Time Text
So today is December 9th 2014 putting together a Christmas care package for Sargon of Akkad who being a broke ass motherfucker would appreciate being able to upgrade his PC.
I've been looking at his videos for a couple months and as I was rooting around his Patreon I found out that he is slumming along in a five-year-old laptop which sounds about as much fun as a trip to the dentist.
So we're packing up a nice 750 watt of Corsair power supply
Asus Sabertooth 990FX motherboard probably going all the way after here's 8 gigabytes of RAM user's manual always good to have Republic Commando one of my favorite games of all time I've got about four copies that's a spare one I think this is a solid state drive 128 gigabyte heatset fan gotta have that
this is a 750 gigabyte sling line hard drive for bulk storage cheap ass dollar store mouse it's got a wheel browser buttons it's optical better than sticking your finger in the port
I have no idea what kind of monitor Sargon has so this is a VGA cable and a VDI cable in case he has you doing the 21st century and a converter in case he has it power cable hope he's got a UK converter for that and power cables
And the video card which is a one of my old old, old backup Radion 3870X2 from about circa 2008.
But it'll run Skyrim so, who knows, he may find a good use for it.
Can't be any worse than the video card he's got in his laptop.
Five-year-old, who knows what the hell Intel GMA shit he's pushing.
And I'm gonna hold off on these NVIDIA cards for now.
Might send them to him later, but I don't think.
I think he would be better off.
Since it's an AMD motherboard, I think he would be better off sticking with a Radion video card for compatibility issues.
And here's an ASUS Blu-ray DVD player.
I'm gonna sort all this stuff out proper.
Got a little more rapping to do.
Plus, I gotta fill out the customs forms.
So, Merry Christmas for Sarnan of Akad.
Hello, everyone.
So, as you just saw from the care package video there from Glenn, he sent me an incredibly generous gift.
And the thing is, it's kind of too generous for me to accept because it really seems that he's sending it on the proviso that I'm a broke-ass motherfucker.
And thanks to everyone's wonderful support of me, I'm not.
I think I'm doing okay, you know?
So, I don't want to take advantage of someone else's generosity on the idea that I'm incredibly impoverished.
And at the moment, I'm doing alright, so I don't want to.
I just feel guilty accepting such a generous gift.
So, I discussed it with Glenn, and he said that it'd be perfectly acceptable for me to use his care package as a prize in a competition.
I've never run any competitions before because I've never had anything to give away.
So, I don't really have any good ideas for what we could do for a Gamergate competition.
So, if you'd like to leave a comment down in the comment section, and if you see someone who's already made a comment that you agree with, please upvote it.
And the most upvoted comment will become our competition.
Presuming it is some sort of competition.
Comment and not you're a faggot that 5,000 people have upvoted.
But no, seriously, I thought it would be nice to kind of pay it forward, you know, because I actually replaced my computer about three or four months ago after the old one blew up.
So, my computer's actually not that bad at the moment.
And it's not that, you know, I don't appreciate it.
And I tell you, it's a hell of a nice bit of just a bunch of equipment he sent through.
And honestly, it's fucking incredible.
You know, I just feel guilty accepting it.
And I'd like to pay it forward.
You know, someone who can maybe earn it or maybe needs it more than me or something like that.
Just, you know, someone I can send it to who can really get some good use out of it.
Not that I don't want to.
See, I feel guilty because I feel like I'm kind of besmirching Glenn's original intention and sending it to me.
But I'm really not trying to do that.
But yeah, so if you could leave me with some good ideas for a competition, and the most popular one we will use as the competition, and then I shall announce it and run it under however long it should be, depending on the competition that wins.
And I will send this prize package to the winner.
And I might even throw in some sort of minor second and third-place prizes as well, just because it seems an awful lot to send an entire computer to someone and then nothing to anyone else.
But I'll get to those.
Depending on what the competition is and, you know, how many people enter and whatnot.
