[00:01:36]  You are one of the most influential pastors in the country.
[00:01:38]  Well, I don't know about that, but I pastor a church called Free Chapel.
[00:01:42]  We are primarily in the state of Georgia, but we have campus in South Carolina, campus in California, and all over Georgia.
[00:01:52]  Yeah, and I watch you almost every Sunday on Real America's Voice.
[00:01:55]  Well, I'm very honored.

[00:01:59]  So you addressed our pastors last evening with Dream City Church, Dream Conference, Strong Church, TPSA Faith, kind of this amazing partnership.

[00:02:12]  Well, so now the bar is even higher, Jensen.
[00:02:15]  Well, the atmosphere of the place, first of all, is so, you know, you feel isolated as a pastor if you're taking a stand.
[00:02:23]  To be honest, you feel like, kind of like Elijah, you know, in the Bible, he said, I'm the only one left, God.
[00:02:29]  And then you come to a conference like you're putting on, and he found out that God had 7,000 more out there that were preaching.
[00:02:38]  There were thousands of people there last night, and they were fired up about, you know, standing in the purpose of God, doing what God has called them to do as leaders, and standing up for truth in our states and in our nation.
[00:02:52]  Amen.
[00:02:53]  And thank you.
[00:02:53]  Thank you for your vision to partner with, you know, people of faith.
[00:02:58]  We just deeply appreciate what you're doing.
[00:03:01]  So, Jensen, you're very outspoken, and first and foremost, for Jesus and the kingdom, and everything flows from that.
[00:03:07]  How do you respond to some pastors that say we shouldn't get involved in the political side, this Christian nationalism stuff?
[00:03:14]  I only preach the gospel.
[00:03:16]  How do you respond to that?
[00:03:18]  I can't separate my faith from the place, the nation, the schools my kids and grandkids go to, the city that I live in, the things that are being taught to my children.
[00:03:36]  I can't separate that.
[00:03:37]  So I believe in freedom, but I also believe that we have a responsibility as ministers to stand up and boldly proclaim the word of God.
[00:03:47]  If it's in the Bible, it's right.
[00:03:49]  If the Bible's clear on it, then we should be clear on it.
[00:03:52]  The Bible's clear on life.
[00:03:54]  The Bible's clear on marriage between a male and a female.
[00:03:58]  The Bible is, I believe in freedom.
[00:03:59]  I believe people should live and let live.
[00:04:01]  I'm not trying to control anybody.
[00:04:03]  I'm not mad at anybody.
[00:04:05]  But I do believe that the reason we've lost so much ground that we're taking back is because of the silence.
[00:04:15]  You know, the council culture, not only, I believe it's really a battle that's taking place for the pulpit because as the pulpit goes, so the nation goes.
[00:04:27]  That's what's happened.
[00:04:28]  It's our fault.
[00:04:29]  Let's be honest.
[00:04:30]  The churches and the preachers know deep in they sit back and watch the news and they see this girl in Georgia 45 minutes from my camp, one of my campuses who was murdered by an illegal alien who came here illegally.
[00:04:48]  Never should have been here.
[00:04:49]  Beautiful girl, amazing future, wonderful, wonderful life, and she's gone.
[00:04:57]  And how do I, as a minister, if preachers don't speak up, and again, we're not mad and angry.
[00:05:05]  We're just saying this is wrong.
[00:05:09]  Justice, justice you shall pursue.
[00:05:10]  It says in Deuteronomy.
[00:05:11]  Thank you.
[00:05:12]  Thank you.
[00:05:12]  Do justice.
[00:05:13]  And this is insanity.
[00:05:16]  And it's not just to have someone trespass into your country, to be arrested for a crime with a child and then released.
[00:05:23]  And then that same individual who has a pattern murders a college student.
[00:05:29]  It's insanity.
[00:05:30]  It's unsustainable.
[00:05:31]  And then, you know, and don't turn around and tell me because I'm a pastor, I don't love people.
[00:05:37]  Well, we built homes down on the border for other ministries to house young girls who have been trafficked and they don't have anywhere to go right now.
[00:05:50]  That's the picture right there of Lake and Riley, by the way.
[00:05:52]  Exactly.
[00:05:52]  And, you know, so we can be both, I guess is what I'm trying to say, Charlie, is we can take a stand for what is right and not back down, but at the same time have great compassion.
[00:06:02]  There are a lot of poor people and needy people, but they need to come legally.
[00:06:08]  And we are a very generous nation.
[00:06:10]  We allow millions of people to come legally.
[00:06:12]  And it's not fair to many people who have come legally.
[00:06:16]  That's right.
[00:06:17]  And it's an insult to people that have waited their turn and that have come here correctly.
[00:06:22]  And we also, as a nation, you have a right to know who's coming into your country.
[00:06:27]  And just, you know, are they someone who has a criminal background?
[00:06:30]  Are they here for the right reasons?
[00:06:31]  There's an amazing verse in Deuteronomy that cautions about if you allow foreigners into your land, they will soon become masters.
[00:06:38]  One of the last things that Moses writes in his farewell address to God's chosen people.
[00:06:44]  It is so clear to me, and it's clear to you, Jensen, but the vast majority of pastors gravitate away from even speaking out about these issues.
[00:06:53]  I'm going to ask you to speculate as to why that is.
[00:06:56]  Well, as a pastor, I know.
[00:06:58]  I mean, when I felt compelled, I felt when President Trump, I met with him, with some other leaders in Trump Tower the first time.
[00:07:11]  And I had no intentions of supporting him.
[00:07:14]  I'm very conservative.
[00:07:15]  I've always been conservative.
[00:07:16]  And I went in and I went there just like this will be a fun day.
[00:07:21]  I had the box, right?
[00:07:22]  Yeah.
[00:07:24]  And I went in and I sat there for two hours and I listened to him.
[00:07:29]  And it hit me, this man's a little different.
[00:07:32]  This man, there's something on him.
[00:07:35]  An anointing, would you use that word?
[00:07:38]  I believe it's his purpose.
[00:07:40]  I believe it is his calling.
[00:07:42]  And I know I'll get attacks when I say that.
[00:07:45]  Believe me, I've been through it.
[00:07:46]  But I had to make a decision because I reached a point where I realized if Hillary Clinton wins this election, it's probably over for my grandchildren, the America I grew up in.
[00:08:00]  That was the first consequential election.
[00:08:02]  That was the ballgame.
[00:08:04]  And that's the thing, is it's like, how do you, as a, the Bible calls a preacher who, a watchman, who's on the wall, we're supposed to look out and see encroaching danger coming.
[00:08:17]  And the Bible said, it's a dumb dog that will not bark.
[00:08:21]  He called preachers who see danger coming, who see death coming, who see disaster coming for the families behind the walls.
[00:08:32]  And he said, if you don't speak up, you're like a dumb dog that won't bark.
[00:08:36]  Wow.
[00:08:37]  It actually goes against your being authentic and being real to what you believe.
[00:08:45]  I cannot be silent when I see wrong and evil, when I see 100,000 kids.
[00:08:53]  I'm preaching funerals.
[00:08:55]  I'm a real pastor.
[00:08:56]  I go to the hospitals.
[00:08:57]  I love people.
[00:08:59]  We've got a big church and all that, but that's not who I am.
[00:09:02]  I didn't start that way.
[00:09:03]  I started with a handful of people.
[00:09:05]  And I pastor real people.
[00:09:07]  I have preached more funerals.
[00:09:10]  I get emotional about this.
[00:09:11]  I have preached more funerals in the last four to five years of fentanyl deaths, of church kids who went off to college, went off to university, and probably didn't even mean to take something.
[00:09:26]  It was just got in the wrong atmosphere, took something, and they're gone.
[00:09:33]  And it's devastating.
[00:09:34]  We could stop that.
[00:09:36]  We could do something about that.
[00:09:38]  And to me, it's a leader like Trump that's going to do that.
[00:09:42]  That's so powerful, Jensen.
[00:09:43]  And I want to just reiterate, Jensen, he's in the weeds of what it means to be a pastor.
[00:09:49]  Because sometimes it's easy to just kind of get lost when your platform gets as big as what God has given you.
[00:09:54]  My church is very multicultural, too.
[00:09:57]  And so the greatest struggle is there is a grief that you feel because when I took a stand, not for, I don't tell people who to vote for.
[00:10:08]  I don't get up and talk about Donald Trump in the pool pit.
[00:10:11]  I preach the word of God.
[00:10:13]  But what they do know is I stand strong on where the Bible is clear.
[00:10:18]  If the Bible's not clear, that's your opinion and your choice.
[00:10:23]  And even if people disagree with me, I don't have a problem with that.
[00:10:27]  But I am not, this is how I preach for 40 years.
[00:10:31]  Why would I change now because culture says it's wrong?
[00:10:35]  And, you know, in a time when a man with beards goes in on a flower dress and high heels and lipstick and sits and reads fairy tales to children in libraries, and I can't stand up and say that's wrong, that's evil to give, you know, to do surgery on an eight-year-old, a nine-year-old to change their sex.
[00:10:58]  I can't say that as a minister.
[00:11:00]  What do you mean?
[00:11:03]  You know, I'm not going to change that.
[00:11:05]  That's wrong.
[00:11:06]  God bless you.
[00:11:06]  That's evil.
[00:11:08]  That's destroying lives.
[00:11:10]  It's even worse.
[00:11:10]  I mean, some people call it good, and woe to those who call good evil and evil good.
[00:11:15]  That's where we are.
[00:11:16]  One of the most crisp teachings in the scriptures.
[00:11:20]  As we've all seen over the past few years, the amount of heavy metals, microplastics, and other toxins we are all exposed to has only increased.
[00:11:28]  These are important world issues we must continue to discuss.

[00:12:29]  So you've been doing hundreds of funerals of young, innocent kids that get caught up at a party.
[00:12:34]  Hey, take this pill, take whatever.
[00:12:37]  And they overdose on fentanyl.
[00:12:39]  We could, if we wanted to, stop that immediately.
[00:12:42]  There's no question about it.
[00:12:44]  And, you know, even beyond that, when you see the suffering of the younger generation mentally, mental illness and depression, and the generation that's lost its way, I think of the scripture in Judges, I think it's the second chapter.
[00:13:02]  And there arose another generation that knew not God or his ways.
[00:13:06]  That's the first line of Exodus, right?
[00:13:08]  Yeah.
[00:13:09]  And that's how you get tyranny.
[00:13:11]  And that's what gripped my heart when I decided to stand for what is right.
[00:13:18]  So it was not really a, but I lost hundreds of people.
[00:13:22]  I lost hundreds of people for my church for a moment.
[00:13:26]  That must have been tough.
[00:13:27]  It was very tough.
[00:13:28]  It was very tough.
[00:13:29]  It was this during 2020 or was this?
[00:13:31]  Okay.
[00:13:32]  Well, during that, but even, yeah, when Trump, when I stood with him.
[00:13:36]  You were an early guy.
[00:13:37]  When I agreed to go and lay hands on him and pray for him, Christians got mad.
[00:13:42]  In 2016?
[00:13:43]  Yes.
[00:13:43]  Oh, how dare you pray for somebody?
[00:13:45]  Exactly.
[00:13:46]  And people would ask me, why would you do that?
[00:13:49]  I said, I would do it for Hillary if she asked me.
[00:13:51]  I would do it for Joe Biden.
[00:13:53]  He wouldn't like more of a kind of, you got to try to pray for an intercession.
[00:13:57]  I'd take a bottle of oil with her.
[00:14:00]  We believe in a God of miracles.
[00:14:01]  Amen.
[00:14:02]  But it would be kind of a different fast and for it.
[00:14:04]  It'd be a different prayer.
[00:14:05]  Yeah, but you know, God loves her, and God loves, you know, I will go anywhere.
[00:14:12]  The God in me, I'll speak whatever I'm going to say to whoever I'm with.
[00:14:17]  It doesn't matter where I go.
[00:14:19]  And I'm going to speak the truth.
[00:14:21]  I'm going to stand up for what I know the Bible is clear on.
[00:14:24]  And I don't care who it is.
[00:14:26]  And that's what we're called to do.
[00:14:27]  And, you know, pastors can't sit this one out.
[00:14:30]  Pastors cannot, you know, I think it's a fear.
[00:14:36]  You ask why are pastors so hesitant?
[00:14:39]  So it is a fear.
[00:14:40]  It's a fear.
[00:14:41]  You know it's going to rock your world.
[00:14:43]  You're going to get those calls.
[00:14:44]  You're going to have families leave.
[00:14:46]  But I want to finish that story because I was one of the first ones, you know, with others that began to take a stand.
[00:14:54]  And yes, people left, but I'm going to tell you what God has, our church has exploded.
[00:14:59]  Praise God.
[00:15:00]  We don't have the room.
[00:15:01]  We've had to do another campus, another campus, another campus.
[00:15:05]  We have exploded.
[00:15:07]  Many churches have not recovered completely.
[00:15:10]  We have exceeded pre-COVID numbers way further than we've ever been.
[00:15:18]  And I believe that is a direct result of saying, you know, my responsibility is to stand with the Word of God and, you know, stand and support Israel, support, because the Bible does, support life because the Bible does, support marriage and family and the traditional family, just like the Bible does.
[00:15:37]  That doesn't mean I don't love, don't care.
[00:15:40]  We have medical buses that we buy, and they go and they do sonograms, and we pay if a girl decides to keep the baby, we pay for the child's all and the mother for a year, all their needs.
[00:15:58]  You know, you've got to have all these programs.
[00:16:00]  We've got all kinds of rehab programs and all of those things.
[00:16:05]  So we are there to heal the people, but we're also there to hold the standard.
[00:16:09]  Wow.
[00:16:11]  The response from some Christians went to go pray for Trump was.
[00:16:16]  Why would you do that?
[00:16:17]  Why are you getting involved?
[00:16:18]  We don't want our pastor to do, you know, and it was so strange because I've always done it.
[00:16:25]  It's also not biblical, but it says in Timothy, pray for your leaders in authority.
[00:16:29]  Absolutely.
[00:16:30]  Very clearly, whoever they are.
[00:16:32]  And, you know, we read these Bible stories.
[00:16:34]  Daniel was there.
[00:16:36]  Well, he fasted and prayed for his nation, too.
[00:16:38]  Exactly.

[00:17:57]  I do want to emphasize, I want to focus on one issue that I have not explored with a guest recently, but it's so important, Israel.
[00:18:04]  Yes.
[00:18:04]  You have a heart for Israel.
[00:18:06]  I do.
[00:18:06]  Talk about that.
[00:18:08]  I love Israel.
[00:18:09]  You cannot be a Christian, a real Christian, and not love Israel and not support Israel.
[00:18:16]  The Bible was written by Jews.
[00:18:18]  The whole book.
[00:18:19]  Jesus is a Jew.
[00:18:21]  Our Messiah, our Savior.
[00:18:23]  And, you know, of course, Genesis 12 and 3, I'll bless those that bless Israel.
[00:18:29]  It's repeated all throughout the Torah.
[00:18:31]  That's right.
[00:18:31]  Absolutely.
[00:18:32]  And so, you know, but does God love the Palestinians?
[00:18:37]  100% He does.
[00:18:39]  And we do all that we can to help them in every way that we can and point them to Christ.
[00:18:46]  But when it's all said and done, if America does not stand with Israel, the day that we turn our back, and we're close to it, we're close to it.
[00:18:54]  I was invited a couple weeks ago to D.C. by the ambassador of Israel to go to the embassy and watch the actual footage of the attacks from cameras.
[00:19:08]  I don't think I could watch it.
[00:19:10]  It was the most, it was the most.
[00:19:12]  I have enough darkness in my life.
[00:19:13]  I do a three-hour radio show.
[00:19:15]  I do not have the words to describe.
[00:19:19]  There was one little scene of two little boys, and I've got four, five children and five grandchildren.
[00:19:27]  Two little boys, they were in their underwear only.
[00:19:32]  They were with their dad.
[00:19:34]  The terrorists throw in a hand grenade and blow and kill the dad.
[00:19:40]  The two little kids are standing there, little boys, maybe eight, five years old.
[00:19:45]  The little brother has shrapnel in his eye, and he's crying.
[00:19:48]  His brother walks over and holds him, and the older boy's in shock, and he starts saying, Daddy's dead.
[00:19:56]  Daddy's dead.
[00:19:57]  Daddy's dead.
[00:19:59]  The terrorist comes in, walks over, opens up the refrigerator, reaches in, and starts drinking a drink and laughing.
[00:20:09]  And these two little boys, helpless little boys, are standing there.
[00:20:13]  That's why it drives me crazy when I watch the news now, the liberal news, thank God not on this network.
[00:20:19]  Amen.
[00:20:19]  But you know, how do you say Israel can't defend themselves?
[00:20:25]  How do you say they've got to put up with that?
[00:20:28]  There's no way you can deal with that kind of, and then you see everything on that video that I can't even speak of it.
[00:20:38]  I don't think I could watch it.
[00:20:39]  There is no.
[00:20:40]  It's almost like having a day of the Holocaust live streamed.
[00:20:44]  Yes.
[00:20:46]  It affected me.
[00:20:47]  I'm glad that I watched it.
[00:20:48]  So you're glad you saw it.
[00:20:50]  Yeah, and I tell you why, because it made me even more understand that that same spirit would do that to Christians, would do that to anyone who stands for freedom.
[00:21:07]  I really believe that.
[00:21:08]  That it is the spirit that is behind it.
[00:21:14]  It says destroy Israel.
[00:21:17]  Destroy the message of the gospel.
[00:21:19]  Destroy it.
[00:21:20]  Lie, steal, cheat, and destroy.
[00:21:22]  That's right.
[00:21:22]  Kill, steal, and destroy.
[00:21:24]  Yeah, John 10, 10.
[00:21:25]  I've come to give life more abundantly.
[00:21:28]  The enemy comes to lie, steal, cheat, and destroy.
[00:21:30]  So, Jensen, do you think that support for Israel is waning in Christian circles?
[00:21:37]  It doesn't feel to be as unanimous as I remember it a decade ago.
[00:21:43]  Maybe I'm wrong.
[00:21:44]  I think with the young people, I think with those from my generation, more supportive.
[00:21:49]  More support.
[00:21:51]  And that's why you're so important and this organization is so important.
[00:21:54]  That's why I believe in you.
[00:21:56]  That's why I want to do more with you because you are reaching a generation with truth.
[00:22:03]  Once, if they'll go there, one of the things the Lord laid on my heart is to start taking, I do a youth conference every year, and we'll have 12,000, 13,000 kids there.
[00:22:12]  Every year, we fill up the arena in Atlanta.
[00:22:16]  And I don't know why this has never connected, but when I saw the unbelievable support for the Hamas in our streets and in our cities when this thing happened, I found myself saying, where are we missing it?
[00:22:33]  And if we can get kids to go to Israel, it changes their life.
[00:22:37]  It changed my life.
[00:22:39]  You will never feel the same about that nation.
[00:22:42]  And I thought, you know, why don't we, instead of sending them to the beach, instead of Caba San Lucas, send them to Tel Aviv, send them to Hebron.
[00:22:49]  Exactly.
[00:22:50]  It would change their life.
[00:22:52]  They would love that nation because if you go there, it gets in your heart.
[00:22:55]  It changes everything.
