Stephen K. Bannon and John Solomon frame the SAVE ACT debate as a critical defense against alleged Chinese voter database hacks and Democratic suppression tactics like photo ID bans. They highlight Senator Thune's speech supporting restrictions on minors' gender transitions and men in women's sports, while criticizing the Trump administration's slow response to intelligence disclosures compared to British reactions. The segment also covers Operation Epic Fury's success against Iran, St. Patrick's Day diplomatic plans, and a strategy to force Democrats to defend opposing majority views on election integrity and social issues. Ultimately, the narrative positions these legislative battles as existential necessities for American sovereignty. [Automatically generated summary]
It's Tuesday, 17th, March, Year of the Lord, 2026.
It's St. Patrick's Day.
We are very packed today, and we're going to be covering some live events that we're going to have to cut into.
John Thune, the leader of the Senate, is supposed to take the floor in the Senate in a moment and lay out the process of which we're going to get to a vote on the Save America Act, whether that is through a standing filibuster or not.
In two weeks in Operation Epic Fury, the dominant narrative has settled into a comfortable groove.
The United States and Israel stumbled into a war without a plan.
Iran's retaliating across the region.
Oil prices are surging, and the world is facing another Middle Eastern quagmire.
U.S. senators have called it a blunder.
Cable news has tallied the crises.
Commentators have warned of a long war.
The chorus is loud and in some respects understandable.
But this narrative is wrong, not because the costs are imaginary, but because the critics are measuring the wrong things.
They are cataloging the price of the campaign while ignoring the strategic ledger.
When you look at what's actually happened to Iran's principal instruments of power, its ballistic missile arsenal, its nuclear infrastructure, its air defenses, its Navy and proxy command architecture, the picture is not one of U.S. failure.
It is one of systematic phased degradation of a threat that previous administrations allowed to grow for four decades.
Why do I wind up with that very long pitch?
Because everything he says is right.
Militarily, this has been extraordinary success.
But as with Vietnam, as with Iraq, and now, well, as with Afghanistan, here we are in Iran.
And again, militarily, nearly perfect.
It's extraordinary what our men and women in uniform are doing and what their leaders are doing.
And yet here we find ourselves again in a situation where we could actually win every single battle and still lose the war.
And that, Jonathan, is what the White House is grappling with.
Leader John Thun is set to kick off debate on the voter reform bill known as the Save America Act as soon as today.
Thun is expected to begin the process with a vote that requires a simple majority just to open the debate.
At least one Republican, though, Senator Tom Tillis of North Carolina, is planning to oppose even this move.
But Thuon will likely have the votes to go forward.
The bill will likely fail due to bipartisan opposition and the GOP's desire to protect the filibuster.
But that's not stopping President Trump's allies who say they're bracing for long hours to build momentum for the bill.
Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah tells the Hill, the president wants to see Republicans go all out and is envisioning an epic floor fight, similar to the two-month battle that preceded the Senate's passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
The process is projected to last some seven to ten days, though it could extend further due to amendment disputes and procedural delays.
Australia, we won't be sending a ship to the Strait of Hormuz.
Germany, it is not NATO's war.
Diplomacy needs to prevail, that from Italy.
Can you talk about the way they have responded, especially since the perception was due to the leverage with tariffs, Trump had a lot of control and leverage?
Well, a lot of that has gone away, first and foremost.
But the biggest part is, I mean, you don't ask for help after the fact.
I mean, the biggest difference between the coalition of the willing is that, yes, there was an attack, obviously, but President Bush and the Bush administration built this coalition and really for more than a year.
Now, this is something that the Trump administration did with Israel's help.
And then after the fact, now we're three weeks on, is suddenly asking for help.
I actually spoke to some media last night, and I indicated that I believe that what these 2,500 Marines of the Marine Expeditionary Force would be would be this probably secure the island.
The island is not, in my opinion, boots on the ground in combat circumstances.
But what I would say is the president has chosen not to obliterate the ability to get oil.
And I think he wants to go secure that to make sure the Iranians don't do themselves then.
So I think it's probably wisdom.
Is that boots on the ground?
No, not like inside Iran where they're in the cities, where we go through circumstances that we've had in the past of large areas of population, combatants against us, and it is a mess.
I am against what I call the mess, moving people, Marines, snipers into population areas.
But now many on the left, some on the right, are in full panic mode over what is a historic miracle unfolding before our eyes known as Operation Epic Fury, which brings us to another fundamental question.
Are these Trump haters really willing to risk a nuclear-armed Iran?
That is the defining question, not really a debatable question.
You either want a nuclear-armed Iran, you're comfortable leaving your children and grandchildren with such, or you're not.
Are they comfortable with the world's number one state sponsor of terrorism that says death to Israel, death to America, that, according to them, telling Steve Wickoff, are in possession of 460 kilograms of enriched uranium?
Right now, that's 60% enrichment.
Seven to 10 days, guess what?
That's enough for 11 nuclear bombs in a very short period of time.
So are these Trump derangement syndrome patients really willing to put their lives and their children and their grandchildren in a hostage position and let a regime that chants death to America have these weapons that could kill millions when America now has the chance to avoid what happened in the last century, a potential modern day holocaust?
Have we learned nothing from history?
Make no mistake.
Isolationists, leftists want to treat America as we can live in a little bubble.
They are living in a fantasy world and are actively smearing a president that even in some cases they claim to have once supported intermittently.
In reality, they are just isolating themselves politically while the real world has moved on without them.
Thankfully, this has been the most successful military campaign in history.
What they've done is to say every registered voter is going to have to go in person to re-register with either a passport or passport card or a certified birth certificate, all of which, if people don't have them, cost significant amounts of money.
That is a textbook definition of a poll tax that was outlawed by the Constitution, the 24th Amendment in 1964, and for state and local by the Supreme Court two years later.
But even worse than that is they would require every state to give its sensitive voter data to the Department of Homeland Security, which would use it to require states to purge voters from a program created by Doge using the Social Security data that they stole, which happens to be inaccurate and biased.
So this is not a voter ID bill.
This is a voter suppression bill.
They're going to try and reframe it any way they can.
We're waiting for Senator Thune to take the floor.
We're going to take our normal commercial breaks unless he takes it, and then we'll jump out of the commercial break.
John Solomon broke a huge story this morning or last night.
We're going to have John Solomon on about the Chinese Communist Party.
Yes, the Chinese Communist Party involved in our election system.
The intelligence is out there.
John Solomon's going to break it down all for us.
We'll have John on.
Jenny Beth Martin is with us this morning.
Cleeda this afternoon is going to break down exactly what we can anticipate for John Thune and really Mike Lee taking over the floor of the Senate, taking control of it and putting us into a historic debate about what President Trump has said is the most important piece of legislation that's come up in his second term, and he will not let anything else go forward until it is fully debated by the Senate.
And he said passed.
So we'll see about that.
That needs the talking filibuster.
We're going to see if this is going to be performative for 24 or 48 hours or it's going to be the real deal.
All of that is to come.
Plus breaking news on a federal judge rule against what Bobby Kennedy's been doing with the vaccines.
Although we are starting to get rid of, because of President Trump and other people, taking a hard line, 200,000 illegal alien drivers or foreign drivers having their licenses revoked.
All of that this morning of the war.
And plus, the Prime Minister of Ireland is going to be in the Oval Office for a bylaw.
We're juggling a lot of live breaking news today, plus the war and everything else.
Democrats stopped the Senate from proceeding to consideration of this legislation.
Mr. President, for weeks, Democrats have spoken about the urgent need for reforms to immigration enforcement.
But it's been Democrats who have been the biggest obstacle to getting those reforms enacted.
The Trump administration took a number of steps on its own, I might add, to reform immigration enforcement.
And on top of that, the White House made two substantial and serious offers to Democrats to legislate reforms, the most recent of which was sent more than two weeks ago.
The Democrats couldn't even be bothered to respond to the White House's latest offer until late last night.
18 days, Mr. President.
18 days for Democrats to even bother replying.
And that offer, Democrats' third, was basically the same as their first two offers.
No compromise and still filled with a number of non-starters that would make it more dangerous for law enforcement officers to do their jobs.
Meanwhile, on the Senate floor, The best Democrats have been able to offer is funding some DHS agencies and leaving others unfunded.
It's really pretty remarkable, Mr. President.
Last summer, Democrats threw a fit over Republicans' rescissions package that cut just $9 billion in federal spending.
A fraction of a fraction of a percent of the entire federal budget.
Now to hear Democrats talk, they seem to think that entire agencies, especially the agencies that secure our border and force immigration laws, are dispensable.
The Democrat leader had the audacity to call this a moderate plan last week.
Mr. President, when did defunding law enforcement become a mainstream position in this country?
Now this might be considered moderate for Democrats, but I think the average American would view it as extreme.
Mr. President, we are now a month into Democrats' second shutdown since October.
And like their record-long shutdown in the fall, the victims of this shutdown are beginning to pile up.
TSA agents are working without pay.
A significant number of agents are calling out sick, leading to long wait times and lines stretching into airport parking garages.
CBS reports that 300 TSA agents have quit since this shutdown began.
And that's on top of the 1,100 agents who quit after Democrats shut down in the fall.
And it's pretty darn understandable if you think about it.
What do you do when, for two out of the last six months, you have to work without pay?
Well, that's what Democrats have put these people through.
So it's more than understandable that they might be thinking that there's got to be an easier way to earn a living.
I heard from one TSA agent in South Dakota who was at the end of her rope.
She writes, and I quote, it is very hard to live without getting paid.
I do not know how long I can keep doing this, end quote.
Well, that's what happens, Mr. President, in a shutdown.
Real people get hurt.
But if you ask the senior senator from the Democrat, a member of the Democrat leadership, he says, and I quote, we are very serene with what is going on, end quote.
Very serene, Mr. President.
I suppose that's not a surprising statement considering the Democrat leader characterized Democrats' last shutdown in the fall by saying, and I quote, every day gets better for us, end quote.
Very serene.
Every day gets better for us.
For Democrats, a government shutdown is just fine as long as it seems to be working for them politically, no matter whether it's hurting hardworking Americans, no matter if it's jeopardizing public safety and national security.
And Mr. President, make no mistake, Democrats' shutdown is harming hardworking Americans and putting national security in jeopardy.
Our country is facing a heightened threat environment right now.
Here are a few examples of that.
Stryker, a medical tech company, was the victim of an Iran-linked cyber attack last week.
ISIS-inspired individuals attempted to detonate bombs targeting protesters outside the home of the mayor of New York City last weekend.
And on Thursday, we saw two tragic attacks take place.
One of those in Virginia was perpetrated by an individual who was arrested in 2016 for attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
The other, an attack on a Detroit area synagogue was perpetrated by an individual who is reported to have had connections to known or suspected Hezbollah terrorists.
Mr. President, this is no time for Democrats' political games.
Republicans are at the table and ready to work whenever Democrats are done playing.
Mr. President, today we are kicking off an extended debate on the Save America Act, a package of common sense measures united around two themes, protecting our elections and protecting our youth.
You're going to hear me use the adjective common sense a lot in this debate, Mr. President, because if there's any word that is suitable to describe the measures we're considering, it's that.
Mr. President, if there's anything essential to the integrity of elections, it's ensuring that those who are registered to vote are eligible to vote, and that those who show up to vote at polling places are those who they say they are.
And how do you do that?
Well, by requiring that Americans show proof of citizenship when they register to vote and that they show photo ID at polling places.
That's what the Save America Act would do.
It's just common sense.
And polls show that the American people overwhelmingly agree.
But to hear Democrats talk, you'd think that demonstrating citizenship or showing a photo ID is an intolerable burden.
And yet, Mr. President, I haven't heard Democrats complaining about the thousand other circumstances in which we require photo ID in this country.
Democrats are aware that Americans have to show photo ID to get on a plane, right?
And to start a new job.
And when they head to the doctor's office, and to rent a car and to stay in a hotel.
Heck, if you want to get a library card, you have to show a photo ID.
The Democrats remember their 2024 convention when attendees had to show a photo ID to get in.
The senior Democrat senator from Georgia required photo ID to get into his recent rally.
Mr. President, did Democrats hear themselves?
Are they going to start boycotting libraries and airplanes and hotels for requiring a photo ID?
Are they going to explain why they're perfectly justified in requiring photo ID for their political rallies why it's somehow an intolerable burden to ask people to show their photo ID when they go to vote?
I expect they won't.
They'll simply continue with their mindless, partisan opposition to common sense ID requirements for federal elections.
But let's hit pause on that topic for a minute and go to another issue where Common Sense and the Democrat Party have parted ways.
And that's on the subject of transgender ideology.
In their haste to embrace medical transgender ideology, Democrats have put themselves in the absurd position of supporting the hijacking of women in girls' sports by biological males.
Yep, that's right.
The party that would portray itself as a defender of women has put itself on the record as willing to sacrifice women's athletic opportunities for the sake of biological males.
Now, Mr. President, no one should need an explanation of what the presence of biological males in women's sports costs women.
At the most basic level, women are losing out on a slot on the team.
Every roster place that goes to a male is a roster place that doesn't go to a female.
And for women who are on the roster, well, the presence of a biological male can and frequently does rob them of opportunities to excel.
Biologically, men possess physical advantages when it comes to sports, things like greater muscle mass and greater aerobic power, which means that by and large, men are likely to dominate in women's sports, taking wins and medal opportunities away from women.
In August 2024, in an August 2024 United Nations report on violence against women and girls, they had this to say about the results of men participating in women's sports.
And I quote: according to information received, by March 30th, 2024, over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions had lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports, end quote.
Over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 800 medals in 29 different sports.
The Save America Act would ensure that men are not allowed to hijack women's sporting opportunities.
And yet, once again, we expect my Democrat colleagues to oppose keeping women's sports for women.
Mr. President, the idea that a female high school athlete might lose out on a college scholarship because her achievements were overshadowed by those of a biological male on her team is bad enough.
But an even more dangerous consequence of the embrace of transgender ideology is that children who have become victims of irreversible gender transition procedures, and when I say children, I mean children, Mr. President.
Young men and women who are not old enough to vote, who are years away from being able to legally drink, who still need parental permission to take medicine at school.
The New York Times reports, and I quote, a review of hospital data from 2016 through 2020 identified about 3,600 patients aged 12 to 18 who had received gender-related surgery, end quote.
Age 12 to 18.
Can you imagine that, Mr. President?
Can you imagine allowing a child not yet out of middle school to receive a medical procedure that will result in permanent mutilation of part of her body?
This madness has to end.
Multiple European countries have acted to rein in gender transition procedures for minors, and so have a number of U.S. states.
The Save America Act would extend protection from these procedures to all children, whatever state they live in.
Common sense measures, Mr. President, require proof of citizenship to register to vote, require a photo ID at the polls, protect women's sports from being hijacked by biological males, and protect teenagers from life-altering, irreversible gender transition procedures.
Measures, I might add again, Mr. President, supported by a majority of Americans.
And measures we expect my Democrat colleagues to oppose.
It's unfortunate that common sense is not very common anymore in the Democrat Party.
Mr. President, I yield the floor and I suggest the absolute quorum.
Okay, we're going to get back to this as soon as we get some additional action.
Let's go ahead.
John Solomon's with us.
Is John still up?
John Solomon joins us.
John, on top of all this, you've got really blockbuster news coming out of your investigation and the intelligence, your investigative reporting on the intelligence investigation, what the intelligence apparatus knows about foreign interference in our elections.
Yeah, it's directly related to what John Thune just talked about.
And as he talked about the Democratic Party not having common sense anymore.
It's just not that common in the Democratic Party.
They like to mutilate women.
They like to prevent you from having voter ID when you go to the polls.
The reason to have voter ID is to thwart potential malintended threats to our elections, such as fake absentee ballots, which is what the FBI ultimately concluded in 2020, that China was likely doing when it sent a bunch of driver's licenses to the United States in December 2020 with the goal that they would become absentee ballots in fake names to help Joe Biden win.
That is what the FBI documents we made public last June show.
We now know that the intelligence community not only kept that plot from the American people, not only in 2020, but in 2022 and in 2024, quite frankly, they're keeping it from the 100 senators that will be debating the SAVE Act in the next few days.
They also kept the fact that China accessed, penetrated the voter registration databases of America.
And I want to remind everybody, these are the databases where you have your driver's license number, your social security number, other key personal identifying information that allows you to vote and to be identified as a legitimate voter.
It's so sensitive that the Democrats currently say we shouldn't even share it with the Justice Department.
But the intelligence community decided to keep secret from the American people, from the Congress, the fact that China accessed multiple states' voter registration databases in 2020.
Now, remember, people like Chris Krabs said no foreign interventions in the election.
The FBI director at the time, Chris Ray, said we didn't have any problems.
We were on top of everything.
It turns out that there were major breaches of the state voter registration data that China directly committed, and it was kept from us.
Now, in England, similar revelations came out in 2024.
The Biden administration, in fact, was alarmed and said they were angry.
They even indicted some Chinese hackers when Great Britain revealed its voter databases were breached and hacked in 2021.
Now, they revealed that in 24, three years later.
When the Biden administration, when the U.S. intelligence committee expressed outrage at Great Britain, they knew our voter registration data was breached, that it had been accessed by China, that it was being used for public opinion measurement and possibly other malfeasas.
To keep that for the American people from six years, to keep it from the senators who are about to vote on this bill is a real disservice to the American public.
So we were able to get these declassified documents.
Ironically, some of them are declassified by the Biden administration.
I got more help from the Biden administration right now than the Trump administration.
Now, I hope that changes.
It does look like CIA Director Ratcliffe, DNI, Tulsi Gabbert, are in the process of declassifying some documents.
There are scores of raw intelligence reports that show Chinese meddling in the American election.
And there's one report raising concern that Ukraine was engaged in a plot to do something bad in the 2024 election to help Joe Biden.
I want to repeat that.
There is intercepted intelligence that the Trump administration has had for many, many months, in which it is suggested by Ukrainian officials that they're going to try to help Joe Biden win the election using American taxpayer money.
We're going to get to that in the next several days.
We have been working on that.
But in the meantime, the China stuff is irrefutable.
The documents are sitting in the public.
The CIA director's chief spokeswoman confirmed that he is going to release more information just showing how bad these breaches were.
If it was bad enough to be outraged in Great Britain, it should be bad enough for Americans to be outraged that it happened.
And two, that we were kept from it for the last six years.
And then two, the whole process of suppressing this cover-up, et cetera.
Is this tied somehow?
Didn't we have, we had a federal grand jury that tried to get into this, right, by certain indictments.
And Catherine Engelberg and Greg Phillips, isn't this one of the reasons she went to prison or she was put in jail for that summer down in Texas?
I mean, people have been around this and saying this is happening.
And the government never, but the government never actually aggressively, I think it was Conrac or whatever.
They never really, and they knew that this information was kept on servers back in mainland China under the under the cover of the Chinese Communist Party, right?
Why didn't the government really get to the bottom of this?
Liberal prosecutors in liberal LA brought this case.
It ultimately was dropped under pressure from the Biden administration, but there was concerns that a California company was conspiring with China to do bad things in the 2020 election.
What we're talking about is a much larger operation, China penetrating different places where they could get access through cyber intrusions, cyber activity, access to the personally identifying information of American voters and then use it or be in a position to use it to influence the election.
Now, there is some dispute in the election.
There's some dispute in the intelligence committee about how much China did in 2020, but there is zero dispute.
It is undisputed from the documents I've been shown that I've seen and from the people I interviewed.
I even interviewed a whistleblower on the record yesterday, Christopher Porter, who talks about exactly what the intelligence committee knew.
It was unanimously believed by the U.S. Intelligence Committee that China hacked into our and accessed voter data information, just like what created a national crisis and scandal in Great Britain just two years ago.
But in America, we've had crickets.
We've had crickets from the White House.
We've had crickets from the intelligence community.
There are most members of the United States Senate that I interviewed in the last couple of days had no idea these documents existed, that these concerns were unanimously understood to be a problem by the U.S. Intelligence Committee.
Everybody's been kept in the dark.
I think there's an extraordinary opportunity for President Trump, his intelligence team, starting today with the oversight hearings that they're going to have with the intelligence leaders to brief and educate the senators who are in this debate right now about what China did.
And by the way, how voter ID and citizenship checks could prevent future use of this data from being misused.
John, I'm going to get to the whole overall for China in a second.
I want to go back, though, because this is the way people lose faith, even in a Trump administration.
Wasn't it Krebs?
I mean, over and over and over again, we had our nose rubbed in.
This was the safest, most secure election by political appointees of the then president.
So how are people supposed to sit here and go, I don't understand how this can happen.
And Biden, and the cover of Biden's bad enough, but you had people sit there and talk about the 2020 election.
People in charge of cyber at the highest levels of DHS would go on TV and brief the president and then go on TV and say the most secure.
And our nose has been rubbed in that by Rachel Maddow now for five, six years.
How could that have happened?
Are you telling me Krebs and Wolf and the highest people at DNI and CIA and DHS and FBI knew this happened, had these facts as they're being presented today and looked people in the eye and lied to the president of the United States and then went on camera and doubled down on that lie?
There are great questions to be figured out when each component in the United States intelligence community concluded that China had breached these databases.
But by all the reporting I've done, it was widely understood by the Homeland Security Department, which employed Chris Krebs, the FBI, which employed Chris Ray, the CIA, which employed Gina Haspel, and the DNI, which was in transition at that time.
Eventually, the future CIA director, John Ratcliffe, got in charge of that.
That by April, there was consensus in the U.S. Intelligence Committee that China had breached these documents.
In May of 2020, the United States government learned that Iran, another bad actor, had hacked into a single state's database and stole 100 American voter identity, 100,000, excuse me, 100,000 American voter identities.
All of that was kept.
When they made those statements in December 2020, that information was known by U.S. federal agencies.
There were sealed indictments.
There was multiple briefings, scores of raw intelligence reports, two or three completed products, intelligence products, where the committee writes a whole report on it confirming that these things happened.
And you have to ask yourself who knew what when when they made those comments in December.
And I think that is a great opportunity for the House Intelligence Committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee, the President's Intelligence Advisory Board to go back and find out which officials lied to us, which officials looked in the camera and knew what they were saying wasn't true.
But more importantly, right now, at this moment, there are 100 senators still flying blind beyond what I put into the public domain in the last 24 hours, which are reports declassified.
They clearly state China gained access to this voter data.
Most senators don't know.
Most members of Congress don't know.
Most former cabinet secretaries from Trump won don't know.
And tomorrow, we're going to put some pretty explosive documents out again, Steve.
And what we're going to show people is what the intelligence ombudsman, the person who's supposed to watch the intelligence community on behalf of the American public, what that person concluded, why China intelligence, intelligence about China doing bad things in the 2020 election, why it was suppressed from the American people.
When you see what he concluded, you're going to be angry.
The people around Donald Trump, the people who are supposed to serve that president, the man the American people elected, were trying to keep from him information he could potentially use to raise concerns about China.
They kept a president in the dark and they kept an American public and a Congress in the dark because they had a political agenda of not letting Donald Trump score points on China.
That's what you're going to see tomorrow, the documents we make public tomorrow.
As damning as that is, because this is not done in isolation, these are inextricably linked.
Let's go back in time.
Why the Chinese Communist Party?
Why were they focused on mail-in ballots?
Why were we doing this?
Because of the pandemic.
And John, you know, through your reporting in the Wuhan lab and Fauci and everything about gain of function and all that.
They're inextricably linked.
The Chinese Communist Party is at war with us.
They're at war with us with a biological hit because they couldn't stop Trump.
Trump and that.
And remember, in the fall of 19, the economy was hitting on all cylinders.
You had virtually zero inflation.
You had almost zero, you know, the interest rates were low.
You had blue-collar workers with higher wage growth than white-collar workers, non-college graduates higher than college graduates.
It was the perfect merger.
And the Chinese had torn up in May of 2019.
They had torn the Lighthizer deal, which actually put them in the World Economic, tore it up in our face and spit in our face, said, We're not going to do that.
The Wuhan lab and this scandal on the ballots, on the intrusion into the election, are of the same piece.
And it shows you the willful blindness.
People don't get off the hook on this thing.
This is the willful blindness of the Chinese Communist Party, unrestricted warfare against the first off, highly focused on Donald Trump to make sure he was removed from office, right?
And they were trying to use it through the electoral system, but they were doing anything possible.
I don't see how this is the deep state.
I mean, you don't need to talk about it theoretically anymore.
It's 14 hours since I put these documents into the public realm.
They're irrefutable.
There is irrefutable proof that China accessed the voter registration data of Americans in 2020.
Now, within six hours of that revelation coming forward in 2024 in Great Britain, there was a national crisis.
The equivalent of the White House, 10 Downing Street, the national security apparatus of Great Britain was in enormous alarm.
And they created a national solution to this, including election integrity improvements, punishments for China.
The Biden administration joined in trying to punish China in punishing some of the Chinese hackers involved in that.
We're 14 hours into the same revelation, the same MO as China.
There hasn't been a White House briefing.
There hasn't been a peep out of the Director of National Intelligence.
There hasn't been anything said by the people who possess this evidence.
The difference in how Great Britain, which by the way, isn't a model for a lot of things right now, and how we're reacting to it now is part of the reason.
The current people around the president have the opportunity to make this what it should be: a moment of alarm for the American people, a moment of alarm for Congress.
They should be educating folks.
There have been crickets on this.
You can't complain about the deep state if after the deep state's been foiled and the information is now public, you don't do the responsible thing that this information requires be done.
And I think you have to ask yourself: where's the communication strategy today?
Where is the briefings that those senators could have?
Where's the rest of the documents?
Now, John, to his credit, John Ratcliffe told me yesterday in a statement from his press secretary, he's going to declassify everything.
That's great.
But where is the movement today?
Great Britain jumped on this within hours.
We're now going to be a day or two into it.
And there's been nothing but a yawn from the people around the president for exactly the same allegations, the same concerns that created a national crisis in Great Britain.
The deep state only succeeds when Republicans lay down and don't take advantage of the disclosures and the concerns that we now have exposed for the American people.
So you can't blame the deep state now.
The Trump White House, the Trump National Security apparatus, knows what happened.
Do they have the courage to step in the void, or are they going to play the rope-doke game like they did for two and a half years of Russia collusion?
When every day, Sarah Carter and I would go out and show that Russia collusion was bogus and the Trump White House one would act like victims against this deep state.
He was having conversations two weeks ago about giving hypersonic missiles to Iran.
He doesn't seem like a guy that's worried about offense.
And by the way, the president I know, President Donald Trump, doesn't care about Xi's feelings.
He cares about protecting these elections for future generations.
So I don't understand the lack of engagement.
I could find a million excuses not to do this.
Republicans are good at finding excuses and not acting in the interest of the American people.
This is one time, an 80-85% issue, where the Republicans have all the win behind their back.
The only question is, will they ride that win or will they fold their cards like they've done many times and allow the deep state to win in a default match?
You're going to see the CCP lobby in all its glory.
Got to get a trade deal, got to have a state visit.
No, you do not.
This is evidence the pandemic and this, and they're all inextricably linked because they used the mail-in ballots understanding what they had done in the pandemic.
It's clear as you could possibly be.
We're either going to take the Chinese Communist Party on as an enemy, an existential threat, or you're going to play along.
John, what you're going to do in the next couple of days is make it harder for people to run away from this because now the receipts, you're putting out the receipts, and that's what we've needed for years.
I mean, if you don't follow this and you don't put this up, then you're not going to have a country anymore.
Very simple.
I'm not so sure you can actually say, we got one today with the.
We sell it.
We sell America to the highest bidder.
Is what we're doing?
Um, let's go to the floor and Barrazzo, who's really the right-hand man of Thun, is a target rally for a Democrat and he doesn't want you to have to show one to vote.
I guess he doesn't want illegal immigrants at his rallies, but it's okay if they vote for him.
It's astonishing.
Why did Democrats support showing a photo idea to attend a political rally and oppose it to vote in an election?
Look, what's clear to all of us is that Democrats oppose elections that limit participations to just American citizens.
They don't like that idea and they're likely to line up one after another today to vote to say nope, don't check the idea of a photo with a photo on it in order to vote, because we want to cram as many people as we can with their ballots into the ballot box to be counted, no matter where they're from.
Democrats said the same thing after the state of Georgia enacted voter ID laws in 2021.
What were the results?
Well, more people actually voted, not fewer.
Turnout hit record letters.
The lines move faster than ever before.
The Democrats say it was an impediment.
Voter ID is important.
Democrats' voter suppression lies have been thoroughly debunked time and time again, yet they continue to repeat them.
Voter ID and citizenship proof are safeguards for our elections.
They are not restrictions.
The Save America Act is how we make elections safe, secure and a true reflection of the American people.
Every American should desire that American elections be decided by American citizens.
Who wouldn't well somebody that wants to load up the ballots with people who may vote for them, whether they're citizens or not?
Every member of the Senate should support the Save America Act by opposing this bill.
Mr. President, Democrats are once again putting illegal immigrants ahead of American voters, and Republicans are going to make sure that every voter in America and every citizen voter in America knows which side of that issue.
People stand on photo ID and citizenship or not.
The Republicans are here to say it's important that only citizens vote and people prove who they are by showing a photo ID when they go to the ballot box.
We're gonna do is that the host during the shows throughout the day, the Charlie Kirk show, the Jack Pesovic show, Steve Gruber, Eric Bowling, BACK TO WAR ROOM, then to John Solomon, IN AND OUT.
We're gonna be following directly this debate.
However, we're also gonna be streaming all of it on our, you know, we can split the stream.
So the other stream will be covering it nonstop.
And obviously we'll be doing that at the War Room on our Getter and Rumble and all that Grace and Mo on top of it.
Jenny, I got McCabe and Jenny Beth Martin.
Like I said, we've got a lot to cram into today, and we're juggling a lot of balls.
The Irish Prime Minister is going to show up momentarily to the White House.
We'll be covering that too, the bylaw.
It is St. Patrick's Day.
It's very traditional.
Jenny Beth Martin, your assessment of where do we stand now?
Are we going to go through a whole Republican roll call?
My understanding is it, look, I have a rudimentary understanding of the Senate rules, but are we going to actually force the Democrats, smoke them out, and have them try to defend this, ma'am?
We need to make sure that we are smoking the Democrats out.
Right now, the Republicans intend to have this prolonged debate.
And I appreciate that the Senate Majority Leader, Thune, is actually doing this.
He's not just doing some sort of quick cloture to sweep it under the rug and say that he voted and that's it.
He is having a real debate.
He wants to talk about the issues.
Let the Democrats go defend why they want not to ensure that only American citizens are voting in American elections.
Let the Democrats explain why they don't think that voters should ensure that they have photo ID when they vote and prove they are who they say they are when they vote.
Let the Democrats explain why they think it's necessary to have so many mail-in ballots all over the country the way that we did in 2020, which gives opportunity for more mistakes and opportunity for fraud.
And then let them explain why it's okay to have men in women's sports.
Why do the Democrats want it to be okay for children to be mutilated and made infertile for the rest of their lives when they're not old enough to give informed consent?
That is absolutely, that is wrong.
The American people don't want any of those things that the Democrats are doing.
They want to ensure American citizens can vote.
They want to ensure we show photo ID, reduce the number of mail-in ballots so that we ensure that we have less opportunity for fraud and mistakes in our election.
Men should not be in women's sports.
And absolutely, we need to be doing all we can to save American children.
So the Senate Republicans are out there.
They are doing what we have asked them to do for weeks, not even just weeks, months and months and months.
And now it is our turn as activists to get up and thank the Republicans for doing the right thing, tell them to stay strong and keep debating, and then call the Democrats and call them out on this nonsense.
They should not be standing against what the majority of Americans want in this country.
And the majority of Americans want only citizens voting in our elections.
They want to show proof of citizen.
They want to show proof of citizenship when they register to vote.
Voter ID.
We just did polling on this.
The majority of Americans want that part of the Save America bill to pass.
And now with these new provisions, I was looking at polling recently.
And the majority of Americans also want no men in women's sports and they want no transgender surgery on children.
It's pretty simple.
Just do what the American people want.
Democrats, you don't only represent your base.
You represent all of your constituency.
And the majority of your constituency wants these common sense things to happen.
I'm sure President Trump will invite the media in for this.
And I'm sure President Trump will have some comments.
A lot going on overnight in the war.
Believe the secular leader, the guy who's really in charge of Iran that went to the streets and gave the threats to the President of the United States.
Pretty sure that it's been confirmed by the military and the Israeli intelligence.
Looks like he may have been killed in a strike last night.
A lot going on.
The nation's our great allies in NATO telling Trump, yeah, I don't know.
This Iran thing's not really our deal.
Keeping the Red Sea open, the Suez Canal, Straits of Hormuz, that's not really NATO's problem.
They said it up in your grill, not our problem.
If we pulled the entire United States Navy out and said, hey guys, you deal with it.
would not impact the United States of America barely at all.
Don't let people say, oh, you got to keep Suez open.
You've got to keep the Straits of Hormuz open.
That's a European and Asian problem.
Now, the United States Navy keeps the sea open, but it's outrageous what the Allies have told us.
Just say it's your deal.
You deal with it.
We'll get into all of that.
Hopefully President Trump will mention that.
Dr. Thayer's going to be with us.
