Candace Owens - Why You Shouldn’t Bring Your Baby to a Bar Aired: 2024-03-06 Duration: 04:54 === Why Bring a Baby to a Bar? (04:53) === [00:00:00] There is an issue, another issue, on the internet and people are very divided on who is right and who is wrong. [00:00:05] I want to tell you this is a pretty serious issue because it has even divided us here at The Daily Wire. [00:00:10] I think that it's coming to a divorce, The Daily Wire. [00:00:15] Every commentator wants to go their separate ways, every commentator, because we cannot agree on this issue. [00:00:21] So we're turning to you guys for help. [00:00:23] So I'll show you the video. [00:00:25] There is a woman, just to set it up, at a bar restaurant, and she's holding a crying baby, and there is a woman, who does not appear to be sober, who is yelling at the woman who is holding the crying baby at the bar. [00:00:38] Take a listen. [00:00:39] I think you're 22. [00:00:41] Get out. [00:00:42] I'm 27. [00:00:43] Get your baby out of a bar! [00:00:45] We are! [00:00:45] We're leaving right now. [00:00:47] We're paying for our bill. [00:00:53] You guys are idiots. [00:00:54] Why would you do that? [00:00:57] Why would you do that? [00:00:59] He's having fun. [00:01:00] No, he's not having fun. [00:01:02] You're an idiot. [00:01:04] You're an idiot. [00:01:06] Get out of the bar. [00:01:07] Jamie, is that your name? [00:01:09] No, it's not. [00:01:09] Get your baby and get out of the bar. [00:01:11] I'm gonna f***ing... [00:01:13] Jamie, is that your name? [00:01:14] No, it's not. [00:01:15] Get your f***ing get out of the bar. [00:01:17] You have a baby in a bar. [00:01:20] She's telling you that I'm actually going to call the police. [00:01:22] They're bothering you. [00:01:24] You need to leave. [00:01:25] They have children in the bar. [00:01:27] Okay, so there's a lot of information that we don't have here. [00:01:39] It looks like it's a bar restaurant. [00:01:41] Just to be clear, this took place in Texas. [00:01:44] Obviously, the baby is screaming, so I know the mother there says the baby's having fun. [00:01:48] It doesn't sound like the baby's having fun to me as a mother with young children. [00:01:54] Let's see what Matt Walsh said. [00:01:55] So, Matt Walsh on Twitter said, Okay, fair. [00:01:58] It's not a rule that you can't bring a baby to a bar. [00:02:00] Vulgar drunk lady cussing out a young mother for disobeying a rule the drunk lady has simply made up on the spot, okay [00:02:07] fair It's it's not a rule that you can't bring a baby to a bar [00:02:10] He is absolutely correct about that and he's also correct about the fact that this woman is [00:02:16] Vulgar and drunk and it's vulgar Why are you saying get your effing baby? [00:02:19] I don't like saying effing baby at all. [00:02:22] Even if you disagree with the fact that she's in a bar, which could be the circumstance, that is not the way to go about it. [00:02:26] So I'm going to agree with him. [00:02:29] He goes on and he says, they serve alcohol at almost any sit-down restaurant. [00:02:33] The vast majority of sit-down restaurants have bars. [00:02:36] Are we supposed to never bring our kids to any of them? [00:02:39] And he adds on there, I had lunch with my kids at a sports bar a couple of weeks ago. [00:02:43] They had kids menus. [00:02:45] Lots of families there. [00:02:46] Very normal thing out in reality. [00:02:47] I've done it dozens and dozens of times. [00:02:49] Again, very normal. [00:02:51] Have people on this website ever been anywhere in the actual physical world? [00:02:54] Well you know what Matt Walsh, I have been places in the actual physical world. [00:02:59] So let me say that. [00:03:00] And I am a radical when it comes to bringing children to restaurants. [00:03:04] You guys know this, I've talked about this on the show. [00:03:06] I think your children should be a certain age before you bring them to restaurants. [00:03:09] I view going to restaurants as a privilege and people go out to restaurants typically when they're trying to enjoy themselves in some capacity and when you have There's a lot of misbehaved children or screaming children. [00:03:21] There's a lot of misbehaved children and a lot of screaming children. [00:03:23] And I would imagine that Matt Walsh's kids are not misbehaving, right? [00:03:27] But I do want to point to the fact that this woman in that video says, how old are you, 22? [00:03:33] You know, get your baby out of the bar. [00:03:34] Maybe what actually happened was, and yes, you are correct that it's not a rule that you should have baby out of bar. [00:03:40] But I just want to point out to you, Matt Walsh, that you are famous. [00:03:42] You are famous for saying that just because you can doesn't mean you should. [00:03:47] So I'm throwing that right back in your face, Matt Walsh. [00:03:50] Just because you can doesn't mean you should. [00:03:51] Yes, you can bring a baby to a bar, but you probably shouldn't. [00:03:55] And I'm going to say you definitely shouldn't. [00:03:56] Because if I'm so radical that I won't even bring a baby to a restaurant, you can imagine where I'm at. [00:04:02] Bring him to a bar and it does look like this woman is standing [00:04:05] So I don't think that his example of sitting at a sports bar with his kids with menus applies here [00:04:10] Like maybe she just got up to pay her bill But I'm gonna guess that there's more of the story that we're [00:04:14] missing and maybe this was just some 27 year old woman that wanted [00:04:18] to go to the bar and brought her a baby with her which I Disagree with I just don't think that you should do that [00:04:25] not because it would bother people But because I don't think that that's an appropriate place [00:04:29] for a baby full stop Especially the baby crying baby's probably crying because [00:04:32] there is way too much noise at a bar And it's that baby that cry is an infant cry. I know [00:04:39] Because I hear it. [00:04:40] I've just been having children for three years, and I can recognize the age of that child just by listening, and that baby is about five months. [00:04:48] So, Matt, hate to throw your own words in your face. [00:04:51] I don't want this beef in the streets, but there's now beef in the streets.
