Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - This Week Shows Why Woke NEVER Works Aired: 2023-01-13 Duration: 03:09 === Airmen and Airmissions (03:09) === [00:00:00] Okay, guys, it's been a disastrous week for the Biden administration, and it wasn't just the garage gate. [00:00:06] You had the FAA grounding all flights because the Department of Transportation didn't think to update like an almost 75-year-old system. [00:00:14] But you know what they did have time for? [00:00:16] This is the stuff I mentioned earlier in the week that I said I went going into. [00:00:21] They had time to make sure that racial equity, inclusion, income inequality, environmental justice and climate change were part of the DOT and FAA's focus. [00:00:36] In the 2023 budget. [00:00:37] So if you're surprised that the FAA systems went down this week, grounding all domestic flights, you shouldn't be, because it's clear where their priorities are. [00:00:49] Remember, guys, there are no underserved communities when no one is served. [00:00:54] That was all I read on Twitter, and they're 100% right. [00:00:58] That's Washington think, okay? [00:01:00] You know what else they focused on? [00:01:02] The NOTAM system. [00:01:03] As a pilot, I know a little bit about it, but the NOTAS to Airmen, that's the acronym, what N-O-T-A-M stands for. [00:01:12] So in recent times, the FAA changed that. [00:01:17] December of 2021, To notice to air missions. [00:01:23] Not notice to airmen. [00:01:24] Not something that's been around for a while that every pilot knows about. [00:01:28] So it's not to offend. [00:01:30] We have to make it air missions because airmen implies just men and apparently not women. [00:01:36] This is what they're focused on. [00:01:40] So this is their priority. [00:01:42] Pro tip. Zero women in aviation were likely offended by NOTAM. It's an acronym. [00:01:50] No one cares. It's hard to believe. [00:01:55] But again, remember folks, we can't update these systems. [00:01:57] We can ground domestic flights. [00:01:59] But you know what we can't do? We can't... [00:02:03] We can't fix that because we're so busy sending $130 billion to the Ukraine, okay? [00:02:10] That's what's going on. [00:02:11] These people aren't serious. [00:02:13] And I point these things out. [00:02:16] Pete Buttigieg is credibly qualified because he has a bunch of academic degrees. [00:02:20] I go, well, what does that have to do? [00:02:21] Is he a pilot? Does he understand anything about the FAA? Does he understand anything about transportation? [00:02:27] Because all I know is that he's overseen disasters from a supply chain crisis. [00:02:33] Okay? Then he was conveniently on paternity leave for, you know, because only 350 million Americans depended on him. [00:02:39] Like, God forbid, maybe you show up anyway to the borderline train strike and the disaster that went on with that for weeks during a supply and chain crisis. [00:02:49] Now the FAA. And that's what happens when you get qualified candidates and they're overlooked because you put in someone with academic credentials that checks off a bunch of woke boxes because he happens to be gay and no one cares. [00:03:03] That's the problem. [00:03:05] That's the problem folks. [00:03:07] That's where we are and that's why it continues.
