[00:00:13] This Artemis II mission is a preview for a future human landing on the moon, which would be the first for NASA in over 50 years. [00:00:21] Launch time set for 6.24 p.m. Eastern. [00:01:43] And we're joined now by an astronaut, Steve Bowen, NASA astronaut. [00:01:49] Steve, can you hear me? [00:01:51] Yes, Mimi, I can hear you. [00:01:53] Welcome to the program. [00:01:54] Well, tell us about your experience as a NASA astronaut. [00:01:57] What kind of missions have you been on? [00:02:00] Well, I've been an astronaut for over 25 years. [00:02:03] I did three space shuttle flights sort of later in the program. [00:02:06] And a few years ago, I did a ISS expedition. [00:02:11] We launched on a crew dragon and was a part of Expeditions 68 and 69 for 184 days. [00:02:18] So what's it like, Steve, looking down at Earth from space? [00:02:24] Absolutely amazing. [00:02:25] I highly recommend it for everybody. [00:02:28] It really is a unique perspective and you get a true sense of sense of the Earth, I think. [00:02:34] Well, the crew members are getting ready to take off as scheduled tomorrow. [00:02:40] What do you think they're feeling right now? [00:02:44] Well, what they're doing is, I mean, they're making sure that they're mentally prepared. [00:02:48] You know, they've had the opportunity over the past few months as this has become more and more real to ensure that their family's prepared and that they've got everything sort of in order.
