[00:01:47] Barack Obama is an interesting person to study. [00:01:51] I got my political start while Obama had his political rise. [00:01:58] Obama, of course, would call Chicago his hometown. [00:02:01] Hawaii would be kind of more like his hometown. [00:02:04] I always found the whole debate about Obama's birth certificate to be a little bit silly. [00:02:09] His father, though, that's always been kind of a question of who he was and where he came from. [00:02:17] Obama is Chicago. [00:02:21] It's in his blood. [00:02:23] He believes in a political viewpoint and worldview that if you don't get what you want, you throw the window, you throw the brick through the window and you blame the other side. [00:02:38] Obama built an entire political machine with David Pluff and Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett. [00:02:45] It took the entire American political landscape by storm, especially when Hillary Clinton was supposed to be the nominee and president in 2008. [00:02:55] So things are not going well for Democrats right now. [00:02:59] Democrats are looking as if they are going to get clobbered in the upcoming midterms. [00:03:03] The Senate is probably going to be in Republican hands unless Republicans screw it up. [00:03:11] And so who do they bring in to try to spark up the troops to try to pep them up, to try to get them focused? [00:03:16] Barack Obama. [00:03:18] Former President Barack Obama speaks to the House Democrats on Thursday. [00:03:22] The private meeting is organized by Hakeem Jeffries, the caucus chair, and is expected to take place virtually. [00:03:29] You know, Obama will not be bothered by leaving Oahu while he is communicating to House Democrats. [00:03:36] Obama, who has kept his public appearances to a minimum since leaving office, will participate in a keynote discussion with Speaker Nancy Pelosi. [00:03:45] Now, I'm reading this article that happened a couple days ago. [00:03:49] But last night, some of the information from his speech got leaked. [00:03:56] And Obama basically leaned in and told Democrats, here's the problem. [00:04:01] The problem is not that you're messing up the country. [00:04:04] The problem is you're not communicating what you're doing. [00:04:07] Quote from CBSNews.com, former president Barack Hussein Obama exhorted House Democrats to celebrate their accomplishments on the campaign trail rather than dwell on the setbacks they faced as they try to defend their slim majority in the midterms this year. [00:04:24] Obama, the featured keynote speaker during the caucus virtual messaging summit Thursday, told lawmakers to, quote, take the wins you can get, and quote, doesn't help to whine about the stuff you can't change. [00:04:35] He says you need to be aggressive about highlighting the progress. [00:04:40] He says Democrats deliver. [00:04:42] He reminded them of the fight to pass nationwide health care, the Affordable Care Act when he was president. [00:04:48] Now, Obama shouldn't exactly be a subject matter expert on how to hold chambers of power in midterms. [00:04:55] It was one of the most, let's say, it was one of the most historic midterm elections ever in 2010 where Republicans took back the House in a historic fashion. [00:05:05] Historic meaning so much power was lost so quickly. [00:05:08] But Obama's message was this, was that Democrats deliver when Republicans just talk. [00:05:15] Now, many of you are probably irritated and probably confused by hearing this, hearing that Barack Obama is lecturing you about how wonderful and lovely things are. [00:05:26] But he means it. [00:05:28] You see, Obama is not telling Democrats they have to change the actual policy. [00:05:34] Obama's not telling people that they have to stop double-digit inflation or soaring gas prices or a southern border that is wide open or calling moms and dads domestic terrorists or implementing a radical transgender agenda. [00:05:48] No, instead, Obama says you have to just get better at communicating what we are doing. [00:05:54] I had a phenomenal conversation yesterday with Dave Rubin, which we will post on our podcast at some point, where he was interviewing me, which was a nice kind of change of roles because we interview him a lot and he's very smart, founder of locals.com, by the way, which was acquired by Rumble. [00:06:09] And he asked me a very important question. [00:06:11] He said, Charlie, do you think in the Democrats' private meetings, they think things are going well? [00:06:19] And that's a really important question. [00:06:22] Now, some Democrats, like Cinema and Manchin, probably not so much because they have a little bit, they have a shred, they have an inch of honesty. [00:06:30] But the base of the Democrat Party, the Hakeem Jeffries, the AOCs, the Schumer's, the Pelosis, and the Obamas, they think things are going totally according to plan. [00:06:42] Now, they don't doubt that they are unpopular, but what is popular is not necessarily what the Democrats want to usher in. [00:06:51] You can kind of go back to what the World Economic Forum says they think the world is going to look like by 2030. [00:06:57] Primarily, three promises that were part of the World Economic Forum when it came out and they said what 2030 will look like. [00:07:06] Of course, it's the, you won't be eating any meat and we're going to Mars, but there's three things that we must focus on. [00:07:12] Number one, that America will no longer be a superpower. [00:07:18] Number two, you'll own nothing and you'll be happier than ever. [00:07:22] Sounds like a threat. [00:07:23] Like, you better be happy and you'll own nothing. [00:07:26] And number three, you will be participating in a world where Western values will no longer be superior. [00:07:36] Now, this is the World Economics Forum agenda. [00:07:38] And you must understand that Barack Obama has been a partner in the ushering in of this sort of agenda. [00:07:48] And they think they are doing the right thing. [00:07:51] The first line of Aristotle's ethics is all behavior, all action points towards some good. [00:07:56] Now, if you kind of put aside the mentally and clinically insane, more evil has been done in the name of good than evil done in the name of evil. [00:08:06] Obama thinks, alongside all of his Democrat counterparts, they are, quote, on the right side of history. [00:08:11] Remember, Obama, the arc of history points towards justice. [00:08:18] Deteriorating the currency and keeping the borders open and vaccinating six-month-olds, pandering to a technocratic corporate oligarchy. [00:08:27] These are all important components of what will usher in the great reset. [00:08:33] But Democrats are starting to realize and admit it's not exactly popular in places like Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, even Arizona, Georgia. [00:08:41] In fact, they have double-digit, sometimes 25, 30-point-digit deficits. [00:08:47] But the solution that Obama is prescribing is very revealing. [00:08:51] And this is exactly where we're leading the show with it. [00:08:53] It's not that they are saying we need to pivot on what we are doing. [00:08:57] It's that we need to get better at communicating what we are doing. [00:09:01] It's like, hey, we just got to kind of, we got to tell people that Rome is burning, but the good thing about Rome burning is that you'll all have jobs to rebuild the buildings because everything's burning. === Biden's Financial Reset (08:24) === [00:09:14] But the good news about Pearl Harbor is that we didn't like the architecture anyway. [00:09:18] Like those ships, we wanted to get rid of them. [00:09:21] 9-11, hey, we'll be able to build a new tower in its place. [00:09:26] You get the point. [00:09:28] It's not that, oh, something's wrong and the house is on fire and let's put the fire out. [00:09:32] It's like, hey, the house is on fire. [00:09:33] Insurance will cover it and we'll get a mansion. [00:09:35] Like it's actually good. [00:09:36] We need to tell people that the obvious suffering around them is a wonderful and delightful thing. [00:09:41] We're going to play some tape about this because Biden definitely got the memo where Biden has said very clearly and openly, inflation's a good thing. [00:09:49] You should have a peace of mind about it because for them, it actually is. [00:09:53] Inflation is the ultimate economic means to an end to justify more immigration, more human beings, a technocratic agenda, trying to trade. [00:10:02] All these things will quote unquote be ways to ease the hot inflation. [00:10:08] It's the same behavior I mentioned earlier. [00:10:11] It's the window repairman that walks down the street at 4 a.m. and throws bricks through windows and conveniently gets a call a couple hours later of people that need their windows fixed. [00:10:24] You create the crisis and then you position yourself as the only person that can fix the crisis that you created. [00:10:33] Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. [00:10:35] As you know, Mike Lindell has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of your life. [00:10:39] He created the Giza Dream bedsheets. [00:11:26] Mike Lindell is a great American. [00:11:28] He sits on the Turning Point USA Advisory Board. [00:11:30] Go to mypillow.com, promo code Kirk, mypillow.com, promo code Kirk. [00:11:37] So the question that Dave Rubin posed to me that ties into this Obama kind of shtick is, do the Democrats think they are doing well? [00:11:47] And the answer is they think they're doing wonderfully. [00:11:49] They just have a communication problem. [00:11:51] And you hear this time and time again, meaning that what they are doing is perfectly fundamental transformation, trying to change the nation. [00:12:00] It's just we have to convince the stupid people that paying double digits for things is actually a wonderful thing. [00:12:07] That it's up for us to deploy platoons of Harvard economists to try to tell the plumber in Youngstown, Ohio, like, listen, idiot, the fact that you can't afford chili for the Super Bowl is actually a great thing. [00:12:21] Okay, you need to go eat impossible plant-based meat, and you're going to have fun while doing it. [00:12:28] Biden says, look, we're in a situation where you should now have peace of mind. [00:12:33] If Joe Biden was being diagnosed in a clinical setting, not for the dementia or the Alzheimer stuff, I think that stuff's sort of cruel. [00:12:40] And honestly, we know he has it, but I'm talking about just from a psychological perspective. [00:12:44] Let's just actually broaden this. [00:12:46] If the Democrat Party was being diagnosed by a psychologist, they'd say, this is a gaslighting operation that is abusing the entire population. [00:12:55] We've been through what gaslighting is before. [00:12:57] It's a legitimate psychological concern. [00:12:59] Play Cut 122. [00:13:00] The fact is that we're in a situation now where, you know, you should have peace of mind. [00:13:08] I know food prices are up and we're working to bring them down. [00:13:11] I said I grew up in a family where the price at the pump went up, you're filling. [00:13:15] And I understand, but these things are necessities. [00:13:19] We're working to bring down prices where they're not totally what families, in fact, have to pay now. [00:13:26] It's not happening and it's good that it is, the great Michael Anton wrote in The American Mind and one of the great pieces of 2021. [00:13:34] Inflation is not happening and it's really good that inflation's happening, actually. [00:13:38] In the same sentence, Play Cut 131. [00:13:42] I actually haven't heard this clip yet. [00:13:44] So we're all going to be, I'm going to hear it for the first time as you. [00:13:47] So it's Dick Durbin weighing in on the Biden economy. [00:13:49] You'll get my live reaction. [00:13:50] Play Cut 131. [00:13:51] There's a new CNN poll today with not great news for President Biden and the Democrats in terms of job approval. [00:13:57] Strikingly, 56% of respondents in our poll who disapprove of Biden's job say he has made zero moves that they approve of. [00:14:06] Zero. [00:14:06] Not on coronavirus, not on the economy, not even on getting a cat. [00:14:11] Do you think President Biden is doing everything he can to reach these voters? [00:14:14] Listen, Jake, we're in the doldrums at this point. [00:14:16] And I think it really all relates back to that inflation situation together with the pandemic. [00:14:22] Now, I heard that for the first time as you did. [00:14:25] Dick Durbin is going to actually give the speech that we predicted he was going to give in an American Greatness article one year ago. [00:14:31] They're going to pivot and admit that inflation is here and use it as an excuse for mass amnesty. [00:14:36] We were the first show to actually come out and put that in writing. [00:14:39] Remember how we got attacked mercilessly for that? [00:14:42] Charlie Kirk thinks inflation is a strategy for open borders. [00:14:45] Well, now John Tester is literally saying that out loud, where John Tester from Montana actually literally says that, quote, comprehensive immigration reform could help cut inflation because of ongoing worker shortages. [00:15:00] So the way to solve inflation is to bring more people in, also known as cheap Democrat voters. [00:15:07] Cheap labor for the Republican business owners, cheap Democrat voters for the Democrat base. [00:15:13] That's actually a beautiful segue to the workers of the world that are uniting. [00:15:18] In a bizarre turn of events, we're now on the side of labor, and Democrats and the left are now on the side of capital and the regime. [00:15:29] With all the noise surrounding the topics of money and the economy, today more than ever before, you need a financial guide that you can trust. [00:15:38] That's why I trust PAC's financial group. [00:15:40] Not only do they share my conservative values, they are committed to putting your interests ahead of their own. [00:15:46] Big Wall Street firms are forcing their political agendas into your investments. [00:15:50] And it's time to stop giving your money to companies that don't share your values or use their profits, my profits, as a way to silence Christians. [00:15:59] PAX is proud to offer an alternative called BRIs, Biblical Responsible Investing. [00:16:06] Look, I got to know the people behind PAX Financial at a pro-life dinner in San Antonio. [00:16:13] I got to know them and they told me about biblical responsible investing. [00:16:15] And at first, I wasn't really sure what to make of it. [00:16:18] But as I got to know the team behind PAX Financial, we agreed to partner with them here on the Charlie Kirk Show. [00:16:24] Biblical Responsible Investing supports and promotes our values of being pro-family and pro-life and screens out companies that support pornography or anti-Christian or anti-conservative. [00:16:36] If you have $150,000 or more in investments, text them, Charlie, at number 74868. [00:16:43] Text them, just Charlie, right now to number 74868. [00:16:48] So take out your phone to number 7468. [00:16:51] Type Charlie in there. [00:16:53] They'll be able to schedule a 15-minute free, no-obligation consultation. [00:16:56] I'm moving some of my money over to PAX Financial. [00:16:59] And honestly, I hope they do well with it with some of the returns. [00:17:03] But I'm happy that part of my portfolio will be able to go towards biblical responsible investing. [00:17:10] I think they're going to crush it for me in the market, but I'll be able to know that my hard-earned dollars are not going towards pornography, anti-Christian, pro-BLM nonsense. [00:17:20] You'll be connected with a financial advisor who will walk this through with you. [00:17:23] Text Charlie at number 74868 today. [00:17:26] Invest in companies that don't hate you. [00:17:28] Invest in companies that I believe are actually consistent with biblical truths. [00:17:33] Go to biblical responsible investing. [00:17:34] If that interests you, text right now to 74868. === Ontario Bridge Emergency (11:05) === [00:17:38] Just Charlie in the body there. [00:17:40] Check it out right now. [00:17:41] Brought to you by PAX Financial Group, PAX. [00:17:46] All right, with us right now is Viva Fry. [00:17:50] Does a great job. [00:17:51] Straight from Canada. [00:17:52] And the Canadian trucker movement, everybody, is gaining steam. [00:17:56] It is one of the most successful, one of the most unexpected, organic, grassroots, authentic human rights protests in North American, modern North American history. [00:18:12] I don't think that's overstating it at all. [00:18:14] With us right now is Vivo Fry to walk us through all of it. [00:18:16] How you doing, man? [00:18:17] Great to see you. [00:18:18] Good in yourself. [00:18:20] What is going on in Canada? [00:18:21] It seems like there's multiple now protests. [00:18:25] It's not just in Ottawa. [00:18:26] It's also the Ambassador Bridge. [00:18:28] What's going on? [00:18:29] So multiple fronts to this now. [00:18:31] And the amazing thing, I'll call them the naive government that doesn't seem to be aware of the Streisand effect on a political basis as well. [00:18:40] The more heavy-handed they come down to try to quell and stifle and suppress this grassroots movement of protest, the worse they make it. [00:18:50] They declared a state of emergency in Ottawa on the basis that the citizens were being terrorized. [00:18:55] The city's paralyzed. [00:18:57] You can't do no room for emergency vehicles. [00:19:01] I've been there now eight days just documenting, live streaming, talking to people in real time. [00:19:08] If something bad had happened in terms of visibility, it would have been seen in real time. [00:19:12] The city's not crippled. [00:19:14] The honking has stopped about a week ago. [00:19:16] They got a court order injunction anyhow, but they were respecting not honking at night for a while now. [00:19:22] But the more the government comes down with a heavy fist, the worse this gets. [00:19:26] It's spread now to the blockading of the Ambassador Bridge, which is between Windsor and Michigan. [00:19:31] The figure varies depending on where you read it, but it's a trade route for hundreds of millions of dollars in goods a day. [00:19:38] Some say a billion, others say 100 million. [00:19:42] That's come to a standstill. [00:19:43] There's another border crossing out west in Coutz, which has been blockaded. [00:19:49] Protesters parking their trucks there. [00:19:52] And, you know, I've been asking them. [00:19:53] I've asked everyone the same question. [00:19:55] I pretty much get the same answer with a variation. [00:19:57] What are you here for? [00:19:58] And they say, freedom, ending all these mandates. [00:20:01] And I say, when are you leaving? [00:20:02] And they say, when we have our freedom. [00:20:04] And so let's talk about the significance of the Ambassador Bridge. [00:20:07] This is a new development. [00:20:08] This wasn't happening like a week ago. [00:20:10] And this is the thoroughfare between Windsor and Detroit. [00:20:14] A lot of auto manufacturer supplies go through this bridge and it's totally shut down, if I'm not mistaken, including the on-ramps there. [00:20:22] Is that right? [00:20:22] As far as I understand, it's at a standstill. [00:20:26] It's not like in Ottawa, there are emergency routes so that emergency trucks can get through. [00:20:31] From what I understand, the bridge is at a standstill and not moving, not going anywhere. [00:20:36] And this is, yes, some would say as a response or result of what the government's trying to do to the trucker protest in Ottawa. [00:20:45] They get involved. [00:20:47] They interfere with GoFundMe. [00:20:49] They pressure GoFundMe to cancel the fundraiser after they've reached $10 million, the second biggest GoFundMe campaign in Canadian history. [00:20:57] What happens? [00:20:57] You've just pissed off a lot more truckers and a lot of other people who were hitherto not getting involved. [00:21:05] People think this is the truckers versus Canada. [00:21:07] They think it's a group of extremists. [00:21:08] They have to understand. [00:21:10] I've been talking to the people on the street. [00:21:12] I talked to a truck driver from Kuwait. [00:21:14] I talked to a truck driver from Romania. [00:21:16] I talked to citizens. [00:21:17] One was a Haitian immigrant. [00:21:19] Another one was a retired registered nurse who came out of retirement when she got the call from the government, worked for two years under COVID, and then got put on unpaid leave of absence because she refused to get the shot. [00:21:31] This is not just truckers. [00:21:33] And if people think that what the government is doing to suppress this protest only limits itself to this particular convoy, this particular protest, you're deluding yourselves. [00:21:41] They are chiseling away at our constitutional freedoms bit by bit, weaponizing every aspect of government to do so. [00:21:47] And if anyone thinks this stops here with this particular protest, you're wrong. [00:21:51] Well, and it's so funny is the people that are always lecturing me about democracy and about democracy dying in darkness, and the very same people that always used to wear these ridiculous shirts to school, workers of the world unite. [00:22:04] It's like now the workers of the world are actually uniting and they want to go use the police force, you know, the shock troops to go after them and go confiscate their firewood and their diesel. [00:22:15] So if you could literally, literally, yeah, that's exactly right. [00:22:19] So if you can walk through one thing that I'm a little unclear of, because I'm seeing all these news reports, some people are lifting like mask mandates, or some people are listening. [00:22:29] Where have there been wins since this has started? [00:22:34] So my understanding is some of the provinces now are discovering the new science and rolling the measures back. [00:22:41] Ontario is expected to announce today that they're going to eliminate the vaccine passport system. [00:22:47] I think it was Manitoba made a similar declaration in Quebec, who I call the supreme leader Francois Legault, who's our premier, says that as of March 14th, we're going to start going back to normal slowly. [00:23:00] That dog is very annoying. [00:23:02] Except with respect to the vaccine passport, which is going to stay in effect. [00:23:05] And that, for those of you who don't know, watching your show, children aged 13 and up need to be double vaccinated and need to carry around their vaccine passport QR code to partake in regular society, to play after-school activities, to go to movie theaters, restaurants, et cetera. [00:23:21] That's going to stay in effect here in Quebec. [00:23:23] So they're rolling back some. [00:23:24] They're all saying it has nothing to do with the convoy. [00:23:27] They're all rolling them back while simultaneously threatening the convoy. [00:23:30] Doug Ford, who's the premier of Ontario, same day he's coming out rolling back some of these measures, is also coming down with his iron ham fists to say, like, we're going to fine these truckers up to $100,000, put them in jail. [00:23:43] This is unlawful. [00:23:44] We're declaring a state of emergency. [00:23:45] And meanwhile, I'm the schnook with the camera just tweeting out video from Ottawa. [00:23:51] Those rowdy protesters were shoveling the snow off the sidewalk that the city of Ottawa is refusing to do. [00:23:57] I've never seen such a split between reality and what the media is saying is reality. [00:24:02] I've never seen it this bad in my entire life. [00:24:04] I hope to never see it this way again, but I hope to reach some people so that people know that the media lies teeth. [00:24:11] The politicians who have bought off the media use them to continue lying through their teeth. [00:24:15] And we are just the people here sitting around expected to swallow this rubbish that they're stuffing down our throat. [00:24:21] So Ontario has both Toronto and Ottawa in it. [00:24:25] Is that correct? [00:24:25] Yeah. [00:24:26] Ottawa is the capital of Canada, but it's relatively, it's a million population in Ontario, but it's the capital of Canada. [00:24:33] And then Toronto is a huge city. [00:24:34] So therefore, the truckers have triggered what they wanted in Ontario. [00:24:40] Like what, here, here's a question. [00:24:42] Like, what does success look like at this point if some of these mandates are being repealed? [00:24:46] From the truckers' perspective, I don't think they consider this to be a victory because for them, it's all of these mandates. [00:24:52] Okay. [00:24:53] No exception and no reserving the right to go back. [00:24:56] Like I've been making the analogy, like this is sort of like a dog that has bitten you. [00:25:01] And if the dog doesn't bite you again, you never look at that dog the same way again because it's susceptible of biting. [00:25:07] I think a lot of people, myself included, are looking at the government that way too. [00:25:11] You can't just take some back and say it's good enough or take it all back and say, but we reserve the right to lock you in your homes again to implement a discriminatory and divisive vaccine passport. [00:25:20] They say, all gone. [00:25:21] We want our freedoms back. [00:25:24] I don't think they see these as victories. [00:25:26] And in the meantime, worth mentioning, when you fight corruption, corruption fights back. [00:25:31] After having politically interfered with the GoFundMe campaign, the Attorney General of Ontario, ex parte, for those who don't know what that means, without the presence of the defendant in the suit, got an order yesterday. [00:25:44] Effectively, I'm reading through the order. [00:25:46] I can barely make sense of what it means, enjoining give, send, go from disposing or providing the monies that they have raised to the truckers and disposing, sorry, preventing any of the truckers from accessing or using that money. [00:26:00] So they went from getting involved with GoFundMe, political pressure to get GoFundMe to shut the campaign down. [00:26:07] Last week, they raised $10 million on Give, Send, Go. [00:26:11] And then they go and get an ex parte court order without representation from anyone from the convoy to freeze the assets that have been raised through grassroots donations from people across the world. [00:26:25] It is weaponizing every aspect of government to utterly destroy every aspect of our constitution. [00:26:32] Yeah, I suppose it's a really good argument for Bitcoin, right? [00:26:34] Like, good luck stopping that. [00:26:36] But I mean, in traditional banking, they can literally stop a movement. [00:26:39] And this is a learning lesson that, I mean, Canada's a little bit more cavalier. [00:26:43] But I wouldn't put this past New York or California to do something like this. [00:26:47] But of course, if BLM is burning down your entire civilization, let the money flow, right? [00:26:51] Like Kamala Harris can raise bail money for these terrorists and all of that. [00:26:55] But you mentioned it's the double standards. [00:26:59] Now, in fairness, people did criticize Kamala Harris at the time for raising money to bail out people who were put in jail for acts of violence, actual acts of violence. [00:27:08] And now they're referring to this as an extremist. [00:27:13] They're using insurrectionist terminology. [00:27:16] And when you go to Ottawa, I was there yesterday. [00:27:19] It's quieter than Montreal on an ordinary day. [00:27:21] They're not honking their horns. [00:27:23] They're parked. [00:27:23] They're shoveling the sidewalks. [00:27:25] Crime has actually gone down in Ottawa. [00:27:27] The homeless people are actually being fed because the trumpets have more food than they know what to do with. [00:27:32] So they're actually feeding the local homeless population. [00:27:35] It's the level of deceit is over the top. [00:27:39] It's true there is some blockading of the transport on the Ambassador Bridge, which is going to have consequences. [00:27:46] But it's like the government has now said, you get to protest, but it's over when we say it's over, and it can't cause any disruption that we find disruptive. [00:27:56] But in other circumstances, you can have your peaceful but somewhat fiery protests that last an entire summer. [00:28:03] The double standard should be nauseating for everybody. [00:28:06] The only problem is the people who like this, who think that they're on the right side now because the government would never do this to them, are supporting it. [00:28:13] Yeah, and it's like, also, what were you protesting in the summer, right? [00:28:16] I mean, they were allegedly protesting, you know, a police killing in Minneapolis. [00:28:22] No, they weren't. [00:28:22] I mean, that's not even close to what it was. [00:28:25] It was straight up anarchy, arson, looting, robbery, destruction of civil society. [00:28:31] I mean, burning a Wendy's is not done in the memory of George Floyd or going out of Louis Baton store. [00:28:37] Go ahead, one minute. [00:28:38] Yeah, even if they said they were protesting for black lives, oh, that's fine. === Backlash Against Anarchy (03:11) === [00:28:44] They should bear in mind right now that these vaccine passport systems in Canada disparately impact blacks, Latinos, indigenous. [00:28:51] They disparately impact the very minorities who are least likely to be vaccinated because of previous historical atrocities committed by the very same government that is now telling them to shut up and take the shot. [00:29:00] So people should appreciate that. [00:29:02] These measures that the truckers are protesting are measures that themselves have a disparate impact on Canada's minority population, and people just don't seem to appreciate that. [00:29:12] We're back to the government knows what minorities should be doing with their body, do it, and who knows, maybe in 20 years' time, they will be apologizing for these historical atrocities the way the current government is apologizing for atrocities committed by previous governments. [00:29:28] If you're like me and my team here, you're spending countless hours in front of a computer screen or on a smartphone, and that can really do some damage for your eyes. [00:29:36] You might suffer from headaches, sore eyes, digital eye strain, watery eyes, and fatigue. [00:29:40] And how about your sleep? [00:29:42] I didn't realize how much eye strain can hamper me from getting a restful night's sleep. [00:29:46] But now I've discovered blue blocks, blue light glasses. [00:29:50] That's blue blocks, blue light glasses. [00:29:53] I know better. [00:29:54] The glasses come in non-prescription, prescription, and reading options. [00:29:57] They have glasses for every need you can think of. [00:30:00] They have stylish frames that have been featured in GQ and Vogue, but more importantly, they are backed by technology and tested to ensure they are the best. [00:30:07] Blue Light for helping with digital eye strain, Summerglow for helping with low mood and migraines, and Sleep Plus for improving your sleep. [00:30:15] Mention my name, Charlie, and get 15% off your entire order. [00:30:18] Go to blueblocks.com backlash Charlie to order. [00:30:21] That's blueblocks.com backlash Charlie. [00:30:25] They might just, they may just change your life and there's no risk because there's a 100% money-back guarantee. [00:30:30] That's blue blocks backlash Charlie. [00:30:33] Check it out right now. [00:30:36] Viva, let me ask you, they're protesting being able to go to one country to the other. [00:30:41] I was thinking of stopping by in Ottawa, but I'm an unvaccinated person. [00:30:46] And as an American, they could potentially detain me. [00:30:49] I mean, it's a totally different set of circumstances. [00:30:52] Am I right? [00:30:53] It's over the top. [00:30:57] But in fairness, the United States now imposes the same requirement on non-American foreigners who travel to the U.S. [00:31:05] But no, even before, like this goes back to last year, Justin Trudeau implemented his hotel quarantine or his quarantine hotels in federally designated detention facilities. [00:31:18] They literally imposed a requirement on anybody coming in, including Canadians, to be detained against their will and sometimes in an undisclosed location in these government-designated hotel quarantine hotels. [00:31:32] And, you know, I don't care what euphemism you give that. [00:31:34] That's, that's prison. [00:31:35] That's a federal detention center that they put you in for, it was like 24 to 72 hours until you get a negative test. [00:31:45] And they make you pay for the luxury as well, 2,000 bucks at the time. [00:31:48] And the courts upheld it. [00:31:49] The courts upheld the quarantine hotel system that Justin Trudeau put into effect. === Confederate Flags Lie (03:57) === [00:31:55] So I can understand a lot of people don't want to come to Canada. [00:31:58] And I've got to tell you, if I'm not Canadian, I'm not coming here either. [00:32:03] Vaccinated or not. [00:32:04] I'm not living in a place where the government can and has been doing this to people. [00:32:10] But Justin Trudeau never wanted to let a good situation not escalate so that he can show his power. [00:32:16] He's just been flexing his muscles harder and harder, but it's producing the exact opposite response to what he presumably thought would have been the response. [00:32:25] Public opinion, what has changed when it comes to Canadians' view of all this? [00:32:31] It's split because I know this from my own personal milieu. [00:32:35] It's split. [00:32:35] Some people are starting to see how the media has been lying to them. [00:32:39] Others are just, you know, with a sense of entitlement that comes only from thinking truck drivers exist to drive your stuff. [00:32:47] Nurses exist to do their job. [00:32:49] These are not choices. [00:32:50] These are obligations and they're obligations that provide me, the elite, entitlements. [00:32:56] I've seen way too many people saying, take their licenses away, take their cars away, punish it. [00:33:02] And I asked them when I was going through, it's like, you know, you hear people saying, pull your insurance, pull your licenses. [00:33:07] And they say, what's that going to change? [00:33:09] As it is now, that's why we're here. [00:33:11] You've got nothing to take from us that is of a sufficient threat because you've basically taken our livelihoods anyhow. [00:33:17] And so the sentiment among the general population is split. [00:33:22] In Ottawa proper, residents seem to be, by my count, 50-50 split. [00:33:27] Some support it, some don't. [00:33:29] The further you get from it, I'm noticing that more people don't support it because they're walking around thinking that this convoy is nothing but a bunch of Nazis and Confederate flags walking around parliament under siege, not appreciating it is it is more multicultural from what I've seen than parliament itself. [00:33:46] Children are running around dancing. [00:33:48] People are hugging. [00:33:49] People are smiling. [00:33:50] People are telling me that their faces hurt from smiling so much because they haven't smiled this much in two years, that it's the first time in two years they felt hope, patriotism, and they felt proud to be Canadian. [00:34:00] And I think everybody, whether you like this movement or not, whether you think you like it or you think you hate it, go down for the day and see it for yourself and then come to your own conclusion. [00:34:09] Because there's too many people saying these are extremists, shut them down and shut them up. [00:34:14] And they have no idea what is actually going down. [00:34:15] Well, yeah. [00:34:16] And the whole Nazi Confederate thing, I could almost guarantee you those were fake ops. [00:34:20] I mean, it's just like they were crinkled flags. [00:34:21] Like, what would a Confederate flag have to do with Canada? [00:34:23] The whole thing is so ridiculous. [00:34:25] If there were two of them, and I mean, two individuals, one of whom was the only guy wearing a face mask, a ski mask, like you would use to rob a bank and had sunglasses on. [00:34:35] The only thing you saw was his mouth. [00:34:36] And he's there with the Confederate flag. [00:34:38] Like it's illogical. [00:34:40] And the other person carrying a swastika happened to have a camera person within three feet of him, despite being on the fringe outside of this protest. [00:34:47] And they were the only two. [00:34:48] Those are the only two images. [00:34:50] This thing is being documented by multiple live streamers in real time. [00:34:54] Those are the only two idiotic images that anyone's pulled from this protest. [00:34:57] And the media and the politicians run with it, tweet it, retweet it, promote it like it's the rule. [00:35:02] And by the way, the guy with the Confederate flag and the ski mask, I personally know the individual who told him to get out of there that nobody wanted to see him. [00:35:09] I know that individual personally. [00:35:10] So these people are not even welcome at this protest. [00:35:13] They don't want anyone violent. [00:35:14] They don't want anyone disruptive. [00:35:16] They don't even want people getting too drunk and misbehaving, even incidentally, because you know damn well the CBC and the other legacy news are going to pick that example and say, Look at this rowdy, drunk idiots. [00:35:26] This has nothing to do with freedom, it has to do with partying and getting drunk. [00:35:30] So it is quite a time to be alive. [00:35:33] Viva, thank you so much. [00:35:34] God bless you. [00:35:34] My pleasure. [00:35:35] Thank you for the great coverage. [00:35:36] Talk to you soon. [00:35:39] Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
