The New York DA's Witch Hunt Continues - My Thoughts

Well, guys, it's a sad day for America.
The District Attorney and the Attorney General of the State of New York indicted the Trump Organization's longtime accountant, 48 years, on charges essentially amounting to fringe benefits, you know, like a corporate car.
He got a corporate car. After 48 years of service, he got a corporate car, didn't pay tax on it.
Because that never happens in corporate America, right?
Definitely not a witch hunt, guys, right?
This is what they got. They're able to tie in the Trump Organization because he's the CFO, right?
So they try to do that for the flowery headlines because this is what they've been promising you, right?
The Attorney General of the state of New York campaigned on it before she had any evidence because it wasn't like she worked in the offices.
I'm gonna take down Donald Trump.
I'm gonna be a real pain in his ass in her words.
She's gonna know my name.
No consequence. How is this anything but a political persecution?
How is this anything other than a government abuse of power?
Let's break it down for you.
They've been doing this for about five years.
Hundreds of witnesses, presumably.
Countless hours of grand jury testimony.
Three million documents reviewed by the AG and the DA. Three million documents.
What they've got someone on is he didn't pay taxes on fringe benefits.
Let's break it down a little bit further because they've spent a lot of time trying to make this thing look really long and really scary and really powerful because that's what they do, right?
They're manipulating the facts then because they know they have a mainstream media that will run with it rampantly.
But funny enough, I'm watching commentators on CNN saying, man, this is what they got.
Kind of small potatoes, but that's not going to stop them, because this is what they do to their political enemies.
Again, five years, three million documents, hundreds of witnesses, presumably, countless hours of grand jury testimony, and they got the CFO on not paying taxes on fringe benefits.
I'll break down the math for you.
They say since 2005, I believe, about 16 years, He didn't pay taxes on $1.7 million worth of these fringe benefits.
By the way, half of that number was because my father, after almost 50 years of employment, paid for his grandkids' private school in New York City.
My dad did that because he's a good guy.
Takes care of his employees. Okay?
It was the nice thing to do.
The IRS has told us, and people who've worked in the IRS told us, that's not even taxable.
You're allowed to do that for education.
So, let's presume the 1.7 number probably goes to about half of that.
But let's just play with the full number so we really understand what we're talking about here.
Given what they've promised you for years, right?
They're taking them down!
They're gonna get Trump!
1.7 million dollars over 16 years.
Okay? What does that break out to?
What do you think? Not much.
1.7 over 16 years?
Not much. But guess what?
It's not 1.7 because it's 1.7 in income.
So let's be clear.
The New York State portion of that 1.7 in income is 8%.
That's what was avoided in taxes.
8% of that number, right?
They won't talk about that, but let's talk about the details.
That's $136,000 over 16 years.
Less than 10 grand a year, folks.
That's what this is about.
Less than 10 grand a year.
Now, if you take the schools and you take that out of it, because our IRS people tell us it's totally legit and totally fine, it's less than 5 grand a year.
You're telling me this isn't a political persecution?
You're saying this isn't abuse of power by government officials run amok?
And then just having a field day because they can get away with it?
How is this any different than what Vladimir Putin does?
Seriously, ask that question.
How is this any different?
He jails his political opponents.
A few years ago, it would have been different, right?
A few years ago, they just slip him a radioactive pill or shot, and they die.
Now he just sticks them in jail.
Just ask Novotny. He's sitting in jail.
He's the leader of the opposition party.
What were the charges? Who knows?
No one cares. Our media should be more outraged about that, but I guess because of the love fest of Putin now with Biden, they probably let it pass.
If it was under Trump, they'd go crazy.
How is this any different?
How is this any different than what the mullahs in Iran do to their political enemies?
To make it and take it a little bit further, the IRS in 230 years, we were not able to find one case where they prosecuted fringe benefits criminally.
Do you think the DA pays taxes on the parking pass that he gets to park downtown in New York?
That's like, you know, 30 to 50 bucks a day.
You think he does that or you think it's just sort of part of the job?
That's what we're talking about here, folks.
The DA's office has never prosecuted a claim like this on fringe benefits.
Frankly, Christie's Auction House Helped its clients avoid $189 million in taxes.
$189 million! Not five grand over 16 years, $189 million!
And they did a deferred prosecution where they paid a fine.
And yet, if you read this, it's the biggest Criminal malfeasance ever.
Because it's all optics and it's all nonsense.
Because they promised you these indictments.
Rather than just saying, you know what?
Maybe there's a chance that Donald Trump is just really good at building buildings and managing them.
Maybe he's really good at building golf courses and running them.
Maybe he's really good at building hotels.
God knows we got the accolades.
Maybe he just runs a business.
But it doesn't matter in 2021.
In 2021, you're allowed to prosecute your political enemies.
Right? That's what you do.
It's okay. Especially if you're a Democrat.
Now, if you're a Republican that's doing this to a Democrat, they'd lose their minds.
Compare this to the stuff that we know about Hunter Biden.
You think it's the same? You think it's even close?
Yet they won't even look at that.
They won't even touch it.
But they go after a 75-year-old guy who's worked somewhere for 48 years, done a great job just to try to hurt Donald Trump.
Maybe we can flip him.
Guys, the only problem with that is there has to be something to flip on.
Right? What if there's nothing to flip on because you ran a great business?
You think that in those three million documents, five years, the DA, the Attorney General, as well as teams of specialists they brought in costing, again, New York millions, you think maybe those guys would have found something beyond getting someone to flip.
Because you can't just say something, you have to actually back it up.
Maybe there's nothing to flip because I keep hearing, oh, he's going to cooperate!
He's going to cooperate now!
What's there to cooperate with?
We run a great business.
We run a clean company.
No one questioned that prior to us getting into politics.
But again, guys, definitely not a political persecution, right?
We've heard this stuff before, right?
This is what? Iteration 7, 8, 9, 10 of the Mueller hoax?
Remember, it was Mueller, Mueller, Mueller.
It was Russia, Russia, Russia.
I've gone through it. Don Jr.
committed treason. Don Jr.
perjured himself. None of it happened, right?
None of it happened. They say, oh, Donald Trump's just, he's really good at escaping things.
Maybe that's because he didn't do anything wrong, right?
Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, right?
That was for talking about maybe canceling an aid package.
Well, Joe Biden canceled an aid package to Ukraine while he's dealing with Putin.
Hmm, nothing. No commentary.
They don't even make the analogy.
Say, wow, I thought presidents got impeached for that kind of stuff.
So again, after everything they've promised you, you think this is what they were intending?
You think that the DA's office, who's been leaking all of this stuff selectively, or the AG's office leaking this stuff selectively because we hear about it from reporters before our own lawyers ever even hear it?
You think that this is what they expected or were hoping for?
I'm watching people on CNN say, man, if this is what they've got, it's small potatoes.
Because of course it is.
It's not going to stop the optic of it.
I get that. That's the game they've been playing forever.
They could get away with that. You think that if this was the case that they were hoping, this was going to finally take down Donald Trump, you think they'd drop it at 3 o'clock on an afternoon on Thursday going into the 4th of July weekend?
No, guys. That's when all the people that they're playing to, all the rich Manhattan-like liberals that are in their cars going onto the Hamptons, they won't even see this stuff because if they saw what was really happening, maybe even those partisan leftists would be like, man, this sounds a lot like a political persecution.
This sounds a lot like what Putin does to his enemies.
And they'd be right. And that's why it's dropping.
Late in the week, late in the day on a Thursday, when the city is empty, I'm looking out my window, I don't even see cars in the city.
Everyone's gone. You think that if they had something real that was going to take down Trump, all the things they promised after this many years and millions of dollars, you think they're doing that when they don't get the press bang for it?
No, they're doing it because they know it's a joke.
I'm watching liberal commentators say it's a joke, okay?
And when a liberal commentator who hates Donald Trump's guts is saying, man, I hope there's more than this, you know they have a problem, but they had to do something.
They were forced because they told the American public for so long there was definitely something.
They told them they were going to take down Trump, right?
Our justice system is dead.
The American way of life is going to be dead if this keeps going like this because it's sick.
It's sick. Okay?
They're not focused on crime rates in New York that are skyrocketing going through the roof.
No. They had all their people focused on this for years.
Right? Not murderers.
Not rapists. Hell, they're letting some of those people just go.
Right? They decided not to prosecute hundreds of people that looted and rioted in New York over the last year.
They're not even going to get a slap on the wrist.
They're just letting them go. Whether it's because they're leftist, you know, partisan hacks or crazy, or maybe it's because they were too busy focused on this kind of nonsense.
You know, they didn't spend this kind of time on, you know, Purdue Pharma creating opioids and killing millions of Americans.
But we're going to get Donald Trump because we don't like what he says and we view him as a threat to the Democrat Party because he actually got things done.
Right? He did things...
For the African-American community, for the Hispanic community, things that Democrats talk about but don't actually do.
You know, they show up every four years, you know, with posters, vote for me, but don't actually do anything.
You know, maybe they saw that and they saw that as a threat.
They realized that so many of the other mealy-mouthed Republicans, they would much rather run against them because they'll fold under pressure.
They won't fight when they need to.
So let's go after Trump.
Let's hold this over his head.
You think this is what they intended?
You think this is, honestly, even the most ardent leftist in New York City?
You think this is what they were hoping for?
No, but this will be the excuse to drag it out, millions more dollars, countless hours wasted, missing actual crime going on in New York so they can try to hurt a 75-year-old guy so that he flips on Trump, but there's nothing to flip on.
But maybe they're just hoping that he lies about Trump at this point.
I imagine they wouldn't care.
They'd take that as a win in a second.
Because if you've been watching, you know that's probably right.
Right? They'd take that out.
Just say something. The problem with that is, you need actual evidence.
Okay? Even in this country, even in this system, even those people probably still need some actual evidence.
So, this is where we are.
Alright? This is where we are.
And these people should be ashamed of themselves.
It's disgusting that they'll destroy people's lives.
Remember, they were trying to go after his kid, you know, and then they realized that wasn't going anywhere to do this.
Yeah, that's all it is, man.
It's a game, and it sucks.
Because this isn't what America's about.
This is what Russia does.
This is what Iran does.
This is what China does.
But it's happening right here, right now.
And so many people are totally silent about it, which also sucks.
But we're going to keep fighting.
Because we have to. Because it's worth fighting for.
And we can't let this crap take over America.
Or we won't have an America that any of us recognize for our kids.
