The Metaphysics Underlying Chaos Magic

Chaos magic’s metaphysics treats reality as a holographic, holonic fractal—light and dark patterns collapsing duality in higher states of consciousness. The speaker debunks myths like the tarot’s medieval origins (15th-century Visconti commission) or The Gabbalion’s ancient roots, tracing modern systems to late Roman astrology and 7th-century BC biblical assembly. Even constructed tools—tarot, memes (Pepe the Frog), or Magic: The Gathering—act as maps to suppressed energies, like a "broken sexual marketplace," which resurface as symbolic forces. Reality’s infinite complexity demands engagement with its patterns without obsession, as all knowledge remains provisional and maps aren’t the territory. [Automatically generated summary]

Gematria Connections 00:09:37
So the metaphysics underlying chaos magic I think the best way to introduce this video is to explain the inspiration for it why I'm making this
The inspiration is I was browsing on 4chan the other day and people were drawing some interesting gematria connections about the pretty good ice situation I mean, forget the gematria for a second.
The fact that their names were pretty good is itself such a synchronicity.
And gematria, if you aren't familiar with it, it's the.
It's where you assign letters to numbers and then you add up the the, the sum of the numbers of a name or an event or a place, and you draw inferences from those.
And I believe that I was just skimming through it.
Gematria is not my main focus, but I believe that both of the particular individuals had names that wound up adding up to 88, which is also an interesting prison tattoo, if you know about that aspect.
So what gives man?
Is everything pre-planned?
Was this organized from the start?
How long have these people had these identities?
what's with all the movie props in the background when good decided to walk on thin ice what the heck is going on with all of this Can something be simultaneously pre-planned and spontaneous?
That's the concept I want to explore here, because it's not just Gematria that it's particularly big in Hebrew, but you also find it in English.
You find all of these patterns within patterns within patterns.
When John Dee and Edward Kelly scribe and transcribed Enochian, the language of the angels, they wound up writing down, noting down a language that had more mathematical complexity than they themselves could discover.
More patterns within patterns within patterns.
And I'd love to hear from you.
like to discuss the metaphysics as to why all of this happens, which is also the metaphysics of chaos magic.
Because you can, you can disappear into this stuff if you're not ready for it.
It can become quite dangerous.
Just look at what happened to Dee and Kelly.
And I want to add one caveat before we really jump into it.
The caveat is that all knowledge is tentative.
That an expert is, an expert is just somebody who is paid to have an opinion that's probably correct.
There's always deeper you can dig.
There's always more you can learn about this stuff.
I mean, I remember when I was in university just walking through the university stacks and just being blown away of all these books.
I'm never, never going to have time to read all of these books.
Nobody has time to read all of these books.
All we can do is follow our instincts where they lead us, summarize and synthesize as best we can, and try and pass on these useful constructs to others.
So with that said, let's talk about tarot cards.
As you probably know, I am fond of tarot cards.
I've spoken in the past about the, especially the major arcana, how the order of the major arcana, the Trump cards, if you lay them out in three sets of seven, you actually have the original Star Wars trilogy.
Other times I've pointed out that if you take the five states of consciousness, which are gross, subtle, causal, Witness, and then Enlightened.
The tarot cards describe these five states.
First line is the gross.
The second line of seven is the subtle.
Then the first two are the causal.
The next three are the witness.
And the final two are the non-dual or the enlightenment.
So surely, surely these tarot cards must have been designed by a mystery school adept.
Surely they must go back to ancient Egypt There's got to be something there, right?
I mean, you don't just happen to get that sort of pattern out of a bunch of playing cards, do you?
But no matter how much I research, these things, they're just medieval Pokemon cards.
They aren't from ancient Egypt.
They're commissioned in the 15th century by the Duke Visconti.
And The documentation on them just being playing cards.
They're just magic the gathering.
Yes, they have some interesting imagery on them, but even this, the rider weight set that I use, this was a redesign.
The originals were far more prosaic.
And in fact, the suit cards having designs on them, that wasn't developed until the 20th century.
The other cards looked like a regular playing card deck.
There is no ancient tarot deck.
They're only 500 years old.
and they're there for playing medieval Pokemon.
It's not just tarot cards, either.
Or you run into this issue.
There's a book called The Gabbalion, which it's exactly what you're hoping.
It claims to be a distillation of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus, of the alchemists.
It's got the eight rules of reality, all is polarity, all is masculine, feminine, you know, as within, so without, as above, so below.
Change the below, change the above, change the within, change the without.
It's fantastic stuff.
Eight rules to live your life by that'll do a lot better than the twelve that are being marketed to you right now.
Ancient wisdom from Hermes the Thrice Great.
It's a 20th century invention.
Ancient Wisdom Revisited 00:04:49
Well, what about astrology?
Astrology has a rich body of work.
Surely it is ancient knowledge.
Astrology as we presently understand it didn't really exist in its present form until the late Roman Empire.
You even go back to Babylon.
They didn't even have the sign of Libra, my sign, the more cheerful and friendly form of Aquarius.
also ruined by saturn but in the good sense in the cutting intellect sense not the stealing your money sense now most of the developments in astrology happened in first and second millennium The vast majority of astrology comes from this period.
Okay, what about Latin?
I've said so many times that Latin is a superior language to English.
I quite enjoy Latin.
However, the vocabulary of English, and I haven't looked this up.
I'm just going off general knowledge for the record.
But the simple vocabulary of English is at minimum a thousand times the vocabulary of Latin.
Not present-day Latin, but what we had 2,000 years ago.
English is actually a superior language overall, even if it's not as beautifully organized and concise as Latin is.
It's a bigger language.
it's a better language.
To put it simply, there is no, there is no ur text that contains all the secret wisdom of the universe.
Even the Bible, that wasn't assembled and partly constructed until the 7th century BC.
It's not even that old.
We have older books than that.
The fact is, knowledge has been growing upon knowledge.
And you're not going to go and find that truth.
I am actually working right now on a grimoire covering in detail with citations accurate historical, informative knowledge of all these things, of astrology, of the tarot, of Oum, of the runes, of the gods, the planets, of all of this stuff.
This is the project I've put before myself to create a grimoire of all this knowledge that I wish I had right now and that I think many of you might find useful.
But I'm going to tell you right up front, there is no Ur text.
There is no root text of alchemy that served to unlock both the spiritual and chemical practices that alchemy led to.
There's just a progression of knowledge.
All knowledge is tentative.
And yet, when you pray in Latin, your prayers are more powerful.
When I use these medieval Pokemon cards, it is striking how accurate they are.
Holographic Reality 00:06:31
And the patterns you find in Gematria and astrology are very, very significant.
What the heck is going on with all of this?
So let's get to the metaphysics part of this.
The metaphysics is what is the nature of reality?
What is the primordial duality that makes up reality is I thou.
I observe the thou environment.
Now, here's the interesting thing about I thou.
When I'm at a gross state of consciousness, in fact, at the gross state of consciousness, you're not really aware of I or thou.
There's things in your environment, and there's your reaction to those things in the environment.
But the gross state of consciousness, the material level of consciousness, is in a way it's sort of unconscious to all of it.
Like you're definitely feeling what you're feeling, and you're seeing what you're seeing, but you're so busy feeling and seeing that you can't tell that you're feeling and seeing.
You're not being very self-reflective.
The self-reflective starts to come on at the subtle stages.
And at the subtle stages, you begin to notice your own perceptions, the nature of your perception, your biases, your emotions coloring the way you observe things.
And you begin to see the things you observe not merely in how they relate to you, but how they relate to one another, that you're not the center of attention.
that there's other centers of attention out there, other centers of perception.
But it's only above this at the non-causal, or the non-dual states.
Again, this would be the causal, the witness, and the enlightened stage, that duality collapses.
You realize that observer and observed are made out of the same substance.
That all of reality is made out of the same substance.
And it's just been pulled apart so that it can pretend to be two opposites so that reactions can occur.
Reality has two aspects.
The first is that reality is holographic.
Now, what this means is that every particle of reality contains within itself every other part of reality.
Wittgenstein talked about this.
That it's as if the universe, it's as if God were a giant reflecting mirror reflecting himself who shattered himself into an infinite number of individual parts, an infinite number of mirrored parts that reflect everything else.
Each part contains the whole within itself.
But reality is also holonic.
Holonic is when The whole is bigger than the sum of its parts.
But it's also the sum of its parts.
So every body is made of cells.
And cells are made of molecules, which are made of atoms, which are made of subatomic particles and, you know, turtles all the way down.
So we've got the holographic that everything contains everything else, but we also have an ascension that even though everything contains everything else, some things contain more things than others.
And this is what leads to the fractal nature of reality, that reality is an infinite, iterated pattern of light and dark, contrasting one another and working together, even though light and dark are fundamentally made out of the same thing.
but they interplay with each other into an infinite regress.
If you haven't seen the thumbprint of God, that fractal, look it up.
That is how reality works.
Thumbprint Of God Fractals 00:07:48
And so any incident that you have, like let's go back to the gematria for a second.
Why is it that we have these really weird and meaningful patterns appearing when we assign numerical value to names of prominent people that appear in situations?
That's because reality is literally just the same substance stretched out so that there can be contrasts.
And to accomplish that stretching also requires correspondences throughout the entire network.
This is why, as above, so below, as within, so without.
This is just the nature of reality stretched out into duality.
This is why gematria works for all languages.
The traditional practitioners focused on Hebrew in particular, thinking there's something special about that language, because, you know, it's not what Jesus spoke, but okay, it's what the Bible was written in.
There's nothing special about Hebrew or Aramaic or Proto-Indo-European or Latin or English.
And yet, when you embed yourself in a particular pattern, you take advantage of all the energy of that pattern.
One of the dangers with all of this, let's go back to that thumbprint of God.
I trust you all know it, but go watch it if you haven't.
It is fascinating.
It's amazing.
You could watch that thing forever.
And therein lies the rub.
In the planescape setting, in the city of Sigil, ruled by the lady of pain, the hub of all the different potential realities that exist.
One of the rules is that the lady of pain, who's probably a deity, does not want to be worshipped.
And if you worship her and you get her attention, the first punishment is she mazes you.
She puts you into a maze, which you may or may not be able to get out of.
That thumbprint of God, beautiful and striking and infinite.
It hints at the pattern.
It shows you that there's something going on with these fractals.
There is truth there.
But no matter how long or how deep you dive into it, you're just going to find more of the same.
And so this is a danger that you run into this with Gematria, for example.
You can endlessly find numerical significance with all sorts of things, which is not to dismiss gematria.
I'm not saying don't look into it.
What I'm saying is that you can look into it infinitely.
Same thing with knowledge in general.
You know, maybe I'm going to come back to you in six months' time and said, actually, you know what?
I found some evidence that Duke Visconti was part of a mystery cult.
All knowledge is tentative.
There's always more to research.
There's always more to learn.
And yet at one point you have to stop learning and you have to act.
You don't have to make a damn YouTube video on the topic.
This fractal nature of reality is why you find patterns everywhere.
It's...
Reality requires patterns.
Reality can't exist without these fractal, repetitive turtles all the way down and turtles all the way up.
It's a precondition for reality existing in a state of false duality.
So if all of it's fake, if all of it's just patterns within patterns, then why do these things work?
Why do the tarot cards work, if they're just medieval Pokemon cards?
Well, I could swap them out for Pokemon cards and they would work just as well.
Because the Pokemon cards...
You take those, you are going to find the exact same patterns in those.
You grab your stack of Magic the Gathering, you lay them out in order, you are going to have the original Star Wars trilogy.
You are going to have the path of the Catholic mystic, of the Bodhisattva, of Dharma.
That's just how these damn things work, man.
So I definitely lean more traditional magician than sorcerer.
But this unlimited fractal nature of reality, this musical scale, where you can use Pythagorean tuning if you want, and you can keep it to 12 notes, or you can keep going.
Infinite Notes, Finite Sound 00:03:43
There's an infinite number of musical notes out there.
There is no limit on how many notes you can find in a scale.
But quite frankly, if you try and use more than 12 notes, at some point you're just playing noise.
So chaos magic is when you start to realize that there's an infinite number of musical notes.
There's an infinite number of gods.
There's an infinite number of planetary aspects.
You can always go deeper.
And when you let go of any of the control mechanisms, that's when you start getting some very interesting egregors.
Pepe the Frog, which many years ago I called out the satanic inversion that certain groups were trying to apply to Pepe.
Is he the god of transgressions or regressions?
They were trying to turn him into the latter.
But I quite like Pepe.
And now we've got Amelia.
Amelia, all this latent masculine energy, masculine desire.
But again, non-duality.
can't have masculine desire without the feminine desiree.
And so all of this, all of this building suppressed energy from the broken sexual marketplace, sexual marketplace that has been broken because of politics.
Well, they made the very worst game at the very worst time for their evil agenda, didn't they?
And they accidentally made the bad ending being with you get with the hot goth chick and you support Britain.
No masculine desire without female desirability.
No female desirability without masculine desire.
You can try and separate these things.
You can try and contain these things, but all you're doing is creating a pressure cooker, and eventually it births a new agregor.
And so we've got Amelia, a symbol that cannot be dragged down, cannot be destroyed, any more than Pepe the Frog.
You cannot destroy Pepe the Frog.
he's an egregore.
And now we've got a new symbol for female desirability and an aim, an actionable aim for male desire.
Such is the nature of chaos magic.
Don't lose yourself in the maze.
The Map Is Not the Territory 00:02:27
As I said, I'm going to try and be putting together this grimoire over the next year, which serves as a map.
That's all any of this is.
Language, books.
These are all maps, and the map is never the territory.
You can always get more granular.
You cannot answer this question.
What is the length of a coastline?
Or what is the surface area of a country?
The more granular you get with the coastline, the longer the coastline becomes.
And because the Earth is not a sphere, it's not an oblate spheroid either.
It's a geoid, a lumpy oblate spheroid.
And so the question, what is the square area of this polity, it actually has no answer.
It depends how you're asking the question.
What premise are we using for asking the question?
There's a different answer for every map projection that you use.
If you want to get really particular, well, what are you considering the surface?
Are blades of grass part of the surface?
Because if we map every blade of grass, that's going to drastically increase the surface area, isn't it?
I like using maps.
I like having simplified lists.
I like things like the Caballion, even if it's not as old as it pretends to be.
But the map is not the territory.
The territory is an infinitely fractal, self-reflective, holonic, and holographic infinitude.
Tap into that and you've tapped into chaos magic.
Carpe fiaturum, tenitratitum.
