Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - NEW: Kevin McCarthy Wants To Talk To Elon Musk About Twitter Censorship Aired: 2023-01-27 Duration: 03:16 === Great Platform Shift (02:19) === [00:00:00] I mean, I look today at what happened at Twitter. [00:00:02] I don't believe Elon thought they were doing that much. [00:00:05] Now he gets in the middle of Twitter, and all he's doing is releasing the information, and now people are trying to vilify him. [00:00:12] Well, you know what's interesting with Twitter? [00:00:13] It was sort of amazing, because it came back. [00:00:15] We have Truth Social, and it's been a great platform to say what you want. [00:00:19] But Twitter, I actually like being in that fight because I'm sort of adversarial, and that's what I do, and that's sort of made a reputation of it. [00:00:25] When he even started talking about the takeover, it's like they were burning the documents. [00:00:30] My engagement went through the roof, the files went through, you know. [00:00:32] You had no growth and all of a sudden- I had no growth for years. [00:00:36] I was getting, and they were like, you know, four years ago, I'd say, listen, they're screwing with the algorithm, they're messing up. [00:00:40] Well, how do you know? It's like, because yesterday I was getting 10,000 retweets and today I'm getting three. [00:00:44] Like not 3,000, like three, single digit. [00:00:47] And you knew it and it was obvious. [00:00:49] Then he took over. And for like two months, I was getting great growth and engagement. [00:00:52] But it does seem like, and again, I don't know if he's maybe not as focused on it. [00:00:55] Yeah. But that engagement and the engagement of a lot of other conservative accounts has gone back down to like pre-Elon levels. [00:01:02] Yeah, we got to watch. We got to see it. [00:01:03] I'll talk to him. I mean, it's interesting just because it felt great to have a free speech platform. [00:01:08] And we have like an actual competitor. [00:01:10] And I stay on the platform because I want to engage. [00:01:12] Well, I see the engagement. I don't want to ever seed one of these platforms. [00:01:15] Yeah, you want to be... Well, when I talk to Devin over at The Truth, you can see the engagement is greater than any other platform that you have. [00:01:22] It's just people are passionate about it. [00:01:25] This is where they want to go. Yeah, and they may have changed a policy, but the reality, the employees at Twitter are still going to be 99%. [00:01:31] You see it in the donations, and so... [00:01:33] And he's seen that. He's been able to change it. [00:01:35] I hope they recognize that because all the guys that were actually, if I say even excited about what was going on, like, hey, just give me a chance to compete on a level playing field. [00:01:42] I'll even take a little disadvantage because by nature of the following, I'm already at a disadvantage. [00:01:47] But, like, that seems to have gone back down to almost worse. [00:01:50] There's guys like Andy. [00:01:51] Yeah. Like, he'll tell you, like, it's worse for him than pre-U.R. days, which is odd. [00:01:56] We'll have to see because he must not know about that because he's really changed so much to be able to come out and attack. [00:02:02] But what we find is what we're doing with this weaponization. === Church Committee Revelations (01:12) === [00:02:05] This is a committee that people would call the church committee after a former senator. [00:02:08] Explain that. I heard church committee. [00:02:10] I didn't even know what it was. It sounds like religious rites. [00:02:13] Yeah, no. [00:02:14] It's named after a senator back in the 70s. [00:02:17] And what happened, we didn't have the Intel Committee back then. [00:02:19] And the Intel Committee's responsibility is to oversee all the FBI, the CIA, all these agencies, right? [00:02:27] Before, they were just running wild. [00:02:29] So they create this church committee. [00:02:31] That's back, by the way. Yeah. And they go back and they look, hey, these guys are doing all this stuff in other countries, everywhere else in here. [00:02:37] We've got to rein them in. [00:02:39] And part of after they rein them in, they say, we need this committee. [00:02:42] Well, now we've watched what happened again. [00:02:44] We... You didn't fully believe that it was all happening. [00:02:46] You know, when Devin would come tell me, he said, oh yeah, that's right, but maybe you're a little far. [00:02:49] No, it's worse than what they told you. [00:02:51] I was a victim of it. [00:02:53] I don't want to use the word victims. [00:02:54] I hate that mentality. [00:02:55] But like, I was a target of it. [00:02:57] And I still was like, well, it can't be this bad. [00:02:59] And it is. I mean, they literally just arrested the FBI agent that was one of the leads of Russia, Russia, Russia hoax. [00:03:06] Being paid by Russian oligarchs. [00:03:08] For colluding with Russia. [00:03:10] Yeah. I mean... You can't make this up. [00:03:12] Typical of the, you know, the Saul Alinsky, you know, rules for radicals. [00:03:15] Like, accuse them of doing all the things you're doing.
