow. Do you ever see any allowance for choice in the Obama administration for what anybody was going to do about health care?
	And of course, the Tenth Amendment does allow We're good to go.
	The people who were not federalists looked at this and said, wait a minute, I smell around and see what's going on here.
	So they came up with the Bill of Rights.
	And with the Ninth and Tenth Amendment, if we use that properly, that will shut that down.
	However... I think that the best opportunity we've got right now is the fact that we have the Trump administration, even though they'll give freedom to people and the states in terms of what they want to do with Medicaid if they want to impose a work requirement for people who are getting subsidized health care.
	I think the fact that we've got the Trump administration doubling down on hot prohibition is the best opportunity for restoring important aspects of the Constitution we've ever had.

	Today, the Trump administration says it will allow states to test Medicaid work requirements.
	I think it's very important to see that we're now having some fiscal responsibility and even having different approaches, allowing different approaches.
	That's what federalism is supposed to be about.
	It isn't about a one-size-fits-all mandate coming from an all-powerful central government.
	That was antithetical to everything.
	That the founders wanted. And the people who may have wanted it, people like Alexander Hamilton, even pretended.
	That's never the design.
	That was never the design. And so we had others who said, well, maybe that's not the design, but you certainly left yourself a lot of wiggle room.
	We're going to shut that down with the Bill of Rights, the Ninth and Tenth Amendment.
	Nevertheless, they swear allegiance to the Constitution and then they do what they wish.
	This is more in line with the Tenth Amendment.
	And we have a lot of liberals who are very upset about this, even though they want to see the Tenth Amendment when it comes to Nullification of federal laws against marijuana use.
	I think it's very important for people to start thinking about whether or not they want to have everything come out of Washington.
	If that's going to be the situation, there is not going to be any way that we're going to avoid secession in the future.
	The United States is going to break up.
	It's too big to be governed from one place.
	It should never be governed from one place.
	As a matter of fact, most of the states are too big to be governable as well.
	But it's going to be uncontrollable forces that are going to split this country apart unless we start to return to something that looks like the 9th and 10th Amendments.
	Now, the Trump administration said today that we'll allow states to test requiring Medicaid recipients to work or to participate in community activities such as volunteering on job training as a condition of eligibility for government health insurance program for the poor.
	And they said that they've had requests from at least 10 states, including Kentucky, Maine, New Hampshire, Arizona, Indiana, Utah, that would require Medicaid recipients to work or participate in activities that may include skills training, education, job search, volunteering, or caregiving.
	You know what? If you're just going to sit on your behind and do nothing, you shouldn't get a free ride.
	Switzerland just made it clear they're not going to allow people in their country who have ever been as citizens or to live there temporarily.
	They're not going to let them in if they've been on welfare.
	They want people who are taking responsibility for their lives and doing something for this instead of just living off of the system.
	Under Obamacare, or as they put it, the Affordable Care Act, it's not affordable, didn't provide care, except to some of the people who are on welfare.
	Everybody else who had an insurance plan, maybe had an insurance plan that they liked because they were out there working, they really got the shaft.
	But of course the people who were doing absolutely nothing, they got some health care.
	It's just not affordable. We can't continue to do this.
	So under that, under Obamacare, 31 states expanded Medicaid to those who are making up to 138% of the federal poverty level, adding millions of people to the Medicaid roll.
	And last year, as an example, one of these 10 states who said, we would like to be able to have a little bit of accountability, responsibility, or work requirements for some of these people on this.
	Kentucky proposed work requirements for able-bodied adults.
	We understand not everybody can work.
	They might be disabled. But there still might be some volunteer work that they could do.
	Something that they could do to help in the community.
	Nevertheless, for able-bodied adults, Kentucky said, for them to get insurance, they would establish new fees for all members based on income.
	A study found the proposal would reduce the number of residents on Medicaid by nearly 86,000 within five years, saving more than $330 million.
	So in other words, they've got 86,000 able-bodied people who are getting a free ride in Kentucky alone.
	Now, also in the last 24 hours, we had President Trump sign a bill to upgrade the Martin Luther King birthplace to a National Historic Park.
	And the interesting thing about this is that unlike Barack Obama, who was using the National Monuments Act to take hundreds of millions of acres, especially towards the very end of his administration, President Trump didn't have to take half of Georgia.
	In order to do a Martin Luther King monument, did he?
	He actually used it the right way.
	So he had a ceremony there with some relatives of Martin Luther King.
	Dr. King's niece, Alveda King, was there, and she's been on the Infowars show many times.
	The legislation that he signed was sponsored, interestingly enough, by Representative John Lewis from Georgia, the Democrat who boycotted We're good to go.
	Who divides the country, not people like John Lewis, right?
	Yeah, okay. We've had Waste Management giving some of its employees $2,000 in bonuses following the tax bill passage.
	This is yet another company that is giving massive bonuses to its employees.
	I was just talking about yesterday, not even employees, but customers of utility companies in seven states, many of them Western liberal states.
	Like Washington and Oregon and others.
	These utility companies have profit margins that are set because they have a government monopoly.
	They have profit margins that are set.
	And so what they're going to do is they're going to give that money back to the customers.
	So people who are angry at Trump in Oregon and Washington, California and other places, they're actually going to see their utility bills go down.
	But of course, they won't give the credit to the tax reform bill.
	They'll still be very upset about that.
	And in New York City, they're very upset about it.
	That may not be one of the places where they're going to give people a reduction in their rates.
	But now we have the mayor there, Bill de Blasio, who has initiated lawsuits against big oil companies.
	Companies like BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and Shell.
	And what he is saying is that they're responsible for things like Hurricane Sandy.
	You knew that, right?
	Because it's all this global warming stuff.
	I find it ironic because there's just a couple of days, as I pointed out, they were facing life-threatening cold conditions.
	In these storms.
	In Delaware, they had a reporter live on the street saying, man, it's going to get minus 9 degrees Fahrenheit on the streets tonight.
	And we're hoping that we don't lose power because people could die if we lose power.
	I mean, we saw people die when power was lost from the hurricane in Florida at the rest home.
	They lost air conditioning. And the heat cost some elderly lives.
	And people are dying in Europe, Germany, and elsewhere because their power bills are so expensive many retirees can't afford them.
	And why are their power bills so expensive?
	Because they have abandoned reasonable sources of power that can be made clean simply because they are quote-unquote fossil fuels.
	Things like oil, natural gas, coal.
	They won't allow that. And so they go with very expensive subsidized.
	Even though they're subsidized by the government, they're still extremely expensive and unreliable.
	You want to power your heat in New York City using solar panels?
	You think they would have had any heat with solar panels in this last storm?
	I don't think so. I don't think it would have worked with the...
	Hurricane they had in Florida.
	Hurricane probably would have knocked out their solar panels, blown them down, more likely than to take out a power plant.
	But you know, if you have hurricanes in Florida, you have snow in New York, that's the fault of the oil companies now, according to the scientists, quote-unquote, like Bill de Blasio.
	He says, rising sea levels, hotter temperatures, more severe rain and snowfall, increased flooding.
	Sandy taught us how destructive weather events are exacerbated by climate change.
	It's that they deliberately, these oil companies, deliberately engaged in a campaign of deception and denial about global warming.
	You know what they did? De Blasio, they just saved your butt with that storm that was up there.
	It doesn't have to be a heavy storm like that in order for people to die without power.
	I would suggest that Bill de Blasio...
	Instead of suing the oil companies, I think he should show everybody how to do this.
	I think they should just cut off all sources of fossil fuel power generation and heating.
	No heating oil for New York City.
	No natural gas being used to generate electricity or coal plants for New York City.
	Just go. Cold turkey.
	Yeah, that's a good term for it.
	Cold turkey. I think you should go cold turkey on power.
	Show everybody how it's done.
	See how long that lasts.
	He says, hey, we all learned in kindergarten.
	You make a mess, you apologize, you clean it up.
	No, what they're learning in kindergarten is this is all climate change and fossil fuels and carbon.

	Welcome back. I'm David Knight.
	It's kind of interesting to see how credit rolls around.
	You know, there's a new poll out from the Hill saying that voters still say that Obama is more responsible for the economy than Trump.
	There's never been more optimism in terms of the economy than there is right now.
	And yet, they're giving Obama credit for this.
	You know, I'll tell you a story.
	It happened back in North Carolina.
	We had well problems.
	Our pump went out. We had to call a guy to come out and pull it.
	It was a very deep pump. It was very complicated.
	We had to go down like 800 feet to get water, and it wasn't much water.
	Anyway, it was a very expensive process, long-term process.
	I was out there talking to the guy, and he started complaining about the economy.
	This is a little ways into the George W. Bush administration.
	And he's talking about when everything collapsed in 2000, and it's like, yeah, that Bush, well, I tell you what, this guy is awful.
	And I said, well, you realize that he didn't become president in 2001, right?
	So, I mean, I'm not a big Bush fan, but we hadn't, at the time that the dot-com bubble burst, they hadn't even decided who the nominees were going to be.
	We were still in the primaries.
	That was Bill Clinton. He didn't want to hear it.
	Facts don't matter. We got a partisan idea here, and don't bother me with the facts, don't bother me with dates.
	So here we are, over a year later, and it's interesting that throughout the eight years of Obama, we didn't see any kind of growth like we saw immediately after President Trump was elected president.
	Immediately after that election, boom, it hit.
	And it hasn't slowed down since.
	None of that happened during the eight years of Obama.
	But he is getting the credit for it now.
	The Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday finds that 49% of Americans say that Obama is more responsible for the current U.S. economic conditions compared to 40% who give Trump credit for it.
	Let me just say this.
	To the people out there.
	If you have better economic conditions, not just better expectations, but better economic conditions, you can thank the people who have run the businesses out there.
	And the small businesses especially.
	And a lot of this optimism, and I think that Trump understands that.
	He has, I think it's going to be a big boon to small businesses and to farmers as well.
	And a lot of money for the big businesses as well.
	But jobs are not created by politicians, except in Washington.
	Obama created a lot of Washington jobs, didn't he?
	That's not a good thing, and we're going to go into why that's not a good thing here.
	I've got a whole stack of government failures here that you will not believe coming up.
	But what presidents do to make the economy go well, and this is why there's so much optimism from business and from people who are investing, what they do to make it go well is to get out of the way.
	Obama wouldn't get out of the way.
	Obama was putting the chains of mandates on us every time we turned around.
	And immediately Trump was saying, I'm going to cut regulations, I'm going to cut taxes.
	In other words, I'm going to stop stealing from you, and I'm going to take off some of these chains that I've put on you.
	That created a lot of optimism, and it creates real growth.
	The jobs are then free to be created by business.
	So in reality, neither one of them are really creating jobs.
	They can create an atmosphere that allows other people to create jobs.
	It allows us to use our money in the ways that we see fit.
	Washington doesn't create anything except taxes and regulations.
	And we certainly got a lot of that from Obama.
	I was just talking about New York City and how de Blasio wants to sue oil companies for the weather.
	Good luck with that.
	But, you know, it's something that has already been talked about in jurisdictions in California as well.
	California, New York City, what can we say?
	They're going to do what they're going to do, and we're going to have to do what we do as well.
	But I think that they should just refuse to use any power or any fuel oil and just show us how committed they are to this and how they've got all the solutions.
	This engineer, de Blasio, who doesn't know anything about technology or weather.
	And I think it's kind of interesting that this is...

	We'll talk a little bit about that more tomorrow.
	The convention where they show you the latest electronic gadgets that you absolutely can't do without, like the little suitcase that follows you around everywhere in the airport.
	Can you imagine if everybody had that?
	I'm sure that TSA and the airport people would love that.
	I'm sure you would love that, tripping over all these suitcases that are following their owners at a distance.
	That should be a real interesting thing if that ever developed.

	There you go. There's that little suitcase.
	We saw that the other day. But while they're showing all these gadgets that you can't live without...
	They're doing something very serious with smart cities.

	And that really does pull in a lot of these technological innovations that are being set up really to take our freedom and to take our ownership away from us, our ownership of our lives, to confine us into the cities as part of the Agenda 21 thing.
	That's the thing I was talking about the other day that I find very worrying.
	Of course, the self-driving cars are a big part of that.
	But at this show, where they're showing you all of the better living through mindless gadgets, they lost power yesterday for about four and a half hours.
	How's that for irony?
	And in the UK, with flu season, they've got the hospitals are seeing 12-hour waits.
	People are waiting in the hallways.
	They said it's third-world conditions.
	You know what? You're going to ration healthcare one way or the other.
	Just talking about the fact that at the beginning of the show, President Trump was saying...
	After they have put millions of people on Medicaid, giving them free health care in the states.
	And of course, a large part of that is a mandate from the federal government saying that the states are going to participate in that.
	So the federal government is setting the rules and then telling the states you find some way to pay for it.
	Isn't that backwards?
	And so what Trump is saying is we're going to allow the states to have a little bit more say-so on this.
	They can put some work conditions on people who are able-bodied.
	If you've got a disability, of course, that would not apply.
	Maybe there's something you could do on community service, but we're going to let the states experiment with that.
	Not the Democrats. They're going to tell everybody how to live their lives in the most minute way, and they're going to do it out of Washington.
	And if you think that's a good idea, if you want the single-payer system that Hillary Clinton was pushing immediately after her husband got elected president as first lady, she decided she would take over a large segment of our economy and dictate it.
	And she got slammed down. So then they came gradually for this.
	But the end goal is the single-payer system, as you see in the UK and in most Western democracies.
	The problem is, is that you're always going to have healthcare rationed, one way or the other.
	It could either be rationed by money, which means that when people aren't really sick, they don't use the service.
	Or you can ration it by first come, first serve.
	And everybody just stand in line, however long you want to wait.
	And the problem is, like in this one particular instance, if you're having a stroke like this one woman was, she had to wait five hours before she could be seen by a doctor.
	So they're having a nationwide ban in the UK on all non-emergency treatment for at least a month.
	Because a lot of people are going in because they're suffering from the flu.
	So they go there, and that means that somebody who is suffering from an emergency, a stroke or something like that, can't...
	Get a doctor to see them.
	50,000 surgeries canceled as the UK is unable to cope with flu season.
	So people have the flu, you can't get life-saving emergency surgery.

	All right, let's go back to insurance.
	As we've been talking about today, the thing that broke is the fact that President Trump said that they will allow states.
	Many of them have asked, saying you've got mandates have been put on us by Obamacare, telling us people that we have to cover.
	Can we at least have able-bodied people have some work requirements or at least go for training?
	I mean, wouldn't that be a good thing if they would go for training?
	Would that show that they're interested in working?
	And so you're going to see a lot of blowback from the liberals who don't want to see that happening.
	They want everybody dependent on the government.
	As a matter of fact, they can't wait for when universal basic income is going to hit the ground here.
	They're anxiously looking forward to the day where more than half of us are going to lose our jobs because of artificial intelligence and automation and robotics.
	Just in the transportation industry.
	Look at what's going to happen with that.
	You've got Tesla and other companies are Working on self-driving trucks to limit the number of people who are going to be involved in transportation, that is a big sector of our economy.
	So as they start replacing people in all these different industries all at the same time, and people that are not just doing manual labor at the bottom of the scale, but people who have been doing middle-class jobs, white-collar jobs, even very skilled jobs are going to be replaced.
	So something's going to be very broad horizontally and vertically.
	The unemployment. What are they going to do?
	They're going to kill us?
	Yeah, eventually. But first, they just need to keep us under control.
	And so they have proposed, and I've seen a lot of conservative and libertarian economists who know better, who have written books, people like Charles Murray, who wrote the seminal book on welfare reform, Losing Ground, talking about how welfare had harmed Poor people in the urban areas, blacks in particular, who were trapped into this system.
	And as generations go on, they get more and more dependent on the government, which is exactly what the government wants.
	They want you dependent on them for everything.
	Your transportation, your healthcare, your very existence.
	And so they are looking forward to the day when most of us lose our jobs and our businesses because of the concentration of production.
	And of robotics and automation and artificial intelligence.
	And so they have come up with the idea of universal basic income, where they will then put us on allowance.
	And make us even more passive and dependent upon them.
	So, yeah, they want people to be dependent on that.
	They won't want people to be means-tested or skilled in anything.
	They don't want that to happen. President Trump is saying we're going to allow that.
	I just told you about the UK. 50,000 surgeries canceled because they've got a lot of people going to the hospital with flu symptoms.
	They can't have emergency treatment happening there.
	And now we've got one of the Obamacare co-ops in New Mexico.
	Insolvent. New Mexico Health Connections, one of the four remaining non-profit Obamacare co-ops, did not inform its customers in June that it was insolvent, bankrupt, and its entire board had resigned.
	The Daily Caller has now learned that it also never told its customers that the non-profit paid its executives up to $450,000 in annual salaries.
	There you go. That's what this is all about.
	We've said from the very beginning, this is a form of crony capitalism.
	It's not about getting you healthcare.
	It's about getting their buddies big salaries.
	Mandating that you have all kinds of healthcare coverage that you have to buy that you don't want and can't afford.
	That's what people are saying. I mean, calling single men, young men, they have to have maternity coverage.
	They're not married, and they're guys.
	And as much as I'm sure they want to make sure that guys can have babies, I'm sure they're working on that now.
	That's the next thing that's going to come down the pike with the transgender stuff.
	But anyway, that's what the absurdity that we have with Obamacare.
	And that's what needs to happen.
	Now, when we look at other economic issues, I told you that yet another company has come out and said that they're giving bonuses.
	Many of them have said that they're raising the wages for their employees as well.
	But as the year turned, we had a lot of states who had put in mandatory minimum wage increases in 18 states.
	I know some of these companies that came out right away, some of the big telecommunications companies said, we're going to give you $15 an hour, which is what the Democrats, that was their nirvana.
	You know, if everybody could get $15 an hour, regardless of what the job was that they were doing, then everybody would be wealthy, right?
	Or have a living wage or whatever.
	That's not the way it works.
	But even these wage hikes in the 18 states don't match what some of these companies have already done because they can now afford to do it.
	We look at Washington State, they have $11.50 an hour, up by 50%.
	And Maine, they go from $9 to $10 an hour this year for the minimum wage.
	Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, we'll see their minimum wages increase by at least 50 cents an hour.
	Well, you know, the problem with all that is, as I said, many companies have already raised their rates for people, did it voluntarily, and did it by a much larger amount.
	Then they are being forced to in the states that I just listed for you.
	How does it work when you hike the minimum wage?
	As we've said over and over again, it doesn't make anybody wealthier.
	All it does is create some new wage inflation as well as job losses.
	And we already know that.
	They've just hiked their wages by fiat rather than by improving economic conditions in some of those states.
	We see what happens in Ontario where they did that.
	They hiked the minimum wage by over 20%.
	And what happened is that you had people who Had their employee benefits reduced.
	They had their hours reduced, just as people did with Obamacare mandates.
	They said, well, we're going to have to put you on a part-time job.
	So a lot of people that were down at the bottom end of the job sector had to get multiple Jobs made their lives a lot more difficult because they had to juggle different schedules.
	But in Ontario, they had a 21% hike in minimum wages starting January the 1st with hourly rates going to $14 an hour from $11.60.
	Owners of restaurants say, well, we don't have any choice but to cut employee benefits to eliminate paid breaks.
	You're not going to get a paid break.
	And they're going to be replacing people with investments, as they point out in this Zero Hedge article.
	In other words, instead of having an employee at McDonald's, you're going to wind up with a kiosk.
	That's how reality works.
	You're also... They're going to cut health benefits because it was the added mandates of health benefits that were cutting people's hours, cutting people's jobs here in America.
	That's the reason people are optimistic.
	And yet... More people in this recent poll, as I just said in the last segment, Quinnipiac poll, 49% think that the good economy, everybody agrees it's a good economy, but 49% of people...

	Welcome back. We've had a Project Veritas video released today showing a senior network security engineer at Twitter bragging about how he's ready to give Trump's private direct messages to the Department of Justice.
	Maybe he'll give them to somebody else, too.
	You know, we had a rogue employee at Twitter suspend his account for a while, and he was hailed as a hero by everybody.
	Because, you know, we don't want to have anyone that we disagree with being able to speak.
	That's the mentality of the left.
	That's not the mentality of the right, thankfully, so far.
	Let's hope that doesn't become the mentality of the right.
	We have to stand for free speech, right?
	We have the ideas.
	We can win. We are willing to debate these ideas.
	There's people on the left who just reply to any questioning of what they want to do by just screaming racist, sexist, homophobe.
	Islamophobe, bigot, that sort of thing.
	That's their only response.
	They don't talk about the issues.
	But let's play this undercover video.

	They met with an undercover journalist, meet in San Francisco with this individual.

	And he told our undercover journalist just days ago what sounded like an admission that Twitter is privately sharing President Trump's Twitter account activity with the Justice Department.
	So you're not a Trump lover?
	No. So why can't you at Twitter just push everything he has to say off to the side where nobody sees it and put all of his tweets, like this one that he just tweeted about the size of his button?
	We're going to go into nuclear warfare because of him.
	What are you doing?
	It's your job to kind of To quiet him.
	Or to downplay some of the things that he comes up with.
	Because, honestly, he's going to get us into so much trouble.
	Yep. So, funny you mention that.
	I have no idea. It was not my own decision.
	The decision, though, was that most of the stuff he tweets is completely newsworthy.
	Okay. And so because it's newsworthy, even though he's making a complete ass out of himself in the country, we have to let those tweets come and let him do it.
	Essentially, he has a carte blanche to do whatever he wants.
	Okay. The other thing too is that we're more than happy to help the Department of Justice in their little investigation.
	Okay. Like how?
	Basically give him every single tweet that he's posted.
	Okay. Even the ones he's deleted.
	Okay. Any direct messages.
	Okay. This conversation took place in our second meeting with Haynes.
	There would be many more.
	I decided to meet with him myself to see if I could confirm the story.
	So we're putting on the disguise for tonight's meeting.
	We're going to be putting on some glasses.
	We're going to be going to the steakhouse to meet with Clay and talk politics.
	Well, you should look at Junior and Senior and see what's in there.
	You know what I mean? Have you seen?
	There's a reason why we have subpoena process for that very reason.
	Oh, wow. But yeah, we can absolutely look at every single message, every single tweet, whatever you want into, what profile pictures you upload, what profile pictures that you thought you were going to do.
	Are you working with DOJ currently on that?
	I can't comment, and if I knew, I wouldn't comment.
	We don't know if there is a subpoena from justice requesting the information, or if Twitter has just volunteered it to the Mueller investigation on its own.
	To be frank, we don't have enough information.
	But if anyone at Twitter would know about such things, it would be Clay Haines.
	So, what we can do on our side is actually very terrifying.
	Why? That can be terrifying.
	We have full access to every single person's account, every single direct message, deleted direct messages, deleted tweets.
	I can tell you exactly who logged in from where, what user using a password, when they change their password.
	Alright, there you go. That's that investigation video that just dropped.
	It's part of Project Veritas' Pravda project, American Pravda.
	They've been looking at mainstream public media, but now they're also looking at social media.
	And it should not be a surprise to you.
	That social media saves everything that you put up there, and that they turn it over to law enforcement, and they don't need much encouragement if they need any encouragement at all.
	As a matter of fact, a lot of times they turn it over without even being requested.
	Say, hey, law enforcement, take a look at this.
	But I think the other part of this, and you need to be aware of that, so many people say foolish things, sometimes in jest, that wind up getting them in jail.
	Because of these guardians of public morality that we have here.
	But I think it's the other type of censorship that is even more interesting.
	And that is the fact that they came back and said, well, we deplore the deceptive and underhanded tactics by which this footage was obtained.
	Well, we kind of deplore the deceptive and underhanded tactics by which social media like Twitter obtain our direct messages and other things by putting it in the fine print of these long user agreements.
	And then say, well, this is in accordance with Twitter rules.
	We are committed, they said, to enforcing our rules without bias and empowering every voice on our platform in accordance with Twitter rules.
	We have seen Twitter become one of the most repressive in terms of censorship recently.
	And they go on to say, when talking about blocking President Trump, they said, blocking a world leader This is coming from Twitter, the official statement from the company in response to this video.
	It would hide important information that people should be able to see and debate.
	It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and their actions.
	So maybe that explains why they are so involved in censoring grassroots activists, people who are interested in politics, who don't share the same politics as the people at Twitter.
	Maybe that's why they're interested in censoring many people in the press, because they know that unlike President Trump or a world leader, they can silence you.
	They said, if we were to take this away from Trump or a world leader, it would not silence that individual.
	No, it wouldn't. They have a big platform that they can speak from.
	It doesn't necessarily have to be through Twitter.
	But they can silence people who are grassroots activists, people who are just interested as engaged citizens in discussing the issues of the day or the press that they're opposed to, who look at issues that they don't want looked at or who see the issues in a different way than Twitter does.
	And they know that if they censor these organizations, that it can have a silencing effect.
	So they can shove stuff off to the side.
	They can make sure that you don't see it.
	If that doesn't work, they can take you down altogether.
	And we had Twitter making the Orwellian pronouncements earlier this year saying they were going to look at individuals and what they did outside of Twitter.
	And as we said before, if you belong to an organization that they have deemed as socially unacceptable by whatever their internal personal criteria are, if you belong to that organization, then even if you don't do anything with that organization on Twitter, they will shut you down.
	Or you can just post pictures of cats.
	But you belong to an organization that they have labeled as a hate group or a racist group.
	You know, like the Family Research Council.
	That Christian group that was labeled as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center because they believed in traditional marriage.
	So you get on a list by some of these gatekeepers to the internet.
	Like the Southern Poverty Law Center.
	And then Twitter says, oh look, they have identified this individual or this group as a racist, hateful group and so-and-so belongs to that.
	And even though they haven't said anything about being in that group or posted anything from that group even, that we find personally objectionable, simply because they belong to that group, we can take them down.
	And we saw that happen, for example, with Roger Stone.
	He had some combative tweets, but certainly nothing at all, like Keith Olbermann, who was on Twitter's side of political issues.
	And then subsequently, they took down Roger Stone's news organization, Stone Call Truth, which had just been reporting news.
	Oh, why? Because they were associated with Roger Stone in some way.
	That's the kind of censorship that we're seeing from Twitter.
	And I think it's going to be interesting to see the other stuff that comes out of this Project Veritas investigation.

	Let's take a little look at some of the things that are happening in your government.
	We've got the IRS turning to private tax collectors.
	This is something that has been proposed typically by Republicans.
	Republicans love this idea.
	They want to privatize everything, whether it's collecting taxes or prisons.
	I remember when this came up about 30 years ago in North Carolina.
	I was involved with the Libertarian Party.
	I said, yeah, you know, that's not a new idea actually.
	That was something that the Romans did.
	You'll find a lot of information about that if you read about the Roman tax collectors in the Bible, for example.
	They called them publicans, and they were amongst the most hated people in the country.
	Why? Because they would squeeze people.
	They would make a profit off of anything that they could collect, and that's precisely the system that the Republicans are wanting to set up now, have always been pushing for.
	And so I said at the time, 30 years ago, when these Republicans were pushing this idea, I said, well, you know, They were called publicans then, and if you want to bring back that ancient hated idea, why don't we call it Republican?
	And you can own this.
	But of course, it's not just the Republicans that are doing it.
	The Democrats, as NBC is pointing out, are equally responsible for this IRS program.
	Despite the pointed failure of similar efforts in the past, Congress passed a law in 2015, before President Trump came in, requiring the IRS to use outside contractors to make a dent in the $138 billion they said that taxpayers owed the government.
	And then we had Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin come in.
	He was asked whether he thought the idea of using private tax collectors was a good idea.
	He says, ah, it seems like a very obvious thing to do.
	Okay, so how is this working out for us?
	Well, the IRS used these private debt collectors and they were, it cost the IRS $20 million this last year.
	$20 million. Do you know how much revenue they brought in?
	$6.7 million.
	They brought in one-third of what was spent by the government.
	So they pay them $20 million and they bring in a little less than $7 million.
	What's more, they said private contractors in some cases were paid 25% commissions on collections that the IRS made without their help.
	See, I kind of think from a civil liberties standpoint...
	It's enough that we don't have any due process.
	I think it's enough that we don't have any presumption of innocence.
	That they can assess the taxes and you have to prove your innocence.
	I think that's bad enough.
	I think that's worse than bad enough.
	And then to go out and incentivize these collection of taxes with people who have every incentive to put more taxes on you than you owe.
	Even under their law.
	I think that is a really, let's just say, bad way to go.
	Put it mildly.
	The outsourcing began in April.
	And they've lost $14 million just in that amount of time.
	Since then, the report stated, the IRS has implemented the program in a manner that causes excessive financial harm to taxpayers, you think, and constitutes an end run around taxpayer rights protections.
	And I'm not sure what those rights are.
	Because the Bill of Rights doesn't apply.
	So what taxpayer rights, what rights do we have as a taxpayer slave?
	I'm not really sure.
	You know, whenever, the broad problem that we see coming out of the government began at the IRS. It began when we said that we're going to create some kind of a program and a bureaucracy that is associated with that program.
	They're going to be able to write their own rules.
	and enforce their own rules and because their rules were going to say that they wrote were going to say well they're not laws like the Congress would write so therefore you don't have any protection you don't have the presumption of innocence you don't have the ability to call witnesses in your defense You don't have protection against excessive fines.
	And so now it's not just the IRS that's doing it.
	We have organizations like the FAA saying, we're going to give you a $25,000 fine if you don't register that toy drone and so forth and so on.
	It is metastasized throughout the federal government.

	I look at these polls.
	These are the same types of people who told us that President Trump was not going to win.
	And you have to understand that they have problems, even if they're trying to do this honestly.
	I don't know that they're necessarily trying to do it honestly, or if they're just trying to push opinion in one way or the other.

	We're going to use private tax collectors and pay them a fee to collect taxes.
	They started this in April.
	And this is something that actually was a law that was passed back in 2015.
	So although Steve Mnuchin at the Treasury is all for this, and Republicans in the past have been all for this, just like they like the idea of private prisons.
	You know, when you subsidize something, Like a prison.
	Or taxes. You're going to get more of it, aren't you?
	Ronald Reagan had told us that.
	They certainly know that.
	And they'd like to have more prisoners.
	And they'd like to have more taxpayers.
	So they're doing this. How is it working out for them?
	Is this a money-making proposition?
	Or is it just destroying people's lives?
	Well, they said that they got a lot more money.
	But they got $6.7 million in tax debts paid out of a backlog of $138 billion.
	So that's a pretty small percentage that they brought in.
	But the worst part about it is that for every dollar the IRS got out of these private tax collectors, they paid $3 to these private tax collectors.
	It's only about a third of the money that they brought in.
	$20 million was paid out to these guys, but the IRS only got $6.7 million.
	And they're actually making money, 25% commissions on things that they didn't even collect, that the IRS got without their help.
	Isn't that interesting? That's your government at work.
	Your government at work.
	And the fact that... That it is out of control.
	Also, when we look at Homeland Security, there's an excellent article on fee.org.
	It's a libertarian publication that goes into issues in depth.
	And they're talking about, this is James Bovard, talking about Homeland Security spending.
	Not only is it a boondoggle, but it doesn't do anything to make you safer.
	And here's some of the examples of this.
	They created out this massive boondoggle in the wake of 9-11, Homeland Security.
	They rolled all these different bureaucracies into it, far less oversight.
	And here's some of the things that they are using their money on.
	As he points out, there's a rubber stamp for anything that they can creatively refer to as related in some way, no matter how tangentially, to Homeland Security.
	For example, $2,400 for a lapel microphone.
	That is excessive.
	I'm telling you. $2,700 for a teleprompter.
	Fort Worth spent $24,000 on a latrine on wheels.
	I guess in case the excrement hits the fan for Homeland Security.
	You also had other Texas local governments spent their Homeland Security grants on things like a hog catcher for Liberty County.
	Body bags, garbage bags, Ziploc bags, and two Camaros.
	$31,000 a piece.
	Because you never have enough Camaros for the Homeland Security people.
	Michigan, this is one of the best ones.
	$6,200 of its grant on 13 snow cone machines.
	Snow cone machines in Michigan.
	They might need them in case it gets hot, they said.
	And then, of course, the type of stuff that you would expect to see them do, which even though they may not consider to be a boondoggle, it's not...
	What you and I want to see.
	Producing a film. Domestic terrorism.
	The first line of defense. And it urges viewers to become snitches.
	Report on any suspicious activity.
	Be especially wary of people who are, quote, alone or nervous.
	Or people of above average or average intelligence.
	As he puts out, unlike the people who made the film.
	That is something they're very concerned about.
	People who are average or above average intelligence.
	That makes you suspicious. And in Chicago, they created Project Shield.
	They spent $45 million in the Chicago area to set up a network of surveillance cameras that failed.
	And I have to say that, you know, when you look at these propaganda films trying to turn people into East German snitches, or setting up a massive network of surveillance cameras in Chicago, and we've got a Chicago affiliate, WCKG, up there, Matt Dubial. It was a frequent guest on here as well.
	They called it in the Chicago Tribune Project Sieve instead of Project Shield because so much money was being wasted on that.
	These cameras and things did not work in hot or cold weather.
	And it kind of reminds me of the movie.
	It's actually become my favorite movie now over time.
	It's Terry Gilliam, who used to work with Monty Python, his movie Brazil.
	Showing kind of a Monty Python take on an authoritarian Orwellian government.
	And in that...
	These people are full-on, just like everything that Homeland Security wants to do.
	But fortunately, for some of the people, a lot of this stuff doesn't work, just like this project.
	So they have all of these elaborate surveillance tactics and strong-arm, jackbooted thugs, and they're constantly failing on that.
	But unfortunately, like we see in America today...
	They have full-on paramilitary raids, like our SWAT team raids, that break in on innocent people and kill or destroy their lives in one way or the other.

	So I've been listening for just over a year now.
	I'm very excited and very happy that I was able to find Infobars.
	I think you guys are doing a great job, and I'm appreciative that you're there.
	With that said, I was curious.
	David, I remember when I was a kid, a little, real little, driving around with my father.
	Every time we'd enter any kind of town or city, there used to be a sign that said if they were incorporated or unincorporated.
	Now, in a nutshell, it's my understanding that the federal government, governmental services, is an incorporated for-profit Business.
	Corporations. Everything under, even us, if you have a birth certificate, are part of that franchise.
	The states, the cities, the towns, the counties, and the people.
	And I would want to get your take.
	I believe that that allows them, under the Articles of Incorporation, to do what they're doing and usurp the Constitution and their Bill of Rights.
	Well, I think it's interesting because, you know, what really allows them to, certainly they have a lot, there's layer upon layer of deception in our government.
	It's like an onion. There's so many different layers.
	And you just pointed out one of those.
	But the reality is, is that what allows them, I think, to get away with this is just brute force.
	I mean, if you challenge them on the legality of this, they will just shut you up and take you away in handcuffs.
	I mean, I've talked to many people who are tax protesters who went into that same type of thing.
	It depends on the court that you're in.
	It depends on the judge that you're in.
	I mean, you can challenge these people, and sometimes, as we've just seen in a big way, what happened at the Bundy Ranch, certainly the Bundys were right on the legal and constitutional issues.
	If you go back to the Constitution, and this is what they keep telling everybody, at the outer level, they tell everybody, look, We have a constitution and America is run by the constitution.
	We all take office. We swear to the constitution and so forth and so on.
	I talk about the constitution a great deal because I think it's important for people to realize that that's not what's governing us.
	When we look at it, and we say, well, either this is, they're telling us that this is a constitutionally based government, but I can't see any of that, any of that, and what's going on.
	And so people like you, Mark, take a look at this and say, yeah, there's some other things that are happening here that's an inside job.
	But I think at the essence of it, it is the force and the coercion.
	And we'll talk about that in just a little bit.

	We're talking to Mark in Iowa, right?
	We're talking about the IRS, and we also were talking about the rules that we live under.
	Has the U.S. been turned into a corporation?
	Are we subjects to that corporation?
	And I think it's very important, what I do here, is I try to get people to understand the public fraud that is being put on front of this.
	The idea that we are living under the Constitution that they all take an oath to, and then they ignore every single aspect of it.
	And I think part of this, and I think it's going to be a real teaching opportunity for the public, and I'll see what you think, Mark.
	Is this back and forth about marijuana.
	We just had this last week after Sessions said he's going to shut this down.
	We've had both Vermont and New Hampshire.
	The Vermont House and Senate has passed the bill, hasn't been signed by the governor.
	But they expect it to be.
	So both of these states are basically saying, no, we're going to do it anyway.
	So what they're doing is they're nullifying What the federal government is doing.
	And I think that moving government back to the local level is one of the key things that we have to do.
	Now the deception is multi-layered.
	And it's not just one issue either.
	It's pretty much every issue in the entire way that the government operates.
	And we go back to the beginning of this week when we're talking about what happened at the Bundy Ranch.
	Or we take a look at what was going on in Oregon.
	They didn't become dangerous to the government while they were occupying the Malheur wildlife thing.
	By doing that, the mainstream press and the government were able to demonize them, to make them look like they were the aggressors.
	What was really dangerous was when they started going around and holding meetings, telling people that what the government is doing to you right now, they have absolutely no legal authority for, and we should not tolerate this, and we need to take things back at the local level.
	That's when they killed Lavoie Finnegan.
	What do you think, Mark?
	Is that along the lines of what you were talking about?
	I know you wanted to talk about incorporation, but I think that we have to look at the overall picture and understand there's a lot of different layers of deception that are being operated on here.
	There seems to be. I think you nailed it on the head.
	I remember the Bundys, and I'm very thankful, very happy that it was turned around in their favor.
	I couldn't believe the injustice to begin with.
	I remember at the time speaking to friends, and all I could hear was from those friends, well, they, the Bundys, they, the Bundys, they, the Bundys, and I was like, Telling these, they've had these rights since before the state was a state for crying out loud.
	How can this be, all of a sudden this isn't right and they deserve to be shot at and run off and their cattle killed.
	So I was very happy that they finally got exposed, but it took An insider leaking all of this information for the country to believe it.
	That's right. Larry Wooten.
	Yeah, the whistleblower inside, Larry Wooten.
	And that's the key thing.
	It takes people on the inside.
	And we've talked to Joe Bannister.
	Who was a criminal investigator for the IRS. And he had the courage to come forward and tell people what was going on there.
	That's what's really going to turn this thing around.
	People on the inside exposing the fraud.
	And I think it's important and incumbent on us to tell people, hey, look, this isn't A, it's not working.
	B, it is enslaving and trampling on people's rights as...
	I've clearly stated in the Bill of Rights.
	So if we get the people to understand that what we have here bears absolutely no relationship to what we think we have in terms of a country here, that's the key thing.
	And then we can start to say, what do we really want?
	And it has to be done at the local level.
	And I think that's why we have a massive opportunity here with the improper actions of Jeff Sessions, ignoring the Ninth and the Tenth Amendment.
	There is no authority for the government to enforce this U.N. war on drugs.
	They were the ones who created it.
	They created the schedules.
	They put the drugs in the schedules.
	They did it ten years before Richard Nixon put that in.
	And they don't have the right to do that, as I said before.
	We need to start telling the people on the left, stop talking about 420s.
	They love to talk about 420.
	April 20th, they celebrate the use of marijuana.
	We need to say, get with the conservatives and start talking about 1018.
	The 10th Amendment and the 18th Amendment.
	The fact that the 10th Amendment says they don't have the power and the fact that the 18th Amendment, alcohol prohibition, testified to the fact they don't have the power to prohibit anything.
	Let's start talking about 1018.
	And once we do that... Then we can start to devolve power from the center back to the states, from the states back to the local communities, back to the individual, ultimately, is what we need to do.
	But I think we're going to have to have that devolution.
	David, I agree, and I also believe wholeheartedly that if we're going to do anything, it needs to start at the local level, and that would be citizens or people of this country In whatever state you live in, in whatever county within that particular state, there's what is called a state general general assembly.
	And the people need to get off the couch and start being active.
	And I think that's where it starts.
	Getting involved at that level and spreading from there.
	I know Michigan's got a great start already.
	And there's two other states that are doing that as well.
	And that was what was happening in Oregon, and that was what was happening at the Bunny Ranch.
	People who were there, that area had 53 ranches, I think, and they'd gotten rid of 52 of those ranches.
	And people that I met there when I was reporting on that, when the standoff happened, had come back and said, yeah, I used to have a ranch here, and they ran me off.
	And another person would say that.
	And then other people were there from neighboring states in Utah or Arizona saying they're doing the same thing to us over there.
	People getting together and saying, you know what they're doing?
	They're destroying our lives.
	And government was created to enforce our rights and to protect our liberties.
	And so the government is not serving us.
	And as the Declaration of Independence says, when the government fails to protect our rights, we have not only the right but the duty to alter or abolish that government's.
	So that's the beginning. People getting together at the local level, doing what they were doing in Oregon, doing what they were doing down in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, those areas coming together.
	That is something that is very threatening to the government.
	That was what they were really threatened about.
	It wasn't people pointing guns at them.
	They were the ones pointing the guns at the people who were talking and saying, you know what this government is doing is really pretty tyrannical and we need to find some way to stop that.
	You'll come up with your structures, regardless of what you want to do, as long as people understand that they have the power and understand that they are the ones who are being enslaved and robbed.
	I think that's the key thing.

	He's dropped off the line, but I want to give him a little bit of advice because he just called in and said that he had all the money swept out of his account by the state.
	Tax collectors. And I have to say, I came from North Carolina, had the same thing happen to me as well.
	One of the things that you have to do is, you know, they're going to assess a certain amount to you.
	If there's a miscommunication, or as in our case, we were trying to correct something that they thought was money that we owed.
	We didn't owe that. And what they did was, at one point, they just took everything out.
	They didn't leave us $25.
	Unfortunately, we had a business.
	We had money that was on its way in.
	We contacted them and said, wait a minute.
	This is not legitimate and so forth.
	We finally were able to get somebody who would, because it focused our attention, we didn't get off the line.
	My wife spent...
	As much time as it took until she got somebody who would listen, they said, all right, well, withhold any sweeping of money out of there.
	That allowed us to get some money in and start to handle this.
	And we eventually got it taken care of, and we didn't owe any money.
	We got that money back.
	But they can do that to you.
	They can leave you penniless because the tax system and the tax collectors and the banks work hand in glove.
	I mean, they created the Federal Reserve System at the same time they created the income tax system.
	And they have been working with each other all that time.
	So the key thing I would tell you, Richard, is to make sure that you talk to them.
	Communication is key right now in this, and you make sure that you get somebody.
	If you can't get through to them, you hire somebody that's going to help you in that.

	Yeah, David. Thanks for having me on.
	I had to deal with one of these affiliates of the IRS just yesterday.
	I swear it's so weird that you're talking about this.
	One of these privatized tax collectors.
	Yeah. So they set up...
	So first of all, the whole thing happened because I agree, you know, whatever.
	I mean, the taxes I think are wrong, but I owed the money.
	We went to roll over our 16 taxes into our 15 taxes.
	We were making monthly payments.
	And then the IRS lost our paperwork.
	So then they billed us for that and the interest, and then they sent us through one of these companies.
	And so the lady's supposed to call us at noon yesterday.
	She ends up calling at like 1.30.
	It's crazy.
	Yeah, the problem is that if they make a mistake, They're not really going to acknowledge it.
	And you don't have the presumption of innocence.
	And so they can apply this stuff.
	They can apply the taxes. They can even take the money out of your account without having to answer to anybody.
	They don't have to convict you of a crime.
	And, of course, that began with the IRS. But then with the war on drugs under Ronald Reagan, we said, hey, we've got this thing called asset forfeiture that we'll do.
	We'll call it civil asset forfeiture.
	We'll say it's not criminal.
	So we'll just, if we think somebody...
	Has some connection. We presume some connection to drug usage or something.
	We find the cops pull you over and they see that there's a joint in the back because your teenage kid has got A bunch of friends in there.
	It's not even clear that it belongs to your son.
	It's your car and they take your car.
	So they don't have to prove any ownership.
	They don't have to prove any crime.
	And of course, they can also even drop stuff like that in there as well.
	But just on that basis, they can confiscate your property.
	And that all really began with the IRS. And now they have made this worse for the people who are just tuning in.
	The IRS is using...
	Private contractors to collect debt.
	In some cases, even if the private contractors are not collecting the debt, the IRS is paying them a 25% commission.
	And so the IRS paid out $20 million in order to collect $6.7 million.
	They paid out three times the amount that they're collecting, and they're running roughshod over people because these guys have got a profit motive to come after you, don't they, Phil?
	Yes, they do.
	And that's what I was...
	There's so much corruption in government.
	It made me wonder how for three years before that, they weren't having a problem rolling over my payment with the year before.
	And then all of a sudden, this program starts, and now there's a problem.
	It makes you really question whether there's some corruption there.
	Who knows this person?
	Where's the fascism here?
	Yeah. Well, you've got a bureaucracy that is unaccountable, so you can have some individuals in it that become arrogant and detached, and they just do whatever they want to.
	But then you compound that by putting a profit motive on it and incentivizing some publican out here.
	As I said before, that's what the Romans did.
	That's why the publicans were so hated.
	Look at the New Testament.
	The people who were writing that at the time of Roman occupation and how they were the most despised people because they had a profit motive.
	They had the power of the state behind them, but then they had a profit motive to come after people.
	That's why this is such a horrible idea.
	It began in August.
	They passed the law back in 2015 to do this.

	And it's not working out good under any measure because the IRS is paying three times the amount of money that they're collecting.

	I'm like, wow, okay, that makes sense.
	And everything started making sense.
	And I'm like, I've been on the wrong side all these years.
	Leaving in Obama, leaving in Hillary, all these guys.
	And it was you guys. So I got to give you guys a shout out for that.
	Also to Ron Gibson, YouTube channel.
	I'm there every day with these guys on YouTube, reading the chat.
	And I used to donate to you guys.
	But they took the donate away.

	So I wanted to ask you real quick about Anonymous.
	They used to hate Trump a whole lot, and now they've disappeared.
	So I think they're Soros-fronted, like, organization?

	And then we see other sources, other Anonymous sources that are coming out there, like QAnon and so forth.
	I'm still watching what's going on with Julian Assange.
	I find that very interesting.
	I mean, there was a photograph That came out yesterday.
	I think somebody said it was a soccer jersey from Ecuador or something that was put on his account.
	But that was the first thing that's been put out there since December the 31st.
	So he's gone about 10 days without really saying anything.
	He put out this cryptic code as well as a link to a music video.
	So there's been a lot of stuff coming out about that, whether or not he is going to be able to leave that embassy, whether there's the picture of looking at it that was put out.
	That's the first thing that came out yesterday, first thing that we've seen from his account, and a lot of strange things have been happening with that.
	A lot of people believe. That there's a deal underway or that he may have even left the Ecuador embassy and be in Switzerland.
	We've had no confirmation of that from WikiLeaks or from Julian Assange.
	But I think they are – anybody can say that they're anonymous.
	And so that's a difficult thing to adjudicate.
	You're talking about how anonymous would be anti-Trump and so forth, and maybe it was tied with Soros.
	Look, Soros is definitely tied with a lot of international intrigue.
	He's had one color revolution after the other, and so no doubt he's involved in that, and no doubt he's involved in funding things that are happening here in the United States with Antifa and other things.
	So we've seen the documentation where people who have been involved in the Antifa organization have been getting Soros money.
	So there's no question about that.
	The real question is, what is going on in Washington?
	And I think the corruption that we're seeing now blow back against a lot of these people who have been working with this crime family, the Clintons, for a long time.
	I mean, they're not the only crime family there.
	I mean, you've got the Bush crime family as well.
	Let's be bipartisan about this.
	There's a lot of corruption in Washington, without a doubt.
	And I think there's a lot of good people that are still in law enforcement that have had enough of this.
	And as these people have come after Trump to try to take him out, I think that has blown back on them.
	And I think we're going to see a lot of positive developments in this coming year.

	Are you there? Yeah, I'm here.
	All right. Thank you. It's a pleasure to talk to you.
	What's on your mind? I'm a construction worker out here in Kentucky, like you said.
	And we get our paychecks early if we get direct deposits.
	There were several of us comparing checks this morning.
	And it seems like our pay went down about $4.
	We were kind of looking for maybe a little bit of a boost from this tax cut.
	But it looks like on average it's about four, five, six bucks a week we're going to get less because of the new tax plan.
	Well, that's interesting because what they were saying was they didn't know how – they didn't expect for the withholding to change until February because most people were waiting on rules from the IRS as to what the withholding was going to be.
	So it's kind of interesting that you've seen that and that it's gone down.
	I'm surprised because what they were saying on average – and this was even publications like New York Times are expecting the middle class to see about a $2,000 to $2,500 – Tax cuts.
	So we're looking at people that were making anywhere from about $40,000 to just over $100,000 that they'd be seeing that kind of tax cut.
	So that'd be about $200 or so on average a month, which would work out for most people to be about $100 per paycheck.
	But you said your paycheck, the first one that you've got now, it's gone down about $5 or $7.
	Correct. And we're not able to view our pay stubs until tomorrow.
	So it could be something local or something else that calls it.
	You know, I can't really tell exactly what calls it without looking at my thumb.
	Yeah, I think the problem is that, you know, give it a little bit of time to level out.
	We'll have to see what happens. But I think at this point, people that have put stuff in, they don't really know how to adjust the tables.
	And so it's kind of in a state of flux because they pass this right at the very end of the year.
	And so the accountants in most cases haven't had a chance to adjust that.
	Another quick point that seems like you got me feeling a little better about that one.
	You know, as far as trying to open people's eyes, like the last caller was talking about, you know, you guys opened his eyes.
	I feel like a good angle, maybe Smyke could do something on the fact that, you know, they bought the land for that new UN, or our new building in London, which is at the Embassy.
	You know, they bought that land in 2008, so they started planning it years before that.
	So they knew, I mean, that's good evidence, that they were planning on imploding London.
	Because why in the world would we build the most secure building ever in London when they're supposed to be our friends?
	That's right. Yeah, when you look at the...
	That is very interesting, isn't it?
	Because you look at the way the embassy in Jerusalem was, or in Tel Aviv, actually.
	In Tel Aviv, they said, hey, initially they put it right next or on top of a former gas station, and there wasn't any security at all in Israel.
	And now they're talking about moving it to Jerusalem, and they're saying, well, maybe we can get a little bit better security.
	I mean, they did get, eventually did get better security, but...
	That is a lot more security there for the embassy in London than they even have in a hotspot like Israel.
	So that is very interesting, I think.
	But I think, you know, when you look at your, we'll have to wait and see what happens with the tax thing.
	But there's a lot of uncertainty, I think, on the part of everybody, from the accountants as well as individuals who don't really, you may have to adjust your withholding or something.
	I don't know. I mean, it's going to be a state of flux there.
	But if they don't get that fixed, if people see their taxes go up, that is going to be, people are going to be furious about that because it's been billed as a tax cut.
	I think it will eventually wash out as a tax cut once everybody figures out how to do the tables properly.
	One more quick point.
	Me and my wife got a little joke.
	I asked her, you know what they're doing, right?
	She says, no, what?
	She said, well, they're building artificial intelligence and robots to kill humans.
	And then she looks back at me and she says, and they're turning the frogs back.
	That's a little joke, a little daily thing.
	I mean, just think about that.
	They're building artificial intelligence and then robots to kill humans.
	Well, turning the frog's gaze, when we see things like that that are happening with the runoff of the chemicals that are accumulating in the water that don't get filtered out with the municipal water systems, and then it starts to have situations where it's not just the frog's gaze, It's shrimp and so forth.
	And it's messing with their hormones.
	And those same chemicals are going to be messing with our hormones as well.
	It's one of the reasons why the birth rates are going down.
	For the longest time, they're saying to everybody, look, in Western nations, the birth rate is collapsing.
	And using that as an excuse to say, well, so we've got to open up the borders and bring people in so we can keep your Social Security going and so forth.
	They don't want to see that happening.
	And it is not just a social condition where they have women who say, well, I want to work all of my life.
	I want to stay in the workforce.
	And I'm delaying having kids or whatever because I want a career.
	That's a factor in it.
	But that's not going to collapse the birth rate the way that we've seen it collapse.
	There's going to be a physiological issue, and we can see that in the evidence.
	And that is an ongoing joke that the mainstream media likes to put out there, but there's an underlying truth to that joke as well.

	I'm calling because I'm from eastern Arizona, like pretty much right down the road from Jeff Flake, Senator Jeff Flake's place.
	And, well, we have some family friends that were friends of the Bundys and the I'm starting to lose you right there.

	Well, we're all ranchers and we live here in Eastern Arizona.
	And I was wondering if you'd heard of the book Only by Blood and Suffering by LaVoy Finnegan.
	I haven't read that book. Yes, I've seen it.
	Yeah, it's a really good thing.
	I was recommending it to you guys because it's a good family, light read, and a family book.
	And I believe that this is partially the reason why the Obama administration did what they did to the Finicums and LaVoy that day.
	I saw that book when he was killed.
	I noticed that and I thought, yeah, I'm going to have to get that out.
	I'm curious to see what Lavoie Finnegan had to say because he did a video directly addressing Glenn Beck after Glenn Beck attacked them.
	And he called Glenn Beck out on that.
	And he was a real straightforward, very effective speaker.
	My son went up there along with Joe Biggs to report on the standoff, and he got to talk briefly to Lavoie Finnecombe.
	They became very dangerous, as I said earlier in the program, once they started making regular trips, and nobody interfered with them on those trips.
	They were making regular trips to the local community to talk to them about the actions of the Bureau of Land Management, of the Forestry Service, and other agencies that were controlling the natural resources.
	The people there had various property rights on.
	They didn't own the park, or they didn't own the forest, but they had logging rights, or they had mineral rights, or they had grazing rights, or water rights, or whatever that was.
	And those are just as real as the property rights that you have for your home.
	But once they started talking to people about the abuse, the misuse, and the unconstitutional actions of these agencies that should not even be controlling this land, it should be under state control and local control, once they started doing that, that's when they set up that ambush, and they did it in an area, as we saw earlier, On Monday, we played that clip from Inside the Car by Shania Cox.
	They set up the ambush.
	So they couldn't call anybody.
	They were on their way to a meeting that was being sponsored by a sheriff in one of the local counties.
	So, yeah, I think it was absolutely about the information.
	Whether it was in that book, probably that's a good way to support the family.

	I've actually been listening to you guys for multiple years.
	First time caller, though. Well, thank you.
	Thank you. You guys do awesome work over there.
	With everything going on right now with the transgender movement and these guys basically trying to force something on us that not all of us want.
	We don't want to accept it.
	Is there a way that we can push our own legislation?
	If they're going to make it a law that they can use a bathroom while they have male genitalia, but in a women's room, for example, with my 12-year-old daughter...
	Shouldn't we have a law that requires them, if they're going to claim opposite gender, to pay for a sex change to be that opposite gender?
	Yeah, absolutely there is.
	And, you know, that was done in North Carolina.
	If we go back and we look at where a lot of this bathroom stuff started, it was in North Carolina.
	It was in Charlotte. Inside, even though Charlotte is a very, I'm sorry, North Carolina is a very conservative state for the most part, the inner city of Charlotte was run by liberals, as you see in many inner cities.
	Austin is a good example of where you and I live.
	Austin is kind of this liberal island.
	Of course, there's other big cities that tend to be liberal as well.
	Dallas is pretty liberal on a lot of issues.
	So typically the cities are not like the rest of the states, even in conservative states like Texas and North Carolina.
	Now, what happened in Charlotte, North Carolina, was you had an individual who pushed this transgender bathroom freedom for them, but not freedom for anybody else.
	He pushed this.
	He had a history of being involved in sexual crimes.
	And so the North Carolina legislature pushed back on that, and that created a national incident with people saying they were going to boycott North Carolina and so forth.
	And it played a factor in the election there.
	So it is very dependent on having people elected to office who are going to have a spine and a backbone to stand up to this.
	And I think the real issue that you and I would agree on with this is that you have a conflict of rights here.
	Some individuals want to imagine themselves as a different sex person.
	And we go back and we look at why we had different bathrooms in the first place.
	And that was trying to minimize predatory behavior.
	We don't want to have men who are going to prey on women in bathrooms.
	And we don't want to have individuals who are going to prey on children in bathrooms as well.
	And so to try to minimize that...
	We had separate sexes for Boy Scouts and for Girl Scouts.
	We had male and female bathrooms to try to minimize that.
	You can never totally get rid of something like that.
	But it is also a factor of privacy in the bathroom.
	And that is the right of other people.
	When we look at the bathrooms or we look at dressing rooms or shower rooms as part of a physical ed program, we've had multiple bathrooms.
	Situations, jurisdictions where women or young women, I should say, girls and schools are bringing up lawsuits because they don't want to be forced to have somebody who says, well, identify as a girl so I can come into your bathroom.
	I mean, that is violating other people's freedom.
	And I think that's where the, especially on private property, why would they do that on private property?
	Why would they make these kinds of mandates?
	Yeah, I guess to pick your brain while I have you on the phone, too, would be, is there something on the federal level that we could do?
	Like, if Trump wanted to go ahead with his administration and say, you know what, well, fine.
	We will acknowledge that there is another sex out there.
	You guys do feel like you were born in the wrong body.
	We don't want you to feel discriminated against.
	However, if you are going to claim that, Well, I don't want to see the federal government interjecting themselves into that level of our life.
	I mean, every time we have a problem...
	The appropriate solution is usually not in the federal government.
	I think at the very least, we need to be able to have the freedom to decide this, not only on a state-by-state basis, but on a community-by-community basis, and I would even say on the basis of individual property.
	If you've got private property and you've got a business and you don't have a transgender bathroom or you have male and female bathrooms, people don't want to go to your business, that's their decision.
	That's the way you handle this, ultimately, is having property rights and respecting people's privacy.
	That's the important thing.
	I think we can do that at the state level.

	So both New Hampshire and Vermont have done that.
	They say the governor in Vermont is expected to sign it.
	Has the governor in New Hampshire signed this bill, Joe?

	Okay, I'm looking through the article here and I don't see, I think it's going to him to be signed.
	So I think they're both going to, okay, he has pledged to sign the law into bill, the bill into law, sorry.
	So you have both of these governors in New Hampshire and in Vermont say that they're going to sign it and it has been passed by the legislatures in both of those states since we've had Jeff Sessions say that he's not going to honor that.
	Your comments? Yeah, actually, I was just going to give you my thoughts behind the whole marijuana thing.
	I think that Sessions and Trump are playing more like a good cop, bad cop.
	I really think that...
	I don't think they're going to do away with it.
	I think that most of the blue states, or if not all the blue states, are the marijuana states.
	And I really think they're going to use that as a leverage, the same way they did DACA and the wall.
	To get them to do what?
	To get them to come in line?
	To do whatever they want. If you look at New Hampshire and Vermont, it's not like they're enacting massive taxes like California did.
	I mean, California needs money.
	They're going bankrupt because of their massive spending.
	That doesn't seem to be a part of it in New Hampshire and Vermont.
	What they're just saying is, look, we're going to remove any civil penalties and fines for possessing one ounce or less of marijuana.
	That's the bill in Vermont.
	So it isn't like they're coming in with a massive amount of tax like you see in California.
	I mean, it's something like a quarter of the cost of...
	The marijuana that they're getting 25% tax or something like that in California.
	So they need the money very badly.
	So I can see that being leveraged there.
	But I also know that Jeff Sessions, like a lot of conservatives, and I think this is why it's a teaching moment for a lot of conservatives who, on many other issues, support states' rights, but they don't there because they're concerned about drug use.
	And rightfully so. I don't support recreational drug use at all, of anything.
	Marijuana or anything? I don't use it myself.
	Alcohol. But we've had that experiment in alcohol, and everybody realized that it failed in every possible way.
	It didn't get anybody, stop anybody from using it.
	And what it did was it created far more dangerous forms of it.
	It created organized crime and violence.
	And it was a total failure in every respect, so they took it out.
	But they had the respect for the Constitution to have an amendment.
	So how do you feel about this?
	I really don't know either way.
	I really think it's a leverage thing.
	I really do. I believe that they're going to use that for leverage to get what they want from those states.
	Well, that's interesting. I'll tell you what, I'm hoping that they go full on with it.
	I hope that Sessions goes as hard as he can to try to overturn that, because I think that would be leverage for us to get our Constitution back, or get people interested in it.
	I think, you know, we've had, actually there was an individual, I need to look him up and get him on the show.
	A couple of years ago, there was a documentary, it was called, it was about guns and pot.
	And it was saying, this is the way we get our freedom back.
	People on the right want their guns, people on the left want their pot.
	And let's understand that the only way that we are going to do this is if we respect the Constitution, respect individual rights and so forth, and if we respect things like the 10th Amendment.
	And so that's why I keep telling people, you know, the battle cry for the people who want marijuana legalization needs to not be 420, but it needs to be 1018, the 10th Amendment and the 18th Amendment, because that shows the unconstitutionality of the entire war on drugs.
	And if you allow people to prohibit Recreational use of certain things.
	They're going to come in and say, well, I don't like you taking this unapproved supplement over here, for example.
	I'm going to have to approve everything that you take because that's where we are right now.
	We've got a federal drug administration that sits there and says everything is prohibited unless expressly permitted.
	That is exactly the opposite of what the Constitution says.
	If we continue along that road, they're going to be able to tell us that we have to take their vaccines.
	If they can prohibit what we take for health or other issues, then they can tell us what we have to take.
	Alright, we're in agreement on that.
	Alright, well, it'll be an interesting thing to see what happens because even the people who are involved in prosecuting financial crimes say that they have been blindsided by the move by the Department of Justice.
	And this is the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, FinCEN.
	They look at financial crimes.
	So this has thrown a lot of banks and other businesses who said, I thought we had a legal framework here.
	But, you know, there are certain things.
	If you're going to ignore the foundation, the legal foundation of our country, By ignoring the Constitution, then nobody has any certainty.
	And so you've got federal bureaucracies say, we don't know what's going on, we need some guidance, because now we don't have any law here, right?
	It's just the whims of an attorney general.
	We had an attorney general under Obama that said, all right, well, you know, they passed this war on drugs, and that's in conflict with the Constitution, but I don't care about the Constitution.
	But we're going to lighten things up a little bit here on marijuana, and then the next attorney general comes in and says, no, we're not.
	And so you've got this back and forth which wouldn't be there in the first place if they would follow the Constitution.
	We would have a broad-based consensus on what we're going to do like they did with alcohol.
	And when they got rid of federal prohibition of alcohol...
	You still had some states, like Mississippi, that went for a number of years still prohibiting alcohol everywhere.
	We still got a lot of places in the South where you can't sell beer on Sundays and so forth, all the blue laws that they've got, or prohibiting the sale of alcohol unless it's a state agency, the ABC Commission.
	And so, as we used to say in North Carolina, the biggest drug pusher in North Carolina was the state of North Carolina because they were the ones selling all the alcohol.

	Go ahead, Jim. David, it's such a pleasure to speak with you.
	I know you're an expert of anyone that I've ever heard or known of.
	I have a question that's pretty pressing for me.
	Are taxpayers still funding Planned Parenthood?
	Are they still funding it? Well, you know, every time we get a Republican that comes in, what they do is they stop the funding of certain types of abortion.
	But yes, there is money that is still going to Planned Parenthood.
	They're saying that this is part of, because they're women's health.
	They don't want to shut funding to them.
	There's always a back and forth of that.
	I don't think that they have completely shut down Planned Parenthood.
	I might be mistaken about that.
	You say I'm an expert. I don't know everything.
	I might be mistaken about that.
	I know they always try to shut that down with the Republicans and then the Democrats will pull it back on.
	They'll open up funding, even funding abortions in other countries.
	But I think the key thing that we look at here is that The story that came up out of Long Island, just I reported on it yesterday.
	I have a video up about it.
	The fact that you had a pregnant woman...
	Who was being forced to take a flu vaccine by the hospital that she worked for.
	She was a technician. She said, look, I'll wear a mask, but I'm not going to take that because I've read the insert.
	Fundamentally, it comes down, and I said, you know, here's somebody who is pro-choice.
	They're a pregnant woman who is pro-choice.
	And she also wants to do this for her own health and the health of her baby.
	Where is Planned Parenthood?
	They keep saying they're all about women's health.
	They're all about choice. Where are they when it comes to an individual like that?
	Yes, sir. Well, I wanted to throw this at you.
	It's kind of a common sense question.
	Who is paying for all the facilities, then, if it's not actually taxpayer-funded?
	Well, hang on. We're going to be right back.

	And we still have on the line, I think, Jim in Georgia, who was asking about abortions.
	Is you still there, Jim? Yes, sir, I am.
	All right, I got a little bit of information for you here, looked up during the break, because I know that we had a lot of talk About defunding Planned Parenthood because of the expose from the Center for Medical Progress where they went through and they got these people confessing to buying the body parts and getting Planned Parenthood to acquire these for them.
	So it's clearly a quid pro quo.
	Now we've had some of those clinics shut down even though California is still coming after the Center for Medical Progress as well.
	So there has been some progress there.
	However, what I found here is that it's essentially the same thing we see as the presidency changes hands from Republican to Democrat.
	This has been this way since Ronald Reagan.
	They have a foreign subsidy of abortions that stops when Republicans get in office.
	And then when the Democrats get in, they start it back up again.
	This goes back to Ronald Reagan.
	They called it the Mexico City Policy.
	And what they said was any non-governmental organization that is foreign that we are giving money to as the American government.
	Because, you know, we give money to everybody, right?
	So what they did was they tied some strings to that and said, if you're foreign, if you're not a government organization, you have to certify that you're not doing abortions or we're not going to give you any money.
	So that means that International Planned Parenthood refused to certify that.
	So they lost $100 million worth of funding, International Planned Parenthood.
	However, Planned Parenthood is still getting over $500 million this last year, $544 million.
	So things really haven't changed politically any more than they typically do when a Republican comes in.
	That's been the tradition since Reagan was in, that they would stop foreign funding of abortions by non-governmental organizations.
	Okay.
	Wow.
	Okay, so really things haven't so much changed.
	No, they haven't. You know, hopefully something else is going to happen, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.
	And once, see, under Title X and under Medicaid, Planned Parenthood can say, well, we're all about women's health, and you can't, you know, we're not going to use this money for abortion, but you can't separate those funds.
	And so that's the way they continue to hang in there.
	And so unless they come into a situation where they say, if you do, kind of like they did with the Mexico City policy, where they have to certify they don't do any abortions, unless we do something like that, they're going to continue to fund them through Medicaid.
	And who knows? Maybe they're talking about Medicaid reform, saying that states that just came out today, as I reported earlier, the Trump administration said, we're going to allow states, because 10 of them have asked for the permission to do so, to have work or training requirements at the very least.
	Are you getting some new skills so that you can support yourself?
	because Medicaid is a welfare program for people who don't have any money to give them health care, to give them health insurance and so forth.
	So they're saying the states will be allowed to impose these work or training requirements for people who are on Medicaid.
	Maybe while they're doing that kind of reform, maybe they could do something about Planned Parenthood as well.
	But that's the status of where we are, Jim.
	Yes, sir.
	Okay.
	Well, I mean, another long line of very good reasons not to comply on.
	I mean, it's so scary not to.
	But then again, I mean, this is human life, and I'm being forced to pay for something that is really from the belly of Satan.
	That's right. You know, this ain't cool.
	You know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
	Yeah, it's a really horrific thing.
	And it's a very – there's a partisan movement here.
	Like I've said many times, the only choice that they want to give people is a choice of whether or not they want to kill their kids when they say they're pro-choice because we just saw in that case of that pregnant – A person working in the hospital who lost her job because she did not want to endanger her child's life, because she didn't want to endanger her health by taking a flu vaccine while she was pregnant.
	That was always something that they said, do not do that.
	And they still say, she said, I read the inserts.
	I saw what the CDC had on its website.
	They said, get your doctor's opinion on this.
	She said, I did, and they said, don't do it.
	But then they fired her.
	So, I mean, we see that kind of coercion going on all the time.

	Good morning, David. I think, you know, we have several different layers of...
	Whether we are in a constitutional government or a corporation government, but I think one thing we should all remember is something that Thomas Jefferson said, is that We will have a constitutional government or representative government as long as we are a moral people.
	That's right. And I think we've lost the side of morality expecting government to do it when we need to govern ourselves.
	Absolutely. And, you know, I talked about that when I played the clip of that bishop that was on Fox News when they were going back and forth about marijuana.
	And he said, you know, I've suffered under this.
	I've suffered from addiction.
	And I don't want to see this because I see this as a gateway drug.
	And it's like, all right, I understand.
	But let's understand what the real power to change lives is as a bishop.
	Wouldn't he say that the power to change lives is Jesus Christ?
	I would think that that would be where he would find his power.
	Not in law enforcement.
	You know, as long as we try to get all of our problems solved by government and by government at the highest possible level, everything has to be a federal problem now.
	If we have an issue, we want to get it solved by a savior in Washington.
	That's not the way we're going to get these things solved.
	And we're not going to solve all of our problems by sending guys with uniforms and guns around to beat it into us either.
	I mean, that's the fundamental thing.
	So if we lose that moral foundation, you're exactly right, Lee, we lose that moral foundation and the responsibility, the individual responsibility that comes with that.
	We are lost and we can't have some government impose that on us.
	That's why you can't give democracy or republic to these different countries that we're going in and starting wars with because we want regime change.
	And then we wind up with something that's as bad or worse than what they had before because the moral foundation is not there.
	Exactly. Yeah. Yeah.
	That's why we had such a problem with Roy Moore is that he wanted to We're good to go.
	Yeah, that's right. And the thing about Roy Moore, when you look at the monuments, and I think when we look at that in retrospect to what's been happening in this last year is they've been going around tearing down monuments of everything that has to do with the basis of our civilization.
	It's not just the Ten Commandments.
	They want to take down Columbus.
	They want to take down any politician.
	I mean, whether it was somebody on the north or somebody on the south or somebody who came afterwards, well after the Civil War, or somebody who came at the foundation of...
	The beginning of Europeans coming to this country.
	They want to take down everything that this civilization is about.
	And so I think what Roy Moore was saying was we have to recognize that every system of law has as its foundation some kind of a moral foundation.
	Yeah. And I think what he was trying to do was to say, look, we have to understand where we're coming from.
	And they understand that on the other side.
	And they want to tear down not only the monuments to the Ten Commandments, they want to tear down the monuments to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, everybody.
	That's what we're saying on the other side.

	You said you wanted to talk about marijuana.
	Go ahead, Josh. Yeah, can you hear me, David?
	I hear you. Awesome.
	Thank you for taking my call.
	Thanks for calling. What I'm really concerned about is, I know when Trump was campaigning, the issue about legalized marijuana, medical marijuana was brought up to him, and he said it was basically a state's rights issue.
	And obviously, you know, the black market thrives when you try to make something illegal like that.
	You know, the clear example is obviously alcohol being made illegal gave rise to organized crime.
	But aside from that, one thing I'm really concerned about right now, especially moving into the midterms, is the fact that we've got Jeff Sessions and this administration really pushing back on something that's really popular.
	I mean, the majority of people want to see marijuana legalized.
	They think that it should be regulated.
	And this is just something that can be really damaging for the popularity and for the optics of this administration, if nothing else.
	It seems like a horrible time to be doing this.
	Yeah, it is really tone deaf, isn't it, to what's going on.
	But what concerns me even more is that there's no constitutional support for what he's doing.
	We have a Tenth Amendment. And everybody understood when we had the 18th Amendment.
	That's what I said before. Forget the 420.
	People who want to have legalized marijuana, they need to start talking about 1018.
	The 10th Amendment prohibits the federal government from doing this because it said if you don't explicitly have that power, that power remains in the states.
	There's nothing in the Constitution that says that the federal government or the attorney general can prohibit marijuana or anything else without specific powers given to it.
	That's why we had the 18th Amendment to give them the power.
	We had everyone at the time realize, and I think it's probably still true, alcohol is our most dangerous, most addictive drug.
	And everybody said, this is a bad thing.
	Let's try and experiment.
	Let's say that we're going to prohibit this and we're going to arrest the people who sell it.
	They didn't come after the end user back then, but we'll arrest the people who sell it.
	It was a horrific failure.
	You had people like Al Capone and other rival gangs shooting each other with machine guns on the streets.
	It created a massive black market and organized crime to support that.
	We've now seen that in spades with this now 47-year-old experiment on drug prohibition here in the United States.
	But now with the war on drugs that we're under now, under Nixon's war on drugs, we don't have a constitutional amendment that gives them the power.
	And so they use bluff and bluster and misdirection, and they talk about the Commerce Clause, or they talk about how it began with saying that the Harrison Narcotics Act was there to collect taxes, just like they did with Obamacare.
	And they have no authority to do any of this.
	So, to one degree, I want to have this fight.
	But understand that Jeff Sessions, I don't know, Trump has been silent on this.
	He had said before, And I think Jeff Sessions had said, had made assurances that he wasn't going to do anything to interfere with the Tenth Amendment on this particular issue, and then he reversed himself.
	And we haven't heard anything from President Trump, but we've had other people in the Republican Party questioning the drug bureaucracy representatives that we have in Washington and saying, why do we even have marijuana scheduled as a Class 1?
	I mean, that scheduling was created by the United Nations.
	This is a great teaching opportunity for people on both the left and the right to show them how the United Nations is dictating things to us and to show them how the federal government doesn't care anything about the Constitution.
	So hopefully we'll have that.
	We've already had conservative congressmen, Republicans, questioning why marijuana is a Schedule I, that they say that it has no medical use, and yet we've got more than half the states say that it does have a medical use.
	And we know that it does have a medical use.
	Yeah, absolutely. And then, you know, you look at how, when it comes to the veterans, I mean, this is something, like you said, that has a great medicinal use to it.
	This is something that can really help out the veterans.
	And this is something that's now going to be pushed back upon, apparently, by the Trump administration.
	And on top of that, you see the tax revenue that these states...
	I mean, it just seems like a win-win situation in every way.
	It's just insane to me that they're doing this.
	It is. Absolutely. And many of these states, even states where medical marijuana is legal, people have to be very guarded because if they say that they're using marijuana for PTSD or for pain treatment or something like that, They can lose their health care through the VA.
	I mean, it's an insane policy, especially when you look at the fact that they're prescribing opioids, which are highly addictive, highly dangerous.
	And you could get rid of a lot of the initiation of opioid addiction by allowing these people who are patients to take marijuana, medical marijuana, rather than opioids.
	I mean, I remember when Chris Christie was running and he gave us that long story about a friend of his who was a lawyer and how he was very successful, married with a family and so forth.
	Had been at the top of the class.
	And this guy's life was destroyed because he got prescribed opioids for a back injury that he had.
	He became addicted to it.
	It cost him his job, his career, his family, and he eventually committed suicide.
	And then Chris Christie immediately pivots.
	So therefore, pot should be outlawed.
	I mean, this is like saying, hey, look, we had these...
	These guys from Saudi Arabia take down these buildings in 9-11, which I don't believe.
	But now we're going to go attack Iraq.
	I mean, it's total non sequitur.
	I don't understand why the American public continues to fall for this.
	Yeah, yeah, for sure. I mean, it is absolute insanity, most definitely.
	And then you also see, I mean, it's just at every angle, it's just insane the way that they go after these things.
	Like, you see with Alaska, when it comes to their, you know, people that have their medical marijuana cards, they were saying that they were going to try to take away their guns and stuff.
	So, I mean, it's just crazy.
	It's just crazy. That's right. Well, I think, as I said, I hope at one level that we have this fight because I think it's going to wake a lot of people up.
	And it might unite people on both the left and the right along the lines of liberty and freedom and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
	That would be the best possible thing that will happen.
	I think it's such a stupid political move.
	That you're going to wind up to try to minimize the political damage that Jeff Sessions would do with this.
	I think in reality what you're going to see are people in Congress saying we're going to legalize marijuana at the federal level to shut this issue down.
	And that would be relieving the pain but not getting rid of the underlying disease, which is prohibition and our disrespect to the Constitution.

	I'm David Knight.
	I'm going to stay on these phone calls because we've got a lot of people who have been holding for a good while.
	I'm going to go to Chuck in California, Steve in Vermont, and we've got several other callers on the line in this last segment.
	Something I did not get a chance to address earlier in the show...
	Where the number of raids that were conducted against convenience stores owned by 7-Eleven franchisees, ICE raids against that.
	And I have to say that I think that is a more effective strategy than building a wall.
	You have to remove the incentives.
	And there's a number of ways that illegal immigration is incentivized.
	Hiring people who break the law to come here, who ignore our laws to come here.
	And this is what's driving open border policy from the Republican side is they want cheap labor.
	And, you know, if you're going to allow that type of situation to happen, you're going to be incentivizing it.
	If you tell people that you're going to have amnesty by doing a DACA deal, that incentivizes it.
	If you tell people that they're going to be able to get a path to citizenship, even though they come here illegally and do other things, saying you're going to be able to get welfare and so forth, that incentivizes it.
	We've got to stop the magnet that is incentivizing illegal immigration.
	And I think that's more important even than a wall because walls, they're going to get around as long as there's an economic incentive to come here.
	So I think those raids are an important part of enforcing the border crossings.
	And as the talk has softened, as I reported yesterday, as the talk softened, we went from a Trump effect where we had a 17-year low in border crossings to now back to the Obama level, the Obama effect of telling people, yeah, y'all, come on, we'll find a way to fit you in here the Obama effect of telling people, yeah, y'all, come on, we'll find a way to fit let you vote. We want you to vote.
	The Democrats want voters and the Republicans want cheap labor.
	So I think this is a very important move on the part of ICE, these particular raids, and they say more of those are coming.
	But let's talk about something that we opened up earlier, and that is the income tax.
	We got into this because we said the IRS has been using private tax collectors to get delinquent taxes.
	And they have paid out $20 million but only gotten $6.7 million because a lot of these situations, the contractors are getting a 25% fee even though they're not involved with the collection because of the deal that they struck with these people.
	But the other concern about this is that there's already too little due process to Thank you, Dave. Can you hear me?
	Yes, gotcha. So, the one thing about the income taxes is there's a lack of education on it and a site that I found that was very informative and educational about the origin of the income tax and all through the years up till now is LostHorizons.com with Pete Hendrickson.
	The guy has done a very in-depth research on it and It is educating people and has shown that people are getting their money back by filing their taxes correctly.
	Well, that's an important resource for people to have.
	You know, it gradually became, and we've seen this pattern for so many times, when they created it, along with the Federal Reserve System, they said, well, we're only going to tax the upper 1%.
	And we're only going to tax them on income, not on wages.
	And now where are we?
	That's the way these programs metastasize.
	And the tactics that have been used, first by the IRS, to say we're going to allow this bureaucracy to create its own rules.
	We just give them the task of collecting tax and we broadly define this in Congress.
	But we're not going to get down in the nitty-gritty or the details of it here in Congress.
	We're just going to punt that to the bureaucracy.
	Now we've got all the bureaucracies doing that.
	And whenever they create a rule and come after you, you don't have any due process.
	You don't have any protection against excessive punishment or fines, they say, because they say it's not a law.
	A law would be created by Congress.
	But these bureaucracies are creating their own rules and regulations.
	So this thing has metastasized and really gotten out of control.
	And now it's a tactic that is being taken by all these different bureaucracies.
	So that's a great resource, important for people to take a look at that for dealing with this particular one.
	But this is a very broad problem that we see coming out of Washington.
	Rand Paul has talked about the RAINS Act.
	Which would rein in these out-of-control bureaucracies that are unaccountable to us, that create rules that are far more draconian than any law that could be created by Congress.
	Was there anything else that you wanted to say, Chuck, about the income tax?
	Well, yeah. One was the income tax was initiated by Lincoln during the Civil War.
	That's right. The other is that people need to educate themselves about the laws.
	They need to take the stuff on their own initiative because the majority of the people out there, they just listen to whatever garbage is being spewed out and taking it because everybody else is spewing it out.
	That's right. So, you know, if you use the laws that are in Title 26, which is the laws that were set up for the income tax by Congress, then they have a really hard time to say they got an act or a rule that supersedes it.
	So you got to hold them to the laws.
	You got to take them to court.
	You got to do all the stuff that you need to do.
	And that's one thing that's been a lack of in this country for a long time.
	That's right. And that's why I think it's good for us to have this fight on marijuana.
	We have state nullification of a federal rule that is unconstitutional, that they have no authority for.
	And I think it's going to be good for us to have that fight.
	I hope we do have that fight.
	And we need to have that fight with them on all these other rules, things like the income tax as well.
	You know, you talk about it first being instituted by Lincoln.
	Then they didn't use it for a while after the war ended.
	He also instituted a fiat currency as well and did many other things that I would damn him for.

	You want to talk about marijuana. Go ahead.
	Good morning, David. Can you hear me?
	Yes, I hear you. Okay, thanks.
	Excuse me. Yeah, I heard you mentioning that Vermont and New Hampshire are pretty close to signing the deal to legalize it.
	And I guess even though it's a small amount, it might not be a concern.
	I guess an ounce really can't do harm, but...
	If you talk to any addict that's been addicted to something, whether it's marijuana or any other kind of design of drugs that are out there, they always start with one, and I guess the reason why they're considered class ones is because they're very powerful.
	They do take over the body's chemistry at, I guess, a cellular level, and it increases the chance of addiction.
	So I wanted to say that, and I also I have a paragraph from...
	I run a small business in Vermont, so I'm finding this kind of interesting.
	And there was a State of the State address that Governor Phil Scott made recently, and the title of it was Stop Digging.
	And it said it reminded us that most recent United States Census showed that Vermont is the only state in the country that...
	A rise in poverty rate.
	In 2016, data shows that over 71,000 Vermonters are living below the poverty line, 10,000 more than the previous year.
	By way of comparison, New Hampshire has the lowest poverty rate in the county country at 6.9%.
	So I see a formula for disaster with this, because if you actually have people on poverty, let's say most of them are getting state or federal assistance in the way of Section 8 welfare, things like that.
	You can do is enable them to get drugs.
	And the drugs are going to, number one, they're going to put them more in a depressed state.
	They're going to be less...
	Well, yeah, let me talk about that.
	Because, you know, you're talking about the medical effects.
	And I think that for 47 years now, started back in 1971...
	When Nixon put in the United Nations, you know, people want to do this if they want to have another experiment.
	The first thing I would say, Steve, is let's do it with respect for the Constitution like we did with alcohol prohibition and pass another amendment like we did the 18th Amendment.
	But right now they don't have the legal authority.
	So let's not trash our legal system, which is what we've been doing for the last 46 years.
	47 years. Now we're in 2018.
	that law enforcement tactics, that hitting people in the head with a hammer, locking them up in a cell, shooting them in the streets, whatever, that has not worked.
	We have a bigger drug problem now than we ever had before.
	And we have more concentrated forms of the drugs, which we also saw with alcohol when we had alcohol prohibition.
	So let's stop treating it like a law enforcement problem, and let's treat it like a health problem, like a psychology problem, Or if you're a Christian, like this bishop who was on Fox News, let's treat it like a spiritual problem.
	There are different ways to treat this.
	I'm not advocating drug use, but I'd also say that if we're concerned about poverty in the area, then let's not make it expensive.
	There's absolutely no reason that a plant that grows like a weed, shall we say?
	That's one of the reasons they call it a weed.
	There's no reason why a plant that grows like a weed should be very expensive.
	It should be very cheap if people want to use it.
	And that also creates a problem.
	You know, law enforcement looks at their success as to whether or not they make marijuana expensive.
	I would say the success is whether or not we're not destroying our country economically, legally, locking people up in jail at a higher rate than we have anywhere else, but let's at least respect the Constitution.
	If we want to have that failed experiment, let's have a consensus, let's change the Constitution, let's have another 18th Amendment to make it legal for what the government is doing.
