[00:02:57] Brad says, Charlie, did you get to spend any time with Trump after the town hall event yesterday? [00:03:02] Curious if he's in good spirits. [00:03:03] Yes, I actually spent 45 minutes with him before he took the stage. [00:03:08] And he is something else. [00:03:11] He is a his ability to keep having fun despite everything that is happening to him and being thrown at him is remarkable. [00:03:21] And so he did the TikTok thing yesterday, where he said, you know, Biden's TikToks. [00:03:26] And we should play that clip. [00:03:27] That clip hasn't gone as viral as I thought it would. [00:03:30] I tried to get him to do that as a TikTok, a TikTok on TikTok. [00:03:35] And he's like, no, I want to save it for the debate. [00:03:37] And then he just goes up on stage and he was feeling it. [00:03:40] And he did it. [00:03:42] So he did that backstage before, but he's in excellent spirits. [00:03:45] And I do want to play the tape again of the TikTok that I did make with President Trump. [00:03:51] 182, Play Cut 182. [00:03:54] President, we're on TikTok. [00:03:55] What is your message to younger voters right now? [00:03:57] Well, the big message is vote for Trump. [00:03:59] We're going to make our country greater than ever before. [00:04:01] We had something going that was incredible and just horrible what's happened. [00:04:06] This is the worst president in history, Joe Biden. [00:04:09] And you look at it, even as a representative, he goes over to France and something happened that was not good. [00:04:14] I don't know what it is. [00:04:15] But we're going to make our country greater than ever before. [00:04:18] And I appreciate all your support. [00:04:20] Thank you. [00:04:20] And you'll never ban TikTok. [00:04:21] That's for sure. [00:04:22] I will never ban TikTok. [00:04:23] Thank you. [00:04:25] That was a little bit backstage there. [00:04:29] Oh, did we not tweet that video out? [00:04:30] We got to tweet that video out. [00:04:32] Trump and I backstage. [00:04:33] That's a good one. [00:04:34] So this is important. [00:04:36] I've had a chance to spend time with a lot of politicians, dozens of senators, dozens of congressmen. [00:04:44] Trump is very, very unique. [00:04:46] First of all, his commanding presence, he just completely dominates the room. [00:04:51] Secondly, he's incredibly curious. [00:04:54] And this is something that you'll never hear from the critics. [00:04:59] Oh, it's all about him. [00:05:00] He is relentless in how he asks questions. [00:05:03] Relentless. [00:05:04] First thing, how are we doing in Arizona? [00:05:06] How's this trending? [00:05:06] What's the number one issue? [00:05:07] How should I word this? [00:05:08] What about this? [00:05:09] Do you like this? [00:05:10] What's going on here? [00:05:10] How about just drill? [00:05:12] You have to be ready. [00:05:12] It's almost you have to prep yourself because you know that the machine gun of questions are coming through. [00:05:18] Secondly, he is relentlessly positive. [00:05:23] Regardless of what you tell him, he'll turn it into a positive. [00:05:26] And so, you know, I really think that this indictment thing has ended up being a good thing. [00:05:29] And maybe the conviction thing. [00:05:31] I mean, he's not happy about it, but the way he views the world is that he looks at the world as an opportunity to spin the negative towards the positive. [00:05:40] This is Donald Trump doing the Tic-Tac routine. [00:05:44] Is it TikTok or TikTok? [00:05:47] Too many ticks. [00:05:48] PlayCut 140. [00:05:49] I'll tell you what. [00:05:50] It's the single biggest. [00:05:51] I even have that here. [00:05:53] I have something here. [00:05:54] Huh? [00:05:55] Let me see. [00:05:56] Because you asked this question. [00:05:57] I think I'll show it. [00:05:58] Should I show it? [00:05:59] I don't know if you're going to see it. [00:06:01] Look. [00:06:03] TikToks. [00:06:06] This is what inflation does. [00:06:10] This is what inflation does. [00:06:13] This is whatever. [00:06:16] Okay? [00:06:17] Look. [00:06:19] Not good, right? [00:06:20] But that's. [00:06:22] I kid. [00:06:22] But that's. [00:06:23] There really is no kidding. [00:06:24] It's serious. [00:06:25] People can't live. [00:06:26] Donald Trump held up a small little TikTok compared with a TikTok, TikTok, get it all messed up container and contrasted the two. [00:06:39] We have another cut here. [00:06:42] Let's put 196 up on screen here. [00:06:44] So this is the live TikTok follower counter where we see the difference. [00:06:50] So Joe Biden has had a TikTok since February, late January, and he has 365,000 followers. [00:06:58] By the way, the Charlie Kirk show, our TikTok, has 1.6 million followers. [00:07:03] So we have 1.3 million followers more than the president of the United States. [00:07:07] Donald Trump has 5.8 million TikTok followers, 5.8 million, a 5.5 million follower difference. [00:07:20] Yeah, where are those 81 million votes? [00:07:23] It really makes you wonder, those 81 million votes. [00:07:25] Are they all going to come out and show up in big numbers again? [00:07:29] All right, let's get to another question here. [00:07:31] But yes, he's in excellent spirits. [00:07:32] He's as good as I have ever seen him. [00:07:35] He's on top of his game. [00:07:36] He has not lost a step. [00:07:38] Jennifer says, Charlie, I was at Dream City yesterday for the turning point town hall with Donald Trump. [00:07:44] I was so inspired. [00:07:45] Besides signing up to be a precinct committeeman, what else can I do? [00:07:49] So we've been through this. [00:07:50] You have to become a change agent, a force multiplier, and that includes registering new voters. [00:07:57] You have to be a heat-seeking missile to low-propensity voters. [00:08:02] Everybody that's listening, you have in your life low-propensity voters. [00:08:08] People that say, ah, you know, it doesn't really matter, or it's kind of rigged, or I don't need to show up. [00:08:13] You need to find those people and demand they register to vote, and then you need to chase those ballots. [00:08:18] If every single person in the movement does that and does that in the early voting month, our movement will be very, very hard to stop. [00:08:28] Very hard to stop. [00:08:30] You see, the Democrats have spent tens of millions of dollars and have sophisticated and superior machinery. [00:08:42] And that machinery involves full-time ballot chasers on the ground, full-time voter registrators on the ground, full-time community operatives on the ground. [00:08:51] And it's very hard to raise that kind of money. [00:08:54] We're doing our best at Turning Point Action, TPAction.com. [00:08:58] However, if we have a volunteer force that works our tail off, if we have a volunteer army, we can close that gap. [00:09:09] And it starts with every single one of you. [00:09:11] How many voters did you register in the last week? [00:09:14] How many people were you able to find and to get on the voter rolls? [00:09:18] And it requires grittiness. [00:09:20] It's not easy by any means. [00:09:22] It's not easy. [00:09:23] But it is some of the most necessary work that can be done. [00:09:28] And it's accessible to everybody. [00:09:29] And you become a one-person change agent. [00:09:32] Here's a great example. [00:09:33] Many of you have kids that are 18 or 19, and they're just kind of, oh, you know, I'm not sure if I vote. [00:09:40] Get your kids to vote and get them to vote for Trump. [00:09:45] Every single parent or grandparent out there, you need to make sure that your kids are voting and voting correctly. [00:09:50] That is an easy place to start. [00:09:52] Those are net new voters. [00:09:53] Those are new voters that were not in the system back in 2020 because they just turned 18 or 19. [00:09:58] They were 14 four years ago. [00:10:00] You find them, you get them registered, you get them into the system, and you get them to vote. [00:10:06] Cousins are the same. [00:10:07] Just make sure they vote the right way also. [00:10:09] So, hey, you better vote for Trump. [00:10:10] You better vote Republican. [00:10:11] You better vote conservative. [00:10:15] After a long day, no one wants to spend an hour in the kitchen making dinner. [00:10:19] Well, how about quick and easy barbecue? [00:10:21] No, not takeout. [00:10:22] I'm talking juicy steaks, succulent chicken or fish, and healthy grilled veggies cooked on your own Soler infrared gas grill. [00:10:29] Soler grills are the hot, fast grills that heat up to 1,000 degrees in just three minutes, even in the dead of winter. [00:10:36] And that heat locks in juices and flavors and grills your food faster. [00:10:49] It may be the last grill you'll ever need to buy. [00:10:52] It's an incredible product. === Beyond Statute Limitations (14:50) === [00:10:53] Visit best hotgrill.com. [00:11:22] Josiah says, Charlie, I would like to know your take on expectations since listening to Dennis Prager on this topic. [00:11:29] I've often wondered how that relates to political decisions that seem out of our control. [00:11:34] I've enjoyed listening to all of your shows over the last five years, and I'm grateful for the members' experience you've created. [00:11:39] Well, we're going to get the experience is going to get even better as we continue to build out the website and do all sorts of different things. [00:11:46] Thank you, Josiah. [00:11:47] So, what Josiah is referencing here, and I know Dennis Prager very well. [00:11:51] I think I've listened to more Dennis Prager than almost any other person alive. [00:11:57] I listen to him frequently. [00:11:58] He's incredible. [00:11:59] So, Dennis Prager writes in his happiness book. [00:12:02] The book is called Happiness is a Serious Problem. [00:12:05] Dennis Prager says he learned from a Buddhist that you must keep your expectations at nothing, at zero. [00:12:12] So, for example, if you are about to go on vacation and you have a picture in your mind that the vacation is going to be perfect, that the flight will be tranquil and you will get there early and it will be sunny and you'll get to the resort and you'll check into your hotel room and you'll be relaxed and your family will love it. [00:12:35] If that is the picture you have in your mind, and then you wake up and the flight is delayed five hours and the airport is packed and you have to eat that crummy airport food and you finally depart and then you land and it's rainy when you get there and the hotel doesn't have your room ready and you're not feeling very well. [00:12:55] One of your kids is sick. [00:12:57] You're willing to consider that entire experience a failure as just awful because you had very, very high expectations. [00:13:08] So Dennis believes that you could become a happier person by starting off with no expectations, zero expectations. [00:13:16] So on that vacation, just saying, I have no expectation for this to be wonderful or terrific, I'm entering with nothing. [00:13:23] And it's actually, it does create a happier person because you don't get your hopes up necessarily and you keep your expectations down. [00:13:30] I try to do the same thing in politics too, and that's your question there, Josiah. [00:13:34] I think it's very important, though, that even though that like screwed up vacation, that theoretical situation that I'm putting forward would be very lackluster and not enjoyable, you have a choice of what you do with it. [00:13:45] And a lot in life is a choice. [00:13:47] This is why I like Viktor Frankl so much. [00:13:49] This is why I appreciate Man's Search for Meaning, which is that we have a choice of how we act to our circumstances. [00:13:56] This is one of the most liberating truths that a person can internalize. [00:14:03] That you have the power, you have the agency to decide how you will react to your circumstances. [00:14:12] You do not always have the power, the agency to create your circumstances. [00:14:17] Sometimes you do. [00:14:18] You get to choose how you act and more importantly, how you react and how you make sense of those situations. [00:14:27] And so, for example, if you have a flight delayed, you can look at that as a terrible thing, or you have more time to listen to your favorite podcast. [00:14:37] You have more time to walk around the airport and get two miles of steps in. [00:14:40] That is a conscious decision that you make of how you are going to react to something that is lackluster. [00:14:48] So, Dennis Prager writes in his book, Happiness is a Serious Problem, which I recommend to all of you. [00:14:52] It's a terrific book, that expectations and gratitude are the two most important things to happiness. [00:14:58] That keeping your expectations to zero, and then when something good happens, you are more likely than to be thankful because you had no expectations. [00:15:07] And you cannot be happy if you are ungrateful. [00:15:12] That has never happened in the history of the world. [00:15:14] There's never been a happy person who is also not grateful. [00:15:18] The two happiest people in conservative media is Tucker Carlson and Dennis Prager. [00:15:24] Would you agree Tucker's up there, Andrew? [00:15:26] He's a genuinely happy person. [00:15:28] Super cheerful, very joyful. [00:15:30] The two things that Tucker and Dennis have in common, they're incredibly grateful, but they're remarkably curious about their surroundings. [00:15:40] They love to learn. [00:15:42] Those who love to learn tend to be happier as well because they have a zeal and a zest for life. [00:15:47] They want to learn everything they can, read as many books as they can, to internalize the complicated world around them. [00:15:57] And so, Josiah, it's a very smart question. [00:15:59] I love Dennis Prager. [00:16:00] He has his fireside chat. [00:16:01] It's a great podcast. [00:16:02] I listen to it. [00:16:03] He does a terrific job. [00:16:04] A lot of emails here, freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:16:07] If you are a member, you can ask us questions. [00:16:08] I want to get to this one question here, but it ties into a previous question we had about our event. [00:16:13] And I want to highlight an NPR article. [00:16:15] That's right, National Public Radio article that says the following. [00:16:20] After two years, Trump returns to Arizona with a new partner in campaigning. [00:16:24] On Thursday, Trump held a town hall event sponsored by Turning Point Action, which focuses on mobilizing young conservatives at Dream City Church. [00:16:31] To a chanting crowd of thousands, Trump vowed to make his voter mobilization efforts too big to rig. [00:16:38] Continues, the event underscores a new campaign tactic, directly using outside organizations to lead canvassing efforts to turn out voters. [00:16:46] Trump's presence in the state, his first this cycle, is seen as an endorsement of Turning Point's new Chase the Vote initiative. [00:16:53] The town hall also comes days after the Trump campaign and the RNC committee announced a swamp the vote initiative. [00:16:59] And by the way, we also now have Michael Watley speaking in Detroit, Chairman Watley of the RNC. [00:17:03] You got to let Lauren know. [00:17:04] He texted me that. [00:17:05] I forgot to alert her. [00:17:06] But that, yeah, he's coming, which is great. [00:17:08] Really thrilled about that. [00:17:09] How awesome is it to say that we're going to have the chair of the RNC there? [00:17:13] Because I could tell you six months ago, we would not have had the chair of the RNC at any of our events. [00:17:18] I think we would have invited Rana. [00:17:20] We're going to make November too big to rig, and we're going to overwhelm the ballot boxes, said Charlie Kirk. [00:17:24] There is no path to the White House without Arizona. [00:17:27] We're going to out-register them. [00:17:28] We're going to outwork them. [00:17:29] Arizona is one of the key swing states that could determine the outcome of the presidential election. [00:17:33] Chuck Coughlin, CEO of High Ground, a political consulting firm in Arizona, I don't know. [00:17:39] I feel as if he used to do bad quotes about us, right? [00:17:43] He used to be like the guy they would call, but he was actually very nice. [00:17:47] He was very nice to us in this one. [00:17:49] He used to be really nasty, I think. [00:17:51] It's a real, really a base motivational visit to make sure the people in Arizona, his team in Arizona, knows that he cares, Chuck Coughlin says. [00:17:57] They've got to feel his confidence in order to be mobilized and engage this cycle. [00:18:00] And that's not the case right now. [00:18:02] You can definitely feel it because he's not been out here. [00:18:04] Okay. [00:18:04] Continues. [00:18:05] There's preliminary discussions about potential visits that were never finalized. [00:18:08] Due to scheduling conflicts continues. [00:18:10] But then the big quotes are these. [00:18:12] And I'm going to kind of play this. [00:18:15] Stepping into a void, into part of that void is turning point action. [00:18:18] Speaking at Dream City Church, Kirk called on supporters to convince their fellow conservatives to turn out to vote, blaming low turnout and mobilization and recent state losses for the party. [00:18:27] This is exactly right. [00:18:28] The NPR absolutely got this right. [00:18:30] I blame us. [00:18:32] I blame us. [00:18:35] I blame our side. [00:18:38] The group is working to create an organizing effort to support Trump in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan. [00:18:43] Their goal is to raise $100 million and hire ballot chasers to doorknock, canvas, register voters, and encourage people to vote, whether it's in person or by mail. [00:18:50] So far, they've raised tens of millions of dollars, have hired hundreds of staff, and are onboarding 20 to 40 new staffers every week, according to Andrew Colvette. [00:18:57] But there is one quote I want to make sure I hit here. [00:19:01] It's the end quote, which is my favorite one at this piece, which is, it is the organizational ability that doesn't exist a cycle inside the GOP. [00:19:09] And Turning Point is presenting themselves as an alternative organizational front to be able to do those voter ID and turnout activities. [00:19:16] When thinking about an 11,000 vote margin, Trump lost by last cycle. [00:19:20] Colvett believes his efforts could make the difference this time. [00:19:22] Quote, Turning Point seems to be a place where it can marshal resources and human assets to help a campaign, whereas the GOP is not. [00:19:32] Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. [00:19:34] Can't pay the IRS. [00:19:35] Haven't filed in a while. [00:19:36] Receiving threatening letters. [00:19:37] Yeah, it's about to get even worse. [00:19:40] The IRS is hiring an army of agents targeting hardworking Americans just like you. [00:19:45] You need warriors on your side. [00:19:46] You need Tax Network USA. [00:19:48] Tax Network USA has a brilliant strategy to solve your IRS problem quickly in your favor. [00:19:54] For instance, they discovered a limited time special offer that the IRS is willing to waive $1 billion in penalties. [00:20:01] Find out if you qualify before it's too late. [00:20:41] Well, first of all, Go Ducks. [00:20:43] Just going to say that. [00:20:44] Right, Andrew? [00:20:45] National runner-up. [00:20:47] Andrew is the national runner-up, first loser. [00:20:52] We won the fiesta, actually. [00:20:55] The Liberty Flames were defeated, okay? [00:20:59] The mighty Liberty Flames. [00:21:01] We could have beat the Liberty Flames with 10 people on the field, okay? [00:21:05] Quick question: When is Trump speaking in Detroit? [00:21:07] When and whom are the meet and greets with? [00:21:09] It's because Father's Day weekend. [00:21:10] Appreciate any insight you could share. [00:21:11] Lastly, will there be a breakout? [00:21:12] How to use the Turnboy Act Turnpoint Action App? [00:21:14] Yes. [00:21:15] President Trump will be speaking on Saturday as far as breakouts. [00:21:17] Tons of them meet and greets, I don't know, but usually really big names. [00:21:21] Download it, have some questions. [00:21:22] And yes, we have an entire breakout session on app technology and being a liaison for the app. [00:21:27] Brad says he is a member. [00:21:29] Charlie, congrats on the baby boy. [00:21:31] My question is still regarding the Nebraska special session. [00:21:34] Will they become a winner, take all state or not, Brad from Texas? [00:21:37] We are on it. [00:21:37] We have a big announcement from the People's Convention where we're going to bring this back up to the surface. [00:21:42] We have not kept, just so you know, we have not lost focus on it. [00:21:45] It's not like we've been keeping on it every single day. [00:21:48] It's just a matter of we wanted to allow them to have some breathing room and a breathing period, especially some of their lawmakers are in Ukraine. [00:21:54] No exaggeration. [00:21:55] Some of the lawmakers are literally in Ukraine. [00:21:58] Charlie, what should I say to people in my life who clearly haven't looked into the Trump trials and think they're holier than now for quote not voting for a felon? [00:22:06] How to explain the trial to someone who clearly thinks they know everything about it? [00:22:11] Well, first, you need to talk about this question of, wait a second. [00:22:15] So why would you not vote for somebody who has been a victim of a show trial? [00:22:23] What is that all about? [00:22:26] The idea of not voting for a convicted felon, what is he tried for? [00:22:31] What did he actually do? [00:22:32] You should ask them and press them. [00:22:33] And by the way, this was beyond the statute of limitations. [00:22:36] This is very important, and people haven't talked about this. [00:22:38] Typically, almost non-capital offenses in the federal register of laws and also state laws is a five-year statute of limitations. [00:22:47] So you rob a bank, the government has five years to charge you, to indict you from the conclusion of that activity. [00:22:56] You have five years. [00:22:58] So in New York, Andrew Cuomo signed a law, and people don't know this. [00:23:06] As he was outgoing as governor, he signed a bill into law that extended the statute of limitations to six years and 47 days, basically expanding the window and saying, no, the statute of limitations is no longer five days. [00:23:25] It's six years and 47 days. [00:23:27] Obviously, trying to give the local Manhattan district attorneys more of an opportunity to be able to go after Trump. [00:23:35] To give you an idea of how pernicious this is, I have to read this. [00:23:40] Is that Trump's lawyers moved to dismiss the case based on the statute of limitations? [00:23:46] But Judge Murshon rejected the argument. [00:23:48] In a pretrial decision, the judge said the pandemic extension stretched out the deadline for the prosecution by one year and 47 days. [00:23:57] In other words, this felony prosecution had to be commenced within six years and 47 days from when the crimes were allegedly committed. [00:24:04] From when Alvin Bragg filed the charges, it was only days away from expiring under the statute of limitations. [00:24:11] New York is the only state in the country that I know of that expanded their statute of limitations because of COVID, allowing the government more leeway to claw back to older, quote-unquote, crimes to give the government more money. [00:24:24] This was done only to try to go after Donald Trump. [00:24:28] That's number one. [00:24:29] And a lesser and not talked about element of it. [00:24:32] Number two, CNN legal analyst describes how a Trump conviction was a political hit job. [00:24:38] Judge donated money. [00:24:39] Alvin Bragg boasted on the campaign trail to go after Trump. [00:24:42] Again, we'll link this at charliekirk.com. [00:24:44] This was a political hit job. [00:24:46] But you should also ask those holier-than-thou family members, why would they vote for an unconvicted felon named Joe Biden? [00:24:54] Ask them seriously: who has done more damage to the country? [00:25:00] Who has actually, in their life and in their business dealings, done worse, Joe Biden or Donald Trump? [00:25:10] It's a very serious question, which is Joe Biden peddled foreign influence for cash via the Chinese Communist Party and foreign governments via his son. [00:25:21] Donald Trump got convicted in a Moscow show trial for 34 counts for a business records dispute, falsifying business records. [00:25:33] Jessica, who is a member, says, Charlie, level with me. [00:25:36] I'm a huge Trump supporter, but I find it's hard not to feel defeated. [00:25:39] It's everywhere I turn, we're losing, and social media is full of liberals gloating they finally got Trump. === Why We Take Shabbat (04:26) === [00:25:43] It's exhausting. [00:25:44] Do you have any advice? [00:25:45] This must be an older question because it doesn't feel that way at all. [00:25:48] I mean, you look at social media, we are defeating them on TikTok. [00:25:52] We are beating them in a huge amount of chatter as far as the conversation on digital social media. [00:26:01] I don't feel that way at all. [00:26:03] Not to mention over $400 million raised for Trump's campaign from 2 million individual donors. [00:26:10] It is quite remarkable. [00:26:13] Okay, let's go here. [00:26:15] John says, Love the show, Charlie. [00:26:17] Do you ever get exhausted by a constant string of bad news? [00:26:20] Sometimes it's hard not to. [00:26:21] Well, of course, but again, it is a decision of how you're going to react to it. [00:26:25] If you are going to react to the bad news and allow yourself to be worn down, then absolutely. [00:26:33] This is why this is literally life-saving for me. [00:26:37] This is why tonight my phone goes off and I take a Shabbat. [00:26:42] I do not read the news for an entire day. [00:26:46] I do not know what is happening in the world for an entire day. [00:26:49] And I have proof of this. [00:26:50] When Israel was attacked by Hamas, I had no idea it was happening. [00:26:56] I had no clue. [00:26:58] I was reading my Bible. [00:27:00] I was going for walks. [00:27:01] I was kind of just chilling out. [00:27:02] All of a sudden, I turned my phone back on the next Sunday morning. [00:27:05] I go from Friday night to Sunday morning, 36 hours out my phone. [00:27:08] It is life-saving. [00:27:09] I turn on my phone. [00:27:10] A thousand-plus people dead killed by Hamas to Hamas who killed Israelis. [00:27:18] God invented Shabbat for a reason. [00:27:22] It is the only one of the Ten Commandments that is different in Deuteronomy when it is repeated after Exodus. [00:27:31] In Exodus 20, the Ten Commandments are there, and the Shabbat is mentioned in Exodus 20. [00:27:36] And then it's repeated in Deuteronomy, but it's a little bit different. [00:27:40] So in Exodus 20, when the decalogue was given down to Moses, the Ten Commandments, remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. [00:27:51] Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day to the Lord your God. [00:27:55] On it you shall do no work, neither you nor your son or daughter or male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. [00:28:02] By the way, that is, animals get a shout out in the Ten Commandments. [00:28:06] Very few people know that. [00:28:08] Continues, For in six days the Lord made heaven, the earth, and the sea, and that all is in them, and on the seventh he rested. [00:28:15] Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy, which means separate. [00:28:19] Okay, so then Moses basically gives a farewell address in the book of Deuteronomy. [00:28:25] The entire book of Deuteronomy is basically Moses saying goodbye to the Joshua generation about to enter the land of milk and honey. [00:28:31] And so he repeats every single one of the Ten Commandments, basically word for word, except the Sabbath, which is very important. [00:28:38] Observe the Sabbath day, so on and so forth. [00:28:40] And he says, quote, you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt. [00:28:48] And the Lord your God brought you out there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. [00:28:54] Therefore, the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day. [00:28:59] Only slaves work all seven days. [00:29:02] You can be a very wealthy slave. [00:29:05] What Moses is saying here is, why would you guys work seven days? [00:29:08] You're no longer a slave. [00:29:09] God delivered you out of slavery. [00:29:11] He delivered you out of the house of bondage. [00:29:12] Why are you working seven days? [00:29:15] Very interesting difference there. [00:29:18] So, yes, sometimes the news get me down, but my 36 hours without my phone keeps me sane. [00:29:23] Charlie, what did you say to an atheist who says, I'm tired of people trying to convert me? [00:29:27] It's very disrespectful, more so than not. [00:29:29] I wish people would grow up and know it's all superstition. [00:29:32] I said a few things. [00:29:32] Okay, and he goes on here. [00:29:33] First of all, if you're an atheist, why does it bother you so much? [00:29:37] It's all just a bunch of cells. [00:29:39] And if you're so right, just prove them wrong. [00:29:41] That's what I always laugh when atheists say, stop trying to convert me, but it's all just a bunch of meaningless matter, isn't it? [00:29:49] Why is that such a concern to you? [00:29:52] Let's go to Rhonda. [00:29:53] Charlie, how's the new baby? [00:29:55] Amazing. [00:29:56] Getting a little bit of sleep, not enough. [00:29:58] Praying for you. [00:30:00] And yeah, that's the question there. [00:30:02] Let's go to another one here, long one, which actually might come with a piece of tape here. === Another Juror Pled Guilty (01:26) === [00:30:10] Charlie, are you following the Hunter Biden gun trial? [00:30:13] What's going on there? [00:30:14] You know, we haven't covered that yet. [00:30:16] Let's kind of play a little bit of a Jesse Waters clip here. [00:30:18] This is from one of our members who asked the question. [00:30:20] Let's play Cut 64. [00:30:22] One juror's childhood best friend died from a heroin overdose. [00:30:27] Another juror has an alcoholic brother-in-law. [00:30:30] He called it a disease. [00:30:32] Brother-in-law is now dead. [00:30:34] One juror's dad was shot dead, and his brother was arrested for narcotics possession. [00:30:40] Another juror pled guilty to a DUI. [00:30:44] Another juror had an older brother addicted to PCP and heroin, but doesn't think people should own guns if they're addicted to drugs. [00:30:52] Although another juror says weed's no big deal, and you should be able to buy a gun on it. [00:30:59] And another juror worked for the Secret Service. [00:31:02] Her husband, still in the Secret Service. [00:31:06] Ashley Biden reportedly smiling when she heard that. [00:31:10] Yeah, imagine if Hunter Biden gets off on the gun charges. [00:31:16] Meanwhile, Donald Trump gets 34 counts. [00:31:19] And yeah, that is the same Ashley Biden from the diary. [00:31:23] That's exactly right. [00:31:24] Thanks so much for listening, everybody. [00:31:25] Email us as alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com. [00:31:27] Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
