Why We Stand Together 00:15:13
geert wilders
Islamic jihadis are plotting against you.
steve bannon
Why in the hell you think they're in Houston and in the north of Dallas?
glenn beck
They are working together to overthrow Western civilization.
unidentified
Sharia compounds, which are areas governed by religious rules.
steve bannon
We know who you are, we know what you are, and we know what you're trying to accomplish.
And it is not going to happen in the jewel of the crown of the union of this republic.
greg abbot
We purge any attempt to impose Sharia law in Texas.
frank gaffney
They are not coming.
ben bergquam
They are already here.
steve bannon
You are not here properly, and you're going to leave.
On the 3rd of March, Sharia law goes on the ballot in the state of Texas.
keith self
The United States Constitution and Sharia are fundamentally at odds with one another.
steve bannon
We're going to tell them, take your Sharia law and shove it.
unidentified
Islam will never dominate the United States.
And by the grace of God, it will not dominate Texas.
steve bannon
As Texas goes, so goes the nation.
As the nation goes, so goes the world.
Are you prepared to fight for this state?
Are you prepared to fight for your country?
unidentified
War Room, Texas.
Your host, Stephen K. Bannon, starts right now.
cleo paskal
So there's been reporting in the Times, the UK Times, that one of the reasons for President Trump coming out so clearly and strongly yesterday is that the UK has, as the headline says, been blocking Trump from using Royal Air Force bases for strikes on Iran, especially there's the key base, RAF Fairford, which is where the U.S. heavy bombers for all of Europe are stationed.
There's quite a few of them there.
And apparently they've been using legal arguments to say that a strike on Iran would not necessarily be legal, and so they're not going to let the U.S. use the bases.
And this legal argument is something that they've brought up before with not supporting the strikes on the drug boats as well.
So this raises a whole bunch of questions, some of which we started with yesterday about where the UK stands in terms of an ally and if it's really a five eyes quality partner.
steve bannon
Cleo, closing thoughts, UK.
I think President Trump's next stop is to say, hey, look, we're just going to take Deer Garcia.
We can't trust you guys.
They're actually deporting some of the good guys.
They won't deport any of the Imams in London.
They won't deport the 20% of the populations as Marxist jihadists in London.
But you get some people down there trying to fight for their freedom and saying, hey, we kind of like the United States.
They get deported, right?
I just want to make sure we got this correct, right?
cleo paskal
That's absolutely right.
You've got four Chagosians, including one that was so Chagos, so Diego Garcia is in an archipelago of islands called the Chagos Archipelago.
And again, I'm concerned that the focus has really been on Diego Garcia and not all of these other islands, which are forming a protective barrier around, along with their territorial waters, around Chagos, around Diego Garcia.
And four Chagosians, including one that was forcibly expelled from the islands when he was 14 by the British, have now gone back home.
And those are the four people.
And they're very pro-American.
They want to name an island after President Trump.
They say that base is there to protect them.
steve bannon
This is why they're getting deported.
They want to name an island after Trump.
They actually are pro-American and they're getting deported.
But the haters in London, 20% now Marxists and jihadists, And it scared the British government that they're telling us, hey, this huge air base that we kind of use jointly, you can't use it when it comes to Iran.
They're not an ally, Cleo.
john gardner
President Trump just said on True Social that it would be a big mistake for the UK to hand over control of Chagos Islands to Mauritius.
But the State Department earlier this week has said that the U.S. does support that handover.
So does this post now suggest that the U.S. does not or that President Trump had changed his mind on this?
karoline leavitt
The post should be taken as the policy of the Trump administration.
It's coming straight from the horse's mouth.
When you see it on Truth Social, you know it's directly from President Trump.
That's the beauty of this president and his transparency and relaying this administration's policies to all of you and to the rest of the world.
alex armstrong
We are set for yet another embarrassing U-turn.
unidentified
So protecting the national security of our country and our citizens is the utmost priority for this government.
That military base on Jago Garcia in the Chagoth Islands is a vital and crucial piece of national infrastructure.
We need to secure that base going forward for decades to come.
The Prime Minister has been very, very clear in his conversations with America and with President Trump.
And President Trump himself has backed this deal not once but twice.
And the U.S. administration just this has put in place their confirmation that this lease was the best deal on the table.
We will continue to do that.
Alex, with all due respect.
alex armstrong
With all due respect, the Prime Minister said that the Presidents of the United States will essentially have the final say.
He's now said this must not go ahead.
Are you going to U-turn again?
unidentified
We will be protecting that military base and securing national security going forward for decades to come.
That is the priority of this government.
We'll continue to have conversations with the Americans and with our allies around the world.
But ultimately, what is important is that we secure that base.
marco rubio
For five centuries, before the end of the Second World War, the West had been expanding.
Its missionaries, its pilgrims, its soldiers, its explorers pouring out from its shores to cross oceans, settle new continents, build vast empires extending out across the globe.
But in 1945, for the first time since the age of Columbus, it was contracting.
Europe was in ruins.
Half of it lived behind an iron curtain, and the rest looked like it would soon follow.
The great Western empires had entered into terminal decline, accelerated by godless communist revolutions and by anti-colonial uprisings that would transform the world and drape the red hammer and sickle across vast swaths of the map in the years to come.
Against that backdrop, then, as now, many came to believe that the West's age of dominance had come to an end and that our future was destined to be a faint and feeble echo of our past.
But together, our predecessors recognized that decline was a choice, and it was a choice they refused to make.
This is what we did together once before.
And this is what President Trump and the United States want to do again now, together with you.
And this is why we do not want our allies to be weak, because that makes us weaker.
We want allies who can defend themselves so that no adversary will ever be tempted to test our collective strength.
This is why we do not want our allies to be shackled by guilt and shame.
We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage, who understand that we are heirs to the same great and noble civilization and who, together with us, are willing and able to defend it.
And this is why we do not want allies to rationalize the broken status quo rather than reckon with what is necessary to fix it.
For we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West's managed decline.
steve bannon
It is Thursday, 19 February in the year of our Lord 2026.
And you might ask Steve, this is War Room, Texas.
What in the hell are we in London?
Why are we in Munich?
What are you talking about?
This island is in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
What about this airbase?
It's up in England.
It is all about.
Western civilization.
On the ballot on 3 March is exactly what that cold open was.
Frank Gaffney has decamped and is now in Texas.
Of course, the worms in Texas.
A lot of people are here about this situation of Sharia law that's on the ballot on 3 March.
It's Proposition 10 to ban Sharia law in the state of Texas.
The speech of Marco Rubio was fantastic the other day.
And there's an article, I think, coming up from Charlie Spearing, the former Breitbart reporter who is now White House correspondent for the Daily Mail.
And I think at least I was quote I talked to him about it.
I said, look, that speech is the sequel to President Trump's speech in Warsaw in August of 2017 about the defense of the Judeo-Christian West and particularly Christian civilization in Europe and the United States.
That's what this proposition is about, the banning of Sharia law in the jewel of the crown of the American Union, and that would be the great state of Texas.
The comments I made is that it was a beautiful speech, poetic.
The Wall Street Journal editorial board loved it.
The Atlantic Council loved it, statesmanlike.
Rubio clearly presenting himself as a potential president of the United States and statesmanship, is a great, doing a great job as President Trump's Secretary of State and National Security Advisor.
First time since Kissinger that anybody's ever done that.
But I said, the speech is 15 years too late because it's not about them not paying for their defense.
It's not about their weak military.
It's not about that.
I said, these countries, particularly the United Kingdom and France, as two of the majors, you got Netherlands and others, where Gertrude Villers came from, who came over here and helped us kick this off with this conference.
But the United Kingdom and France are heading to civil war.
And you can see that in the streets of Paris, and you can see it in the streets of London.
And lo and behold, what's happened in the last 24 hours?
President Trump has said, hey, look, you're not giving away Diego Rosia.
It's central to any type of a range of alternatives that I want in Iran.
And of course, with all the bases here in Texas and all the troops in Texas and all the patriots and veterans in Texas, obviously when we're thinking about going to war with the Persians against the Persians, people in this state understand there's going to be tremendous sacrifice from people called Texas citizens.
More importantly, the government of the United Kingdom, which Rubio is sitting there saying, we got to work together.
We've got to be allies, everything like that.
Starmer and these people today said you cannot use this airbase and your bombers cannot use this airbase.
There are those in this audience old enough to remember the French during the raid on Gaddafi, I think in 83, 84, back in those times.
At the last second, they said we couldn't use their airspace and the FB 111s that left England had to fly around, had to go around Spain.
I think a couple of them ran out of fuel, shot down and crashed because an ally at the time said you can't do it.
Why did Starmer's government say we can't use that airbase?
You know why?
Because the Marxist jihadist will not allow, a labor government will not allow an American attack on an Islamic Republic.
This is exactly what this election here is about.
The entire West, and we continue to use London as a specific example.
It was Peter McIlvany coming over here and saying back in November, said, guys, I've worked with you for a long time.
I think you better understand something.
Texas is farther gone in the short timeframe that this has been happening than London was when it happened.
And you're going to have a much, much harder time of putting this away.
Frank Gaffney, your thoughts and assessment, sir.
frank gaffney
Well, you couldn't be more right, Steve.
This is about Judeo-Christian civilization.
And Donald Trump in his national security strategy warned the Europeans that they were facing civilization erasure.
And you've just been pointing out the evidence that that's happening.
The question before us is: are we going to find our civilization erased by the same people who are doing it to the Europeans at the moment and have done it already in other parts of the world?
And clearly, make no mistake about it, have that in mind for this country as well.
The documentation is now unmistakable.
Amy Meck, for example, a wonderful gal who's using X as an instrument of mass destruction, I think it's fair to say, by simply documenting what these jihadists, especially, and I think occasionally she picks up on the red part of the red-green axis as well, the communists.
It's in the same package, of course, with a guy like Mamdani.
But the point is that what we're confronting in the state of Texas as we speak is a choice.
It may not come again, I don't know, but it is a choice at the moment for the people of this state to say no to civilization erasure, to say no to civilization jihad, which is what, of course, Muhammad Akram of the Muslim Brotherhood said the brothers were going to be about in North America.
And that was 1991.
So what we're talking about is simply the execution of a plan.
We've been on notice about it for decades.
They've been beavering away at it for decades.
And they're now at the point where, and this is what's so alarming, Steve, about the situation in which we find ourselves.
The jihadists in particular, and I think probably the Chinese communists for that matter, and the red, green, and blue, the globalists in this country as well, have now all reached the conclusion that they're going to succeed in erasing our civilization.
And that's why on prop 10, the ballot initiative in the GOP primary that is underway as we speak with early voting and that will be concluded on the 3rd of March.
That choice could not be more clear.
It's those five words.
Texas should prohibit Sharia law and draw the line on civilization erasure and prevent the jihadists from continuing to have their civilization jihad metastasized.
And with your great help, Steve, and this Warren posse, and in particular, people on the ground here in Texas, I'm going to be speaking to a bunch of them in a moment with Eagle Forum's chapter here.
Texas Bans Sharia Law 00:05:08
frank gaffney
Fantastic people.
They get it.
And they're not going to take it.
It's kind of appropriate that this is the state in which the Alamo drew the line with a previous effort by invaders to destroy, you know, the civilized part of this country at the time.
They weren't completely opposed to civilization, Judeo-Christian civilization, of course, Santa Ana's army and so on.
But the point is, we're at a moment where the Alamo is before us once again.
And it is absolutely certain that if the jihadis succeed, perhaps in defeating this ballot proposition, Proposition 10, because not enough Republicans turned out for their primary and voted yes to Proposition 10, the last item on this long ballot.
And the jihadists get to vote, and they actually carry the day.
It truly is the beginning of the end, as it was for Danny Crockett and the rest of those guys.
But unlike them, it may be the end for this civilization, this American part of Western civilization.
And we can't let that happen.
And thank you for what you're doing to prosper it doesn't.
steve bannon
I've got the easiest job in the world.
I provide a platform for some of the greatest people.
You got the Amy Mex of the world and her staff here in Texas are doing incredible work.
That's hard work.
But I want to ask you, I know you got a bounce in the Eagle Forum from Phyllis Schlafly and Ed Martin.
I mean, the best people in the world.
These are the types of groups of people pulling together.
It is, we don't have a choice here.
Texas has been targeted, has it not?
This is not a random, this is not a random occurrence.
You don't have Epic City.
You don't have the halal food.
You don't have the pouring in from Houston to north of the—what has happened is I've been here and not had time to get my dig down into this.
It's quite obvious the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, one of the most explosive growth parts of the country with great jobs, great talent, et cetera, has been specifically targeted for jihad.
It's obvious what's happening here.
It's obvious what's happening in Austin.
And it's obvious the people who are collaborators who will work with the jihadists because of money and the ability to make more money.
I just want to, in leaving, to make sure the people in Texas know you have been targeted.
You have been targeted because they believe the West is a unique moment of weakness with what's happening in London, what's happening in New York, with Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis.
And they think that if they can break Texas, that they can control the whole game.
Not tomorrow, but in the days and weeks and years to come.
And you can see it every day.
Frank Gaffney, closing thoughts.
frank gaffney
Well, one other analogy that I think it's important to draw here, Steve, is we've heard a lot over the years, including from Tommy Robinson, of course, and Peter McElvaina, about the rape gangs, the rape jihad that's been going on in Europe.
Well, I just learned two days ago that that's happening in America in a big way.
There's called Sugar Baby University, which is conjuring up what's so-called beneficial relationships between American co-eds on colleges, college campuses, universities across this nation, including in Texas, Texas A ⁇ M, Texas University of Texas, other universities across this state.
These girls are signing up in an effort to reduce the crushing burden of student debt to check, to go off for trysts with rich Middle Eastern men who sometimes take them off to Paris and to Doha and to Riyadh, where they wind up not only being raped by the guy who took them, but by a bunch of his friends as well.
The point of which is to impregnate them and in some cases to induce them to convert to Islam and move to the Middle East.
This is the kind of jihad that every red-blooded American, certainly in Texas, ought to say, not on our watch.
But a lot of people are turning a blind eye to it, including on these campuses.
And I'm afraid possibly in our government as well.
This must stop, Steve, because that kind of jihad is only going to beget the violent kind in due course, and it may not be that far off.
Vote to ban Sharia.
Bansharia.com is our website for the Save America, Save Texas campaign.
Go there and then get off your duff and go vote if you're in Texas for Proposition 10.
Yes, it's at the end of the ballot.
Hang in there, but vote yes to say no to Sharia, because mark my words, if we don't prohibit Sharia, Sharia will prohibit freedom in America.
steve bannon
Frank Gaffney, thank you so much.
Vote Yes to Ban Sharia 00:04:02
steve bannon
And thank you for putting up the website and standing everything up.
Good luck with the Eagle Forum.
Send my regards.
Love Phyllis Schlaffley, Ed Martin, great fighters.
Thank you, sir.
Frank Gaffney.
unidentified
Thank you, sir.
frank gaffney
God bless you.
steve bannon
Civilizational Jihad has been doing this a long time.
He's been right every step of the way.
Ben Berquam, I want to pivot to the other side of the equation.
It's got jihad, but we also have this kind of the Red-Green Alliance.
And folks, the reason I asked Ben to break up his day and join us here on War Room Texas is that I don't believe, some people do, that have gotten engaged in this, but basic Texans are just not aware yet.
And this is what part of this great awakening that we're working on about this Red-Green Alliance and how deeply embedded it is Texas right now and how you're going to start seeing major impacts in elections going forward.
Ben, the reason that I had you on, I think, and maybe somebody else did it.
I don't know.
I follow the news pretty closely.
I don't remember somebody doing it, but I know that you were there for all three parts of this war against America.
And not just there, you were at the tip of the spear doing some of the most basic, best reporting in the most dangerous areas of the world.
You were there for the Big Steal, particularly in Arizona, but you were all over.
You saw the Big Steel up close and personal.
You were there for the invasion, whether you're in Darien Gap down in Columbia or in Panama or on the Texas border or interiors of Texas.
And you've been there for the revolution.
You have been in the streets in Minneapolis and other places seeing this.
You're the one person that has not me seeing it from a studio and talking to Ben and making sure we got it.
You have actually been face to face with evil now going on from 2020.
Your assessment, sir.
ben bergquam
Yeah, it's really bad.
Just basically where we're at right now, I'm just breaking it down from those three points.
2020, 2022, and 2024.
2020 and 2022, I watched the theft real time in Arizona when Fox capitulated and called it and they stole it with mail-in ballots and no signature verification.
And you add the machines into that and the rest of that.
2022, I watched them steal it with Carrie Lake.
And I was actually in the courtroom with her when the judge said, sided with the defendants or the people that stole the election, the electioneers, that she couldn't even verify the signatures.
Her team couldn't verify the signatures on the mail-in ballots because it was an invasion of the privacy of the people that voted.
And the conservative estimate is at least 10% signatures didn't match, at least 10%.
The theft was so egregious.
And the fact that we still are not able to even verify the documents, then you look at what they did with that steal.
They created the largest invasion, not just in American history, but in global history.
There's a global travel agency for illegal immigration to destroy the West, both Europe and America.
And I covered it in Europe, in France, in England, and saw the death of Europe.
The only place there's one wall of protection in Europe, that's Poland, Romania, and Hungary.
Everywhere else is basically gone right now.
And then you compare that to America, the same thing, the same people that were a part of the steal of our election, invited the invasion into our country and are now marching the streets of our cities across America to demoralize Americans, to get Republicans to be the weak noodled, limp noodled, weak people that they want to be.
It's almost innate to them.
Watching this happen in real time so that they can then steal the election again this time around in the midterms.
And watching this combination of jihadists, cartels, and the communists all working together simultaneously to do this.
Awakening in Texas 00:03:15
ben bergquam
Steve, we're fighting to not offend.
They're fighting to the death.
steve bannon
That's absolutely a perfect way to say it.
And this is what I think we're seeing an awakening in Texas right now.
People are awakened.
Look, there are people who have been awakened on this long before.
But I think now the people come from out of state and are working with people, it's starting to catch on fire.
And this is the fight.
If we do not win in Texas, we're not going to win anywhere else in the country.
And Texas is the jewel of the crown for one reason.
Texas is the leadership of MAGA.
Texas is the railhead of the Trump Revolution.
Texas is a country in and of itself.
It's 31 million people.
It's got the eighth largest economy in the world.
And it's also got a history of people that don't quit, that people that turned really a vast prairie, right, and some desert into one of the greatest economies in world history with a track record of patriotism and defending this republic that's unparalleled.
Okay, Ben, hang on.
What we're going to do is take a short commercial break.
Burt want to thank our sponsors, Birch Gold.
Take your phone out, text Bannon at 989898.
You get access to the ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals, the age of Trump, and it gets you with a qualifying purchase to be able to get a free copy of the Patriots Guide, the Patriots edition of the end of the dollar empire.
Also, Patriot Mobile, 972 Patriot.
You call right there.
You call now and you're going to get somebody in their call center, a citizen with the East Texas accent.
Make sure you go check it out today.
Patriot Mobile, 972-PATRIOT, back with Ben Burquam, John Gardner in a moment.
As Texas goes, so goes the nation.
As the nation goes, so goes the world.
Are you prepared to fight for this state?
Are you prepared to fight for your country?
Well, that's the question.
Are you prepared?
Because Berquam, I want you to give your bona fides, not in the steel, which you were unbelievable, not in the invasion, which you and Oscar Blue Ramirez for four years went into the most dangerous parts of South America, Central America, the Texas border, Arizona border, cartels, all plus did Europe.
Texas Under Siege 00:08:23
steve bannon
Plus, you were on the beaches there.
A couple of years ago, you did a live report from France, Calais, and said, hey, this thing's out of control.
Ben, I want to bring it up to now because I don't think you have done your bona fide.
You've done more raids than any other reporter with DHS and customers border all over the country, from Chicago to Los Angeles, all of it.
Plus, you have also been the field reporter in places like in places like Minneapolis where this organized revolution, not an insurgency, an organized revolution, Marxist jihadist revolution, has demanded, and let's be blunt, folks, they won this round to stop mass deportations.
So, Ben Berquam, what message do you have from how you have borne witness to this revolution, sir?
ben bergquam
The coordination that I saw, watching the invasion was shocking when I first saw it.
And I thought, who the hell would allow this to happen to our country unless you hated this country?
And that's the reality of it.
The people that are in charge under Joe Biden, the string pullers under Joe Biden hate this country.
You have that combination of jihadists and communists that are so connected nationally.
There are hundreds of organizations that are all operating together that have a very simple goal.
That's to destroy America from within.
And as of right now, they're colluding together.
You have communists and jihadists who are diametrically opposed on most issues, but on this issue, destroying America, and in particular, destroying Christian America.
They are united on that to the point where we don't realize how bad this is.
They did that.
They invited the invasion specifically so that they could do what they're doing now.
I've ridden in every major city in America, the big ones, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Portland, all the way down LA, all of the cities, Houston, they all have the same apparatus in place.
The rapid response network, it's this part of this idea of intersectionality, all of these groups operating together to obstruct ICE and to obstruct America.
And the most important part about this is to demoralize the American people and to get the Republican pussies, excuse my language, to not do their job and not stand up to fight back against this.
They want to kill us.
That is what's happening right now.
They love the fact, you know, the saddest part about what I saw and what I'm seeing in Minneapolis, this is demonic manifestation in real life.
They are so demon-possessed, many of these people, that they wanted to be Renee Good.
Wanted to be Alex Predi because they are willing to die to destroy this country.
That is what we are up against.
This is not getting Democrats elected, getting Republicans elected.
This is the destruction of America by people that hate this country, by forces that have been brought into this country.
You have money from the CCP, you have money from Iran, but you have forces within this nation that are intentionally working to undermine our country.
And you have ICE agents and border patrol agents, DHS agents that are out there, FBI agents, that are out there every single day, simply trying to get bad guys off our streets to remove the illegals that were invited into our country.
And these guys are winning.
Think about this, Steve.
They are winning in the propaganda war to convince Americans that what ICE is doing is wrong and what they are doing is right.
That should scare every single American.
steve bannon
You talk about arresting bad guys and been this hesitancy of officials in places like Minneapolis.
Folks, in Dallas, Texas, the other day was one of the most serious things I've seen happen in this country.
And we've been doing this for almost 20 years now.
A jury, Ben, take it, a jury, you had Trende Iraq, and you had different gang members.
I guess one of the gang members hadn't given the money.
And so they went in front of his daughters and his nephews.
They brutally tortured and murdered this guy.
They had two hung juries.
He walks.
Why?
Jury nullification.
And we have found pamphlets and we've found training material where they're actively saying we're using jury nullification as a tactic.
That if you're arrested, if you're arrested by ICE, if you're arrested by customs of border or any authorities, that's not legitimate.
That's part of the Trump apparatus, the fascist apparatus.
And we will work with basically the community.
So you will never get a fair trial again in a major metropolitan area.
And when I say that, I mean like the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, sir.
ben bergquam
Yeah, that's probably the scariest part about this from what my experience is.
Go into Mexico, going to Central America, going to all these countries outside of El Salvador, which really is the model.
Looking at these countries that are failed narco-states and realizing that we are on that path.
And you have this combination.
It's not just the cartels who are infiltrated in these cities.
It's this combination.
It's that three-legged stool that is so dangerous.
It's so deadly for this nation that you have jihadis who are working to destroy us.
You have communists who've been doing it for 50 years.
And most people still won't even say the word communist.
And you've got the cartels that are all colluding together.
If you lose that, if we lose our constitutional rights, our equal protection, everything that was ingrained, enshrined, and bled for by our founders, there's no getting it back.
It's, you know, there's a cliche.
You vote your way into communism.
You have to bleed your way out.
And that's where we're heading right now.
If you can't get a fair trial as an American citizen, but an illegal alien gang member terrorist gets off because these networks are working to basically undo our constitutional rights.
There is no more country.
There is no more constitution.
There is no America.
And if America falls, the world falls.
That's why they understand that.
The same reason why they're targeting Texas.
And to all the Texas voters out there, there is no more important issue right now than the de-Islamification of Texas and the decommunization of Texas.
That's why they're targeting it because Texas is the one place that they can change America forever.
If they can take Texas, America falls.
It's hard for me, Steve, because living it, and you walk around this country and you still see people that are just brain dead to what's actually happening.
This is the death of America.
This is national suicide or it's homicide from the left.
And we're sitting back and people on our side are afraid to say it.
They've got to get up.
If you're running for office, if you're a Republican, you better have the stones to say it.
And if we don't get voter ID passed by the Senate, if we don't get rid of the filibuster, I'm afraid we're going to lose it forever.
But these are the stakes, Steve.
It's now, it's this election or never.
And honestly, you look at Europe.
Europe, I think, is too far gone outside of, again, a mass revolution, mass carnage, bloodshed.
I don't see a ton in our country.
steve bannon
Poland, Hungary, Romania, 100% agree with you.
But Paris and the UK, UK told us, if you're going to bomb an Islamic Republic as radical as Iran is, and people know I'm not for the bombing.
But even the option of the alternative, if you're going to do it, you're not going to use the base that you house your aircraft at.
That's because they have a significant minority of, I think, 40 or 50 members, British members of parliament that are Muslim, that swore in on the Quran and are all part of the Labor Party, virtually all part of the Labor Party.
And they're not going to allow it.
This is manifesting itself every day.
Ben, I'll let you go.
You're a patriot and American hero.
Where do people get all your content?
ben bergquam
Well, Real America's Voice, our next episode of Law and Border will be next Saturday.
This Saturday, I'm speaking out at the CRA, and we've got a surprise guest that will probably be joining me at that.
I'll be the keynote out there.
My social media at Ben Berkwam at Real America's Voice News.
New book coming out called Step Into Fear about all of this, about now taking that time to stand up for this nation.
And then frontlinamerica.com and our nonprofit, if you want to support ICE and Border Patrol and actually stand up, frontlineaf.org, frontlineamericafoundation.org.
steve bannon
Fantastic work, Ben.
And this weekend at the California, was it Republican, was it California Republican Authority Assembly?
These are the hardcore MAGA, and they've selected Ben to be the keynote.
I just couldn't be prouder of Ben Berquam.
Trade Deals and Tariffs Impact 00:10:59
steve bannon
Thank you, sir.
Heck, we had Natalie on Natalie did last week, did Margaret Hoover's firing line at the William Buckley show.
Our own Joe Allen is on the cover of Time magazine.
It's just incredible.
The great content coming from the war room makes everything easy.
Talk about great content.
So John Gardner, the president went, and we kind of ran over.
The president took a couple hours to do this, but he's running away from the Board of Peace meeting this morning.
The president gave an amazing speech in, besides all his asides, and he's making all the news, dropping bombs.
But the core of his speech was about Northwest Georgia.
But you could have come to Texas and made it here in the heart of Texas.
And that is how tariffs are working for small manufacturers.
There, they had a relatively small manufacturer that makes cranes that essentially helps build other capital equipment and buildings.
You're kind of the leading voice.
I know you've gone to the White House a bunch of times.
You're working with Navarre and others over there.
Talk to me about the importance of President Trump's Dublin, tripling down, saying, hey, and I think putting a shot across the bow of the Supreme Court talking about tariffs.
Have tariffs been a net benefit, sir, do you think, to the small manufacturers of which you are basically the voice of?
john gardner
Oh, 100%.
You know, there's 12.8 million people employed in the manufacturing industry in America today, which makes up 8 to 9% of total U.S. employment.
That's a big voting block.
90% of those people work at manufacturing companies that are 50 or less.
And so President Trump's really bringing back the spirit, reincarnating the spirit of the founding fathers, tariffs for revenue, tariffs for protection of our industries.
And something else here that I saw during his speech is the founding fathers didn't look at the working class and the middle class as an economic bracket.
I feel the founding fathers looked at them as a political stabilizer for the entire American experiment.
And something President Trump said to me when he spoke at Davos that he said, we intend to raise the living standards for our citizens to levels never seen before.
And I love that because it targets the middle class.
America built the greatest middle class in the history of mankind from 1945 to the early 70s.
We had the greatest middle class by the metric of the majority of our population had disposable income, income beyond their daily necessities.
And that was the American dream.
And President Trump wants to do that again.
And how you do that and how we did it in the past was through manufacturing.
And tariffs drive manufacturing growth and protect our producers.
And so that's why I'm so excited to see his speech today and how, and I can attest to the fact that tariffs are driving massive manufacturing.
Look at the trade deficit dropped, I think, 78% today, or this year, President Trump was predicting it will be to zero.
People really got to understand how what an undertaking this is that Dr. Navarro and President Trump are doing and the whole administration.
This is, we had 65 years of free trade.
unidentified
Okay.
john gardner
Gutty American industry.
unidentified
Yeah.
steve bannon
Free trade, a reason to get American manufacturing.
They never talk about this.
The trade deficit is about, I think, $30 trillion, the trade deficit.
And somebody says, oh, well, that's just an accounting function.
It's not an accounting function.
That is a lie.
That's a Wall Street spin of the Goldman Sachs's and the first Bostons and the JPMorgans.
That is resources, financial resources going out from the United States to buy material goods to come in.
And President Trump, the overall trade deficit from the Chinese, they had a surplus of $1.2 trillion last year.
We had the lowest, I think, in years because President Trump's gotten tough with them.
What did they do?
They went to Europe and dumped it all.
Take a minute.
I want Texans to be up with your thinking because we haven't had you on Warwarm, Texas yet.
Walk them through the American system.
This just didn't happen.
You had Hamilton, you had Lincoln.
I think it was Henry Clay.
You had some very smart people that conceived of a system from the very beginning of the republic that would basically be American-centric, sir.
john gardner
The whole idea of the founding fathers for our nation, the whole vision they had for our nation was one that paid its bills via tariffs.
Income tax was not even a thought to the founding fathers.
Their very first legislative act was the Tariff Act of 1789, and it dictated that they raise funds via tariffs.
And they did it to protect our industries.
And what that did is it allowed our young industries to grow into powerhouses.
And from 1824 to 1934, the average tariff rate was 40 to 50%.
And during that period of time, you didn't have income tax.
And even when income tax did pass in 1913, it was very, very low for like the top 12% of the population.
steve bannon
Hang on.
But hang on.
You had two things.
You had no income tax.
You also had the greatest explosion in manufacturing.
We took the Industrial Revolution from England and it metastasized.
We became a manufacturing superpower paid for by overseas, not by the American people.
This is what Trump's saying.
Why do we have this income tax?
You got to pay for everything.
If people want to get into the golden market, they're going to do it two ways.
Either move your manufacturing over here or you're going to pay a premium price like you would pay a premium for a box at a sporting event or at an entertainment event, John Gardner.
john gardner
Amen.
And one of the things we have now that the founding fathers didn't have, we have this fantastic market now.
So, President Trump has almost developed a new tool in the tariff toolbox where he's telling countries, hey, if you don't do this, you're not going to get in our market.
You know, we have a much stronger market, the number one market in the world.
And he's deploying this kind of new tariff tool.
I find it fascinating to watch the many different ways he uses it during his speech today.
He said he used it.
He threatened Macron in France that we're going to raise your champagne prices if you don't help us out with the drugs and costs.
So he's deploying it in a way to create peace and to get trade deals.
And once you build up that market, one of the things that irritates me the most about this Supreme Court case in tariffs is that it's a toy maker.
It's a toy maker, a U.S. toy maker that is suing the president of the United States for his tariffs.
And here is a toy maker.
Here's an ad for a toy maker from 1919 where he talks about keeping your dollar in America and helping America grow, helping your money help America grow.
And where is the patriotism nowadays in the business community?
I think it's shifted with the ideology of unilateral free trade from Milton Friedman in the 70s.
And I think we can start to see the middle class shrinking.
The numbers on the middle class shrinking start in the 70s.
And they go the in 1970, the middle class held 62% of U.S. aggregate income.
Today, the middle class holds only 43% of U.S. aggregate income.
steve bannon
This is why you're feeling pinched.
Folks, in Texas, the Texas folks, if you're middle class and you're making six-figure income, but you got nothing but angst and anxiety, this is it, right?
The decline of the dollar and also the pressure cooker that you're under now.
It turns out a lot of that goes back to us becoming a manufacturer or losing manufacturing superpowers also tied to our financial relationship with fiat currency and gold.
John, we got to bounce.
I want everybody to pile in and find out more about Gardner, what Gardner represents.
Remember, of the 12.8 million American citizens that are employed in a manufacturing capacity, 90% are working in shops of 50 people unless you see this all over Texas.
Those small manufacturers are the backbone of this country.
And we've got to increase it and we've got to make them more profitable and we got to make sure they're generating more wealth.
John Gardner, where they go to get all your content, sir?
john gardner
