Hello and welcome to this video cast for subscribers to DavidIke.com
Hope you've had a good week. And, of course, over the last few days we've had messages from world leaders, New Year messages, Full of the usual irrelevant virtue-signalling crap, which will have no part in their agenda in the coming 12 months.
Got a headline here.
Upbeat messages of compassion and caring from the world leaders.
Yes, virtue-signalling.
And that's another thing.
World leaders who...
Who are these world leaders?
They're here today, gone tomorrow people, who are either the few part of an agenda that they understand and support, or be the great majority part of an agenda they don't understand at all, but are pawns of it day after day after day, following The urgings and agendas of those around them, the people that are always there, those that don't come and go,
certainly as quickly as politicians do, and therefore that's the structure that is driving this world in the direction it's going, while politicians No greater example than the United States with Bush, Obama and now Trump who are blatantly following the same direction in terms of their impact or America's impact upon the world.
So this idea that We have world leaders and we elect world leaders is a nonsense and it's something that is there to divert us from realizing how the world's really controlled, by whom and to what end, and to focus attention on Left, right, centre politics and anti-Trump, pro-Trump, pro-Conservative,
pro-Labour, etc.
And focus our attention on that, believing that that's where the power is.
It is not.
It is nowhere near those people.
And in the same week that we had world leaders giving their messages, New Year messages, as if it's going to make any difference, we had the announcement.
That the Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos, has gone to the top of the world's rich list with $74.2 billion.
Second is Bill Gates at Microsoft, $68 billion.
Then Warren Buffett, an investor, Berkshire Hathaway, $63 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook is in there.
And Larry Page of Google, $39 billion.
And these even...
Are not the people that run the world.
Those people you don't see.
They're in the shadows. They're not in the public arena.
But the Bezos's and the Zuckerberg's, although he's just a frontman for Facebook,
and the owners of Google, official owners anyway, they are much closer to the real power that's impacting
upon human life than ever the so-called elected representatives are.
The story about Bezos goes, the founder of Amazon has become the world's richest man
after his wealth grew by 25.5 billion this year.
Helped by a bump for Christmas shopping season, Jeff Bezos made 808 pounds every second in 2001.
I guess that's over a thousand dollars these days.
A second, taking his fortune to $74.2 billion and passed Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in the rich list.
The 500 wealthiest people on the planet raped in an extra £750 billion this year as the global economy roared into life.
Well, Their economy roared into life.
The vast majority are interacting with an economy that is not roaring into anything.
Their combined fortunes rose by 23% to more than £4 trillion, according to research by Bloomberg.
The Hunger Games Society, as I describe it, Where the 1% or less than 1% have all the power and all the wealth and control, all the resources, all the media, and they're dictating to a vast population in poverty and dependency with a fiercely...
Aggressive and vicious police state between them to hold that status quo in place.
That, which I've been talking about all these years, is so more obviously every day coming into being.
And it is being driven by some very, very unpleasant people, even at the level that The Zuckerbergs and the Bezoses and the Gateses operate that.
You're dealing with psychopathic people in terms of their agenda and their ruthlessness.
There's been an article in the British media this week about Bezos, headed the $1 billion man.
And the subheading says that's the staggering worth of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos who's just become the world's richest man.
How? By helping to kill off the high street and filling your home with that mountain of Christmas packaging which they have no part in getting rid of of course.
I call these corporations that create this vast mountain, this enormous tidal wave, better description, of waste and packaging and plastic.
They have to pay no part whatsoever in dealing with it.
And on that basis, what benefits them financially Actually, producing packaging and plastic bottles and all this stuff is subsidized by the taxpayer to spend, to deal with it.
And that means that, and this happens in so many ways, that the...
Major corporations like Amazon are being subsidized by anyone that pays taxes.
And here's a story this week on Amazon on that basis.
This is what Trump has been saying.
A post office should charge Amazon more money for delivery.
President Donald Trump believes that the post office should charge Amazon more money for delivering its packages across the world.
And he asked the question, why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and others so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the post office dumber and poorer?
And there is a subsidy of Amazon...
Packaging, postage, which is again, ultimately coming from the taxpayer.
So what people pay at Amazon is not a proper reflection of how much it costs.
And this is happening all across the world.
One of the things I've been talking about for a long time, as someone who likes railways, It's the way that the trucks and the haulage companies are subsidized on the basis of the damage that those extremely heavy trucks do to roads, due to streets, due to houses and their foundations, etc., etc.
They do not appear in the The figures of profit and loss in the accounts of these trucking companies because the damage they do to roads, vastly beyond what a car does, obviously.
I mean, the figure of the damage once you cross a certain weight, axle weight, is incredible how much it leaps compared with a vehicle or something less than that axle weight.
So this is being subsidized by taxpayers repairing the roads, repairing bridges, repairing houses, repairing pavements, which get crushed when these trucks go up on the pavement.
While railways, their balance sheet includes everything, basically.
All costs. And so when you're Comparing the cost of rail travel and how much it takes from the public purse and how much or the cost of taking those goods by road You're not comparing like with like.
It's a rigged system.
And this is what is happening with massive corporations like Amazon.
They are being subsidized staggeringly by taxpayers to allow them to sell at lower prices and thus dominate and take over The world of retail.
That sub-headline here which says by helping to kill off the high street is exactly what is happening.
What we've been seeing in terms of...
...retail and shops, etc., has been a mirror of what is happening in the system in general.
That is the incessant centralization of power.
So when I was a kid in the 1950s, virtually everything, indeed in my early years, everything...
Was bought from small shops, run by individual people, what they call small business people.
And then in came the supermarkets.
I remember the first supermarket, Tesco, being opened in Leicester City, where I was born.
And so...
That then started to destroy the small shops and small business people who couldn't compete with the prices of the supermarkets who were undercutting them because of the amount that they could buy in one go of different products and therefore how they could squeeze the supplier of those products to let them have them for a much lesser cost.
What we're seeing now is the next stage of this, where particularly Amazon, but others too, but dominated by Amazon, they are now destroying systematically the supermarkets.
They are taking their power.
And so we had this Jeff Bezos starting Amazon as apparently a book-selling internet company.
And apparently he started it in his garage.
Well, it's amazing. Silicon Valley, and although Amazon is based in Seattle, Washington State, it's Silicon Valley in everything but location.
These Silicon Valley mega corporations that dominate so much of human life today It's amazing how their technology seems to all have come out of behind garage doors.
I don't believe it.
The amount of funding of these corporations that's come from organizations like the CIA and DARPA, the technological development arm of the Pentagon, shows where the real motivation and the real control of people like Google and Facebook come from.
So here we have a situation now where $1 in every two spent online buying products in the United States goes to Amazon.
And when you're generating that enormity of money, Then you can go out and you can buy up other things that suit this agenda of control, like Bezos bought the Washington Post.
Bezos has bought the Whole Foods chain.
And you will see, I'm sure it's happening now, people in America will confirm.
That the idea of the Whole Foods chain is to destroy the natural and organic small business industry, because with that financial might, He can undercut significantly the independent natural food outlets and organic food outlets and therefore destroy them.
And the thing about control, as we've seen again and again, you can undercut people and undercut people until you've destroyed them.
And there's no competition.
There's nowhere else anyone can go apart from you.
And then there's no one to undercut.
And at that point, bingo, the prices start to rise.
And when people complain, the reply is, well, who else are you going to buy from?
You don't want to pay that price?
Well, you're not going to have it then.
Because there's nowhere else to go.
And that's the idea of Amazon.
You cannot... Divorce Amazon from Google, from Facebook, from Twitter, and all these organizations.
And this article on the $100 billion man on Bezos talks about his absolute ruthlessness.
The problem, his critics say, the article goes on, It appears that Bezos, who often sells products at a loss, won't be happy until he's driven all his competitors out of business and high streets are denuded of bricks and mortar shops.
Some fear that then, when he has a monopoly, Amazon prices will start to rise, which is exactly what the game is.
His tactics with books have been particularly controversial, prompting J.K. Rowling, the Of course, famous Harry Potter author to accuse Amazon of crippling the industry.
Now, this is another area.
What we're looking at with Silicon Valley and Silicon Valley stroke Seattle with Amazon is a incessant campaign to dominate The whole area of what they do.
So in terms of Google and in terms of Facebook, you've got obviously their massive input into the transhumanist agenda and the AI agenda.
But in another area, it's to dominate the circulation of information.
So through the Google agenda, Search engine.
You suppress in the search engine what you don't want people to see or delete it altogether.
And you emphasize that which you do want people to see, which is exactly what's happening.
And this is what this fake news stuff is all about.
And Facebook too, where they are increasingly censoring information that is bad for the system and therefore leaving only information that is good for the system.
And in terms of...
Amazon and books, their domination of the book industry and the book selling and circulation industry means, and they're starting to do it now, they will eventually decide what is published and what isn't.
Because if it's not on Amazon, then it's not going to get out there, maybe not even be published.
We've had staggering stories, staggering to me, through the naivety of alternative reporters, journalists, researchers, publishing books with Amazon and then having Amazon, who have control of whether it's published or not, deleting it.
I'm preventing it to be circulated.
This is happening.
And how people who call themselves streetwise could possibly go down the road of publishing with Amazon, it's just beyond belief to me.
And it's been interesting with the...
Publishing of this new book, my new book, Everything You Need to Know But Have Never Been Told.
It's available on davidlike.com.
It's available in shops, increasingly so, as we get it out there.
But people again and again have said, it's not on Amazon.
Why is it not on Amazon?
I went to Amazon.
Well... We have no control over whether it goes on Amazon or not.
That's independent, people independent of us, book distributors, who decide if they're going to sell their books on Amazon, which they've taken from us.
But the point is that It's an example of where we are in terms of control of information.
People are looking to Amazon all the time about where to buy their books, even though it's available somewhere else.
And there are some books you can't even get except on Amazon.
There are many products now, I'm sure, that you can't get on Amazon because companies are going through Amazon as the only way to survive.
So, what J.K. Rowling is talking about there, the destruction of the book industry, is exactly what it's meant to do.
This cabal wants control of all information that people receive, and of course books is a major part of that.
The article goes on about Bezos.
He's similarly ruthless with his 180,000 underlings.
Ex-staff have described working at Amazon as like fighting in a gladiator arena, with those who show any sign of weakness or illness shunted out.
Other workers, however, say that this worth ethic inspires them to better themselves.
What a life to go into that environment every day with this Bezos acting like macho man and dictating to you and looking for any signs of weakness.
Is that the way anyone wants to live their life?
Bezos also has a volcanic temper.
Subordinates have described a bulging vein in his forehead, which gives an early warning sign of an imminent monster tantrum when someone hasn't come up with his exacting standards.
He sounds like a wonderful...
But of course, when you're operating a ruthless system through ruthless organizations like Amazon, you have to have ruthless people like Bezos running them.
It would be a mistake to suppose that his famously hearty laugh denoted a jolly fellow.
Biographer Brad Stone describes it as a startling, pulse-pounding bray, a guttural roar that sounds like a cross between a mating elephant seal and a power tool.
In fact, he often laughs when no one else sees anything funny, to be disconcerting to his worker bees, and many believe that's intentional.
Yes, of course, because these people, these psychopaths that run these companies, love imposing their power trip upon others.
Another story Has been highlighting this whole area that I'm talking about.
Social media giants are wild beasts devouring freedom and democracy.
We must tame them.
And it's a good enough article looking at the impact upon people of social media, which is enormous.
It's changing not only human society, it's changing the way the human brain works and its chemical and electrical makeup.
But he says here...
It is true social media is making as dramatic an impact on mankind as did the medieval pioneer of the printing press, but we should be in no doubt that Zuckerberg, the official head of Facebook, Zuckerberg's prime interest is to make money from us.
Well, it might be Zuckerberg's, but it's not the people that control Zuckerberg and the people that ultimately control Facebook.
Yes, it's about money because money is control and allows the buying power to dominate like Amazon does, but it's not ultimately about money.
It's about control.
Control of information and thus control of perception and control of human behavior.
So I mentioned there about Censorship and controlling information.
Just before I started to record this video cast this week, I saw this story.
Macron vows to tighten media control because fake news threatens democracy.
This is, of course... Emmanuel Macron, the Rothschild employee and Rothschild frontman, who is officially president of France.
And this story goes, France's media watchdog will be given a broader power in 2018 to combat the fake news phenomenon, which threatens democracy, President Emmanuel Macron promised during a New Year's address to press cause in the In France on Wednesday, quote, I have decided that we will change our legal system to protect our democratic life from this fake news.
He said during the election period on the Internet, content will no longer have exactly the same rules.
He described fake news as a threat to democracy due to it fostering doubt.
and I mean wait for this one due to it fostering doubt and forging alternative realities which
allows people to say that the media and politicians are always more or less deceptive.
So this is nothing to do with people being misled.
This censorship is about allowing people to be misled by the mainstream of politics and media without an alternative version of events for people to consider.
And this is an ongoing gathering theme that you can see all over the media in all its forms of suppressing alternatives.
I mean, look at that.
Fostering doubt.
So you shouldn't question what politicians say and what media tell us.
And forging alternative realities.
In other words, looking at alternative ways of seeing the world.
They don't want that.
And there is an absolute war against anyone who is seeking to do that.
And he says, if we want to protect liberal democracies, I mean, the idea that Macron
represents something called liberal is a joke.
We must have strong legislation.
In other words, if we are going to protect liberal democracies and liberal is about if
you look at the dictionary definition is about supporting the maximum freedom of speech,
maximum freedom of expression, maximum freedom of lifestyle.
We're going to protect that when we must have strong legislation.
In other words, laws against all those things that are defined as being liberal.
And for Macron to talk about defending democracy...
When you look at the way he came to power, where he could have come to power through Hollande's party, the previous president, but Hollande had so discredited that party with his appalling, catastrophic presidency, there's no way Macron would have been elected under that ticket, or very, very much less chance anyway.
And so, with the Rothschilds wanting Macron in as their front man, they decided that they would start a brand new party from scratch, and Macron would front it up.
And from nothing, Macron was elected with a great raft of members of his party also elected, a party that's just been created.
Scandals were manipulated and Promoted by the press against his opponents and in terms of Le Pen.
Marine Le Pen, she was demonised by the media.
And this man that many, many people who actually voted for and didn't really want, but they thought the alternative was worse, it's one of the great ways of rigging elections, was elected as president of France.
And now he's saying we must protect democracy.
