So what you're about to see me do is called an implicit association test.
I'll leave a link in the description if you'd like to take a look at it yourself, of course.
And important disclaimer.
In reporting to you any results of the IAT test that you take, we will mention possible interpretations that have a basis in research done with these tests.
However, these universities as well as the individual researchers who have contributed to this site make no claim to the validity of these suggested interpretations.
So what they're saying is that these interpretations might be complete bullshit, just so you're aware.

Oh, my data suggests little to no automatic preference between African American and European American.

But I still don't really think this test is a particularly accurate way of determining whether someone is actually an unconscious racist.
For a few reasons.
First, being, honestly, I don't think it's about necessarily having a bias against black people.
I think it's about just how quickly you can categorize what you're looking at and then map it to the hand that you're supposed to be inputting with.
I mean, I'm left-handed for a start, so I found that one easier, and that's probably why a lot of the time I was going left when it was actually right.
But okay, a few of these questions.
