On the 7th of January 2018, Stephanie Yaboa, an award-nominated plus-size blogger and writer for a bunch of vacuous publications, discovered that H ⁇ M had used a black child called Liam Mango in one of their adverts, and this black child was wearing a shirt with the word monkey on it.
Stephanie did the only moral and upright thing to do in such a situation, which was to take to Twitter, because I mean what?
21,000 retweets later, Stephanie had created an internet shitstorm for H ⁇ M, a Swedish high street retail chain that sells normie clothes to normies.
H ⁇ M were in for a hell of a ride.
Black activist websites like Blavity went full bore at H ⁇ M with both barrels.
This was unacceptable.
This was racist messaging.
The listing was featured alongside two other separate hoodies, both of which were worn by young white boys that came with similar jungle themes, yet no such harmful racial connotations.
This sentence alone should be enough to make this an open and shut case.
The offending hoodie came from a collection of jungle themed clothes, and H ⁇ M had a diverse group of models wearing the clothes for a photo shoot.
This black boy wearing a jungle-themed hoodie was a consequence of what would usually be considered a diverse hiring policy combined with an international Africa-themed clothing line.
A normal person might consider this to be the consequence of a progressive company following progressive principles to promote a progressive worldview while selling their products.
But that's what a normal person would think.
A truly woke person would realize that H ⁇ M is actually being run by the Klan, and this picture was actually a carefully staged attack on black people.
If we put on our magical sunglasses of wokeness, we can immediately see the problem.
And despite clearly being run by white supremacists, H&M apologized on the same day and removed the offending article from shelves, but the damage was already done.
Didn't they pay attention to what happened to Dove after they revealed themselves to be run by white supremacists too?
But some people were prepared to give H ⁇ M the benefit of the doubt.
Perhaps the company wasn't declaring themselves as the commercial arm of the Daily Stormer and were in fact just not thinking about race as much as professional racial activists.
I mean, many parents describe their kids as little monkeys, right?
Wrong.
People are fucking outraged.
Outraged that a black child was allowed to model a coolest monkey in the jungle hoodie because the hoodie had no coloureds written in the tag.
As far as Teen Vogue are concerned, the people have spoken and they've thrown their full support behind this new progressive clothing apartheid.
Anything less than apoplectic rage is simply not enough.
Here we are, almost two full decades into the 21st century, and we are still seeing images that equate black people with monkeys.
Fucking H ⁇ M. When will they learn that black people are human beings?
Is everyone at H ⁇ M a racist?
Well, it's hard to say, but let me dance around the fact that yes, everyone at H ⁇ M is a racist, which is presumably what the singer called The Weekend thought when they decided to cancel their contract with the company.
The top brass at H ⁇ M did the only thing neo-Nazis know how to do in a crisis situation like this, which just happened to be the worst possible thing one could do in a crisis situation like this.
They apologised.
Again.
We will be doing everything we possibly can to prevent this from happening again in the future.
Racism and bias in any shape or form, conscious or unconscious, deliberate or accidental, are simply unacceptable and need to be eradicated from society.
In this instance, we have not been sensitive enough to this agenda.
Please accept our humble apologies.
Did it work?
No, not in the slightest.
Despite far-left publications like The Independent pointing out that this was probably the result of accidental racism.
The child pictured in the advert was simply told to put on a jumper and model it.
He was, most likely, unaware of the implications of that monkey reference and of the possible outrage the resulting image would cause.
His parents were probably chuffed that he was chosen out of thousands for the role, and no doubt they were happy to see him greatly remunerated for his time.
Well, that's not very woke at all.
And in the eyes of the Social Justice Inquisition, H ⁇ M turned out to be staffed from top to bottom with cross-burning slave owners.
Accidental racism?
Get out of here with that bullshit.
Nobody makes an honest mistake.
It's time to boycott.
Apology not accepted, you motherfucking crackers.
Because we know that this wasn't just some innocent mistake.
This was a carefully coordinated campaign to try and keep a brother down and the hip-hop community is woke to your games, Whitey.
Yeah, they just showed me the little ad, the little spread of whatever the H ⁇ M did with the, you know, the African-American boy with the green sweat on and crossed the chest and had coolest monkey in the jungle.
Okay, H&L, monkey, we got something for y'all, monkey ass, right, Nano?
All y'all got to do is call Papa John.
Call Papa John and he gonna tell you how all this finna play out.
This poor African-American boy from Sweden was being racially abused by the white man.
And this is clearly not racial activists projecting their own feelings and ideology onto the situation.
And now that the virtue signal is set up, the celebrities can come out in force.
We're against bad things.
We are for good things.
We aren't terribly sure what's going on, but everyone is talking about this, so we need to be heard.
Someone called P. Diddy decided that now was the time to take an unknown black boy from Sweden and give him a million dollar modeling contract because apparently this unknown black boy was, in fact, the coolest king in the world.
Didn't even know he was royalty.
Artists from around the world joined forces against H ⁇ M's attempt at black genocide to proclaim with their combined artistic talent, this boy is a Kang.
Of course, racists were also out in force on social media and so the Black People Protection Unit struck back with their most trusty weapon.
If you don't find this racist, you must be privileged.
Just like the Loose Women host and woman of colour Sahira Khan, who boldly declared herself to be the only neo-Nazi on the Loose Woman panel because she didn't actually find the hoodie to be a commentary on the genetic inferiority of black people.
Presumably because it didn't go far enough.
But the biggest white supremacist of them all was the boy's own mother, a black lady called Terry Mango, who claimed that the racist hoodie was just one of hundreds of outfits her son had modelled and that people should stop crying wolf on this unnecessary issue and to get over it.
What?
A fucking racist.
Almost as racist as Rachel Dolezal, the trans-black racial activist who was caught in the crossfire after trying to promote her own coolest prince in the hood shirt.
I'm not even kidding.
While Dolezal was struggling to understand her position on the Progressive Stack, Liam Mango was being deified across Africa, with his portrait appearing on a wall in Angola, complete with Halo, despite the fact the boy was still alive and well in Sweden.
The Huffington Post bravely asked the question on everyone's lips: did HM actually mean to be racist?
Yes, because despite the fact the author concurs that HM probably weren't looking at race when they conducted the photo shoot, being colourblind to race is in fact racist.
So check fucking mate Franz Kafka.
The Twitterati were incensed once more when HM decided to reveal their power level and declare their next line of clothing to be as equally racist as the coolest monkey hoodie before realizing that this, in fact, was a hoax.
But by then it was far too late for HM to apologise for not doing something that far left activists thought they'd done, and now was the time to be racist to white kids in revenge for this innocent misunderstanding.
Saltiest cracker in the box, ugliest honky in the jungle, future school shooter.
Wow, they really showed those kids who had nothing to do with any of this.
In fact, that's not good enough.
What far-left racial activists really need to do is go after Terry Mango herself and call her a monkey.
Because in the minds of these lunatics, answering one perceived wrong with a thousand more most definitely makes a right.
Which is precisely what they did.
How can you fight racism if you make racist remarks?
You cannot try to defend my son and use the same words to describe me.
Well, that's what a racist would say.
It's like she doesn't even realize how this is now a holy crusade to protect her son from racism or something.
But shut up, bitch, we haven't yet gone far enough.
when white people are accusing black people of acting like monkeys, which they aren't, we prove them wrong by pretending to be monkeys and trashing their stores.
However, this small-time chimpout in America was nothing like the chimpout that happened in South Africa, where gangs of radical activists descended on six H&M stores to smash them up like civilized people until the police arrived to disperse the troop with rubber bullets.
Apparently, these quote-unquote protesters were from a group called the Economic Freedom Fighters.
Who are the economic freedom fighters, you might ask?
Good question.
Let's have a look at their website to see how they describe themselves.
The Economic Freedom Fighters is a radical and militant economic emancipation movement that brings together revolutionary, fearless, radical, and militant activists, workers' movements, non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, and lobby groups under the umbrella of pursuing the struggle for economic emancipation.
Mm-hmm.
The EFF is a radical leftist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist movement with an internationalist outlook anchored by popular grassroots formations and struggles.
Mm-hmm.
The EFF draws inspiration from the broad Marxist-Leninist tradition and Phanonian schools of thought.
Of course they're fucking communists, but not just any kind of communist, pan-African racial communists.
Well at least we found the root of the problem.
HNM decided to temporarily close their South African stores because it didn't seem like they had any other choice, reopening the next day with heightened security of around 20 new security guards in a clothing store.
Because otherwise they'll be attacked by communists who see racism everywhere.
Welcome to 2018.
Members of the South African press and political opposition to the EFF demanded that the EFF's leader, Julius Malema, pay reparations to HNM for all the damage his activists had caused and the wages that they had robbed from the staff by forcing the stores to close, saying that they must be held accountable for undermining the rule of law.
Congratulations, you praise yourself.
Once again, anything a communist does just makes the working class poorer.
Had you been in eyesight, because you know how these photo sheets work, they change the top, take the shot, change it again, change it again, loads of different shots all in one day.
If you'd seen that hoodie with that slogan, would it have rung alarm bells?
Not for me.
I wouldn't see such a connection to anything other than my son modelling a shot.
And until the controversy now with the whole ferora that is going on, then you kind of look back and wonder if you had noticed it, what would be our initial or my initial response to it.
One might think that a woman of colours black son profiting handsomely at the expense of the white man for merely wearing some clothes is a good thing and a net benefit to the black race.
But no, the radical black Marxists decided that her lack of hatred for the white man wasn't good enough because she is in fact a disgusting sellout.
And in presumably unrelated news, the families had to move to a secret location because of quote security reasons.
This all happened in nine days.
By the tenth day, enterprising capitalists were selling coolest monkey hoodies on eBay for over a grand until eBay shut them down.
H ⁇ M had capitulated on day one, and then again on day three, and then again on day seven, but nothing they had said had been good enough.
By day 11, they had hired a new diversity leader to oversee their brand's racial awareness, saying their commitment to addressing diversity and inclusiveness was genuine.
Therefore, we have appointed a global leader in this area to drive our work forward.
And yet, this still wasn't good enough.
So HNM committed themselves to being part of an anti-racism workshop in order to develop a deeper understanding of what the fuck just happened.
After consultation with several NVOs, talking to our staff, listening to the people affected by the issue, we have decided to do more to focus our commitment to equality.
We want to make a positive contribution to eradicate racism, both in South Africa and around the world.
And so HNM are now not actually a store, but presumably a militant Marxist organization on a mission to eradicate racism wherever they find it.
But if you're shocked about these attacks on H ⁇ M, you need a history lesson.
I have been fascinated by how some sections of society have been shocked, if not outraged, by ordinary black South Africans' response to a fashion advert that ridicules black people.
All over the world, black people responded with anger at what has been correctly perceived as an attack on the black person, regardless of where they are.
Incendiary is the word that comes to mind when one looks at the ad.
I wasn't at all surprised when black people led by the EFF trashed HM outlets in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria.
It was a long time coming.
I just want to end this video on a serious note.
Nothing happened here.
Nothing at all happened.
There was no injury done.
There was no victim.
Nothing happened.
HM did not try to be racist.
This is the projection of the social justice warriors.
The boy himself was not under any threat of harm, at least not until the radical Marxists got involved.
The family were offered the job, they accepted the job, they wore a few clothes, they got paid, they went home, everyone walked away happy.
Absolutely fucking everyone.
No one was harmed in this interaction one bit.
No one was oppressed, no one was put out, the family are annoyed at the activists for what they're doing to them, and not to HM for employing them.
