CSPAN - President Trump White House Departure Remarks Aired: 2025-03-21 Duration: 06:56 === We'll Have It Done Soon (05:13) === [00:00:00] Monday afternoon there'll be oral arguments in the DC Circuit Court of Appeals on the government's emergency motion for a stay of the TRO. [00:00:09] So we'll see what the circuit court does and I think how the case plays out after that will be dictated by what the circuit does. [00:00:16] I know it's cold folks. [00:00:16] How about we let these guys go? [00:00:18] Are you bad? [00:00:20] Thank you. [00:00:20] Thanks. [00:00:21] Thanks, Mike. [00:00:27] ACLU. [00:00:29] Thanks, man. [00:00:30] How are you? [00:00:34] What's going on? [00:00:36] Good to see you. [00:00:37] Oh, come on. [00:00:38] Uh, yeah. [00:00:39] Earlier today, President Trump spoke to reporters before departing the White House to head to the NCAA wrestling finals in Bedminster, New Jersey. [00:00:53] Hello, everybody. [00:00:55] So we had a big day. [00:00:57] We gave out the world's greatest fighter jet by far, they say. [00:01:02] I think in terms of every criteria, known to man, it's the best. [00:01:08] Now, that doesn't mean in five years it'll be good. [00:01:11] It'll be totally obsolete in five years, I guess. [00:01:14] But that's the way it works. [00:01:15] But there's never been a plane designed or made like this, and we'll have them within about a two-year period. [00:01:23] They're going to start manufacturing very soon. [00:01:26] So we're honored by that. [00:01:28] We are moving along on Russia-Ukraine. [00:01:32] We had a couple of good conversations today, and maybe we can get that death march stopped as soon as possible. [00:01:40] And we're going to Bedminster now for work. [00:01:43] We have some work. [00:01:44] It's a little cold there right now. [00:01:45] It's a little early. [00:01:47] But we'll be going to Bedminster. [00:01:49] And we'll be coming back here. [00:01:51] We're going to the big fight. [00:01:53] The reason I'm going is in Philadelphia they have the NCAA World Wrestling for College. [00:02:01] And I've always supported the wrestlers, so I want to support them. [00:02:05] These are the great college wrestlers from the various schools. [00:02:09] I think Penn State is leading, and Nebraska is in second place right now, and a lot of good things. [00:02:14] So we're going to be going there on Saturday night and then probably down to either here or Southern White House. [00:02:23] So we're going to have a little, we're going to have a little fun. [00:02:25] But it was a great honor to give out that plane. [00:02:28] The technology is unbelievable. [00:02:31] There's never been anything like it. [00:02:33] It puts us 10 years ahead of any other country in terms of the fighter jets. [00:02:38] Thank you very much. [00:02:39] We'll see you later. [00:02:40] Thank you. [00:02:49] Not a deadline, but I think we'll have one. [00:02:51] I think, you know, they're going at it pretty heavy right now, as you probably saw, both of them. [00:02:55] But I think we'll have it done fairly soon. [00:02:58] President Trump, did you fill out a NCAA March Madness bracket? [00:03:02] I didn't. [00:03:02] I should have. [00:03:04] Have there been upsets? [00:03:05] A couple, right? [00:03:06] You laid down? [00:03:08] Did you talk with Tom Hanks at them? [00:03:10] I can give you one, but it may be backdated, right? [00:03:12] The Press, are you all concerned that anyone on those deportation flights on Saturday is not a gang member or does not belong in that prison? [00:03:21] Are you concerned about that? [00:03:21] The President, well, they checked him very carefully. [00:03:23] some bad people on those flights he didn't reject anything and they do have sanctions They have a lot of sanctions. [00:03:36] They have just about more sanctions than anybody. [00:03:42] It doesn't sound like this judge who the DOJ is arguing with today about the deportation flights. [00:03:49] He wants to know why the proclamation was signed in the dark, his words, and why people were rushed onto planes. [00:03:58] Because we want to get criminals out of our country, number one, and I don't know when it was signed because I didn't sign it. [00:04:03] Other people handled it, but Marco Rubio has done a great job, and he wanted them out, and we go along with that. [00:04:10] We want to get criminals out of our country. [00:04:12] If there was a flight like tonight with these guys, even though it's still being litigated, if there was a flight tonight full of accused gang members and somebody called and said, Mr. President, I know that this is still being adjudicated, but we can get these guys down to El Salvador right now. [00:04:28] Would you say that that's okay? [00:04:29] I would say that I'd have the Secretary of State handle it because I'm not really involved in that. [00:04:35] But the concept of getting bad people, murderers, rapists, drug dealers, all of the these are really some bad people out of our country. [00:04:46] I ran on that. [00:04:48] I won on that. [00:04:49] I got a margin. [00:04:50] Like, you know, you reported it very well. [00:04:53] Everybody did. [00:04:54] We won all seven swing states. [00:04:56] We won the popular vote. [00:04:58] We won everything. === Live Rally in Denver (01:57) === [00:04:59] And a big part of that was exactly this: getting bad people that shouldn't have been allowed into our country. [00:05:05] Biden allowed them in. [00:05:07] What they should be asking, this judge, this radical left judge, he should be saying, why did Biden allow these criminals in our country? [00:05:14] That's what he should be doing. [00:05:16] Thank you. [00:05:25] Today, Independent Senator Bernie Sanders and Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez host a rally in Denver, part of Senator Sanders' tour of congressional districts that were narrowly won by Republicans. [00:05:41] They're expected to discuss their economic policy agenda and what they say is the rise of authoritarianism in America. [00:05:49] Watch live at 7 p.m. Eastern on C-SPAN.
