Candace Owens - THIS Is Why I Don’t Watch the Oscars Aired: 2024-03-11 Duration: 06:53 === Nudity and Transgenderism in Hollywood (03:43) === [00:00:00] Last night, it was, in fact, the Oscars. [00:00:03] And you know what to expect. [00:00:05] Like I said, I didn't watch it, but I knew that there was going to be nudity. [00:00:08] I knew that the celebrities just can't get through an event without promoting nudity and or transgenderism, both if it's a really good night. [00:00:18] And so I was not at all surprised to learn that John Cena, the wrestler, decided to do a joke Supposed to be funny and appear naked as he was presenting the Oscar for Best Costume Design. [00:00:34] Here is a clip of that in case you missed it. [00:00:53] It's just incredible to me how funny they find that. [00:00:55] Like, they just think it's absolutely hilarious. [00:00:57] And listen, I don't have any ill will towards John Cena. [00:01:00] I just have ill will towards this needing to be necessary when you are presenting. [00:01:06] I don't understand it. [00:01:06] None of it makes any sense to me. [00:01:08] And what I perceive this to be is just kind of Hollywood constantly trying to establish trends. [00:01:15] And part of what they do is they have made us not sensitive to looking at nudity, right? [00:01:20] It's the desensitization. [00:01:22] is the effort that Hollywood is constantly making. [00:01:25] We talked about that last week in terms of transgenderism really being sold by Hollywood as something that was normal [00:01:32] through all of these acts that look to me to be humiliation rituals, right? [00:01:38] As just one example, here's a photo of a kid Cudi at the CFDA Awards. [00:01:43] Now, this is an older photo, but I'm just showing it to you. [00:01:45] It's from 2021, just to illustrate my point, which is that when they're trying to send down a narrative, [00:01:51] if they try to make it popular by having artists engage in, again, what I would term to be humiliation rituals, right? [00:01:58] We own the artists, we own the narrative. [00:02:00] We will tell your... [00:02:02] Children, what is cool? [00:02:03] We will establish what is cool and what is fine. [00:02:05] And there is this permeation of nudity, this permeation of transgenderism that Hollywood just cannot seem to let go of. [00:02:15] So I was not enthused. [00:02:16] I do not find it funny that he appeared naked. [00:02:19] Some people say, oh, he's just promoting a movie. [00:02:21] You know, he's going to be in a movie that is coming out soon. [00:02:24] Have we become so desensitized to nudity that we think that you can't promote without nudity? [00:02:28] Is that really what we're doing? [00:02:29] We're going to say that, you know, John Cena just, he has to promote the fact that he is in a movie and the only way for him to do that is without clothes on. [00:02:37] And that's funny. [00:02:38] It's not funny. [00:02:39] Just tell me what movie you're in, bro. [00:02:42] It will have the same effect if you're wearing a t-shirt and some shorts. [00:02:47] I will still be like, oh, that's really cool. [00:02:48] You have a movie that's coming up. [00:02:49] It sounds interesting. [00:02:49] Maybe I'll check it out. [00:02:51] We're in the midst of Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter. [00:02:54] Many Christians are choosing to give up alcohol, social media, and other distractions to focus more on prayer, fasting, and giving. [00:03:00] Hallow's annual Pray40 Challenge is one of their most popular. [00:03:04] Last year, over 1 million people joined. [00:03:06] This year's Pray40 Challenge focuses on surrender and includes meditations on the powerful book, He Leadeth Me. [00:03:12] This is a story about a priest who became a prisoner and a slave in the Soviet Union during the Cold War. [00:03:17] His story is one of ultimate surrender, and we are called to offer up our worries, anxieties, problems, and lives to God. [00:03:24] There will also be Lent music, Lent-specific Bible stories, and other Lenten prayers, like the 7 Last Words of Christ with Jim Caviezel. === Why I Love MMA (03:25) === [00:03:31] HALLO is truly transformative and will help you connect with your faith on a deeper level. [00:03:54] Best fight that I've been to. [00:03:55] You guys know I'm a UFC stan, as the kids are saying. [00:03:59] I still don't really know what that means. [00:04:00] But yes, I love the UFC for a lot of reasons. [00:04:02] On the show, we show you that the fighters are just authentic people. [00:04:06] They just say what they think. [00:04:07] It's none of the BS politics. [00:04:09] Dana White is running it phenomenally. [00:04:12] I absolutely love Dana White, who similarly defends free speech rights. [00:04:16] They're not painting the ground with BLM or anything. [00:04:20] They just allow people to think whatever it is that they want to think without corporatizing those ideas. [00:04:25] So last night, it was Sean O'Malley. [00:04:27] He won. [00:04:28] He is just weird. [00:04:30] This dude fights like a spider monkey. [00:04:31] He's incredible. [00:04:32] He comes out, and he looks like cotton candy. [00:04:36] And I've seen him fight multiple times, and I am just amazed. [00:04:38] Because when you look at him, he's so thin. [00:04:40] You're like, how is he going to win? [00:04:41] He does it every single time. [00:04:43] By the way, I'm saying last night because I'm so tired. [00:04:45] The fight didn't end until 3.30 a.m., but it was technically, I guess, Saturday night is when it began. [00:04:52] Lots of people were there. [00:04:53] Ivanka, Jared were there. [00:04:55] It was great to catch up with them. [00:04:56] But of course, the man, the myth, the legend, Donald J. Trump was there. [00:05:01] Here's a photo of me with Patrick Bette David. [00:05:04] I did his show. [00:05:05] We're going to talk about that in a little bit, as well as Vinny from that same show and Trump looking fantastic. [00:05:10] He looks fantastic. [00:05:11] That's all I can say. [00:05:12] He's got tons of energy. [00:05:14] In fact, before he came out, I was talking with Dana. [00:05:17] And he was saying how Trump was calling him, called me at 1, I'm paraphrasing here. [00:05:22] He called me at 3 a.m. [00:05:23] He called me at 6. [00:05:25] This guy does not sleep. [00:05:26] He is just constantly on the go. [00:05:29] And Dana was just amazed that he was going to make it to the fight. [00:05:32] He is working nonstop. [00:05:34] I briefly just caught up with him because I haven't seen him in a while. [00:05:36] Obviously, he's been very busy just having children. [00:05:39] And yeah, he just, the comparison between him and Biden. [00:05:43] It's not even close. [00:05:44] And my theory on why Trump has the mental faculties that he has about him is because [00:05:50] he's never drank alcohol in his entire life. [00:05:53] It's a story he doesn't really talk about. [00:05:54] I don't think he's ever talked about it. [00:05:56] But his older brother died with alcohol addiction because of his alcohol addiction. [00:06:01] And because of that, during his last years of life, he asked Trump to never drink. [00:06:08] Just like, you ruined my life, don't drink. [00:06:09] And Trump just didn't, his whole life, because he lost his brother. [00:06:12] He never has touched a glass of alcohol. [00:06:14] And as we know, alcohol does, of course, impact your brain. [00:06:18] And that is the reason, my scientific theory, of why Trump's is not impacted at all. [00:06:24] He's got a lot of years left on him. [00:06:25] I will tell you guys that. [00:06:27] But again, just talking about why I love MMA and the lack of politicizing anything, it really speaks to why I have grown so bored of sports that I used to love, like basketball, painting the ground BLM. [00:06:40] Everyone has to use it as a moment to promote whatever the thing is, whatever the media says the thing is. [00:06:46] So it's not BLM anymore, so the basketball players have moved on. [00:06:49] And I'm just sick of the narratives. [00:06:51] It's why I don't watch.
