[00:00:04]  But apparently Chicago's Mayor Lori Lightfoot reaching her second And you'd be 100% right, folks. That's like the definition of racism.
[00:00:33]  Also, it's not very inclusionary.
[00:00:36]  What about women?
[00:00:38]  What about homosexuals?
[00:00:40]  What about some of the other aggrieved minorities out there?
[00:00:44]  What about Asians? I've heard a lot about Asian hate as of late.
[00:00:48]  Wouldn't this qualify as Asian hate discriminating against them, not granting them interviews if they were journalists like any other journalist?
[00:00:57]  What's really amazing is that numerous reporters reported the same thing and even Apparently, the Chicago Tribune pulled an interview request in protest.
[00:01:09]  So if that doesn't tell you something's messed up, I don't know what does.
[00:01:13]  The Chicago Tribune is that exactly not known for being, I don't know, a conservative outlet.
[00:01:20]  I mean, it's about as liberal as it gets.
[00:01:22]  It's one of the big hometown papers of Chicago.
[00:01:24]  It's certainly the more left wing of the two big boys.
[00:01:28]  They pulled out of the interview request until they lifted these racist conditions.
[00:01:34]  Now, how come the press isn't outraged about this?
[00:01:38]  How come the Democrats don't come out and say that this is absolutely insane?
[00:01:43]  To exclude white reporters?
[00:01:46]  To only grant an interview to black or brown journalists?
[00:01:50]  Again, imagine a white journalist did that.
[00:01:54]  Imagine Tucker Carlson said that.
[00:01:57]  Imagine someone from the Trump administration said, Donald Trump's only going to grant interviews to white journalists.
[00:02:05]  People would lose their minds.
[00:02:07]  And guess what? They'd be right as well.
[00:02:11]  So it's pretty obvious that Lori Lightfoot is a racist.
[00:02:14]  But if you're a liberal Democrat, I guess you can get away with it.
[00:02:19]  And no one's going to say a thing.
[00:02:21]  This is what she said in a long tweet thread the other day.
[00:02:25]  I ran to break up the status quo that was failing so many.
[00:02:28]  That isn't just in City Hall.
[00:02:30]  It's a shame that in 2021 the City Hall press corps is overwhelmingly white in a city where more than half of the city identifies as Black, Latino, AAPI, or Native American.
[00:02:42]  Diversity and inclusion is imperative across all institutions, including the media.
[00:02:47]  In order to progress, we must change.
[00:02:49]  This is exactly why I'm being intentional about prioritizing media requests from POC reporters, people of color, on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of my inauguration as mayor of this great city.
[00:03:02]  This is an imbalance that needs to change.
[00:03:05]  So think about it. So to solve racism, we're going to be racist.
[00:03:09]  That's what Lori Lightfoot is telling us, okay?
[00:03:12]  So in an area, in a city that still has a lot of white people, she wants to make up for an imbalance that has occurred in the past, not by trying to level it a little bit, but by excluding an entire race.
[00:03:28]  That's racism, folks.
[00:03:30]  But again, it's okay to be racist, apparently, if you're a Democrat.
[00:03:34]  It's okay to be racist, I guess, if you're an African American person in power.
[00:03:39]  No one's going to call it out.
[00:03:41]  And that's what has to change, guys.
[00:03:44]  She admits that she's being racist, judging reporters simply based on the color of skin.
[00:03:49]  She's not concerned about the crime and the murder rate in the city of Chicago that's going through the roof.
[00:03:55]  She couldn't care less.
[00:03:57]  Let's make sure we solve racism by being racist.
[00:04:01]  Maybe that's why Chicago has all of the problems that it has.
[00:04:05]  Maybe that's why crime isn't going to be solved.
[00:04:08]  Maybe that's why murder has skyrocketed and continues to be one of the leading cities in the country for murder.
[00:04:15]  Because this is the focus of the Democrat Party.
[00:04:19]  This is the focus of Democrat leaders.
[00:04:21]  They're not worried about fixing the actual problems.
[00:04:24]  They're worried about solving problems by implementing, apparently, the policies that created those problems, i.e.
[00:04:31]  you solve racism by being racist.
[00:04:33]  Anyone that's a moron can tell you that that's probably not going to work.
[00:04:37]  It's probably going to make other aggrieved parties feel even more isolated.
[00:04:42]  And it's not going to do any good for your city.
[00:04:44]  So we all know that nothing's going to change, but at least someone like me will call it out.
[00:04:50]  I think you guys should too.
[00:04:51]  And again, since we know we're not going to get a fair shake in the press, we know we're not going to get a fair shake on social media.

[00:05:00]  When you see commentary like this that you believe in and want out there, share it.
[00:05:04]  Make sure your friends see it.
[00:05:06]  We already know what we're up against.
[00:05:08]  We know that we're working against an onslaught of incoming.
[00:05:11]  We're not in a fair fight on our side.
[00:05:13]  So we need to help each other.
[00:05:15]  We need to boost each other and other similar commentary and get out there and do this.
[00:05:20]  And hopefully we can actually prevent mayors of major cities from going full racist in the future.
[00:05:26]  Because that seems to be what's happening right now.
