Candace Owens - Victoria's Secret Is Bringing Sexy Back Aired: 2023-10-20 Duration: 02:21 === Why Victoria's Secret Failed (02:21) === [00:00:00] You know what was really a true crime, Victoria's Secret? [00:00:03] Ditching its hot girls because they wanted a new feminist makeover. [00:00:06] It was a crime against humanity, and it's something that we should talk about. [00:00:09] The lingerie brand, which was obviously notorious for having really beautiful women, something that seemed so unattainable. [00:00:16] Like, we're just never going to look like that in swimsuits. [00:00:17] And it made us want to buy the swimsuits. [00:00:19] It made us want to buy the lingerie. [00:00:21] Well, they decided when everything had to become ugly in America, when being hot and being pretty and being normal was considered something immoral, that they were going to feminize everything. [00:00:33] Everything feminist touch becomes ugly. [00:00:36] So they started scrapping the hot girls on the catwalks known as the angels, and they instead gave us plus-sized and transgendered models so much more relatable. [00:00:46] And guess what happened, guys? [00:00:49] Their sales plummeted. [00:00:50] It turned out that nobody wanted to watch a bunch of clinically obese people try to fit into swimsuits. [00:00:57] Nobody was applauding, going, this is so brave. [00:00:59] It just was like, okay, fine, you can do it, but we're not going to watch and we're not going to buy it. [00:01:03] And that's what happened. Their sales have plunged. [00:01:06] So they made an announcement that they are returning to Hot Girls because that's what makes sense. [00:01:11] Marketing is about, is trying to make your product look its best. [00:01:14] It's supposed to look unattainable. [00:01:15] It's supposed to make people want it. [00:01:17] It's supposed to be inspiring in that way. [00:01:20] When you see someone like Brad Pitt in Troy, you go, who carved this man? [00:01:24] This is aspirational. Whatever he's selling, I'm buying. [00:01:28] And then it works the same way. [00:01:30] When you look at these models, when you see Giselle Bungeon coming down, you go, whatever she's selling, I am buying. [00:01:34] They've understood this. [00:01:36] Guys, I can't express this enough. [00:01:38] It doesn't matter how much you try to use sociology to transform people's brains and [00:01:44] to brainwash them. [00:01:46] People are always going to like beautiful women, just like they're always going to like [00:01:50] good food. [00:01:51] You know, it's totally fine. [00:01:54] People have taste. [00:01:55] And there's no amount of brainwash that can happen that's going to make people that are [00:01:59] not desirable suddenly desirable. [00:02:01] So I'm glad that Victoria's Secret learned that lesson, albeit the hard way. [00:02:07] But I look forward to seeing the hot girls replaced. [00:02:12] The hot girls replacing, rather, the unattractive girls. [00:02:15] And I'm looking forward to watching The Victoria's Secret Show once again. [00:02:19] If you like this video, you are definitely going to like the full episode even better.
