Time Text
Let's have a talk about how badly Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign is going.
For a period of time, she was decisively leading over Donald Trump in the polls.
And then for some reason, she decided to go off the rails completely.
And I don't even know why she would do this, but make a speech about the alt-right.
And she ended up making herself not only a figure of fun, but she made herself sound like a complete lunatic.
And this is part of a broader story.
The rising tide of hardline right-wing nationalism around the world.
Just yesterday, one of Britain's most prominent right-wing leaders, a man named Nigel Farage, who stoked anti-immigrant sentiments to win the referendum to have Britain leave the European Union, campaign with Donald Trump in Mississippi.
Farage has called for a bar on the children of legal immigrants from public schools and health services, has said women are, and I quote, worth less than men, and supports scrapping laws that prevent employers from discriminating based on race.
That's who Donald Trump wants by his side when he is addressing an audience of American voters.
And the grand godfather of this global brand of extreme nationalism is Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This is probably the worst thought house propaganda I've ever heard.
I mean, I have no idea whether Nigel Farage believes any of those things or said any of those things.
But to be honest with you, I wouldn't trust Hillary to tell me the time of day.
So I don't, I imagine that's all been taken out of context.
But not only that, the problem that we're having here, Hillary, is that you've just proposed an international nationalist conspiracy.
That was just the part I found most absurd.
But people at home took away from this that Hillary Clinton is attacking a section of the electorate.
This in itself is a massive faux pas.
There is no way you can try and shame the voters into voting for you.
It's not going to work.
But then she doubled down on it with the basket of deplorables comment.
To just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.
Right?
The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it.
And unfortunately, there are people like that.
And he has lifted them up.
I'm honestly in awe of just how misinformed and how much of a bad idea this was.
I mean, to start with, she obviously doesn't understand what's going on here.
Trump isn't uplifting the alt-right.
They are uplifting him.
They're the ones deifying him and spreading these memes all over the internet.
And they're funny, but we'll talk about memes in a minute.
Attacking the demos is probably the worst thing you can do in a democracy, especially when you can't actually point to anyone specific.
Hillary thought that she would be able to win over moderate Republicans by demonizing the white nationalist racist elements of Trump's supporters.
The problem is, she doesn't know who exactly they are.
And that allowed Trump to do this.
While my opponent slanders you as deplorable and irredeemable, Yep, Trump can simply imply that she's talking about everyone who supports him, making her look like a bigot.
But it gets better, doesn't it?
What else does this give Trump the perfect opportunity to do?
We are honored.
My wife and I represent non-deplorable people.
Yeah, Trump gets to find his African-American supporters and put them front and center along with a lot of respectable looking but obviously working class people who are the regular average American Joe that the regular average American is going to look at and be able to relate to.
But Hillary Clinton's own goal is not yet complete.
Again, let's go back to her alt-right speech.
We can have our disagreements and believe me, I understand that.
I think that's healthy.
We need good debates.
But we need to do it in a respectful way.
Not finger pointing and blaming and stirring up this bigotry and prejudice.
Every day, more Americans are standing up and saying, enough is enough, including a lot of Republicans, and I am honored to have their support in this campaign.
And I promise you this.
With your help, I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.
For those who vote for me, and for those who vote against me, I will be a president for all Americans.
Unbelievable.
I mean, this would ring a little less hollow if she spent less time demonizing a quarter of the electorate.
But worse than that, by putting half of Trump's supporters in her basket of deplorables, she's specifically saying that these are not Americans.
She has outright stated she is not going to help these people.
She is in fact working against these people.
If demonizing a poorly defined section of the electorate wasn't bad enough, Hillary then goes on to demonstrate that she learned nothing from Saul Alinsky.
And I hate to break it to you alt-writers who are watching, you learned a lot from him.
Whether you know it or not, you are working directly from Rules for Radicals.
Specifically, you are using Alinsky's third rule.
Whenever possible, go outside of the experience of the enemy.
This is then followed by Alinsky's fifth rule.
Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.
This plays into the sixth rule, which is a good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
And you are also, of course, using the eighth rule.
Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions.
But that's not all.
You're also using Alinsky's methods of attack.
Watch this.
Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy.
Would your would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?
You actually have her saying this.
She's quoting Milo articles to her audience, and it's hilarious.
I mean, even the audience found it funny.
Alinsky recommends tactics that not only go outside of the realm of experience of your opponents, and that are also fun to do and cause ridicule, but the very concept of reporting on these tactics is ridiculous in itself.
On page 143, Alinsky describes how he's going to pressure O'Hare International Airport Complex by occupying their toilets with many, many people, and organizing the nation's first shit-in.
He says, The whole scene would become unbelievable, and the laughter and ridicule would be nationwide.
It would probably get a front-page story in the London Times.
it would be a source of great mortification and embarrassment to the city administration.
This is on Hillary Clinton's website.
Donald Trump, Pepe the Frog, and white supremacists.
An explainer.
That cartoon frog is more sinister than you might realise.
Honestly, I can't believe this is real.
I can't believe that on Hillary Clinton's campaign website, she is complaining about a cartoon frog.
You can't tell people about this without you looking like the person who is ridiculous.
Seriously, just look at this.
Why is there a frog standing directly behind Trump?
That's Pepe.
He's a symbol associated with white supremacy.
Wait, really?
White supremacy?
That's right.
Honestly, what are you doing posting a Donald Trump Pepe on the Hillary Clinton website?
You can't explain this without you looking like an idiot.
People are laughing at the Clinton campaign for giving a fuck about this.
Why would you care what Pepe the Frog is?
Come on.
But aside from looking ridiculous, there is this kind of miasma surrounding the Clinton campaign.
No matter where she goes, no matter what speech she gives, it's always negative.
It's always a downer.
And if watching all her speeches isn't enough for you, you can see this even in her Twitter timeline.
She's either talking down Donald Trump, talking down various segments of the voting public, or just openly lying to their faces, claiming that she's going to get tough on Wall Street and all other manner of nonsense.
And in direct contrast, Trump's Twitter feed is the epitome of positivity.
He's either going around talking about how great everyone around him is, even making a funeral sound like a positive thing, or promoting his interviews, and sometimes even chewing people out when they've pissed him off.
But there is just this constant stream of positive energy coming from Donald Trump.
And after Hillary's basket of deplorables comments, all Trump had to say was, while Hillary said horrible things about my supporters, and many of her supporters will never vote for me, I still respect them all.
That's an incredible number.
And to top it all off, he retweeted a Barack Obama tweet from 2012.
Retweet if you agree.
We need a president who is fighting for all Americans, not one who writes off nearly half the country.
Oh shit, son.
Hillary just got wrecked by the Democratic president who endorses her.
And all this while Donald Trump is sitting fat and happy in the moral high ground.
But there's no denying that Donald Trump is using this in a very, very effective way.
He is taking good advantage of her weaknesses and using this kind of political jujitsu against her.
Hillary has the entire mainstream media behind her.
They love her.
They hate Trump and Trump is demolishing her.
And don't get me wrong, in some ways it does come off a lot like this.
God forbid, something further happens to this witch.
And then we come on to the trending topic of Hillary's health, which is something I've never actually touched upon because frankly, I didn't think there was enough evidence to build a case.
His latest paranoid fever dream is about my health.
And all I can say is, Donald, dream on.
Yep, dream on, Donald, except I am going to display sign after sign of how I may well be in poor health.
Various other accusations, but there was nothing concrete, nothing solid.
But then Hillary kept appearing in public.
So back in 2012, Hillary Clinton had a blood clot on the brain, for which she received treatment and made a full recovery.
And there have been loads of videos of her doing weird things in public.
And don't get me wrong, these are really bizarre things, and they do hint that there might be some underlying problem with her, but I'm no doctor, so I have no idea.
I'm in no position to diagnose.
And there are other explanations as well.
I mean, she spends all of her time talking to people.
She spends all of her time traveling and making public appearances and talking to people.
So I would expect some instances where she was acting bizarrely.
And Trump has a few of his own as well.
And don't get me wrong, this is clearly suspicious, but it's in no way conclusive.
To quash these rumors about her health, she went on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show and opened a jar of pickles that had apparently not been tampered with.
Now, the fact that it has no label means that it has.
But look how difficult that was for her.
She looked like she could barely do it.
And obviously this thing's been tampered with.
But worse than that comes Hillary's public coughing fits, where she, and this is from one speech, where she is literally coughing non-stop for more than four minutes.
Let's go to Cleveland!
And I want to thank Congresswoman Marsha Fudge for hosting us.
Every time I think about Trump, I get allergic.
Boy, we have 63 days to go.
Thank you.
Whoa.
Well, you just heard the next vice president, didn't you?
In addition to thanking Marcia Fudge, let me also thank your great senator, Sherrod Brown.
You're probably wondering how much of that was going to make you watch, right?
But seriously, this just keeps going.
And she sounds at the end of it like an old woman.
And all of the challenges and the opportunities that we face.
That's why this election is critical to every person in this state.
At this point, I'm actually feeling sorry for her.
She sounds like someone's grandmother.
And not only that, you got the point where she spits out a good mouthful of phlegm just in the most gross possible way I can imagine.
Look at that.
Not only is that disgusting, that's clearly not something that happens to a healthy human being, Hillary.
That is just, that's vile.
And then on the 15th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, Hillary Clinton went to a memorial service in the morning in New York and collapsed.
Before this, everything really could have been brushed off as minor, like a chest infection or something and just dismissed.
But look at the way that her mind is holding her up anyway, and that she's leaning on this post.
And then she starts just losing it.
And then they literally have to pick her up and drag her into the car.
Because she can't move under her own power.
Hillary supporters can scoff at people and call them tinfoil all they want, but her feet just aren't even on the ground, they're just being dragged along.
Like I said, I'm not a doctor, and I'm in no way able to diagnose this with any kind of accuracy, but I would not vote for someone who appears to be so infirm and frail.
Afterwards, it was claimed that she was either feeling overheated or had pneumonia or something like this, but come on.
She completely lost control of her own body, and she had to be bundled into the back of her vehicle, and the people around her acted as if they knew what to do if this was going to happen.
As if this wasn't the first time this had happened.
There are outlets like the Washington Post who are very pro-Hillary who have done a U-turn on this issue saying, look, her health has become a real issue because of that video right there.
And the reason that I think her health really is a genuine issue now is because of the pressure of being the President of the United States.
This is Obama after three years of being the president.
He looks like he's aged 10.
And this is him after eight years of being the president.
He looks like he's aged 20 fucking years.
God, look at him.
It's exactly the same with Bush, and it was exactly the same with Clinton.
The US presidency looks like a gypsy curse that sucks the life out of the people who have to do it.
I don't know why anyone wants this job.
It looks like a death sentence.
And do I think that a 68-year-old woman who has health problems is appropriate for the job?
No.
But then I don't really think a 70-year-old man is appropriate for the job either.
The office of president evidently comes with such an unbelievable amount of stress that it tells within only a few years of doing it.
So why the hell are you electing people who are so fucking old?
Why are your choices between two people who should be retired?
