Time Text
Well, guys, so now the Hunter Biden laptop information about Twitter is all out there.
And as the conspiracy theorists predicted, everyone knew exactly what was going on.
It does seem to me, and I'll say this as my opinion because someone will fact check me, but it seems to me like the conspiracy theorists are batting about a thousand over the last few years.
And the highly educated journalists Not so much, folks.
Like, not even 500, probably, based on everything that I've seen.
But don't forget, they'll tell you they're highly educated.
They'll talk to you in the most patronizing manner possible.
But now that we know it's out there, what's really amazing, what's really amazing, now that everyone knows exactly the truth, now that they see the communications directly with Twitter and Biden people and all of that stuff, now... Nothing.
Crickets, virtually, from the mainstream media.
They are silent as though it didn't happen.
And that's the point, folks.
What happened at Twitter was disgusting.
It was despicable.
It was an affront to truth.
It was an affront to everything that a once noble profession like journalism once stood for.
All of those things.
And yet nothing's gonna change.
So I ask you this. While what happened at Twitter is disgusting, despicable, all of these things, how different is it, do you think, than what happens in your average newsroom these days?
Do you think there's any difference?
You know, clearly, Twitter, the people there were incredibly biased.
They were going to do what they could to try to influence an election.
They were going to make sure that one point was heard and one point was smothered, depending on who benefited.
That's clear. It's apparent.
How is that different than what goes on in your average newsroom these days?
You think that journalism?
Do you think that the ratio of conservative to liberals?
Do you think that's any different in your average newsroom?
It's not. It's exactly the same.
What's going on in our media is really no different than Twitter.
Someone will say, well, maybe Big Tech had like 1% more leftist leaning people.
But the reality is this. This is what journalism has become.
And it's no different than the activism that we saw from the Twitter executives and the people doing it.
That's why one side was smothered and one side wasn't.
That's why one side was banned for misinformation, even if it was an opinion or otherwise, and one side isn't.
There is no difference, in my opinion, between what happened at Twitter and what happens every day from supposedly credible journalistic institutions.
That stuff is dead, it's long gone, and we gotta fix it all, not just Twitter.
But at least we know it's out there, and they can't pretend like it isn't happening anymore, though they will try.
