[00:00:15]  What do you think right now of the media trying to say that you weren't tough on Putin?
[00:00:19]  Well, it's a corrupt media.
[00:00:20]  We have a very corrupt media in this country.
[00:00:22]  I think I've done a few things in terms of exposing that, to put it mildly.
[00:00:27]  They are absolutely terrible.
[00:00:29]  They don't want to talk about immigration.
[00:00:31]  They don't want to talk about election fraud.
[00:00:33]  They don't want to talk about a lot of other things.
[00:00:36]  And then they'll give you the opposite narrative.
[00:00:38]  There was never anybody tougher in Russia than I was.
[00:00:41]  And I would say that Putin would, if he was being honest, he would say that.

[00:00:46]  I was the one that ended Nord Stream.
[00:00:48]  Exactly. There was never anybody even close.
[00:00:50]  I mean, Nord Stream to them. Nord Stream 2 was the biggest thing.
[00:00:53]  Nobody ever even heard of it until I came along and complained.
[00:00:56]  And then I shut it down.
[00:00:58]  And there was never anything so big that happened to Russia shutting down Nord Stream 2.
[00:01:02]  And then Biden came in and he opened it up almost immediately.
[00:01:04]  I couldn't believe it. And now we are where we are.
[00:01:08]  It's a disgrace. The other thing, we are, and were just a little while ago, energy independent.
[00:01:14]  We were producing more energy by far than Russia or Saudi Arabia.
[00:01:18]  We're going to be double the size of both in a very short period of time, probably by within 12 months.
[00:01:24]  But we were energy independent for the first time in more than 72 years.
[00:01:28]  And that was a killer for Russia because we brought the price of energy down.
[00:01:32]  We were down at $30 a barrel, $32 a barrel, $40 a barrel.
[00:01:37]  And actually much less than that for a period of time.
[00:01:40]  And nobody had ever seen anything.
[00:01:42]  And that was certainly tough for Russia and other countries because they had to go out and they had to compete with those prices.
[00:01:48]  And now they're making a fortune with what's going on.
[00:01:51]  And we're buying energy from Russia.
[00:01:54]  Right. Is this crazy?
[00:01:55]  So now we're at $112 a barrel and it's fluctuating.
[00:01:59]  We're funding this war.
[00:02:00]  You made us energy independent, which also made us safer.
[00:02:04]  And I don't think a lot of people understand.
[00:02:06]  And you said this on the campaign trail a lot.
[00:02:08]  We have to have manufacturing in this country because what if we go to war?
[00:02:12]  We need to have energy independence.
[00:02:13]  You also said at CPAC you're the only president in the 21st century where Putin did not go
[00:02:20]  after land.
[00:02:21]  He did it under Bush.
[00:02:23]  He did it under Obama.
[00:02:24]  He's done it under Biden.
[00:02:26]  What do you say about Biden taking this Russian oil?
[00:02:29]  He took over Georgia.
[00:02:30]  He took over Crimea.
[00:02:31]  He took over.
[00:02:32]  Now he's taken over.
[00:02:33]  It looks like he's taken over the world the way Biden talks.
[00:02:37]  And during my four years, in fact, I watched Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd the other day, which
[00:02:41]  is not often that I watch him.
[00:02:42]  And he asked, I guess, Blinken a question.
[00:02:45]  How come this didn't happen during the four years that Trump was president?
[00:02:49]  And you know what the answer was?
[00:02:51]  I don't know. But I can tell you why.

[00:02:54]  And they knew this would never have happened had the election not been rigged.
[00:02:58]  This would have been So easy.
[00:03:01]  And by the way, that includes China because China is going to be making a move soon, in my opinion, on Taiwan.
[00:03:08]  And Beijing is up for grabs if you look at it.
[00:03:12]  China is going to make a move, and a very strong move on Taiwan.
[00:03:16]  And I would say sooner rather than later.
[00:03:18]  Now the Olympics, I was saying after the Olympics, now the Olympics is over.
[00:03:22]  They see what fools we made of ourselves in getting out of Afghanistan the way they got out.
[00:03:27]  I got it down to 2,000 soldiers and the rest was easy.
[00:03:31]  And there's never been anything so mishandled, so bungled, so incompetent.
