[00:00:11] And as you know, in the Bible, it is said that Joseph will strengthen Israel. [00:00:17] And clearly, Mr. President, you've done it. [00:00:19] Thank you very much. [00:00:21] Well, I hope my father heard it. [00:00:23] My father was what we call a righteous Christian. [00:00:26] He couldn't understand why we didn't move more rapidly back in World War II than less. [00:00:31] And anyway. [00:00:32] That was a great legacy of your father. [00:00:35] Well, it was. [00:00:36] I remember how I got in trouble. [00:00:38] We were friends even back then when I said years ago as a senator, I said, you don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist. [00:01:37] 75 years of diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and the United States. [00:01:42] 75 years. [00:01:43] I'm proud that the partnership between our countries is stronger than it's ever been. [00:01:48] And today we're going to discuss how we continue to strengthen that partnership. [00:01:52] First, in my view, by advancing free and open Indo-Pacific with ASEAN at its center. [00:01:59] As to the largest democracies in the world, it seems to me our nations have a special responsibility in this vision. [00:02:06] Second, fighting the climate crisis. [00:02:09] Indonesia is a critical player in the clean energy transition. [00:02:13] And third, by building a secure and resilient supply chain. [00:02:17] And finally, by deepening our comprehensive strategic partnership that includes deepening our security cooperation. [00:02:26] We'll discuss also global challenges, including in Gaza and the South China Sea. [00:02:30] So, Mr. President, I'm looking forward to our discussion and welcome. [00:02:53] And then finally, I could make it, and you received me today. [00:02:59] The United States, for us, is a very great friend. [00:03:05] The United States supported us in our struggle for independence and helped us many times in our time of need. [00:03:16] Therefore, I will work very hard to strengthen Indonesian-United States relationship. [00:03:26] And I would like to work towards this end that we have a strong cooperation.
