[00:01:30] Senator Ron Johnson, who is a fabulous United States senator, is courageous and bold and brave and fights for the right issues, is in a very contentious reelection fight right now in Wisconsin, and he needs all of our support. [00:01:43] The website to support him directly, because people always ask, is ronjohnsonforsenate.com. [00:01:48] We're going there this weekend with Turning Point Action with Governor DeSantis in Green Bay. [00:01:53] If you guys want to attend, it's tpaction.com slash DeSantis. [00:01:57] And joining us right now is Senator Ron Johnson. [00:02:00] Senator, welcome back to the program. [00:02:02] Hello, Charlie. [00:02:02] First of all, congratulations on the birth of your daughter. [00:02:05] Oh, thank you. [00:02:05] Life-changing event, huh? [00:02:07] Amen. [00:02:08] It changes everything. [00:02:09] Very positive. [00:02:10] Positive life-changing event. [00:02:12] Thank you. [00:02:12] Thank you. [00:02:13] Congratulations. [00:02:14] Appreciate that, Senator. [00:02:15] And it gives me a whole nother level of what I am fighting for. [00:02:18] And everyone tells you ahead of time, boy, it's going to change your life. [00:02:21] And that is an understatement. [00:02:23] When you really feel it, it's beyond reason and comprehension. [00:02:27] So, Senator, give us an update with your race here. [00:02:29] You're running against a very radical candidate who has said some wild stuff. [00:02:34] Talk about your race, please. [00:02:37] I'm running against a radical leftist hiding in sheep's clothing, which is what they're all trying to do here. [00:02:43] But he's on record saying, as you say, some pretty outlandish things. [00:02:47] He thinks the founding of America was awful. [00:02:49] He's implied that our national parks are racist. [00:02:53] He's the guy that authored the bill in the state assembly didn't pass, but he supports this, allowing criminals out with no bail. [00:03:01] He's part of the Evers Barnes administration. [00:03:04] Their goal was to release 50% of Wisconsin's prisoners. [00:03:10] He says that reducing the prison population is sexy. [00:03:15] And so they haven't quite got to 50. [00:03:18] They've gone to 15%. [00:03:21] 884 individuals. [00:03:24] 44 of those were child rapists. [00:03:27] 270 were criminals that either committed and they mainly committed or attempted murder. [00:03:34] You have to also recognize the fact that it's the Longshot Christmas Parade massacre. [00:03:39] The perpetrator there was let out on low bail. [00:03:42] And he's doubled down on these radical ideas. [00:03:44] So he's a dangerous person if you put him in public office in the United States Senate. [00:03:50] And so I'm working my tail off. [00:03:52] The advantage I have here, Charlie, is all we have to do is tell the truth about him. [00:03:56] We obviously are getting no help from the mainstream media who, just like Joe Biden, they're covering up for him. [00:04:01] He's hiding, maybe not in a basement, but he's not answering questions from the media. [00:04:06] But, you know, I finally got him as an opponent mid-August. [00:04:10] So now we are getting the truth out. [00:04:12] And I think the change in the polls was pretty remarkable. [00:04:14] I'm taking nothing for granted, but I did appreciate the news on Wednesday that the NRSC poll had me four points up. [00:04:23] The Marquette poll even remarkably had me one point up, but it's a dog fight. [00:04:27] It's dead even. [00:04:28] I will need help and support. [00:04:29] Ron Johnson from Senate.com. [00:04:31] Now's not the time to relax at all, and I'm not going to because we have to keep this radical leftist out of the United States Senate. [00:04:38] Look, Senator Johnson is at the top of my list of someone who has done what he said he was going to do, and he campaigns hard. [00:04:44] He represents the people of Wisconsin. [00:04:46] He has been on the leading charge of all the important fights in Washington, D.C. Senator, can you talk about how your opponent will likely vote to lift the filibuster? [00:04:54] Will be just another vote for what we have seen of this radical agenda. [00:04:58] 87,000 new IRS agents. [00:05:00] I think it's important for people to realize that, you know, these candidates, they sometimes disguise their beliefs and all of that. [00:05:06] But if elected, he will just be another Schumer puppet for Green New Deal, electoral college abolition, adding new states. [00:05:13] Talk about how critical it is that we hold this Senate race. [00:05:17] And he's receiving a lot of outside money, isn't he? [00:05:21] Oh, you know, they've spent at least $65 million. [00:05:24] The left hates dark money until they're using it to lie about somebody, to assassinate somebody's character. [00:05:30] But no, it's not likely. [00:05:31] He will certainly vote to end the filibuster. [00:05:35] That's one of his primary campaign planks. [00:05:37] That's how radical this guy is. [00:05:40] So, no, he will certainly do that. [00:05:42] And, of course, he supports all of Biden's disastrous policies. [00:05:46] Open borders. [00:05:47] He thinks illegal immigrants should get driver's licenses. [00:05:51] They should get in-state tuition here in Wisconsin. [00:05:54] He likes all the spending that has sparked four-year high inflation. [00:05:58] He supports the Green New Deal. [00:06:00] He supports Medicare for all, which Charlie, you know, that's Medicare for none. [00:06:03] That's right. [00:06:04] It abolishes Medicare. [00:06:06] It abolishes, eliminates all private health care, and even doubling your taxes when paid for it. [00:06:12] So this is, he supports all these radical ideas. [00:06:16] He's, of course, endorsed by AOC and by Bernie Sanders and by Elizabeth Warren, the radical leftists in Washington, D.C. [00:06:23] So, again, we know who he is, but the media's not telling us, and he's not telling us either. [00:06:29] He's not being honest. [00:06:30] He runs these little cutesy ads, makes them look just nice and fuzzy and warm and just moderate. [00:06:35] He's no moderate. [00:06:36] He's a radical leftist. [00:06:37] That's well said. [00:06:38] It's Ron Johnson for Senate.com. [00:06:40] Senator, can you talk about this unprecedented expansion of IRS agents, 87,000 new IRS agents that will assuredly be deployed on middle-class workers in Wisconsin? [00:06:49] One of the things that I think makes you such an effective senator is you spent 30 years in the private sector. [00:06:54] You built a business in manufacturing. [00:06:56] You ran in what was once considered to be a long shot campaign. [00:06:59] In fact, twice you've upended the polls and you've really built a name for yourself in Wisconsin that is considerable. [00:07:05] But again, I don't know the personal biography of your opponent, but I can't imagine he spent 30 years in the private sector actually working with his hands and building something of consequence. [00:07:13] Talk about the 87,000 new IRS agents and then talk a little about your biography and contrast that with probably the lack of one from your opponent. [00:07:22] Well, the good news, if we do gain control over the Senate and the House, I think we can pass a standalone bill to rescind that with 87,000 IRS agents. [00:07:32] And I'd have a hard time thinking Democrats would vote against that. [00:07:35] I think they'd realize at that point in time there's a huge political blunder. [00:07:39] So that's something we actually can reverse. [00:07:41] In terms of comparison, there is no comparison. [00:07:43] I don't think he ever had a job in the private sector. [00:07:46] He might have had a part-time job or so. [00:07:48] He's been a political activist ever since he left college. [00:07:51] Why did about the fact that he got a diploma? [00:07:53] Magically, he ended up getting one. [00:07:54] By the way, his degree is in communications specializing in performance. [00:07:59] So as a performer, he's probably pretty good performer. [00:08:02] In politics, I guess you have to sell a lot. [00:08:04] He's probably pretty good at that. [00:08:06] He is good at that. [00:08:07] Versus me, I lived a full life. [00:08:10] I worked 40 years in the private sector, got my first tax paying job at the age of 15, started working full-time at the age of 17, worked full-time going through college, didn't have debt, ended up with $7,000 in the bank. [00:08:22] I started a manufacturing plant, ran it for 30 years. [00:08:25] I understand it. [00:08:26] We didn't export jobs to China. [00:08:28] We exported plastic to China. [00:08:31] And so, you know, I am, I think, what I certainly want in an elected official, somebody who has led a full life, has experience in the private sector, so they understand it, they have sympathy for it, and then step up the plate and offer yourself for public services. [00:08:47] It's why I'm the guy in public and tax reform where we were only going to cut taxes for the 5% of American businesses, the C-Corps. [00:08:55] I'm the guy that raised my hand and dug my heels and said, no, you've got to make sure that the other 95%. [00:09:02] And of course, that's being used against me. [00:09:04] Like, it's kind of special deal. [00:09:05] No, 20 million tax filers took advantage of my tax cut. [00:09:09] So many have come up to me and said, Senator, without your tax cut, I would not have survived the pandemic. [00:09:14] I championed right to try, which is saving people's lives even under COVID. [00:09:19] And we've got a great program in inner city Milwaukee called the Joseph Project, which is transforming people's lives by getting them good-paying jobs in manufacturing in the private sector. [00:09:29] So, no, there's no comparison. [00:09:31] He's a political activist. [00:09:32] That's all he's ever done. [00:09:34] I know his mom worked, his dad worked, that's great. [00:09:37] But other than working in campaigns and working for a mayor's office, I don't think he ever had a job in the private sector or maybe a short part-time one. [00:09:47] Yeah, and so I've been misquoted when I said the guys like Obama and some people, so I always compliment him. [00:09:52] Oh, no, no, no. [00:09:54] It's someone who is very slick maybe and runs these ads, but doesn't actually do anything and won't represent the people of Wisconsin. [00:10:01] I have so much faith in the good people of Wisconsin. [00:10:03] They are decent, hardworking people. [00:10:05] Senator, you're running a fabulous campaign. [00:10:08] We're going to see you this Sunday in Green Bay. [00:10:09] People can check it out. [00:10:10] tpaction.com slash DeSantis. [00:10:13] And I just want to make a plea. [00:10:15] I don't do this often. [00:10:16] Ron Johnsonforsenate.com. [00:10:18] Senator Johnson fights for all of you, but especially the great people of Wisconsin. [00:10:22] Senator, thank you for your time. [00:10:23] We're behind you, and we'll see you Sunday. [00:10:25] Yeah, see you Sunday. [00:10:26] Looking forward to it. [00:10:27] Take care. [00:10:27] Thank you. [00:10:31] If you want to know what the left's real plan is for your kids, just look at how they react to the wonderful company of Patriot Mobile. [00:10:39] I use Patriot Mobile and you should too. [00:10:41] Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative cell phone provider. [00:10:45] This is because they take a portion of your bill and fund conservative causes and candidates who believe in sanctity of life, freedom of speech, the Second Amendment, and they're winning. [00:10:54] Patriot Mobile is amazing. [00:10:55] They have affordable plans for you, your family, even your business. [00:10:59] They offer the same nationwide coverage as the major carriers because they use multiple major networks. [00:11:04] Plus, you're supporting conservative values with every call. [00:11:07] Go to patriotmobile.com slash Charlie or call 972 Patriot. [00:11:10] Get free activation with the offer code Charlie. [00:11:13] Special discounts are also available for veterans and first responders. [00:11:17] That's patriotmobile.com slash Charlie. [00:11:19] Join our movement, make the switch today, and make a difference tomorrow. [00:11:22] PatriotMobile.com slash Charlie. [00:11:24] That is patriotmobile.com slash Charlie or call 972 Patriot, patriotmobile.com slash Charlie. [00:11:34] Keep the pressure on. [00:11:35] We're starting to see a little bit of a change here, especially those of us that look at the news and look at the polling, looking at the trends day to day today. === Supporting Conservative Values (06:23) === [00:11:43] You can start to see a boiling point being reached. [00:11:46] And we had some very serious concerns about a red wave about a month or two ago when Democrats seemed to have a surge in support. [00:11:52] A lot of their summer fundraising went extremely well, and Dobbs was helpful to them in the moment. [00:11:59] But it seems as if Election Day being in November 8th, they might have gotten too hot too quick. [00:12:06] Inflation, crime, immigration, which, of course, DeSantis and Abbott are beautifully highlighting, all these things together, and we're starting to see our candidates increasingly get on message. [00:12:17] So let me kind of complete the plug for Senator Johnson before I go into kind of this deeper point of how I think our candidates are getting on message and Democrats are starting to notice it. [00:12:27] If you have any doubts about Senator Johnson, let me highlight two things. [00:12:31] Number one, Senator Johnson is leading the charge and has been leading the charge on uncovering all the Biden corruption. [00:12:41] He has been the guy looking into all the barisma stuff. [00:12:44] Johnson has been on an island on so much of this stuff. [00:12:47] That's number one. [00:12:48] Number two, the thing that really showed me who Senator Johnson was was just how he was willing to ask questions and try to draw facts and data together and host an elite group of scientists and doctors to find out what was going on with the vaccine, why are we mandating it, what other treatments are available for the Chinese coronavirus? [00:13:09] Dr. Malone, Pierre Corey, Dr. McCullough, that was Senator Ron Johnson. [00:13:14] So if that issue means something to you, medical totalitarianism, the fusion of corporate interests with government interests, Rand Paul, who's also in cycle, but he's going to win, and Senator Ron Johnson were easily the two most courageous senators on that issue, period. [00:13:34] And what really gave me just a conviction in my spirit to help Senator Johnson however I can is that Senator Johnson was in the midst of a very difficult race. [00:13:47] He still is. [00:13:48] He knew that it was going to be well funded, and he still leaned in and hosted Dr. Malone, Dr. McCullough, asked questions about mRNA technology. [00:13:56] Again, just asking questions, but hosting that venue in the building of the United States Senate. [00:14:01] That's a big deal. [00:14:02] Senator Johnson very well could have been like, guys, can we do this after the election? [00:14:06] But he leaned in. [00:14:09] That means a lot. [00:14:10] That should really tell you who Senator Johnson is. [00:14:12] He did not have to do that. [00:14:14] And if you ask any of the A-team, you ask Pierre Corey, you ask Dr. Malone, you say, hey, who was the most helpful legislative contact that you had in the federal government? [00:14:24] It was Senator Ron Johnson, period. [00:14:27] He's a fabulous man. [00:14:29] I've known him casually here and there, meaning he spoke at our first turning point event in Madison back in 2013. [00:14:34] He's an awesome senator. [00:14:35] 100% endorsement. [00:14:36] We got to get him across the finish line. [00:14:38] How many Republicans just kind of turned a blind eye on all that medical totalitarianism and tyranny? [00:14:43] How many? [00:14:44] It's a long list. [00:14:46] Senator Johnson leaned in with courage and with clarity, and he wanted to get to the truth. [00:14:50] So that's Ron Johnson for Senate.com. [00:14:54] If you guys can help, obviously. [00:14:56] It's very important. [00:14:58] Okay. [00:15:00] Email us your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:15:02] Somebody did say, though, Charlie, I watched your show. [00:15:04] I didn't like his talking points on his opponent in the race. [00:15:08] I wish Republicans would stop personal assassinations with Democrats are known for it. [00:15:11] I disagree respectfully, Corey. [00:15:13] Thank you for your email. [00:15:15] We have to attack these candidates. [00:15:17] You got to reveal them. [00:15:18] You've got to be merciless in how you do it. [00:15:20] It's politics. [00:15:21] Negative works. [00:15:23] You have to be negative. [00:15:25] I don't like living in that environment. [00:15:26] It's the way it works. [00:15:27] You got to go negative against your candidates, especially when you're running up against crazy people like Mandela Barnes. [00:15:34] Okay, Democrats are starting to realize that things are starting to trend differently. [00:15:38] We got to keep the pressure on. [00:15:40] We keep this pressure on. [00:15:41] We could have a huge red wave, everybody. [00:15:43] We could win in Pennsylvania. [00:15:44] We could win in Wisconsin. [00:15:45] We could win in Georgia. [00:15:46] We could win in Arizona. [00:15:47] We could win in Nevada with Adam Laxalt. [00:15:51] We could win in Colorado with Joe O'Day. [00:15:54] I'm starting to see the things come in place. [00:15:56] I'm starting to see money finally being raised. [00:15:58] I'm starting to see candidates get on message. [00:16:01] Let's play Cut 61. [00:16:02] Meet the Press agrees. [00:16:04] For example, one of our favorite candidates in the country, Carrie Lake, is actually stronger than they thought. [00:16:08] Play Cut 61. [00:16:10] But I came away believing Mark Kelly is stronger than I thought. [00:16:14] And so is Kerry Lake. [00:16:15] Being on television, as she, Carrie Lake, being a former TV anchor for, what was it, 20 years? [00:16:22] There is a sense from voters that I know this person and whatever is being said about them and attack ads, et cetera. [00:16:29] Well, maybe that's true, but maybe it's just politics. [00:16:31] She can't be like that because she's been in my living room for the last 20 years. [00:16:35] So she has a benefit there. [00:16:37] So you watch that in a vacuum and you say, well, Kerry Lake has to be down 10. [00:16:40] And you're right. [00:16:41] And you see the polls and it's neck and neck. [00:16:43] And everybody cinema is a political talent. [00:16:44] I'll give her that. [00:16:45] But Katie Hobbs is not a good candidate. [00:16:49] She's a terrible candidate. [00:16:50] By the way, who thinks that Kerry Lake should be down 10? [00:16:53] Oh, if you live in an all-white Virginia suburban neighborhood and don't live in Arizona, down 10? [00:17:00] Carrie Lake's super popular. [00:17:02] In fact, I think Kerry Lake is going to win. [00:17:03] I think Blake Master is going to win. [00:17:04] I think Laxalt will win. [00:17:05] Buckle up. [00:17:06] And I'm starting to see the trends get better, but it's not done yet. [00:17:12] MyPillow is having their biggest sheet sale of the year. [00:18:11] He does a phenomenal job. [00:18:12] I should say talented. [00:18:14] The work he is doing is important. [00:18:15] I think that's a better way to word it. [00:18:17] It's incredible what he's able to root out and what he is able to discover. [00:18:24] He works for real clear politics. [00:18:27] He does a fabulous job. [00:18:28] And I think all of you have seen his work in one way or the other. [00:18:32] And it's Paul Sperry, and he joins us right now. [00:18:35] Paul, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show. [00:18:37] Hey, Charlie, thanks for having me on. [00:18:39] First, I want to compliment you again on your fabulous work. [00:18:42] I read it very frequently, and it's very thorough. [00:18:45] And so let's start with this story here, which I think is really important, is kind of unpacking this Trump-Hillary double standard for her and how the FBI helped obstruct that investigation and how they're going after Donald Trump. [00:19:00] Walk us through this. [00:19:02] Yeah, so we found that the same FBI division investigating Trump for possible emphasis, possible obstruction at Mar-a-Lago, let Hillary off the hook despite solid evidence that she and her team obstructed investigators in 2016. [00:19:20] Back when they were trying to recover subpoenaed emails that she had deleted, the FBI even let the custodian of her emails skate from prosecution, even though it repeatedly lied to agents about destroying all of the email evidence, including after they gave him immunity. [00:19:38] Yeah, and so I suppose, I mean, the question that everyone then has is, why is it that the Department of Justice is able to get away with this or the FBI just kind of monitors themselves? [00:19:50] Has anyone been fired from this? [00:19:52] Are these same people who are now going after the Mar-a-Lago and raiding Mar-a-Lago? [00:19:58] They're the same people that then derailed the Hillary Clinton investigation, right? [00:20:02] Yeah, the same team, counterintelligence team that whitewashed. [00:20:07] Both of these, by the way, were called espionage investigations, and they were sensitive investigative matters, Sims, and they were closely, they're now both closely held within headquarters in Washington. [00:20:24] There's one person that worked at, it was code-named the Hillary investigation of her emails and her homebrew server. [00:20:34] It was codenamed mid-year exam, the investigation. [00:20:36] But, anyways, he was the senior lawyer, the attorney on that case, counterintelligence division. [00:20:43] His name was Kevin Kleinsmith. [00:20:45] Well, Kevin Kleinsmith is no longer with the FBI. [00:20:48] He's been convicted of doctoring evidence that was used to obtain a wiretap warrant under the FISA on one of Trump's advisors. [00:21:00] But Klein Smith, a lot of people don't realize this, he was instrumental in that whitewash of Hillary's case. [00:21:06] He was a very biased Trump, and he was a big Clinton supporter. [00:21:12] He's gone, but a lot of the others, including analysts that worked in that case, are still there, and they're involved in this Mar-a-Lago investigation. [00:21:20] So, I mean, look, it's really important we don't forget this stuff. [00:21:24] And I'll be very honest, Paul, your reporting illuminates my cynicism towards this because I read it and it confirms what I believe. [00:21:35] But I say, of course, obviously, the FBI and the DOJ is on the side of the regime. [00:21:41] So blatant and such flagrant crimes committed by Hillary Clinton with no oversight at all whatsoever in the FBI or the DOJ. [00:21:50] And so can you give our listeners an update? [00:21:52] And also, this would be helpful for me because I've been so into other stories here. [00:21:56] What really is the latest right now with the Special Master, the raid on Mar-a-Lago? [00:22:02] What is the latest news out of that story? [00:22:06] Well, the main headline is because she approved the Special Master to sort through all the boxes of documents and personal items that they seized from Trump's personal residence. [00:22:24] F to go through, figure out what is personal, what is privileged, attorney-client privilege, other privilege, and exactly what is classified or is it classified? [00:22:39] Are those documents that had classified markings allegedly? [00:22:43] Are they still classified? [00:22:45] Because things can fall out of classification. [00:22:47] Did Trump declassify them? [00:22:50] That's what the special master is going to go through. [00:22:53] He's been named. [00:22:56] He's a judge out of New York. [00:22:59] And the bigger headline is that now Attorney General Merrick Garland can, you know, this investigation of the mishandling of supposed classified information is ground to a halt. [00:23:14] He cannot move forward. [00:23:15] He cannot use any of that so-called evidence in furtherance of that part of the investigation. [00:23:23] However, this is what people don't understand, is that what they're really drilling down on, if Trump is in any legal jeopardy, it's about it and his lawyers specifically, the custodian of his records down there who certified that they had turned over everything under subpoena. [00:23:43] That part of the investigation, which is obstruction, potential lying to agents, that can go forward by the special master. [00:23:53] They can put those lawyers custodian the records before the grand jury to testify. [00:23:59] That part of it is ongoing. [00:24:01] They don't need those documents necessarily to pursue that case. [00:24:06] And that's the aggravating factor in all this. [00:24:10] That's the more serious charge if they could ever bring it. [00:24:15] But that's what they were, that was the most serious charge in the Hillary case, and they completely gave her a pass. [00:24:23] I mean, the parallels between their two cases couldn't be more similar. [00:24:26] I mean, yet the treatment accorded them by the FBI and DOJ couldn't be more different. [00:24:32] Both of the cases involved the handling of government records, of course, including classified information, but both of them kept the records at their homes, in fact, stored in their basements where they were unsecure, possibly vulnerably compromised. [00:24:46] Although Hillary's restored electronically and potentially open to the internet and vulnerable to foreign hackers, while Trump's restored in paper form, what else? [00:24:56] Both of their lawyers acted as custodians of the records, and both of them face allegations of mishandling state secrets and destroying or concealing documents under subpoena and then lying about it. [00:25:07] Yet Hillary's team got a pass. [00:25:09] The whole investigation was a whitewash. [00:25:11] All the details are up on our site, real clear investigations in this story. [00:25:17] Your listeners can go to. [00:25:20] And instead of grand jury subpoenas, search warrants, and FBI raids, Hillary's team got immunity deals, other concessions, even sweetheart deals. [00:25:30] In fact, the FBI even at one point agreed to destroy evidence, in effect, obstructing their own investigation. [00:25:38] And, of course, you recall, Charlie, FBI Director Comey drafted an exoneration for Hillary before his agents could even interview her. [00:25:48] And he and his investigators could even call their investigation an investigation. [00:25:54] They had to call it a matter for the orders from Attorney General Loretta Lynch. [00:26:00] Could you even imagine Attorney General Merrick Garland ordering the FBI now to not call the Trump raid an investigation? [00:26:08] Hell no. [00:26:09] They're not pulling any punches for him. [00:26:11] They're putting the screws to him and even his lawyers. [00:26:14] Wow. [00:26:16] And so, I mean, it really frustrates our audience where Hillary Clinton still hasn't been held accountable for any of this. [00:26:23] Is it too late? [00:26:24] I mean, can the DOJ right this wrong? [00:26:26] And secondly, what is your guess? [00:26:28] And it's just a guess. [00:26:29] Do you think the DOJ is going to go after Hunter Biden anytime soon? [00:26:35] In Hillary's case, no, it's well beyond the statute of limitations. [00:26:40] It's unfortunately a dead issue. [00:26:44] Hunter Biden, that's a whole other story that we're working on. [00:26:53] That is actually, there's actually three states where that's being investigated. [00:27:01] And it's not just Hunter Biden. [00:27:03] It's his uncle Jimmy, Jimmy Biden, Joe Biden's younger brother. [00:27:13] But you had mentioned earlier, all this double standard, it just, I think you mentioned it, it's breeding cynicism. [00:27:22] And this kind of glaring double standard in how the FBI and Justice Department goes after certain politically connected or people or politicians, elected officials, it just breeds more cynicism in the public mind about how things operate in Washington. [00:27:42] Of course, it doesn't excuse Trump's behavior, but the point is, if you're going to investigate politicians for mishandling records and obstruction and lying, then investigate them with the same rigor and the same aggressiveness. [00:27:56] I mean, don't pull punches because the target is from one party and throw the book at another target because he's from the other party. [00:28:01] Be tough on both of them. [00:28:03] Treat them equally. [00:28:05] Treat them the same way. [00:28:06] That's all that people ask. [00:28:08] I mean, that's all the average American asks is viewing this from outside the beltway. [00:28:14] They just see this is the process has become so dirty. [00:28:17] Yeah, but didn't I have a question? [00:28:20] Didn't Trump have the power to declassify all these documents while he was president? [00:28:23] That's what I can't quite understand. [00:28:26] Yes, he did while he was president, not post-bunch. [00:28:30] I mean, he could still have them since they're declassified then. [00:28:35] Yeah, even if they even if he didn't do that officially, he has every right to have classified information in his home. [00:28:44] No, but once they're once they're declassified, they're no longer classified, right? === Doug Shapiro On The Ropes (05:41) === [00:28:50] That's true. [00:28:52] But my point is, even if there's not a record of that, and he said that verbally, orally, it doesn't matter because it's not a crime. [00:29:03] Because right now, Bill Clinton at his Harlem office in his Chappaqua home and former President Obama at his Calamara home in D.C. and in his Kenwood home in Chicago, they have classified information there stored. [00:29:19] They're receiving intelligence briefings every week. [00:29:23] Every former president is set up with a SCIF in their homes while they're president, when they visit back at their homes, and after their presidency, they get intelligence briefings, and they have to have a SCIF where they receive those briefings. [00:29:41] It's a secure compartmented information facilities, SCIF. [00:29:46] And they are handling classified documents and information. [00:29:52] So it's just outrageous that they're singling Trump out. [00:29:56] I agree. [00:29:56] Paul Sperry, thank you so much for joining us and keep up the phenomenal investigation. [00:30:01] Thank you. [00:30:01] Thank you, Charlie. [00:30:05] And here with us right now is Doug Mastriano, who we are enthusiastically behind to become the next governor of the fabulous state of Pennsylvania. [00:30:13] Doug, welcome back to the program. [00:30:14] Thanks for having me on. [00:30:16] I appreciate it. [00:30:16] Doug, we had a great event with you a couple weeks ago. [00:30:19] Thank you for doing that. [00:30:20] I think it really kind of helped the broader movement and also your campaign to become governor. [00:30:24] How's your race going up against a total snake? [00:30:27] Yeah, exactly. [00:30:29] A poll came out today from Trafalgar. [00:30:32] They have a good reputation. [00:30:33] They oversampled Democrats by four, and it showed me within two points of Shapiro after he spent $10 million. [00:30:39] Barris had a poll on Saturday, showed us even at 43 each. [00:30:42] Wow. [00:30:43] And the week before Emerson College had a poll three points apart. [00:30:47] And one thing we did a good rally with Senator Santorum last night outside of Philly. [00:30:52] And one thing he commented on was, you know, you can't measure enthusiasm in these polls. [00:30:56] And what we saw at the rally that you said generously sponsored and hosted, both myself and Governor DeSantis in Pittsburgh last month, was a massive crowd in the middle of a workday coming out. [00:31:06] These thousand plus people. [00:31:08] I can't remember the number. [00:31:09] It was incredible. [00:31:09] And the enthusiasm. [00:31:10] And Ron DeSantis and his wife Casey commented to Remy and I privately that they haven't seen so much energy in a room like that in some time. [00:31:19] Yeah, it's like MAGA type energy. [00:31:21] Your race seems to be going really well, and you got Shapiro on the ropes. [00:31:24] And Shapiro, he's such a fraud. [00:31:26] He's one of my least favorite politicians in the country. [00:31:29] He also was involved and covered for some of the illegal unconstitutional election changes that happened in 2020 that I believe was an unconstitutional administration of the 2020 election. [00:31:39] But, Doug, talk about the issue of crime, huge issue right now in Pennsylvania. [00:31:43] Shapiro is responsible for a lot of the rise in crime. [00:31:46] He's remained silent on it. [00:31:47] Talk about how crime is a main driver in a way that you could probably win over Democrats that otherwise would not vote for a Republican. [00:31:54] Thank you, Charlie, for bringing it up. [00:31:55] So, Josh Shapiro, my opponent, has been the attorney general for six years. [00:32:00] And six years as a senior law enforcement official in our state, he has failed Pennsylvania. [00:32:04] He's allowed Philadelphia to become the wild, wild west. [00:32:07] He can't run on his record. [00:32:08] So, instead, he's calling names just like the juvenile Democrats always do, you know, ad hominem attacks, personal attacks, you know, labeling anti-this or phobic that. [00:32:16] Just like, just shut up. [00:32:18] Talk about the issues we care about. [00:32:19] On his watch, Charlie, crime has gone up 37%. [00:32:23] On his watch, we have the fourth highest fentanyl that's in the nation. [00:32:26] On his watch, we have the 12th highest homicides, for example. [00:32:30] Philadelphia, when Josh Shapiro became the attorney general in 2016, there were 277 homicides. [00:32:36] Now it's annually. [00:32:37] Now it's pushing 600 annually. [00:32:39] The guy's a complete fraud and fake and failure, as you said. [00:32:42] Instead of doing his job and having the back of our law enforcement, instead of protecting the people of Pennsylvania, he's chasing these political ambitions and dreams that he has that are well beyond Pennsylvania. [00:32:51] We need to fire the guy. [00:32:52] He can't win. [00:32:53] Failure is not an option. [00:32:54] So we're running out of time here. [00:32:55] I want to do two things really quick. [00:32:56] I want to reinforce how important it is that Doug wins. [00:32:59] He could be one of America's great governors. [00:33:00] I mean that he's tough, he's wise, he'll do a great job. [00:33:04] If you live in Pennsylvania or if you have a friend that lives in Pennsylvania, you need to text interviews like this and links of Doug, who gets asked real questions to friends, because the mainstream media is going after Doug like crazy. [00:33:17] You got to turn yourself into a one-stop shop kind of campaigner for Doug. [00:33:22] Finally, Doug, 30 seconds, your website, how can people help you? [00:33:26] Go to Doug4Gov.com. [00:33:27] That's Doug, number4gov.com. [00:33:30] And volunteer, donate, do whatever you can. [00:33:32] We are the Keystone State. [00:33:33] Whether you're from Pennsylvania or not is irrelevant. [00:33:36] We can change the course of history in America. [00:33:38] We get Pennsylvania right on 8 November. [00:33:39] So thank you again for having me on, Charlie. [00:33:41] Yep, just keep campaigning hard. [00:33:42] I think you got these guys on the ropes. [00:33:44] I think Pennsylvania is a very, it's a beautiful state with wonderful people that I think has been abused by political leadership in the Democrat Party for far too long. [00:33:52] Donald Trump winning Pennsylvania, I think, shows us exactly how Pennsylvania can vote. [00:33:58] Keep campaigning hard, Doug. [00:33:59] I wish we had more time. [00:34:00] It's Doug4Gov.com. [00:34:01] You're welcome back anytime. [00:34:02] Thank you, Doug. [00:34:03] Thank you, sir. [00:34:04] God bless you. [00:34:05] Email us freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:34:07] That's Doug Mostriano running for governor of Pennsylvania. [00:34:09] Big fan. [00:34:10] He's phenomenal. [00:34:11] Ron Johnson, Doug Mostriano. [00:34:12] We got to support the good guys. [00:34:14] We got to get Doug across the finish line. [00:34:15] We also got to get Oz across the finish line. [00:34:17] We talked about that earlier this week. [00:34:19] Thanks so much for listening, everybody. [00:34:20] Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
