[00:01:28] Nothing much. [00:01:30] Are you going to fire him? [00:01:33] I've been reading about it, but I know nothing about it. [00:01:37] Are you autistic about Iranian response to this tonight? [00:01:40] What about it? [00:01:41] Are you autistic about Iranian response? [00:01:43] Do you propose that? [00:01:44] We'll see what happens. [00:01:45] Look, they have no military. [00:01:48] They have not a lot left. [00:01:49] We'll see what happens. [00:01:53] If you decide to pull your out. [00:01:55] I'm sorry, Mr. President, you announced a three-day ceasefire in the Ukraine-Russia war. [00:01:59] Do you anticipate that that would be any longer than you? [00:02:02] It could be. [00:02:03] I mean, it could be. [00:02:03] It would be nice. [00:02:04] I'd like to see it stop. [00:02:06] Russia, Ukraine. [00:02:08] It's the worst thing since World War II in terms of life. [00:02:11] 45,000 young soldiers every month. [00:02:14] It's crazy. [00:02:15] So it could very well be. [00:02:19] If you decide to pull troops from Germany, will you move them to Poland or maybe some other countries on the Eastern Flank? [00:02:25] Well, Poland would like that. [00:02:27] We have a great relationship with Poland. [00:02:29] I have a great relationship with the president. [00:02:32] You remember, I endorsed him and he won. [00:02:35] And he came from way behind and he won. [00:02:38] He's a great fighter. [00:02:39] He's a great guy. [00:02:41] I like him a lot. [00:02:42] So that's possible. [00:02:43] But when you do it, he's asking to try. [00:02:47] Mr. President, you seem to have happy about the election of your prime minister of Iraq. [00:02:54] How is it important Kurdistan regional government, Iraqi federal government, and United States of America working together and reduce minister influence on the region and special in Iraq? [00:03:07] So we had a great election in Iraq. [00:03:10] We had somebody that I very strongly endorse. [00:03:14] He won by a lot, and I wasn't happy with the person who was there previously. [00:03:20] So it was a great victory. [00:03:21] We had a lot of great victories. [00:03:22] We had a big surprise. [00:03:24] We had a big victory today in Virginia, as you know, and we have a lot of victories, but the victory in Iraq was really great. [00:03:37] Are you bringing someone new in to lead the FDA? [00:03:39] No, Mr. President. [00:03:40] How did you say about the UK election results off site? [00:03:44] I should have leave that to them. [00:03:46] I'm happy about everything. [00:03:48] Our country is doing well. [00:03:50] We just have new stock market records. [00:03:52] Everybody's 401k is hitting a record. [00:03:55] The numbers are absolutely incredible. [00:03:58] The job numbers. [00:03:59] We have more people working today than we ever had working in this country. [00:04:03] The job numbers today were incredible. [00:04:05] Thank you. [00:04:18] Any reaction? [00:04:19] No, I have no reaction to that. [00:04:20] Not at all. [00:04:21] I think we're doing very well. [00:04:23] Iran is seeming to be coming along very well. [00:04:26] Militarily, very good. [00:04:27] We'll see whether or not they can get there. [00:04:29] Steve, go ahead. [00:04:34] We have it. [00:04:35] We have very good people looking at it. [00:04:37] It seems to be okay. [00:04:39] They know the virus very well. [00:04:41] They've worked with it for a long time. [00:04:43] They know it very well. [00:04:44] Not easy to pass on. [00:04:46] So we hope that's true. [00:04:56] We discussed everything. [00:04:57] President of Brazil, we discussed everything. [00:04:59] We had a very good meeting. [00:05:00] We have a very good relationship with him and with Brazil. [00:05:04] We discussed everything, including tariffs. [00:05:12] No, no, I asked, and President Putin agreed. [00:05:16] President Zelensky agreed, both readily. [00:05:19] And we have a little period of time where they're not going to be killing people. [00:05:23] That's very good. [00:05:26] And they also agreed to give a thousand on each side, a thousand prisoners back. [00:05:31] So they're going to be transferring almost immediately a thousand prisoners from each side. [00:05:37] That's very good. [00:05:37] Russia-Ukraine. [00:05:40] Yeah, I will. [00:05:42] I'd like to see a big extension. [00:05:46] Will your team travel to Moscow, Mr. President? [00:05:52] No, we seem to have things under very good control. [00:05:55] They know that virus very well. [00:05:56] It's been around a long time. [00:05:58] Not easily transferable, unlike COVID. [00:06:01] But we'll see. [00:06:02] We're studying it very closely. [00:06:04] We have very good people studying it very closely. [00:06:08] We're at a point almost 10 weeks after missile hitting German still in Iran. [00:06:13] Pre-fired, Dr. Saud. [00:06:16] So that's under study right now, and we'll give you a report as soon as we have it. [00:06:22] Will you send your team to Moscow out of your process that ceasefire in the Ukraine war? [00:06:27] We'll negotiate further. [00:06:29] What? [00:06:30] Will you send your team to Moscow to negotiate further and out of your country? [00:06:34] Well, I would do it. [00:06:35] If I thought it would help, I'd do it. [00:06:37] I'd love to see that war end. [00:06:39] I've settled eight wars and actually nine, and now it looks like we could have ten, but I would love to make that the tenth, I will tell you. [00:06:48] I would love to see an end between Russia and Ukraine. [00:06:51] That were 25,000 young soldiers were killed last month, and it's on average 25 to 30,000 soldiers a month. [00:07:01] It's a terrible war. [00:07:16] I love South Korea. [00:07:23] I don't think so. [00:07:24] We might be hurt, but I don't think so. [00:07:34] We were asked not to do that by Pakistan, who's our friend, as you know, the Prime Minister and the field marshal. [00:07:40] But I think Project Freedom is good, but I think we have other ways of doing it also. [00:07:46] We may go back to Project Freedom, but please don't have it, but it is the Project Freedom Plus, meaning Project Freedom Plus on the same. [00:07:54] Mr. President, why did you ask the name for a ceasefire that Putin wanted? [00:08:00] Well, we have a ceasefire, and I think everyone's happy, President Zelensky, President Putin, I think you're happy to have it, as we're doing now. [00:08:09] Mr. President, I'm sorry, it's a war here. [00:08:13] I'm trying to get into Iraq, anti-Rabbing Kordesan, because after ceasefire, we did on several times, Iranian regime, and praffed the partisan Iraqi Kordesan out your column. [00:08:25] We want to get the whole thing ended, not just individual movement, we want to get the whole thing ended, and we will. [00:08:31] Mr. President, we will have a vote, Mr. President, are you going to come out with a vote? [00:09:52] While Congress returns facing a June 1st deadline to pass filibuster-proof legislation funding immigration and customs enforcement and Border Patrol through 2029, the end of President Trump's term, Republican lawmakers are using the budget reconciliation process in attempt to fast-track and pass the bill without Democratic support by that deadline. [00:10:12] House Budget Committee Chair Jody Arrington said the funding is needed to avoid future shutdowns of the federal immigration enforcement agencies. [00:10:20] It'll be a couple weeks. [00:10:22] Everyone's committed. [00:10:23] It's straightforward. [00:10:24] We're not loading it up with anything. [00:10:26] I've had a lot of questions about a lot of different items going into this. [00:10:32] But it's just ICE and CBP. [00:10:34] It's regular order. [00:10:36] It's normal operations. [00:10:38] It's just extended for three years so we don't find ourselves back here. [00:10:41] House Budget Committee Chair Arrington calls this ICE funding process regular order, but it's an unusual procedure only being used so Republicans can pass the bill without the support of Democrats. [00:10:52] Leaders plan to move the bill through committees and then onto the House and Senate floors for final votes so it can be sent to President Trump's desk by the June 1st deadline. [00:11:01] Watch live coverage of the budget process over the next two weeks in the House on C-SPAN, the Senate on C-SPAN 2, on our free video app C-SPANNOW and our website c-span.org. [00:11:15] Former Vice President Kamala Harris joined a conversation in Las Vegas on the Democratic agenda and the 2026 midterms. [00:11:22] She talked about the importance of winning a Democratic majority in Congress and encouraged people to get out and vote. [00:11:28] She also addressed the implications of a Supreme Court decision that weakened the Voting Rights Act and criticized Trump administration foreign policy decisions such as the conflict with Iran. [00:11:39] Vice President Harris, welcome back to the Battleborn State. === Harris Discusses 2026 Midterms (00:15) === [00:11:43] Thank you. [00:11:46] I see many friends.
