Candace Owens - Shia LaBeof Converts to Catholicism Aired: 2024-01-12 Duration: 03:18 === From Void to Deacon (03:18) === [00:00:00] I promise you would always button the show with a good news story. [00:00:04] Shia LaBeouf. Remember him, of course. [00:00:06] He's a wonderful actor. [00:00:08] He always has been a wonderful actor. [00:00:09] But he has also been known as a very troubled actor. [00:00:13] Obviously, someone who was deep into drug addiction, also likely drinking as well. [00:00:19] And we have seen him radical. [00:00:22] You know, he was radically anti-Trump in a way that let you know that something was very wrong with Shia LaBeouf [00:00:27] And then something happened to him Shia LaBeouf was cast to play Padre Pio in the movie [00:00:34] also entitled Padre Pio and While playing this part he had a radical [00:00:41] internal conversion he became somebody different somebody that was ready to account for his sins [00:00:48] He's become remarkably more private and has said that he will owe for the rest of his life for the sins that he has committed. [00:00:55] Well, recently he announced that he is entering the Catholic Church. [00:01:00] Yes, Shia LaBeouf has been baptized. [00:01:02] And here is him sitting down with the man who baptized him, Bishop Barron, for a discussion regarding the plausibility of him becoming a deacon. [00:01:12] You and the deacon show up for this deacon's meeting. [00:01:14] That's the first time I met you. The deacons are all hanging out at the church. [00:01:18] I feel like, wow, it's amazing. [00:01:21] I get to sit in here. I feel like I'm not allowed to be there, but then all the deacons are being really warm with me. [00:01:30] It was mass first, right? [00:01:32] It's mass. We do mass, and then we have a little sandwich. [00:01:36] You do this talk about prayer and how... [00:01:40] It's really a simple four-step process, prayer. [00:01:44] And I needed somebody to simplify it for me. [00:01:47] Because it felt like, one, I needed to be defined. [00:01:50] I didn't want it to be this esoteric... [00:01:52] I needed something very defined and very practical. [00:01:56] I needed something very, like, boots on the ground. [00:01:58] And you said, quiet leads to loving thoughts. [00:02:01] Loving thoughts leads to loving action. [00:02:04] Loving action leads to peace. [00:02:06] And that hit me heavy. [00:02:08] Mother Teresa I was quoting there. [00:02:10] Whoever it was, it's changed my life. [00:02:13] So that's the new Shia LaBeouf. [00:02:15] Very different from the old Shia LaBeouf. [00:02:16] And this is what happens when you find God. [00:02:20] He has now found direction in his life. [00:02:22] A life that became directionless because he became what most people become when they become obsessed with Hollywood. [00:02:28] He became a radical leftist searching for a spiritualism and turning to all the wrong ones because there, as I have said in the past, is no such thing as an atheist. [00:02:37] If you have a void, a spiritual void, you will fill it with something. [00:02:41] And that something can be something It can become the climate agenda, right? [00:02:47] It can become any of these leftist apocalypse horsemen. [00:02:52] The environmentalism, you're going to fill it with that. [00:02:54] Can you radically care about that? [00:02:55] Feminism. I hate men. [00:02:57] Transgenderism. Tons of isms that people will suddenly turn to to fill a spiritual void. [00:03:03] And now Shia LaBeouf no longer has a spiritual void. [00:03:05] Obviously, they're discussing the possibility of him becoming a deacon. [00:03:09] From a lost actor to a deacon. [00:03:12] What an incredible journey, and it's one to watch. [00:03:15] You should go pursue that conversation that he had with Bishop Barron.
