[00:02:23] His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. [00:02:31] We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. [00:02:40] That's why we are here. [00:02:43] There is so much going on in the news today that we want to cover. [00:02:47] Over the weekend, a story that kept growing of great importance and significance is this drama with Tucker Carlson and the United States military. [00:03:00] Now, whether Tucker Carlson realizes it or not, Tucker Carlson is running the Republican Party. [00:03:07] Tucker Carlson is the most powerful person that is not a leftist in the country, even more so than Donald Trump right now. [00:03:13] Right now. [00:03:15] What Tucker Carlson says, what Tucker Carlson does, his thoughts and his ideas impact an entire political movement. [00:03:22] No other cable talk show hosts. [00:03:24] And with the unfortunate passing of my friend Rush Limbaugh, all eyes are on Tucker Carlson. [00:03:30] And Tucker Carlson is so smart, clever, intelligent, and wise, the mainstream media doesn't really know what to do with him. [00:03:40] In fact, a new article that just came out, I'm going to pull it up here. [00:03:43] It says that Tucker Carlson is the new Donald Trump. [00:03:48] Every comedian, every single talk show host has made it their almost minute-by-minute duty to try to attack Tucker Carlson. [00:03:58] Now, Tucker Carlson has something that most people do not have in American politics. [00:04:02] He has courage and he has clarity. [00:04:05] He understands why he believes what he believes, and he understands why he's in this fight at this moment. [00:04:11] And so Tucker Carlson got in a great deal of controversy for saying nothing wrong. [00:04:17] And we're going to break this down piece by piece. [00:04:20] In fact, what he said was deemed so controversial that the United States military, that's right, the United States military that can literally launch a Tomahawk missile to any square inch of land on the planet decided to make this their primary focus over the weekend. [00:04:36] Hear what Tucker Carlson had to say. [00:04:38] So we've got new hairstyles and maternity flight suits. [00:04:42] Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. [00:04:44] It's a mockery of the U.S. military. [00:04:47] While China's military becomes more masculine as it's assembled the world's largest navy, our military needs to become, as Joe Biden says, more feminine. [00:04:55] Whatever feminine means anymore, since men and women no longer exist. [00:04:59] The bottom line is it's out of control. [00:05:02] And the Pentagon's going along with this. [00:05:03] Again, this is a mockery of the U.S. military and its core mission, which is winning wars. [00:05:08] Now, what is Tucker Carlson really talking about here? [00:05:11] He's talking about this disturbing trend of critical race theory and wokeism that is finding its way into the greatest military ever assembled in the history of the world. [00:05:20] Tucker Carlson is a talk show host. [00:05:23] He's also an intellectual. [00:05:24] Tucker Carlson knows exactly what he's doing here. [00:05:28] He is starting a robust and factual conversation, a fire alarm, if you will, around how our U.S. military is becoming a college campus. [00:05:36] It's becoming a social experiment. [00:05:38] And he's exactly right. [00:05:39] Now, mind you, Tucker Carlson never attacked women in the military. [00:05:42] He didn't. [00:05:43] There are some phenomenal women that have served in the U.S. military and still do, courageously. [00:05:48] It says right here at Desert, yeah, I've never heard of this website before. [00:05:53] Tucker Carlson, after host, puts down women in the military. [00:05:56] He never did that. [00:05:57] What he did was say, wait a second, should pregnant women be serving in the U.S. military? [00:06:02] So what is the mission statement of the United States military? [00:06:05] The mission statement is to win wars, kill people, and break things. [00:06:11] And that might be a brutal description, but it's not about effectuating social change. [00:06:17] It's not about making friends. [00:06:18] It's not around trying to find the ties that bind us together. [00:06:25] The United States military is about protecting the homeland, winning wars quickly and hopefully decisively. [00:06:35] So what Tucker Carlson is doing here is he's setting off a siren, a warning sign saying, hey, this is not heading in the right direction. [00:06:46] Just so we're clear, pregnant women are not even recommended to ride roller coasters or get x-rays. [00:06:54] Why should they be recommended to serve in the United States military? [00:06:57] Now, that is not an attack on pregnant women. [00:06:59] I'm one of the most outspoken pro-life advocates out there. [00:07:02] In fact, this last weekend, I spoke in Cleveland at a pro-life conference. [00:07:06] And hello again to everyone listening on 1420 in Cleveland. [00:07:10] Instead, it's about who should be serving in the United States military. [00:07:14] And so this idea of critical race theory, wokeism, and social justice ideology is now forefront in the U.S. military. [00:07:23] So how does the U.S. military respond? [00:07:25] Well, the fact that they did respond was troubling. [00:07:29] Usually the United States military will just, if at anything, offer a press release and say, we decide not to comment. [00:07:37] We're going to continue with our mission. [00:07:38] Instead, a member of the military, here's Cut 10, U.S. Space Command senior enlisted leader, goes and responds to Tucker Carlson as if this is a social media dispute. [00:07:50] This guy acts as if this is Tucker Carlson versus Brian Stelter. [00:07:54] Wearing the United States military uniform, commenting on a domestic talk show host with an informed factual opinion, play tape. [00:08:04] Let me offer you my opinion. [00:08:06] And so he was talking specifically about pregnant women in the armed forces today and how it makes us less lethal and less fit and less ready. [00:08:13] Let me tell you where he's wrong. [00:08:15] Those decisions were made by medical professionals, by commanders, and our civilian leadership that allows for women to have more time with their children, to recuperate, to get fit and ready, to take that time that's necessary that our medical professionals know is needed, which actually makes us a more lethal and ready and fit force. [00:08:36] So why is it even necessary for him to respond? [00:08:39] The reason is because Tucker Carlson is a threat to what they are trying to do to the United States military. [00:08:46] If you were pro-China and if you were trying to encourage the Chinese Communist Party to take over the West, you would be cheering for this social justice warrior ideology to infiltrate the U.S. military. [00:09:02] And I want to build that out even more. [00:09:06] Because what's really happening here is no different than an existential military threat to our country within our own United States military. [00:09:18] A provocative yet true statement is that the United States military, by definition, must have standards. [00:09:26] And some of those standards are: our mission statement is to win wars, kill people, and break things. [00:09:32] If you asked some Democrat politicians, what is the mission statement of the United States military? [00:09:38] They'd say, well, it's to try and diversify its ranks. [00:09:43] And in response, the Defense Department comes out with a social media response to Tucker Carlson, as if the Department of Defense's social media department must be engaged in trying to one-up a domestic talk show host. [00:10:03] Tucker Carlson runs the Republican Party. [00:10:05] The sooner that you admit it, the sooner you realize it, the more this all makes sense. [00:10:10] Brian Stelter from CNN, Reliable Sources, comes out and says that Tucker Carlson is the new Donald Trump. [00:10:18] Now, what is Brian Stelter really saying? [00:10:20] He is telling all of his friends that watch his show on Sunday, which is just basically looking at his viewership numbers, only liberal journalists on Twitter watch his show. [00:10:30] He must now be our primary focus. [00:10:33] Tucker Carlson is the existential threat to our country, and we must go after him. [00:10:38] And let me be very clear: Tucker Carlson is someone they do not know how to deal with. [00:10:44] He's very clever, extraordinarily wise, and he has the one thing that I find lacking in almost every single public persona, including establishment Republicans. [00:10:54] He has courage. [00:10:56] He's unafraid to say what is right and what is wrong, and he has been so ahead of his time in diagnosing the true problems that have been plaguing our country. [00:11:07] The Chinese Communist Party is doing everything they possibly can to take over the West. [00:11:12] The Chinese Communist Party has the world's largest Navy and military. [00:11:17] They're building islands in the South China Sea. [00:11:20] They're trying to infiltrate our country at every cost, Confucius Institutes, paying off professors, hijacking our corporations. [00:11:29] If our leaders were smart, they would be growing closer to Japan and trying to have a vocal alliance, even more so with Japan, and allowing Japan to build up their military right near the Chinese Communist Party. [00:11:47] We have a base in Japan. [00:11:48] We should double, triple, and quadruple Japan's own ability to increase their civilian military force, a country with a rich tradition and history of having a warrior spirit. [00:12:01] Instead, the United States military is sending press releases trying to condemn Tucker Carlson. [00:12:09] The United States military is the greatest military in the history of the world because of its ability to be around a unified objective, the best technology, the best training, and of course, yes, the most funding. [00:12:26] The United States military sent out a press release and they said, the diversity of our military is one of our greatest strengths. [00:12:35] Now, while I agree, racial diversity is a strength. [00:12:38] It's what makes the United States military different than other militaries. [00:12:43] I don't think segregation of our armed forces was ever moral and ever correct. [00:12:47] However, is all forms of diversity good for the military? [00:12:51] Is ideological diversity good for the military? [00:12:54] Let me prove it to you. [00:12:56] The military is one of the few things where you do want unity and conformity over diversity. [00:13:05] The United States military should be a place where there is no dissension. [00:13:09] If everyone had their own opinion of when you attack the enemy, you wouldn't have a military. [00:13:15] You would have millions of armed people doing whatever they want. [00:13:19] And so while I think what Kirby here is saying, who runs John F. Kirby, is saying, there should be a lot of clarification offered here, much clarification. [00:13:35] Because if you have a military that focuses on differences and not on what brings us together, then that by definition weakens the strength and the power of the United States military. [00:13:51] The condemnation of Tucker Carlson continues by saying, to be sure, we will have a lot more work to make our military more inclusive, more respectful of everyone, especially women. [00:14:05] Why should the military seek to be more inclusive? [00:14:08] Now, that's a very honest question. [00:14:10] How does being more inclusive help the three-point mission statement of the United States military? [00:14:16] Win wars and win them quickly, kill people and break things. [00:14:20] How does a more inclusive military help us accomplish that? [00:14:24] The military is not a college campus, nor it should be. [00:14:27] The military should be preparing daily for looming conflict against the Chinese Communist Party. [00:14:33] Now, if you can make an argument that inclusivity allows us a better chance of those three things, then fine, so be it. [00:14:40] That argument is never made. [00:14:42] This is an emotionally based argument. [00:14:44] Now, everything I'm saying here is deemed politically incorrect by the gatekeepers, the social media tech titans, and the cancellation culture people. [00:14:51] I don't care. [00:14:53] The military is the one thing where we must draw a red line, and we must say we have uncompromising standards, physical standards, standards of belief, uniformity, and conformity, and a unified mission. [00:15:06] And if all of a sudden the United States military is going to become a social experiment, we will lose before a bullet is ever fired. [00:15:20] The word is out. [00:15:21] People are running away and abandoning their overpriced wireless carriers and flocking to PeerTalk for the same coverage. [00:15:28] But at a fraction of the price, if you're with Verizon ATT or T-Mobile, switching to PeerTalk could save your family over $800 a year. [00:15:36] And switching is very easy. [00:15:38] You can keep your phone, keep your number, or get huge discounts on the latest iPhones and Androids. [00:15:42] Like right now, you can get a new iPhone SE for just get this, $7 a month. [00:15:47] Plus, right now, taking advantage of unlimited talk text and six gigs of data for just $30 a month. [00:15:52] There's a reason why PeerTalk is the highest-rated wireless company by Consumer Affairs. [00:15:56] Stop giving your money to overpriced wireless carriers and start saving money. [00:15:59] From your cell phone, dial pound250 and say Charlie Kirk. [00:16:03] That's it. [00:16:03] Save on your wireless and get a brand new iPhone SE for just $7 a month. [00:16:07] That's pound250 and say Charlie Kirk. [00:16:13] We got an email asking for more clarification on the diversity comment. [00:16:19] Again, the U.S. military, having diversity of backgrounds and upbringings, racial diversity, is very, very admirable, and it does make the U.S. military strong and different. [00:16:31] Just spending the last couple days with a U.S. Marine, I grew in respect for the commitment the Marines have for our country and their sacrifice. [00:16:39] But diversity of mission, ideological diversity, is a very different thing. [00:16:46] And the U.S. military must have uniformity and not just centralized command, but the lack of any form of ideological diversity in the sense of what is our mission? [00:17:04] Why are we here? [00:17:05] That's a very important distinction. [00:17:08] Bill Maher has commented on this in a different way. [00:17:11] I think we have a cut from this. [00:17:12] He says that China is dominating the world while the United States is wasting time in a never-ending woke competition. [00:17:20] Play tape. [00:17:22] And finally, new rule, you're not going to win the battle for the 21st century if you are a silly people. [00:17:28] And Americans are a silly people. [00:17:30] Do you know who doesn't care that there's a stereotype of a Chinese man in a Dr. Seuss book? [00:17:36] China. [00:17:37] All 1.4 billion of them could give a crouching tiger flying f ⁇ . [00:17:42] On a national level, we've been having infrastructure week every week since 2009, but we never do anything. [00:17:49] Half the country is having a never-ending woke competition deciding whether Mr. Potato Head has a and the other half believes we have to stop the lizard people because they're eating babies. [00:18:02] So what is Bill Maher talking about here? [00:18:04] The trend of the weakening of the American spirit. [00:18:10] China is on pace to surpass the United States economically very soon. [00:18:17] They launched this virus on us that is well known. [00:18:21] Whether it was intentional or not, we will find out hopefully in the coming months and years as more investigations and more whistleblowers come out. [00:18:29] The Chinese coronavirus, more and more evidence is coming forward that it was a biological weapon developed in the laboratory of Wuhan. [00:18:40] But the virus that we must be vigilant about is wokeism. [00:18:47] The woke virus is infiltrating every single level of our culture. [00:18:53] And what's so stunning to me is how this has no consistency whatsoever. [00:19:00] And so, for example, the woke industrial complex says that we must remove Dr. Seuss because it is offensive to children. [00:19:10] The woke industrial complex says that we must remove Gone with the Wind because it's offensive and it's racist. [00:19:17] Aunt Jemima, Mr. Potato Head. [00:19:20] However, the woke industrial complex is perfectly fine with Cardi B, who's not a very smart person at all, doing one of the most graphic performances that I think you're allowed to put on network television. [00:19:36] But the point is that the dominant Power structure in our country. [00:19:43] They use as an excuse to try and censor other content because they say it's too offensive. [00:19:51] It harms our society. [00:19:52] But when it comes to legitimately offensive material that might harm the innocence of our children, they're perfectly fine with it. [00:20:01] In fact, I think, what was the news article that was sent this morning? [00:20:05] Yeah, Mr. Producer is right in my head. [00:20:09] CNN. [00:20:10] Cardi B and Megan the stallion served up a very sex-positive performance. [00:20:18] And again, I will spare you from the imagery or from the video of it. [00:20:22] In fact, if I probably showed this on my YouTube channel, I think that we'd be taken down by YouTube and the masters of Menlo Park for sensitive material. [00:20:33] Now, mind you, Tucker Carlson saying that our military might become weak deserves a response from our U.S. military. [00:20:40] Cardi B and Megan V stallion doing something that looks like an X-rated film, and that's not even my own description of it. [00:20:50] The New York Post says, quote, Cardi B's 2021 Grammys performance gets X-rated with stripper pole dancing. [00:20:58] That is the role model that millions of young women saw last evening at the Grammys. [00:21:05] Millions. [00:21:08] That's a reflection of the direction of our country. [00:21:12] It is parallel of where the country is going. [00:21:15] And so I think if we are honest about the contradiction of the censorship campaign that's happening, you will see that there is not just no consistency, there's inherent contradiction in how they go about this. [00:21:41] So some people call it cancel culture. [00:21:45] I call it the woke industrial complex. [00:21:47] It's taking over every single institution in our country. [00:21:49] And the people that dare call it out are then circled and they are targeted for potential cancellation. [00:21:59] And Tucker is in a lot of different ways uncancelable. [00:22:03] He's far too clever for Brian Stelter and for all those people to go after. [00:22:08] But what's really going on here? [00:22:10] What's really going on here is you have people that want to see the moral degradation of our society continue. [00:22:18] So Cardi B is praised for that X-rated performance. [00:22:22] Meanwhile, any sort of defense of traditional American history and culture is removed as being offensive. [00:22:29] So what is offensive to the left or offensive to the secular gatekeepers or the gatekeepers of our society and our culture, the people that control what your children consume, is indulge your worst impulses, but no matter what, do not get loyally married to somebody and have children. [00:22:50] That is very offensive. [00:22:52] And that is one of the main reasons why they're trying to remove every piece of literature and film that came before them. [00:22:59] This is the postmodernist disease that has infected every single institution in our country. [00:23:04] And we must not just stand back, stand up against it. [00:23:07] We must clearly call it out courageously, as Tucker Carlson has done, for what it actually is. [00:23:13] And right now, Xi Jinping, and what are they, 18 hours ahead of us, he's probably drinking a bottle of champagne right now, laughing and chuckling. [00:23:23] Because what the United States military has admitted, and they look at everything that we do, everything, they monitor it, is more of an admission of our weakness than any battle that we could possibly lose or war that we could flounder. [00:23:37] The Chinese Communist Party now knows that it's just a matter of time before they take us over, not necessarily militarily. [00:23:45] You see, the Chinese Communist Party are huge fans of globalism and wokeism, and they work together. [00:23:53] Globalism is the erosion of borders and a one-world government coming in. [00:23:59] Now, you might say, why would China be a fan of that? [00:24:02] Well, China actually never wants to enter into that agreement. [00:24:05] China wants the rest of the world to weaken itself voluntarily while they violate that agreement and then they take over the entire world. [00:24:13] They're also fans of wokeism. [00:24:15] They know that if it came to a conflict, currently China would probably lose. [00:24:20] But if they are able to convince the American population that their history, their language, their culture, their beliefs, and a pursuit of American greatness is actually evil, then we will do to ourselves what China wants to do to us. [00:24:36] They are trying to inflict an American suicide, and it's currently working. [00:24:42] You see, the Chinese Communist Party has plenty of vulnerabilities, lots of them. [00:24:47] If China even embraced a little bit of Western culture and freedom of speech, the Chinese Communist Party ruling class would be challenged and would probably topple from within. [00:24:58] However, China's trying to preempt that through a surveillance state, through a security state, and through a military state. [00:25:07] And so the question remains, or the real question we should be asking is, what's the best way to counter this? [00:25:17] And the best way to counter it is exactly what Tucker Carlson did. [00:25:21] Bold, definitive public statements against an existential threat to our country. [00:25:27] And what is that existential threat? [00:25:30] It is the social justice warrior woke competition that Bill Maher also called out. [00:25:36] John Oliver comes out and called Tucker Carlson a vessel for white supremacist talking points. [00:25:44] You're starting to see every single talentless, replaceable media hack and comedian gather together because they realize that Tucker and what he represents, which is a return to traditional American values and an unapologetic defense of the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world, resonates with millions of people and it must be stopped at all costs. [00:26:08] I want to reinforce something. [00:26:10] Our United States military is now commenting on domestic political talk shows. [00:26:16] The military. [00:26:18] They have aircraft carriers, tomahawk missiles, submarines, B-52 bombers, and drones at their disposal. [00:26:26] And they are issuing press releases as if Tucker Carlson is al-Qaeda, as if Tucker Carlson is ISIS. [00:26:38] What I have seen out of our leadership is calling China an adversary. [00:26:45] I see harsher press releases from our own military under this administration towards Tucker Carlson than to Xi Jinping. [00:26:54] That should tell you something. [00:26:55] Or to the Mullers of Iran. [00:26:58] Why is that? [00:26:59] It's because the true aims and objectives now of the people in charge is not American greatness. [00:27:09] It's an American power struggle. [00:27:15] Senator Tammy Duckworth wrote on Twitter, F. Tucker Carlson. [00:27:20] His comments are being misrepresented as if he said women should not serve. [00:27:23] He never said that. [00:27:24] He does not believe that. [00:27:26] Instead, he was signaling a fire alarm, a siren saying, hey, the direction this is heading, Which is the erosion of standards and the pursuit of inclusivity is going to make the American military weaker, more vulnerable to attacks, and it's a gift to the Chinese Communist Party. [00:27:48] That was his statement, and his statement is true. [00:27:51] So, the question should be: what are Republicans doing in response to this? [00:27:55] Are Republicans standing up? [00:27:58] Ted Cruz is. [00:27:59] But what is the legislative priority for Republicans right now? [00:28:02] It will shock you. [00:28:07] Look, we all know that the internet never forgets. [00:28:09] There has never been a more important time to protect your internet activity. [00:28:13] That's why I urge you to get Express VPN. [00:28:17] Everything you search for, watch, or click online can be tracked by big tech companies. [00:28:23] You need your own secure, anonymized server. [00:28:27] When I switch to ExpressVPN with my computer or phone, my IP address is masked by their secure VPN server. [00:28:34] The ExpressVPN application also encrypts my network data to protect my sensitive information from being compromised. [00:28:41] The ExpressVPN app, it's amazing. [00:28:44] You can use up to five devices simultaneously. [00:28:48] What I like most is how easy it is to use. [00:28:51] It just takes one click to protect all your devices. [00:28:55] That's why they're rated the number one VPN by CNET and Wired. [00:28:59] So stop handing over all of your data to big tech companies. [00:29:02] Go with the VPN that I trust for online protection. [00:29:06] Visit expressvpn.com/slash Charlie to get three months free on a one-year package. [00:29:12] That's expressvpn.com/slash Charlie to get a three extra months free. [00:29:19] Go to expressvpn.com/slash Charlie right now to learn more. [00:29:27] So what are Republicans doing that right now? [00:29:30] Our military is targeting a talk show host. [00:29:35] Our borders are wide open. [00:29:37] Millions of people are out of work. [00:29:39] Our children are not in school. [00:29:41] Suicide rates are going up. [00:29:42] Drug use is going up. [00:29:43] Alcoholism is going up. [00:29:45] Tech companies are censoring conservatives. [00:29:48] Newt Gingrich lost access to his Twitter account for doing nothing wrong. [00:29:52] So what are Republicans doing right now? [00:29:55] What's the Republican response to all this? [00:29:58] Because the Republicans, they're the ones that we work so hard to get into office. [00:30:01] And don't get me wrong, I voted for Republicans up and down the ballot. [00:30:04] I campaigned for Republicans because they're not Democrats and they're able to stop legislation. [00:30:10] But what's the agenda that they are presenting to the American people? [00:30:14] Well, while our borders are open, talk show hosts are being targeted by our military, and social media tech companies are doing what they want, Republicans have decided that their big new idea for America is to go repeal the estate tax. [00:30:30] The estate tax is a tax that happens with wealthy people that want to pass down their wealth or their assets to their kids. [00:30:40] Now, if you ask me, Charlie, do you want to get rid of the estate tax? [00:30:43] Yeah, sure. [00:30:44] That would be my answer. [00:30:46] I guess, okay, that's not exactly top priority right now. [00:30:50] The legislation was unveiled on Tuesday by Senators John Kennedy and John Thune and has been co-sponsored by 20 other Republican senators or about half of Senate Republicans, including Mitch McConnell and Representative Jason Smith from Missouri. [00:31:03] The federal estate tax, current tax rate, is 40%, but thanks to exemptions that grow every year, an estate in 2021 would have to be worth $11.7 million for individuals and $23.4 million for married couples before the estate tax kicks in. [00:31:16] Okay, their argument is that it hurts family farms. [00:31:19] I think that's probably right. [00:31:21] That's not a priority. [00:31:22] You want to stop being made fun of as the Chamber of Commerce ruling class billionaire party. [00:31:27] By the way, the billionaires hate you. [00:31:29] The billionaire class does not share the values of the pro-American party. [00:31:35] But instead of saying, like, hey, maybe we should stop this illegal immigration crisis, maybe we should work on rebuilding the nuclear family, maybe we should rebuild our urban cities, maybe we should have school choice, maybe we should have educational vouchers, maybe we should talk about challenging a corporate oligarchy that's raging in our country. [00:31:53] Maybe we should end the war in Afghanistan. [00:31:56] Maybe we should continue to do everything we possibly can to make sure the United States military doesn't target Tucker Carlson. [00:32:04] No, John Kennedy from Louisiana, who's typically pretty good, and John Thune, their new big idea is: hey, rich people are paying too much in tax. [00:32:14] And look, again, I'm a free market guy. [00:32:16] I agree with that if we were doing some sort of chalkboard whiteboard session. [00:32:20] But the wealthiest Americans had a wonderful year. [00:32:24] The wealthiest Americans increased their net worth by $750 billion in the last year. [00:32:32] And the Republicans' message is: we need to cut their taxes even more. [00:32:36] We need to make sure that the wealth can continue through many generations. [00:32:40] And again, I agree at that. [00:32:41] That's fine. [00:32:43] That is not a priority. [00:32:44] And this is why Republicans lose. [00:32:46] Republicans deserve election losses when you make this a legislative priority. [00:32:51] Instead of saying that we want to rebuild families, we want to give families money to have more children, we want to restrict immigration into our country, want to protect religious liberty, instead of saying we're going to stand next to pastors who are being threatened with imprisonment for opening their churches, that we are going to help small businesses to flourish and we're going to challenge the corporate oligarchy. [00:33:09] I have to be lectured from John Thune from South Dakota that billionaires might have to pay too high of a tax when they die. [00:33:17] That's the top priority of the Republican Party. [00:33:21] And this is why they lose. [00:33:22] And you want to know why Tucker Carlson is the most powerful person in the Republican Party? [00:33:26] Because he rejects this corporate oligarchy and he talks about things that matter. [00:33:31] This is why John Thune is not taken seriously by the mainstream media and Tucker Carlson is considered a threat. [00:33:37] Because Tucker Carlson knows that this set of ideas is going extinct and his new idea of a vibrant people-based conservatism is actually popular, which is why the military is targeting Tucker and why the entire activist media is trying to deplatform and debase him. [00:33:52] And they won't be successful. [00:33:57] There's so many different threats happening, and we're trying to monitor them. [00:34:00] And we're always going to tell you which ones are worthy of your attention and your focus. [00:34:04] H.R. 1, House Resolution 1, just happens to be the biggest threat. [00:34:08] And Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, two Democrats, are still saying the right thing: that they are going to protect the filibuster. [00:34:16] We're getting lots of questions at freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:34:19] And I love seeing your emails come in asking, well, what can I possibly do? [00:34:24] Well, prayer is helpful. [00:34:25] It really is. [00:34:26] But if you have a line of communication or you're just willing to say to Sinema and Manchin, please do the right thing, stand for the filibuster, stand for the rights of the minority in the U.S. Senate, I don't think HR1 will pass. [00:34:44] However, if they do something called the democracy reconciliation, it very well might pass. [00:34:51] I think it's H.R. 51 also that just got passed in the House that is trying to make, or they're about to pass it, I'm sorry, Washington, D.C., a state, which really should be unconstitutional. [00:35:05] And there's many different reasons for that. [00:35:10] Most specifically in the Constitution, it says that the capital must be a district. [00:35:15] However, there's been a piece of legislation that was passed that I want to focus on that was not met with uniform Republican opposition. [00:35:27] Spend a lot of time going after Joe Biden, the postmodernists, the woke industrial complex. [00:35:33] However, I also spend a good amount of time going after establishment weak Republicans that say one thing and they do another. [00:35:44] Now, if you understand the significance of the Bill of Rights and you understand how rare it is to have a First and a Second Amendment, then at any measure whatsoever that is proposed to try to take away our speech or our weapons should be made with fierce and intense opposition. [00:36:10] Now, later on in the hour, I'm going to talk about a chilling example of a country that does not have the First Amendment and how it actually pertains to a news item that I was involved in last week. [00:36:22] But let's start with the Second Amendment. [00:36:26] There is no First Amendment without the Second Amendment. [00:36:28] The Second Amendment is the one that protects all the other amendments. [00:36:32] The only reason why our leaders, or I don't even want to call them leaders, someone sent us an email. [00:36:38] The only reason why the people in charge is a correction there don't completely and forcibly go about their power grab like they did in Hong Kong is because we have armed citizenry. [00:36:51] If all the people in Hong Kong had AR-15s, it would be a negotiation, not a hostage situation. [00:36:58] Now, I'm not calling for anything ever of violence or armed rebellion. [00:37:03] That is not what I'm saying, to be very, very clear. [00:37:07] But the thought behind the Second Amendment and the truth behind the Second Amendment is that if a citizenry does not have their ability to protect themselves and the government has a monopoly on force, then they will get whatever they want. [00:37:22] Then the laws will not be written for the benefit of the people, but instead the laws will be written for the benefit of the rulers. [00:37:32] And so a very aggressive, unconstitutional, and immoral piece of gun control and gun confiscation legislation was passed through Congress for what they call gun background checks. [00:37:48] Now, mind you, there is already a background check bill that exists called the Brady Bill. [00:37:55] But this bill, H.R. 8, expanded background checks for individuals planning to purchase or transfer firearms. [00:38:03] Transfer. [00:38:04] Think about that. [00:38:05] Father wants to give a weapon to his child. [00:38:09] That would now require a federal background check, the transfer of weapons. [00:38:16] H.R. 8, also titled the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021, passed at a 227 to 203 vote. [00:38:26] And the most upsetting and frustrating part of all this is that seven, I'm sorry, eight Republicans alongside Adam Kinzinger supported this bill. [00:38:38] We should have a no-tolerance policy on gun confiscation. [00:38:44] Their playbook is very simple. [00:38:48] Limit the freedoms and liberties of Americans at every single possible corner and turn. [00:38:57] Fourth Amendment, get rid of that because the libertarians and the white supremacists are the ones that are hurting America. [00:39:04] The First Amendment, they're already trying to destroy that through H.R. 5, the Equality Act. [00:39:11] But now H.R. 8 goes after potential confiscation of weapons and more gun control measures. [00:39:23] This is more of the Overton window moving. [00:39:27] I talked at length about the Overton window in my speech that I gave in Cleveland, and we're going to post that on our podcast feed and our YouTube channel in the coming days. [00:39:36] I encourage you to check it out, which is everything that we're dealing with right now is a byproduct of the Overton window. [00:39:42] Now, what is the Overton window? [00:39:44] Well, Joseph Overton came up with a brilliant theory that everything moves on a spectrum of public approval from unthinkable to radical to debatable to acceptable to policy. [00:39:59] The point is that everything moves along that spectrum. [00:40:02] One of the biggest problems is Republicans who go to Washington, D.C. for the desire to be liked by the Washington Post and the New York Times. [00:40:12] I tell this to every single young member, including Madison Cawthorne, who deserves to be thanked and applauded, and we will play his tape in the next segment of him courageously pushing back against this gun control piece of legislation. [00:40:25] As soon as you release yourself from the urge, from the temptation, from the desire to be liked by the Washington Post and MSNBC, you will think clearly. [00:40:38] They will never like you unless you pander to them. [00:40:41] Like Adam Kinzinger, who, by the way, I will be personally involved in whomever ends up going up against Adam Kinzinger. [00:40:49] They're redrawing the maps in Illinois. [00:40:51] I'm from Illinois. [00:40:52] Adam, I'm coming back to make sure that you are no longer a member of Congress. [00:40:56] And I hope thousands of other people join me in that. [00:40:59] Adam Kinzinger has never found a war that he does not want to deploy American troops for. [00:41:06] He has never found a Democrat policy he does not want to pander for. [00:41:09] Adam Kinzinger has got to go. [00:41:11] Now, Catalina has announced against him. [00:41:13] There might be some other people. [00:41:15] Whomever it is, we're going to make sure that Adam Kinzinger has to go become a lobbyist for Raytheon or Northrop Grumman or Lockheed Martin after this, alongside Liz Cheney. [00:41:25] Now, I'm not saying every single Republican that I'm going to mention here is worthy of a primary, but I am going to mention their names. [00:41:31] And one of these names is a friend of mine. [00:41:33] And I've already privately messaged her, and I hope that she's going to reconsider in future votes because at Turning Point Action, we helped her, and she won convincingly. [00:41:44] The eight Republicans who voted to take away your guns are Adam Kinzinger, Vern Buchanan of Florida, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Maria Salazar of Florida, which is a big disappointment for me. [00:41:58] I've already privately messaged her. [00:41:59] She's generally very, very good, but I'm saddened by this and I'm frustrated. [00:42:04] Andrew Garberino of New York, Chris Smith of New Jersey, Fred Upton of Michigan, and Carlos Jimenez of Florida. [00:42:14] Now, their defense, at least Carlos Jimenez or Maria Salazar privately might be, look, this was going to pass anyway. [00:42:21] I voted for it so that I can go to my constituents and say that I support something that they support. [00:42:28] It's a very bad reason to publicly endorse the infringement of our precious liberties and freedoms. [00:42:36] Now, I know a lot of people out there are saying, Charlie, I'm not that big into guns. [00:42:40] It's not about the guns. [00:42:43] It's about who gives you rights and where do rights come from. [00:42:49] Rights come from your creator, not from government. [00:42:53] And with the massive amount of gun control that already exists, any further gun control will only strengthen the federal bureaucracy to come knocking on your door to come take away your weapons, which will inherently, but will automatically, I should say, make us a less free country and give the power over to the woke industrial complex and the social justice warrior ruling class. [00:43:20] So are you making full use of your savings? [00:43:22] Think of the times that you've yearned for better returns. [00:43:25] After real inflation, charges, and taxes, are you even making a profit? [00:43:30] With food, clothing, and rent all more doubling over the last 10 years, you need to do something different. [00:43:36] Gambling on Robin Hood or stocks might lose you everything you have. [00:43:40] And like thousands of others, you want to retire stress-free. [00:43:44] A precious metals IRA with Noble Gold could be the answer you've been looking for. [00:43:48] And this month, Noble Gold is gifting a genuine, rare Carson City minted Morgan silver dollar with every qualifying IRA or 401k. [00:43:56] These coins were around in a time when an ounce of silver was worth a dollar. [00:44:01] For example, in 1893, a mint condition coin is now worth more than $3,250, a staggering 32,500% increase. [00:44:12] That's a return of 2,500% a year. [00:44:15] It is a hedge against inflation. [00:44:17] We know inflation is coming. [00:44:18] So if you want something you can touch, and something you can feel, and something you can trade, and something that is real, go to noblegoldinvestments.com and tell them the Charlie Kirk show sent you. [00:44:28] NobleGoldInvestments.com or call 877-646-5347. [00:44:34] That's noblegoldinvestments.com. [00:44:40] Adam Kinzinger and seven other Republicans vote for the gun background check bill. [00:44:46] Vern Buchanan, Brian Fitzpatrick, Maria Salazar, Andrew Garberino, Chris Smith, Fred Upton, and Carlos Jimenez to take your weapons away. [00:44:56] Kinzinger, who, by the way, I believe represents Illinois' 16th congressional district, is probably one of the highest gun-owning per capita congressional districts in the entire country. [00:45:08] I know that area very well. [00:45:10] Rockford, it's a very nice part of the world. [00:45:15] And yes, I did say Rockford, Illinois is nice, which was rated the most miserable city in America at one time. [00:45:20] But I always liked Rockford. [00:45:22] I thought the people are wonderful there. [00:45:23] And I don't think it gets the credit it deserves. [00:45:26] So Adam Kinzinger releases this on gun reform responsibility. [00:45:31] Whenever there is a consequential moment where we need conservatives to step up, you can rest assured that Adam Kinzinger will let you down. [00:45:42] And so one of my friends that's listening and emailed us freedom at charliekirk.com. [00:45:47] They say, Charlie, what is that Overton window? [00:45:48] You went over that rather quickly. [00:45:51] Well, the Overton window is a spectrum of which all political conversation flows on or operates on. [00:45:59] It's a system to organize political conversation. [00:46:03] So basically, Joseph Overton, who's now passed away, worked for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, which is a Michigan think tank, argued that all political ideas are on a spectrum from unthinkable to policy. [00:46:17] So it goes from unthinkable to radical to acceptable to sensible to popular to policy. [00:46:22] So I did it from memory. [00:46:23] I did it pretty well. [00:46:24] So basically, let's take the example of defund the police. [00:46:28] Defund the police went from unthinkable three years ago to now policy in Minneapolis, which hilariously, Minneapolis is now asking for more money to fund their police. [00:46:39] Let's think of the Green New Deal, where spending $127 trillion on environmental justice, whatever that is, was unthinkable, but now it's somewhat sensible or popular in certain circles and almost policy. [00:46:52] So how does one move the Overton window? [00:46:56] By big, bold statements and putting the other team on defense. [00:47:01] Noam Chomsky, who's a communist, also a professor at the University of Arizona, says, quote, the smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but also, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. [00:47:18] Even encourage the more critical and dissident views. [00:47:21] That gives more people the sense that there's free thinking going on when all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits being put on the range of the debate. [00:47:32] And Noam Chomsky is right. [00:47:33] We are always operating in that Overton window. [00:47:38] And so what Nancy Pelosi is doing, what Adam Kinzinger and these other seven Republicans are doing, is they're playing into a moving of the Overton window. [00:47:47] So their goal is policy of the confiscation of all weapons like they have in Great Britain. [00:47:53] And so they want to move something that is unthinkable or radical to acceptable, sensible, popular, and policy. [00:47:58] Now, things can also go from policy to unthinkable. [00:48:01] And sometimes the Overton window can benefit humanity. [00:48:04] For example, slavery used to be policy, and now it's unthinkable. [00:48:10] So it went from policy to unthinkable. [00:48:12] That's a good move backwards in the Overton window. [00:48:15] But do you want to see a bad move on the Overton window? [00:48:18] When something that went from policy segregation to unthinkable segregation to now it's policy again, where Columbia University has black-only and Latino-only graduation ceremonies. [00:48:34] So everything, whether you realize it or not, operates on this Overton window, which is precisely why when Republicans go out of their way to pander to the moving of the Overton window, to pander to the narrative, and this is this, the whole theory behind the Overton window, I think, is so important and it resonates with me because it has to do with communication, has to do with the spread of ideas that actually ends up implementing, impacting public policy and the implementation of public policy. [00:49:04] Remember, Trump moved the Overton window on immigration and trade positively. [00:49:09] And in the next segment, I'm going to tell you one Republican that deserves to be applauded for stopping the move of the Overton window when it comes to weapons and how it impacts our other freedoms and liberties. [00:49:20] As eight Republicans decide to take your weapons away, one courageous Republican, not just the only one, but a friend of mine who deserves to be complimented for a phenomenal speech he gave on the House floor, the youngest ever member of the House of Representatives to be elected, Madison Cawthorne, listen to his remarks, play tape. [00:49:39] I specifically speak for 700,000 plus Americans in my district. [00:49:43] When I say that if you think this bastardization of the Constitution will be met with silence, then you know nothing of the America I know. [00:49:51] You want my guns. [00:49:53] I know it. [00:49:54] We all know it. [00:49:55] Well, Mr. Speaker, you can come and take them. [00:49:58] With that, I yield back. [00:49:59] And good for him. [00:50:00] Calling out the other Republicans as well that decided to try and win favor with the Washington Post, New York Times crowd. [00:50:07] The Second Amendment is the amendment that protects all the other amendments. [00:50:12] And we have a robust First Amendment in our country. [00:50:15] So last week, and all this ties together, I'm going to tie it all together. [00:50:18] Don't worry. [00:50:19] So last week, I went after Megan Markle and Prince Harry. [00:50:25] Apparently struck a nerve because I said, I don't believe Megan Markle and I think she's a liar. [00:50:30] And I stand by that. [00:50:31] And I could tell by all the fallout in the last week, do you notice how there's been no details yet from Megan Markle? [00:50:37] I said, I think she was being Jussie Smollett, Justice Smollett. [00:50:41] And the whole world lost their mind. [00:50:43] It's as if you're not allowed to say anything about a self-indulgent, narcissistic, wannabe Hollywood celebrity pseudo-politician sitting down with a billionaire complaining about how awful life is. [00:50:56] It's as if that's the third rail of American politics. [00:50:58] Cardi B doing strip dancing or whatever she did at the Grammys, perfectly cool. [00:51:03] Asking a question or calling Meghan Markle a liar, you can't do that. [00:51:07] However, there is lots of backlash and all that. [00:51:10] Thankfully, I've said more controversial things, so it's not exactly as if I'm prone to potential cancellation for those remarks because I said nothing wrong. [00:51:19] However, I read this story this weekend. [00:51:23] In fact, Jake, one of our team members, brought this to my attention. [00:51:26] I couldn't believe it. [00:51:28] And it really set in something that is a very important point. [00:51:32] And here's the article from The Blaze. [00:51:33] Piers Morgan refuses to back down after Megan Markle criticisms, despite UK agency launching investigation. [00:51:42] I thought to myself, what are you talking about? [00:51:44] Launching an investigation. [00:51:46] It says, offcome, the United Kingdom media regulator revealed Tuesday that it had opened an investigation into Morgan's comments after fielding more than 40,000 complaints. [00:52:00] So Piers Morgan and I agreed on something for a change. [00:52:03] Again, he's not wrong about everything. [00:52:05] I think he's actually very fun to listen to. [00:52:08] And so Piers Morgan, he stormed off the stage of Good Morning Britain. [00:52:11] I'm reading from The Blaze. [00:52:14] And he says that he does not believe Markle generally, that she was attacking the royal family and she was attacking the crown and the British monarchy that has wonderful and beautiful history. [00:52:25] And anyone that just wants to throw it away is an arrogant, ungrateful, probably college-educated activist. [00:52:33] Megan Markle represents a destruction of that. [00:52:38] And so we have cut 11 here of Piers Morgan responding to this. [00:52:43] But I want to reinforce this before we get to this tape. [00:52:46] He goes after Megan Markle, and now he is under a government investigation for this. [00:52:55] A government investigation. [00:52:58] Play tape. [00:52:59] I believe in freedom of speech. [00:53:01] I believe in the right to be allowed to have an opinion. [00:53:05] If people want to believe Megan Markle, that's entirely their right. [00:53:09] I don't believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth. [00:53:12] And I think the damage she's done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible. [00:53:24] So if I have to fall on my sword for expressing an honestly held opinion about Meghan Markle and that diatribe of bilge that she came out with in that interview, so be it. [00:53:36] That's phenomenal. [00:53:38] What wonderful courage and clarity. [00:53:40] Now, that's a very big statement. [00:53:42] Apparently in Great Britain, that's not very, that's not a publicly held belief. [00:53:50] A lot of people are quietly saying it. [00:53:51] I got thousands of emails of people saying, Charlie, thank you for calling Megan Markle a liar. [00:53:56] I said, of course she's a liar. [00:53:58] Totally tell. [00:53:58] No details, meandering narrative, victimization, oppression Olympics, feel sorry for me because I married into the royal family, all of it. [00:54:07] And however, for me, I never thought that I would ever come under a government agency response. [00:54:14] I guess that the United Kingdom could come after me. [00:54:16] I don't really know how that could work. [00:54:18] But the point is this, and here's how it all ties together, is that Piers Morgan now has the government, the sovereign government, coming after him for something he said that was an opinion. [00:54:31] Now, he opened up his remarks with something that is not a belief in the United Kingdom. [00:54:37] He says, I believe in freedom of speech. [00:54:40] Pierce, you should get out of that country quickly just because I don't think your fellow citizens do. [00:54:47] Libel laws and defamation laws in the United Kingdom are much stricter, much stricter. [00:54:54] Now, he said he had an opinion. [00:54:55] He did not report on something that was factually false with the intent of being false. [00:55:01] And of course, now Megan Markle is saying that she wants to possibly run for office in the United States. [00:55:07] No one saw that one coming. [00:55:10] No talent, full of deceit, arrogance, and resentment. [00:55:14] And so We take for granted here in this country our First Amendment freedoms. [00:55:22] Now, before I take a victory lap for our country, let me tell you how what Piers Morgan is facing from Ofcom is already here. [00:55:34] So, Piers Morgan has to worry about a government investigation. [00:55:37] This government agency, Ofcom, received 40,000 complaints. [00:55:42] Therefore, their full-time federal agents are now investigating Piers Morgan. [00:55:46] Investigating him for what? [00:55:47] I don't know. [00:55:49] But this is already here. [00:55:53] Because if Piers Morgan was in the States and he said that, and he worked for CNN or NBC, they would just be calling for boycotts of his advertisers, a cancellation of his book deal, and trying to ruin his life that way. [00:56:09] The only difference is that what we call cancel culture is in the rule of law in Britain, and that's what they want to bring here. [00:56:18] They want to bring the very same heavy hand of government that Piers Morgan now has to face for saying something about Megan Markle that she's a pathological liar, which very well might be true. [00:56:31] I believe it's totally true, and we'll see. [00:56:33] Because Pierce is a wise guy, and he could see it for what it is. [00:56:38] No details and all this. [00:56:39] And the Queen's remark was perfect, by the way. [00:56:42] She says, we all have a different recollection of certain events. [00:56:46] Perfect. [00:56:47] Perfectly said. [00:56:48] And he's exactly right. [00:56:48] Prince Philip, I think, is 99 years old in the hospital. [00:56:52] Now, some of you might be emailing us, and I can see your emails. [00:56:55] Charlie, enough of the monarchy. [00:56:56] It's not about the monarchy. [00:56:58] It's about a system of laws that they are now trying to implement domestically here in the United States. [00:57:04] And it's directly connected with the gun control fight happening right now in the U.S. House of Representatives. [00:57:11] In the United Kingdom, they do not have a Second Amendment. [00:57:15] In the United Kingdom, they don't have a First Amendment, and they don't have a Fourth Amendment. [00:57:19] We should be abundantly and eternally thankful for our founding fathers to have the clairvoyance, to have the foresight, hundreds of years ago, to know that there would be power-hungry dictators and tyrants that want to shut you up, take your ability to defend yourself away, and spy on you and walk directly into your private property. [00:57:42] And so all of this, in some sense, at least Megan Markle's response to this, is about her trying to run for president of the United States. [00:57:52] I read the other day that Michelle Obama is going to retire. [00:57:55] She's thinking of her. [00:57:55] What are you retiring from? [00:57:58] You don't do anything. [00:57:59] You do like a Netflix special once a quarter and sit at your mansion in Martha's Vineyard and call everyone a racist. [00:58:05] Say, well, now we could take a mental break now that Joe Biden is president. [00:58:10] Donald Trump was living rent-free in your head. [00:58:13] What are you retiring from? [00:58:15] Have you worked in the last decade, Michelle Obama? [00:58:17] I don't understand what you're retiring from. [00:58:19] Tough life it must be to fly around on private jets, sign book deals. [00:58:25] This idea that it's so difficult to be very wealthy as a minority in America is quite honestly a reprehensible disgrace. [00:58:37] It is. [00:58:38] Megan Markle complaining to billionaire Oprah Winfrey about how terrible everything is. [00:58:43] And Michelle Obama unrelated to this, that she's going to retire. [00:58:45] Okay, go ahead. [00:58:50] And so how is Piers Morgan responding to this? [00:58:52] Courageously. [00:58:56] Thanks for all the love and hate. [00:58:57] I'm off to spend more time with my opinions. [00:59:01] He said, quote, on Monday, I said I didn't believe Megan Markle in her Oprah Winfrey interview. [00:59:06] I've had the time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don't. [00:59:08] If you did, okay, freedom of speech is a hill. [00:59:10] I'm happy to die. [00:59:10] And good for you, Piers Morgan. [00:59:12] You are fighting for the right thing. [00:59:14] While I disagree with you a lot on politics, and I think he was very unfair towards Donald Trump in the election, the liberation of speech is a moral crusade for anyone to be on. [00:59:24] And that is really a point of continuity. [00:59:31] That's not the right word, but it's something that we have in common. [00:59:33] Point of commonality. [00:59:34] That's the one I'm looking for. [00:59:35] Between the United Kingdom and America right now, it's a similar culture war. [00:59:40] And so while I go after Megan Markle and Piers Morgan goes after Megan Markle, and we have different threats, you see, Piers Morgan now, I guess he could go to jail. [00:59:49] Is that what Ofcom potentially has is criminal penalties? [00:59:52] That's probably unrealistic, but I'm guessing he could be fined. [00:59:57] Yeah, fines. [00:59:58] Civil or criminal fines. [01:00:00] More fines is what I'm being told. [01:00:03] Is that that's what he has to worry about. [01:00:05] But understand that the new ruling class that wants to govern our planet, and most specifically the Western world, and even more specifically than that in America, what's the one thing that they can't handle? [01:00:22] Mockery, accusation, and honesty. [01:00:26] You see, it's very interesting. [01:00:28] If you study dictators and tyrants, they always shut up the comedians and the truth tellers. [01:00:36] Always. [01:00:36] It's a reason why they had Socrates killed, and there's a reason why they had Cicero killed. [01:00:41] Of course, there's a reason why they had Jesus killed. [01:00:44] Truth tellers throughout time, Galileo is another example. [01:00:49] They had him in prison, not killed. [01:00:53] They are a bother. [01:00:55] They're a threat to tyrants that have, possess, and display unwarranted power over the citizenry. [01:01:05] So Megan Markle says, how dare you accuse me? [01:01:07] What have you ever done in your life, Megan Markle? [01:01:10] You were on suits? [01:01:10] I don't even heard of this show before. [01:01:12] Suits. [01:01:13] The heck is that? [01:01:16] You married Prince Harry. [01:01:17] Congratulations. [01:01:19] You want the whole world to pander and cater to you because you signed a Netflix deal. [01:01:22] It's not how it works in this country. [01:01:28] And the inability to even ask questions is under attack from every power center in the Western world. [01:01:36] And God bless Piers Morgan for standing against it. [01:01:39] And God bless Madison Cawthorne for standing against the other infringement on our liberties and our freedoms. [01:01:44] There's two stories I want to get to here. [01:01:47] This one in particular. [01:01:49] Washington Post, Amazon, Washington Post. [01:01:51] Remember the whole saga around Donald Trump pressuring a Georgia election investigator in a call legal experts could call could amount to obstruction. [01:02:05] You remember this whole thing? [01:02:06] Where Donald Trump called Georgia and everyone condemned it? [01:02:10] Now, this is January 9th, January 9th, 2021. [01:02:15] And without issuing a new story, you have to go back to the original story. [01:02:21] Is that right, Connor? [01:02:22] Go back to the original story. [01:02:25] And it says, two months after, correction, two months after publication of the story, the Georgia Secretary of State released an audio recording of President Donald Trump's December phone call with the state top election investigator. [01:02:38] The recording revealed that the Post misquoted Trump's comments on the call based on information provided by a source. [01:02:44] Trump did not tell the investigator to, quote, find the fraud or say she would be a national hero if she did so. [01:02:49] Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize the ballots in Fulton County, Georgia, asserting she would find dishonesty there. [01:02:56] He also told her that she had the most important job in the country right now. [01:02:59] A story about the recording can be found here. [01:03:01] The headline and the text of the story have been corrected and removed quotes misattributed to Trump. [01:03:05] Two months later, no one will be held accountable for this. [01:03:09] No one will be fired. [01:03:12] And they slandered Donald Trump. [01:03:15] He should sue. [01:03:16] And I think he would win on this, actually. [01:03:19] In other news, the Vatican got something right. [01:03:23] The Vatican came out and said that priests can't bless gay unions because God cannot bless sin. [01:03:30] It's well-accepted Catholic teaching. [01:03:32] And then Don Laman came out and he said that the Vatican declaring God cannot bless same-sex unions is: quote, God is not about hindering people or even judging people. [01:03:45] Interesting. [01:03:46] Hindering people. [01:03:48] Well, maybe Don believes in an Eastern religious God, but the God of the Bible says very clearly that there are laws, and if you follow them, those laws will set you free. [01:03:59] Watch Don Laman with Megan McCain. [01:04:01] Well, I think there are, listen, I respect people's right to believe in whatever they want to believe in, their God. [01:04:07] But if you believe in something that hurts another person or that does not give someone the same rights or freedoms, not necessarily under the Constitution, because this is under God, I think that that's wrong. [01:04:19] And I think that the Catholic Church and many other churches really need to re-examine themselves and their teachings because that is not what God is about. [01:04:28] God is not about hindering people or even judging people. [01:04:32] Go out and meet people and try to understand people and do what the Bible and what Jesus actually said if you believe in Jesus, and that is to love your fellow man and judge not lest ye be not judged. [01:04:45] So he is talking about the God of the Bible. [01:04:47] He's not talking about some Zorastrianism Middle Eastern sun worshiping God or some Eastern meditative God. [01:04:55] Now, Don Laman probably is reading a different book. [01:04:58] I would encourage Don Laman to read the book of Leviticus. [01:05:01] There's a couple rules there. [01:05:03] This idea that God is a God that wants you to be self-indulgent limitlessly and endlessly is not even close to being true. [01:05:12] You see, God gave a moral framework for all people to live by. [01:05:17] Include not just the Ten Commandments, but all the laws throughout the Bible. [01:05:24] So according to Don Lemon or Don Laman, God is not about hindering people or even judging people. [01:05:30] So according to Don Lemon, God does not speak clearly about child pedophilia or about murder, about genocide or rape, because God's not a judging God. [01:05:41] And according to Don Lemon, God is not about hindering people. [01:05:44] Why would we prevent Stalin from killing 50 million people? [01:05:48] What Don Lemon is really talking about is a moral relativist God. [01:05:53] It sounds good in New York City social circles. [01:05:56] You see, love is not the acceptance of all things. [01:06:00] Love is truth and the clear, transparent guidelines of how human beings are supposed to live on this earth. [01:06:11] And Don Lemon introducing, not just introducing, but this is a growing trend in American Christianity, is why we have so much moral confusion in our country. [01:06:21] What is the truth of the George Floyd controversy? [01:06:25] Well, a phenomenal article was written by Unwoke Narrative, and we are going to do an entire video from unwokenarrative.com of the truth of the George Floyd death, and it will stun you. [01:06:40] I learned a lot in this article, and it's different than what the media is telling you. [01:06:46] And it's going to be exclusively on our YouTube channel and also on our podcast feed. [01:06:51] And especially subscribe to our podcast feed because just looking at the fact hurricane that is in this piece of document from Unwoke Narrative, we might lose our YouTube channel. [01:07:03] I hope I don't. [01:07:03] But it's just so much facts, they won't be able to handle it because it goes right up against the narrative. [01:07:13] Let's take a couple questions here. [01:07:17] Let's say here, hi, Charlie. [01:07:18] The spread of critical race theory and anti-American sentiment has taken over most churches in my area. [01:07:23] How do I find Christ in a Bible-centered and pro-Western civilization church? [01:07:27] I don't know what church, what area you're in, but look, please email us if this is something you're dealing with. [01:07:33] We are building a network of churches that are non-woke, that are biblical-based. [01:07:37] Please email us where you are and basically the troubles and the difficulties as you have in your local area. [01:07:45] Here's one. [01:07:46] Noah says, hey, Charlie, absolutely love your show. [01:07:49] Thank you for always speaking facts and biblical truth. [01:07:52] I'm possibly going to be moving to New York, and I need a church to attend you while you're there. [01:07:56] I have a very good one for you. [01:07:57] I currently attend Pastor Jack's Calvary Church, Geno Hills. [01:08:01] I'd love to find a church in New York City that is also fully open. [01:08:04] Do you have any recommendations? [01:08:05] Noah from University of San Diego. [01:08:07] First of all, thank you, Noah. [01:08:08] Yes, Pastor David Engelhart's King's Church is phenomenal. [01:08:13] Check it out. [01:08:14] Pastor David Engelhart's church is terrific. [01:08:18] So thank you, Noah, for that in the New York area. [01:08:21] How about this? [01:08:22] Let's go to another question here. [01:08:27] This is one about Mayo Clinic, actually. [01:08:30] I'm going to try to find this one out. [01:08:31] Where's this Mayo Clinic one? [01:08:32] This is an unbelievable email that we got. [01:08:36] Okay. [01:08:36] I'm not going to share this person's name because they asked us not to, which is that Mayo Clinic, which is supposed to be a place about healing and finding scientific breakthroughs. [01:08:47] Mayo Clinic approves use of personal pronouns in email signatures and on buttons, basically endorsing this idea that your gender is merely an opinion, which is anti-science. [01:09:01] Mayo Clinic now says personal pronouns can be used in email signatures, in keeping with the email signature policy and on buttons in compliance with address and decorum policy. [01:09:11] The left will destroy everything they touch. [01:09:14] So here's the real question. [01:09:16] Will Mayo Clinic now allow children to declare as non-binary when they come out of their mother's womb? [01:09:23] Will they declare a male or female on a birth certificate? [01:09:28] Man and woman. [01:09:30] There are only two genders. [01:09:32] It's that simple. [01:09:34] People might suffer from gender dysphoria. [01:09:36] I hope they find healing, counseling, and compassion to help them with that tragic condition if they think they are something other than they are not. [01:09:45] And Mayo Clinic is playing right into it. [01:09:48] Next question here. [01:09:49] Hey, Charlie, my name is Chase. [01:09:51] I'm not going to say the last name. [01:09:52] I almost did. [01:09:53] I shouldn't do that just because I don't want people to lose their livelihood. [01:09:56] I'm a proud patriot and conservative. [01:09:58] Love your show and love your insight on a question that came up over the weekend. [01:10:01] Coming up in late June of last year, I'll be traveling with my fiancé and her family to Disney World. [01:10:06] I then brought up to my fiancé, her family, who is left-leaning, that I'd be even more excited because the free state, you don't have to wear masks there. [01:10:14] My fiancé's mom said that's not true and that Texas was the only state that has gone fully open, though masks. [01:10:18] She then decided to throw in that they were idiots for doing so, so I had to hold my tongue. [01:10:22] Anyways, I've been listening for about a year and I got the impression that Ron DeSantis was the people's governor and that Florida was the best state to be in at that moment. [01:10:28] Could you clear that up for me, please? [01:10:29] Florida is a fully open state. [01:10:31] Masks are optional in most business establishments. [01:10:34] I don't think, I don't know what Disney World and what their guidelines are. [01:10:37] I was just in Florida for the last two weeks. [01:10:39] There is no mask Stasi in Florida. [01:10:41] But you should ask your fiancé's family, why is it that Florida, with the second elderliest population, has a better virus death rate and hospitalization rate than almost any of these other states? [01:10:52] And why is it that California with mask mandates and lockdowns has a higher death rate and higher hospitalization rate? [01:10:59] And why is it that you need a mask mandate? [01:11:01] If you think masks work, why don't you still wear a mask? [01:11:04] Why do you need to use the full force of the government to impose what you think is right, even though there is no scientific data to show that masks have any sort of impact of the spread of the Chinese coronavirus? [01:11:18] And if you think they work, so be it. [01:11:19] I am mask agnostic. [01:11:21] Agnostic comes back from the Greek word, agnosis, without knowledge. [01:11:28] I want to thank some of our supporters at charliekirk.com slash support. [01:11:32] Wow. [01:11:33] I want to thank Francis from Scottsdale for just giving us $250 at charliekirk.com slash support. [01:11:40] Thank you so much. [01:11:41] That is so awesome. [01:11:42] Jesse says she is in the western Twin City, Minnesota suburbs. [01:11:46] Jesse, I do have a church for you. [01:11:47] I will respond to you after the show. [01:11:49] Thank you. [01:11:50] Let's see here. [01:11:51] Another question around churches. [01:11:53] It seems as if this is a big issue. [01:11:55] Hey, Charlie, we are searching for a church home exactly as you described. [01:11:58] We're located in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge area. [01:12:01] Any hope you could give us in locating an Ecclesia network would be greatly appreciated. [01:12:04] We'd love what you're doing at Turning Point USA. [01:12:06] And they continue by saying, perhaps you could share with your listeners and their resources how to be better Christians. [01:12:12] We absolutely will. [01:12:14] And I love Wall Builders and Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps. [01:12:17] So Ben and Tiffany, thank you for watching. [01:12:19] I will send you a church recommendation. [01:12:21] And I'm going to send this to myself just as a reminder. [01:12:24] Email us your questions, freedom at charliekirk.com right here. [01:12:32] Thanks so much for listening, everybody. [01:12:33] Email us your questions, freedom at charliekirk.com.
