Thank you.
Hey, Bongino Army members, hope you guys are having a great Labor Day weekend.
You remember what happened last spring?
At UNC Chapel Hill, a group of these patriots.
They were fraternity brothers.
They went viral because they protected that American flag we all love.
It's not just a piece of fabric, folks.
It's an idea.
The most important idea in government in the history of this rock we call Earth.
And they were protecting that flag during a deranged pro-terrorist protest on their campus.
So other patriots from around the country decided to recognize their actions by throwing them a big frat party when the school semester resumed.
And that's what you're about to watch on our channel tonight.
And thanks to my good friend, country music legend John Rich, who put together a lot of the concert lineup portion as you're about to witness some amazing music as well.
Don't miss this show.
I think you're going to really love it.
Stay tuned now live from UNC Chapel Hill.
I love America.
I love that side of America.
It's like we all just kind of connected our brains and stood there protecting one thing.
If stuff was flying in, we would say heads up.
We would cover each other.
I was like, I'd die for this flag.
And everybody was like, yeah, we're not going anywhere.
I don't care.
They're going to have to tear me off.
This flag by my dead body.
We were there defending our brothers and there wasn't going to be anything that was going to stop us from going to that flag.
It's important to stand strong on our beliefs and to be a representation of what we hope to see.
And for us, it's not about fame.
It's not about coolness.
It's about bringing attention to our message.
Stand up for what you believe in.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
When the American flag became, I guess, endangered is the word you can use, when we saw that it started to be lowered and began to be ripped off, especially on a day where four officers were shot and killed less than two hours away from campus, right?
We have a flag that's hanging at half-mass because those that commit their lives to serve our country and to serve our states are being shot down and killed.
That's the flag you're going to rip down?
Absolutely not.
Not on that day.
My friend stands next to me, has a water bottle hit in his face, still has a black eye and is bleeding.
I don't, I really don't get it.
When the mob tried to take down the American flag on our campus, we knew we couldn't let that happen.
We stood guard, we held it up, and we did not let it fall.
It was all about respect.
Not just for the cloth, but for everything that the flag stands for.
Too many people have sacrificed everything for it.
The least we can do was keep it flying.
A bunch of fraternity boys showed more moral courage than the presidents of Columbia, UCLA, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, America's so fed up with people chanting about Intifada, so fed up with nobody standing up for what's right, they donated nearly $500,000 to throw the greatest kegger for the fraternity boys of all time.
Well, I was so moved by what they did that I reached out to them on X and I said, hey, boys, when you have your big party, give me a call.
I'd love to have you a free concert.
I'll show up and play.
We're calling it Flagstock.
How about that?
there's still time for you.
Time to fight.
Time to lose.
Fifteen.
There's never a wish better than this When you only got a hundred years to live I'm 43 for a moment I'm still the man.
But you see, I'm a big kid on the way.
A family on my mind.
I'm 45 for a moment.
The sea is high.
We're heading into our crosses.
Chasing the years of our lives In 15, there's still time for you Time to find, time to lose yourself Within a morning star In 15, I'm all right with you
In 15, there's never a wish better than this When you only got a hundred years to live.
Half time goes by.
Suddenly you're wise.
Another blink of an eye.
67's gone.
The sun is getting high.
We're moving on.
We're moving on.
I'm 99 for a moment.
I'm dying for just another moment and I'm just dreaming.
Counting the ways to where you are.
In 15 there's still time for you.
22 I feel you too.
Thirty-three, you're on your way every day.
It's a new day now.
Fifteen, there's no time to use.
Time to call, time to choose half fifteen.
There's never a wish.
Better than this.
No better than this.
When you only got a hundred years to live.
Welcome to Flagstock!
Fuck!
Thank you.
Thank you.
Welcome, everybody.
Many of you here were one years old when that song came out, so I hope you remember it.
It's great to be with you.
Let me ask you, how many of you here actually participated in rescuing the flag that day?
Raise your hands.
Right over here.
How many of you are parents Of these young men and women who rescued the flags.
Mom and dads, good job.
Well, let me be the first to thank you.
To thank you.
You know, in this day and age, common acts of patriotism tend to be few and far between.
And you set a great example for our country, particularly on our college campuses, That have run amok with anti-Semitism and radicalism.
It breaks my heart actually to look at you guys, even though you look like you're having a good time, and understand that you didn't ask for this.
I wish we didn't have to be here.
I wish this didn't have to happen.
You didn't ask for this.
What did you do?
You worked really hard.
You got good grades.
You took 12 AP classes.
Maybe you're good at basketball.
To get into the school of your dreams.
But now you find yourself on the front lines of those trying to tear civilization down.
That breaks my heart.
But you did the right thing when so many others did not.
It is critical we stand up to the faculty that indoctrinates our kids with hatred and radicalism.
It is critical That we stand up to the administrators and presidents of the universities across our nation that enable, encourage, and sometimes support the mobs running amok.
Just two days ago at Pitt, we saw two Jewish kids assaulted.
At my alma mater, UCLA, when a judge ordered UCLA that they had to allow Jewish students to freely walk across campus Initially, UCLA appealed that ruling.
We are not okay.
Something's broken in America.
Another group we have to talk about and recognize are your fellow students who have been seduced by this dogma.
Because many of them believe they're doing something virtuous.
I've talked to them.
You've talked to them.
You sit next to them in class.
And they will tell you, I believe in human rights.
I believe in women's rights.
I believe in gay rights.
But they're the same students that will chant Intifada, river to the sea, implying death to Jews.
They're the same students that will rip down posters of women who were raped at the Nova Festival.
Queers for Palestine, if they went to Gaza, would be murdered and tortured.
So it's a cult.
We have to save them.
We have to think about them.
Certainly, everybody has the right to free speech.
Your fellow students, your faculty, your presidents.
But we have the right to free speech, too.
And that's what tonight is all about.
Many people like to say, well, the silent majority gets it.
Thank you.
Well, if the silent majority remains silent too long, they become the silent minority.
And your example, I think, gives all of us hope.
It gives all of us hope.
So we have a lot to do.
And here's the good news.
You are not alone in this.
You are not alone in this.
Every person on this stage has your back.
Tens of millions of Americans have your back.
This fall, when the mobs start coming up and the protests begin, which they will, you know a guy.
You know a bunch of guys.
We will come to your school.
If you're watching this on the live stream, 5forfighting.com, email John.
We will come to your school.
We will stand with you.
We will stand with the Jewish kids.
I am not Jewish.
You do not have to be Jewish to condemn Hamas.
You just have to be human.
We will come to your school.
I've met some of you already.
You have my cell phone number.
I'll meet the rest of you later.
I haven't done a beer bong in 40 years, but I'm willing to try.
You will have my cell phone number because we have to stand up.
We have to stand up.
America is by no means perfect.
In a sense, we are fighting for her soul right now.
But in my mind, America is still the greatest hope for freedom, liberty, and all that is good in the world.
And we will...
And let me say one more thing.
When I say stand up, I don't mean with violence, certainly not.
I don't mean with intimidation.
I mean with fortitude, compassion, and the knowing that we are in the right.
And we'll do this together.
It's a melancholy day for many of us.
It's a hard day.
Just two days ago, we lost the first American hostage, Hearst Goldberg.
His mother, Rachel, and I have been working on many projects.
We're all broken.
We're all grieving.
We don't understand.
Part of me didn't want to come here today.
But I know Rachel and all the hostage families want us to continue their fight.
So as I play Superman, let's say a prayer for all our hostages, all the hostage families.
I can't stand to fly.
I'm not that naive.
I'm just out to find the better part of me.
I'm more than a bird.
I'm more than a plane.
More than some pretty face beside a train.
And it's not easy to be me.
that I could cry.
Fall upon my knees.
Find a way to lie.
But a home I'll never see In this out of sight Don't be naive Even heroes have the right to bleed I may be disturbed Won't you conceive?
Even heroes have the right to dream It's not easy to be I can't
stand to fly.
I'm not that naive.
Men were meant to ride with clouds between their knees.
I'm only a man in a funny red sheet, digging for a print tonight on this one-way street.
Only a man in a funny red sheet, looking for special things inside of me.
Inside of me.
I'm only a man in a funny red sheet, only a man looking for a dream.
Only a man in a funny red sheet.
It's not easy.
It's not easy to be me.
Me.
It's not easy.
Thanks, guys.
All right, we got a great show for you.
Aaron's coming.
Cowboy's coming.
Big and rich are going to hit the stage very soon.
Part of my job is to warm up your voices.
I know you were born long before me, but we all know this song, so sing along, sing loud, and we'll let your fellow students a few miles from here know that we're doing this, alright?
Here we go.
You know this song.
Is this the real life?
Or is this just...
I see you know this song.
Am I caught in a landslide with no escape from reality?
Open your eyes.
Look up to the skies and see.
I'm just a poor boy.
I need no sympathy.
Cause I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low.
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me.
You guys ready?
To me Mama just killed a man Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now it's dead.
Mama, life had just begun, but now I've gone and thrown it all away.
Mama, whoo, didn't mean to make you cry, if I'm not back again this time tomorrow.
Carry on, carry on, does it nothing really matter?
You guys sound good Too late My time has come.
Sends shivers down my spine.
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, we've got to go Gotta leave it all behind and face the truth Mama, ooh, ooh, ooh
Sometimes I wish I never was born at all guitar solo
Alright, here you go, your turn guitar solo
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
Oh, baby.
Can't do this to me, baby.
Just gotta get out Just gotta get right out of here Three, four Ooh, yeah, ooh, yeah
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Nothing really matters Anyone can see.
Nothing really matters.
Nothing really matters to me Anywhere the wind blows
God bless America!
Do the right thing!
Fight the good fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. John Andrasik.
Five for five and give it up Patriot.
Good to see you sir.
Put your hands together for this man one more time.
Let him hear you one time.
It's good to be in the great state of North Carolina.
Can I get a yee-haw?
We come here tonight to celebrate our flag.
To celebrate our patriotism and to show our love for the United States of America.
Can I get a hell yeah one time from these good folks in North Carolina?
Come on!
You got a lot of music coming up tonight.
A lot of people on Labor Day have decided to take time off, fly out here, take buses up here.
To entertain you, to recognize those young men that saved our flag.
Before I introduce the next talent up here tonight, the next major artist, we did do a little raffle tonight just to have some fun.
Does anybody want a shot at a free guitar signed by all the artists tonight?
Yeah?
Oh yeah, this is it.
Looks like that.
Anybody want that one?
That looks pretty good.
Alright, let's see who won.
They put it in my back pocket.
Anybody named Ava Hall out in this crowd?
Ava Hall, where you at Ava?
Oh, you're here!
Ava, this is your guitar sister.
How do you feel tonight?
Great.
And what are your thoughts about flag stock and what you see going on here in North Carolina?
Go USA! Hey, congratulations.
We'll sing Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy in that art for a little bit later on, yeah?
Put your hands together.
She's the winner, ladies and gentlemen.
and give it up.
I know there's a lot of patriots out here.
I would assume if you're in this field tonight, you are a patriot.
Would that be correct?
Tonight's celebration was not for the general public.
Had we said, general public, come on in tonight, there would probably be 20,000 to 30,000 people out here.
All kinds of people wanted to come tonight.
Not only from North Carolina, from all over the US, they were hitting us up.
And we said, well, we appreciate that, but guess what?
There was a deal made.
I put out a little tweet, I still call it Twitter, on X, and I said, if anybody can get word to the boys of UNC that I'll come play them a free concert as a thank you for saving our flag, we'll make it happen for them.
And a lot of people talk But not in country music.
In country music, if we say we're gonna do it, by God, we show up in your hometown and we make it happen.
Can I get a hell yeah one time?
So a big thanks to all the artists, all the sound guys, the crew guys, everybody that built these stages.
This stuff, a lot of it was donated.
They did it on their own dime.
You know why?
Because they know there's only one of two choices coming up here soon.
It's communism versus freedom, and we're going to pick freedom every single time.
I called a friend of mine, a guy I've known for a long time.
He's an outspoken patriot.
He loves our flag.
He loves the men and women who serve underneath that flag.
And when I called him and said, hey man, it's on Labor Day, he said, well, normally I'd be probably taking it easy.
What is it called again?
I said, it's called Flagstock!
It's called Flagstock!
He said, anything called flag stock, you count me in, cousin.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage, multi-platinum artist and a patriot all the way to the core, Mr. Aaron Lewis.
Put your hands together for the man.
Put your hands together.
Put your hands together.
I don't have a guitar yet, so...
Since we're waiting, can I get a little more vocal?
More vocal.
More vocal.
.
Well, good evening.
Good evening.
Good evening.
All right.
This is a true story.
Oh.
Well, I grew up down an old town, grown in a town you wouldn't know.
Bops picked the place up for $1,500 back in 1964. My grandfather was a drinker back in the day He put them down But the war is known to change a man And the whiskey is known to change a man That's not me I
might drink a lot of whiskey And I've smoked a lot of weed Still live in the sticks where you wouldn't go.
A town of twelve hundred, I'm an old dirt bro.
And a country boy is all I'll ever be It's been 25 years since I sold my soul
And the devil in L.A. Said sign your name here on the dotted line And your songs they all will play He said, I'm shopped on Sunset and he put me up at the marquee.
He said, want to sell a million records for me?
Better listen to me.
He said, change your style, whiten your smile.
You can lose a couple of pounds.
If you want to live this life, you better lose that wife.
Do you need your friends around?
I said, shit, Jordan, that's not me.
Cause the biggest things in life are your friends and family And I like my jeans and my old t-shirts A couple extra pounds never really hurt Cause a country boy is all I'll ever be Cause Hank taught me just how to stay alive You
never catch me out the house without my 9-on-45.
I got a big orange tractor and a diesel truck.
And my idea of heaven's chasing whitetail bucks.
And as a country boy, I know I can survive
Now two flags fly above my land That really sum up how I feel One is the colors I fly high and proud The red, the white, the blue The other one's got a rattlesnake With a simple statement made
Don't tread on me, is what it says and it's written across my face fucking neck Because This is me I'm proud to be American and strong in my belief.
And I've said it before, but I'll say it again.
Cause I've never needed presidents to hold my hand.
And I've said it before, but I'll say it again.
Cause my family's always fought and died to save this land.
And a country boy is all I'll ever be.
All right.
I know this is super high energy, high impact music. music.
Don't fall asleep on me, okay?
I'm kidding.
singing.
I think you're just as fired up as I am.
I'm going to let you know up front I swear a little bit in this one.
I'm going to let you know up front I swear a little bit in this one.
I was sitting around one day with a buddy of mine and started looking around the room and realized that I was surrounded by all stuff that was made in China.
And my first thought was, well, shit, I ain't made in China.
So I wrote a song about it.
I ain't made in China I'm all the cheapest parts And I ain't one for driving Them imported foreign cars
I'm more like American Muscle From 1966 Cause I ain't made in China I'm American as it goes
can I ain't made by a Uyghur kid for pennies on the dollar.
I'm made in the USA. It says so on my collar.
I'm tried and true, red, white, and blue.
My roots run way too thick.
Cause I ain't made in China Cause I'm American as it gets And I'm head over hard doing my part to love the flag That drapes over the caskets Of the ones who don't come back I'm a gun-toed and locked and loaded God
I'm not fearing, son of a bitch.
Lord knows I ain't made in China.
Cause I'm American as it gets.
Red-blooded as they come.
I'll die for being free.
I'm proud of where I'm from.
You proud of where you're from?
And I ain't selling a many of mine, and I ain't buying theirs either.
If you got something to say about that, well, you can suck my dick.
Cause I ain't made in China Cause I'm American as it gets And I'm had over hard doing We're good to love the flag That drapes over the caskets Of the ones who don't come back I'm a gun-toed and locked and loaded God-fearing
son of a bitch Lord knows I ain't made in China Cause I'm American as it gets Lord knows I ain't made in China Cause I'm American As it gets So
this next song is...
I have noticed, when I look around this world right now, I've noticed that they have systematically removed the Word of God from pretty much every aspect of our life.
And that was a huge part of the fabric that held this country together, because we were one nation under God.
Indivisible about that.
That was like one of the things that was really holding this whole thing together and they've systematically removed it from our culture and from our television and from everything basically.
Well, I know better.
And this song is about all the conversations that we're gonna have at the end of our road with our maker.
The song is called Everybody Talks to God.
He was saying grace over a Tuesday blue plane special
When the man in the next booth said Don't you watch TV And don't you know that God's a myth
I hate to see you waste your breath Cause there ain't no use talking To ghosts that don't exist The praying man said amen And looked up from his way He said you may not talk to God right now But there's gonna come a day Cause whether you're a farmer in the field Prayin'
for the rain Or you curse him at the graveside And he called one wolf's name And you can thank him, you can blame him Either way you're gonna face him Whether you believe in him or not Cause in the end Everybody talks to God
Well, the man in the booth went quiet Because he didn't have a comeback So he chugged off and paid his tack And shuffled out the door And the praying
man he prayed For the man who drove away Hoping he would see the light Before it got too late But how was he to know He touched a non-believer's soul.
We've got that conversation.
Two red lights down the road.
Sweaty or bomber in the field.
Prayin' for the rain.
Oh, you curse him at the grave site.
And he called a loved one's name.
And you can thank him, you can blame him.
And either way you're gonna face him.
Whether you believe in Cause in the end Everybody talks to God Everybody talks to God And you can thank Him,
you can blame Him Either way you're gonna face Him Whether you believe in Him or not Cause in the end Everybody talks to God Everybody talks to God Yeah,
We all talk to God Everybody talks to God We all talk
to God
We all talk to God
We all talk to God I guess I skipped a song.
All right,
this song ain't about fishing. . this song ain't about fishing. .
. .
You gotta work two jobs And rob a bank To put food on your table And gas in your tank And everybody knows Who's to blame But I ain't gonna worry About none of that shit today So let's go fishing Let's
go wishin' On a star in the dark in the middle of the night The world's gone crazy and the shit ain't right Let's go ridin' A little backwoods hidin' It's all so fucked up I can't standin' Let's go carryin' Let's go brandin' Let's go fishin' And fuck Joe Biden.
We need to make America great again.
And turn right on a two-track.
And turn off CNN. And let's go fishing.
And let's go wishing.
On a star in the dark in the middle of the night The world's gone crazy and the shit ain't right Let's go ridin' A little backwards hidin' It's all so fucked up I can't stand it Let's go carryin' Let's go brandin' Let's go fishin' And fuck Joe Biden Take
your foot off the gas This ain't a NASCAR race Just give it all back And put a smile on your face And let's go fishin' Let's go wishin' On a star in the dark in the middle of the night.
The world's gone crazy and the shit ain't right.
Let's go riding.
A little backwards hiding.
It's all so fucked up I can't stand it.
Let's go carrying.
Let's go branding.
Let's go fishing.
and buck Joe Biden Did you say free bird?
If I leave here tomorrow Here you go.
Here you go.
This is a song I wrote a long, long time ago.
Before most of you were born.
For all I know, this could be baby-making music.
I don't know.
In a weird way, I could have been there when you were conceived.
I don't know.
It's been a while since I could Hold my head up high It's been a while since I first saw you And it's been a while since I could stand On my own two feet again And it's been a while since I could
call you And everything I can remember Has fucked up as it all may seem The consequences that were entered I
stretched myself beyond my means So it's been a while since I could say that I wasn't addicted and it's been a while since I could say I love myself as well and It's been a while Since I've gone
and fucked things up Just like I always do It's been a while But all that shit seems to disappear When I'm with you Everything I can remember As fucked up as it all may seem The consequences
that were rendered I'm gonna fuck things up again Again Why must I feel this way?
And just make this go away And just one more peaceful day So
it's been a while since I could look at myself straight.
It's been a while since I said I'm sorry.
It's been a while since I've seen the way The candles light your face It's been a while, but I can still remember Just the way you taste Everything I can remember Has fucked up as it all
may seem To be, I know it's me I cannot blame this on my father He's been the best he could for me So it's been a while since I could hold
my head up high And it's been a while since I said I'm sorry So
when I was sitting there watching in the news and saw these brave young men that chose to stand at the base of a flagpole and it gave me hope.
It gave me hope for this country because Without young patriots like yourselves, this country will very quickly cease to exist.
You are very important and very needed.
I wrote this song with a friend of mine that I'm going to bring out shortly for him to play another song that he wrote.
I wrote this song with him in the middle of COVID where I'm 52 years old.
I didn't understand what the fuck was going on.
I didn't agree with any of what was going on.
And here we are.
Here we are, protecting our flag from people that are supporting Hamas, a terrorist organization.
That murdered women and children and babies, and they're standing up for these people.
It's disgusting.
And it's so uneducated.
I just...
I don't know what these kids are learning in school, but it ain't the fucking truth, I'll tell you that much.
guitar solo
Thinking something ain't right Is it just me?
Am I losing my mind?
Am I standing on the edge till the end of time?
Am I the only one?
Tell me I'm not.
Who thinks they're taking all the good we got and turning it back?
Hell, I'll be damned.
I think I'm turning into my old man.
Am I the only one willing to bleed?
Or take a bullet for being free?
Screaming, what the fuck, in my TV? You're telling me, yeah, you're telling me that I'm the only one willing to fight for my love of the red and white and the blue burning on the ground another statue coming down in a town near you watching the threads of old
glory come undone Am I the only one not brainwashed?
Making my way through the land of the lost and still gives a shit and worries about his kids as they try to undo all the things Trump did.
Am I the only one who can't take no more screaming?
If you don't like it, there's the fucking door.
This ain't the freedom we've been fighting for.
It was something more.
Yeah, it was something more.
Am I the only one willing to fight?
Oh, my love are the red and white and the blue.
Burning on the ground, another statue coming down in a town near you.
Watching the threads of all glory come undone.
I'm not the only one.
I can't be the only one.
I'm the only one who quit singing along.
Every time they play a Springsteen song.
I don't know.
don't think if he received the invite, he would have come this evening.
Fucking communist.
Am I the only one sitting here?
You're holdin' on, holdin' back my tears For the ones who paid with the lives they gave God bless the USA! Cause I'm not the only one willing to fight Oh,
my love of the red and white and the blue Burning on the ground Another statue coming down in a town near you Watching the threats of all glory come undone I'm not the only one Can't
be the only one Well, I'm not the only one Alright, so let me tell you a little story about this next guy.
He, uh, he's responsible for some pretty big songs.
And, uh, he happens to be one of the people that I just wrote that last song with.
I'm gonna have him come out and play one of the other songs that, one of the massive songs that he has had over his career.
One of the most amazing songwriters in Nashville, Mr. Jeffrey Steele.
Come here, buddy.
No, you stay out and play with it.
He'll take mine.
You stay out and play with it.
Well, I gave you a little free bird already.
So I'll take it.
Thank you, Aaron.
Love you, buddy.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.
That is the one and only Aaron Lewis, y'all.
Thank you.
Is this thing on?
Got nothing.
All righty.
I'm Jeffrey Steele.
Thank you, Aaron.
And I'm going to sing you a song that Aaron recorded, actually.
Nothing.
Nothing going?
Nothing.
Hang on.
We're having a technical.
Hey, Jeffrey.
Right there.
Is that plugged in?
Oh, you have to plug it in.
There's a for-sale sign on a big old rusty tractor.
You can't miss it.
It's the first thing that you see.
Just up the road, a pale blue water tower.
With our love, Jenny painted in bright green.
Yeah, that's my Uncle Ray there by the courthouse.
And he'll be lower in the flag when the sun goes down.
And this is my town.
Yeah, where I was born, where I was raised, where I keep all my yesterdays, this is my town.
Yeah.
Where I ran off cause I got mad when it came to blows with my old man, this is my town.
But I came back to settle down.
It's where they'll put me in the ground.
My town.
My town.
So let me sing you a little song that I wrote for my daddy, who was a paratrooper in World War II.
And when I saw what I saw on TV and that flag getting saved, it reminded me of how amazing this country is.
I could take the rain on the roof of this empty house.
That don't bother me.
I could take a few tears now and then and just let them out.
I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while.
Even love going on with you gone still upsets me.
There are days every now and again I pretend I'm okay.
But that's not what gets me.
Anybody know it?
Why the hurts the most Was being so close And having so much to say And watching you walk away And never knowing What could have been And I'd see you never loving you Is what I was trying to
do It's hard to deal with the pain of losing you Everywhere I go But I I'm not doing it.
Hard to force that smile when I see our own friends and I'm alone.
Still harder, getting up, getting dressed, living with this regret.
But I know if I could do it over, I would trade, give away all the words that I say in my heart that I left unspoken.
What hurts the most is being so close and having so much to say watching you walk away and never knowing what could have been and not seeing that love in you
what I was trying to do, yeah Anybody know
it?
*music* I could take the rain on the roof of this I could take a few tears now and then and just let them out I'm out of every once even though With your gone still love, that's me.
There are days every now and again.
I pretend I'm okay, but that's not what gets me.
Let me hear you.
Woo!
Good.
What hurts the most Was being so close And having so much to say
And watching you walk away And never knowing What could be have been.
And like seeing that love in you Is what I was trying to do, yeah
What hurts the man?
What hurts the man?
Jeffery Steele, thank you all very much.

A little old game flying, higher than a jetliner.
If you want a little bang and you ain't come along.
Yeah, we flew through Cincinnati and we all got Billy.
That boy, that skyline chili on the way.
And then we rolled on into Kent and scared the hell out of Marilyn Manson.
And the party started happening.
Hey, hey, hey!
And in the middle of a toss that night, we ran into Jessica White.
And a little moonshine got us right.
Pushed back and sang!
Sing it!
And we're coming to your city.
Gonna play a guitar and sang you a country song.
We'll all be flyin' higher than a jail, I know, yeah.
If you want a little thing, come along, come along.
Now we broke down in Greenville in the middle of a hayfield, but a Bud Light truck pulled up, helped us out.
So we did hit it up in Philly.
Party down like a real hillbilly.
Brought the music mafia, and we rocked it out high.
Oh, and triple one's where we go when we're up in Buffalo.
Don't you know those Yankees drinkin' up the hill?

How y'all feeling tonight, North Carolina?
line and let me hear you one time.
We're big and rich and it's good to be amongst a bunch of patriots here tonight at Flagstaff.
Thank you.
We made a promise to the frat boys here at UNC that if they had enough courage to defend our flag, then by God we had enough courage to show up in your backyard and play you a concert.
Can I get a hell yeah?
Shall we sing a little rock and roll music?
I mean, come on.
Now you might wonder, what would ACDC sound like with a couple of boys in some cowboy hats sound like, yeah?
It goes like this.
Well, honey, you took me all night long Sing it now!
Yeah, honey, you She kept her motor clean.
She was the best damn woman that I ever seen.
Had to side to side.
She's telling me no lies.
She's knocking me out with those American thighs.
Taking more than a share.
Had me fighting for air.
She told me to come, but I was already there.
And the walls started shaking.
The earth was quaking.
My mind was aching.
We were making it you.
You shook me all night long.
Yeah, honey, you shook me all night long.
Working double time on the seduction line.
She was one of her kind.
No flaws, just another flaws made a meal out of me.
And come back, one more had to cool me down to take another round.
Now I'm back in the ring to take another swing.
And the walls start shaking, the earth was quaking.
My mind was naked, we were making it through.
It shook me all night long.
Yeah, honey, you took me all night long.
I'll play the guitar, son.
Yeah, honey, you took me all night long. you took me all night long.
Yeah, honey, you took me all night long.
Yeah, honey, you shook me all night long.
Yeah, you shook me.
Yeah, you should be all night long.
Ladies and gentlemen, from the great state of Virginia, the universal minister of love, the one and the universal minister of love, the one and only Mr. Big Kenny.
Yeah. .
Thank you all.
Thank you so much for being here tonight.
Man, what a glorious occasion.
What a wonderful time to celebrate such an awesome thing.
Our flag.
Wow.
And it is my great honor to introduce to you my brother from another mother from all the way down there in Amarillo, Texas!
The original cowboy Stevie wanted to make some noise for John Ritchard.
Isn't it nice to know that you're in a crowd full of like-minded patriots tonight?
Can I get a round of applause?
How about a hand for Mr. Aaron Lewis and Jeffrey Steele.
just laid it out.
And five for fighting, Josh.
John Andrasic coming out here.
Listen, these people are taking a Labor Day and coming out here to play a little music.
And guess what else?
You are taking a Labor Day.
You can be anywhere you want it to be right now.
But you decided to be here.
Why is that?
Why are you a flag stock right now on Labor Day?
USA! USA! USA! What?
USA! USA! You're damn right, USA! I tell you what, when we saw those protesters tearing down Old Glory,
and we saw them raising the flag of a foreign nation on our soul.
At what point do you say enough is enough?
Well, the boys of UNC said it was enough.
The boys of UNC said, "You ain't taking our flag all the way down to the ground." The boys of UNC stood there while they got hit with rocks and bottles and sticks and called every name under God's great heaven.
And they did not move.
moved, they stayed stationary and held our flag above their heads just like this.
And I'm here to tell you on behalf of Big Kenny, myself, and every other artist that performs on this stage tonight, we are proud of you.
We are proud of you.
Do you think this country was built on the shoulders of weak people?
No.
No. .
I mean, y'all are in college, so you've learned what the Constitution says and what the Declaration of Independence says, correct?
You've read those things?
Well, the men and women that founded this country told Great Britain that they could take two of these and call me in the morning.
That's what they said.
So I just want to know, is that spirit still alive here in the United States with all the young?
- Ah, that's good to hear.
I'm gonna skip a song.
How many veterans or active duty do we have in the crowd tonight?
Raise your hand.
I see this man right here with butt his hands up.
You heard the question, right?
Active duty or a veteran?
Are you active duty?
You got out a month ago.
What branch were you serving in, sir?
What?
Army?
This man right here on the front row been serving how many years?
Five years you served our country right here in the front row.
Guys, the only reason we still have a country to argue about at this point is because the only reason we still have a country to argue about at this point is because men and women that are willing to fight and die if
That's the only reason we still have a country to deal with.
Can I get a yeehaw one time now?
Oh!
And guess what this is called?
This is called the right to assemble.
We are assembling right now.
And unfortunately, there are a lot of young people in this country that also assemble, but they don't realize the reason they have the right in the first place is because of the United States military keeping our flag alive, right?
So flag stock is all about putting out the accolades And showing the respect and the dignity deserved to all the men and women who have served our country or who are serving our country all the way back to 1776. That brings us to this year today.
My last question for you is this.
Do you still love America?
Yes!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Damn right.
USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
What a beautiful sound.
What a beautiful sound.
I think that young people in this country get painted with a broad brush.
They say, well, They're a bunch of knuckleheads playing video games in their mom's basement drinking soy lattes.
Yeah, you know.
You know.
Oh, here's what they say.
All the young people in this country, a bunch of beta males out there sucking the government tit.
That's what they're saying.
Yep.
Is that who you are?
Is that who you are?
Or is this a group of young Americans that want to chase the American dream and live a life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
Let me hear you one time if that's you.
We want to play a song for all of our veterans, all of our veterans, all of our active duty, the boys and girls overseas in harm's way, and the 13-plus the boys and girls overseas in harm's way, and the 13-plus that never came back from This is a song we wrote about a Vietnam veteran in South Dakota.
It's called the 8th of November.
I said one, two, three, two, three I said goodbye to his mama as he left South Dakota To fight for the red, white, and blue
He was 19 and green with a new and 16 just doing what he had to do.
He was robbed in a jungle where the choppers would rumble with a smell of napalm in the air.
And then the sergeant said, Look up ahead Like a dark evil cloud Twelve hundred came down on him And twenty-nine more They barked for their lives But most of them died In the 173rd air pong On the 8th of November The angels
were crying As they carried his brothers away With the fire raining down and the hell all around, there were two men left standing that day.
Saw the eagle fly through a clear blue sky.
165, on the 8th of November.
Now he's 78 and his ponytail's gray, but the battle still plays in his head.
He limps when he walks, but he's strong when he talks, about the shrapnel that lived in his face.
He puts on a great suit over his airborne tattoo As he ties it on a one-timey gear And remembers the fallen As he orders a tall one And swallows it down with his tears On the 8th of November The angels are crying as they carry his brothers away With the firing down and the hell all
round There were a few men not standing that day Saw the eagle fly through a clear blue sky 1965 We
will fly through a clear blue sky, 1965. Come on!
On the 8th of November, the angels are crying as they carried his brothers away.
With the fire raining down, I'm standing that day On the 8th of November The angels are crying As they carried his brothers away With the fire raining down And the hell all around their perfume I'm standing that day Saw the eagle fly Through a clear blue
sky 1965 On the 8th of November.
On the 8th of November.
He said goodbye to his mom as he left South Dakota to fight for the red, white, and blue.
He was 19 and green with a new and 16 just soon.
what he had to do.
God bless all of our active duty and veterans in the crowd And now we got the VFW out here.
Thank you gentlemen and ladies.
Thank you all for serving our country.
A round of applause for all the people who have served.
Let them hear you one time.
come on.
Mr. Big Kenny, what you got son?
Thought you had it there, John.
Friends, it seems like it's come that time that we should do a toast together, so if you've got a cup, a hand, a bottle, or just a hand, can, whatever you've got, you've got something to hold high in the air.
To all those who've served, be it Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, to all those on the front lines here at home, our emergency service workers, our firefighters, our rescue, our police officers, and our school teachers, pray tell.
We'd like to salute them all with one of the greatest words ever, and that word is F-R-E-E-D-O-M, freedom!
So on the count of three, let's say it so loud to hear it every state around and across the big ponds.
Are you ready?
On the count of three, North Carolina, give me freedom!
Say one, two, three!
Freedom!
Drink it down, Patriots, drink it down.
Here, here, here.
How many of y'all got those fancy iPhones in your pocket?
Anybody got a flashlight in your pocket?
Turn your little light on.
I want to light this place up for a minute.
If you got a light, let your little light shine right now.
Right now, Flagstock.
Here's a song that we all learned when we were little kids growing up in this country.
And I think this might be the most important song any American could be singing at this exact minute.
And it goes like this.
Sing God bless America Land that hallow Stand beside her And guide her Through the night with the light from above.
Let me hear you!
From the mountains, to the prairie, to the ocean, white with foam.
Let me hear you say!
God bless America, my home sweet home.
Come on, sing it now.
God bless America, my home sweet home.
Put your hands together for the United States of America one time.
Let them hear you.
Well, I walk back down.
No, I won't back down.
You can stand me up at the gates of hell, but I won't back down.
Well, I stand my ground.
Won't be turned around.
In a world that keeps on pushing me around But I'll stand my round And I'll walk back down I was that guy, baby I know what's
right.
I got just one life.
And I keep this world from dragging me around.
Well, I'll stand my ground.
And I'll walk back down.
I'll walk back down.
Hey, baby.
There ain't no easy way out Hey, let me hear you one time Play the guitar, son Hey,
let me hear let me hear you one time - Hey!
Let me hear you one time.
I want you back down.
Hey, baby.
Hey, there ain't no easy way out.
Hey, God.
He said I want you back down.
No, I want you back down.
I want you back down.
I want you back down.
How great is America?
Do you see people lined up on the doorsteps of any other country other than our country?
Why do you think that is?
That's because America is the greatest country that's ever existed in written history.
That's why.
USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
What? USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
See, I think for everybody that hates the flag and everybody that hates the country, there's 10 more standing behind them that love the flag and love the country.
I think they're vastly outnumbered.
That's what I think.
Let me ask the young people here in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Are people that love the country outweighing the people that hate the country?
Let me hear you once.
This is a fun show, ain't it?
This is pretty good.
I like it.
It's a pretty good time.
Can you believe that we came out here and put on a concert out here for the frat boys of UNC? I mean, come on, man.
That's pretty cool.
So listen, we thought we'd pull out all the stops if we're going to come out here on Labor Day weekend.
We should give you the best entertainment, the most talented Americans we could get our hands on.
So I'd like to introduce to you...
First of all, raise your hand if you're in college right now.
If you're in college.
Okay.
All right.
Most of you.
Would you like me to turn you on to your new favorite singer?
You know, because you guys all live in your mama's basements and you're playing video games all day, right?
That's what y'all do?
No!
You're going to college and you want to build a family and a business and chase the American dream!
That's what you're doing!
Okay.
I respect that.
So out of respect, we wanted to show you guys somebody that I promise you, I promise you, no doubt about it.
When you get done listening to this next artist, you're gonna want to book this boy to come play your next thing.
I promise you.
He hails from Atlanta, Georgia.
And in my opinion, and Big Kenny's opinion, right Ken?
This man you're about to hear right now, It's such a powerful vocalist and artist that I put him in my will.
I said, if I die before he does, I want him singing at my funeral.
That's how much I think about him.
Ladies and gentlemen, from the great state of Georgia, Mr. Angie Aparo.
Come on Hey, wouldn't you want to know Everywhere that river flows to right now I Can show you how?
Because someday you might want to go someday You got nothing to show for all your pain For all your chains I ain't saying no.
It's the only way.
But wouldn't you like to know how it feel to live like a free man?
To give when there's nothing in your hand.
And run Like only the river can Like a free, like a free, like a free man You've only so many roads to choose Sooner
or later the ones you use They all look the same Yeah, someday you might feel the need someday When you're tired of leaving for someone else You're gonna want it for yourself, yeah.
Well, I ain't saying no.
It's the only way.
But wouldn't you like to know how it feel to live like a free man, yeah.
Together when there's nothing in your head And run like only a river can, yeah Like a free, like a free, like a free man La
-la-la, la-la-la Yeah, I ain't sayin' no It's the only way No,
I ain't sayin' It's the only way Oh, but wouldn't you like to know I'd feel to live Like a free man To give When there's nothing in your hand And
run Like only the river can Like a free, like a free, like a free man Thank
y'all.
Thank you so much.
Thank you, John.
What do you guys think about this man so far?
Seriously.
I mean, can a man like that only sing one song in North Carolina?
Or can a man like that sing two songs in North Carolina?
Mr. Angie Apparel, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you, John.
I want you all to help me sing this.
Well, you know where you should.
I wrote a few songs, but I wish I wrote this one.
She packed my bags last night, free flight.
Zero hour, 9 a.m.
And I'm gonna be high Right As a kite by then I miss the earth so much I miss my wife.
It's lonely out in space On such a timeless flight Yeah And I think it's gonna be a long,
long time To touch down, bring me round again to fight I'm not the man they think I am at home, oh no, no, no I'm a rockin' man Rockin' man,
burnin' out his fuse up here alone Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kid In fact it's cold as hell And there's no one there to raise them If

It's just my job, five days a week I am.
I'm a rockin' man A rockin' man Come on, y'all.

What else surprises do we have tonight, Big Kenny?
What do you got?
You got somebody in the wings?
Don, I think we've got one back here that everyone's just gonna love.
Who is it?
His name is Rome.
His name is Rome.
And who's Rome singing with?
For the past years with this band called Sublime.
Sublime?

Sublime is in the house?
Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the presence of one of the greatest bands on earth.
Make some noise for Big& Rich one time!
It is an absolute honor to be here with the bravest, supporting the bravest students out here, representing our flag, representing our country.
I am a Mexican-American dream that came from immigrants, and I got to sing for my favorite band.
Dude, I'm going to tell you some shit.
This is where it's at, man.
We got the movement right here within our locks.
Do not ever forget the proudness of where you're from.

Big Kenny, we have...
We have...
An alumni from the University of North Carolina This man went on to star in more movies than you can even look up right now.
In TV shows, this guy is an actual Hollywood star.
He heard about Flagstock and he said, could I come out on stage and sing a little song for the people?
Would you mind to hear from an alumni for a minute?
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Nick Searcy.
Come on out here, Nick.
Thank you, John.
Hello, everybody.
You may know me from Justified, you may know me from Castaway, and you may not know me at all, but I am class of 82, a North Carolina Tar Heel.
Hell yeah!
82 was Michael Jordan's freshman year when he hit the shot.
We won the national championship.
We won it again in 93. We won it again in 2005. I was in Detroit when Tyler Hansbro won it in 2009. I was in Phoenix when we won it again in 2017. And I was in New Orleans when we ended Coach K. And I'm an American,
but I'm a Tar Heel, and I want you to sing a little song with me, because I am Tar Heel born and Tar Heel bred.
One, two, one, two, three.
I'm Tar Heel born and I'm Tar Heel bred, and when I die, I'll be Tar Heel dead.
So it's hoorah, Carolina, Latin, hoorah, Carolina, Latin, hoorah, Carolina.
Go to hell, Duke!
Yeah!
Go Tar Heels!
Go Tar Heels!
Go America!
Go Tar Heels!
Thank you!
Nick Searcy!
UNC alumni!
That's one crazy bastard right there, I'll tell you right now.
It's Labor Day!
Why are you people all hanging out here instead of back at your house cooking a hamburger right now?
What's the matter with y'all?
What's the matter with you?
Are you trying to tell me that you love America more than you love your Labor Day weekend?
Can I get a hell yeah?
Ladies and gentlemen, make welcome to the stage, the world's only six-footed, five-inch, 260-pound, black-rapping cowboy from Dallas, Texas, Mr. Cowboy Joy.

Y'all.
Friends, brothers and sisters, what a glorious time we've had here with you tonight.
Thank you all so much for bringing such good energy to this here flag stock.
Yeah, yeah!
It'd be awesome to hear all of us make a joyful noise together.
Maybe something simple like...
Say yeah, yeah!
Woo!
Y'all are good!
All this energy makes me think of this little rhyme back here on that first record that hoists for a different color with something like this.
I said Abraham Lincoln was the king of the dudes.
He had the bubblegum jaws and basketball shoes.
He jumped out the window with a guitar in his hand and said, shoot me daddy!
I'm Superman!
I'm super duper!
I'm supersized!
I'm superhuman, got X-rays!
Hurry up in the times, really mesmerized.
You want a big surprise, take a look inside.
You get a bang-o, bang-o, bang-o, bang-o!
Anybody wanna, wanna, wanna go, bang-o!
Walking down the street to the beat, he's a nature boy.
Jump around a minute like a super We're good to go down a minute like a simple, simple lovin' boy.
Y'all know this stuff was out.
Well, I'm a Thera Bread, that's what she said, in the back of my truck bed as we was getting buzzed on suds, out on some...
Yeah, we were flying high, fine as wine, having ourselves a bigger risk of having on going about as far as she let me go.
Get your hands off, Carolina!
But her evaluation of my cowboy reputation had me begging for salvation all night long.
Oh, Lordy have mercy, I took her out, gigging prom, introduced her to my old bird dog, sang her every Willie Nelson song I could think of.
And we made love, and I saddle up my horse, and I ride into the city.
I make a lot of noise, cause the girls, they are so pretty.
Be riding up and down Broadway, my old stud Leroy, and the girls say, "Save a horse, ride a cowboy." Can everybody see?
It's a horse, ride a cowboy.
What?
What?
Save a horse, ride a cowboy!
Everybody say it loud now, come on!
Save a horse, ride a cowboy!
God bless y'all, we're Big and Rich!
Ladies and gentlemen, the call number, host number, Big Kitty!
And the Amarillo brother, Mr. John Rich!
Together, they are the undisputed tag team champions of the world, Big and Red!
Thank you all!
Thank you so much.
God bless you.
Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo!
Woo! Woo!
Yeah!
Say what?
Woo!
It sounds like...
It sounds like to me that you people had a good time tonight.
Did you...
Did you feel it?
So the question now...
The question now...
Is that Flagstock 2024...
How do we end this show?
I think the greatest way to end this show would be to hear and sing the modern-day Star Spangled Banner sung by The greatest living patriot of the United States of America, Mr. Lee Greenwood!
Do you know how much blood has been spread all over the world with our military to protect the flag?
It's why we give allegiance to the red, white and blue.
The Pledge of Allegiance is a pledge to the ideals of our forefathers, the men and women who fought and died in the building of this great country.
It's a pledge to fulfill our duties and obligations as citizens of the United States and to uphold the very principles of our Constitution.
Last but not least, it's a pledge to maintain four simple freedoms searched by all Americans.
Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and God help us, freedom from fear.
For the boys from Chapel Hill.
If tomorrow all the things were gone, I'd work for all my life.
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.
Sing it!
And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died Who gave that right to me And I gladly stand up next to you And defend her still today Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the USA Come
on stage, guys!
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A. There's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say that
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free and I won't I'm
proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died Who gave that right to me And I gladly stand up next to you And defend her still today Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A. God
bless the boys from Chapel Hill!
We stand with you!
Put your hands together for Mr. Lee Greenwood!
God bless North Carolina, guys!
God bless the USA! Can I get a yee-haw one time out of everybody?
God bless y'all.
y'all have a good night Out!
Out!
