Time Text
There's been a lot of controversy recently over an upcoming video game, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, questioning whether or not the game has gone woke.
And while it's impossible to say for sure until the game comes out, I think this is a false positive that a lot of people are getting.
And I don't think it's the first false positive.
The problem with the word woke is that it's not about a checklist.
Having a black character or a gay character doesn't make something necessarily woke.
For example, advocating against domestic violence is not woke.
Saying that all men are rapists is.
Defending gay rights isn't woke, but encouraging children to pursue risky sexual practices is.
Fighting against bigotry isn't woke, but saying that all white men are racist, well, that is.
You see, woke, woke is a Gnostic millennialist materialist cult that seeks to tear everything down.
And so to expand upon that definition, materialist, they don't view any supernatural entities, any higher levels of existence.
There's just meat and material and power that you can wield over it.
There's no God above judging us or expecting us to live a particular way.
So everything's permissible.
