[00:02:52] This very well might be one of the most important vice presidential picks in American history. [00:02:59] Whomever Donald Trump selects as VP is going to have to wear multiple hats. [00:03:06] It's going to have to be someone who can help the movement and not bring it down. [00:03:11] It has to be someone that excites the base but doesn't turn off independent voters. [00:03:16] And of course, if they try to throw Donald Trump in prison, someone who can be a stand-in, someone who can help run the government, someone who is young enough and connected with the needs, wants, concerns, anxieties of the younger generation while still having a connection to Gen X and baby boomers. [00:03:37] Whomever Donald Trump selects as vice president has to be loyal. [00:03:42] It cannot be someone who is leaking constantly in the New York Times, the Washington Post, someone who doesn't share the worldview. [00:03:49] You see, in many times past, as we saw in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan took over the Republican Party, but the internationalist globalist Chamber of Commerce donors put in H.W. Bush. [00:04:02] And H.W. Bush was constantly undercutting Ronald Reagan's presidency. [00:04:08] H.W. Bush and his central intelligence agency leanings and connections was the beginning of the deep state from Reagan's revolution. [00:04:18] Donald Trump in 2016, they put in Mike Pence to kind of keep an eye on things. [00:04:23] That is the formula. [00:04:25] Populist, nationalist, people-centered movement at the top of the ticket and a transactional Chamber of Commerce donor-appointed vice president. [00:04:36] Now, the names that are being discussed for vice president, the finalists, if you will, according to public reports and some little whispers I'm hearing, is Doug Bergham. [00:04:46] We're hearing Marco Rubio, JD Vance. [00:04:50] Someone said the other day, Haggerty from Tennessee, Senator Haggerty. [00:04:55] I don't know if that's true or not. [00:04:56] That one seems a little distant. [00:04:59] But it seems as if that the final three or final four, and then Tim Scott would be on the list. [00:05:04] The final four would be Tim Scott, JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Doug Bergham. [00:05:11] Let's go one by one. [00:05:12] Doug Bergum and I have certainly had our disagreements. [00:05:14] He's been very loyal to President Trump. [00:05:17] No huge issue with that. [00:05:18] However, the word that most of you email us when it comes to Doug Bergham is boring. [00:05:24] That's the word that we get. [00:05:25] Not exactly exciting. [00:05:27] You could do worse than Doug Bergum, but not someone who would necessarily electrify the base. [00:05:32] Marco Rubio. [00:05:33] Marco's been better in recent years, but he is definitely more in the mold of a chamber of commerce, moderate, internationalist, some would say more regime-friendly candidate than others. [00:05:50] Tim Scott. [00:05:52] Tim Scott has not been the fighter in the U.S. Senate that we would have hoped. [00:05:56] Now, again, Tim Scott is someone that you would want on your church elder board. [00:06:00] Tim Scott is someone that you would be happy as a neighbor. [00:06:04] Like, hey, knock on a door. [00:06:05] Hey, I'm not a laundry detergent. [00:06:07] Do you have any, Mr. Scott? [00:06:08] Of course. [00:06:09] Hey, do you, I'm sorry, I ran out of butter. [00:06:12] Do you have any? [00:06:12] Like, Tim Scott would be the first guy to drive you to the airport at 5 a.m. [00:06:18] Sweet guy. [00:06:18] Nice guy. [00:06:19] I don't know if he's VP material. [00:06:21] And then that leaves us with JD Vance. [00:06:25] JD Vance, I believe, checks all the boxes. [00:06:28] JD Vance has so many positives going for him, and they must be repeated. [00:06:37] And I think it's important that the JD Vance conversation, we also talk about the one negative that he has. [00:06:47] And the one negative, I actually think, is an immense positive. [00:06:51] I have a new article out that is a, it's doing very well on the Federalist. [00:06:56] Why JD Vance is Trump's ideal running mate. [00:06:59] Now, you might have another ideal. [00:07:01] I want to tell you again, the finalists. [00:07:03] Doug Bergum, Marco Rubio, JD Vance, Tim Scott. [00:07:05] That's all public reporting and a couple whispers that I hear in the inner circle. [00:07:10] JD Vance out of those four is by far the best. [00:07:12] He's by far no matter who's in the contention. [00:07:15] We write in the Federalist, JD Vance understands better than anyone both why Trump succeeded in the first term and how to make him succeed in the second. [00:07:26] President Trump's vice presidential search is in the home stretch. [00:07:29] Trump must pick a running mate prior to the RNC in mid-July, but he has ample incentive to pick one sooner. [00:07:36] The sooner he makes the pick, the sooner that individual can prepare for a vice presidential debate, which could be held as soon as July. [00:07:42] But the days of wild speculation are past, and the time for serious decision-making is here. [00:07:48] And weighing the pros and cons of each possible selection, I realize the best choice has been obvious all along. [00:07:55] Senator JD Vance of Ohio. [00:07:58] He is the only veteran in the final four contention. [00:08:03] He grew up in a dysfunctional family in the exurbs of Cincinnati. [00:08:08] He speaks for the forgotten man. [00:08:11] For those that do not know, he's a best-selling author of the book, Hillbilly Elegy, which also became a Netflix series. [00:08:18] He understands the working class better than any other candidate, the muscular class, the forgotten America. [00:08:27] He's a proven winner who defeated a tough Republican field in the Ohio primary and then a very formidable Democrat opponent in what turned out to be a tougher than expected 2022 midterm election. [00:08:43] But I write here, Vance is not just a populist totem. [00:08:47] He's incredibly smart. [00:08:48] He may have the single best brain in the entire U.S. Congress for grasping what must be done to complete the Trump realignment on the border, on foreign policy, and on draining the swamp. [00:09:01] He is wicked smart. [00:09:02] He is the smartest member of the U.S. Senate. [00:09:05] Joe Biden was the dumbest member of the U.S. Senate. [00:09:08] JD Vance is by far the smartest person in the Senate. [00:09:12] Maybe Rand Paul would be up there. [00:09:13] Maybe Josh Hawley would be up there. [00:09:15] As far as brainpower, as far as the ability to process information, understand, JD Vance ran successful businesses before this. [00:09:22] He's made a lot of money. [00:09:23] He's best-selling author across the board, made a bunch of money, came from a forgotten part of the country, understands those needs, wants, and concerns, speaks to them effectively. [00:09:35] And he is terrific on the three big issues that the neocons try to force feed us. [00:09:41] He is the best on the Ukraine war of anybody. [00:09:45] He is the best on foreign trade and importing plastics and nonsense from overseas. [00:09:51] And he is the best on the issue of mass immigration. [00:09:56] Unlike many Trump-inspired politicians, Vance isn't simply a discount Trump trying to be same thing but worse. [00:10:04] He won't outshine Trump and fail or act outlandishly to try and copy him and look ridiculous instead. [00:10:10] Vance has his own style, more restrained and more serious, yet equally rock solid on the issues. [00:10:17] The single best message Trump has in 2024 is a straightforward one. === Why Vance Beats Marco Rubio (08:38) === [00:10:21] This is the first election in 130 years where both men have been president before. [00:10:26] Compare their records. [00:10:27] Period. [00:10:28] End of story. [00:10:29] That is the election. [00:10:30] We compare the records. [00:10:32] We win the narrative. [00:10:34] We win the argument. [00:10:35] Who did it better? [00:10:36] That is what the 2024 election is all about. [00:10:38] Put it on posters, put it on signs, commit it to memory. [00:10:42] Who did it better? [00:10:45] Democrats want this to be an election of distractions, criminal trials, media sensationalism, and Christian nationalism fear-mongering. [00:10:52] Trump should not take the bait. [00:10:54] This election is about who was a better president. [00:10:56] And JD Vance understands better than anyone why Trump succeeded in the first term and how to make him succeed in the second. [00:11:03] Now, we're going to keep talking about this because it involves Nebraska, and I'm going to give you a Nebraska update in just a second. [00:11:08] This involves the electoral map. [00:11:10] This involves what people would say is the number one reason why we shouldn't pick JD Vance, which I actually think is a positive waiting to happen. [00:11:20] There's something in JD Vance's past that the audience says, oh, it's a terrible thing. [00:11:25] It's terrible. [00:11:26] I actually think it's wonderful. [00:11:28] I'm going to tell you about it. [00:11:29] I want to hear your thoughts and your reaction. [00:11:30] Out of those final four that we know of, Doug Bergam, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, JD Vance, who do you think? [00:11:35] Email me, freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:12:39] They have all three major networks. [00:12:40] Check it out right now, patriotmobile.com slash Charlie. [00:12:46] I want to play Cut 67 here. [00:12:47] This is JD Vance defending the president this last weekend. [00:12:52] Play Cut 67. [00:12:54] This judge committed multiple elements of reversible error, and he did it while his daughter has made a ton of money off of Democratic candidates. [00:13:02] And while he himself donated to the Biden campaign, you cannot say that this trial was anything more than politics masquerading as justice. [00:13:12] He has this superpower, JD Vance. [00:13:15] And the superpower is he always has a calmer disposition than who is interviewing him. [00:13:23] That is exactly what you want in a VP with Trump. [00:13:28] Steady hands. [00:13:30] He doesn't get too fired up, tough but measured. [00:13:33] It's a way of just kind of walking through, saying, yeah, this was a show trial. [00:13:39] It's beautifully put. [00:13:40] I'm going to keep on going through all the positives, but let me just take a pause and I want to address the negative. [00:13:45] The negative is that, well, Charlie, JD Vance was not a Trump supporter back in 2016 and 2017. [00:13:52] It's true. [00:13:52] This is well known. [00:13:53] This has been covered and figured out. [00:13:55] I think this is terrific. [00:13:58] Why? [00:13:59] It makes his growth real. [00:14:03] If we are serious about winning in 2024, having a VP who was once skeptical and then became a fan and became a follower is legit. [00:14:15] That's somebody who has true beliefs. [00:14:17] That is someone who is willing to reconsider, who has a worldview and says, my goodness, this guy's advancing the worldview. [00:14:25] We want to encourage those people who might not have been MAGA in 2020, who might not have been very pro-Trump in 2000, which JD was. [00:14:36] This was eight or nine years ago, just so we're clear. [00:14:38] This was back in 2015, just so we're clear, which there are a lot of people that were skeptical on the Trump thing. [00:14:45] And it shows an open mind and humility. [00:14:47] In fact, if we want to win, to have someone say, guys, I wasn't always on board of the Trump train, but I am. [00:14:53] And let me tell you why. [00:14:54] That is an opening to connect to skeptics, to connect to swing voters. [00:15:01] Somebody says, guys, let me be very honest with you. [00:15:03] I wasn't sure what to make of the entire Trump thing, but my goodness, am I an enthusiastic believer? [00:15:08] Why? [00:15:09] Biggest blue-collar boom in 40 years. [00:15:11] Middle-class wages were going up. [00:15:13] Inflation was non-existent. [00:15:15] No new wars. [00:15:16] We had a border. [00:15:17] Three Supreme Court justices. [00:15:18] We were getting our confidence back as a country. [00:15:22] JD Vance can help with the hold your nose voters. [00:15:27] The, I can't take it. [00:15:28] I'm going to hold my nose. [00:15:29] I'm going to go with Trump. [00:15:30] It allows people an additional reason to vote for Trump. [00:15:35] Not to mention, this is not someone who is going to be undercutting Trump like Mike Pence or like George H.W. Bush. [00:15:43] This is someone who believes in MAGA just as much, if not more than Trump at times, on the three core issues. [00:15:50] Foreign intervention, immigration, trade. [00:15:54] JD Vance is terrific on all three. [00:15:56] And that segues to the Nebraska conversation. [00:16:01] That segues to the electoral map. [00:16:04] We must win a Rust Belt state. [00:16:08] Now, we're going to have some, we're going to be doing our Nebraska focus all summer. [00:16:12] In fact, we have some Nebraska news to share at the People's Convention. [00:16:16] They're going to call a special session on taxes. [00:16:18] We want to have them call a special session also on winner take all. [00:16:21] We are working on this behind the scenes. [00:16:24] And we just kind of have been steady on this. [00:16:27] But there will be a time when we turn up the temperature and you guys be ready. [00:16:30] We have not forgotten. [00:16:30] We have not lost track. [00:16:32] We're in constant communication. [00:16:33] We have got to get this done. [00:16:34] And I'm going to show you on the map why we have to get it done. [00:16:37] Not to mention, if JD Vance becomes vice president, who would be a great replacement for his Senate seat? [00:16:43] Vivek Ramaswamy. [00:16:46] He's from Ohio. [00:16:48] So you have Vivek become senator from Ohio. [00:16:51] JD Vance becomes vice president. [00:16:54] Win across the board. [00:16:56] But if we want to win, not just tie, because the Nebraska one is basically built on a tie which gets us to win in the House. [00:17:05] It comes down to the blue wall. [00:17:08] The blue wall used to include Ohio. [00:17:10] Not anymore. [00:17:11] Because of Donald Trump and people like JD Vance, Ohio is no longer part of the blue wall. [00:17:15] There are three components to the blue wall. [00:17:18] We win one of those components. [00:17:19] If we also win Arizona, Georgia, Donald Trump is president. [00:17:22] And this is why the Democrats are throwing him in prison. [00:17:24] They know the map. [00:17:24] By the way, we have been saying this for a year and a half. [00:17:28] This program has been way ahead of the curve on this. [00:17:30] We've been saying this for 18 months. [00:17:32] 18 months, we've been saying this. [00:17:34] And we're going to show you the map. [00:17:36] And there's one candidate on the list, the final four, Bergham, Rubio, Vance, Scott, who's uniquely positioned to be a blue wall winner. [00:17:47] Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. [00:17:49] Did you know that 80% of adults take supplements to feel our best, right? [00:18:54] Freedom at CharlieKirk.com. [00:18:55] Overwhelmingly supportive of JD Vance. [00:18:58] Some of you guys are recommending other names. === Winning the Midwestern Vote (15:27) === [00:19:00] I'm just telling you who the four finalists are. [00:19:03] And Ben Carson, Byron Donalds, and Marco Rubio. [00:19:08] You know what they all have in common? [00:19:10] Ben Carson, Byron Donalds, Marco Rubio. [00:19:13] They all live in Florida. [00:19:15] So it would require somebody leaving the state of Florida, 12th Amendment. [00:19:19] Both candidates can't be from the same state. [00:19:22] So because of that, you have the Tim Scott thing. [00:19:24] You got Marco Rubio, Bergham, JD Vance. [00:19:26] So I just want you to look at the criteria. [00:19:28] The final four, if you will, based on all public reporting, is Doug Bergham, Marco Rubio, JD Vance, Tim Scott. [00:19:36] And I could tell you that's legit based on people I've been talking to, and we're pretty well sourced in Trump world. [00:19:42] So I want to start with this. [00:19:43] I want to start with cut 71. [00:19:45] This is very important. [00:19:47] And this involves Nebraska. [00:19:48] We're going to pepper this in, okay? [00:19:49] This is cut 71. [00:19:52] This is if Donald Trump wins Iowa, which he will. [00:19:58] If he wins, this is a little bit, this map's a little bit screwed up. [00:20:01] This is if Nebraska fixes it, but that's all right. [00:20:04] I moved too fast. [00:20:05] That's not the point of this one. [00:20:06] This is if Trump wins Iowa, if Trump wins Ohio, if Trump wins North Carolina and wins Florida. [00:20:12] That's basic, those states look great. [00:20:14] Those states are basically on lock. [00:20:16] And if Trump flips Georgia, which is looking better and better. [00:20:20] Do you know, just can I take a pause really quick on Georgia? [00:20:24] I was re-watching the 2020 election night coverage. [00:20:29] Do you know that exit polling showed that 75% of Georgia voters in 2020 said that you should wear masks outside? [00:20:37] Now, you might say you don't believe that poll. [00:20:39] Think back to 2020. [00:20:40] The point is the electorate is way healthier for us than it was in 2020, and we still only fell 41,000 votes short. [00:20:49] The country lost its mind in 2020 is the point. [00:20:52] And Trump still fell 10,000 votes short in Georgia. [00:20:55] I was re-watch, I had to re-watch it like three times. [00:20:58] 75% of Georgia voters in an exit poll. [00:21:03] Again, you might not think the exit poll is legit, even if it's like half wrong. [00:21:06] I mean, 75% said that you should wear masks outside. [00:21:10] So anyway, just I want you to think about that. [00:21:12] So Georgia, let's hopefully we'll flip. [00:21:15] We're putting a lot of work into that. [00:21:17] And let's put that back up, please, on screen. [00:21:19] Same one. [00:21:20] Arizona, if we flip. [00:21:22] Okay, here's the issue. [00:21:24] We'll leave Nevada aside for a second here. [00:21:27] If you do not win Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Wisconsin, one of those three, Joe Biden is president. [00:21:35] If you do not win one of those three. [00:21:37] Now, let's now go to cut, not cut. [00:21:40] Let's put 70 up. [00:21:41] Now, on 70, this is where Nebraska comes in, just so everyone knows. [00:21:46] If you flip Nevada, fix Nebraska, we go to 269. [00:21:50] That's the insurance policy. [00:21:51] I'm going to put on my Nebraska hat. [00:21:52] You know, I have this Nebraska hat on the table at all times. [00:21:55] We are not forgetting about Nebraska. [00:21:57] We've been quiet on it intentionally because they're not in session and they're ramping up. [00:22:02] This summer, this audience, we are going to demand action. [00:22:07] We're giving them a little space to breathe. [00:22:09] We are going to demand action. [00:22:10] That's if Nebraska fixes it. [00:22:12] Okay. [00:22:13] Now, I want to go to the final cut here because, again, it's whoever gets the 270 electoral votes becomes president. [00:22:19] The final one is 69, which I call the JD Vance map. [00:22:23] This is the JD Vance map. [00:22:24] This is if we flip Georgia, flip Arizona, which God willing we will, and we lose Nevada, because Nevada is very tricky. [00:22:32] Andrew is convinced we're flipping Nevada. [00:22:36] I'll believe it when I see it. [00:22:37] I'm sorry. [00:22:38] It's just Nevada is tough. [00:22:39] I want to believe that, but structurally, it is very, very hard to do. [00:22:43] But we'll see. [00:22:44] Now, you see, all of a sudden, Trump becomes president if you're able to win either Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Michigan. [00:22:52] With Pennsylvania, it goes red, as you can see exhibited in that all of a sudden Trump gets the 281 electoral votes. [00:23:00] That's even if Nebraska doesn't fix. [00:23:03] That is even if Nebraska does not fix its, it's get its act together. [00:23:07] Which candidate out of the ones that are in contention in the final four, Doug Bergham, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, or JD Vance have the best chance of helping in the industrial rust belt, specifically Pennsylvania. [00:23:25] Remember, Pennsylvania and Ohio, they're neighbors. [00:23:28] They share a huge border. [00:23:30] The values of eastern Ohio, which JD Vance did very well, are also the values of western Pennsylvania. [00:23:36] That is the home of the muscular class. [00:23:38] The home of the muscular class in America, where Donald Trump needs to run up the score and needs to do even better than he did in 2020, is in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. [00:23:53] That is where Trump needs to zero in on. [00:23:58] So again, out of the VP selections, Bergham, Marco, Vance, and Scott, there's only one that has actually won an office in that region of the world, who's currently holding office and is remarkably popular. [00:24:11] I write in the Federalist. [00:24:13] The second part is essential this. [00:24:14] Several candidates have credible claims they'll help Trump win in November, but Vance has that and would be an excellent help to Trump for the next four years, unlike Mike Pence before him. [00:24:23] Vance is in full ideological alignment with Trump. [00:24:26] Trump can delegate to Vance and his office without worrying his campaign promises will be ignored or betrayed. [00:24:32] Of course, nobody is owed the job of vice president just for being a dutiful soldier, but after the experience in the 2020 election, it's clear Trump should have second in command whose commitment to his political movement is beyond question. [00:24:45] As I write here, Vance has other bonuses. [00:24:48] He is the VP contender with the closest ties to the state that right now seems to have the best odds of deciding the election. [00:24:56] Right now, based on public polling, anecdotes, things we're seeing on the ground, and the data that we're collecting at turning point action, Arizona, Pennsylvania is the one-two combo. [00:25:06] Georgia is looking better and better. [00:25:08] Arizona, Pennsylvania is the one-two combo. [00:25:11] That is going to determine the entire republic. [00:25:14] Unless Nebraska changes to winner-take-all system, which we're working on, I want to be very clear. [00:25:18] We're working on Nebraska, everybody. [00:25:20] Trump will have to win one of the three Rust Belt states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. [00:25:25] Now, we're not giving up on Wisconsin. [00:25:26] We are still deploying huge resources in Wisconsin at turning point action because we still think there's a path in Wisconsin, a good one, because Wisconsin, out of the three states, it has the worst polling right now out of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. [00:25:41] But do you know what Wisconsin is the best at? [00:25:44] Hardest to cheat. [00:25:46] It is the hardest to cheat out of those three states by far. [00:25:49] The hardest to cheat in those three states. [00:25:51] Now, they still cheat like the Dickens in Wisconsin, but it is the hardest of the three states to cheat, without a doubt. [00:25:56] They've made recent laws to Zuckerboxes. [00:25:58] They made recent laws to ballot custody. [00:26:00] Remember, we just won some ballot referendum stuff on there. [00:26:02] Ron Johnson has won statewide. [00:26:06] So right now, Michigan has two Democrat senators. [00:26:09] Pennsylvania has two Democrat senators. [00:26:10] Senator Johnson won in Wisconsin. [00:26:12] He won by about 40,000 votes, 38, 40,000 votes. [00:26:16] Pennsylvania, however, has been polling the most favorably for Trump recently. [00:26:21] The rural voters of Pennsylvania are much like the rural voters of Ohio who elected Vance. [00:26:26] If Vance can help turn out even another 10,000 of them for Trump, that can make the difference between victory and defeat. [00:26:34] And now, while Ohio itself would not be close to this cycle, a key race there will be Senator Sherrod Brown's campaign for reelection. [00:26:41] A second Trump administration will be vastly stronger with a Republican-controlled Senate. [00:26:46] It will mean speedy confirmation of appointees, free hand on judges, all that stuff. [00:26:50] One of the best ways to take out Brown is to have a fellow Ohioan on the ballot with Trump. [00:26:56] So think about it. [00:26:57] If you want to win the Senate, you put Trump Vance on the ticket in Ohio. [00:27:03] Trump will overperform because there's another Ohioan and Ohioans love sending their own to the White House. [00:27:08] I think Ohio has the most presidents of any state, by the way. [00:27:11] Blake could fact-check me on that. [00:27:13] I think Ohio has the best, most states. [00:27:15] They have a ton of presidents. [00:27:16] They have like 18 or something. [00:27:17] Insane. [00:27:18] 14. [00:27:19] One of the best ways to take out Sherrod Brown, boom, you control the Senate. [00:27:23] Vance also lacks the downsides that come with some of the other candidates. [00:27:27] Since he doesn't share a home in Florida with Trump, there's no awkwardness or lawfare with the 12th Amendment. [00:27:33] And that is JD Vance in a nutshell. [00:27:36] He's the complete package. [00:27:39] Swing state credibility, political chops, good on the campaign trail, was once a Trump skeptic and now is a devotee. [00:27:46] Good on the issue, smart as a whip, no fatal flaws. [00:27:48] He's the companion Donald Trump needs to win in November. [00:27:54] I want to play another piece of tape here. [00:27:56] Here's JD Vance defending President Trump this last week. [00:27:58] And meanwhile, Nikki Haley's sending rockets in Israel is doing something crazy. [00:28:02] Seriously, she's signing missiles or something. [00:28:05] It's weird. [00:28:06] Let's play cut 66. [00:28:10] What the Democrats are doing is shredding 250 years of constitutional tradition to go after their political opponent, Democrat or Republican, that should really bother you because I want to live in a country where we can have our Democratic debates, we can fight about politics, and at the end of the day, you don't try to throw the other guy in jail for winning an election. [00:28:29] Vance also re-emphasizes a lot of Trump's best strengths. [00:28:33] Trump has overwhelming anti-establishment credibility. [00:28:36] He's hated by the right people. [00:28:37] Vance is hit the same way by the press in D.C. There's a whole political hit piece hating on him. [00:28:42] Remember, Mitch McConnell did everything he could to try to defeat JD Vance in the primary of Ohio, and he failed. [00:28:48] Trump has a reflexive hatred of America's political BS. [00:28:52] He doesn't fall or repeat DC's concocted scams like Ukraine is a central part of American security or illegal immigrants do the jobs Americans won't do. [00:29:00] This gives Trump an unbeatable reputation as a tell-it-like it is straight talker. [00:29:04] Vance was one of the only Republicans to grasp the same facts on Ukraine. [00:29:09] Unapologetic America-first nationalism doesn't pretend the rest of the world's people are just like Americans, except when they're better. [00:29:17] Trump has an intuitive ability to speak to the concerns and priorities of the Forgotten Man, and Vance is excellent there as well. [00:29:24] Email us freedom at charliekirk.com from a political standpoint, from a policy standpoint, from a chess move standpoint. [00:29:31] He checks all the boxes, especially given the final four. [00:29:33] You don't get to choose the final four. [00:29:35] Based on all reporting and sources I have, Bergam, Rubio, Vance, Scott, choose your fighter. [00:29:40] Email me, freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:29:45] The emails are flooding, and thousands and thousands of emails are receiving freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:29:51] By the way, we're going to do a whole poll here based on your emails, and I'm going to show the president the results on Thursday. [00:29:57] Let's put up the cut. [00:29:58] We have the president coming this Thursday to Dream City Church here in Phoenix, the show of force town hall. [00:30:06] We're going to be doing ballot chasing. [00:30:07] We're going to be doing all sorts of different types of training. [00:30:11] Go to tpaction.com/slash town hall. [00:30:15] That is tpaction.com/slash town hall. [00:30:18] President Donald Trump chased the vote. [00:30:20] So your emails that you email is freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:30:24] I'm going to show them the results. [00:30:26] I'm going to say, I'm going to show President Trump and say, hey, Mr. President, here's what our audience thinks. [00:30:31] Our audience of a couple million strong. [00:30:34] And so I'm seeing him there. [00:30:35] And we're seeing him again in Detroit, Michigan next weekend. [00:30:39] We're doing a major event there, the People's Convention. [00:30:42] Get your tickets, tpaction.com/slash peoples. [00:30:45] A lot of people are afraid of losing him as a senator. [00:30:47] I totally hear that. [00:30:49] Trust me, if you like him as a senator, you want him then to become vice president. [00:30:54] Let me just tell you. [00:30:56] That's a compliment, by the way. [00:30:58] I just want to be very clear. [00:30:59] The fact that the number one piece of feedback we receive from the audience is Charlie, I don't want to lose him as my senator, means he's a great senator. [00:31:09] And we do have Mike DeWine, who's kind of awful, who would replace him. [00:31:13] So there needs to be a deal struck. [00:31:15] And I think Vivek Ramaswamy is a great replacement. [00:31:18] Get it? [00:31:20] You have JD Vance, who becomes vice president. [00:31:24] And then you have Vuvek Ramaswamy, who becomes a U.S. Senator. [00:31:29] And by the way, there's other Ohio superstars. [00:31:31] You got Warren Davidson, who's great. [00:31:33] Charlie, I'm a Wisconsin voter. [00:31:35] I think JD Vance could help get the Wisconsin vote by the tribalism that the Midwest holds. [00:31:39] People may be more willing to vote for a Midwesterner in Wisconsin. [00:31:43] We always support people from the Midwest making their mark in society. [00:31:46] I could tell you this, as a Midwesterner myself, it's like we're part of this club. [00:31:50] And when I meet a fellow Midwesterner, it's like we understand each other. [00:31:56] When I meet someone from Indiana, like Citizen Kane, when I meet someone from Wisconsin, when I meet someone from Minnesota, Iowa, it's that core of the country. [00:32:05] I'm very, very biased to the Midwest. [00:32:06] I think the Midwest creates the best people. [00:32:08] I'm sorry to the West Coast. [00:32:09] Sorry to the South. [00:32:10] I'm sorry. [00:32:10] I'm very biased. [00:32:11] I think the Midwest has the best people. [00:32:12] I'm sorry. [00:32:13] It's just the way. [00:32:13] I'm very biased. [00:32:15] JD Vance is going to win the Big Ten vote. [00:32:17] And no, I don't mean the UCLA, USC, Oregon, Washington. [00:32:20] That's new expanded, crazy Big Ten thing. [00:32:22] I mean the traditional Big Ten. [00:32:24] I mean the Big Ten of, well, Nebraska used to be part of the Big 12, but Nebraska is part of the Big Ten. [00:32:30] I mean Nebraska. [00:32:30] I mean Iowa. [00:32:31] I mean Minnesota. [00:32:32] I mean Illinois. [00:32:33] I mean Purdue. [00:32:34] I mean Indiana. [00:32:35] I mean Wisconsin. [00:32:36] I mean Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio, Penn State, not Rutgers and Maryland. [00:32:42] They're not really part of the Big Ten. [00:32:43] They're Big Ten expansion. [00:32:44] I'm talking about the core Big Ten. [00:32:46] I'm talking about the remnant. [00:32:48] JD Vance runs up the score in the actual Big Ten. [00:32:52] Lori emails, it's important. [00:32:53] The vice president will carry on the MAGA legacy after Trump four years. [00:32:57] JD Vance would. [00:32:59] Julie, we all need Republican senator to stay in the Senate because we need every Republican to stay in the Congress Senate. [00:33:03] He needs to pick Ben Carson. [00:33:04] Okay, fair enough. [00:33:06] Tony says, Charlie, we want J.D. to stay in Ohio. [00:33:09] He's the best senator we've ever had for the people. [00:33:11] I'm sorry, Joni, Tony. [00:33:13] That's just making my argument. [00:33:15] You want someone who's loved so much from their home state, they do not want to see him go. [00:33:19] That means he's a winner. [00:33:21] And that also means if they love him in Ohio, by the way, he has this huge political operation. [00:33:26] He could run off the score. [00:33:27] Now, one guy emails us. [00:33:30] Scott says, Charlie, two white dudes is wrong move. [00:33:33] That is old school. [00:33:34] I completely disagree. [00:33:36] You see, I think in the era of identity politics where Kamala Harris is just selected because she's a black female, where Katanji Brown Jackson's an affirmative action pick, I think that two white men based on merit, based on spirit, based on intellect and wisdom is a giant F you to the DEI CRT complex. [00:33:56] I think America wants competency and merit over diversity and equity and inclusion in 2024. [00:34:04] So I completely disagree with that. [00:34:06] Oh, two white men. [00:34:07] And by the way, let's just be honest. [00:34:08] You need the white men vote in Pennsylvania. [00:34:11] Donald Trump did worse with the white men vote in 2020 than in 2016. [00:34:16] So don't hyperracialize things. [00:34:18] Kimberly says, I think JD Vance is the only choice going forward, especially with wanting to keep America first agenda going. [00:34:24] If Trump picks a weak choice and then in 2028, the Rhinos might be back in charge. === Audience Picks for Vice President (00:46) === [00:34:28] Thank you for everything you and Turning Point do. [00:34:30] Retiled Colonel says, Steve Brunnan says, this is my vote for vice president, retired colonel. [00:34:37] Thank you for your service. [00:34:38] Again, you have four choices. [00:34:40] Bergam, Marco, J.D., Tim Scott. [00:34:42] Choose your fighter. [00:34:42] Pick your fighter. [00:34:43] Get in the arena. [00:34:44] Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.
