[00:01:35] Prosecutor from the investigation and a former CIA director, John Brennan, is now off the case, according to people briefed on the matter. [00:01:42] They say the Justice Department removed career prosecutor Maria Mededis Long from the case after she resisted pressure to quickly bring charges against Brennan. [00:01:51] Remember, Brennan is under investigation for his 2017 intelligence assessment. [00:01:55] That found that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to help Donald Trump. [00:02:00] Long led the case for months amid growing demands from Trump to prosecute Brennan and other critics. [00:02:06] The Miami U.S. Attorney's Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment. [00:02:11] A lot of questions. [00:02:12] This is a moving target today with a lot of pieces. [00:02:15] And one of the big questions is what the White House is doing to make sure the strait stays open. [00:02:19] What are you hearing about all of it? [00:02:22] Yeah, Jessica, what we know right now is that these officials, the U.S. officials, Pakistani officials, Iranian officials, are all working feverishly behind the scenes. [00:02:29] But I do want to post here. [00:02:30] Or at least draw your attention to a post from Donald Trump on Truth Social because it gives us an idea of what the United States is doing. [00:02:37] He says, The Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for business and full passage, but the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran only until such a time our transaction with Iran is 100% complete. [00:02:51] That clearly goes to show you that we are maintaining a posture of maximum pressure in this scenario to ensure that they keep the Strait open. [00:03:00] Post from U.S. Central Command reiterating what the president said that this naval blockade is going to stay in place until it is necessary to remove it, meaning until they have some sort of a deal with Iran that is firmly in place. [00:03:14] Now, it has been sort of difficult to sort out what exactly is happening behind the scenes because we're hearing very different takes from U.S. officials who are telling us that the Trump administration is considering unfreezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets as part of a deal. [00:03:29] But we're also hearing from President Trump who said the complete opposite. [00:03:33] He's doing these kind of Quick phone interviews that he does with reporters, and one of them saying that he expects the deal in the next day or two, and another saying that Iran agreed to not only suspend its nuclear program indefinitely, but that they wouldn't receive any frozen funds. [00:03:49] So even though these U.S. officials are telling us that is under consideration, he is saying that's not out there. [00:03:55] He is not going to do that. [00:03:57] So we're still piecing together what exactly. [00:04:00] Denver, let's go into it. [00:04:01] Okay, we're going to go to the stage. [00:08:23] They knew, as we do, that every American has the opportunity to better their circumstance no matter what. [00:08:33] No matter the color of your skin or gender or where you started in life or what you're told you can't do, as an American, you have the chance for a brighter future and the chance to go after your dreams simply because you are an American. [00:08:56] There are endless stories of Americans who started in actual ghettos, in true poverty. [00:09:04] And rose to lead industries. [00:09:07] Those are the stories that need to be told over and over. [00:09:13] Young girls can achieve anything that they strive for in this country. [00:09:27] Charlie and Rush recognized our country's history is flawed and not perfect. [00:09:35] However, despite any imperfections, we as a country have made tremendous strides over these decades to right our wrongs. [00:09:47] There are so many examples of this. [00:09:50] Those examples should also be told over and over. [00:09:57] Our country is made Up of countless everyday heroes doing extraordinary things who showcase we as American people represent much more goodness than evil and always will. [00:12:52] Soon after Rush announced his cancer diagnosis to millions on the radio, we headed off to Boston. [00:13:00] for what we thought was a scheduled surgery and treatment. [00:13:05] When we landed in Boston, the phone rang, and sure enough, it was President Trump. [00:13:13] He asked what we were doing, and Rush said, oh, well, just preparing for surgery this afternoon. [00:13:20] President Trump, without hesitation, said, how about coming to the Capitol tonight? [00:13:27] Sitting in an old T shirt in Boston, Rush looked at me and said, Tonight? [00:13:36] Mind you, the t shirt was about all that he had packed. [00:13:41] Oh, no, no, no, we couldn't possibly make it to Washington tonight. [00:13:47] Well, you all know how persuasive President Trump can be. [00:13:53] Needless to say, the surgery was delayed, and we were in the Capitol hours later for Rush to be presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. [00:14:14] It was a night we will never forget. [00:14:18] Every few days, President Trump would take time out of his very busy day to call Rush just to check in. [00:14:29] No agenda, just simply, how are you holding up? [00:14:35] President Trump is a great man who cares for our country so deeply and Americans in that very same way. [00:15:28] Eric, can you summarize where actually we stand with the situation in Hormuz and in the Uh, Gulf of Oman with our we have a blockade with the U.S. Navy. [00:15:41] Looks like the Iranian Guard still control Hormuz, although it is technically open, I guess, sir. [00:15:47] Yeah, well, President Trump says it's open. [00:15:50] There's a couple of naysayers in the Middle East, um, countries saying, well, not so fast, not all of it. [00:15:54] But I'll tell you, Steve, um, if you haven't watched the war room, you don't know this. [00:15:58] But anytime you really need to know what's going on in the Middle East, forget the noise, forget the legacy media. [00:16:03] You look at the oil markets, and this morning at 95 a barrel, we came in when. [00:16:08] When Trump said it's all clear, it dropped to $78. [00:16:11] That's an 18% drop, $17 a barrel. [00:16:15] Ended up moving up a little bit when, when someone from the Middle East said, not quite fully opened yet. [00:16:20] But wow, what amazing success. [00:16:23] This thing was so easy, so simple and so smart. [00:16:26] You know, they took the money away from Iran. [00:16:28] They took the ball. [00:16:29] They took the only Trump card they held literally and said, we got this now. [00:16:33] Trump said, we got this now. [00:16:34] You don't have the straight of hormones. [00:16:36] We do. [00:16:36] Iran can't sell their oil. [00:16:38] And better yet, Not only can Iran not sell their oil, China can't get that oil. [00:16:43] So it's a double, it's a buy one, get one. [00:16:45] It's a twofer. [00:16:46] So oil doesn't go to China. [00:16:48] They have to deplete their reserves, and Iran doesn't get to fill their coffers with the petrodollars. [00:16:54] Hang on, but I want to go back to something because I don't trust any of these people over there. [00:16:59] Actually, it's the Iranian Guard, or I actually say the pirates that are down on Oman on one side and Iran or Persia on the other. [00:17:10] Because I think you're seeing charts and maps that show that nobody's going through. [00:17:13] There's announcements out there that Israeli vessels going to Israel or the United States can't go through. [00:17:20] Do we have what is kind of the bid in the ass of what we know actually about the strait? [00:17:26] Literally, I would tell you based on, again, that oil price, I would say it's well bid that the strait is open to whoever Trump wants to go through. [00:17:35] Let's put it that way. [00:17:36] It may not be a full open strait, 150 ships traveling, but the ones that Trump is willing or the Trump administration is willing. [00:17:44] Willing to have go through are going through. [00:17:45] Steve, I don't know if you played this for your audience. [00:17:47] It's amazing. [00:17:48] The U.S. Navy, the seamen telling ships as they tried to transverse the strait, saying, if you don't turn around, you will have you'll feel the full force power of the U.S. Navy on you. [00:17:59] And guess what, Steve? [00:18:00] 14 tried, 14 were sent back. [00:18:02] They decided not worth the trip. [00:18:04] So I would say it's open to whatever Trump wants it to be open to. [00:18:10] Are you sure? [00:18:11] You sure that they're not playing games if you see these charts and nothing's coming out? [00:18:15] Because a couple of announcements today from the Middle East. [00:18:18] Saying, hey, we still control it and we'll let out who we want to let out. [00:18:24] Not sure because I'm not there, but I will tell you, Steve, how many times over the last 50 days or so have we heard, uh, the straight is going to be open or we're going to finish this or concluded and oil kept going up. [00:18:34] And that was the indicator. [00:18:35] Like there's, there's something going on that we don't know. [00:18:37] The legacy media will tell us one thing. [00:18:39] Fox News will tell you another thing. [00:18:40] But for us and for me, I think it's been pretty much spot on for the, for the duration of this, that no matter what you were hearing in the news reports, if you just watched the price of oil where it was headed, you kind of knew how the level of conflict that was happening. [00:18:54] And for us to turn around this with a 18% drop in one trading session tells me that it's open to the tankers that Trump is willing to let transverse. [00:19:06] And that's something that you and I could talk about at some point. [00:19:08] Is it wise to let China start getting that oil? [00:19:11] I mean, maybe it's time, maybe it's a wait and see attitude. [00:19:16] I don't think it's wise at all. [00:19:17] I think until you've got some sort of agreement, because I think there are so many still moving pieces, President Trump's kind of laid a framework for it, and I'm sure he's going to address today. [00:19:27] At Turning Point. [00:19:28] It's one of the reasons I believe they're all running a few minutes late. [00:19:31] This was supposed to start, I think, technically at five o'clock Eastern Daylight Time and maybe closer to six. [00:19:37] I think one of the reasons President Trump, I think, is in the middle of negotiations or talking to people back and forth. [00:19:42] He's definitely going to give us an update. [00:19:44] I talked to some folks at Treasury this afternoon. [00:19:48] Everybody thinks there's big momentum. [00:19:49] But as you know over there, one of the things I've been saying, Eric, is that who you're actually negotiating with and who actually has the ability to execute on a deal. [00:19:59] My belief is the closer you get down to the actual Strait of Hormuz itself, you're kind of in Indian country, right? [00:20:05] You're in bandit country. [00:20:07] You've got pirates down there. [00:20:09] You've got some Bedouins. [00:20:11] You've got bad hombres and you've got worse hombres. [00:20:15] And of course, any one of them can take a pot shot at a vessel. [00:20:19] The Iranian Guard's supposed to control it. [00:20:21] I know they've been in discussions. [00:20:22] They're saying, hey, you know, President Trump's saying, hey, the Strait is open. [00:20:26] We've got the blockade. [00:20:27] I still don't know if the Navy. [00:20:30] You know, my sources are there. [00:20:31] I don't think the Navy's letting anybody through right now. [00:20:33] So it's up in the air. [00:20:34] However, directionally, I think this is good or looking good. [00:20:39] And you're telling me the markets are all sitting there and saying they think something good's going to happen, the price is starting to fall? [00:20:46] Yeah, in fact, they are showing it. [00:20:49] They're walking, they're speaking with their money. [00:20:52] Again, not speculators. [00:20:53] These are the people I talk to. [00:20:55] I talk to refiners. [00:20:56] I talk to transporters. [00:20:58] I talk to producers. [00:20:59] And for a long time, we were hearing some positive things. [00:21:02] Things were going to slow down in the Middle East. [00:21:04] Trump was going to win. [00:21:05] He's going to pull out. [00:21:05] And oil kept going up. [00:21:06] And I said to you, Steve, we talked. [00:21:08] It's not done yet. [00:21:09] It's not done yet. [00:21:10] This tells me that there's, again, if you're a strategist, if Trump wanted to hold this up a while, he could hold the. [00:21:20] The Chinese shipments. [00:21:21] Maybe he wants to let some Indian ships go through or some Europeans. [00:21:25] I will tell you, Brent crude is still over $90 a barrel. [00:21:29] So once that one shows some signs of weakness, then I think it's probably all clear in the Strait of Hormuz. [00:21:35] But WTI, remember, it's a function of how strong that Middle Eastern crude is that goes to India, that goes to Asia, Asian countries, and Europe. [00:21:45] Once the European crude starts to come down, WTI, we're less, I guess, held hostage by the Strait of Hormuz. [00:21:52] Than the Europeans are in the Asians. [00:21:54] So the WTEC guy comes down because we're flush with oil. [00:21:58] The bottom line is it was $55 a barrel before this started because we had plenty of production. [00:22:03] We had plenty of supply. [00:22:05] It's Europe and really China that's at risk of economic slowdown, of potential recession or worse if they don't get their oil. [00:22:16] That's why I think it's a really important strategic move to decide who gets the oil that's coming through. [00:22:22] Listen, if you're marked to go to China, maybe just we're going to hold you up for a while. [00:22:26] Hey, he can do it. [00:22:28] He owns the straight right now. [00:22:29] It's amazing, amazing, powerful, powerful tool he's got in his hand. [00:22:36] What are markets and what are the European and the refiners and the players over there looking for in President Trump's remarks today at Turning Point? [00:22:46] Because President Trump is going to address the war. [00:22:49] Of that, there's no doubt. [00:22:50] What are markets and what are players over there looking for? [00:22:55] Timing, Steve, timing and volume. [00:22:57] Remember, right before the war started, And people stopped transversing the strait. [00:23:03] There were 130 to 150 vessels that go through. [00:23:06] Not all were oil, but they're predominantly oil vessels that went through on a daily basis. [00:23:12] How many are going to get through? [00:23:13] So, how much oil gets out and how often, right? [00:23:16] So, if nothing's gone through in 50 days or so, is it immediately there's 100 ships or 50 ships coming through? [00:23:23] And again, where are they going? [00:23:25] And for that reason, it tells me, you know, $110, $115 a barrel, down to $78 earlier today at one point. [00:23:33] The smart people, the people who are in the know, think that whatever's going to happen over the course of time is going to be positive, not positive to the price of oil, positive to the economic well being of not only the United States, but likely the whole world. [00:23:49] And who are people going to believe? [00:23:50] Because right now there is a discrepancy. [00:23:52] And like I said, you don't know who really is controlling the deal over with the Iranians. [00:23:58] I keep saying this. [00:23:59] And you don't know who can really effectuate a deal. [00:24:02] And particularly in that part of Iran, I continue to say when you get down to the Strait of Hormuz, you're down in, you know, you've gone from Indian country to the pirates. [00:24:13] Because they have been out today with some counter statements. [00:24:16] Do you think the markets are saying, hey, Trump's in charge here? [00:24:19] They shrugged it off, Steve. [00:24:21] They shrugged it off. [00:24:21] Those traders shrugged off all those counter statements. [00:24:24] They said, you know, and they actually shrugged off Trump's statements on the way up, and they were right. [00:24:30] So, Trump was early on, if you remember, this is going to be over within a week. [00:24:36] Early on, they didn't believe that, and oil kept making its move higher, advancing higher and higher. [00:24:41] And they shrugged, but today, they shrugged off the other side, which is, I believe, they've been right straight through it, Steve. [00:24:48] I mean, people say that we've been talking about it, and we've been right on War Room almost every day. [00:24:52] But it's really not that difficult. [00:24:54] I've been doing it for 36 years. [00:24:55] I just watch the major players in the oil markets because they're the ones with the most at risk. [00:25:01] Yeah, American people, yes, gas pump, yes. [00:25:03] But the people whose livelihoods, whose jobs, whose careers, whose companies rely on the price of oil aren't taking news media reports and applying them to their position, their books, or the risk portfolios. [00:25:18] They're taking what they see and what they know. [00:25:21] We're going to go live to the stage. [00:25:23] Eric, hang on one second. [00:25:40] They've got an exclusive cover today on the tax bill, on President Trump's tax returns, what he's done for working people. [00:25:48] It says, Many happy returns. [00:25:50] Workers rejoice as Trump's law bumps tax refunds 11% to average $3,400. [00:25:56] And of course, inside, There's a huge exclusive. [00:25:59] The folks in Treasury wanted to make sure I saw that. [00:26:02] It's an amazing article. [00:26:03] But is the war and other issues kind of big footed? [00:26:07] President Trump went to Vegas. [00:26:09] First, I had the DoorDash, he had a DoorDash grandma show up the other day at the White House. [00:26:15] Even he said it was a little bit gimmicky. [00:26:17] I think President Trump said it the other day. [00:26:19] Then yesterday in Vegas. [00:26:21] Do you think that the war news and what we're talking about oil has kind of big footed what President Trump and Besson worked on so long to make sure that? [00:26:30] Whether it is the $6,000 abatement on social, you know, for elderly people, whether it is the no tax on tips, where there's no tax on overtime. [00:26:43] Do you think that message has been promulgated enough that people are actually hearing it? [00:26:48] Because this, to me, is one of the biggest, most important parts of the Trump tax bill for working class people, sir. [00:26:58] The news media just loves, they got bad cases of Trump derangement syndrome, so they'll take the worst of everything, they'll put it up there. [00:27:05] Meanwhile, as you went into April 15th, you didn't realize in the big beautiful bill, I think it was on average, people were saving somewhere around 10 to 11% just because of the big beautiful bill and what they got pushed through. [00:27:17] Child tax credit increases, like you point out, no taxes on tips, no taxes on Social Security, so many things, no taxes on auto loans, so many things that came into fruition. [00:27:28] I think they realized that. [00:27:30] On Wednesday, April 15th, because wow, this is great. [00:27:34] Leading up to that, the fear of inflation, that fear of a $5 gallon of gasoline, certainly overrode anything that they thought they were going to benefit from with one big beautiful bill. [00:27:45] So both of these things working together at the same time, oil coming down, hopefully eases the price of the pump. [00:27:51] Again, it's going to take a while for the pump to really come down because all that oil that was traded at $110 or $105 a barrel has to work its way through the system, takes about 30 days or so. [00:28:03] And we're in the driving season. [00:28:04] So it'll stay, the demand and the price will stay elevated where it could be or should be. [00:28:08] But in the meantime, it's a positive development. [00:28:11] You've got the big, beautiful bill that's putting more money in people's pockets, allowing them to keep more of our own money instead of stealing it through taxation. [00:28:18] And then once you get through the summer driving season, you're going to head into the election season, probably looking pretty good. [00:28:25] Eric Bowling, where do people get you? [00:29:57] Talked about his wife that he couldn't do it without her and her involvement. [00:30:01] Really called on the state of Arizona to come together and put him in office. [00:30:05] But really, I think what we're getting here is the sense of urgency. [00:30:11] Well, we've got an announcement. [00:30:38] Bo Davidson, your thoughts, sir. [00:30:41] Yeah, Steve, you just mentioned the lineup. [00:30:43] Earlier today, there was Danica Patrick, of course, from NASCAR, Jay Feely, former NFL kicker who's running for Congress there in Arizona, Eli Crane, Abe Hamada, Paul Gosar, John Siscomani. [00:30:55] And, Steve, I was listening to Andy Biggs earlier, and he said something that I think is critical. [00:30:59] And this kind of touches on what Brian just said about. [00:31:01] Arizona being important. [00:31:03] Andy Biggs called Arizona the fulcrum of national politics, that people look to Arizona because Dems want to permanently turn it blue. [00:31:11] And I think it's very important as Donald Trump takes the stage today in a victory lap of so many things that people thought he could not do, run the verge here of peace with Iran, potentially the peace between Israel and Lebanon. [00:31:24] Could Lebanon join the Gulf states in an alliance? [00:31:28] There's so many things at stake, which I'm sure the president will address, but how appropriate. [00:31:33] That everything is centering right now in the state of Arizona, that is, Andy Biggs, I think rightly said, is the fulcrum of national politics that we've got to be paying attention to right now in building this virtual red wall and not losing midterms. [00:31:45] And, Steve, I just think that it's appropriate at this particular moment to take this victory lap because affordability has been an issue, gas has been an issue, and I think it's time for the president to address that, and I think that he will tonight. [00:31:59] Bo, you know Andy, you've sat through a lot of speeches. [00:32:03] Andy's fantastic. [00:32:04] He's been one of the leaders in this FISA fight. [00:32:07] And of course, the budget fight. [00:32:08] Andy Biggs is the best, but of course, he's leaving Congress to run for the governorship. [00:32:13] Andy Biggs was very choked up, talked about his wife. [00:32:16] It got very, very personal there, didn't it? [00:32:19] It did. [00:32:20] It did. [00:32:20] It got personal. [00:32:21] And I'll even take that one step further with Catherine Limbaugh talking about Charlie being the younger version of Rush. [00:32:29] It is an interesting thing, Steve, to think about what the conversation in heaven is like right now between Charlie Kirk and Rush Limbaugh. [00:32:35] I have to admit that that gave me pause and made me tear up as well, looking down in this situation and what we're on the precipice of right now. [00:32:43] But what I liked about what Andy said, and especially what Catherine Limbaugh said, is that what made Rush and Charlie unique is that they talked with you, not at you. [00:32:54] Yes. [00:32:54] And that's an important thing to remember as we talk about the legacy of Charlie Kirk and what he's established. [00:33:00] You know, she told young people, use your voices, use your minds, use the freedom of speech that you have. [00:33:04] And that's something that Charlie, you know, carried through his dying day was that. [00:33:08] And so as I think about what Charlie and Rush are looking down upon right now, Steve, I have to think that there's a smile that's happening. [00:33:15] I really do, a heavenly smile about what's happening, the fact that we can still have free speech and that young people should step out and speak out. [00:33:22] I think it's really, really important. [00:33:24] So between what Andy Biggs said and I think what Catherine Limbaugh said, this is a moment for us to pause and to remember the freedoms that we certainly have and should exercise. [00:33:32] No, and I tell you, Catherine does not make a lot of public appearances like this. [00:33:36] She's not part of these kind of conferences or these rallies. [00:33:39] So, very extraordinary moment and absolutely incredible. [00:33:44] Yeah. [00:33:45] What do you anticipate the president's going to say tonight or this evening about the situation in the war? [00:33:52] Well, here's what I'd like for him to say, Stephen. [00:33:54] I've been thinking about this for the past hour or so, and I'll just use the word recalibration here because this is what I'm seeing, and I think that. [00:34:03] If this translates to Americans, that they'll get it. [00:34:05] And I think midterms will be a lot more optimistic. [00:34:08] So there's the recalibration, of course, in the Middle East for the foreseeable future. [00:34:11] And that, of course, affects China. [00:34:12] That affects Russia. [00:34:14] Putting these countries on notice that Trump will crush you militarily or Trump will crush you economically. [00:34:20] I think those are two very important points. [00:34:22] Recalibrating Israel as well. [00:34:24] The president telling B.B. Netanyahu, hey, enough is enough. [00:34:27] We're going to recalibrate this with you, too. [00:34:28] You can't just keep fighting in an endless war as well. [00:34:31] Then I think a recalibration with the Gulf states and what the Abraham Accords established. [00:34:36] Could Lebanon join those states? [00:34:38] I think that's a possibility. [00:34:40] And then, Steve, I think we can't overlook the recalibration, maybe with a religious recalibration, with what's been happening with Pope Leo. [00:34:49] Telling Pope Leo, okay, if you want to talk politics, if you want to talk about policy, let's talk about it. [00:34:53] But don't be a hypocrite about it. [00:34:56] Don't say that I'm a tyrant. [00:34:57] Don't say that I'm a king and say nothing about Iran's regime and the fact that if Tehran got a nuclear weapon, how devastating that would be. [00:35:03] I think there's an ally recalibration. [00:35:06] Uh, France, where were you? [00:35:08] NATO, where were you? [00:35:10] What have you done for me lately? [00:35:11] Absolutely nothing, you know? [00:35:13] So I think there's an ally recalibration. [00:35:15] And, and, and Spain, my gosh, I mean, Steve, Spain is done. [00:35:18] 500,000 immigrants getting, uh, uh, migrant status. [00:35:21] That's a joke. [00:35:21] And then I think a recalibration of South America, too. [00:35:24] You look at what happened with Venezuela and Maduro regime, putting pressure now on Colombia. [00:35:28] Uh, and then maybe a recalibration with energy, Steve. [00:35:31] The fact that we can be an exporter of energy. [00:35:33] Come get our good gas. [00:35:35] Come, come to us. [00:35:36] So that's, that's the word that's been kind of, Toying around in my head all day is recalibration of all these different pieces that are happening simultaneously. [00:35:44] That's honestly what I hope he talks about. [00:35:47] Bo, let me, on the theme of recalibration, which I think is brilliant, what about recalibration? [00:35:52] We're, you know, we're going to have some Virginia people on tonight. [00:35:55] We're going to have them tomorrow morning. [00:35:57] We're going to have Todd Blanch is going to join us. [00:36:00] He's speaking at NRA tonight about a whole new approach to the Second Amendment to make it even more ingrained into American law that they can't come and take your weapons. [00:36:09] Do you think there should be some mention, at least tonight, or some hint of when we push through this war? [00:36:15] And obviously, we're a ways away from bringing it, as people have told us in the chat or in the engine room. [00:36:22] You know, the Iranians are discounting some of the Iranian elements are discounting what the president's saying right now, even about Hormuz. [00:36:29] But do you think we need a recalibration to kind of go back and say, hey, look, the grassroots got you here, the core MAGA movement got you here. [00:36:37] We got to focus on deportations. [00:36:38] We have to focus on this Islamic invasion into the country. [00:36:42] President Trump went from hugging up on Mandami to last night, President Trump said he's destroying New York. [00:36:49] Do you think we need a recalibration? [00:36:52] MAGA, et cetera, to say, hey, look, we got to be battle hardened and focused on the midterm elections, sir. [00:37:00] I think that you do, and that you're very, very astute to bring that up because that's one recalibration I had not thought of, but I would say it's necessary. [00:37:08] And there's no better platform and stage to do it at than tonight, Steve, because now that this sort of element of peace is starting to come back, that gas prices will fall, that affordability is more in reach, I think it is time to recalibrate with the base, reignite them. [00:37:23] Get them excited. [00:37:23] That's what Charlie Kirk was all about. [00:37:25] That's what Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs are all about. [00:37:28] You have to ignite that flame again within MAGA. [00:37:31] And I think that a lot of people have been concerned about it. [00:37:33] Look at the fracturing in the conservative movement just over this war. [00:37:37] And you have the people out there, the Megyn Kellys, the Tucker Carlson's, the Nick Fuentes, all those people trying to divide this movement to the Democrats' glee, by the way. [00:37:44] So I think you're right to say that the president should absolutely harden up that base and say, we're on the same team. [00:37:51] Okay? [00:37:51] You might not have believed me at first. [00:37:53] You might have thought that I was short sighted in this, but look at what's happening. [00:37:57] I'm resetting Middle Eastern relations for the next 50 years. [00:38:01] Now let's refocus at home. [00:38:02] Let's get the deportations. [00:38:04] Let's go back to the rule of law and order. [00:38:06] Absolutely, Steve. [00:38:07] It's a very important point that you're making that he should absolutely recalibrate with the base. [00:38:26] People should remember that when the Gulf War was won, I think George Bush's approval rating, the original, you know, Daddy Bush, was at 92% or something like that. [00:38:36] And he lost later. [00:38:38] Of course, Ross Perot really drove that, but he only got 41%, I think, of the general election vote, or I think 39%. [00:38:46] But he lost the presidency. [00:38:48] One of the reasons he did not recalibrate back to domestic policy. [00:38:52] And I'm not disagreeing with Bo, but I don't think that Nick. [00:38:56] And Tucker and people went out to divide us. [00:38:59] I think they're very passionate about an aspect of this that they see about nationalism and our sovereignty versus globalism, obviously America's greatest ally, how they participate here, et cetera. [00:39:13] But if we are divided now, and let's be honest, we are divided, how do you think? [00:39:18] You've been around the White House a long time, you know Trump as well as anybody. [00:39:21] How do you think the president tries to recalibrate and even use tonight, at least part of it, as he talks about the war? [00:39:27] He talks about the Strait of Hormuz, he talks about the blockade. [00:39:30] How does he begin the process of recalibrating so we can get focused on winning? [00:39:39] That is a great question. [00:39:40] And I agree with you. [00:39:41] I think those individuals you mentioned not necessarily was meant to divide the party, but was to hold the party the America First agenda, the stuff, the campaign promises that had all these people elect them to stay to those, for President Trump to stay true to those promises. [00:39:58] I think that was the initial intent of all that. [00:40:01] And of course, a lot of it has gone off in directions I don't care to talk about right now. [00:40:05] But coming off of no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime, last. [00:40:11] Yesterday afternoon in Las Vegas. [00:40:13] I think that was the beginning of recalibrating this domestic message. [00:40:17] Now, I like to talk about recalibrating Arizona. [00:40:20] And, Steve, I remember going all across this great state in 2020, right after the election and all the election integrity hearings they had, all the discrepancies they had in this election. [00:40:30] I remember campaigning in 2020 for President Trump in this state. [00:40:34] And then I go fast forward to the midterms in 2022, rather with the gubernatorial race with Kerry Lake and Katie Hobbs. [00:40:41] I remember being on that. [00:40:42] and all the discrepancies that came out of that. [00:40:44] Remember covering that. [00:40:45] Fast forward to 2024, where President Trump took this state, not by much, and mind you, the worst political candidate probably in history for the Democrats was on the ballot and only won by a couple percentage points. [00:40:59] So this state is red, but it's not as red as it needs to be. [00:41:02] And I think tonight, endorsing and promoting the candidates that we've heard from so far today will help solidify the strength of the Republican Party in the United States. [00:41:12] To recalibrate it in Arizona, but I can't help but think this whole time I've heard Eli Crane, I've heard all these great Republicans speak. [00:41:20] Yet we hold the majority in the House. [00:41:22] We hold the majority in the Senate. [00:41:24] We have the executive branch. [00:41:26] Why can't we get shit done? [00:41:28] Why can't we do it, Steve? [00:41:29] And all these executive orders that President Trump has done, we haven't codified, but not even less than half of them into law. [00:41:37] So I hear the call about having brave and strong and courageous Republicans. [00:41:42] But if we get these Republicans into office and they don't work and they don't They don't succumb to the political industrial complex, then it's all for nothing, Steve. [00:41:51] It's all for nothing. [00:41:53] But let's recalibrate Arizona. [00:41:55] Let's strengthen this state and let's move forward. [00:41:58] Here we go. [00:43:09] And it's reminded me that every day when you wake up, you have a choice to spend your days focused on what's broken, or you can recognize our freedoms and fight to protect them. [00:44:29] In Canada, they'll tell you you're better off getting medically assisted suicide than believing in the sanctity of life. [00:44:37] While in America, we understand that a free life is worth living. [00:44:44] But there is nowhere else on earth, nowhere else on earth like the United States of America, there is not. [00:44:51] Powerful combination of freedom, the ability to live your life with your faith openly, and the chance to build a life nowhere else like it. === Roaring Action to Win (14:53) === [00:45:01] And nowhere else I would want to be, and I'm sure you guys feel the same exact way. [00:45:10] But that didn't just happen by accident. [00:45:12] It happened because generations have fought and sacrificed everything for it. [00:45:53] He said, If you can secure Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire, and you're investing into these states and not just into these races, he said, Their maps will collapse and their strategies will fail. [00:46:05] And it inspired us to no end. [00:46:09] Totally inspired us. [00:46:13] But we don't get to just sit back. [00:46:15] And admire that win from 2024. [00:46:18] We have to fight to protect it. [00:46:21] Every day, that's right. [00:46:23] Every day. [00:46:24] And Arizona is home for me. [00:46:26] I was raised here. [00:46:27] I fell in love here. [00:46:30] I got married here. [00:46:31] We're raising our children here. [00:47:54] You remember when we had Christian pro life activists being persecuted for their beliefs? [00:48:05] We're getting targeted by federal law enforcement just for showing up at their school board meetings. [00:48:12] Remember Lake and Riley? [00:48:15] I do. [00:48:17] Remember wide open borders? [00:48:20] Half a million people poured into this state alone thanks to an administration that didn't care about stopping them. [00:48:28] And now, 452 days into the Trump administration, look at what has already been done. [00:48:35] Look at it. [00:48:37] There are accomplishments. [00:48:41] And yes, there is more to be done, but my husband and all of you fought for this, and we achieved it. [00:48:49] Thanks. [00:48:55] And now we have to show up again with 80 to 90% voter turnout in the midterms and fortify the red wall for the next decade. [00:49:05] That's what we need to do. [00:49:14] But at the same time, you have people out there who are actively trying to tear this country apart. [00:49:24] They love to start fights, dividing us all against each other, spreading negativity, all to get clicks and influence the algorithm to maximize profits. [00:49:41] Meanwhile, building is hard. [00:49:45] Getting out the vote, talking to real people, spiritual revival, that's actual work. [00:49:54] That is actual work. [00:49:57] And my husband Charlie gave his life for that work. [00:50:01] And what gets built lasts for generations long after the noise has run out of one liners. [00:50:14] No one understands this better than President Trump. [00:50:17] No one. [00:50:18] No matter what they throw at him, he perseveres in the face of adversity because the mission is too important. [00:59:10] Now, think of that counties. [00:59:12] To me, that's the biggest of all, most important of all. [00:59:16] 86% of all counties in America, 2,700 to 525. [00:59:22] That's called a landslide. [00:59:24] And I want to thank everybody at Turning Point Action who's working tirelessly to help us get out the vote.
