[00:00:00]  Women are not all awful. I just say that sometimes to be funny.
[00:00:03]  Women on the internet tend to be pretty bad, but there are also some people that you look at them and you go, how do you exist?
[00:00:09]  How are you this wonderful?
[00:00:10]  And this story on a Monday is going to give you the chills.
[00:00:13]  You may have seen it in the media, but I just want to make sure that every single person hears about it.
[00:00:19]  There is a woman from Kentucky.
[00:00:23]  Her name is Cindy Mullins, Lucinda Mullins.
[00:00:25]  And she went in to the hospital because she had a kidney stone that needed to be operated on.
[00:00:30]  The kidney stone had become infected.
[00:00:32]  But while she was under an anesthetic, it turns out that they realized that things had gone septic.
[00:00:38]  Obviously, this is a very serious bacteria that can spread throughout your body and kill you very quickly.
[00:00:42]  So while she was under, they had to remove all of her limbs.
[00:00:46]  She became a quadruple amputee.
[00:00:49]  She woke up and she learned of this.
[00:00:52]  I want you to imagine this woman that has lived her life with no handicaps.
[00:00:56]  She is a married mother raising two sons and she woke up in a hospital to find out that she had no limbs.
[00:01:01]  What was her reaction?
[00:01:04]  Gratefulness to be alive.
[00:01:06]  Can I tell you that this story brought tears to my eyes?
[00:01:08]  It really did. I showed my husband this and I said, I can't even believe this, that she has been nothing but happy and gracious to be alive.
[00:01:16]  She's been sharing pictures, talking about how she's just happy that she gets to see her husband and gets to still be a mother and to see her children.
[00:01:24]  To imagine a person that can go through something this unexpectedly and This drastic, something that can just completely alter your life and to have nothing but graciousness.
[00:01:37]  We should all aspire to be this person.
[00:01:38]  We should all aspire to be these sorts of people in the world.
[00:01:44]  Just to give you guys a sense of her gratitude, here is a clip of her speaking to a local news agency about what she has endured.
[00:01:53]  This is what they had to do to save your life.
[00:01:55]  This is what's happened.
[00:01:57]  I just said, these are the cards that I've been dealt.
[00:01:59]  This is the hand that I'm going to play.
[00:02:01]  In your mind, if it's this or dying, I choose this.
[00:02:06]  I'm so happy to be alive that that's okay.
[00:02:09]  I get to see my kids.
[00:02:10]  I get to see my family.
[00:02:13]  So those are minor things at this point.
[00:02:16]  This is just a remarkable story.
[00:02:19]  And the first thing that my husband said when I told him about her is she must be a Christian.
[00:02:23]  And she is a Christian.
[00:02:24]  And I feel that that Christian perspective, just what it means when you have a faith in something that is bigger than yourself is what we are seeing here.
[00:02:35]  I want to make sure that we support her in any and every capacity.
[00:02:39]  I will be donating $1,000 to her.
[00:02:41]  There is a GoFundMe that has been set up.
[00:02:43]  Obviously, when she gets home, her entire house is going to have to change to ensure that it is wheelchair accessible.
[00:02:50]  Her entire life is going to change, obviously.
[00:02:52]  She is going to be in physical therapy for a very long time, and I am asking all of my listeners, take the time today.
[00:02:57]  I know that we are all living through very tough times.
[00:03:00]  Even if you can just give 50 cent or to give a dollar, this is just a woman that absolutely deserves it, a family that deserves it, her graciousness, her gratitude.
[00:03:10]  I don't know. I'm amazed by her in every single capacity.

[00:03:21]  Truly, obviously, clearly God already has because to have that sort of perspective in life is something that we all should share.
