| Speaking of somebody who can't say anything that he doesn't already have programmed in | |
| him, we'll move on to this story about Joe Biden here, which just highlights how controlled | |
| the media is and how controlled the information that you see is. | |
| This is a story from a presenter called Sage Steele, who's giving her account of her interview with Joe Biden and the long list of stipulations that she had to adhere to, which included not going remotely off script and not asking a single tough question. | |
| So here's what she had to say. | |

| That was an interesting experience in its own right because it was so structured and I was told, you will say every word that we write out, you will not deviate from the script and go. | |
| To the word, like every single question, Was scripted, gone over dozens of times by many executives, editors and executives. | |

| I was on script and was told not to deviate. | |
| It was very much, this is what you will ask. | |

| I knew that this was a lot bigger than just the wonderful editors that I worked with. | |
| This went up to the fourth floor, as we said, where all the bosses, the top executives, the decision makers are, the president of our company, the CEO, where they all work. | |
| Okay, so I don't think anyone that's watching this that has been a subscriber to Iconic or read your books for a long time will be particularly surprised to hear that. | |
| But most people that just believe the media are telling them what is going on will be quite surprised by that, won't they? | |
| Yeah, because they have no idea how incredibly strictly these things are controlled when they have to be. | |
| So you've got a man in Joe Biden who's not entirely with us. | |
| I think that's the understatement of the century. | |
| And so you make sure he looks good by giving him a script and you having a script, which you can't deviate from. | |
| And interesting what she was saying about there's no follow-up questions allowed, no supplementary questions that will go off script, because he'll look around, you know, what do I say now? | |
| And so the scale of control is extraordinary. | |
| And, you know, As a long-time journalist myself, and of course you're a journalist now as well, it's very, very hard to comprehend the lack of self-respect that | |
| is necessary for you to follow orders, right? I mean, it's great that she's speaking out, | |
| that's good. And, you know, like you say, it's good that people are not aware of it, | |
| hear that and go, whoa, I never knew. But if that had been told to me when I was doing news, | |
| then the next thing they would have seen was my backside disappearing through the door. | |
| Because I would not have done it. | |
| Because you're not a journalist if you do that. | |
| You are a tool of the system. | |
| And unfortunately, because of the financial control, thus the The personnel control of the hire and fire positions in the media, people are dependent on doing what they're told to keep their job. | |
| You know, I personally, I'd rather sleep in the bloody street than do that. | |
| But of course, that's not a widespread thing in the alternate media, it's not a widespread thing in the mainstream media and thus we have the mainstream media that | |
| we do which you can't believe a word of. You also have people that are in | |
| the media in general and show business with exceptions obviously | |
| attracts a certain type of character a very vacuous malleable type of | |
| character that wants fame that wants acclaim | |
| And they know that the best way to achieve that, particularly in the mainstream media, is just to toe the party line. | |
| You know, you don't be a maverick, you do what you're told, you kiss whoever else you have to, and your career will go in a certain trajectory. | |
| And the fact that, you know, those type of people are the ones that are in the media, that's why we see so many people who know what they're doing is wrong. | |
| But they don't care, because it benefits them. | |
| They have a nice life, they have a six-figure, seven-figure salary, they have a nice five-bedroom detached house, and they're happy. | |
| It doesn't affect them. | |
| Yeah, and how they sleep at night, I have no idea. | |
| Because I couldn't, if I did that. | |
| But interestingly, from what you say there, I mentioned a few minutes ago about how the cult, via funding, Controls the higher and higher positions in the media. | |
| Now something I pointed out over the years is to control an entire organization. | |
| You don't need to control everyone. | |
| You don't need to control nearly everyone. | |
| All you need to do is control the higher and fire positions. | |
| Because what that means is you have control over anyone that's slipped through the system and is going rogue. | |
| Well, they're out the door. | |
| Fire. | |
| But you're higher And we've seen more and more of this throughout the system now, whether it's governments, local councils, media, any of it. | |
| You hire vacuous people who are willing to do whatever they're told. | |
| So you've seen this in the police. | |
| There's been a massive change in the police from what I remember when I was growing up to what you often see now, with honourable exceptions again. | |
| And so, therefore, there has been this transformation in the media, too, with a lot of vacuous people coming in who know nothing and care even less and are quite willing to do anything that serves their Their own personal interests, like keeping their job. | |
| They've always been journalists like that going way back. | |
| It's just the number of them now is dominating the mainstream media. | |
| And I keep Freudian slip in the alternative media. | |
| I think there's a lot of people. | |
| that have come into that since Covid that are also of the vacuous nature and are quite happy to ignore what needs to be said to stay within the parameters of acceptability. | |
| Yeah because again They know what will be accepted and what won't when it comes to keeping mainstream friends, big incomes from supposedly alternative platforms, and also, as we said earlier on, avoiding criticising certain people or certain demographics or certain regimes. | |
| takes a lot of heat off and they do that rather than go you know what this needs to be said to hell with the consequences and that's why you know people like yourself who are you know metaphorically the first ones over the top get hit the hardest but you're the ones that have that um credibility and that integrity that stands the test of time when I mean, how many people have you seen in the 25, 30 years you've been in this arena, come in for a bit, flavour of the month, disappear, come in, go, come in? | |
| Oh yeah. | |
| Because they don't do exactly what they should be. | |
| So many. | |
| So many. | |
| And I've never been able to understand how you can come in, see some of what's going on, and then go. | |
| How could you look a child in the eye? | |
| Any child? | |
| Knowing what's coming for them and walk away. | |
| I just cannot grasp that at all. | |
| And this is why Iconic is such a, you know, this is why I've got such a passion for Iconic. | |
| It's because it's a place where we won't bow to this stuff. | |
| And we will say what's necessary. | |
| And if people don't like it, well, they can do the other thing. | |
| Absolutely, it's not about being popular, it's about sticking to integrity and morals, because once you've lost that, you never get it back. | |
| And lots of people have lost that in recent years. | |
| Well, lots of people never had it, but a lot of people in the mainstream media have lost it in recent years, particularly... There's a lot of things that I've said over the years, which were perceived to be crazy, and then suddenly, They start to move mainstream. | |

| I'm waiting for someone to convince me that we don't live in a simulation. | |
