[00:00:10]  This podcast tells the story of a kid in his mid 20s named Blaine Davis, who managed to steal tens of millions of dollars utilizing foreign exchange market trading, otherwise known as Forex.
[00:00:22]  Blaine was so slick that once the market crashed in 2008 and the federal indictment started closing in, he was not only able to siphon millions of dollars offshore, but he was able to shift all of the blame of his Ponzi schemes.
[00:00:34]  Onto one of his biggest victim investors by the name of Donovan Davis.
[00:00:38]  Blaine's multiple Ponzi schemes were ultimately rolled into the largest Forex Ponzi scheme in history.
[00:00:44]  Blaine is scheduled to be released in April of 2021.
[00:00:47]  Yet his victim investor, Donovan, the one he was able to shift all the blame onto and the only innocent man in the story, still sits in prison with a decade left to serve.
[00:00:57]  This might be one of the best stories Matt's ever told on the show.

[00:07:22]  He goes, what kind of fraud are you here for?
[00:07:24]  And I said, bank fraud?
[00:07:25]  And I said, what are you here for?
[00:07:26]  He's like, it was a Ponzi scheme.
[00:07:27]  And I was like, oh, I said, well, what'd you get?
[00:07:30]  He's like, well, I didn't get anything.
[00:07:32]  I go, well, what'd you do?
[00:07:33]  He's like, well, I'm innocent.
[00:07:35]  I was like, yeah, right.
[00:07:36]  Nice.

[00:07:39]  That's kind of a red flag that he actually may not be a con man.

[00:08:02]  His family worked hard, and they have money.
[00:08:04]  His family came over from Jamaica.
[00:08:10]  They started off as mechanics, and then eventually they started doing excavation and some land work.
[00:08:17]  And before you know it, it starts taking off, and they end up owning a company.
[00:08:21]  Like I said, they sell dirt.
[00:08:23]  They go and they lease huge plots of land.
[00:08:25]  They go in, they dig out these huge ponds, and they just sell the dirt.
[00:08:29]  And that's all they do.
[00:08:30]  I didn't even know that was a thing until he told me.
[00:08:33]  And it's huge.
[00:08:35]  So, matter of fact, I was going to say, you ought to go talk to his father and see if his dad will put up some fucking and sponsor the fucking podcast.

[00:10:29]  So basically, there's a guy named Blaine Davis, no relation to Donovan Davis.
[00:10:35]  So Blaine was born in, I want to say, Germany.
[00:10:41]  He was born overseas.
[00:10:43]  His father was in the military.
[00:10:45]  He's been in a bunch of different branches of the military.
[00:10:47]  One of the things that, Blaine used to tell people that his father was in the CIA.
[00:10:53]  His dad was in security and did security work and defense contract work, but I don't know if he necessarily was in the CIA.
[00:11:02]  He might have been in the CIA.
[00:11:03]  I think he did do work for the CIA at one point.
[00:11:05]  So he's done work for all kinds of different branches of government.
[00:11:09]  So he was raised like a military brat, moving around all the time.
[00:11:14]  And eventually, when he became in his 20s, He wasn't making very much money.
[00:11:20]  He wasn't going to school.
[00:11:22]  He had dropped out of school.
[00:11:23]  And he started doing Forex trading, but he's not making a lot of money.
[00:11:27]  What is Forex trading?
[00:11:28]  Sorry to interrupt.
[00:11:29]  That's all right.
[00:11:29]  Forex trading is when you trade, you basically, it's like you're betting against the rise and fall of different currencies.
[00:11:38]  So it's currency trading.
[00:11:40]  You're betting that the dollar will be worth more than the euro or whatever.
[00:11:45]  I don't know the exact definition of Forex trading is.
[00:11:51]  But I'm sure I just Fucking said it wrong.
[00:11:53]  Basically, you can buy like options and you bet that it's going to go up or down and then you get whatever the spread is.
[00:12:02]  And they'll do it on like a fraction.
[00:12:03]  So they end up, you can end up really leveraging what you've got.
[00:12:08]  The problem is you can lose everything you've got.
[00:12:10]  The real problem with the whole market is that if I'm winning, somebody else is losing.
[00:12:15]  So it's kind of a back and forth.
[00:12:17]  It's, you know what I'm saying?
[00:12:19]  It's not like the stock market.
[00:12:20]  It's like betting sports.
[00:12:21]  Right.
[00:12:21]  Yeah.
[00:12:22]  Somebody's winning, somebody's losing.
[00:12:23]  Exactly.
[00:12:24]  But Blaine starts.
[00:12:27]  Doing forex trading, so he's representing some guys, he's using their money, he's investing their money, and uh, but he's not making a lot of money.
[00:12:36]  You know, he's he's very charismatic, good looking guy, and uh, very flashy, but he's not making a lot of money, and so he ends up watching the movie The Boiler Room and he gets inspired by the movie The Boiler Room.
[00:12:52]  And basically, the reason I know all of it, like I have all the documents, right?
[00:13:01]  And what he actually tells me, this is what kills me, is that when he was actually interviewed, he actually tells the fucking IRS agent, which investigated, he actually tells them he was inspired by the movie The Boiler Room.
[00:13:13]  Nice.
[00:13:13]  Who the fuck says that?
[00:13:14]  That's like saying, you know, it's like, oh, yeah, I was inspired by Goodfellas.
[00:13:20]  So he, so, and The Boiler Room is a movie about, it's just huge fraud.
[00:13:23]  Right.
[00:13:24]  So what he does is he goes out, And he convinces, Blaine convinces a bunch of his buddies to invest money with him.
[00:13:35]  So give me 10 grand, I'll put it in Forex, and I'll make you, you're going to make 11, $12,000, whatever it may be.
[00:13:43]  So a couple guys give him 5 grand, 10 grand.
[00:13:47]  It starts small, but very quickly, these guys are making a huge amount of money back.
[00:13:52]  So they turn around and they say, okay, I'm going to go to my sister and talk to my sister.
[00:13:58]  Next thing you know, this guy's putting in 20 grand.
[00:13:59]  His sister's putting in 30 grand.
[00:14:01]  This guy's putting in 10 grand.
[00:14:03]  One guy put in, I want to say $120,000.
[00:14:06]  Blaine ends up, the dollar amount varies, but basically the main number ends up being between like half a million to a million dollars he takes from these guys.
[00:14:17]  Friends and friends of friends.
[00:14:18]  He ends up convincing one guy to help make spreadsheets to track how the money's growing.
[00:14:26]  The fact is, the money's not growing at all, it's a Ponzi scheme.
[00:14:29]  Guys are giving you money in, and then when you ask for your money back, I just give you your money back plus a little bit of Danny's money.
[00:14:36]  So you think, I just made 20%.
[00:14:40]  Danny still thinks his money's in the account.
[00:14:42]  Danny's money's not in his account.
[00:14:43]  I spent it on my new Mercedes.
[00:14:46]  And then the next day, when Danny says, I want my money back, I just take it from Bob.
[00:14:49]  I give Danny's original amount back plus what Danny earned.
[00:14:54]  So you're paying new investors with old investors' money.
[00:14:57]  You're just hoping that all the investors don't ask for their money back at once.
[00:15:00]  Absolutely, because then you go under.
[00:15:01]  Well, that's what happens with.
[00:15:03]  Blaine is that eventually he's one giving too much.
[00:15:07]  The returns are too high.
[00:15:08]  You know, he's not.
[00:15:09]  He's not.
[00:15:10]  He's not Bernie Madoff yeah, who was giving him too much money back.
[00:15:13]  Right, Bernie Madoff was giving you enough.
[00:15:15]  That you're doing.
[00:15:16]  You're doing better than everybody else, but not so much.
[00:15:18]  That it's not that it's not unreasonable yeah, and so he was able to go forever.
[00:15:24]  Blaine's not that sharp Blaine's giving guys huge returns and so eventually he can't pay out the returns and one or two people ask for their money back and then he spins them and he spins them and he, you know oh, I'm in Europe right now, or oh my my, My phone doesn't work.

[00:15:43]  I've read all the excuses.
[00:15:45]  How old is he at this point, by the way?
[00:15:47]  Early 20s.
[00:15:48]  Early 20s.

[00:15:50]  That's crazy.
[00:15:51]  Yeah.
[00:15:51]  So, bro, and I mean, you know, anyway, he's.
[00:15:56]  You've got to be smart in your early 20s to at least even know about all this type of stuff, Forex trading and shit.
[00:16:01]  He's sharp.
[00:16:02]  He's sharp, and obviously, he's ruthless.
[00:16:04]  Yeah.
[00:16:05]  So, people are pulling money out of their.
[00:16:07]  He's convincing people to pull money out of their 401k.
[00:16:11]  Get 30 grand out of your 401k.
[00:16:12]  Give me 30 grand.
[00:16:13]  I'm going to have you $45,000 within six months.
[00:16:17]  You're never getting your 40.
[00:16:17]  You're not getting your 30.
[00:16:19]  Right.
[00:16:20]  So this goes on and on.
[00:16:21]  And eventually these guys kind of start grouping together because they do know a lot of one another.
[00:16:26]  So eventually a group of like, I think, seven or eight of them get together.
[00:16:29]  They track him down at his house.

[00:16:55]  And at one point he says, he's like, well, I don't feel comfortable with all you guys are pressuring me.
[00:16:58]  And they're like, we don't feel comfortable with you stealing from us.
[00:17:01]  And he's like, all right.
[00:17:02]  So he signs.
[00:17:03]  And one of the guys, the very end of the video, they cut it off.
[00:17:06]  One of the guys is like, look, if you don't have the money by like Monday or something, they're like, we're going to come back here.
[00:17:12]  He goes, I'm going to come back here with some other guys that aren't like these guys.
[00:17:16]  You're going to be sorry.
[00:17:17]  And they cut the video.
[00:17:19]  So it's pretty funny.
[00:17:21]  But yeah, it's on the website.

[00:17:25]  So, and basically, I know about that whole scam because it was all in the FDLE report, which I have this whole FDLE report.

[00:17:39]  So basically, these guys end up, they go to his house.
[00:17:43]  He doesn't have the money.
[00:17:44]  They say he says he's going to have the money.
[00:17:45]  He doesn't have the money.
[00:17:47]  And eventually, he just moves.
[00:17:48]  Picks up his shit and he moves.
[00:17:49]  And he moves.
[00:17:50]  Yeah, moves.
[00:17:51]  Exactly.
[00:17:52]  So, He leaves Orlando, moves to Naples.
[00:17:55]  Where is that?
[00:17:56]  That's Melbourne?
[00:17:57]  No, Naples.
[00:17:58]  Naples is on this coast, on the Gulf Coast.

[00:18:01]  It's probably like two hours south of St. Pete.
[00:18:04]  So when he's there, he meets a guy named Damien Broomfield.
[00:18:12]  Damien is kind of a computer geek, and he's working IT for some company, and he meets Damien's.
[00:18:23]  Girlfriend knows Blaine's wife or fiancee or whatever.
[00:18:27]  And they end up at a party together and they start talking.
[00:18:30]  He sees that he's driving a nice new Mercedes or whatever.
[00:18:34]  And so they have a little chit chat and they both kind of fancy themselves as being savvy business guys.
[00:18:40]  And so Blaine starts talking up Damien, tells him about how he's in 4X, making a bunch of money, doing really well.
[00:18:49]  They hit it off and they decide to go ahead and start.
[00:18:54]  Or Damien decides to give him some money to invest.
[00:18:59]  So he gives him like 50 grand to invest.
[00:19:02]  Is it 50?
[00:19:03]  Yeah, it's 50 grand to invest.
[00:19:04]  So he gives him like 50 grand, and Blaine basically blows that money.
[00:19:11]  And so when Damien comes back for the money, he says, he convinces him, listen, let's open up a business together.
[00:19:21]  We'll open up a Forex trading company.
[00:19:23]  We'll trade Forex.
[00:19:25]  It's like a You know, like a hedge fund or something where you guys will invest and we'll invest their money.
[00:19:31]  So I don't quite know if Damien at that point knew his money was gone or if he just kind of joined in, but he very quickly realized his money was gone because Damien immediately turns around and starts raising money.
[00:19:43]  Well, the guy that Damien knows that has money is a guy named Donovan Davis.
[00:19:49]  So he goes to Donovan and he says, Hey, Donovan, Donovan's driving a Porsche, he's got a Lamborghini, he's got a Bentley.
[00:19:59]  Explain again how he has money, what his business does.
[00:20:01]  He has money.
[00:20:01]  His parents came here, they started a company eventually, and they buy and sell dirt.
[00:20:09]  Yeah.
[00:20:09]  Okay, so buy and sell.
[00:20:11]  They buy land, they dig it up, they sell dirt.
[00:20:14]  I don't think they're buying dirt.
[00:20:15]  So they're selling dirt.

[00:20:28]  So, they'll sell you the dirt to build up the land to build your house or build your subdivision.

[00:21:11]  I can have a developer come in, put in the roads, and I can sell it off like that.
[00:21:15]  They're happy because they've been able to sell that filled dirt.

[00:21:18]  So, everybody's happy.
[00:21:19]  So, that's what they do.
[00:21:21]  And Donovan, when he graduates high school, he's and he's always been working on it.

[00:22:29]  Damien comes in and says, Look, man, I'm starting this Forex company.

[00:22:36]  We're doing Forex trading.
[00:22:38]  And we're taking, you know, you should invest.
[00:22:40]  I'm telling you, easiest money you ever made.
[00:22:43]  I can make you a bunch of money.
[00:22:44]  Go to the website, check it out.
[00:22:45]  So Donovan does.
[00:22:46]  Eventually, Donovan's dad's like, Look, you know, he keeps hounding Donovan.
[00:22:50]  He's like, look, man, he's trying to start a business.
[00:22:52]  Give him some money.
[00:22:53]  So Donovan goes, all right, fine.
[00:22:54]  He gives him like 50 grand.
[00:22:55]  Well, like a month later, Donovan's made like three or four grand off of 50 in a month.
[00:23:01]  He's like, fuck.
[00:23:03]  He gives him another 50.
[00:23:04]  He goes online and he checks and he checks it out and he's like, yeah, look, I made the money.
[00:23:08]  That money's gone, bro.
[00:23:10]  That money went straight to Damien and to Blaine.
[00:23:15]  It was like almost, it was like a few thousand dollars was actually put into any trades.
[00:23:20]  So he gives him another 50 grand.
[00:23:22]  Gone.
[00:23:23]  Gives him 100 grand.
[00:23:26]  Then he invites Damien to go talk to his family.
[00:23:30]  Donovan comes in and says, Man, I'm making a bunch of money.
[00:23:33]  I'm getting like 7%, 8% a month.
[00:23:36]  That's like 70% a year.
[00:23:38]  It's like 80 something, 84% a year.
[00:23:41]  I'm going to double my money.
[00:23:43]  This is amazing.
[00:23:45]  Yeah.
[00:23:46]  And of course, Damien said, Well, I don't know much about it, but Blaine is a master trader.
[00:23:52]  He knows everything about it.
[00:23:54]  Blaine's a hit or miss guy.
[00:23:55]  I mean, it's difficult to make money in Forex.
[00:23:58]  So, anyway, next thing you know, his aunt and uncle put in money.
[00:24:09]  His best friend puts in like 50 grand.
[00:24:14]  Somebody else puts in like 100.
[00:24:15]  Somebody else puts in 50.
[00:24:17]  Next thing you know, he's raised like half a million dollars from his own family.
[00:24:21]  So, and this is, you know, Donovan's, yeah, it's great.
[00:24:23]  Damien, yeah, I'm a friend of the family.
[00:24:25]  So, you know.
[00:24:26]  I think it's called an infinity scam where you go to your friends and family and they become your first victims.

[00:24:35]  Well, then Donovan gets invited to several of these, uh, of these conventions, these, uh, like, I don't know, they're like meetings where the people come in and you try and get investors and you sell, they sell software, trading software, and they sell different, they talk about different platforms and companies come in.

[00:24:55]  But they also kind of teach classes on it.
[00:24:57]  Well, Blaine's there and Blaine's teaching the classes.
[00:25:00]  So when Donovan gets there, he's like, fuck, this is the guy.

[00:25:03]  Yeah, man, he's a master trader.
[00:25:04]  Well, Donovan speaks with several guys from like, PFG was the biggest forex trading company that was out there, right?
[00:25:12]  They were like a billion dollars or something outrageous.
[00:25:15]  So Donovan's there talking with these guys, and these guys are like, oh, this guy's amazing.
[00:25:20]  This guy Blaine's phenomenal.
[00:25:21]  Everybody could say nothing but amazing things about Blaine, how wonderful he was.
[00:25:26]  So Donovan's like, wow.
[00:25:27]  Well, they keep raising money.
[00:25:32]  Eventually, they come to him.
[00:25:37]  Eventually, they come to Donovan and they say, listen, you know, At this point, Donovan's put in, I think, him and his family put in like $2 million.
[00:25:48]  So they're doing pretty good.
[00:25:50]  So Damien and Blaine are doing pretty good.
[00:25:53]  So they come to Donovan, they go, listen, man, you've helped us out so much.
[00:26:02]  We're going to give you a third of the company for $600,000.
[00:26:07]  So you give us another $600,000, we're going to give you a third of the company.
[00:26:14]  So he, I just remember when we taught, when he told me that, the first time he told me that, he was telling me the story.
[00:26:21]  He goes, Yeah, so they were going to give me a third of the company.
[00:26:23]  I remember, I go, Why?
[00:26:26]  He goes, What do you mean?
[00:26:26]  I go, Why would they do that?
[00:26:27]  Yeah.
[00:26:28]  And he goes, Well, you know, because I'd helped them out.
[00:26:31]  I said, Right, you gave them $2 million.
[00:26:33]  They're not making the whole $2 million, they're making a small percentage on the trades.

[00:26:39]  Why would they give you a third of the companies?
[00:26:41]  Well, I was going to give them $600,000.
[00:26:43]  I said, Yeah, but they're doing well.
[00:26:44]  And they're just going to.
[00:26:45]  Continue to do well, and you're already raising the money for nothing.
[00:26:48]  For free.
[00:26:49]  You're already helping them, introducing them.
[00:26:51]  And all of these people are making money.
[00:26:52]  So, this thing's going to spread very quickly.
[00:26:53]  A Ponzi scheme doesn't need a lot of advertisement, it spreads pretty quickly because it's so phenomenal.

[00:27:04]  I really knew nothing about his story at this point, but instinctually I knew something's wrong.

[00:27:18]  And he goes, Well, I, yeah, I don't know.
[00:27:22]  I mean, I gave him the $600,000.

[00:27:26]  And he goes, Yeah, I mean, he goes, It was a scam.

[00:27:29]  He goes, It was a scam.
[00:27:31]  They came to him, they said, Give us $600,000, and all you've got to do is raise money.
[00:27:38]  So, one, I get you for $600,000 more.
[00:27:40]  And you bring in more.
[00:27:41]  And I bring you in and give you an incentive to raise money for me.
[00:27:45]  And so that's what he does.
[00:27:47]  He has his lawyer look through the paperwork.
[00:27:50]  His lawyer does due diligence.
[00:27:54]  Checks out the whole model, checks out everything, checks out both Damien and Blaine and says, These guys are amazing.
[00:28:01]  This guy, Blaine, is phenomenal.
[00:28:03]  This is a great business opportunity.
[00:28:05]  By the way, Blaine had been arrested several times.

[00:29:09]  Eventually, this guy by the name of Chris Roman Detti comes in.

[00:29:26]  The example is that Blaine at one point goes to Chicago.
[00:29:33]  So I'm pretty sure it's Chicago.

[00:30:02]  And he says, I'm a Forex trader and I own part of a Forex company called Capital Blue.
[00:30:09]  And they came with the name Capital Blue.
[00:30:10]  That was the name of the company, Capital Blue.
[00:30:12]  Why do they call it that?
[00:30:15]  He thought, I don't know why he came with Capital Blue, but I do know that he said Blue, B L U.
[00:30:21]  He knocked the E off because he thought it made it sound more trendy.
[00:30:25]  I actually have that in the thing.
[00:30:28]  They ask, and he goes, I knocked the E off because it sounded blue.
[00:30:32]  Now it's an e cig company.
[00:30:37]  So she hears him talking.
[00:30:38]  He talks to her for five minutes.
[00:30:41]  Pictures her what he does.
[00:30:43]  She says, I've got, she says, I've saved $25,000 for my kid's child, for my child's college fund.
[00:30:50]  She says, maybe I should give it to you.
[00:30:51]  And he says something like, he goes, Our minimum is like 40 grand or 50 grand.
[00:30:57]  I thought he said it was 100 in the story.

[00:30:58]  And what did he say it was 100?
[00:31:00]  In the audio, when you sent me, he said the minimum was 100, but I guess 100.

[00:31:31]  So what happens is they end up, there's a guy named Chris Roman Detti.

[00:31:54]  Then Donovan arranges a meeting with him and he and Damien and Blaine.

[00:32:00]  And he's dazzled and he puts a million dollars in.
[00:32:04]  And he works out a deal where he gets 2% of any money that he brings in from friends.
[00:32:09]  So Roman Deddy goes out and he starts raising millions of dollars.

[00:32:14]  Good money.
[00:32:15]  He's raising some money.
[00:32:16]  Roman Detti really rakes in the money.
[00:32:19]  So, Roman Detti convinces them to buy a plane.
[00:32:24]  So, they end up buying like a capital plane for Capital Blue.

[00:35:10]  So, the investors think they have $25 million they're trading.

[00:35:21]  So, the gap is the difference between what they actually have and what they're supposed to have.

[00:35:27]  Well, what happens is they are trading.
[00:35:29]  And they're trading with a company.
[00:35:30]  One of the trading companies they're dealing with is a company called PFG, Peregrine Financial Group.
[00:35:38]  And that's owned by a guy named Russell Wusendorf.
[00:35:43]  And the company is worth like a billion dollars at this time.
[00:35:46]  So they're trading through PFG.
[00:35:49]  Well, they give PFG the money.
[00:35:52]  Well, what happens is in 2008, there's just this catastrophic correction in the market, right?
[00:36:00]  Because it's coming up on the financial crisis.
[00:36:03]  So the market's just up and down.
[00:36:05]  Well, there's this huge correction and it almost wipes them out.
[00:36:10]  So PFG does a margin call.
[00:36:12]  Hey, we want all our money.
[00:36:14]  You guys are doing it on margin.
[00:36:16]  Well, guess what?
[00:36:17]  It's gone.
[00:36:17]  We need the money.
[00:36:18]  So, immediately Donovan goes and wires them a million dollars.
[00:36:23]  So, he's still dumping money in.
[00:36:27]  He has no clue.
[00:36:29]  So, they lose a huge chunk.
[00:36:30]  I don't know if it's 20, 30%.
[00:36:32]  I forget what the percentage is.
[00:36:33]  They lose just a ton of money.

[00:36:38]  So they lose a ton of money, and Donovan has no clue.
[00:36:42]  Well, then there's another correction, and basically the company is just wiped out.

[00:36:48]  So at this point, they're not wiped out.

[00:37:05]  In liquid cash in the bank, and PFG is in control of that 19 million because they're the company they're trading through them, like they're trading through PFG.

[00:37:30]  They're the ones who are actually in charge of the actual funds.

[00:37:41]  But the actual company that's buying and selling all of it is PFG.

[00:38:27]  And Blaine starts coming up with a strategy to start removing the money.

[00:38:35]  So I'm going to start removing all this as much money as I can so that I can haul ass.
[00:38:39]  And when I haul ass, I leave these two holding the bag.
[00:38:44]  So, what he does is he and Damien end up going to Switzerland.
[00:38:50]  Well, they go to Slovakia.
[00:38:52]  They end up driving into Switzerland and they go to Julius Bear's Bank, which is a bank that's, you know, it's not like a fucking Bank of America.
[00:39:06]  So, they have banks all over the world, none in the United States, though.
[00:39:11]  So, what happens is they go there and they meet with a guy, keep on, I'm getting all this from Blaine.

[00:39:20]  He said, Oh, yeah, we met with this guy at Julius Bears.
[00:39:24]  We met with them all day.
[00:39:25]  They're the offshore kings, and they told us how to open up offshore accounts.

[00:39:33]  And Damien opened up an account, and basically they opened up accounts.
[00:39:38]  He then turned around and opened up accounts with several other banks.
[00:39:43]  And he ends up working out a deal with Woozendorf where he sends him money.

[00:39:54]  So he ends up buying or selling off positions and he has the money wired offshore to his own personal bank accounts.
[00:40:03]  And the reason I know that is because when we ordered the documents, one of the documents I got back was Blaine had opened up several offshore accounts in the names of different corporations.

[00:40:23]  And I have accounts here, or I have withdrawals that were sent to him $75,000, $50,000, $9,000, $5,600, $34,000, $4,000, $51,000, $10,000, $110,000, $4,500,000, I mean $71,000.

[00:42:25]  And Blaine says that that's it, i'm on the, i'm on, i'm going, i'm going to Australia, but Damien's part of stealing it too right yeah, but Damien feels like all the trades are being done from Blaine, and he knows the whole company's going under, and he knows Blaine's siphoning off money.

[00:53:55]  During that testimony, Donovan finds out that his initial investment was never traded.

[00:54:06]  So he's like, okay, the first 50, then the other 50, then the 100, then the 100, then this, then that, then my parents' money.

[00:54:13]  So this is the first time he realizes this is all bullshit and Damien's definitely in on it.

[00:54:23]  So he ends up going to Damien one day and they're going over all the stuff because they think they're going to be indicted.

[00:54:36]  And Damien goes, what if we find some documents that show that Blaine is solely responsible?
[00:54:48]  And he goes, Some emails.

[00:54:51]  And he goes, Do you have those?
[00:54:52]  Why didn't you give them to the fucking lawyers?
[00:54:55]  And he says, No, I haven't found them yet.

[00:55:21]  They talk, they end up hooking them up with, I think it might be a Secret Service agent.

[00:55:29]  Well, something happens and they decide not to.
[00:55:32]  Like, they're like, we're not going to wire you up and have you get information on Damien.
[00:55:38]  So instead, Donovan takes it upon himself and he, I think he uses his cell phone and he wires himself up and he goes back a couple days later and he says, hey, and he starts talking to him about, remember that time, the last time I was here and you talked about finding some emails and he's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:55:57]  He's like, well, what were you talking about?
[00:55:59]  So he gets him to basically start talking about, well, I'm saying, like, if we, like, maybe made some emails.

[00:56:10]  He's like, he's like, he starts talking to him about possibly taking a plea and helping the government.
[00:56:14]  He's like, okay, well, how can I help them?

[00:56:18]  So I can't help them with the case against Blaine because I don't know what Blaine was doing.

[00:56:28]  And so Damien's like, yeah, but, you know, if you just help them, he's like, what am I going to say?

[00:56:33]  He goes, like, yeah, if you say, it doesn't have to be true.

[01:22:55]  So now Donovan's going to trial.
[01:22:57]  The judge is, oh, didn't I tell you this?

[01:23:03]  When the whole company gets liquidated, like they come in, you know, they give it to a receiver.

[01:23:08]  It's a guy that comes in, he looks through all the documents, he tells you how much the company's worth, then he breaks it apart and he sells the company and he gives the money over to the government.

[02:17:46]  And that even as a felon, you can't take that from me.

[02:19:54]  But when I did a Freedom of Information Act for PFG and on Wusendorf, coupled with a request for any information with Capital Blue, I got the FBI documents which stated that you were liquidating the assets, you were liquidating the company, and you were shipping all the money offshore and that Wusendorf was working with you to funnel money offshore.
[02:20:17]  And I gave him the actual numbers of the documents.
[02:20:20]  And I said, I suggest you do a Freedom of Information Act for the Chicago field office for the FBI.
