it. This is the Dinesh D'Souza podcast.
The times are crazy and a time of confusion, division and lies.
We need a brave voice of reason, understanding and truth.
This is the Dinesh D'Souza Podcast.
At various points throughout its text, the Holy Bible of the Christian religion reveals signs and portents of what will happen during what is known as the end times.
These signs include the passage in Isaiah warning about people who call good evil and evil good, and a passage in Matthew and Mark that says children will give their parents up to authorities who will put them to death.
Then there's the book of Revelation, which focuses specifically on the end times.
This book details such portents as the mark of the beast, a symbol of allegiance to the Antichrist, without which you aren't allowed to buy food or work.
And of course, we can't forget the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
Deception, who rides the white horse, war on his red horse, famine on the black horse, and finally disease on the pale horse.
Given that these are all things associated with the Antichrist, Satan, and ultimate evil, you would think it would be smart PR to avoid any semblance of them when forming policies that touch the everyday lives of people around the world.
Yet, when it comes to the left, the values and ideas of the Antichrist are central to their branding.
There is no better example of the practice of calling evil good and good evil than corporate virtue signaling.
Think about the standard corporate stance on things like children and gender.
Balenciaga's ad campaign comes to mind as but one small example of countless others.
Also note that these virtues are strongly aligned with the goals and ideals of the political left.
In fact, the far-left ACLU is now dispatching an army of 50 attorneys to Arkansas in order to stop the passage of a bill meant to protect innocent children from insane and unnecessary surgical mutilations.
When it comes to the gospel passages about children offering their parents up to the authorities, we again see a fact pattern that is prevalent among leftists.
In the name of cancel culture, children have been known to betray their parents to scorn and derision.
An example of this?
We've seen multiple instances involving the January 6th cases where children have informed on their parents to the corrupt and politically compromised FBI. Some even going so far as to wear a wire in the home or testify against their parents in court.
Why? All because they want to be woke.
They want to be accepted by their friends.
They want to impress their teachers.
And ultimately, because the God they serve is not the God we know, but another God they've created, themselves.
To them, they are their own deity, and everyone else should live in fear around them and obey their every word.
They deem what is right and wrong, and if you cross them, they'll betray you.
This is the way the left is teaching our children to be today.
The mark of the beast is not new.
Something eerily reminiscent of this was originally developed in communist China as their social credit score system.
And now the WEF is promoting a global electronic health certificate tracking system.
Such a vile idea has no business even being discussed among the ostensibly free peoples of the world.
Yet our supposedly representative governments are going right along with the scheme, thanks to heavy support mostly from those on the left.
Now let's look at the four horsemen.
Deception. Here again, the left has a solid lock on that association.
One need only look back at every major news story for the past six years to realize that the establishment media has been lying about all of them.
And the people they've derisively branded as conspiracy theorists are in fact smarter than their so-called experts.
For war, the second horseman, we need only look at the manner in which Biden, his administration, Democrats, and establishment Republicans have been fomenting war and actively campaigning that we enter World War III. Their bloodlust is so great that mere weeks ago, our nation stood on the brink of nuclear conflict with Russia.
The horsemen of pestilence can be adequately summed up with a certain mandated medical procedure.
That's another Biden administration specialty.
One that he has forced on everyone working in government, including our military.
And finally, we have the horsemen of famine.
Have you noticed the price of food lately?
Where did all the food go that is suddenly so expensive?
And why is it that prices are only expected to go higher?
How long before affording food will become a net loss for most people trying to earn an honest living?
The reason I'm bringing all this up is because I frequently label the philosophies and policies of the left and their masters as being utterly irredeemable and undeniably evil.
I want to underscore that when I call these things demonic or satanic.
In fact, it's a point of pride for the left.
One of the left's main goals is to turn children today against God, or worse, convince them that His laws don't apply to them.
The ideas guiding the left are openly oriented towards the destruction of all that is good and beautiful in the world.
The destruction of civilization and the fall of Christianity is a central part of the Democratic Party's branding as well as a key goal of their most ardent supporters.
Outside of these niche groups, however, people are waking up to the pure inhuman evil that is leftism.
There are growing signs that there is still enough food, good left in the world and food, to resist the class of woke oppressors.
Take, for example, the fact that the only political party organized to resist these movements, the Republican Party, has made incredible strides in capturing larger and larger shares of the Hispanic and Black vote.
According to Epoch Times, and I do a show there, by the way, called Counterculture, Trump's 2020 campaign raised the Republican share of the Black vote by 4 points and the Hispanic vote by 12 points.
Both of these trends continued in the 2022 midterms where the Daily Caller reports that the GOP gained 18 points among Hispanic voters and 22 points among Black voters.
Meanwhile, the share of the vote among Asians increased from 25% to 40% during the midterms, according to RealClearPolitics.
That same article points out that the GOP also came away with a 6% advantage in the popular vote in the midterms.
The last time Republicans enjoyed a popular margin anywhere near that was a 5-point advantage in the post-9-11 re-election of George Bush in 2004.
But when viewed in the context of 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022, it's clear that what's happening is that the GOP is gaining support where we haven't had it before.
In other words, these racial demographics are only smaller pieces of a larger picture.
A picture showing the new mega-maga platform gaining not just with Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics, but with humans generally.
That's encouraging. We are up against the largest corporations, banks and media operations in the world.
We need all the help we can get.
Not to mention the fact that the aforementioned corporations, banks and media operations can't survive financially if too many people become wise to their plans to debase, demoralize, impoverish and dominate us.
Because its enemy is an elite globalist conspiracy, conservatism is growing in its popularity around the world.
In places like Brazil, Italy, and the Netherlands, people are coming around to the fact that traditionalism, faith, and family are at once the strongest bulwarks and the greatest weapons against unhinged megalomaniacs like Klaus Schwab and George Soros.
With Twitter rescued from censorious bureaucratic overlords trying to rig elections for Democrats and daily revelations from the CDC and the FDA that the conspiracy theorists were the ones who were always right, there is hope that the truth will continue to spread.
And with that truth will come ever larger shares of the coveted human being demographic.
More people are coming to the harsh realization that these institutions cared more about their bottom line than our lives and well-being.
Those same people can now see clearly that only one side is taking heat for defending millions who are being threatened and abused.
This path represents a deep departure from politics as usual and thus has none of the same guarantees of wealth and status.
It is a path more difficult and fraught with pitfalls.
While it's not easy, it is the more valiant path In the face of such malevolent hatred, we have to stop pretending that the option to negotiate with this evil still exists.
There should be no question as to whether or not we will fight against globalism.
This fight is after all not just an attempt to hit the snooze button on the apocalypse, but to make its very threat a thing of the past.

I try to eat healthy, but I'm not a big fan of the flavor of veggies.
But I have to admit, when I'm in the produce section, all those vibrant colors of fruits and veggies look really good.
Dr. Howard at Balance of Nature told us that all those colors you see in the produce section equal nutritional variety.
Different colors signify different key nutrients.
If you eat only your favorite one or two veggies, you're missing a whole world of vital nutrients.
That's why I take these six little capsules of fruits and veggies each day.
Each daily dose is made up of a blend of 31 different fruits and veggies, and that's the only way we can possibly get what we need.

Carrie was Miss USA California in 2009 and Miss USA 2009 first runner-up.
She's an author, mother, and wife to NFL quarterback Kyle Bowler.
Carrie, thanks for joining me.
Thanks for having me, Danielle.
It was so great to see you recently at Mar-a-Lago.
I think we saw each other on Trump's announcement night, which was so much fun.
But we first met in Pennsylvania a couple years ago when Women for Trump initially launched.
We were both on the advisory board of Women for Trump.
We're spokeswomen for that. So what was your experience like being part of the Trump campaign?
Oh, it was so much fun.
Everybody was so amazing.
Women for Trump. I loved going on the bus and traveling across the country and just seeing so many supporters, especially women, support the president.
And they loved him.
They loved his policies.
They loved what he did for our country.
And it was such an honor to be part of Women for Trump.
Oh my gosh. Well, what initially inspired you to kind of enter into this crazy political world and comment on it and support President Trump?
Yeah, that's a good question.
So I was Miss California in 2009.
I was first around Miss USA in 2009.
And Donald Trump owned the pageant at the time.
And so we knew as contestants that anything that Trump touched literally turned to gold.
So we signed up and we knew that if we did that pageant that we would go on to do amazing things in life and our careers.
And so it took a turn a little bit for the worse for me.
I stood up against traditional marriage Boldly, unapologetically.
I have no regrets about that.
But from there, there was a huge firestorm that came after that.
And you know who had my back?
Donald Trump. He appreciated the stance that I took, the honest stance that I took, and the stance really that was from my heart.
And it was, you know, authentically me.
And so he kind of took me under his wing and he was sort of a mentor to me.
And he helped me in my career.
He helped me write a book.
I'm called Still Standing.
I mean, I can't even believe that I titled it that and here I am 13 years later still standing.
So yeah, he was just an incredible mentor friend and I used to call him on a daily basis and he would answer the phone and say, what do you need?
And that's the kind of guy he is.
And so when he asked me to be a part of Women for Trump, of course, I said yes.
And it's just been an incredible ride these last 13 years.
Oh my gosh, that is amazing.
And when you think back to when you were in the pageant, did you expect them to ask you a question like that?
I believe it was about, you know, whether you support a traditional marriage or not.
Did you see that kind of question coming or was that kind of like something that was intended to be a political kind of dividing question?
I think it was a setup.
I think that You know, the judge that had asked it.
I actually did a podcast with him.
Perez Hilton was the one that asked the question.
And I did an interview with him recently.
And it was really cool, Danielle.
He apologized to me years later.
And it was so...
Not that I needed it, but it was just, you know, when someone wrongs you and slams you and calls you every name in the book, especially a man, you know, calling a woman the C word, the B word, I mean, just horrible names that you could call a woman.
And then 13 years later, he apologized to me.
It was a beautiful moment.
And I told him that I had forgiven him a long time ago.
But I think that he had an agenda that night.
You know, this was prior to cancel culture.
This was prior to political correctness.
You know, I was one of the first to be canceled.
And I was 21.
I mean, can you imagine 21 years old and you just tell the truth?
That's what I did. I told the truth.
And I got absolutely slammed for it.
But I will say, I feel like it ignited Something in a lot of people.
And here I am 13 years later, and I am so proud of so many people who are rising up, mama bears standing up against tyranny, against this indoctrination of our kids.
And I am just so proud to be a part of it.
Oh my gosh. It was like I was the only one.
And now here I have so many other people that have my back and are alongside with me in the fight.
Yeah, absolutely.
And at the time when it happened to you, did you think like, wow, you know, this is a shock?
Did you think this is going to make me stronger?
Do you feel like it took some some time afterwards to kind of like bounce back from the whole situation?
Or do you feel like it was pretty much like immediately after you were like good to go?
Yeah, I think like my initial like reaction was complete shock.
Because I was 21, I thought, you know, all I did was answer the question honestly.
Like, whatever happened to being able to give your opinion when asked, mind you, when asked, and you're not able to give that opinion unless it aligns with the leftists.
This liberal agenda that was being pushed back in 2008.
The gay marriage proposition here in California, Prop 8.
And I represented the people in my state.
We didn't want gay marriage. We said no.
But yet, You know, there it happened.
So I thought I was representing the people of my state.
And not only that, but I was representing who I was.
You know, I'm a Christian.
I'm a conservative.
And I'm not going to stand up there and give some politically correct answer just to win that stupid crown.
You know, at the time it was like the end of the world.
But looking back, I'm just like, you know, I stood for something.
Look at me now. I mean, 13 years later, I'm a mom and I'm still standing.
And so I feel like God really used me and gave me this platform that he said to me, you know, Carrie, one year of Miss USA, that's going to come and go.
But who you are and what you stand for and standing up for what you believe in as a Christian means more than any of that.
And so, yeah, I'm really happy with the stance that I took.
But it was very, very hard.
It was very hard, I will say, to be honest.
Yeah. Well, that's so courageous and amazing.
And when you think about it at the time, do you think that that's something that also stood out to Trump?
Because he also sticks his neck out a lot and he's very courageous.
Do you think that was something that kind of you guys were able to connect on?
Definitely. Yes. We had many conversations about it and he told me one day, he said, Carrie, nobody's going to remember Miss USA, but they're going to remember you.
And that really stuck with me.
Not as a jab to the girl that won, but just as like, wow.
People are going to remember you for standing up for what you believe in and your values.
Beauty comes and goes and we all age.
But people will always appreciate you and respect you for what you have to say inside and what you have up here.
And so that's really my message, especially to young women.
It's like, Women these days are being really bombarded left and right to hate, you know, to be liked and to have followers on Instagram and things like that.
And it's just so sad to me that people would rather please man than please God and do the right thing.
But if they actually think about it, I mean, I learned that God honors you and blesses you for doing the right thing.
And if you just do the right thing, life will be so much better for you.
So that's kind of my message.
Always stand for what's right.
Absolutely. And even when you think about just today, how the left is so into making women feel like they are not really women anymore.
They are feminine anymore.
That kind of thing isn't really promoted as much.
And even just kind of being in pageants, I think that's changed so much.
Recently, the Nevada Miss USA contest was won by a transgender person.
So what was your reaction to seeing kind of the women around that individual, like, Great.
You know, they were kind of happy to give up their position to this person, which I find strange.
But what do you think?
It's heartbreaking, actually, Danielle.
We are seeing in real time the elimination of women.
And I want to know where are the feminists?
Where are the feminists that, you know, march in the streets and say women's rights, women's equality?
They are absolutely silent.
They're absolutely quiet on this.
And it's enraging, actually.
You see men taking over in NFL cheerleading, women's sports.
You see men that are overweight winning beauty pageants.
I mean, it's like, if you don't laugh, you'll cry.
I mean, that's really where we're at in today's world.
And in all seriousness, women need to rise up.
We need to be the new feminist movement, which is...
Real women rising up.
I don't care what you are. I don't care if you're a Republican, Democrat.
Women need to stand together, align, lock arms, and say, we will not allow men to eliminate us.
That's really what is happening.
And it's all under the disguise of equality and under the LGBTQ plus ABCDEFG community.
You know, it's like, we need to stand up and Fight back because there's so many women who came before us and we're just going to see us completely erased if we don't do something about it.
I have a daughter and if a boy tries to take my daughter's scholarship, which is what's happening, I have a problem with that.
Everybody should have a problem with that.
Women aren't hurt by this or men aren't hurt by this.
It's only women. You don't see women trying out for the NFL. You don't see women dominating in men's sports.
You see men taking over women's In every avenue, in every arena, and it has to stop.
And I'm thankful that you're having me on to expose this stuff because it's absolutely insane.
And it's insane, too, because the person is clearly not beautiful.
It doesn't make sense for them to even win in that sense, because even when it comes to some of the biological male versus women things, it's like, okay, yes, this person is faster or whatever it is because of their biology.
But in this case, it's clearly just only political.
It's not that they even could have won the As that anyways.
And many of the women I'm sure you know put so much work into this.
And like you said probably had scholarships or other things that could have been on the line and now won't experience that.
And even when we think about prisons like a lot of the time it's only the men who want to be in the female prison.
It's of course never the other way around.
So we're always in the situation where it's the women who feel like oh they have to be worried because Someone else is kind of entering into your space and you're not sure if you're going to make it anymore.
Because, of course, if women enter the male space, usually they won't win that sports competition or whatever it is.
You're exactly right.
It only hurts women. So I really am calling on women that are listening to this right now.
To dig deep and ask yourself, do you want to be a part of history?
Do you want to be on the right side of history or the wrong side of history?
We have to stand up.
Why are women so afraid to stand up and say, no, we're not going to be erased.
We're not going to be eliminated.
We're not going to see men taking over women's sports.
We have fought way too long and way too hard to see this happen.
It has to stop.
And it's going to stop when women rise up.
And you know what? Men are rising up more than women.
So, I mean, it's just absolutely insane.
Oh my goodness. And I know that you said you're a mother as well.
Do you feel like this affects younger children?
Because I wonder too, you know, this is probably going to seep into younger and younger ages where, of course, developmentally, they're very different.
And so if you start kind of indoctrinating them at a young age about, you know, gender, whatever it is, then that's going to create a very different person later in life.
So have you noticed anything with that going on with like younger children?
Yeah, I mean, it's interesting you say that because I pulled my kids out of public school.
I pulled them out a long time ago.
We homeschool. We do a little Christian co-op school here in San Diego area.
And you know what?
I feel like I had no choice.
And I know not every mother has that opportunity to pull their kids and homeschool.
But we are seeing total indoctrination of our little ones.
I mean, we're talking five-year-olds.
We just had a few... Months ago, a drag show here in San Diego being promoted by the public school.
Your tax dollars are being used to promote drag shows.
I mean, you can't even make this step up.
And it's so sad that they're targeting as little as five years old.
They have transgender flags and stickers in a kindergarten class.
Why? Why does a five-year-old need to know about transgenderism?
Why does a five-year-old need to know what gay means?
What, you know, any of that means?
And so we really have no choice but to pull our kids and find other, you know, alternatives because they're targeting our kids big time.
Yeah. We have to decide, do we want to raise them or do we want, you know, the government to raise them?
Because that's really what's happening.
They're being completely brainwashed.
Right. And it's crazy because, you know, we'll see polling, things like that will tell us that we're right on this issue.
Of course, morally, we're right.
But also, most people don't agree with this.
Yet I wonder why more conservative or even just common sense parents don't get more involved.
Let's say, like you said, they're not able to homeschool.
Okay, well, they need to get more involved in the school.
Or say, we're not going to stand for this anymore.
Things like that. But it seems like, I don't know if parents are just...
Kind of removed from the situation, although it seems like we're talking about it.
So I don't know if it's just that mothers have changed.
Maybe it's just culturally.
I'm not sure because it seems like they actually do agree with us.
I'm just not sure if it's translating into the actions.
Yeah, there's a lot of moms, especially even here in California, that Um, our freedom fighters, like they, and they are mama bears.
I mean, they are fierce mama bears.
And I was really surprised to see the backlash, um, even hearing liberal California against the sexualization of our kids with this drag show, you know?
And so they came out of the woodwork and they said, we've never done this before.
You know, we, we don't know.
And I said, you're doing the right thing.
Thank you for coming out and speaking out against this and standing up for your kids because it's, It's beyond necessary.
It's vital for our kids to see us stand up for them.
And really, if we don't, then they're not going to have a future.
What kind of future are we going to leave our kids?
That's really the question we have to ask.
And it's so hard to undo things later once it's happened because you can't really roll it back.
And once these things get put in place in schools and sports and pageants and all these things, then...
How do we undo that?
So I think at this point, it's like we just have to stop it from getting worse before we kind of go another direction.
But when you kind of look forward with everything, were you excited to hear that Trump had...
I think he spoke a little bit about this issue in his announcement speech.
And I remember we were both very excited about that.
I was like, yes!
Yeah. Yeah, it seems like it's becoming a bigger issue for a lot of people all over the country.
They're starting to realize that this is a huge problem.
Yeah, I think that 2024 is going to be really big for women.
I think it's going to be the year of the mama bear.
I think it's going to be the year that women rise up and say no more.
We mama bears are so fired up right now.
You see our children being attacked in every which way.
I mean, I'm sure you saw the Balenciaga thing that came out last week.
Absolutely disgusting. It's despicable.
And you see people like Kim Kardashian, I mean, who gives some lame apology, like, oh, I'm, you know, I'm a mother.
No, why don't you be a real mother and stand up and say, I will never wear Balenciaga again.
You know, we need to really just like rise up and make our voices loud.
I mean, that's kind of been my theme this past week is like, get loud, stay loud.
You know, now is not the time to retreat.
We have to get louder and we're not going to back down.
And so I think this year is, or 2024 is really going to be the year of the mama bear.
It's going to be the year of the women.
And I told President Trump that when I saw him at Mar-a-Lago, I said, This is going to be an incredible election because women are rising up and they're seeing that he stands up for us.
He's the one that defends our kids and helps us and has our voice and listens to us.
So, I mean, I don't know if you were there at the White House that one time where he was surrounded by all the most, you know, incredible women who have such a powerful voice and he wanted to hear from us and he wanted to hear what we had to say.
And it was closed off to the media and he just genuinely cares about what we have to say.
You know, look, he has an incredible daughter, two daughters, but Ivanka, you know, she has young kids and I'm sure she's in his ear telling him things.
I mean, she's big on child trafficking and You know, against that.
And so he's listening.
And I feel like he's the only one that's going to really step up and fight back against this because we're going to need a fighter big time.
Oh my goodness. It's going to be a crazy year ahead, 2023 and 2024.
We have a lot of battles ahead of us with this issue.
But Carrie, thanks so much for joining me and being here today.
And I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Thanks, Danielle. Thanks for having me.

Feel the difference. I'm delighted to welcome our guest today, Gavin Wex.
Gavin is awesome.
He actually heads up the New York Young Republican Club here in New York City.
It is one of the most influential clubs.
It's amazing. Gavin, thanks for being here.
Danielle, it's great to be here and thank you for having me on.
Oh my gosh, of course. Well, I really am looking forward to the gala this year.
I'm excited whenever I get the emails because I see, I'm like, oh, I'm going to be there.
Okay, yay. And you're going to be there and so many other very awesome influencers.
So it's going to be a really fun gala.
You have Jack Posobiec and Marjorie Taylor Greene, who will be kind of speakers, right?
Correct. And we're expecting a third soon to be announced keynote and obviously a bunch of Special guests.
It's a who's who in the conservative movement.
Commentators, pundits, elected officials, you name it, including yourself.
So we're really excited.
500 person black tie dinner here in Manhattan.
It's going to be a blast. Wow, that's going to be amazing.
Well, Gavin, tell us, what is it like to be kind of like MAGA, be right-wing, but be running this club in New York City where usually people would think, oh, the conservative movement there is probably going to be, you know, RINO, or if not, they'll just kind of be centrist.
Like, what is that like to be a little bit more like right-wing?
I mean, look, it's certainly a challenge in a place like New York, but I think a lot of people in New York, when they are conservative, they are Republican, they're all out.
They're 100% committed because they know they're deep behind enemy lines.
So us embracing a MAGA, America First Agenda, has been very successful for the club.
It's earned us a lot of respect.
It's gotten us to where we are in terms of our growth, in terms of our membership, the scale and size of our events.
So it certainly has been paying off.
To be principally right-wing and conservative, even in a place like New York City.
Because people are looking for alternatives.
They're looking for a different worldview.
They're looking for people who are willing to fight.
And the whole, you know, rhino, centrist, moderate nonsense, it doesn't really play out in a place like, you know, New York City.
When you have, in New York City, the Republican enclaves, it's Trump country.
You go to Staten Island, you go to South Brooklyn, you go to parts of Queens.
These are people that love Trump, that love America, and that are certainly on the right of the political spectrum.
And I think They're not looking for someone to, you know, try to walk a fine line down the middle.
They want someone who's going to be unabashed, stand unabashedly for the America First principles.
And that's what our club has done, and that's why we've seen so much success.
Yeah. And I think when people have these kind of more centrist clubs, they become lackluster because people aren't really into them.
A lot of people who may believe that way don't really want to go to anything political because they don't really care.
And so I think our goal is maybe more to like red pill them, to bring them to our side, to get them more involved, but not for us to become kind of just nothings who don't really believe anything because...
That doesn't really draw people in or create exciting events like you had or just really any kind of fun or discussion because they just don't really believe anything.
Yeah, it's just not good practice.
Like you said, I mean, we make a splash, we create controversy, we get headlines, and you build it, people will come.
And, you know, if there was any success to be had in building a centrist or moderate type of organization, people would have done it and they would have seen success, but they haven't and there has been no success whatsoever.
On that front, because the people aren't looking for that.
The people that fall on that line politically are just kind of like you said.
They're not as interested in getting involved.
They're not out there. And they're kind of trying to lay low.
And, you know, us providing an alternative, us providing an outlet for the millions of people in the greater New York City metropolitan area who hold these beliefs, this MAGA, America First viewpoint, you know, we have provided a home for them.
And there's certainly many of them.
And even if we may not be a majority as a percentage, The numbers in a place like New York are so high that we're still talking about a lot of people.
And I think people forget that just because the scale of the city and the state and the metro area is so big.
Even if we are only 30 something percent, it's still a lot of people when you do all the math out.
So it's been a great ride.
It's been very enjoyable and we're going to culminate it at the end of the year with this big beautiful event as we mentioned earlier.
Wow. And it's also so exciting because we did really well in New York in the midterms.
And so, like you being involved in political things here, what was kind of something that you noticed along the way?
Because I know that there were many people on our side who weren't totally sure how New York would go, because I think we obviously wanted to win for governor.
But we came very close, and that was still a big victory for a place like New York.
And we won other seats here.
We picked up seats in the House here, which is super influential for the entire nation.
So what did you kind of notice in New York?
Look, I think New York has benefited, sadly, from the...
From the sad state of our city, from how bad the state has become, the crime, the economic destitution, the corruption, all the other issues that have been plaguing this city and state for many years, I think this created Fertile ground for a Republican resurgence, Republican renaissance, if you will. And that's what we saw.
And we saw that in November.
We saw people, or this month rather, we saw people come to the polls and they voted and they voted in terms of a red wave in New York.
I mean, we certainly didn't win at the top of the ticket, but I think it's safe to say that this was an unprecedented turnout for Republicans to get in the mid-40s is unheard of in a deep We saw victories up and down the ballot in the House of Representatives, which most likely helped us retake the House at the national level.
We saw gains in the State Senate, in the State Assembly.
All up and down the ballot, there were successes that were had by Republicans.
And a new coalition is formed in the city and state.
It's a working class coalition.
It's multi-ethnic and it's pushing back against the excesses of the radical left in New York City and Albany, which have turned this city and state into a crime, a crime zone, a giant crime zone and have driven millions of people to leave the empire state for greener pastures.
And people are saying enough is enough and they're pushing back.
And that's why we saw all these gains, all these successes.
And we saw almost a victory at the gubernatorial level, as you mentioned with Lee Zeldin coming close at 46% or so.
So again, reason to be hopeful.
There's a lot of room to grow.
We still have a lot of more work to do, but I'm confident that the gains we made and the realignment that is happening in New York is here to stay, and we can build off of this.
The club can build off of it, and other Republicans and conservatives who want to turn this state around and make it great again can build off of the successes we saw this past Election Day.
Yeah, and it's so exciting because I think so many people are realizing that we actually stand for safety and the other side stands for lawlessness.
But when you look ahead for things for Lee Zeldin, do you think he may pursue things with the RNC? Do you think that that might be a good role for him?
What do you kind of see looking forward?
I know his name is being thrown around and he certainly has a great candidacy to put forward given the successes in New York and how many attribute the wins in the House to in New York to his successful campaign at the gubernatorial level.
But I certainly agree with the sentiment that we need change in the Republican Party at all levels.
I think what we saw On November, this election day was a failure of the Republican Party establishment to really seize victories across the country in a way that we should have seen.
The ground was set.
The stage was set.
And we could have had a massive victory that night.
But unfortunately, our results were pretty dismal.
And I think that falls squarely on the leadership in the establishment who are not planning to win, who are not relentless, who are not ruthless, who are not killers.
And we need some killers in there to really take home the wins.
And we're not seeing it.
We're seeing the same old, same old, and we're not seeing any true leadership or fight.
And there's no reason that a place like New York or even California or Florida can see such successes for Republicans, but we can't replicate that nationally in states that are much more favorable to Republicans.
It just goes to show that there's a massive disconnect between the leadership and the Republican Party voters, and they're simply not catching up with the times.
They need to fight back Harder.
If the left is going to ballot harvest, we need to ballot harvest.
If the left is going to engage in early voting, we should engage in early voting.
If the left is going to engage in mail-ins, we should engage in mail-ins.
We should not be coming in to any political fight with a knife when it's a gunfight, because that's how the left keeps winning.
They saw what they needed to do, they saw what they needed to do to win, and they implemented it.
They implemented great political strategies, and we can fight back.
This is ideologically neutral stuff.
And then once we're in power, once we win, once we have governing majorities, then we can change the rules, then we can reform the system, then we can talk about fixing it.
But we'll never get to that stage if we don't win first.
And we need to put all hands on the table and we need to use every resource available to us to get home, to take home these wins at all levels of government from the federal down to the local level.
Absolutely. And it is interesting because so many people on our side, I also think this, we need to have tighter voting laws, voter ID, all those things, but we can't put those in place till we win.
And so we have to go based on the laws as they are now.
And some states have very loose laws.
Some of the conservatives in California have picked up on the whole ballot harvesting thing because it's legal there.
And so they wouldn't be winning anything if they weren't engaging in that.
So I think that they woke up and realized that that was something they needed to do.
And in other states, we didn't really see that yet.
But I think that we need to do this.
And I'm kind of worried about this in Georgia because I think some of the early voting numbers was showing that it was a lot of...
People in the city, a lot of other people have been doing the early voting.
So we really need people on our side showing up also because we really would benefit from that Senate seat because it's longer than just the next two years.
It's a much longer term that we could have that seat.
Absolutely. And the fact that Georgia has become a purple state is a testament to the weakness of the party.
I mean, we are constantly ceding ground to the left and they constantly are turning red states blue or red states purple, and we're not doing the same.
The only person who I saw flip blue states in recent history was Donald Trump, who flipped many states in the blue wall in 2016.
I mean, these were states that had not been won since Reagan.
We're talking about Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, et cetera.
So we need a strategy that's going to expand our base, that's going to expand our gains, going to expand our territorial reach as a party.
And we cannot just simply rest on our laurels And say, oh, we have Florida, we have our safe red states, and we'll just, you know, just leave us alone and everyone just go away and leave us, let us govern our own little states.
The left is not playing that game.
The left is playing, we're going to come to you, we're going to take over red states, we're going to turn them blue, and we're going to make this a uni-party country.
And that's what we need to fight back against.
And the only way we're going to do that is by getting creative, by getting vicious, and by fighting back, and also going on the offensive.
We should be going into states Where Democrats typically win, like say, I don't know, New York.
I mean, more resources coming to New York possibly could have flipped the state.
You even look last year at the gubernatorial election in New Jersey.
No one thought that was up for the Republicans.
But we also came very close there.
And it just goes to show that if we're willing to expend resources and venture into blue states when necessary, we can see wins and we can force the Dems to defend their own ground and fight on their own home turf rather than coming to us.
So that's how we expand the map.
That's how we keep the electoral map competitive for Republicans.
And we're not in a situation where, you know, the balance of the Senate rests on one state, a state that formerly was a deep red state.
So we need to fight back, we need to push back, and we need to drive the realignment even faster in many of these Midwestern and other states so the Republican Party can be on even footing with the Dems and secure federal and nationwide victories once again.
Absolutely. Well, Gavin, thank you so much for your insight.
I really appreciate it and keep up the good fight.
Thank you so much. Will the absence of a red wave during the midterms lead to a more emboldened Biden?
More pork barrel spending?
Higher taxes? A deepening of inflation?
