[00:00:28]  This is also a massive victory for democracy and for freedom.
[00:00:39]  Earlier today, President Trump spoke briefly to reporters outside the White House as he returned from looking at spots on the White House North Lawn for a new flagpole.
[00:00:48]  He also talked about trade negotiations with China.
[00:00:54]  They all want to be involved with America.
[00:00:58]  Be careful, folks.
[00:00:59]  They all want to be involved with America, and we have a lot of action going on.
[00:01:05]  We're making a lot of money this country.
[00:01:06]  This country is not going to be losing money on trade anymore.
[00:01:10]  We were losing $2 trillion a year on trade.
[00:01:13]  Now we're going to be making money, a lot of money.
[00:01:15]  So that's very good.
[00:01:16]  Every country wants to partake, even countries that have ripped us off for many, many years.
[00:01:22]  China is an example.
[00:01:23]  But it's not just China.
[00:01:25]  European Union, they ripped us off for many, many years, and those days are over.
[00:01:30]  We're going to make a lot of money for our people.
[00:01:32]  We'll be able to lower taxes substantially.
[00:01:35]  And we're going to be proud of ourselves.
[00:01:36]  They're not going to be a laughing stock that got taken advantage of by virtually every country in the world.
[00:01:47]  We thought you said you were going up to launch for a flag.
[00:01:49]  What was going on on that?
[00:01:49]  We're putting up a beautiful, almost 100-foot-tall American flag on this side and another one on the other side.

[00:02:00]  And they've needed flagpoles for 200 years.
[00:02:04]  It was something I've often said, you know, they don't have a flagpole per se.
[00:02:10]  So we're putting one right where you saw us, and we're putting another one on the other side on top of the mounds.

[00:02:26]  They arrive in about a week or so.

[00:02:32]  Yeah, we are going to have a fair deal with China.

[00:02:41]  Everybody wants to be a part of what we're doing.
[00:02:44]  They know that they can't get away with it any longer, but they're still going to do fine.
[00:02:48]  And we're going to have a country that you can be proud of, not a laughing stock all over the world for many years.
[00:02:54]  You know, in 1913, they traded to the income tax system.
[00:02:59]  We used to be all tariff, and we had no income tax, and we had the wealthiest country we've ever had proportionately from about 1870 to 1913.
[00:03:10]  It was all tariffs, and we did, we had more money than anybody.
[00:03:13]  They had committees, how to spend the money.
[00:03:15]  They had so much money they didn't know how to spend.
[00:03:17]  Then some brilliant person said, let's go income tax.
[00:03:21]  Let's let the people pay.
[00:03:23]  Now, we're going to be able to substantially lower taxes when this is finished.
[00:03:27]  So, Mr. Service, how does it look in the meantime?
[00:03:31]  It looks good, yeah.
[00:03:32]  No, it looks good.

[00:03:34]  We were losing anywhere from three to five billion dollars a day.
[00:03:40]  Think of it.
[00:03:40]  We're losing billions of dollars a day under Biden and other presidents, frankly.
[00:03:46]  But under Biden, it got really worse.
[00:03:48]  China got out of control.
[00:03:50]  We're losing a trillion dollars a year.
[00:03:52]  Trillion, not a billion, not a million, a trillion.
