Hello everyone, welcome to this week in Stupid for the 30th of April 2017.
I swear we are plumbing new depths of raw stupidity.
I just cannot believe how far they will go, and I don't think there's an end in sight.
I honestly don't think we are ever going to reach the bottom of regressive stupidity, and the fucking bubble these people live in protects them from any kinds of consequences other than rampant mockery all over the internet.
Take for example Exhibit A, Emma Roller, a stock Twitter-verified lefty journal with Fusion, where she is the senior reporter.
This is the quality of reporting you will find on Fusion.
Just two people doing a white power hand gesture in the White House.
Now I'm just going to be honest, I am no expert on white power hand gestures, so it's a good thing Emma provided us with a follow-up link.
See, the thumb and the forefinger make the loop of the P, and the three finger sticking up are a W.
And you can tell this is true because she's giving you a link for reference to the Anti-Defamation League.
However, if you click that link, you find that this picture is not present on that page.
This very blurry picture on that page requires two hands to do.
I don't know where she got her picture from, but I think the one thing we can all agree is that Emma Roller is fake news.
And it doesn't matter that the alt-right are vigorously denying it has anything to do with white power.
No, no, no, no.
That's just them trying to cover up their racism.
I mean, don't worry about the fact that this is a well-established emoji on, and I mean literally, every single social network on Earth.
That's just white supremacist infiltration.
And nobody knows just how far this conspiracy spreads, because there are white supremacists literally everywhere.
There are white supremacists in space, there are white supremacists at the bottom of the oceans.
But the worst part is just how many black people have internalized white supremacy, especially sports personalities.
And this conspiracy reaches to the very upper echelons of the government.
Even President Obama was a white supremacist, and his meme lord brother Malik.
Et to macron.
I can't believe it.
Le Pen is not the only white supremacist running for the presidency of France.
Can white supremacy not be stopped?
Remember folks, if you've ever made this symbol, you are basically Hitler.
In fact, no, I'll go one step further.
You are literally Hitler.
What's that Skippy?
This was a 4chan plot to make these people look fucking retarded?
Wow!
The internet wins again!
The world view of a verified lefty journo has become indistinguishable from a Dave Chappelle skit.
Sir, my message is simple.
Naggers, Jews, homosexuals, Mexicans, Arabs, and all kinds of different chanks stink, and I hate them.
And remember, alt-right infiltrators are everywhere.
They're even infiltrating the regressive left and making them look bad by producing totally incompetent, unfunny, and out-of-touch, quote-unquote, comedy.
But we'll get to Samantha Bee a little later.
In the meantime, we will be talking about BuzzFeed as if they are a reputable news outlet.
And that's because they are in fact far more internet savvy than most of the legacy media.
And they have fully bought into the Donald Trump is playing 4D chess narrative.
And to be honest with you, there's evidence to support it.
They say, Hope Hicks walked into the Oval Office last month with a message for the president.
Some staff members wanted to go to the White House correspondence dinner.
Trump molded over and polled the room.
The advice he received, it was probably a bad idea.
Attendance might suggest a disunited front from the administration, plus the comedian was going to be rude to him anyway.
I agree, Trump said.
Let's not have anybody go.
And if he just left it there, then there would be nothing further to talk about.
The White House correspondence dinner would go on and be as tone deaf as one might expect, but that would be the end of it.
However, what Trump instead decided to do was schedule an arena rally on the same day, so at the same time he could rail at the fake news media from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
Not really a black tie dinner event.
Trump will skip the dinner because the White House Correspondence Bash has become more of an elitist party to trash Republican presidents, said longtime confident Roger Stone.
Believe me, there will be nobody wearing a tuxedo or black tie at the Trump event.
Of course there won't, because this will be a definitive statement about class interests.
The left-wing coastal liberals will be insufferably pretentious and condescending to Donald Trump and his supporters, where Donald Trump will continue to build his ties with his base.
But it also gives him a propaganda coup against the media itself.
Publicly, the administration says the rally falls on the 100th day of his presidency, so I respectfully suggest that it's not just about the correspondence dinner, rather an opportunity for him to talk to voters that elected him and what he's been able to accomplish in the first hundred days, said Spicer from Air Force One.
And a White House official noted the optics and said that the American people prefer to see Trump out on the road in their cities.
They didn't vote for a president to go and sit at a dinner in a tux, the official said.
They voted for someone to go and work on their behalf, and that's what Trump is doing, or at least he makes a good show of it whether you want to argue the toss about that statement or not.
Either way, it just looks bad, and BuzzFeed can see it.
Trump's decision to skip the dinner and hold a rally poses a tricky situation with TV networks, which have taken to covering portions of the fate in recent years, typically the remarks from the president and the headlining comedian.
Network executives are aware of what could happen.
The president appearing as a man of the people, while journalists and celebrities and tuxedos roast him in absentia, self-righteously toasting to a free press and making very bad fake news jokes.
Covering the two events side by side could be a self-own of the highest order.
Not could be, will be.
And it will come as no surprise to you that that's precisely what they did.
Host blasts absent Trump at White House correspondence dinner.
Why do you think he would show up?
When he could instead upstage you?
Look at this pretentious motherfucker.
Look at the expression on his face.
I think he's in Pennsylvania because he can't take a joke.
No, he's in Pennsylvania because he has grassroots support there, and he can make a bigger impact by talking to them directly rather than letting you shit on him for two hours.
We've got to address the elephant that's not in the room.
The leader of our country is not here, and that's because he lives in Moscow.
It's a very long flight.
As for the other guy, I think he's in Pennsylvania because he can't take a joke.
Ha ha ha!
That's really hilarious.
To all of the voters who voted for Trump because he was promising them actual change that they could tangibly look at and say, right, this is a more positive future than if I vote for the globalist candidate who will not promise any of these things and doesn't want any of these things anyway.
Instead, you can just pander with unproven Russian conspiracy theories and act like this is all a big joke.
But to the people that Trump is representing, it's not.
It's really serious.
They aren't rich.
They don't get to go to tuxedo dinners.
They don't make six figures a year.
But you wouldn't know anything about that because you're not anywhere near these people.
And let's be honest, you think they're all racists.
Look what he gets to say about you.
A large group of Hollywood actors and Washington media are consoling each other in a hotel ballroom in our nation's capital right now.
And I could not possibly be more thrilled than to be more than 100 miles away from Washington Swamp, spending my evening with all of you and a much, much larger crowd.
A much better people, right?
He gets to sit there and bathe in their adulation.
They don't give a shit about your condescension.
It doesn't work.
It alienates you from literally anyone who might otherwise have been on your side.
And it just reinforces Trump's ability to pander to the people who like him.
But the worst of it was white supremacist Samantha B's not the White House correspondence dinner, which, according to Slate, was somehow worse than the real thing.
And I've watched it.
It's total cancer.
I don't have a better word for it.
I look at this.
Just look at the cringe.
What does she think she's fucking dressed like?
What do these people think they are saying to the outside world?
It is just so unself-aware.
Like I said in the previous video about social justice being uncool.
Do you think that in 20 years' time people are going to look back on this and go, God, they were so hip?
Do you think the kids are getting behind this?
Oh god, it's so cringe.
It's just...
I mean, why would you even dress like that?
In 10 years' time, people are going to look back and go, wow, did you do that sort of thing?
Were you a feminist?
I'm like, no.
So do you want to know what the real world is concerned about?
The people outside of the coastal liberal bubbles who actually have real problems to deal with?
Well, this statement following counter-terrorism operations in London from the Met should probably give you an indication of what real people worry about.
So this statement was given by the Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, Senior National Coordinator for Counterterrorism Policing outside Scotland Yard on Friday.
Concerning counter-terrorism operations.
In Whitehall, a 27-year-old man was arrested by armed officers from the Met's Specialist Firearms Command, who stopped and searched him as part of an ongoing counter-terrorism organization.
He remains in custody, having been arrested for terrorism act offences and possession of offensive weapons, and there are two ongoing searches at his addresses in London that's part of that investigation.
A second and unrelated investigation on the same day, just before 1900 hours, our highly trained firearms officers carried out a specialist entry into an address in Harlsden Road that we had under observation as part of a current counter-terrorism investigation.
An armed entry was necessary due to the nature of the intelligence that we were dealing with and involved armed officers firing CS into the address.
Two terror plots in one day.
And they say activity continues around the clock to identify and stop these threats and we are making arrests on a near daily basis.
They are arresting potential jihadis every fucking day because they are planning to murder British citizens in the name of Islam.
Honestly, ask yourself, if this was any other political ideology, would this be banned?
Would this, if this was neo-Nazis, every day they were planning terror attacks, and two in one day, every day a neo-Nazi was being arrested for planning to murder fellow citizens in the country, would there not be an outlawing of Nazism?
If it was communists, would there not be an outlawing of communism?
If it was liberals, any other ideology?
But political Islam gets a pass.
In fact, it gets worse.
It seems that there are just Islamophiles everywhere.
The Austrian president calls on all women to wear headscarves in solidarity with Muslims to fight rampant Islamophobia.
I wonder where they're afraid of Islam.
I mean, why would they?
Why would people be afraid of Islam?
It's just that there are Islamic terrorists everywhere in the West, and every day we are arresting them before they manage to murder people, except for those times where they slip through the net and actually murder a bunch of people.
But don't be afraid of Islam.
That's really bigoted.
How dare you?
For fuck's sake.
I'm really sick of this complete lack of prioritization.
Bigotry is not as bad as dead bodies.
I'm sorry if people are being killed in the name of your religion and you don't want to kill anyone and you don't like that other people within your religion are killing people.
I'm sorry.
I'm fucking sorry.
Maybe you should get a new religion.
Maybe you should do something yourselves about the jihadis.
You can't possibly think you are going to persuade people who have been victims of Islam or are directly connected to the victims of Islam to go, well, it's not all of them.
It's just some of them.
Well, that's fine then, isn't it?
If it's just some of them, don't worry about Islam.
If just some of them are killing people, that's okay.
No, don't worry about it.
We'll just keep paying for counter-terrorism police.
Yeah, huge budgets.
Fuck it.
We can afford it.
It's just some of them.
Fucking no.
I'm sorry.
It's up to these communities to root out these problems.
And I'm sure that there are plenty of Muslims who are doing this.
And I'm sure they're doing it with the utmost diligence.
But it's going to have to at some point come down to the fact that, look, it is your communities that are exclusively perpetuating Islamism and producing jihadis.
It's not Catholic communities producing jihadis.
It's not atheist communities producing jihadis.
It's you.
So you've got to figure out why the fuck that's happening, haven't you?
And you can't expect everyone else to just pay for the cancer that's within your own ideology.
I'm sorry, it's not our problem.
Unless you want to levy like a Muslim tax that will tax Muslims to keep terror police watching Muslim communities, I don't see how this is fair to everyone else.
And you're going, yeah, but that's bigoted.
I don't care.
I don't care what you consider to be bigoted.
I'm just tired of the allegation of bigotry anymore.
I don't give a shit.
I'm not bigoted against Hindus or Sikhs or black people or anyone else.
I can tell exactly.
I'm fully capable of discriminating against which communities this is happening in and which it's not.
And it's always happening in Muslim communities.
So don't give me any of this bigotry shit.
Fix your bullshit.
And if you can't fix your bullshit, and you won't say accept a Muslim tax, so you can pay for your inevitable police presence that has to exist around your communities to prevent people from within your communities from killing people, then we have to have an honest conversation.
Don't we?
Because this will not go on forever.
And I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
I don't want this.
I don't want anything like this.
But you're going to have to fucking deal with it.
Be honest.
Anyway, getting back to the Western Islamophiles, he says, it's every woman's right to dress how she wants, and that's my opinion on the matter.
And it was not only Muslim women.
All women can wear a headscarf.
If this real and rampant Islamophobia continues, there will come a day where we must ask all women to wear a headscarf, all out of solidarity for those who do it for religious reasons.
Can you even fucking imagine that?
Oh god, this is just so fucking ass backwards.
Do you understand?
This is just so fucking backwards.
Because Muslim terrorists kill people and people come to not like Islam because of it, now all women are going to have to wear a headscarf out of solidarity for the women who don't even want to wear a headscarf in the fucking first place.
This is unreal.
This is so backwards.
What is wrong with the people in charge?
We are not going to fucking force women to wear a fucking headscarf.
Alright?
No!
You fucking moron, that's never going to happen.
We are never, ever going to do it.
So get the idea out of your fucking mind.
We are in fact going to end up prohibiting Muslim women from being able to wear it, whether they like it or not.
And that's not something I even like.
You saw the Burkini ban.
Merkel's doing the same thing.
She's supporting full face veil bans.
I don't even like this.
I don't like the government dictating what you can and cannot wear.
But you can't think this is something that isn't happening and doesn't need to be addressed.
It's lunacy.
This is from the UK government's advice on traveling to Iran.
Islamic codes of behaviour and dress are strictly enforced.
In any public place, women must cover their heads with a headscarf.
Wear trousers or floor-length skirt, a long-sleeved tunic or coat that reaches to mid-thigh or the knee.
Men should wear long trousers and long sleeve shirts.
They don't have a choice, which is why so many Iranians have come to hate the hijab.
They see it as an instrument of oppression because it is.
There are actually men in Iran who wear the hijab, which is a protest tactic that makes sense.
Saying to women, right, okay, some women are oppressed, so you know what's going to happen?
All of you are going to have to be oppressed, is retarded.
But if men have to wear the hijab as well, that demonstrates how ridiculous the law is.
This is them deliberately violating the convention, rather than making all other women conform to it.
And good on these guys.
This morality police bullshit is horseshit.
It's fucking medieval, and they understand that.
Occasionally I get people saying things like, you know, it doesn't really matter if like social justice is uncool or like the authorities aren't really dealing with Islam in a way that resonates with the public.
It's just, it doesn't matter.
It just doesn't matter.
These things are wrong, they're bigoted, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Okay.
The reason you should pay attention to what the kids are thinking is because they will grow up.
And if you aren't giving them a good, productive, safe, and free system to operate within, they're going to tear it down.
If you actually ask them what they think, you'll find out they're angry.
Europe's youth don't care to vote, but they're ready to join a mass revolt.
And if you cast your mind back to 2011, you can remember the London riots.
That was a youth movement.
And there were people in that saying, we're in charge now.
We want to be the ones calling the shots.
That was the point.
They didn't really have any particular plans.
They just knew they were poor, they had no future, and what the fuck were they going to do about it?
This is not going away.
Young Europeans are sick of the status quo in Europe, and they're ready to take to the streets to bring about change, according to a recent survey.
Around 580,000 respondents in 35 countries were asked the question, would you actively participate in large-scale uprising against the generation in power if it happened in the next days or months?
And more than half of 18 to 34 year olds said yes.
Are you fucking listening?
You middle-aged fucking mom-style comedians.
Are you listening?
Establishment.
All the pro-EU shills everywhere in the media.
All of the out-of-touch middle-class Ramonas, are you listening?
They hate you.
They hate your system and they want to tear it down.
You are being selfish from benefiting from a system that is oppressive to other people.
They don't think voting works.
They don't think voting works and thank God we saw that with Brexit and Trump it does work and maybe if we're lucky it will work with Le Pen as well.
I mean you have to understand how the European Union is impoverishing the youth of Europe.
Do you know I mean I've gone through this before in other videos about I mean look at the one I did about to Richard Dawkins going about how the pigs nations are they have they have incredibly high unemployment rates.
There is no way out of the the ditch that they are in and the youth of these nations know it.
They can tell.
I mean youth unemployment is way higher than regular unemployment anyway so it's no wonder they're sitting here looking at the system and going you know what?
Fuck this shit.
Fuck it all.
I'll just flip the table.
Fuck it all.
See where the pieces land.
It can't be any worse than a future of perpetual decline.
What a surprise.
In Greece 67% of young people said yeah I'd have a large-scale uprising.
In Italy 65%.
Spain 63%.
France 61%.
Unfucking surprising.
The countries hardest hit by the policies of the European Union on poor people and young people are the ones most likely to revolt.
And I imagine that France is right up there for maybe slightly different other reasons.
Voter apathy among the young has long been described as a worrying trend.
In the UK for example youth turnout rates at general elections fell by 28 percentage points from 66 percent in 1992 to 38 percent in 2005 but this declining electoral participation is not necessarily not necessarily evidence of political apathy.
Young people's willingness to protest suggests that they're all still participating in the political process, albeit in a less conventional way.
In a 2014 study young people from Britain, France and Germany were more engaged in direct forms of action.
Compared with older voters, young people were more likely to sign petitions and more than twice as likely to participate in a protest.
These people are still political.
They just don't think voting for a corporate candidate is productive because it's not.
The old paradigm is going to die.
Instead of trying to fight that and suppress all of the new movements coming out of the internet.
Because remember, these are young people.
A lot of them have never lived without the internet.
Hell, I can barely remember a time before it myself, and I didn't get a mobile phone until I was 19.
These people are coming up.
We need to stop demonizing alternate forms of media.
We need to start demonizing other platforms and we need to start conducting actual dialogue that speaks to the real concerns of people.
We need politicians to start dropping the bullshit.
This is why Donald Trump, Le Pen, Farage, they're all popular.
They're really fucking popular with large segments of young people.
It's not a coincidence.
They have not been represented.
Their interests are not being addressed.
And their problems, specifically stemming from the lack of representation of their interests, are not being addressed.
They will make it happen.
The longer this goes on, the more weak and rickety the structure gets.
We could avert a kind of political disaster that appears to be looming on the horizon, but we won't.
There will be just more arrogance, more ignorance, and more persistent whining about bigotry, as if bigotry is the biggest problem in the fucking world.
Oh, that's a white supremacist hand signal.
Yeah, let's assume who it is.
So, fucking what?
Where are the white supremacist laws?
Where are they?
Where are the white supremacist death squads marching through the streets?
You don't have any?
Right, okay, we'll focus on the Islamist terrorists then.
We'll focus on the communist terrorists then.
Should we do that?
We have Islamists marching through the streets.
We have jihadis blowing things up or desperately trying to.
And then we have communist terror cells all across the West that are being fomented from universities.
