CSPAN - President Trump Speaks to Reporters Aired: 2026-03-11 Duration: 12:59 === Eliminating Iran's Threats (09:59) === [00:00:00] And we are also coordinating and serving side by side with all of our partners in the Middle East. [00:00:05] We're on a path to eliminating Iran's ability to threaten Americans and our friends, and we are achieving this through a combination of lethality, precision, and rapid innovation. [00:00:15] Let me highlight a few examples, at least the ones that aren't classified, of how we are achieving lethal effects in entirely new ways. [00:00:23] First, our warfighters are leveraging a variety of advanced AI tools. [00:00:28] These systems help us sift through vast amounts of data in seconds so our leaders can cut through the noise and make smarter decisions faster than the enemy can react. [00:00:38] Humans will always make final decisions on what to shoot and what not to shoot and when to shoot. [00:00:44] But advanced AI tools can turn processes that used to take hours and sometimes even days into seconds. [00:00:50] I continue to be impressed with all the branches of the U.S. military. [00:00:54] The entire team is performing superbly. [00:00:56] Strike operations from our joint force continue, as I've said. [00:01:00] I assess that we are clearly exercising air superiority over vast swaths of Iran. [00:01:06] We have the most integrated air defense umbrella in the Middle East, and our defensive operations from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force teams are performing magnificently. [00:01:18] A note about the Space Force. [00:01:20] Our space superiority has been a critical enabler to this fight. [00:01:23] Unseen by the world. [00:01:25] This is available to watch online at our website, c-span.org. [00:01:28] We are going to leave this here for now. [00:01:31] President Trump just a short time ago. [00:01:34] It is the best, it's the most powerful in the world, and they're hitting them very hard. [00:01:38] This is 47 years of abuse and killing lots of people, killing and maiming lots of people. [00:01:46] What is it, Peter? [00:01:48] What more do you need to do militarily for this operation to end? [00:01:51] More of the same, and we'll see how that all comes out. [00:01:55] Right now, they've lost their Navy, they've lost their Air Force, they have no anti-aircraft apparatus at all. [00:02:05] They have no radar. [00:02:07] Their leaders are gone. [00:02:11] And we could do a lot worse to one another. [00:02:13] We're leaving certain things that if we take them out or we could take them out by this afternoon, in fact, within an hour, they literally would never be able to build that country better. [00:02:26] A new report shows, a new report says that the military investigation has found that the United States struck the school in Iran. [00:02:33] As commander-in-chief, you take responsibility for that. [00:02:36] That is what? [00:02:38] As commander-in-chief, do you take for the strike on the school in Iran? [00:02:42] A new report says the military investigation has found it was the United States that struck the school. [00:02:47] I don't know, but are you talking about the USA? [00:02:52] Are you talking to the CEOs of various oil companies, encouraging them to use the straight-up formula? [00:02:59] I think they should. [00:03:00] I think they should. [00:03:01] I think they should use it. [00:03:02] They're responsible. [00:03:04] How do you respond? [00:03:05] Look, we took out just about all of their mine ships in one night. [00:03:10] We're up to boat number 60. [00:03:12] I didn't realize that that big a Navy. [00:03:15] I would say it was big and ineffective. [00:03:17] But every one of their ships, just about all of their Navy is gone. [00:03:21] It's bottom of this thing. [00:03:25] Have they laid any mines in the straight-up army? [00:03:27] We don't think so. [00:03:31] President Pennsylvania. [00:03:33] Is Senator Soon listening to you when you say you want to pass the Save America Act? [00:03:38] He says there aren't the votes to do it right now. [00:03:40] What's your response? [00:03:41] Well, he's got to be a leader. [00:03:42] You know, if he's a leader, he's got to get him. [00:03:44] It's the most popular bill I've ever seen put before Congress. [00:03:49] And it's voter ID and it's voter. [00:03:51] You have to be able to be a citizen to vote. [00:03:54] You've got to full citizenship. [00:03:57] And we're also adding in no men playing in women's sports, no transgender mutilization of our children, and no mail-in ballots, faked mail-in balance. [00:04:09] We have none of that, except in the case of the military, et cetera. [00:04:17] It is the Save America Act. [00:04:21] It's the most popular bill I think I've ever put before. [00:04:28] Can you declare victory in this war if the supreme leader remains the Ayatollah son? [00:04:35] I don't want to comment on that. [00:04:36] I don't want to comment on that. [00:04:37] But I will tell you, I just spoke with various countries, the leaders of various countries, you'll have a list. [00:04:44] And they said they've never seen anything like it. [00:04:47] We have, and I built it during my first term and I used it. [00:04:51] I didn't realize I was going to use it this much, but we have the greatest military in the world by far. [00:04:57] Nobody close. [00:05:01] About a domestic terrorist attack by Iran, Mr. Mexican. [00:05:07] There were two countries that were not invited to the shield of the Americas. [00:05:11] Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia were not invited to the Shield of the Americas. [00:05:15] Why was that? [00:05:15] And could they come in the future to begin? [00:05:18] I think they were invited. [00:05:20] Maybe they didn't come. [00:05:21] I think they were. [00:05:22] I get along very well with all of them. [00:05:26] In Iraqi parliament, you then, Member Slugan, says to America, say to Israel, what is your response to them? [00:05:35] What is your message for Iraqi government? [00:05:37] What did he say? [00:05:39] In Iraqi parliament, Slugan, date of America, date of Israel, member of the parliament. [00:05:45] That's the America, that's the Israel. [00:05:47] What's your response to that? [00:05:49] That's not a nice question. [00:05:52] Mr. President, did Spain intervene after you told them that you would commerce ties with them? [00:05:58] Are they cooperating with the United States? [00:06:00] Oh, Spain. [00:06:01] No, they're not. [00:06:02] I think they're not cooperating at all. [00:06:04] Spain, I think they've been very bad. [00:06:07] Very bad. [00:06:08] Not good at all. [00:06:09] We may cut off trade with Spain. [00:06:15] I don't know what Spain's doing. [00:06:16] They've been very bad to NATO. [00:06:19] They get protected. [00:06:20] They don't want to pay their fair share. [00:06:22] And they've been that way for many years, actually. [00:06:26] Let me give you the good news. [00:06:27] Let me give you the good news. [00:06:29] The people of Spain are fantastic. [00:06:32] The leadership, like you. [00:06:34] The leadership, not so good. [00:06:38] Lebanon is under attack. [00:06:40] And Hezbonda is making danger for Taliban, especially the Taliban Christian. [00:06:45] What is your message for Lebanon? [00:06:46] Well, we're working on it very hard. [00:06:49] We love Lebanon. [00:06:50] We love the people of Lebanon. [00:06:52] And we're working very hard. [00:06:53] We've got to get rid of the Hezbollah. [00:06:55] It's been a disaster for many years. [00:07:02] The new oil refinery is going up in Brownville, Texas. [00:07:05] We want Americans to know about that. [00:07:07] About what? [00:07:07] About the new oil refinery going up in Brownsville. [00:07:10] Oh, it would be great. [00:07:12] It's going to be the greatest anywhere in the world. [00:07:14] There's never been anything like it. [00:07:16] It's great that it's going up in Texas. [00:07:18] You know, it's very hard to get refineries done. [00:07:21] This will be like nothing else ever built. [00:07:25] It's a great thing. [00:07:26] Thank you for that question. [00:07:36] Well, look, we've knocked out their Navy. [00:07:39] We've knocked out their Air Force. [00:07:41] We've knocked out all of their anti-defense. [00:07:44] We've taken out 60 mine boats, 59 mine boats, which nobody has ever seen anything like it. [00:07:53] We have the greatest military in the world by far, not even close. [00:07:59] But you know what? [00:08:00] They've inflicted 47 years worth of damage to the world, and now they're a big price. [00:08:09] Mr. President, would you, are you willing to withdraw the U.S. from Iran, even if they have not turned over and allowed the U.S. to seize their remains? [00:08:22] I'm not going to answer that, but we have hit them harder than virtually any country in history has been hit. [00:08:30] And we're not finished yet. [00:09:49] Later today, President Trump is speaking about the economy and affordability after visiting a packaging facility in northern Kentucky. [00:12:44] You only knew if you read the book, Parking and Traffic Commission. [00:12:47] You were offered the film commission, I believe, by Willie Brown. [00:12:49] Look at this.
