This has nothing to do with getting to the bottom of anything.

The January 6th committee wants to subpoena GOP phone records?
For what?
Folks, you understand, right?
The FBI's investigated this thing.
This January 6th incident at the Capitol.
They've been investigating this thing for months.
They've now determined there was no conspiracy.
There was no conspiracy to take the government down.
The FBI investigated this.
That's not good enough for the Democrats, because they've got to intimidate donors and activists.
They want to make sure they send out subpoenas.
These subpoenas, by the way, that they're sending out to members of Congress, Facebook, Parler, AT&T, everyone.
These subpoenas aren't even legal!
Here, from the Wall Street Journal.
Benny Thompson, hack Democrat from Mississippi, who's the chair of the committee, sent letters Monday to 35 companies, from AT&T to Facebook to Parler, asking them to preserve information about account holders charged with crimes related to or potentially involved with discussions in planning the January 6th riot.
The companies are requested to preserve emails, voice texts, and direct messages in preparation for subpoenas to come.
So Benny Thompson, hack Democrat from Mississippi, knows more than the FBI about this?
There was no conspiracy.
None.
They're just making this up.
Why are these subpoenas, which are not legal by the way, why are these subpoenas going out?
Come on folks, you know why.
You absolutely know why.
I don't need to tell you.

These subpoenas are going out to intimidate activists, volunteers, donors, and Republican Congress people to shut them down right before the 2022 election.

Congress can subpoena.
Can subpoena items.
You have subpoena do saticum, subpoena ad testificatum.
Those are the technical terms for calling someone a testifier to produce documents, right?
Congress can do that.
But it has to have, pay very close attention, those subpoenas have to have a clear legislative purpose.
Legislative purpose.
What could possibly be the legislative purpose for subpoenaing a bunch of companies about information the FBI already had?
That's a law enforcement matter.
That's not a legislative purpose.
These aren't even legal subpoenas.
They're meant to intimidate you.

They're only doing this, oh my gosh, I got a subpoena from Congress.
Now all of a sudden you're thinking about the subpoena from Congress.
You're not thinking about fighting your Democrat congressman and trying to get him out of office in 2022?

If these companies If these companies acquiesce and send this information, these call records of members of Congress, to be specific, over to other members of Congress, listen, a red line has been crossed.
A red line has clearly been crossed.

Effective totalitarianism and tyranny, where one political party can spy on another party using fake legislative tools to do it.

So McCarthy's been warning these companies against rolling over to Democrat pressure, noting they could forfeit their ability to operate in the United States.
He better follow through with this.
Democrats in the media spun this as pressuring companies to ignore duly issued subpoenas.
It's not.
The subpoenas are illegal, folks.
But McCarthy was pointing out that federal privacy law protects information and that Democrats haven't provided in court that their committee is entitled to these records.
McCarthy had better follow through.
Because if this is the case that Democrat members of Congress can take it upon themselves to demand private call records of opposing party members of Congress when they don't like their politics, folks, all is lost at that point.

McCarthy better follow through.
If these companies illegally provide disinformation to the Democrats, McCarthy better follow through.
And if we win the House in 2022, licenses should be revoked.

One of the things he said in his video is, I took a whole bunch of stuff.
He said he took prednisone, ivermectin, and a Z-Pak, and three days later, Joe Rogan, according to- I don't know Joe Rogan.
I didn't call him.
He says he feels great.
I take the man at his word.

Well, Guy came in this morning because it erupted that he dared to take ivermectin, which is approved for human use, right?
Ivermectin approved for human use.

They want Joe Rogan dead.
They are upset Joe Rogan didn't die because Joe Rogan asked questions about alternative treatments and the vaccine.
You're not allowed to do that.
You're only allowed to pump the vaccine.

But down in the piece, there's a very weird interpretation by one of the liberal justices of constitutional rights, given everything we've heard in the past few months about government working with the private sector to ban parlor, ban all these tech companies and do this other stuff.
They have, you know, that's the government actively intervening to shut down free speech, something they're forbidden to do.
So they're using third parties to do it, which is really strange because I didn't see anybody complaining about that.
