[00:01:28] What would you say? [00:01:33] Please take a seat. [00:01:34] Everybody, I want to just give a thanks to our amazing Turning Point USA staff that have put all this on. [00:01:38] The work they have put in is unbelievable. [00:01:40] Give it up for our Turning Point USA staff. [00:01:43] They've done an unbelievable job. [00:01:47] And we have people from all across the country here. [00:01:50] And for those of you that have been coming to Turning Point USA events for a couple years, look around, everybody. [00:01:56] You are not alone, and we're going to win. [00:01:58] And we're going to win big time. [00:01:59] Look around. [00:02:00] It's unbelievable. [00:02:05] We are here to celebrate the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world. [00:02:12] We're here to reclaim the narrative. [00:02:16] We have over 10,000 people from all across the country. [00:02:20] I'm told we have people from all 50 states, from Alaska. [00:02:23] Who's from Alaska out there? [00:02:24] Someone's there. [00:02:25] Right there, from Hawaii. [00:02:26] Who's from Hawaii? [00:02:27] Someone's got to be from Hawaii. [00:02:28] There to California. [00:02:30] We won't hold that against you. [00:02:33] How about Texas? [00:02:34] We got some people from Texas here. [00:02:38] And Arizona. [00:02:39] I mean, come on, we got some people from Arizona. [00:02:46] America is our home. [00:02:50] And what's been going on in our country for far too long is we have allowed self-interested politicians and liars to take advantage of us and destroy our home. [00:03:01] No more. [00:03:02] We're taking back our country, everybody. [00:03:03] We're not going to let it happen anymore. [00:03:07] We have a unique history and culture as Americans. [00:03:11] We need to be unafraid to say that. [00:03:13] Unfortunately, the fact that we as Americans have to now tolerate the renaming of schools from Abraham Lincoln to some sort of woke nonsense in San Francisco. [00:03:26] The fact that we are not putting up statues to Thomas Jefferson, but instead tearing them down, we as Americans must understand that it's a gift we get to live in the United States of America, a gift from God that we get to be Americans, the freest, most prosperous, greatest nation ever to exist. [00:03:45] America has always been focused on eternal principles rooted in the natural law. [00:03:51] We as conservatives, we are people that want to conserve the good, the true, and the beautiful against those that want to try and destroy it. [00:03:59] That means, and you saw this in the last year, and I'll talk about it in a second, that it's one thing to post something on television or to do something weird on social media. [00:04:09] It's another thing to try to indoctrinate your kids. [00:04:11] We're not going to tolerate that anymore. [00:04:13] Parents are going to be first. [00:04:18] We celebrate our birthday every July. [00:04:21] The fact that we as a nation have a birthday is a big deal. [00:04:25] July 4th, 1776, when Thomas Jefferson wrote, When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands of that which is tied to them and never separate, but equal station, which derives from the laws of nature and nature's God, everybody, no other country in the history of the planet, in the history of the human species, was founded on an eternal call that says you as a human being have dignity. [00:04:50] That you have a right to speech, that you have a right to organize, that you have a right to start a family. [00:04:55] And we recognize in America, despite what the regime says currently, that those rights do not come from government. [00:05:02] They come from God and you have them naturally. [00:05:13] And they can never take them away. [00:05:15] It is government's role to protect our rights against tyranny. [00:05:18] Government does not give you rights. [00:05:20] Government is not going to tell you how many people you get to have over for Thanksgiving or Christmas. [00:05:25] They work for us. [00:05:26] The United States Constitution starts with we, the people. [00:05:30] They work for us, everybody. [00:05:36] We love our country. [00:05:39] But right now, I'm not loving our government. [00:05:42] We need to make that difference because if you dare say that you don't like your government, the media says that you're unpatriotic. [00:05:51] Questioning your government is one of the most patriotic things a citizenry can do. [00:06:01] Never in American history have we seen the government so disconnected from the people. [00:06:08] This is what I think drives all of you to come to an event like this. [00:06:12] This is what motivates you to run for school board. [00:06:14] Who's running for school board, by the way? [00:06:16] Raise your hand. [00:06:17] God bless you. [00:06:19] You're taking back the country. [00:06:20] By the way, who homeschools? [00:06:22] Anyone homeschool here? [00:06:23] Raise your hand. [00:06:24] You are the heroes. [00:06:24] Give it up for our homeschooling parents. [00:06:30] The people are with us. [00:06:33] Our leaders are not. [00:06:35] The disconnect between our leaders and you has never been greater. [00:06:41] How many times do we send politicians to Washington, D.C. or Sacramento, where they say they're going to do one thing and they do the exact opposite? [00:06:50] You see, America has the greatest people on earth. [00:06:55] America is the most generous, decent, benevolent, forward-thinking, productive people on the planet. [00:07:03] And we have been abused for far too long by a self-righteous ruling class. [00:07:09] And both parties, by the way, it's not even political. [00:07:11] I think we all agree. [00:07:12] This is not even about parties. [00:07:14] This is about right versus wrong and truth versus lies and light versus darkness, everybody. [00:07:25] Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. [00:07:26] People make a big deal out of New Year's resolutions, but I want you to commit to one right now. [00:07:31] Resolve to do something that will help make this country get its greatness again and get back on track. [00:07:37] Like supporting causes and companies that share our values. [00:07:40] I'm proud to tell you about my friends at Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative cell phone provider. [00:07:45] I use Patriot Mobile and you should too. [00:07:47] They offer broad nationwide coverage. [00:07:49] In fact, they use the same towers as the major carriers. [00:07:52] So you get the same great nationwide coverage, plus the peace of mind that your money isn't supporting the radical left. [00:07:58] Patriot Mobile has plans to fit any budget, and is 100% U.S.-based customer support team provides exceptional customer support. [00:08:25] Patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie, patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie. [00:08:29] Or call 972-Patriot or call 972-PATRIOT. [00:08:36] So, how does the ruling class treat you? [00:08:39] While our borders are wide open, over 2 million people are crossing into our country so far. [00:08:46] Inflation double digits. [00:08:50] We give 85 billion dollars of weapons to the Taliban. [00:08:53] I could go on. [00:08:54] What's the priority? [00:08:58] The priority was that all of a sudden you saw the Department of Justice in September issue a memo saying that moms and dads that show up to school board meetings across the country need to be treated like domestic terrorists. [00:09:16] Now, when the Department of Justice issued that letter, something different happened. [00:09:23] Because the conservative movement that was around 10 years ago would have been really intimidated by that. [00:09:31] 10 years ago, we would have been like, Wow, the Department of Justice is saying that we have to sit down and shut up. [00:09:38] But you know what happened next? [00:09:40] More people showed up to school board meetings once that memo was written. [00:09:44] More people started to question what their kids were learning. [00:09:47] More people said, You are not going to teach critical race theory to my child. [00:09:51] I'm not going to put up with this. [00:09:54] And what was amazing is that the regime realized that there's something new happening in this country and it's unexpected. [00:10:03] And what's happening is all of a sudden, we, the sovereign in this country, are finally reclaiming our rightful role as citizens of this great country. [00:10:14] Not participants, not spectators, but participants in this experiment. [00:10:18] A nation is defined by its people. [00:10:21] And the moms and dads that have been showing up to these school board meetings, running for school board, and doing these amazing things on the city and local level, all of a sudden, this is happening in all 50 states, in counties all across the country. [00:10:35] And we must realize, as conservatives, as people who love freedom, that there's a fundamental difference between America as a country, which we are, and that we're not a colony. [00:10:48] This is not a place where all of a sudden you just get to go make a bunch of money and leave. [00:10:52] We are a country that has an economy in it. [00:10:55] We are not an economy that happens to be in a country. [00:10:58] Now, what we have is a ruling class, people in charge, Bezos, Zuckerberg, plutocrats that hate you, that think they can make as much money off of you as possible. [00:11:10] Go give $100 million to BLM Incorporated and then get out of here. [00:11:15] There are more important things than making money in this world, everybody. [00:11:20] Passing your values down to your children, having a nation you can recognize, having a southern border, making sure that this beautiful gift that we've been given continues for future generations. [00:11:33] And this is what makes this gathering different and this conservative movement different. [00:11:37] We'll talk about high taxes and low taxes. [00:11:40] We'll talk about free markets. [00:11:41] We love all of those things. [00:11:43] But we know there's a deeper game being played, everybody, than tax policy right now in our country. [00:11:48] The game that's being played is very simple. [00:11:50] Are you thankful that you're an American or are you angry that you're an American? [00:11:54] And are you willing to do something about it? [00:11:57] That's the difference. [00:11:58] And everybody here is committing that we're no longer going to accept the managed decline of America. [00:12:05] We're not going to accept these weak need politicians that continually say one thing and then do another. [00:12:13] And so we all know America is on very fragile footing. [00:12:17] We know out of all the different kinds of different things that are happening in front of us. [00:12:22] And I want to speak specifically to the students in the audience. [00:12:25] And by the way, turning point USA students out there, you guys are American heroes for what you guys are doing on college and high school campuses. [00:12:36] It is very hard to be a conservative in America. [00:12:40] It's especially hard to be a young conservative on college campuses because guess what? [00:12:45] They're telling the rest of the world, I don't care if you call me a racist, a bigot, a homophobe, a colonialist. [00:12:52] I don't care if you kick me out of the fraternity or sorority. [00:12:54] My country matters more than my social status. [00:12:57] My country matters more than my Instagram likes. [00:13:00] My country matters more than my TikTok popularity. [00:13:04] My nation matters more than whether or not I'm popular on a college campus. [00:13:08] And my challenge is some of the adults out here, you could be inspired by the courage of these young conservatives on campuses that take that leap of faith. [00:13:20] But our generation, even a little bit younger, has some very specific challenges. [00:13:26] We would be fooling ourselves if we were saying that this generation has all the same opportunities in front of them that prior generations had. [00:13:34] Now, let me be clear. [00:13:36] I think that kind of there's something to be said that young people sometimes can work harder and apply themselves better. [00:13:42] Fine. [00:13:43] I think it's a mistake, though, when all of a sudden there's kind of this generational lecturing that occurs. [00:13:48] Like, come on, when I was young, I didn't have to go to debt to go to college. [00:13:52] I could work my way through it. [00:13:54] Yeah, the game has changed if you haven't found out. [00:13:57] And the best example of one of the great moral injustices ever done to our generation was how we mishandled the Fauci Chinese coronavirus. [00:14:11] And by the way, Fauci should be in prison for how he handled the Chinese coronavirus. [00:14:30] Just so the media hears, so the media is going to write this up. [00:14:34] It's lock him up. [00:14:35] Am I hearing that right? [00:14:36] Lock him up? [00:14:38] That's right. [00:14:40] It's a crime against our generation and a crime against humanity, what that self-righteous sycophant has been able to do to you, your family, and your children. [00:14:53] Now, for a virus that already had a 99.5 survivability rate, for a virus that was not an existential threat to humanity, let alone to our generation, what did we decide to do? === Lock Down a Generation (02:43) === [00:15:08] Lock down a generation that was not at significant risk. [00:15:12] Take away their prom, their graduation, their social activities, in-person learning. [00:15:17] We saw increases in depression, suicide, mental health issues, medication, the most suicidal, the most depressed, the most alcohol-addicted generation in American history. [00:15:28] Then, as soon as we start to reopen the economy, millennials try to go buy a home and everything's 50% more expensive because we decided to go create $7 trillion that we don't have to go inflate all the hard assets in our country. [00:15:40] It was a scam played towards the next generation. [00:15:44] And on top of it, we say, oh, now you have to go get a vaccine. [00:15:55] Now you have to go get a vaccine against your will. [00:15:57] And if you don't, you can't go work at a job, even though you might have already got the virus. [00:16:02] And you might not be at risk from getting the virus that you already have, because you got to get a vaccine, even though you already had the virus to make sure you don't get it. [00:16:08] But it actually doesn't make sure you don't get the virus that you shouldn't get because you might die, not die from the virus you shouldn't get. [00:16:14] Am I following this correctly? [00:16:15] If it doesn't make sense, it does it because it's insane. [00:16:20] Look, as I'm recording this episode right now, I'm using a very important product. [00:16:24] Listen carefully. [00:16:25] It's called Express VPN. [00:16:27] They anonymize your data. [00:16:28] You can surf the internet freely without wondering who's getting a hold of your search history or viewing habits or what they will do with that information. [00:16:36] Do you want the government to be reading over your shoulder every time you go online? [00:16:39] There's never been a more important time to protect your internet activity. [00:16:42] That's why I urge you to get Express VPN. [00:16:45] When you search for something online, watch a video or click a link, it all gets tracked by big tech companies. [00:16:52] They match your activity to your true identity using your device's unique IP address. [00:16:57] When I use ExpressVPN, these companies can't see my IP address at all. [00:17:01] My identity is anonymized by a secure VPN server, and my data is encrypted for maximum protection. [00:17:07] And besides hiding my internet activity, what I like most about ExpressVPN is how easy it is to use. [00:17:13] Just download the app on your phone or computer, tap one button, and you're protected. [00:17:17] So stop handing over your data willingly. [00:17:20] Go to expressvpn.com slash Charlie. [00:17:23] That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com slash Charlie. [00:17:27] Go to expressvpn.com slash Charlie right now to learn more. [00:17:34] We at Turning Point USA have been very clear about this. [00:17:39] And the fact that not every conservative has said this out loud and repeatedly, no one should be forced to get the vaccine against their will under any circumstances whatsoever. [00:17:51] Period. === Virus of Political Correctness (08:35) === [00:17:52] End of story. [00:18:12] And not to mention, we're not even allowed to talk about early treatments. [00:18:16] We're not even allowed to have a conversation, thought crimes, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, vitamin C, azithromycin, aspirin, monoclonal antibodies, or regeneron. [00:18:26] No, we're not even allowed to talk about that. [00:18:28] Instead, it's a one-size-fits-all policy. [00:18:30] Why? [00:18:31] Because if you ever talked about early treatments or early intervention, then you might not have been as afraid. [00:18:38] You see, tyrants capitalize on your fear. [00:18:42] Authoritarians want you to be in a position of fear all the time. [00:18:47] We used to say you have nothing to fear but fear itself. [00:18:50] Now we say we have to shut down New York City over Omicron, even though no one's died from it. [00:18:55] It's almost as if the ruling class made $3.8 trillion of a wealth transfer of addicting you to screens to buy products you don't need to try to jab your children against a virus that probably won't kill them at all, like statistically at all. [00:19:08] And all of a sudden what we're seeing, and we see it all across this room and across the country, people waking up to exactly the motivations of either Fauci or the whole ruling class, which is very simple. [00:19:21] This was a means to the end for them to try to control your life and your children. [00:19:26] And we are not going to let that happen, everybody. [00:19:29] We are waking up against the medical industrial complex, and we're making up, we're waking up to the measures against us. [00:19:37] But it's not the only virus in America. [00:19:41] I think there's actually a more dangerous virus than the Chinese coronavirus out there. [00:19:48] The media, that's pretty good, I gotta say. [00:19:50] It's hard to disagree with that. [00:19:53] It's the virus, and there's a lot of different words to describe it. [00:19:57] Wokeism, diversity, equity, inclusion, critical race theory, and it's everywhere. [00:20:04] At Columbia University, they have black-only graduation ceremonies. [00:20:08] At Western Washington University, they have black-only dormitories. [00:20:12] United Airlines is now announcing that 50% of all the new pilots they're going to hire are going to be black pilots. [00:20:19] I don't know about you. [00:20:20] I don't care about the color of the skin of my pilot. [00:20:22] I hope he can or she can land the plane when they need to land the plane. [00:20:32] They have been trying to implement this existential threat against the American way of life. [00:20:39] You know, I'm old enough to remember that when you actually cared about people's skin color, you were rightly called a racist when you cared about people's skin color. [00:20:48] Where we should judge people based on character, not based on the color of their skin. [00:20:53] We should judge them based on things they can change, not they can't change. [00:20:58] But what the problem is, is so many people are afraid to even touch this because they're afraid of being called the worst thing you could be called in American society. [00:21:08] And no, it's not an adulterer or an axe murderer. [00:21:10] It's a racist. [00:21:12] And it's too bad because there's a widespread issue with that term. [00:21:18] There's a supply and demand issue with racism in America. [00:21:22] America is such a un-racist, non-racist country. [00:21:26] We have people like Jussie Smollett that need to make up racial incidents in the middle of the night in Chicago to try to prove that we are racist when he hires two Nigerian brothers wearing Make America Great Again hats when it's negative 30 degrees outside while he's going to Subway to try to prove that we're so racist. [00:21:43] That's proof that there's not enough racism out there to prove the fact that America's racist. [00:21:47] We're the least racist country ever to exist in the history of the world. [00:21:50] Period. [00:21:57] We also are suffering under the virus of political correctness. [00:22:01] Now, I'm going to say some things you're not allowed to say. [00:22:06] Only women can become pregnant. [00:22:08] That's it. [00:22:08] I said it. [00:22:09] I know. [00:22:10] I know. [00:22:13] There are only two genders. [00:22:19] Men are different than women. [00:22:21] I know. [00:22:21] It's... [00:22:27] Why have we allowed this nonsense to get as far as it is? [00:22:32] The reason, and we're breaking that right now at this conference and to our amazing people watching online and to our amazing sponsors and the people streaming live on Fox Nation and all that, is this, is we're breaking it because you need to not care what they call you when you say something that is true. [00:22:50] You need to not care what they call you when you say something that is true. [00:22:55] We live under the tyranny of their social conformity. [00:22:59] We live under the tyranny that they hold the cards like, well, I might not be invited to the Cool Kids Club. [00:23:04] Look around. [00:23:04] You're at the coolest kids club in America right now, everybody. [00:23:07] Who cares what they have? [00:23:10] The point is this, is that everything they are, they accuse us of. [00:23:16] They say, yeah, you know, the right is really intolerant. [00:23:18] Meanwhile, you're not allowed to come on any college campus. [00:23:21] Meanwhile, they say that, you know, we have a racial problem in the country, yet they're the ones that are focusing on people's skin color. [00:23:28] Very simply, people say, how do we retake the country? [00:23:31] It can happen overnight. [00:23:33] We can retake the country when decent people start to care more about a greater good and about what is right than whether or not their personal cost will be. [00:23:42] And guess what? [00:23:44] For some of you out there that are business owners, you say, well, Charlie, you know, I can't push back against this. [00:23:49] I might lose business. [00:23:50] You're right, you might. [00:23:51] Charlie, I don't know if I could speak out against this. [00:23:53] I might not be able to get a job in my field. [00:23:56] You're right. [00:23:57] The question is, what matters more? [00:24:00] That's the question. [00:24:02] And here's the open secret that no one wants to tell you out loud. [00:24:07] We will not defeat the left and we will not destroy what they're trying to do without every single person in this room sacrificing some form of comfort. [00:24:15] It's that simple. [00:24:17] It will not happen. [00:24:18] If you think your life will just become instantaneously and immediately better, no matter what, and you're also going to be able to stand for conservative principles and say only women can become pregnant and say that America is the least racist country in the history of the world and say that white privilege is a racist myth that doesn't exist. [00:24:35] If you're willing to say these things, then yeah, you'll pay a price. [00:24:38] But look around. [00:24:39] When all of a sudden thousands and thousands and millions of people are saying it, they realize that all of a sudden they have been ruling under the tyranny of a minority because there are more of us than them. [00:24:50] There are more Americans that believe things that you do not have to overthink about. [00:24:55] You don't have to say, you know, do we need some sort of campus, you know, lecture or study about whether men and women are different. [00:25:04] Like, yeah, I mean, some ideas are so stupid, you have to go to college to believe them. [00:25:07] Like, we know that, right? [00:25:12] As many of you know, most of corporate America is going woke, and that includes those companies who are investing your hard-earned retirement money. [00:25:20] Well, guess what? [00:25:21] I finally found a financial planning and investment firm that supports our values. [00:25:25] PAX Financial Group in San Antonio, Texas. [00:25:28] Here's the great news. [00:25:29] Now you don't have to live in Texas to work with them because San Antonio is a military city. [00:25:34] They have clients worldwide. [00:25:36] The thing that I like about PAX Financial Group is they have biblical responsible investments. [00:25:41] These investments screen out companies that promote abortion, pornography, alcohol, drugs, gambling, and are anti-family or anti-Christian. [00:25:49] Look, if you have $150,000 or more in your IRA, 401ks, or other investments, and you want to speak to my friends at PAX, visit paxfinancialgroup.com. [00:25:59] That's paxfinancialgroup.com. [00:26:01] Right now, they want to offer you a free e-book to learn about biblical responsible investing. [00:26:07] Grab this e-book right now at paxfinancialgroup.com. [00:26:11] Let's start investing in companies and make everyone's liberty a priority. [00:26:18] It stops when we start to say we care about what is right in the future of the nation more than what we could do what they could do against us. === The 1619 Project Garbage (02:45) === [00:26:27] We are a nation suffering from amnesia. [00:26:30] Put simply, we are a nation that has Alzheimer's. [00:26:34] We do not know our history, our past. [00:26:37] Therefore, we don't really know where to go forward. [00:26:40] And they're doing this intentionally. [00:26:43] Why do you think they're trying to take down the statues of Teddy Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln? [00:26:49] Now, they say it's, oh, it's because those people were terribly racist and awful. [00:26:53] It's a bunch of nonsense. [00:26:53] You know it. [00:26:54] These people were heroes. [00:26:55] They built the country that we get to enjoy. [00:26:56] Okay, it's that simple. [00:26:57] It's nonsense. [00:26:59] Instead, the reason is they don't want you to have a historical reference point of something that is amazing and mighty and courageous. [00:27:10] They want you to act as if you're the first humans ever to exist. [00:27:14] They want you to believe that no one came before you and might have actually sacrificed so you can live free. [00:27:22] And the deeper significance of this, and this is why we as conservatives need to understand the broader game at play here, is that when they all of a sudden say, yeah, we're going to teach the 1619 project, and by the way, Nicole Hannah Jones, if you're watching this, the 1619 project is total garbage and you're a con artist and it should be taken out of every single school in the country. [00:27:41] It's absolute nonsense. [00:27:44] Never does Nicole Hannah Jones talk about how Thomas Jefferson actually banned the importation of slaves into the United States as one of his first acts as president in March of 1803. [00:27:54] Never does Nicole Hannah Jones actually ever talk about how Thomas Jefferson argued for the abolition of slavery as the Virginia governor in the 1790s. [00:28:02] Never does Nicole Hannah Jones from the 1619 project ever talk about in the original draft of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, did Thomas Jefferson actually admonish King George for bringing the sin of slavery to the United States. [00:28:14] Never does Nicole Hannah Jones say nine out of 13 of the original colonies actually had abolished slavery by ratification of the U.S. Constitution. [00:28:22] Never did Nicole Hannah Jones ever teach your kids the first anti-slavery convention was where? [00:28:26] Held in Philadelphia in 1775. [00:28:28] Why? [00:28:29] Because she's a liar and she shouldn't be a professor and she shouldn't be teaching your children anything about U.S. history. [00:28:34] Doesn't teach any of that. [00:28:35] But the point is not any of that. [00:28:37] The deeper point is that we have to have the humility and the understanding that you stand on the shoulders of people before you that even allowed you to have freedom. [00:28:53] Imagine the pride, the hubris it would take to say that everything I have is a byproduct of my own action. [00:29:03] That's basically what they say every single day, is that anything before you is racist and terrible and awful? [00:29:10] We know it's exactly the opposite. === Gratitude Stops Revolution (04:40) === [00:29:13] And that's rooted in gratitude. [00:29:15] You see, gratitude, if a nation is thankful, if a nation has gratitude, then all of a sudden it's harder to have a revolution, isn't it? [00:29:26] Do you notice that people don't say thank you as often as they used to? [00:29:30] Not just in interpersonal relationships, but also thank you to the parents that raised you, that allowed you to have the opportunities you have. [00:29:39] Thank you to the organizations or efforts that try to make America a freer place, or most importantly, thank you to God for giving you life, because life is really special. [00:29:50] Now, why is that important? [00:29:52] As soon as you say thank you, it slows you down and actually makes you a happier person and a less bitter person. [00:30:00] And what we're experiencing is a generation of students and young people that are being trained to do this, but also by, you know, the self-righteous ruling class that are basically saying that you have nothing to be thankful for and you have nothing to be thankful to. [00:30:19] You see, we have a totally different perspective. [00:30:21] We say we're small in this unwinding plan all around us. [00:30:28] That life is a miracle in and of itself. [00:30:30] The fact that we have consciousness and our ability to breathe is something so beyond even human reason. [00:30:36] And the fact you're able to live in a country where you can gather like this and be around amazing friends, let's just talk about the West. [00:30:44] You think gatherings like this are happening in Australia right now? [00:30:47] How about the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria? [00:30:50] Of course not. [00:30:51] You have 10 people in a room in Australia. [00:30:54] They bring in the police. [00:30:56] And yet here we have 10,000 people gathered in a room. [00:30:59] There's something special about that, and it's unique. [00:31:02] But put simply, is that, and we all know this, the nation is not going to save itself. [00:31:10] We are living on the last gasp of the sacrifices of the generation that stormed Normandy Beach, the last gasp of the generation that gave us this. [00:31:21] And so here's the question, and I think I know the answer. [00:31:24] Will our generations, millennials, generation Z right there, are we willing to do what is necessary to sacrifice what might feel good for something that is good? [00:31:35] Because guess what? [00:31:36] Our opposition, we have an amazing advantage. [00:31:40] Their ideas are awful. [00:31:43] They tend to be very angry, bitter people. [00:31:47] They're always trying to destroy, and they've never built anything in their life. [00:31:54] Ever. [00:31:56] And so we have this advantage where we get to be the ambassadors of gratitude and optimism, of large families and getting married early and having lots of children. [00:32:06] We get to be the ambassadors of reality, of things that you can see. [00:32:12] As Thomas Jefferson said, the laws of nature and nature's God. [00:32:16] I want to do one housekeeping thing. [00:32:17] Raise your hand if you came to this event alone not knowing anybody. [00:32:21] Raise your hand. [00:32:21] Okay. [00:32:22] If you are part of a turning point chapter or you know, or you know other people, go find people that just raise their hand and make sure by the end of tonight they know somebody else. [00:32:31] The fact that young people, we have high school kids that traveled the country alone just to be here. [00:32:36] And it's amazing. [00:32:39] They should not leave this event or this room tonight without somebody saying, hey, do you want to hang out with us? [00:32:45] Hey, do you want to get to know us? [00:32:48] Whatever. [00:32:49] The point is that that's a leap of faith and we want to make sure that we help you guys out in any way possible. [00:32:55] In closing, let me say this. [00:32:57] This event is so special. [00:33:00] And this all started when I was 18 years old. [00:33:04] And I want to just say thanks to Bill Montgomery, who's passed away, for his amazing mentorship and help for what he did for all of us in this room. [00:33:11] What are we fighting for in America? [00:33:13] Only in America, freedom as well. [00:33:16] Only in America, though, could an 18-year-old with no money, no college, no connections, and no idea what he was doing, start something from nothing in a small garage in Lamont, Illinois. [00:33:26] And one thing led to the other. [00:33:28] It's now the largest grassroots conservative freedom movement in the country. [00:33:32] And that's thanks to you. [00:33:33] God bless you guys. [00:33:34] Thank you so much. [00:33:37] Thanks so much for listening, everybody. [00:33:39] Email us your thoughts. [00:33:39] As always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
