The Charlie Kirk Show - The Left's Latest Lie About ICE Aired: 2026-01-22 Duration: 40:23 === Arrests and Pay Docked (09:17) === [00:00:03] My name is Charlie Kirk. [00:00:05] I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic. [00:00:11] My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth. [00:00:14] If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable. [00:00:19] But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful. [00:00:24] College is a scam, everybody. [00:00:26] You got to stop sending your kids to college. [00:00:27] You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible. [00:00:31] Go start a Turning Point USA College chapter. [00:00:33] Go start a Turning Point USA High School chapter. [00:00:35] Go find out how your church can get involved. [00:00:37] Sign up and become an activist. [00:00:39] I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade. [00:00:41] Most important decision I ever made in my life. [00:00:43] And I encourage you to do the same. [00:00:45] Here I am. [00:00:46] Lord Museman. [00:00:48] Buckle up, everybody. [00:00:49] Here we go. [00:00:56] The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers. [00:01:09] All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show. [00:01:11] It's January 22nd. [00:01:12] It's great to be back in the studio with all of you here in Phoenix, Arizona, while the rest of the country is about to be plunged into the depths of a historic ice storm. [00:01:21] Negative 45 degrees is what it's going to feel like in Minneapolis, St. Paul. [00:01:25] Negative 45. [00:01:28] I'm hearing the protests are fizzling. [00:01:30] They hate ice, but they're about to get plunged by ice. [00:01:34] Can you fizzle at 45 degrees below this? [00:01:36] I don't know what you can do. [00:01:36] All I know is that you can actually get frostbite. [00:01:41] If your skin is exposed to negative 45-degree weather for 10 minutes, you can get frostbite. [00:01:46] So I hope that the Kamikaze Karens and the beta males try and go out and protest ICE this weekend. [00:01:55] I just want to see them try. [00:01:56] But that is an interesting little, I keep telling you, the weather is our friend in Minneapolis this time of year. [00:02:03] So it is. [00:02:05] By the way, it's like going to, everybody's talking about it. [00:02:07] I went down this deep rabbit hole last night looking at these weather models and it's predicted. [00:02:12] I mean, the whole country, you should studio, get some weather models of like this plunging cold that's going down. [00:02:18] I mean, they're going to get snow all over. [00:02:19] Texas, it's basically like Arizona, Southern California, and Florida are going to be a little bit immune. [00:02:25] Nice. [00:02:26] But even here, it's going to be a little colder. [00:02:27] But this is a good time to be in Arizona. [00:02:30] So maybe you guys should consider a plane ticket. [00:02:34] Get yourself over here before it's too late, honestly. [00:02:38] So a bunch of our team is going to be traveling and they're all kind of trying to navigate through the weather. [00:02:42] Lots of stuff going on right now. [00:02:45] But this morning we were hit by two main news stories. [00:02:49] Well, actually, I could say three. [00:02:51] There is arrests happening in Minneapolis. [00:02:57] Obviously, they stormed a church on Sunday. [00:03:01] Don Lamon, Don Lemon, was there as a part of this. [00:03:04] A lot of uproar. [00:03:05] I was pretty upset about it. [00:03:06] We were pretty worked up about it. [00:03:08] Pretty disgusting stuff, honestly. [00:03:10] And now there are arrests happening. [00:03:12] We have Nakima Levy Armstrong, who is now been arrested. [00:03:19] She was the instigator of this protest, if you want to call it a protest. [00:03:24] Pretty disgusting. [00:03:24] Face act violations incoming. [00:03:26] They're also charging her, which is an ironic. [00:03:28] If you look at that image, Blake, they're charging her on the KKK Act, potentially. [00:03:33] And so that I'll just let the irony speak for itself here in that image. [00:03:39] And then there was a second arrest that's been announced already. [00:03:42] St. Paul school board member Chantil Allen. [00:03:46] And she's in federal custody. [00:03:48] I'm told more arrests are incoming. [00:03:53] We heard, by the way, that Pam Bondi was going to be in Minneapolis. [00:03:57] Then there was a day of silence. [00:03:58] didn't hear anything, then boom, this morning we get two arrests. [00:04:02] I think this is important because accountability matters. [00:04:05] There are arrests happening all over with protesters that are not nationally known figures. [00:04:10] The stories didn't go nationally viral. [00:04:11] There's dozens and dozens of arrests happening every day. [00:04:14] I want to be clear about that. [00:04:16] But when you have something this high profile, this viral, you know, occur in Minneapolis, it involves Christians. [00:04:23] It involves a church. [00:04:23] You see crying kids, total bad optics for the demed, for the libs. [00:04:28] It's important that there is an accountability measure. [00:04:31] There's a full circle moment that. [00:04:32] And I'll be frank, I'm glad I was a little worried that the first person they would try to arrest would be Don Lemon, Donald Mon, because it's the most high-profile one. [00:04:42] It got the most attention on TV. [00:04:45] Do you think he should be arrested? [00:04:46] Honestly, I think his behavior was very bad, but and he does definitely support the protests, but he's also, he's not the one. [00:04:56] He's not screaming in there. [00:04:57] He is just sort of following in the background. [00:05:00] And I think you'd have to want to be clear. [00:05:02] Did someone tell him to leave? [00:05:03] Did someone make it clear he also wasn't welcome there? [00:05:06] I'd have to know more facts about it specifically. [00:05:09] But you want to be careful that you aren't just grabbing the most famous thing, the most emotional thing. [00:05:13] I'm glad that they bothered to arrest the actual ringleaders first. [00:05:17] No, you're right. [00:05:18] It's legally more sound. [00:05:19] Go for the more legally sound stuff because it's so easy to seize on what is emotionally cathartic. [00:05:26] But what you want is the end result that's really strong. [00:05:28] And we want to have a case that you can get a conviction on, or at least a very credible case that can show that there is a cost to doing this. [00:05:38] And you want that degree of. [00:05:40] Well, I actually agree with this. [00:05:41] And some of you in the audience, I'd love to hear your thoughts because I have a feeling you're going to disagree with me on this. [00:05:46] And I'm sort of, I'm sympathetic to what Blake is saying because what you don't want to do is you don't want to create martyrs. [00:05:51] So email us freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:05:54] It kind of reminds me of the Senator Kelly thing. [00:05:57] You got to understand. [00:05:58] So Senator Kelly did an obscene thing. [00:06:00] He told troops to basically disobey orders. [00:06:02] Now he called them unlawful orders, but who the heck is to define what an unlawful order is? [00:06:06] He knew darn well that he was saying disobey direct orders. [00:06:11] He's getting an administrative punishment. [00:06:13] So he's going to get probably demoted. [00:06:15] His pay is going to be docked. [00:06:16] It's dishonorable. [00:06:17] If you are in the military, you know that that's a dishonorable thing to happen. [00:06:20] That's a very insulting, embarrassing thing to happen. [00:06:23] But when you're a sitting senator, you got to also consider that Senator Kelly is probably, he says he has not ruled out running for president, which means he's strongly considering it. [00:06:34] And so if you come after him with the full weight and force of the federal government, guess what's what's going to happen? [00:06:38] He's become a folk hero. [00:06:40] He's going to become a martyr. [00:06:41] He's going to use that in every single ad running for president. [00:06:44] And he's an awful senator. [00:06:45] He's a terrible guy. [00:06:46] There's an opile a mile long about this guy in the state of Arizona. [00:06:50] So, okay. [00:06:52] Now, here's what I will say. [00:06:53] Don Lemon probably deserves to get prosecuted. [00:06:56] He was seen kissing this woman that was just arrested before they protested the church. [00:07:02] And then he's not illegal to do this. [00:07:03] Then he said, no, but he's claiming he was an independent investigator, which or a journalist. [00:07:08] That's garbage. [00:07:09] He's kissing her. [00:07:10] Then he says on video, we have this. [00:07:14] Thank you for your service. [00:07:15] And it is no mystery that he was very in favor of what was going on with this moment at the church. [00:07:22] He said, you got to make, you got to traumatize people sometimes. [00:07:24] You got to make them uncomfortable. [00:07:25] That's what protesting is. [00:07:27] And then he goes in with AJ Attorney General Keith Ellison and he says, you know, that's the essence of the First Amendment. [00:07:33] No, Don Lemon, you're an idiot. [00:07:35] You're not a smart person. [00:07:36] You're a washed-up has been who's fighting for relevancy. [00:07:39] We know exactly what your game is. [00:07:41] You got ran out of CNN. [00:07:43] You backstabbed, stabbed your friend Chris Cuomo, by the way, which is a real peach of a move. [00:07:48] And then you're out there acting like an idiot. [00:07:50] And you probably do deserve to get punished legally. [00:07:54] You chased a guy around the property trying to press him with fake questions. [00:07:57] You knew it was an operation. [00:07:59] And, you know, the point is, though, listen, I'm in favor. [00:08:02] Maybe give him a slap on the wrist. [00:08:04] But if he does this crap again, the craziest part is Don Lemon kissing a woman. [00:08:10] I mean, listen, that's how you know he was really passionate about it. [00:08:14] You know, and everybody wants me to bring up the fact he's married to a white guy. [00:08:17] I got it. [00:08:17] Okay, whatever. [00:08:18] Who cares? [00:08:18] Who cares? [00:08:19] Well, I mean, he's not married because you can't get well. [00:08:22] But sexual. [00:08:23] It's not real. [00:08:23] It's not real. [00:08:24] But anyway. [00:08:25] But we digress. [00:08:26] We digress. [00:08:27] But the point is, I actually think don't make Don Lemon a martyr. [00:08:31] He's not worth it. [00:08:32] He's not worth our time. [00:08:34] Okay. [00:08:34] If he does it again, if he keeps doing this stuff, sure, fine. [00:08:37] Throw the book at him. [00:08:38] But right now, let's move on. [00:08:39] We got bigger fish to fry here, folks. [00:08:41] Then the other story that's happening right now is we've got Jack Smith testifying before Congress. [00:08:49] Jim Jordan, by the way, I know there's some people that feel this way or that about Congressman Jim Jordan. [00:08:55] I think he's great. [00:08:56] You know, there's, yeah, fine. [00:08:59] Send us your emails, freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:09:01] He gave an amazing five-minute cross-examination of Jack Smith on the failed Cassidy Hutchinson, the disgraced, the discredited testimony that she gave that President Trump was lunging across, you know, in the beast, in the back of the beast. [00:09:18] It was a cartoon image. === Supporting Faith With Patriot Mobile (02:19) === [00:09:20] It really is. [00:09:21] It's something that a person on Blue Sky wants to believe happened. [00:09:25] They want a cartoon. [00:09:26] It's a liberal thing. [00:09:27] Anyone who has watched President Trump do anything knows he would never lunged into very deliberate in his movements. [00:09:34] And this is what was great. [00:09:36] Despite this being discredited, the unselect J6 committee mentioned Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony over 120 times because they're a bunch of frauds. [00:09:47] Think about it. [00:09:49] Every single dollar you spend is either supporting your values or working against them. [00:11:13] It's like family business. [00:11:14] We just got to get through this morass of like crazy lib slop that they're just making stuff up. [00:11:20] And I'm getting sick of it, to be honest, because the lies are so blatant and brazen that you just have to sort of work through them. [00:11:25] And yes, welcome back to the Bitcoin.com studio, our friends over at Bitcoin.com, your place to buy, sell, trade Bitcoin. [00:11:31] You can do all your research right there, Bitcoin.com. [00:11:34] Glad to have them back on and excited about that. [00:11:37] And so, but here's what we got to do. === The Illegal Immigrant Child Debate (07:38) === [00:11:39] We got to get to this five-year-old, you know, the Democrats, literally the Democrats, their handle on X is tweeting out in Minnesota, Minneapolis. [00:11:48] ICE arrested a five-year-old coming home from preschool and tried to use him as human bait. [00:11:54] His teacher describes him as a bright young student. [00:11:56] These monsters are sick. [00:11:59] Okay, we'll throw up the image. [00:12:00] And this is literally their tweet. [00:12:02] I don't know. [00:12:03] Do you guys have the image? [00:12:04] It's too good. [00:12:05] We have to, I mean, this is, you know, you got to sort of give them credit for just being shameless liars. [00:12:10] So this is the image. [00:12:13] And they've got, yeah, ICE detains five-year-old boy, three other students in Columbia Heights. [00:12:18] It's not true. [00:12:19] It's not what happened. [00:12:21] So we should lay out like what. [00:12:23] I'm going to read the statement. [00:12:24] We're going to read the statement. [00:12:25] So I literally called DHS this morning because it turns out everybody's freaking out about this. [00:12:31] This is all lib Twitter is talking about. [00:12:34] This is all what Blue Sky's talking about. [00:12:36] This is a huge story, right, Blake? [00:12:37] This is like this is their thing. [00:12:40] This is their cause du jour. [00:12:42] All right, well, please lay it out. [00:12:44] Well, so they're flipping out. [00:12:46] This is all, so partly we should mention this is all happening because ICE, everything they do, they're relentlessly being stalked and followed and scrutinized. [00:12:56] And so they are immediately spinning up these claims. [00:12:59] And so their claim is that the child, they made an arrest when a person drove into their driveway. [00:13:09] And you can see the little joints where they're being a little bit dishonest. [00:13:13] So for example, so they detained, apparently what happened is they tried to arrest the father of this five-year-old who then fled the scene. [00:13:19] And then they'll describe in even in the left's own telling, another adult begged to take custody of the child, but ICE refused. [00:13:28] Okay, another adult? [00:13:30] Is it the child's parent? [00:13:31] Would we know if it's the child's parent? [00:13:34] Like, all these things that are obvious questions you're supposed to ask if you're a law enforcement agent, but they're mad that ICE is not omniscient and omnipotent in their powers. [00:13:43] And so they have to follow police procedures. [00:13:45] Oh, there was a child in the vehicle. [00:13:47] And so we naturally immediately have ICE put out the statement, which is the child was abandoned. [00:13:53] We tried to make an arrest, and then the dad fled. [00:13:56] So they left one agent with the child to make sure that this child was not alone. [00:14:01] And then they turned this into the, this child was beat. [00:14:04] Well, it wasn't a bait for the arrest because the arrest they were making was a person in the car who then fled. [00:14:09] And those are the only two people who've been detained. [00:14:11] So I guess it wasn't bait. [00:14:12] I have a legal question for you, Blake. [00:14:14] I know you're not a lawyer, but you play one on TV. [00:14:16] The question, if a dad, say it's a single dad, he has a DUI and the cops pull him over. [00:14:25] Does that father get separated from the child? [00:14:28] You know, it actually does happen, doesn't it? [00:14:30] Or doesn't even need to be a DUI. [00:14:32] If they want you for a murder, if they want you for a robbery, if they want you for tax evasion. [00:14:37] Larceny. [00:14:38] Whatever. [00:14:39] This is a sad truth. [00:14:40] If you break the law, you are putting your children in danger and you should stop breaking the law. [00:14:46] It's pretty obvious in today's day and age that if you are here in the country illegally, you're breaking the law and there will be consequences for it. [00:14:54] Did you know that you could receive a free flight? [00:14:58] No, a free flight and $2,600 with the CBP home app. [00:15:04] If you just use the CBP home app, he wouldn't have been arrested. [00:15:08] His poor five-year-old kid, he wouldn't have abandoned him. [00:15:12] By the way, that's the big E on the eye chart here. [00:15:14] This peach of a father is the best father I've seen since, you know, Maryland dad. [00:15:21] This is not the type of, if you have an illegal alien that is going, is willing to abandon his son when federal law enforcement approaches him, first of all, he's a terrible dad. [00:15:33] Let's just get the biggie on the eye chart out of the way. [00:15:36] Terrible dad. [00:15:37] You don't abandon your kid. [00:15:39] Second of all, you're not going to want that quality of human being in this country as a second thought. [00:15:44] If that's what he's teaching his kid, that you just abandon people, you run away from your family. [00:15:48] And third of all, if you're in the country illegally, I'm sorry, you're putting your whole family in jeopardy. [00:15:54] So, yes, to your point, this DHS, I don't know if it was ICE or, yeah, I think it was an ICE officer, remained with the child because that's what police officers do. [00:16:02] They don't abandon children. [00:16:04] That's what federal law enforcement does. [00:16:06] Like, it's just, it's such an important thing that you can't concede the ground to them. [00:16:09] Like, the left wants you, they want to get you into this psychological state of mind where if like you have a child under the age of 10, you're immune from law enforcement because this child is sad and you feel sad when you see children. [00:16:22] And so, you shouldn't do things that you obviously should do. [00:16:25] Yeah, Charlie had a great tweet on this. [00:16:27] This is all the way back in 2018. [00:16:29] Instead of blaming the law enforcement agencies, ICE or Border Patrol, why not blame the parents for actually breaking the law? [00:16:35] Thinking face. [00:16:36] And he's exactly right. [00:16:37] One of the reasons you shouldn't do bad things, one of the reasons you shouldn't commit crimes, one of the reasons you shouldn't be a drug addict, one of the reasons you shouldn't be a loser, if you're a parent, or even if you're not, it will hurt the people around you who are dependent on you. [00:16:51] That is a reason you shouldn't do bad things. [00:16:54] And this dad chose to break the law. [00:16:57] He chose to remain here when it was very clear enforcement was happening, when there was a way he could have gotten free money to return to his home country. [00:17:06] For that matter, he would have never been separated from his kid if he had not fled from ICE. [00:17:10] He did all of those things. [00:17:12] And as a result, it wasn't great for his kid. [00:17:14] The same way it wouldn't be great for his kid if he did any other crime. [00:17:18] And we can't concede this completely fake framing to them that if there's kids, oh, they're magically immune from the law. [00:17:24] One of the best lines, MPR News, a local Minnesota news thing, they covered this. [00:17:29] And of course, they don't really get much more than a side statement from ICE. [00:17:33] It's entirely the framing of, oh, the schools are horrified. [00:17:37] And then they talk to their lawyer, this Mark Prokash, a lawyer representing the Ramos family. [00:17:42] He said he's not sure of the exact whereabouts, but they're probably in Texas. [00:17:46] And they have him go on. [00:17:47] He says it's cruelty. [00:17:49] It's evil. [00:17:50] It's all so bad. [00:17:51] And then at the end of the interview with him, they say, asked if the five-year-old's detainment was legal. [00:17:56] Prokash said, probably not. [00:17:58] That's what's going to make my job really difficult. [00:18:00] But just because something is legal doesn't mean it's moral. [00:18:03] Oh, so they didn't break the law at all. [00:18:05] It's entirely legal to detain children when you're arresting their parents for illegally being in the country. [00:18:10] And in fact, if you're going to deport them, as ICE has pointed out, they're going to get two options. [00:18:15] If that child is a citizen, they can be placed with someone that they trust, a trusted adult, or you can choose to have them deported with you if you would prefer to remain with them. [00:18:24] They get a choice. [00:18:24] And you have to understand the subtext here, is they are going to claim that what they're really communicating here, and I want you to see the sleight of hand, is that they're basically saying that this guy was illegal, but he's not a criminal. [00:18:36] No, you're guilty of being a criminal if you broke. [00:18:39] It's called breaking and entering. [00:18:40] You broke and entered into our country, and you're not welcome, okay? [00:18:43] So we have to keep the main thing, the main thing. [00:18:46] There is a baseline. [00:18:47] You're a criminal if you enter this country illegally, okay? [00:18:50] But even in Exodus 1249, this is all biblical, folks. [00:18:54] It says a sojourner, so a foreigner, is to abide the law of the land. [00:18:59] The same law applies to both the native born and the foreigner residing among you. [00:19:03] There's biblical precedents for this. [00:19:05] They are required to abide by the law of the land. [00:19:08] And so we just need to get back to basics. [00:19:10] I'm sorry this five-year-old got banned by his father. [00:19:13] Blame the father for that, not ICE. === Biblical Precedents for Deportation (17:38) === [00:19:18] Hey guys, if you've been a faithful Kirk podcast listener for any amount of time, then you've probably already heard about Strong Cell. [00:20:35] This will be your second time we've had you in recent times. [00:20:40] But I didn't even tell the studio to play your song. [00:20:43] Yeah, I always get a little bit more fired up when I hear that coming in. [00:20:48] It's funny, the origin of that, they started playing that, as you know, during a Cooors commercial for the NFL. [00:20:54] And you noticed it, Charlie noticed it, and I noticed it all just like, I was like, that sounds like Kane. [00:21:04] But it's King, right? [00:21:05] It's Kane. [00:21:06] It's definitely Kane, though. [00:21:07] It's close enough for radio. [00:21:08] Yeah, it's close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades, right? [00:21:11] And government work. [00:21:13] I think that's the other thing they say. [00:21:14] So, Kane, welcome back, my friend. [00:21:18] You know, we like to talk to you because, you know, if you're not checking out citizenfreepress.com, you're missing out. [00:21:25] Throw up the graphic there, guys. [00:21:26] I mean, this is the current stack. [00:21:29] We sent it in. [00:21:32] This is what Kane lives and breathes 24-7. [00:21:36] The guy doesn't sleep. [00:21:38] And even if he's not working on the stack, he is golfing, which I totally give you all the... [00:21:45] Charlie didn't like golf. [00:21:47] I don't like golf either. [00:21:48] Blake doesn't like golf. [00:21:49] I disagree. [00:21:50] I think you need to go touch grass. [00:21:52] And one of the great ways to touch grass, be surrounded by it. [00:21:54] Kind of the only way to touch grass here is go play some golf. [00:21:58] But Kane, I would be remiss if I did not say, congratulations to the Indiana Hoosiers for pulling off one of the truly all-time great college football stories. [00:22:10] It's miraculous. [00:22:12] It's insane. [00:22:13] It's unprecedented. [00:22:14] I give you the floor. [00:22:16] Bask in the glory of being national champions. [00:22:18] You know, you know, Blake rumor has it. [00:22:20] There was more drinking in Bloomington this week than during winter carnival in Hanover, New Hampshire. [00:22:29] I don't believe that. [00:22:30] I refuse to believe that. [00:22:31] There are a bunch of alkies up in Hanover. [00:22:34] But yeah, I was a little annoyed, Kane, I have to admit, because I didn't have a strong pull between the two teams, but I was slightly hoping that Miami would get a last-second touchdown, just so I could have said if Indiana had redistricted, they would have stopped that touchdown. [00:22:50] But they went and won anyway. [00:22:52] So I'll give it to him. [00:22:54] It's true. [00:22:54] Indiana is sort of on my list right now because, and frankly, they're on turning point actions. [00:22:59] We're going to be primaring all of these fools because they apparently rumor has it. [00:23:04] I'm not sure if it's been completely confirmed, but that they made a handshake deal with Maryland to not redistrict. [00:23:10] Maryland, of course, did an about face. [00:23:12] Now they're redistricting. [00:23:13] Virginia's gone complete Marxist. [00:23:15] They're redistricting. [00:23:17] So it looks like, once again, Kane, Republicans are the only ones trying to play by gentlemen's rules and we're getting steamrolled. [00:23:24] And, you know, there was this whole redistricting debate going on. [00:23:27] Everybody's, oh, Trump is trying to redistrict midterm. [00:23:29] It turns out the Democrats are the only ones with enough political will and ruthlessness to actually move forward with it. [00:23:36] What's your take? [00:23:38] Well, yeah, I was going to, before you said it, I was going to mention the Maryland thing because I just put it in the stack like 30 minutes ago. [00:23:44] Wesmore, the governor, is trying to get rid of the only Republican seat that in the in the Maryland congressional delegation. [00:23:54] I'm trying to, I think Maryland usually is about 60-40 in governors races. [00:24:00] So, I mean, if you're getting 40% Republican votes, it would be nice to have at least one Republican seat. [00:24:07] Yes, you know, that's brutal. [00:24:09] Going back to the game, that final drive, Blake, you know, that if Miami had scored, I completely thought they were. [00:24:16] I actually thought Signetti made a mistake in kicking that field goal because if you get a Miami was out of timeouts, you get a first down, that game's over. [00:24:25] There was a minute have to go. [00:24:27] And so I thought, you know, I always think negatively, and it has not hurt the Hoosiers at any point in the college football playoffs, but I thought for sure we were going to give up a touchdown. [00:24:38] So, so yeah, that would be brutal as hell that if that, you know, if we lost because our state representatives didn't have the whatever, they got their feelings hurt. [00:24:49] There were all kinds of reasons that the Indiana reps did not vote to redistrict. [00:24:55] You know, one last thing I'll throw on the redistricting. [00:24:57] I put a story up maybe a month ago that talked about how the five seats in Texas may not even end up being five seats, that it might be four seats because we're getting slightly lower numbers with Hispanics. [00:25:10] So, yeah, so Democrats, there's a track. [00:25:14] I guess one last thing, there's a tracker that I keep, I bring to the top near the stack that sort of shows what's going on in every single state. [00:25:22] And they still say that we may gain three if everything plays out correctly, but you guys are probably on top of it. [00:25:30] Hey, look. [00:25:31] Yeah. [00:25:32] Yeah, no, you're right, Kane. [00:25:33] It's just much closer than it should be. [00:25:35] You know, if we had a real census in this country that didn't count foreign illegals, which Trump tried to get done, he lost that battle. [00:25:43] I think we win that battle if we pick it today. [00:25:45] We should be redoing the 2020 census. [00:25:48] It was a botched census. [00:25:49] It was done properly and correctly. [00:25:51] COVID completely ruined it. [00:25:52] They used all these like privacy, you know, protocols to shield illegals. [00:25:58] And so they would be counted. [00:25:59] And it screwed up the whole algorithm. [00:26:01] Okay. [00:26:02] So if we redid the census, you would see 10 to 15 seats move to the Sunbelt, move to where people are moving. [00:26:08] Okay. [00:26:09] So there's a lot wrong with this. [00:26:11] I do not believe that we have been getting a fair shake in national elections with Congress. [00:26:17] We just haven't. [00:26:18] You know, President Trump had basically a landslide victory, won the popular vote, ran the table on the swing states, and we eke out this tiny little majority in Congress, in the House. [00:26:29] Something ain't right. [00:26:30] And so we've got to fight on this front, and we got to get the SAVE Act done. [00:26:34] But I'm being told there's 15 senators, Republican senators. [00:26:40] We're not even talking about Democrats right now, Ken, right now, Kane. [00:26:42] There's 15 Republican senators that won't get the hell out of the way. [00:26:46] And this is a big problem. [00:26:48] Kane, tell us what you know about this. [00:26:50] Okay, well, we'll talk about the SAVE Act. [00:26:52] That relates to the filibuster. [00:26:54] The other thing, you know, yes, I want to reiterate, or I want to, you know, confirm what you were saying, 10 to 15 seats if we can stop counting illegals in all states. [00:27:05] The numbers, you know, that gives us a much bigger majority right there. [00:27:08] And then also remember that I don't think it's happening until maybe it's happening this summer, but the Voting Rights Act, right? [00:27:16] That's going to be the other component of redistricting. [00:27:18] A lot of these congressional districts, most, well, not just in blue states, but in all states, a lot of them are going to be thrown out. [00:27:26] So they say that may be a plus 19 number, but it's not going to affect the 2026 midterms. [00:27:32] Now on to the SAVE Act. [00:27:33] As you know, to get something like the SAVE Act passed, you have to get it through the Senate. [00:27:37] You've got the filibuster problem in 60 votes, right? [00:27:40] So that was the whole debate during the government shutdown, whether we should finally throw out the filibuster, knowing that Democrats went the next time that they do take the Senate, that they're going to do this, that without whatever Manchin and Kirsten Cinema, they can get that vote through. [00:27:55] So everybody was sort of anticipating that the January shutdown would be our opportunity to get rid of the filibuster. [00:28:04] And what happened this week or last week was they, oh, it was early this week. [00:28:08] They reached a deal on the shutdown. [00:28:10] So there's not going to be a shutdown, which means there will not be a movement to get rid of the filibuster, which means this, I don't know how he gets a save act passed. [00:28:19] You tell me with, you know, over 60 votes. [00:28:22] Well, it doesn't seem like it doesn't seem. [00:28:24] I'm getting, by the way, I'm just getting breaking news here that Don Lemon has been charged. [00:28:29] I'm looking into it. [00:28:31] But he was not the first. [00:28:32] He was not the first. [00:28:34] I think they'll probably have a good case on him. [00:28:36] I mean, he was in it. [00:28:38] He was. [00:28:39] And he was cheering it on. [00:28:40] And he tried to hide behind his journalistic, okay, breaking Trump Justice Department charges journalist Don Lemon along with seven others over church protests aimed at ICE. [00:28:49] Let's see here, ICE agent. [00:28:52] Wow. [00:28:53] There it is. [00:28:54] Even if he's not convicted, guys, even if he's not convicted, the process is the punishment, the legal fees, the worrying at night about, you know, about the charges that you're facing and the potential jail terms. [00:29:06] So even if Lemon doesn't get, doesn't get convicted, whatever. [00:29:13] It's sort of looking, it's like the same thing with James Comey and Letitia James. [00:29:17] Sure, those indictments were thrown out, but hey, at least we put him through some sort of process punishment. [00:29:25] No, I totally agree. [00:29:26] Make him lawyer up, make him defend this. [00:29:28] It was a disgusting thing. [00:29:30] And, you know, a lot of people said it. [00:29:32] I thought it was an original thought when I tweeted it out. [00:29:34] I just said he would never have done this to Muslims. [00:29:38] He would have never gone a million years. [00:29:41] Never. [00:29:42] He took advantage of the kindness of Christians to know that he could do that in a safe way. [00:29:47] They weren't going to turn around and wrestle him to the floor, stab him, shoot him, whatever. [00:29:52] Not even that. [00:29:53] It's just he knew that if he did it to Muslims, he would get ripped to shreds for it. [00:29:58] If you had a big mob of people go in to intimidate a group of Muslims about something, a group of Jews in a synagogue about something, there would be consequences for it. [00:30:06] Much more rapid and much more total and with much more support from a Democratic government. [00:30:11] There is an entire permission and support structure in place to attack white men to attack Christians. [00:30:18] And it's important that we tear down that support structure, brick by brick, piece by piece, because what Don Lemon did to that church, city's church in Minneapolis, was disgusting. [00:30:29] And all of those people, there's seven other indictments, apparently, as well. [00:30:34] They all deserve to be charged so that this never happens again. [00:30:38] And if it does happen again, you come down even harder. [00:30:41] And you say, we warned you. [00:30:43] You should have known this happened the last time. [00:30:45] There will be consequences. [00:30:47] You know, Kane, we're kind of darting around here because there's a lot of news going on. [00:30:51] Yeah. [00:30:52] We call this the pulse of the base with Kane. [00:30:55] This is your segment title. [00:30:56] Pulse of the base. [00:30:58] Give us the pulse of the base. [00:30:59] There's a lot of black pillars, a lot of boomers, a lot of negativity, but there's so much good happening. [00:31:06] You know, are they down on Greenland? [00:31:08] Are they down on not enough arrest? [00:31:11] What's the pulse? [00:31:12] I can give you an, you know, look, let's never confuse the pulse of X and the pulse of social media for actually the pulse of the base. [00:31:22] You know, Twitter has more and more become an unreliable indicator. [00:31:27] I put up polls, two polls now, including the new one from the New York Times today. [00:31:32] Trump is doing fine with Republicans. [00:31:35] He had 89% approval in the New York Times poll with Republicans. [00:31:39] Now, we'd like to see that number at 95, but 89 is still really good. [00:31:43] The only area that there might be some danger is with independents, which, you know, we've highlighted. [00:31:48] That's how we won the seven swing states, is we got independent voters. [00:31:51] So, we could talk about that another time. [00:31:53] But as far as the base goes, they're relatively happy with Greenland. [00:31:56] They're a little confused. [00:31:58] You know, I think Trump, maybe early on, a week ago, could have benefited by explaining this to the people a little bit better about why we need, you know, why we need Greenland. [00:32:07] And I think his whole plan the whole time was to get the deal, the framework of a deal that he's talked about now. [00:32:12] I'm not sure. [00:32:13] I mean, I'm sure he would have loved to have the island, but at the same time, this is the deal that he wanted. [00:32:21] So, you know, look, the base hangs on. [00:32:24] The base looks through. [00:32:27] They're able to look past sort of, they don't pay attention to media anymore. [00:32:32] That's the one thing we know. [00:32:33] So, the base, the base is happy. [00:32:36] They're not thrilled with how Trump is being treated and portrayed, but he's not going to lose them. [00:32:40] And the fake civil war, that's, you know, I know I got 10 seconds. [00:32:43] I'll just say the civil war within the Republican Party is fake news. [00:32:48] And these people will turn out. [00:32:52] This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and founding partner of YReFi. [00:32:56] It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us. [00:33:02] His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come. [00:33:08] Now, here Charlie, in his own words, tell you about YReFi. [00:33:12] I'm going to tell you guys about whyrefi.com. [00:33:14] That is why FY.com. [00:33:16] WhyReFi is incredible. [00:33:17] Private student loan debt in America totals about $300 billion. [00:33:20] WhyReFi is refinancing distress or defaulted private student loans? [00:33:24] You can finally take control of your student loan situation with a plan that works for your monthly budget. [00:33:29] Go to whyrefi.com. [00:33:30] That is whyrefi.com. [00:33:31] Do you have a co-borrower? [00:33:33] WhyReFi can get them released from the loan? [00:33:35] You're going to skip a payment up to 12 times without penalty. [00:33:38] It may not be available in all 50 states. [00:33:40] Go to yrefi.com. [00:33:41] That is why FY.com. [00:33:44] Let's face it, if you have distress or defaulted student loans, it can be overwhelming. [00:33:48] Because of private student loan debt, so many people feel stuck. [00:33:51] Go to whyrefi.com. [00:33:53] That is why FY.com. [00:33:56] Private student loan debt relief, yrefi.com. [00:34:01] Kane, the big question right now, obviously, is once we turned over into 2026, is the midterms. [00:34:07] And there is this lingering question. [00:34:08] Now, turning point action, we're going to be working in New Hampshire. [00:34:10] We're going to be working in Arizona, Nevada. [00:34:13] We're going to be working on congressional races that build towards 2028, right? [00:34:17] We have to pick our battles. [00:34:19] Tyler Boyer is going to be on the show talking about some of this. [00:34:21] We're hiring, we're staffing up ahead of the midterms, but we can't do it all. [00:34:26] And there's going to be a lot of races across the country that are going to be very hotly contested. [00:34:30] And President Trump's not going to be on the ballot. [00:34:33] So what do we have to do? [00:34:34] What's the vibe? [00:34:35] What's the energy? [00:34:37] So Trump and Susie Wiles have both said he's going to treat the midterms like a general election. [00:34:42] So that's obviously a really good sign. [00:34:44] He's going to do rallies. [00:34:46] It's still going to be hard. [00:34:47] I looked up 2018, which was his first midterms. [00:34:50] We lost 40 seats in the House. [00:34:54] So what's that number going to be this time? [00:34:56] I don't know. [00:34:57] I honestly don't think we're going to hold the House. [00:35:03] And then what is that going to lead to? [00:35:04] It's going to lead to impeachments in the House. [00:35:07] The Senate is virtually impossible to lose just based on the map. [00:35:13] It would take some big, some huge upsets. [00:35:17] So that's part of why I was talking about the filibuster and getting back to the SAVE Act. [00:35:22] For people who don't know, the SAVE Act is the Voting Reform Act, to require citizenship, to register to vote, to require voter ID nationwide, all these things. [00:35:35] And I think it actually eliminates mail-in ballots, which is an interesting thing because as you know, Andrew and Blake, Charlie sort of picked up that matchup, you guys. [00:35:44] That was one of the keys to success in Arizona and a few other states that we really pushed on the mail-in ballot. [00:35:50] Well, Kane, really quick here, yeah, it would require proof to be presented in person in most cases, which would effectively eliminate or at least severely restrict online voter registration, mail-in voter registration. [00:36:04] So many automatic voter registration systems like Motor Voter, when you get a driver's license, which we know a lot of illegals are doing in these states where they're giving illegals driver's licenses. [00:36:14] Voter registration drives, since you couldn't just fill out a form on the spot without showing documents to an official, right? [00:36:20] So, you know, by the way, turning point action, we did voter registration drives. [00:36:24] We follow the laws of the land. [00:36:25] We use the exact same laws that everybody else does. [00:36:28] But if they're going to restrict this, which is, I think, a good thing, then, you know, it's going to hamper some of these, these, especially the libs, man. [00:36:35] They get way more volunteers for this stuff because remember, they're not going to church. [00:36:38] They're not having families. [00:36:39] This is their church. [00:36:40] This is their church. [00:36:40] Their church is destroying America. [00:36:42] That's their cult. [00:36:44] So, yeah, to your point, please continue. [00:36:46] Well, I was going to say Blake knows all about same-day voter registration in New Hampshire. [00:36:52] No, they made a point of that. [00:36:53] They would do the whole spiel with the students at Dartmouth. === Generic Polls and Voting Laws (03:26) === [00:36:56] They would say, you can change your vote day of. [00:36:59] You don't need to vote in your home state. [00:37:00] They would explicitly say, oh, if you're from a state that's deep blue, most of them were a lot of people from Massachusetts, California, New York, switch your vote here, day of, vote in this race. [00:37:10] And I often thought, I once did the math, and if they'd built that college on the other side of the river in Vermont, we would have won that state in 2016. [00:37:19] We would have won Kelly Ayat's Senate race in 2016. [00:37:22] It makes a difference. [00:37:23] By the way, we may or may not have an upcoming event at your alma mater. [00:37:30] We were going to. [00:37:30] We were going to have that debate. [00:37:32] So that's one of the reasons we're going back. [00:37:34] So we'll just, you watch that space because it's key when we're talking about New Hampshire, which is a state that has more conservatives than, or Republicans than Democrats, but it's always that independent vote in the middle, right? [00:37:47] That's what's going to determine that state. [00:37:49] Yeah. [00:37:50] And to Blake's point, you know, they're always talk about Massachusetts University's busing students across the state line just on election day and doing same-day registration. [00:38:02] So it's a problem. [00:38:03] The thing is, how the heck do we get the SAVE Act passed with the filibuster? [00:38:07] And if you have to get rid of the filibuster, because you know Democrats are going to do it, not this term when they, because they aren't going to get the Senate in 2026, but they will eventually, and they do drop the filibuster. [00:38:19] Well, whatever. [00:38:20] There's just no motivation to get rid of the filibuster now. [00:38:24] And so I don't see how, again, the SAVE Act gets passed. [00:38:27] Another thing on midterms, you know, I always pay attention to the generic congressional stuff. [00:38:31] And in the New York Times poll that I put in the stack today, they've got the generic congressional at 4843, which 4843 Democrats. [00:38:40] And I know that's a negative five number for us, but there was also like the Atlas Intel generic congressional poll from about three weeks ago was 12 points, you know, plus 12 for Democrats. [00:38:53] So this plus five number from New York Times is actually not that bad. [00:38:56] And 4843 is, you know, it's whatever. [00:38:59] It's not insurmountable the way a 12-point is. [00:39:02] So I don't know. [00:39:03] I don't want to be completely pessimistic, but it's going to be a tough sled. [00:39:07] And we're going to need Trump to treat it like the general. [00:39:10] Well, you're absolutely right. [00:39:12] And I would just say if he's getting out there and you got to imagine Elon's going to be activated, everybody's motivated. [00:39:17] We know these guys are just going to bog everything down in investigations and all of this stuff. [00:39:22] I want you to throw up this graphic, though, here, just real quick. [00:39:25] Last thought. [00:39:26] Rasmussen reports is requiring photo ID to vote a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections. [00:39:34] All voters altogether, 73% say yes, which is huge. [00:39:40] So, you know, here's the issue: what I'm told, I've been back-channeling with some senators. [00:39:44] There's these 10 to 15 senators basically think it's constitutionally problematic for the federal government to weigh in on states the way they conduct their elections, right? [00:39:54] But the legal question then is: can they weigh in on federal elections that are conducted by the states? [00:40:00] So that's the key. [00:40:02] So that's the excuse they're throwing up, but it's pathetic. [00:40:05] Citizen Kane, Citizen Free Press, check out the stack. [00:40:08] I go there multiple times every day. [00:40:10] You should too. [00:40:11] God bless you, sir. [00:40:12] We'll talk to you soon. [00:40:13] Thanks to both of you.
