It was the coolest thing.
Elephants aren't just big, but they're big on family too.
So as you all know, in San Diego, my neck of the woods, there was a 5.2 earthquake.
And the elephants at the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, they formed a protective circle around their young.
I mean, this is the most beautiful thing that I have seen in a while.
So I want to play it for you so you can see it.
It's beautiful.

I wonder if they think, though, that it's like a rival herd stampeding or something stampeding coming towards them.

But I thought that was so neat.
And that's at the San Diego Zoo, the Safari Park, which is a beautiful zoo.
If you've ever been, it's really interesting.
But to see them act in a way to protect their own, it's like, wow, I wish humans were as nice to their own.
Sometimes they're just not.
To see something like this, and you could see the camera shaking, ground shaking, and how they responded to it.

Doge announces a $2.6 billion in savings after terminating 180 wasteful contracts.
It includes $85.5,000 for live plant maintenance services, a contract, and a $265.5,000 for social media monitoring subscription.

They're saving us all kinds of money.
I just saw the also the Levette just said on their news conference or press briefing that she said the president made it clear to Harvard, follow federal law, no longer break Title IV, talking about Harvard's more than $2 billion out the door to Harvard.
And then she said, which begs the question, why are we giving you $2 billion when you have a $50 billion endowment already?

I've been screaming this even from here forever.

I mean, it's so frustrating when you see how the elite and how these universities have just taken our taxpayer money the way they talked about this yesterday.

And then you take another guy and you take him out and give him $10 an hour to start and you start teaching him how to frame a house.
Then you teach him how to, you know, he's a cutter and he cuts woods.
And then sooner or later he learns how to roof and he learns how to build everything, do everything to build a house from the ground up.
It might take him four years and then he becomes just a great carpenter.
And then you take another guy who's read a book about it for four years.
He gets a master's, you know, then he goes to school for eight more years and gets a master's degree in building now.
Now he's a master builder.
And then you take this guy 12 years later who can go out there with two or three of his buddies and build a three-story house by themselves in about four months.
And the guy read the book, he wouldn't know where to start.
He wouldn't even know how to drive a pylon in or pour a concrete pad or anything.
There's so many, unless you're going to be a doctor, a lawyer, or anything.
And then again, they don't learn anything until they go to be an intern, right?
Until they go actually go to the hospitals and actually start putting their fingers in bullet holes and removing, you know what I mean, and removing appendixes and stuff and actually going hands-on.
You can't learn anything just sitting there reading it.
You have to actually get out there and do it.
And that's the problem with college.
Well, I think that it also depends on the environment.
And it also, of course, depends on the teacher.
I've got so many friends still that were my teachers growing up that I am still in contact with.
And they truly were inspiring.
But I think that people learn at different stages, right, in their life.
I mean, you see that a lot where, you know, maybe you weren't ready for school at this particular time in your life, but yet now you're reading more than you ever have and you would like to pick something up.
But we've seen a lot of things that have happened in the colleges, right?
I mean, you've seen how it has just become just something other than just a learning institution, right?
But you can learn all this yourself online.
Anything.
Right.
I mean, you can pull up anything.
You got a certain kind of cancer, pull it up.
You can be, you can, within a month, you can have just as much knowledge as anybody on earth.
Well, and they suggest you do that too.
I mean, if you have something like that, to definitely check into all of those different things.

There's ways to teach yourself.
I mean, people have taught themselves their, you know, who you think's a better surgeon, right?
The 19-year-old guy who was in battle in Vietnam in triage out in the field for two or three years or somebody that's an intern.

It's experience.

So they are looking at Congress to cut the $9 billion in spending for various programs, including for the publicly funded media outlets, NPR, as well as PBS, first reported by the New York Post.
The administration is also wanting to cut those funds for U.S. agency for international development, USAID.

We don't know of any other students or faculty that has been injured at this particular time, but that's what's going on.
