Dinesh D'Souza - Why Today's Dinesh D'Souza Podcast Is Not Going on YouTube Aired: 2021-04-02 Duration: 02:29 === Sidney Powell Interview Censored (02:27) === [00:00:01] I'm very sorry to say that today's episode of the podcast, episode 60, my 60th podcast, will not be posted on YouTube. [00:00:11] Why? Not because of my intention, but because of YouTube, because of censorship. [00:00:17] This has now become a kind of horrible, gruesome reality of our time. [00:00:22] Relevant issues can't be discussed because they will be taken down. [00:00:28] I was watching CNN a couple of days ago and I saw Jake Tapper downright jubilant because he was claiming that the attorney, Sidney Powell, had filed a statement with the court, essentially taking back her claims from 2020, essentially saying, That she, Sidney Powell, had not been stating facts, but had only been stating opinions. [00:00:54] And this was, in fact, according to Tapper, Sidney Powell's defense. [00:00:57] I'm not stating any facts. [00:00:59] Well, Tapper goes, well, everybody thought you were. [00:01:01] The conservatives thought you were. [00:01:03] So were you deceiving them? [00:01:05] I thought, wow, is Sidney Powell completely backtracked and taken back? [00:01:09] I better ask her. [00:01:10] So I invited Sidney Powell to come on my podcast. [00:01:14] But, of course, I wanted to have with her a wide-ranging discussion that got To the bottom of these issues. [00:01:19] And right away I realized, wait a minute, if I do that, if I simply candidly discuss issues, getting her point of view in response to a legitimate news story that's on CNN, that's going on right now, I am facing this sword of Damocles hanging over my head. [00:01:37] To get the podcast, the interview, pulled down. [00:01:41] And so I've made a very simple decision. [00:01:43] I recognize it's YouTube's platform. [00:01:45] They are practicing censorship on their own playground, you might say. [00:01:50] I find the whole thing abhorrent, but I have to live with it. [00:01:54] So I'm going to post my podcast solely in video on Rumble, the platform Rumble. [00:02:00] An alternative to YouTube. [00:02:02] So if you want to see the podcast and you want to see my comprehensive interview, you can get them both by going to Rumble and searching for my channel. [00:02:11] Please subscribe to my channel there. [00:02:13] It's a very eye-opening, in some ways chilling, but certainly informative and interesting interview. [00:02:19] I just, I regret that it can't be posted on YouTube. [00:02:22] That's YouTube's fault. [00:02:25] But fortunately, the podcast and the interview are available.
