| We passed a law through the leadership of Senator Thurman and myself and others, a law that says, if you're caught with that, you go to jail for five years. | |

| You get nothing other than five years in jail. | |
| Judge doesn't have a choice. | |
| Under our forfeiture statutes, you can, the government can, take everything you own, everything from your car to your house, your bank account, not merely what they confiscate in terms of the dollars from the transaction that you've just got caught engaging in. | |

| Now, Joe has said that Hunter is the smartest man he knows. | |

| You have all of those kind of things that if, I think, if anyone else, perhaps from a minority neighborhood did, they'd be in jail. | |
| You have the lying on firearms form, allegedly. | |
| People would be in jail. | |
| I wonder how they treat me if there was video of me smoking crack. | |
| And especially if there was video of me smoking crack when my father went out of his way to prosecute the people who did that over a 50-year political career. | |
| Imagine what they would do to me. | |
| Imagine how much fun they'd have. | |
| And strangely enough, the smartest man that Joe Biden owes, which is scary, though not surprising, because based on the policies that he's enacting, we shouldn't be even remotely surprised that Hunter may actually be the smartest man that Joe Biden owes. | |
| That's what's scary. | |
| But Joe Biden's son can get away with it, just like they can probably get away with murder, just like he can be a journeyman artist having never painted anything in his life before and sell paintings for apparently half a million dollars. | |
| He can smoke crack, no problem. | |
| But if you did, or someone from an impoverished neighborhood or some sort of minority did throughout Joe Biden's 50-year career, they would be thrown in jail. | |
| They would be destroyed for life. | |
| No forgiveness. | |
| But Hunter? No problem. |
