The Charlie Kirk Show - The Witch Went Down to Georgia Aired: 2023-02-22 Duration: 35:31 === Grand Jury Mock Trial (15:09) === [00:00:00] Hey everybody, today at the Charlie Kirk show, the jury four woman for the Georgia investigation into Donald Trump speaks her mind. [00:00:09] I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea. [00:00:11] And then Putin in his own words, listen to it. [00:00:14] We react and I want your thoughts. [00:00:37] Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. [00:00:39] Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. [00:00:41] I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. [00:00:44] Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. [00:00:48] I want to thank Charlie. [00:00:49] He's an incredible guy. [00:00:50] His spirit, his love of this country. [00:00:52] He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created. [00:00:57] Turning point USA. [00:00:58] We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. [00:01:07] That's why we are here. [00:01:10] Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com. [00:01:19] We got a very bizarre and strange story to explore with you today. [00:01:23] The jury for woman, who is, I guess you could say, the point of contact for the entire grand jury, being a four woman, means she swears in witnesses. [00:01:36] She's kind of not in charge, but I guess you could say that if there was a hierarchy, she would be the most important person in a grand jury. [00:01:44] She is speaking out about what we may or may not expect. [00:01:49] And she's being rather cryptic about it. [00:01:51] But instead of actually what she is saying, it's going viral and being covered all over the news today because it's her style and her cavalier spirit and her attitude is really noteworthy. [00:02:06] So I saw a clip of her this morning. [00:02:08] And as soon as I saw it, I said, oh, wow, they have a Harry Potter girl running Trump's grand jury. [00:02:14] As soon as I saw it, I have nothing against Harry Potter. [00:02:16] I think it's fine. [00:02:17] I read all the books growing up, but there is a culture that was created, especially with millennials, where they got super obsessed about Harry Potter and they talk a certain way and they giggle a certain way. [00:02:29] And I was like, that girl thinks she's a witch. [00:02:33] And we kind of had our, you know, chat about that in our conversation this morning. [00:02:39] And it turns out that my suspicion actually was totally and completely correct. [00:02:45] That we found her Pinterest page, the Harry Potter girl's Pinterest page, and she's really into witchcraft. [00:02:53] That's not an insult. [00:02:54] Well, it is an insult, but it's not me exaggerating. [00:02:57] It's not hyperbole. [00:02:58] It's a fact. [00:02:59] She's big into alchemy, crystals. [00:03:02] So literally, the jury four woman who is now going on cable television about a potential looming indictment of Donald Trump in Georgia that has mass civilizational implications is a witch. [00:03:18] I want you to listen to her. [00:03:19] As soon as I heard her tone and her attitude and quite honestly, the cringiness of her communication, I was like, this is the worst the millennial generation has to offer. [00:03:31] And yes, I know many of you have been tired of me criticizing boomers. [00:03:35] Trust me, I can criticize all generations equally. [00:03:38] And today, we're going to lean right in to the very worst that millennials have to offer. [00:03:45] And this is Exhibit A. [00:03:47] This woman, her name is Emily Kors. [00:03:50] She's the four woman. [00:03:52] And she's not a serious person. [00:03:56] Who thought it was a good idea to put her on television to give her stage time? [00:04:01] I have no idea. [00:04:02] Even CNN is in total damage control. [00:04:04] CNN is in total crisis comms right now. [00:04:07] Maybe it was just her. [00:04:08] Maybe she was just, I want to go on TV. [00:04:11] I want to be famous. [00:04:12] I'm important. [00:04:14] Woo! [00:04:15] All right, you'll hear it for yourself. [00:04:17] Let's go to, yeah, let's just start one by one. [00:04:20] Let's just listen to all. [00:04:21] Play Cut 60, Harry Potter girl on CNN. [00:04:24] One of the biggest questions remaining for everyone that wasn't in that jury room with you is how many people are in trouble here? [00:04:31] I'm hesitant to speak to something that the judge made a decision not to share. [00:04:36] Is it more than 12 people? [00:04:39] Is it more than 20 people? [00:04:41] It's not a short list. [00:04:43] Not a short list. [00:04:45] Okay. [00:04:46] More than a dozen, though, I think I'd heard you say in another interview. [00:04:49] I believe so. [00:04:51] That's probably a good assumption. [00:04:52] Continue with the giggling and the kind of self-humoring. [00:04:58] Cut 61. [00:04:59] After everything that you've seen, what would your reaction be if the DA decides against bringing any charges after what you've seen? [00:05:06] I will be sad if nothing happens. [00:05:09] Like that's, that's about my only request there is for something to happen. [00:05:15] I will be frustrated if nothing happens. [00:05:18] And if it was just a perjury charge or perjury charges, would that be acceptable to you? [00:05:23] That's fine. [00:05:24] I will be happy as long as something happens. [00:05:29] Yeah, it's really funny. [00:05:30] Someone might go to jail and have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to defend themselves. [00:05:35] But that warrants a giggle. [00:05:36] Now, maybe that was just a nervous giggle because you're in front of millions of people making a complete foulet of yourself. [00:05:41] And now we learn about her love of alchemy. [00:05:44] No joke. [00:05:45] She posts on her social media page about herbs, about casting a circle, demonic circles, how to cast spells. [00:05:53] Not a joke. [00:05:54] This is all on her social media page. [00:05:57] She actually is a witch. [00:05:58] She's into witchcraft. [00:05:59] And as soon as I saw a video of her, I said, whoa, that is someone who thinks they're Hermoni Granger. [00:06:04] Like totally. [00:06:05] Like she is LARPing on live television, live action role-playing, trying to be a serious person. [00:06:11] She just can't pull it off. [00:06:12] Yeah, listen, you want to go be a witch in Georgia? [00:06:16] Not my thing. [00:06:18] You could go into the hinterlands and go cast spells amongst your fellow friends. [00:06:21] If you're going to be a forewoman of a jury that involves a former president, you got to be a lot more serious than this. [00:06:28] This is not a joke. [00:06:30] Okay, Cut 62. [00:06:33] This is where just she continues her media tour. [00:06:35] Again, I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but if you were trying to bail Donald Trump out, this is what you would do. [00:06:44] Play Cut 62. [00:06:47] Did you personally want to hear from the former president? [00:06:49] I wanted to hear from the former president, but honestly, I kind of wanted to subpoena the former president because I got to swear everybody in. [00:06:56] And so I thought it'd be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like, do you solemnly swear? [00:07:02] And me getting to swear him in? [00:07:04] I just, I kind of just thought that would be an awesome moment. [00:07:07] I kind of thought that would be awesome. [00:07:09] Donald Trump's team can submit a motion for dismissal because of grand jury malfeasance. [00:07:15] And guess what? [00:07:16] CNN is saying exactly that. [00:07:18] Anderson Cooper is in full crisis comms. [00:07:22] CNN is deploying the spin artists and the propaganda saying, what is going on here? [00:07:27] We had this whole Georgia narrative. [00:07:28] The New York Times was platforming the Fulton County DA. [00:07:33] They had a whole puff piece on her a couple weeks ago. [00:07:36] This thing was waiting for takeoff. [00:07:38] It was ready to go. [00:07:40] And you got the Pottermore blogger saying, I really wish I could have indicted him or sworn him in because I think it would have been really great to look at him in the eyes for 60 seconds. [00:07:50] That's really creepy and weird. [00:07:54] Would you want to like vex him or put a spell on him? [00:07:57] Play cut 63, Anderson Cooper. [00:08:00] He is just, they are bringing in the crisis comms. [00:08:02] They don't know what is going on. [00:08:04] They had it ready. [00:08:04] We were finally going to indict him. [00:08:07] Hex him or vex him. [00:08:08] I'm sorry. [00:08:08] My witch vocabulary is a little rusty. [00:08:12] Play cut 63. [00:08:14] This person is talking on TV. [00:08:15] I do not understand. [00:08:16] She's clearly enjoying herself. [00:08:17] Yeah. [00:08:18] But I mean, is this responsible? [00:08:20] She was the foreperson of this grand jury. [00:08:22] This is a horrible idea. [00:08:24] And I guarantee you that prosecutors are wincing watching her go on this. [00:08:27] I was wincing just watching her eagerness to like, you know, hint at stuff. [00:08:32] It's painful in that respect. [00:08:34] This is a very serious prospect. [00:08:36] Look, the heir to the Vanderbilt family fortune, Anderson Cooper, is right over the target. [00:08:42] He knows this is bad, bad, bad, bad. [00:08:46] That if you were trying to build a serious case and not make it seem like some sort of JV operation or juvenile, you would not allow her anywhere near television. [00:08:57] So what is the purpose of all this? [00:08:59] Is she just doing this herself? [00:09:00] Is there someone that is pushing her? [00:09:02] Did someone think that she would be likable or be able to persuade people to seem as if this is a very serious investigation? [00:09:10] Her answer, I'll be sad if there are not indictments. [00:09:14] You'll be sad? [00:09:16] I'm glad you really thought to dive deep into the complexity of the English lexicon to be able to describe that. [00:09:25] But there's another, there's a deeper point here that I want to explore with you because 2024, they have tried everything they possibly can to try to derail Donald Trump, and Georgia was one of their top bets. [00:09:39] And is this now all being put into jeopardy? [00:09:46] There's a new movie coming out from the creators of I Can Only Imagine that I can't wait to see. [00:09:51] It's called Jesus Revolution. [00:09:53] It's based on the true story of Pastor Chuck Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel, in Southern California in the 1970s, and how he opened the doors of his languishing church to an unexpected group of young people looking for love and truth, hippies, and it led to the greatest faith revival in American history. [00:10:10] Again, it's called Jesus Revolution, and it's got a great cast. [00:10:13] Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roomy, Who We All Love in The Chosen, and Kelsey Grammer. [00:10:18] It's rated PG-13 for some drug use, being authentic to the time. [00:10:22] So some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. [00:10:26] Jesus Revolution will be in theaters everywhere beginning February 24th. [00:10:29] You've got to see it. [00:10:30] For tickets and showtimes, go to jesusrevolution.movie. [00:10:34] That is jesusrevolution.movie. [00:10:39] We have this new jury for woman that's going on. [00:10:42] Look, and I said this half kiddingly, but it's possible that the grand jury does not have the goods on Trump and they're deploying her as kind of the first salvo of the sabotage campaign of their own work. [00:10:57] It's possible. [00:10:58] I mean, I think that's very unlikely. [00:11:00] It requires a lot of moving pieces, including getting the Harry Potter girl to play along. [00:11:06] But let's play this right here. [00:11:08] CNN says that, look, this is a prosecutor's nightmare. [00:11:11] What is she doing on television? [00:11:14] Why is she talking? [00:11:15] Why is she opening her mouth? [00:11:16] Why is she doing any of this? [00:11:17] Play cut 64. [00:11:18] We're talking about potentially a former president for the first time in this nation's history. [00:11:22] She does not seem to be taking that very seriously. [00:11:24] There's no reason for her to be out talking. [00:11:26] No, there's a right. [00:11:27] It's a prosecutor's nightmare. [00:11:29] Mark my words. [00:11:30] Donald Trump's team is going to make a motion if there's an indictment to dismiss that indictment based on grand jury impropriety. [00:11:36] She's not supposed to be talking about anything, really, but she's really not supposed to be talking about the deliberations. [00:11:41] She's talking about what specific witnesses they saw, what the grand jury thought of them. [00:11:45] She says some of them we found credible, some of them we found funny. [00:11:48] I don't know why that's relevant, but she's been saying we found this guy funny or interesting. [00:11:52] I think she's potentially crossing a line here. [00:11:54] It's going to be a real problem for prosecutors. [00:11:56] And she finds it funny. [00:11:57] It's like lighthearted. [00:11:58] Yeah, you know, people might be able to go to jail for the rest of their life or for five years and have to spend a ton of money defending themselves. [00:12:04] This is humorous to her. [00:12:06] And this is the lead of the grand jury. [00:12:08] This is not just some random member. [00:12:10] Now, look, some people, you're emailing me freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:12:13] Oh, Charlie, lay off of her. [00:12:15] This is unfair. [00:12:16] Look, I would say that if she didn't decide to just put her face on cable television and to make her now the personification of this entire political witch hunt. [00:12:32] Witch hunt. [00:12:34] And so, what is the case that they potentially might have? [00:12:37] Well, they're saying that Donald Trump had a phone call to try and demand more votes from Brad Rauffensberger, saying that I need 12,000 more, 11,000 more votes, or something like that. [00:12:53] It's a very weak case, honestly. [00:12:56] However, if you were to try to make it seem very serious, who in charge is actually deploying this person out there? [00:13:06] There's a couple theories here, which is she just might be going rogue. [00:13:10] It also makes you wonder if the process of selecting jurors are skewed or corrupted in some way. [00:13:17] I mean, don't they do background checks? [00:13:21] I mean, should someone who is engaged in witchcraft probably not be the person you put on CNN? [00:13:28] Not an exaggeration, not hyperbole. [00:13:33] You go look at her Pinterest. [00:13:34] She's into alchemy. [00:13:35] She's into herbs. [00:13:36] She's into casting spells, all sorts of really goofy and bizarre stuff. [00:13:42] And we find all this info, by the way, in just a couple hours. [00:13:46] We put this all together and we put this information there. [00:13:48] So now the Georgia district attorney is going to have to make a decision whether or not to press charges against Trump and these people, with her being the spokesperson. [00:14:00] And this is the kind of person proudly serving as the forewoman of many of our juries today. [00:14:05] I just want to reiterate this. [00:14:06] Juries are, you know, allegedly random selections of people. [00:14:09] There is some judge bias where they could decide to dismiss people and retain people, but you have a lot of people that believe this. [00:14:18] You get a random sampling of America, you're going to get a random sampling of witches. [00:14:23] It's not a comfortable truth for a lot of people. [00:14:26] But we should be very clear: this case is a weak case against Donald Trump. [00:14:32] I think it should be immediately dismissed, and this whole grand jury should be suspended and terminated. [00:14:38] However, it's not the weakest of all of the witch hunts that they've tried to throw at Trump. [00:14:46] But if you were trying to build the most serious case against Trump, you would have this person as far away from this as possible. [00:14:54] Instead, she's saying, I think it would be fun to subpoena him and swear him in, as if this is some sort of mock trial in seventh grade. [00:15:02] It'd be fun. [00:15:05] Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this. === Strong Cell Anti-Aging Enzyme (02:14) === [00:15:09] I have never experienced anything quite like the new Strong Cell product. [00:17:47] How about this? [00:17:48] Where it's not widely accepted to be a witch. [00:17:52] I just think that if you want to say, Charlie, nothing should be stigmatized. [00:17:55] Yeah, actually, I think if you're into witchcraft, you should be stigmatized. [00:18:00] Not really into Tarot cards or the drawing of circles or hermeticism or alchemy, paganism. [00:18:07] Not really. [00:18:08] I don't think that creates for a healthy society. [00:18:12] Ouija boards. [00:18:15] And by the way, I do think some things should be stigmatized in addition. [00:18:19] I don't know. [00:18:20] Like pornography presented to kids in textbooks and general mutilation. [00:18:25] There's got to be some standards. [00:18:27] Okay. [00:18:28] Some people are emailing us, Charlie, don't make fun of witches. [00:18:31] They have a lot of power. [00:18:32] That's not true. [00:18:32] They do not have a lot of power, but they do have some. [00:18:36] If they're really into it, I do believe there's some very dark spiritual implications and dynamics here. [00:18:42] And look, I've encountered witches before. [00:18:44] When I was once speaking, this is not a joke. [00:18:46] When I was once speaking at Legacy Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the land of enchantment, which is, in my opinion, the most outwardly pagan state remaining in America. [00:18:57] A lot of great Christians, but there's a lot of weird witchcraft that happens in New Mexico. [00:19:02] I spoke at Steve Smotherman's church and I was talking about how I believe marriage was between one man and one woman. [00:19:07] This was back in July of 2021. [00:19:10] I'm not making a word of this up. [00:19:11] Mikey could tell attest to this. [00:19:13] Our whole team can. [00:19:14] And three witches came up and they started saying stuff at me. [00:19:17] And maybe it was a coincidence. [00:19:18] Maybe it wasn't, but I got super sick right after that. [00:19:22] Again, maybe it's just a coincidence. [00:19:23] Who knows? [00:19:23] Maybe you think it's all a bunch of horse pucky and all that. [00:19:27] But that was pretty chilling. [00:19:30] And so they came into the church. [00:19:33] And by the way, Steve Smotherman, great friend in Albuquerque, tells me they have witches that come into their church all the time. [00:19:40] And you might think it's all a bunch of nonsense and it's all just a bunch of vapor. [00:19:43] Or you might think that there's actually a spiritual war playing out. [00:19:46] Obviously, I believe that those unclean spirits are subservient to truth, to Christ, and to the one God, but we will put that at bay. [00:19:59] By the way, there's a lot of new age centers in the American Southwest. [00:20:02] Sedona has a lot of that kind of energy up there: crystals, palm reading, tarot cards, all that sort of stuff. [00:20:08] Same in New Mexico and Albuquerque. [00:20:10] And by the way, some of you in our audience are saying, well, Charlie, I do those things and I'm fine. [00:20:13] Okay, great. [00:20:14] Terrific. [00:20:14] Be careful with that. [00:20:15] Those things can be portals into some really dark things. [00:20:18] And I hope you know what you're doing because I stay far away from that stuff. [00:20:21] Okay, let's shift gears from the witch that is trying to indict Trump allegedly. [00:20:26] Okay, so we're going to do something we're not allowed to do. [00:20:29] And we're going to do this with intentionality and with fairness and call balls and strikes. [00:20:34] We are getting very close to be involved in a kinetic war, American troops on the ground. === Putin Ukraine Speech (14:50) === [00:20:40] We are stumbling towards that because of what's happening in Ukraine. [00:20:44] And basically, the premise of this entire thing is that Vladimir Putin is a madman. [00:20:50] He is Hitler reincarnate. [00:20:53] And we must do everything we possibly can because if he takes eastern Ukraine, he'll take all of Ukraine and then he'll take Poland and then he'll take Germany. [00:21:00] And then before you know it, Vladimir Putin will be sipping sherry in Lisbon, Portugal, and we'll never be able to visit Europe again. [00:21:08] That's effectively the argument, right? [00:21:10] Domino theory: the man who can barely take over Ukraine is soon going to be colonizing Spanish wine country. [00:21:21] So Vladimir Putin just delivered a state of the union address to the Russian people. [00:21:25] It's two hours long, and I think it's really interesting. [00:21:28] Now, again, I do not think highly of Vladimir Putin at all. [00:21:33] However, I think every American deserves to know what the heck the person we're supposed to hate is saying to his people. [00:21:41] So we thought it was worth listening to this. [00:21:43] It's two hours again. [00:21:45] What is the Russian leader saying to the Russian people about this war? [00:21:49] Now, does it mean that everything in this speech is true? [00:21:52] No, there's a lot of falsehoods in this speech. [00:21:54] I think there's a lot of exaggerations. [00:21:56] There's a lot of hyperbole, and there's flat-out lies. [00:21:59] But there's also things in this speech that are true that I think you should hear. [00:22:03] But it's a good guideline to be able to go through the actual speech and say, is this worth going to war against him? [00:22:14] What is his motivating factor? [00:22:16] Is he nothing more than a frenetic madman? [00:22:19] Is this something that we could have negotiated peace over? [00:22:22] Again, I am not a supporter of a lot of what Vladimir Putin does. [00:22:27] I want to live in a free society. [00:22:29] I think dissidents should be able to speak freely in the public square. [00:22:32] I don't think political opponents should be put in prison. [00:22:34] I don't think of any of those things. [00:22:35] I think there's a lot of problems with Putin, obviously. [00:22:38] But I also don't think that, A, it's our business, nor do we have the ability, nor do I think that it's in our best interest to saber-rattle of every dictator or leader that does something wrong. [00:22:53] I don't support poisoning political opponents or disappearing them. [00:22:56] Obviously, I could go through the exhaustive list of that. [00:22:59] But it's also a fact that Russia could be very helpful as a neutralized country against the true enemy, the Chinese Communist Party. [00:23:10] And a good lesson of history is that you do not need to finance conflicts against every leader that might not fit perfectly into the Western tradition of constitutional governance. [00:23:24] Putin certainly doesn't. [00:23:26] He's a gangster. [00:23:27] So what is he saying to his people? [00:23:28] Now, just to reiterate, even playing this speech, I'm going to get attacked from every direction. [00:23:34] How dare you play Putin's speech? [00:23:35] How dare you? [00:23:36] You deserve to know. [00:23:38] Your government is financing a proxy war anywhere between $100 to $200 billion. [00:23:45] That could involve U.S. troops. [00:23:47] Joe Biden was just there. [00:23:49] So you deserve to know. [00:23:50] What is Putin saying to his people? [00:23:52] Is he just a madman, a megalomaniac? [00:23:54] Okay, let's start. [00:23:55] Let's go piece by piece. [00:23:56] We have Putin's speech broken into pieces. [00:23:58] We're going to give you our take on it. [00:24:01] Let's play Cut 51. [00:24:02] Putin begins his speech. [00:24:04] The goal of the West is unbridled power. [00:24:06] He is attacking and criticizing the West. [00:24:08] Play Cut 51. [00:24:09] The goal of the West is unbridled power. [00:24:12] They have already spent more than $150 billion to supply weapons to the Kiev regime. [00:24:18] Just compare, according to the Economic Operation and Development Organization to help the poorest countries in the world. [00:24:24] G7 allocated in 2020 and 2021 some $60 billion. [00:24:31] And they are not stopping this flow of money to support war. [00:24:35] And they are spending more money on coup in the other countries all across the world. [00:24:41] Okay, so I think it's a little unfair, but I think it's in his best interest, obviously, to misrepresent the West as a whole. [00:24:47] There's plenty of people in the West that find this war to be insane and egregious. [00:24:52] And quite honestly, I think most Americans are in that space. [00:24:56] $150 billion. [00:24:57] Yeah, that's about right. [00:24:58] So he is telling the truth in that regard. [00:25:00] It could be upwards of $200 billion. [00:25:02] Now, he says that the goal of the West is unbridled power. [00:25:06] That's his take. [00:25:08] I do think that some of the leaders of NATO want to expand NATO and to strengthen their hold on the kind of North Atlantic treaty organization project. [00:25:19] So, I mean, there's some things that I think are misrepresented there, but let's play Cut 52. [00:25:23] Putin talking about how Western leaders do not care about the Ukrainian neo-Nazis. [00:25:28] Is it true that neo-Nazis are serving in the Ukrainian military? [00:25:33] Play Cut 52. [00:25:34] Neo-Nazis, they are not even hiding who they consider themselves. [00:25:39] It's astonishing that no one in the West is noticing this, taking notice of this. [00:25:44] Why? [00:25:44] Because they do not care. [00:25:47] They don't care about who to place a bat on when it comes to fighting Russia, fighting us. [00:25:54] The main thing is that they are waging war against us, against Russia, and that means they need to use everyone. [00:26:01] Terrorists, neo-Nazis, devil if they have to. [00:26:06] All right. [00:26:07] So it is a fact that there are neo-Nazis that are fighting in the Azov battalion in Zelensky's effort. [00:26:15] However, Putin is way over-exaggerating this. [00:26:19] That's not a majority of Ukrainian forces. [00:26:21] That's not a majority of Ukrainian leaders. [00:26:23] It is a single battalion, but it is true. [00:26:26] So he's taking something that is factually true and way overblowing. [00:26:30] Now, why would Putin do that? [00:26:32] Well, because Russians have no love of anything Nazi. [00:26:39] Anything that is even close to German Nazi symbolism or imagery. [00:26:44] That's a good way to animate your homeland for good reason because Hitler almost took over Mother Russia, got awfully close, got within, what, Blake would know, 30 miles of Moscow. [00:26:55] I think that almost took over Stalingrad in one of the most brutal battles ever. [00:27:00] It was at 10 miles from Moscow. [00:27:01] Oh my gosh, it's amazing. [00:27:02] So yeah, as soon as Putin uses Nazi imagery, not Nazi imagery, but that word, yes, he's going to get more support in the homeland, but he is overexaggerating it. [00:27:13] Putin is overblowing a factual element of what's happening in Ukraine. [00:27:17] Okay, 53, Putin says they're suppressing freedom of thought in their own countries. [00:27:22] That's really rich coming from him, but play cut 53. [00:27:25] They are suppressing freedom of thought in their own countries. [00:27:28] They try to distract around people from the corruption scandals because we can all see it on the screens on television from growing inner social, international, and other kind of problems. [00:27:44] So I'm not exactly sure what Putin is talking about here. [00:27:48] Again, the lack of self-awareness makes me chuckle. [00:27:51] Putin is not exactly someone who can claim a moral high ground on freedom of thought with political dissidents being poisoned and put into prison. [00:28:00] So he should probably sit that one out. [00:28:03] But is it true that in Western countries, freedom of thought is being suppressed? [00:28:07] Yeah, that actually is true. [00:28:09] And again, so he's not exactly, why don't you look in the mirror, man? [00:28:15] But at the same time, for Putin to say the West does not allow freedom of expression and thought is completely true. [00:28:21] Just look at the Twitter files. [00:28:23] Just look at what Facebook and Google have done. [00:28:24] Just look at the suppression of thought through our own social media companies. [00:28:28] Now, for him to say that to the Russian people, they're probably like, well, we're not allowed to speak out against you. [00:28:33] You as an American taxpayer, the funder and hopeful, and God forbid we ever send troops there. [00:28:39] I hope that doesn't happen. [00:28:40] You have a right to know who you're supposed to hate. [00:28:44] You have a right to know what your enemy is saying, your enemy is saying. [00:28:48] And the media doesn't like this. [00:28:51] They're going to come after this program right here. [00:28:52] You can't play the speech. [00:28:53] You're a Russian agent. [00:28:55] No, actually, I'm an American patriot. [00:28:56] And I don't want our servicemen to go die for some silly family dispute 5,000 miles away. [00:29:01] I think information is power here. [00:29:06] I want to tell you guys about COVID tax relief. [00:29:09] COVID tax relief is an amazing service that exists for you because of Washington, D.C.'s addiction to overspending. [00:29:17] Again, I'm not a fan that this money exists or that's out there or that it's available, but as they say, it is what it is. [00:29:24] Look, COVIDTaxRelief.org got a small retail business, almost $80,000. [00:29:29] COVIDTaxRelief.org got a manufacturing business, nearly $250,000. [00:29:33] COVIDTaxRelief.org got a large distribution business, almost $900,000. [00:29:37] If you run a business, church or nonprofit, and paid your employees through all or part of the pandemic, you could qualify for up to $26,000 per employee through the Government Cares Act. [00:29:47] COVIDTaxRelief.org receives a low commission, very reasonable, only after you receive the money. [00:29:52] So go to covidtaxrelief.org. [00:29:53] That is covidtaxrelief.org, covidtaxrelief.org. [00:29:58] Check it out right now, covidtaxrelief.org. [00:30:03] Cut 55, Putin talks about the West waging information war as it can't defeat Russia on the battlefield. [00:30:11] That's not totally true, but play cut 55. [00:30:14] It cannot ignore the fact that Russia cannot be defeated on the battlefield. [00:30:17] So they're waging increasingly aggressive information attacks. [00:30:21] First of all, targeting the young generations, lying on every step, distorting historical truth, attacking our culture, the Russian Orthodox Church, and other traditional religious institutions in our country. [00:30:35] So not exactly sure all of what he's mentioning here. [00:30:38] The West is waging information war, but if you're at war, that's kind of normal. [00:30:42] And we'll see. [00:30:44] Look, in the next 90 days, we'll actually learn how strong the Russian military is. [00:30:49] Putin is mobilizing 300 to 500,000 people to the front lines of Ukraine. [00:30:53] We're going to see. [00:30:54] Is it true that you guys have a strong army or not? [00:30:57] So far, it's been pushing to an extent and a stalemate. [00:31:01] We will find out. [00:31:02] Play cut 56, Putin says, look what they're doing to their own people. [00:31:05] They're destroying the institution of the family and their cultural historical identity. [00:31:11] Interesting. [00:31:11] Play cut 56. [00:31:13] Now, look at what they're doing with their own peoples. [00:31:16] They're destroying the institution of family, their cultural and historical identity, and various perversions with regard to children up to pedophilia are accepted as the new norm. [00:31:28] And priests are forced to recognize and officiate same-sex weddings. [00:31:34] Now, this is a little bit of a distraction. [00:31:36] What he is saying is obviously true, but it's rather irrelevant to the conflict in Ukraine. [00:31:43] He's doing this to create a villain abroad to say, look how degenerate the West has become. [00:31:49] They're mutilating children. [00:31:51] They got all this trans stuff. [00:31:53] We are going to be the defenders of the family. [00:31:55] We are going to be the defenders of the tradition of monogamous marriages and against kind of this huge gay marriage movement across the world. [00:32:11] That really, in my opinion, is a distraction from why did you invade Ukraine and why are you trying to still take land in Ukraine? [00:32:20] But Putin is trying to frame this using social issues. [00:32:25] And as leader of Russia, it's rather in his interest to do that as a dictator because that's one of the things that can animate the continuation of the war. [00:32:36] Look at them. [00:32:36] They have gay pride flags at embassies. [00:32:38] We're the defenders of the family. [00:32:41] It's a very powerful, powerful one-liner there. [00:32:45] Okay, this is not true. [00:32:47] What he says here, play cut 57. [00:32:49] People can live however they want. [00:32:52] And we in Russia have never intruded into people's private life. [00:32:57] And we're not going to do that. [00:32:59] But what we want to say is maybe they should take a look in the scripture into the holy book. [00:33:06] It says that the family is a union between woman and man. [00:33:10] And these holy texts are now being increasingly doubted in the West. [00:33:16] The Anglican Church is now considering the idea of a gender-neutral God. [00:33:23] What can we say? [00:33:24] God forgive them. [00:33:25] They don't know what they're doing. [00:33:28] We have said for quite some time, and the media has ridiculed us, that the proxy war in Ukraine is a proxy war in some ways over social liberalism in the West and social conservatism from Russia. [00:33:42] That's not the only dynamic there, but that is certainly an emphasis that Putin makes to his people as a reason to continue the war. [00:33:52] Putin says you could do whatever you want. [00:33:54] He says, what? [00:33:55] You can do what you wish. [00:33:56] People can live however they want in Russia. [00:33:58] That's not true. [00:33:59] They ban a lot of, let's just say, gay actors and gay scenes and movies and stuff and such. [00:34:09] So that's not totally true. [00:34:11] Let's end with Cut 59 and I'll give you final thoughts. [00:34:14] Play Cut 59. [00:34:15] And we will continue to work with our partners on creating a sustainable and safe system of international settlements that would be independent from dollar and other Western reserve currencies. [00:34:29] Because with these policies by the Western elites and Western leaders, it will lose its universal role. [00:34:36] With their own hands, they are doing this. [00:34:39] They're decreasing the settlements in dollars and other so-called universal currencies. [00:34:45] So after listening to the two-hour speech of Vladimir Putin, at least my conclusion is this is not a good person, but it's not someone that I think we should be doing a proxy war against. [00:34:55] Peace could have been negotiated easily. [00:34:59] He's trying to make himself seem a lot more powerful than he really is, but this is not a good fight for the United States. [00:35:07] I encourage you to listen to him in his own words and ask yourself the question, are you willing to have your grandchild potentially die fighting in a war against Russia? [00:35:16] Thanks so much for listening, everybody. [00:35:18] Email me your thoughts as always freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:35:22] Thank you so much for listening and God bless.
