Dan Bongino.
Welcome to the Bongino Brief.
I'm Dan Bongino.
I am beginning to question everything.
How can it possibly be that upwards of 100 million plus people, maybe upwards of 150 million people, really believe with no evidence to back it up whatsoever?
That lockdowns work, mandates work, that masks are stopping the spread of the virus, even though we keep having the spread of the virus, that high taxes are working despite the fact that inflation's going wild, people's real wages are going down, the economy is supposed to be booming after COVID and yet 10 million people aren't working.
Like, you have no data.
Listen to me.
You liberals, you, I'm talking to you.
Yes, I'm pointing.
Just like Miss Guildford used to, God rest her soul, when I was in fifth grade.
Daniel, listen.
You have no data to back up anything you believe to be true.
Nothing!
Nothing!
You have no data on anything.
Yet you're convinced your view of the world is accurate.
And I'm saying to myself, these people aren't stupid.
It can't be that there's a hundred million stupid people.
It can't be!
And I think I've got it.
They may not be stupid, but they are suckers.
Yeah, I'm sorry, but they are.
It's obviously a culture-media phenomenon.
They have cultural influencers like Arnold Schwarzenegger and media people who refuse to tell them the truth or are too dumb to figure it out themselves, who have them believing what's not real is real.
It is the most cosmic case of gaslighting I've ever seen.
Where does it start?
Well, you'd think a guy who's benefited the most from freedom and liberty and capitalism is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We'd have some sense of self-awareness when it comes to the benefit of freedom.
Now, here's this numbskull on a show.
I think it's the recount or whatever it is.
He's on with that, uh, whatever, that, that zero from, uh, the impeachment hearing.
You know, the Vindman guy.
Yeah.
Oh, you're not allowed to criticize military people unless it's Mike Flynn.
Unless it's Mike Flynn.
Then you can criticize him and call him a traitor, right?
Yeah.
You can stick your rules right up the wazoo, okay?
Your fake phony rules.
So, I don't know.
I think he's someone.
I don't even... I don't know.
The guy could be his brother or whatever.
Who knows?
But here's Schwarzenegger basically saying, hey, you know, the freedoms I benefited from becoming... He's probably close to somewhat of a billionaire at this point.
He's definitely worth hundreds of millions, right?
A guy who came here as an immigrant to this country and benefited from the freedoms of the United States, who basically tells you to ram your freedoms up your caboose.
Check this out.
And not just to think about, well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.
No, screw your freedom.
Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities.
We cannot just say, I have the right to the X, Y, and Z when you affect other people.
This is really incredible.
I know, it makes me question everything.
It makes me question everything because I can't believe, I don't believe, that a hundred plus million Americans who vote for guys like this.
He's not a Republican, he claims to be.
He's a total fraud.
The guy's a total fake and a phony.
I say he's a fake tough guy.
He thinks because he made a movie, Commando, like he's a Commando himself.
The guy's a loser.
The guy is a colossal loser as evidenced by his personal behavior.
Right?
Just ask the maid.
A total loser, right?
And he's lecturing Americans on freedom, and it's bizarre that he uses the term obligation.
Because when we discuss obligations on the left, I'm sorry, I don't mean to get like, I don't want to get overly deep on this, I'm not trying to wax philosophical, but it's important.
When we discuss and the left discusses the declaring of rights, rights that are not in the Constitution, they don't ever discuss obligations themselves.
Did you notice that?
So Arnold Schwarzenegger, just to be clear, who's a fake phony fraud, is out there saying, hey, your freedoms don't matter because your freedoms may impact me.
Which, by the way, applies to every freedom, right?
Your freedom to drive on a road could impact someone else as well.
If, God forbid, there's a car accident, correct?
Yeah.
There's not a freedom you have that doesn't... Your freedom to eat what you want has an impact on everyone else, right?
That's what freedom is.
Does he not get that?
No, of course he doesn't.
If you don't eat broccoli every day and choose to eat potato chips 24 hours a day, and you have a heart attack without insurance, your behavior's impacted me.
But you're free to do it, and we accept that.
Because I accept my freedoms impact you, and we hope collectively that the impact of freedom will impose some sense of personal responsibility.
But if it doesn't, it doesn't.
We don't then take away freedom because some people aren't responsible.
Schwarzenegger isn't deep enough to understand that.
He's too busy.
Schwarzenegger's too busy, you know, whatever, hitting on the housemaid or whatever it was.
Because he's a clown.
He's a joker.
And a zero.
And he's not deep enough to understand these things.
But again, back to my point, he talks about, your freedoms don't matter, because you have obligations.
It's funny, when they declare the left, things like, The right to health care.
There is no right to health care.
The right to food security.
There is no right to food security.
There's no rights.
Those are not rights in the Constitution.
It's weird that they never talk about obligations there.
Think about it, right?
Say we have the right to health care.
You have the right, meaning it's yours.
It's yours to take.
You have the right to it, correct?
That's what that means.
And Schwarzenegger's having a tough time, right?
He's too busy staring at the maid or whatever, right?
Schwarzenegger doesn't get that.
If it's a right, that means you can take the health care, correct?
So if it's a right, you can walk in the doctor's office, not pay and demand to be served.
Because it's a right.
It's a right, correct?
Give me the easy curl bar!
He doesn't understand that by declaring healthcare a right, it's not, you create an obligation on someone else.
A doctor, a hospital worker, a janitor in the hospital provide their services to you free because you've declared it your right, like Prima Noctur from Braveheart.
I declare the right of Prima Noctur!
It's not a right!
Schwarzenegger's not deep enough to understand any of this.
What about the right to be—oh, you have the right to food security.
You do?
So a farmer has to work for free, creating an obligation on him to feed you whether you choose to work or not and pay him for it.
That's your right, right?
But notice how he's quick—Schwarzenegger, again, total liberal.
He's not even a—forget Republican.
The guy's a far-left radical Democrat.
This loser doesn't understand the idea of rights and obligations because he's never thought any of this through.
He's too busy living in his multi-million dollar mansion benefiting from the freedoms he now despises so much.
That's why I question everything.
Like, this is a guy who's been relatively savvy in business.
He failed at The Apprentice and The Last Action Hero was a terrible movie.
He's really been successful at weightlifting and transitioning that into movies.
The guy can't act to save his life.
But he's been okay.
Made some money in movies.
Probably made a couple smart investments here or there.
You would think this guy would be less dense than he is.
And this is why I wake up questioning everything, because this guy has influence.
Sadly, there are people who respect this buffoon, total buffoon, who listen to this guy, and then you get hundreds of millions of people in this country, potentially, who believe stupid counterproductive policies like anti-liberty, anti-freedom mandates, and the loss of individual rights are an effective path forward because of jerks like this.
Screw your freedom.
Speaking of which...
We need that as a drop rate.
Jim, take that.
There you go.
This is the left.
But Joe, you got that again.
Screw your freedom.
This guy's going to be immortalized for all the wrong reasons.
With that, from this point, it'll be the new Toddy Bresco.
What are you going to do?
