Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - Even For CNN... This Is Too Weird Aired: 2021-06-11 Duration: 03:45 === Thoughts on Zoom Misconduct (03:45) === [00:00:00] Okay, guys, you won't see me do this often, but you have to watch this clip from CNN. Yes, I actually said it. [00:00:08] The Communist News Network, you gotta watch this clip. [00:00:12] They brought back Jeffrey Toobin seven months after he got caught doing a little something-something on a Zoom call. [00:00:19] Now, his defense, he thought the Zoom... [00:00:22] Video was off, which made it okay apparently to masturbate while in a meeting with your work colleagues. [00:00:30] This is CNN, folks. [00:00:32] Watch this. I guess I'll recap. [00:00:34] I'll do the honors. Help yourself. [00:00:38] Okay. In October, you were on a Zoom call with your colleagues from the New Yorker magazine. [00:00:45] Everyone took a break for several minutes, during which time you were caught masturbating on camera. [00:00:53] You were subsequently fired from that job after 27 years of working there. [00:00:58] And you, since then, have been on leave from CNN. Do I have all that right? [00:01:02] You got it all right. [00:01:04] Sad to say. Okay, so let's start there. [00:01:07] To quote Jay Leno, what the hell were you thinking? [00:01:11] Well, obviously I wasn't thinking very well or very much and it was something that was inexplicable to me. [00:01:19] I think one point, I wouldn't exactly say in my defense because nothing is really in my defense, I didn't think I was on the call. [00:01:27] I didn't think other people could see me. [00:01:29] You thought that you had turned off your camera? [00:01:32] Correct. I thought that I had turned off the Zoom call. [00:01:35] Now, that's not a defense. [00:01:36] This was deeply moronic and indefensible. [00:01:40] But, I mean, that is part of the story. [00:01:46] And, you know, I have spent the seven subsequent months, miserable months in my life, I can certainly Confess. [00:01:54] Trying to be a better person. [00:01:56] I mean, in therapy, trying to do some public service, working in a food bank, which I certainly am going to continue to do, working on a new book. [00:02:04] Well, guys, I'm glad he had seven months to think about it. [00:02:07] He's working at a food kitchen to make him realize that maybe, maybe playing with yourself while at work on a Zoom call, whether the video is on or off, is in fact wrong. [00:02:21] Probably not a great idea. [00:02:23] I mean, you know, during the lockdown, Jeffrey, wasn't there plenty of other time throughout the day where you weren't on a Zoom call where you could take care of yourself? [00:02:32] I mean, I would think that you'd be able to make some time. [00:02:36] Between CNN and The New Yorker, you're not that busy, okay? [00:02:39] You guys put out a lot of garbage. [00:02:41] It doesn't take much to come up with this crap. [00:02:43] So, I think you'd be able to do it a little bit better. [00:02:47] I think you'd be able to hold off just a few minutes till that Zoom call ended, but I'm glad you're figuring it out. [00:02:56] I'm glad you're realizing now that it was wrong to not just hold off for a couple minutes for the Zoom call to end, that you could just turn off the cameras and listen to your coworkers as you pleasure yourself. [00:03:07] And I hope... [00:03:09] I hope that they see this and just have that visual of what you were doing while listening to their voices, trying to get, I assume, create whatever propaganda CNN is going to put up next on while you're doing that. [00:03:23] Because I'm not sure that's something that I could ever get out of my mind. [00:03:27] That'd be a swing thought that would haunt me for the rest of my life if I was your coworkers. [00:03:31] And I surely hope they don't think about that each and every time you're on the air, buddy. [00:03:36] Keep up the good work. [00:03:38] We need more like you in this business. [00:03:40] It makes everyone else realize how big a clowns the media truly is.
