[00:00:42]  So, what is freedom?
[00:00:46]  It's a complicated question, but I think you can boil it down to this.
[00:00:49]  Freedom means nothing if it does not include the freedom to be left alone.
[00:00:55]  To be left alone to one's own devices so long as they don't interfere with others.
[00:01:01]  But each of the groups that are opposing us here, they're not going to leave you alone.
[00:01:06]  You've got the far left, who are basically economic totalitarians.
[00:01:10]  You've got the Islamists, who are the religious totalitarians.
[00:01:16]  And they're the ones who want us to shut up.
[00:01:20]  Each of these groups hates British liberalism because they're totalitarian.
[00:01:28]  They're totalitarian because they want to erase the distinction between the public and the private.
[00:01:37]  You will not be able to get away from them because they want to make your personal life their political project.
[00:01:49]  They will never leave you alone.
[00:01:53]  They want your property.
[00:01:54]  They want your identity.
[00:01:56]  They want your immortal soul and they have a moral compulsion pushing them on.
[00:02:04]  Their consciences won't let them rest because their belief systems will not permit tolerance of the different.
[00:02:14]  How much will you concede to these tyrants?
[00:02:23]  Good.
[00:02:26]  Every statement they make is in opposition to your natural rights.
[00:02:32]  You must believe what they believe.
[00:02:35]  You must act as they act and you must say what they say and don't you forget it.
[00:02:45]  They do not come offering freedom because none of them are themselves free.
[00:02:52]  All they can offer you is a share in their servitude.
[00:03:00]  Misery loves company.
[00:03:03]  If people shackled by mental chains see those who aren't, their first compulsion is to try and impose their needs and values on you.
[00:03:15]  Because, as Kanye West recently pointed out, they choose their chains.
[00:03:26]  They need the safety of oppression, the abdication of moral choice and the consequences thereof.
[00:03:35]  If something terrible happens, what do they say?
[00:03:40]  That wasn't real Islam.
[00:03:43]  That wasn't real communism.
[00:03:48]  They choose their chains because they are weak.
[00:03:52]  They are afraid of differences and their own ability to handle things that are different.
[00:03:59]  They do not trust in their own moral character.
[00:04:04]  They are afraid of what comes next.
[00:04:09]  But I can say something they can't say.
[00:04:12]  I am not afraid, actually given the size of this crowd I'm fucking terrified.
